Do you have any debt in your life? What are you doing to minimizing that debt before it becomes a bigger burden on you? When you go to wash your boss’s car, instead of just going through the car wash take a moment to wipe it down after it goes through. Look for any details that were missed and touch up on them. Make sure that the car coming out of the wash in the brightest, cleanest, and most impressive car leaving the wash. Over delivering is the main concept Clay Clark is talking about here on this episode. Imagine this concept in the eyes of a business owner. What does it mean to over deliver? To over deliver, is to deliver in excess of a norm, standard, or requirement. When you begin to assign projects to your team, be sure to give them a deadline. As you get the projects back, take note of who was able to get the project done sooner and who was late. The ones what get the job done are generally interested in the well being of your business. Do you struggle with over delivering for yourself? What do you do to make sure you go above and beyond for your customers or clients? Think of it this way. If you reward your employees for going above and beyond in your company what do you think your clients will do if you treat them the same way. They too will take note of you exceeding their expectations, resulting in repeat business . The more customers, the more sales. The more sales you make will increase your opportunity to reinvest that money back into your company.
