15 Steps to Becoming a Successful and Proactive Person: Mr. Clark’s Opus – 4. Meta Time MoJo and Your Master Calendar – Part 1

In this business coach episode we discuss meta-time Mojo and your master calendar. Meta-time comes from the Greek word above. So it is important that you are able to take a timeout out of your day and think above the poor situations you might find yourself in. You must think above the day to day struggles. You must schedule a time into calendar each day for you to spend planning out your day. This is a very vital thing, and is one of the steps of the time management skills you will need to be successful. You must be able to think strategically about what needs to happen, and what you need to accomplish in your day, which is the definition of being proactive and not just reactive to your life. We will also be discussing step number eight as well which is, determine that every email, text and voicemail does not require a response. It is important to realize that just because someone has access to you through these devices does not mean they have the right to take up all of your time. There are so many distractions throughout the day that are always begging for your time, so we really can’t afford to pay attention to every social media notification that pops up on our phones. If we do try to reply to all of these things we will never be able to get anything done that we are needing to. Learn about what forms of communication you do not need to respond to. Will also begin discussing step number nine which is to have a master calendar. Please join us as we continue this discussion on the next episode so be sure to tune in for the best advice from the best business coach in the world, Clay Clark.
