In this video, Jim Cathcart, who was inducted into the Sales and Marketing Hall of Fame in 2012 (London/Paris) and inducted in 2008 as one of the “Legends of the Speaking Profession,” will deep dive into the practical steps of overcoming adversities with a changed mind. Jim starts the video off by discussing the mindset of wanting to lose weight and what his thinking process and what kind of mindset he needed to be in to get to his goal weight. Jim will tell you about his commitment to putting on his shoes and going to the curb every day instead of his commitment to running every day.

Jim mentions that you have to commit to the first step before you can take the second step. Once you commit to the first step it easier to commit to the second, third, and so on. Break down the steps to your goals and just commit to doing one step at a time so it is less intimidating and overwhelming. The biggest obstacle is just starting. So once you get started you are equipped to proceed to the next step. It might seem silly, however, it is not silly for people who are committed to succeeding in their personal lives and in their business.
