In this series, Lee Cockerell, former Executive VP of Operations for Walt Disney World and Clay Clark, the former U.S. Small Business Administrator Entrepreneur of the year, business coach, father of 5 children, and owner of numerous chickens, will deep dive into how to create a magical organization through great management. Lee starts the video off by discussing that everything in your life will be hard before it becomes easy for you. Lee will discuss what matters and what you need to spend your time focusing on the most.
Lee mentions that you have to individualize training for your employees so they can represent your company in the best way. The only way you get excellence in an organization is training and enforcement. You have to make sure that your customers think you are a reliable and consistent company because you have haired the right people, you have trained them, and now you delivering by executing that training. Lee also mentions that you should eliminate the hassles in your company. You have to ask your customers and your employees what the customer does not like the company and to learn what those hassles are for the customers. You have to ask yourself, do you have too many hassles that get in the way of your customer’s enjoyment of the business.
In this video, Lee Cockerell explains that you will have more confidence, more self-esteem and believe in themselves more when you train your employees better and more often. He mentions that the only way that you get excellence in an organization is training and enforcement.
