In this series, Lee Cockerell, former Executive VP of Operations for Walt Disney World and Clay Clark, the former U.S. Small Business Administrator Entrepreneur of the year, business coach, father of 5 children, and owner of numerous chickens, will deep dive into how to create a magical organization through great management. Lee starts the video off by discussing the stress that he went through when his wife was in the hospital and how that was the hardest time in his life and how he handled that situation.

Lee mentions that when you serve, you are the giving one. He mentions that the most important rules are the basics rules, for example, being nice to your employees and your customers. Managers and owners should always be thinking if they are giving enough to their employees and customers, are you giving enough time, are you giving enough support, are you giving enough effort to train your employees so that they will treat your customers right. Lee says that you will be remembered for how you handled the situations in your life. What you teach your employees, they will teach to new employees, your behavior teaches the new employees, your role modeling teaches the new employees, and they teach the next group.

In this video, Lee Cockerell mentions that leaders make themselves available to the people they lead. You can not be a leader unless you are available and on the front line making things happen. You must ask yourself, are the things you are doing going to leave a legacy for your employees, your customers, or your children.
