Entrepreneurship: What It Is And What It Is Not – Episode 1 – What It Is Really Like to Be an Entrepreneur – Part 3

Are you an entrepreneur? Do your friends and family know what it means to be an entrepreneur? Have you been characterized incorrectly as not printer? If this is you, then make sure that you tune into this episode of the Thrive business coaching videos. One of the commonly confused definitions of what it means to be an entrepreneur is the person that consistently is in debt all the time. If you are somebody who only takes on debt, and then replaces that with more debt, and then takes on a different type of debt, and never actually creates anything, that is not entrepreneurship. The next commonly misunderstood definition of an entrepreneur is the person that writes off everything that they do regardless of its relationship to their business. You cannot live a life that you want, and right off everything that is a personal expenditure even though it has no relationship to your business. If you simply I Have a contracted job, and you run around writing off personal expenses and call that entrepreneurship, you are mistaken. The next type of entrepreneur that is misguided is the entrepreneur that is extremely religious, and believes that god is the only driving force for whether or not their business will succeed or fail. Regardless of religious views, if you believe that only praying Will bring you money and build your business, you are mistaken. You must get out of the car and push to build the business, and keep praying. The same person is the person that plays the lottery every single week in hopes to hit the jackpot and therefore earn a ton of money as part of a get rich quick scheme. Let it be known: there is no such thing is get rich quick. In fact, get rich quick often times will take longer then building a business sustainably.
