Focus: Put All Of Your Eggs In One Basket & Make Sure No One Kicks Over That Basket – Episode 2 – Part 1

In this episode, Business coach Clay Clark sits down with Chef Remmi Smith to discuss what it means to focus. They talk about what it means to put all of your eggs in one basket and make sure no one takes over that basket and how that can relate to your particular business. In every case, it is important to prepare for the opportunity that is ahead of you. Those that are most prepared often are seen as those that receive the most opportunities. However, that is not true. Those that are most prepared always are able to take advantage of opportunity when it comes along. You must prepare diligently and previous to when opportunity is on your front doorstep. Andrew Carnegie, once one of the world’s most wealthy people, discusses how most people only committed 25% of their time to their work. If you can commit 50% or a 100% to your work, then you will read equal parts reward for your investment. However, that means making sacrifices. All of the top entrepreneurs in the world have learned to make sacrifices and in trade-offs in order to achieve what they’re working towards. One of the best examples of this is Steve Jobs. He grew Apple Computer to great heights and was one of the top innovators of the world. But he was sold out on his product innovations. He has a quote that talks about focus in simplicity. That is one of his top mantras at Apple Computer. He has always been very clear with what he is trying to achieve. That is because he is defined his goals along time ago, and he will work relentlessly towards them. You must do the same thing. Right now, take time to clearly define your goals for where you were working towards, and do not stop until you get there. Sellout to completing your goal, and do not let anybody or any distraction get in your way.
