How to Succesfully Balance Your Work and Home Life – Episode 1 – Part 3


Are you going through something right now? Are you dealing with a family member or employee that is driving you crazy? Developing an entrepreneurs mindset is one of the biggest skills that you will develop as a business owner. In this episode, Dr. Robert Zoellner and business coach Clay Clark sit down to discuss the successful balance of work and home life on a weekly basis. There are different moves that you can use in order to successfully manage your emotions before arriving home every single day. when your family is excited to see you after a hard day of work, that is not the time to bring up all of your employee complaints and burning fire that you had to deal with throughout the workday. It is important to create a period of time that separates your work in arrival home each day. This will allow you to transition more comfortably from the rigors of the workday and spending time with your family. Most entrepreneurs approach work with an alpha tally, and if you arrive home each day with that alpha mentality engaged, you will quickly become dislikes and unappreciated at the home. This is an important skill to master. Make sure to take interest in what your family is doing in participating in. The next move is to be mentally engaged with whatever you are focusing on. This means if you are with your family, completely disengaged from your phone which includes work phone calls, client requests, emails, text messages, and social media. If you were going to be engaged with social media, be all in for a short period of time and then put it away. There is no need to be distracted at home.
