The 6th Day Principle: The Art Of Getting Ahead – Episode 1 – Part 1

Join business coach Clay Clark for another exciting episode that’s dedicated toward teaching you how to get ahead. In this episode, Thrive correspondent, Caleb Taylor, teams up with Thrive visioneer Clay Clark as they discuss the art of getting a head. Are you tired of always feeling like you are behind in life? Perhaps you are a person who constantly feels surpassed by others, as you sit there stagnantly sitting by waiting and wishing for something great to happen. Maybe you are not a person who does not feel afflicted by the people around you surpassing you in life, but perhaps you feel like you are not capable of living your own potential. If you are curious to learn how to get ahead in life, but don’t know how, then this episode is definitely for you. One question that some people forget to ask whenever the look at others get ahead around them is, “What is my “American Dream?” Before you feel discouraged for other people surpassing you in life, you must first ask yourself whether or not you even have the same goals as those other people. It is so common for people in the United States to get caught up in the rat race, the endless pursuit of bigger and better, without even stopping to ask yourself whether or not those pursuits are worth it. Before you start the pursuit of something new, ask yourself, “Is this thing something I really want?” After asking this question, and answering it with thoughtful reflection and sincerity, you too can begin to get on track to a more meaningful pursuit and life. Don’t let yourself get caught up in the endless pursuit for more and more, first decide what you want in life, then commit to pursuing it until you get it, without worrying about people around you.
