The Road From Richmond To The NBA – Episode 1 – Part 1

Business coach Clay Clark will be meeting with thrive mentor Paul Pressey. Paul is a professional coach in the NBA. Some of the teams Paul had the opportunity to coach were the LA Lakers, San Antonio Spurs, and the Boston Celtics. He alone played a whopping eleven seasons himself. Paul had many things holing him back from success, yet, he was able to overcome those trials. Paul talks about the different channels of encouragement he had growing up from his aunts and uncles. These people helped influence Paul’s life to become who he is today. As an entrepreneur you may also have that opportunity to go out and encourage one individual. What would you do to get out of your comfort zone? To inspire one to become their greatest entrepreneur? Clay goes deep into Paul Pressey’s childhood with what he had while growing up. Paul was able to take what he had and apply himself to the next level. With the mindset of committing yourself to a goal anything is achievable. This episode is a strong reminder to all entrepreneurs that you do not start with all the tools in the toolbox. Those tools are acquired as you develop you personal skills. Taking those skills to the next level by gradually working on them. We encourage you to take a moment to note all that is said in these episodes. The words out of Paul’s mouth can truly be inspiring. Here at Thrive15 we look for success stories and we share them with you. Thriver, there is no visual of what you can become. If you have a goal and you achieve it, what do you do then? What is the next chapter in your journey? Take that moment to note that this game is never ending until you give up. However, we do not support people giving up on their potential. We support thrivers that dream with the greatest mindset.
