Lee mentions that at Disney if they do 7 things right then they can learn more difficult jobs later because if you are nice to people, then they give you a break and if you are courteous and smile and greet them, they will understand more. You have to make your employees your brand. You have to tell them what your expectations are and be clear with them about what you are needing from them. If you get better at hiring you will have less stress and trouble in the long wrong. You have to look for skill, a “can do” attitude, and passion. You need to ask them about an obstacle question so you know how they react to tough situations.
