The 4 Jobs In The Career Path For Award – Winning Entrepreneurs – Episode 2 – Part 1

The journey continues in this episode! This episode continues an exciting series on the four jobs in the career path for award winning entrepreneurs. American’s number one business coach, Clay Clark, leads us through the different roles and jobs that we have as if we desire to become an award-winning, top entrepreneur. In the previous episodes, we learned that one must be in the top ten percent of their field, or in other words, a technician. If you do not know whether or not you are a technician, you must ask yourself, “Am I in the top ten percent of my industry?” If the answer is no, then you must quickly become the top in your field by  surrounding yourself with people who are already in the top of your field. After this is done, you must create big ideas and become a big idea entrepreneur that is pursuing truly noble accomplishments. From there, you must realize and accept that you will not become the person you were born to be over night. However, through the diligent application of effort and commitment to your goals, you will become a highly capable person over time. Stay focused on making yourself better on a two percent basis each week, and over the course of the year, you will be one hundred percent better in a year. In this episode, Clay talks about the powerful ideas that Howard Schultz implemented when he created Starbucks. Rather than making it another standard coffee shop, Schultz focused on making his Starbucks locations a “gathering place” by focusing on every detail of his branding and decor in his stores. Today, there are well over 17,000 Starbucks stores across the world, and it all started with one man’s great vision. Let this be your year to accomplish big things as well!
