Legendary Franchise Coach and Thrive15.com Team Up
NEW YORK CITY, NY – Terry Powell, a legendary franchise and business coach, has teamed up with Thrive15.com, an online educational platform similar to Lynda, to provide practical advice for people starting a business or a franchise. Powell is the founder of the Entrepreneur’s Source (E-Source), a business coach firm that is dedicated to giving support for aspiring entrepreneurs.
Powell has been dedicated to the development of entrepreneurs throughout his career. Through his experience with coaching business owners, Powell has found that 75 percent of the population has a desire to become self-sufficient and own their own businesses, but less than five percent of those people ever take steps to fulfill that desire. This inspired Powell to find solutions and make resources for starting a business successfully more accessible.
In 2005, Powell realized his vision to create one-source resource by acquiring Business Advisers International, now AdviCoach®. The Entrepreneur’s Source has become an international business coach and advisory firm and works with over 200 franchises throughout the United Sates and Canada.
Powell serves as a board member on the International Franchise Association’s (IFA) Diversity Institute, an organization promoting diversity and inclusion within the franchise community. In 2004, Powell earned his Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) certification from the IFA and is active in the organization, annually sponsoring the IFA’s “Entrepreneur of the Year Award.”
Powell’s over 30 years of experience in the business coach and franchising industries has led him to be considered the founder of the business coach profession. He joins an impressive mentor collection on the Thrive15.com site that includes trainings from former Executive Vice President of Operations for Walt Disney World® Resort, Lee Cockerell, and Golden Gavel Award winning speaker, Jim Cathcart. Powell’s trainings on the site include Franchising 101, What Is a Franchise Coach, The Franchise Business Model: the Pros and the Cons, and Dealing With the 7 Myths of Franchising.
