NBA Hall Of Famer Teams Up With Thrive15.com To Teach Leadership as Business Coach

SAN ANTONIO, TX – NBA Hall of Fame basketball player and two-time NBA Champion, David Robinson, has teamed up with Thrive15 to teach lessons in leadership as a business coach. Robinson, who was part of the 1992 U.S. Olympic “Dream Team,” has proven leadership skills both on and off the court.

Robinson, in 2001, founded the Carver Academy in San Antonio, whose mission is to train elementary-age children to become disciplined leaders with integrity. In 2007, Robinson co-founded the Admiral Capital Group, a private equity firm with a portfolio that includes nine upscale hotels, Centerplate, one of the top hospitality companies in the world, and Academy Sports + Outdoors.

In one of his trainings on Thrive15.com entitled, Leading by Example, Robinson teaches principles as a business coach of leading by doing. According to Robinson, the first step to leading by example is to “do [your] job as well as [you] can.” Robinson believes that when someone is a natural leader people will look for them to lead and to set the tone.
