Transcribed with Cockatoo

Clay, you’re an entrepreneur, I’m an entrepreneur. And as they say in stoic, the obstacle is the way. And so if you let these pinheads get in your way, you’re in trouble. Octononverba is the motto of the U . S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kingspoint, New York.

I had appointments with Naval Academy and Kingspoint Merchant Marine Academy. And Merchant Marine Academy’s motto was Octononverba. In other words, don’t listen to what a person says. Watch what they do. Clay, my honor, my honor to be on your show and thank you for all you do. I hear the ripple effects from you are good ripple effects.

You know what I mean? People rave about what they learn from you.

So congratulations. My name is Kevin Thomas and the name of our company is MultiClean. We are a commercial janitorial service and we serve the entire state of Oklahoma and Kansas and soon to be Arkansas. We have probably grown probably five times. I think when we first started with you, we had 60 to 65 employees, and now we have a little over 300 employees. Before we got involved with Thrive Time, we didn’t really have any systems or processes in place.

In six, seven years, I’ve probably been to 12 to 13 business conferences and Amazingly, each time I go, I learn something new and I’m so excited to bring it back and show the team about marketing and how to help you guys implement the SEO. The coaching is just great because there’s accountability. It’s just a fantastic way to grow your company. Having a relationship with Thrivetimes, it’s just been amazing for multiclaim. Oh my goodness, it frees me up because then I don’t have to take a class on search engine optimization or learn marketing or shoot video. That’s not what we do.

What we do is commercial janitorial service. And you guys were the experts on marketing. And you teach me and hold my hand and show me how to do it right.

And therefore, now my company is much, much larger. Folks, on today’s show, we’re joined by a real client. He may look like a male model. He may look like a hologram, but he’s a real person. He’s a longtime client. He’s a man that we consider to be a friend of The Thrive Time Show and a friend of mine.

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the show Kevin. Welcome on to The Thrive Time Show.

How are you, sir? Clay, I’m doing great.

I had a great Christmas holiday, and I’m glad to be here.

OK, so first question, can you tell us what is your name, first and last name, and what’s the name of your company, sir? My name is Kevin Thomas and the name of our company is MultiClean.

We are a commercial janitorial service and we serve the entire state of Oklahoma and Kansas and soon to be Arkansas.

And how long have we worked with you approximately at this point, sir?

It’s been about six, seven years. Well, I always look forward to our Friday segment because selfishly, I learn a lot. I hope you guys all lean in and enjoy this. Whatever level you’re involved in a business, literally everything from plastic surgeons, to car wash owners, to carpet cleaners, to dog trainers, to pretty much podcasters, cemetery plot sellers, just about everything under the sun, someone is working to make it better. And Clay Clark, over 160 of them and has a better insight on what’s going on politically and the business world of anybody that I know.

Love this segment.

Welcome Mr. Clay Clark. You guys brought me to be here. Everybody watching, yes, I am that pale. No, they have not edited.

I am that pale. Well, Clayton, we’ve been to several of your business conferences, and in your book, How to Build a Successful Business, pretty straightforward title. I like it. It’s like think and grow rich.

It’s like, what the hell is that about?

Yeah, exactly.

What is he trying to say here? This is an amazing book. One thing you talk about and you talked about on this show a few times is the need to constantly be, you know, fill in the funnel and that you do a thing called a group interview every Wednesday night. You’ve talked about that quite a few times. I saw a clip of a guy that that’s doing an interview for an incredibly tough position. And I wanted to get your feedback as somebody that’s done more interviews, group interviews, job interviews, been on that side of them in person than anybody that I’ve ever met.

Check this clip out and see what coaching you would give this guy presenting this very difficult job.

Just give me one second.

Sure.

Sorry.

Uh -huh.

Hey, two minutes.

Thank you.

Hi, good afternoon.

Sorry about that. Hi, nice to meet you. Nice to meet you as well. Have you ever done one of these interviews over the camera before? No. Well, let me tell you a little bit about the job to get started with.

It’s not just a job. It’s sort of probably the most important job. The title that we have going right now is Director of Operations, but it’s really kind of so much more than that. Responsibilities and requirements are really quite extensive.

First category for the requirements would be mobility.

This job requires that you must be able to work standing up most or really all of the time, constantly on your feet, constantly bending over, constantly exerting yourself.

a high level of stamina.

Okay. That’s a lot.

For how many hours?

135 hours to unlimited hours a week.

It’s basically 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

I’m sure you’ll have a chance from time to time to maybe just sit down here and there, yeah?

You mean like a break?

Yeah.

No, there are no breaks available.

Is that even legal?

Oh yeah, of course, yeah.

Okay, so like no lunch? You can have lunch, but only when the associate is done eating their lunch. I think that’s a little intense. No, that’s crazy. Now this position requires excellent negotiation and interpersonal skill. We’re really looking for someone that might have a degree in medicine, in finance, and the culinary arts.

You must be able to wear several hats.

Associate needs constant attention.

Sometimes they have to stay up with an associate throughout the night. Being able to work in a chaotic environment, if you had a life, we’d ask you to sort of give that life up.

No vacations, in fact, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and holidays, the workload is gonna go up, and we demand that.

With a happy disposition.

That’s almost cruel.

That’s almost a very, very sick, twisted joke.

But when there’s time to sleep, or…

Oh, no time to sleep.

Yeah, all encompassing almost.

That’s exactly right.

365 days a year? Yes.

No, that’s inhumane.

That’s very insane.

The meaningful connections that you make and the feeling that you get from really helping your associate are immeasurable.

Also, let’s cover the salary. The position is gonna pay absolutely nothing.

Excuse me?

No, nobody’s doing that for free.

Yeah, pro bono, completely for free.

What if I told you there’s someone that actually currently holds this position right now?

Billions of people, actually.

Who?

Moms.

Yeah.

Yeah. Moms.

That’s awesome. And they meet every requirement, don’t they? Oh my god.

Moms are the best.

Yeah, there’s no pay.

They’re 24 hours.

They’re always there. Now I’m thinking about my mom.

Yeah, and what are you thinking about her? I’m thinking about all those nights and everything. Thank you so much for everything you do. I know it doesn’t seem like I appreciate all of it, but I definitely do. So, Mom, I want to say thank you for everything that you’ve done.

I love you very much.

You’ve been there through thick and thin. My mom is just awesome. She’s awesome. That’s such – How’d that guy do in the group interview, Clay? Well, I’ll say this, too, for all the moms out there, you know, we have five kids and my wife, it seems like about Five in the morning is the first time that there’s some mom -related activity. And I go to bed at nine o ‘clock.

So I go to bed at nine, and it seems like around midnight, she’s still doing something related to the kids. And so I can say for all the moms out there, it really is a full -time job.

And so for any mother out there that maybe feels less than or is made to feel less than because you’ve chosen to be a full -time mom, don’t feel that way at all.

Because I really think it’s a powerful calling to raise your kids. I can’t think of a better calling for anybody out there. So for all the full -time moms out there, big shout out to you.

Happy Mother’s Day.

I love that phrase in there, the associate.

Can we have lunch? Yes, but standing it only when the associate is eating.

I know, so good. That guy did such a great job.

The best to it is, oh, and holidays, you’re going to work those as well.

Matter of fact, actually, the workload increases and you must do it with a cheerful disposition. It’s 100 % true. Now, today, guys, what I wanted to unpack, and again, pretty of the moms out there that, hey, you have a full -time job and you’re a full -time mom, and think about that, that’s two full -time jobs. Oh my god. Yes. What I want to talk about on today’s show is this concept called expectations.

And Dave, I sent you guys an email with kind of a follow -up. Feel free to play it or not play it. But there’s a song that Brett Rao and I just recorded about this idea. But expectations, and this idea, the song that he and I wrote together was based upon some conversations we had. But he has been interning here or working here with me, Brett Rao, recording artist, for the last few months. in here, he’s kind of noticed like, wow, what you do is every day, it’s relentless, and it’s different than what he’s seen before.

And we started talking about expectations. And so I want to walk everybody through how a mentor or a coach can absolutely change your life by changing your expectations. And there are five specific moves I want to get into. It’s EXPECT. It’s E -X -P -E -C -T. So E. So for expectations, if you’re out there today, Dave, you know this, if you’ve been around a super successful person, they just have a different level of energy.

Successful people just have a different level of energy. I didn’t know you would ask me about the interview process when I interviewed job candidates, but I’m looking for good energy because I can teach people how to upload videos, I can teach people how to make a website. I can teach people how to sell. I can teach any possible skill, but I cannot teach energy. And I think that’s a huge thing.

So if you’re watching today’s show and you say, what is the value of a mentor? Maybe if you’re a producer, you can pull up our website. If you go to thrivetimeshow . com and you click on the testimonials button, We have so many super successful clients. And they all tell me, they say, Clay, somehow teaming up with your coaches and your team, it took my ideas from the junk drawer of my life and moved it into my current everyday reality. You somehow took the book I was going to write, and you made me write it.

You took the business idea, and you made it happen. You took my dream and turned it into reality. And that has to do with everything So we’re going to walk you through the steps here about changing expectations.

But if you’re watching right now and you don’t have somebody in your life who has dramatically more energy than you, who’s pulling you forward and pushing you to have success, you’re not going to have success. Another analogy for you, for all the water skiers out there, if you’re in the lake and there’s not somebody pulling you, if you’re out there on those skis and someone’s not pulling you, you’re not going to go anywhere. It’s not going to be a fascinating experience. pulling you, in my opinion, from my experience, having a mentor in your life, a personal trainer for fitness, a personal business mentor to guide you, someone to pull you to success, I believe it’s very hard for most people to jumpstart their way into success. So Dave, pro tip number one about expectations, you gotta have a mentor in your life that brings great energy. You know, and that’s why that was such a nail in the coffin when Trump labeled Jeb Bush as low -energy Jeb.

Once he said that once, it stuck, because every time you saw him, you’re like, that he’s obviously wealthy, great academic resume, he sort of checked the… LinkedIn to be the next president. You know, it’s kind of what everybody thought. But then once you saw his energy level, you’re like, how in the world can the boat be going that slow and pull a skier?

It’s like one of those boats you sit in and you’ve got the little paddles, you sit beside each other. Like a boat like that cannot pull a skier. It doesn’t have enough horsepower to get them out of the water. You know, and that’s how everyone saw Jeb Bush from that moment forward. You almost can’t say Jeb Bush without saying low energy Jeb. And again, I know some of your listeners love Donald J. Trump, some of them do not, but I want to be very clear, he changes the energy in the room.

I mean, I watch Eric does that. Robert Kiyosaki does that. Robert Kiyosaki, best -selling author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Your son is one of the best players of the Rich Dad, Poor Dad, the actual board game. It’s a real thing here, the cash flow board game. And so I told Robert, I said, Robert, you’ve got to meet Colton Whited.

This guy is the most engaged player of the game cash flow quadrant. But what Robert told me at the conference, he said, Clay, the energy at your conferences was different. He could feel the energy. He loved seeing the enthusiasm in Colton’s eyes because he knew that Colton actually played the game, loved the game. He loved seeing eager people taking notes. The energy.

So if you’re watching today’s show and you feel stuck in any way, shape, or form with your business, why do you need a mentor? One, you’ve got to change the energy. Somebody in your life has to change the energy. And I want to share a success clip here. This is a woman and just a fact. It’s a fascinating story, just a great lady.

Her name is Jamara Gonzalez, and she’s in San Diego, California. Her story is so incredible.

She grew up where my wife grew up in San Diego, California. She’s a real client, a real success story. She has a shuttle service, so she drives people from A to B for weddings and big receptions. Check out this story. Here we go.

My name is Jamara Gonzalez, and I’m with Magic Carpet Shuttle and Tours.

I have been a longtime listener.

of the show along with my husband. We really love everything you do, super encouraging, and I appreciate the website that you have with all the resources. But eventually, I felt like I was at a point in my business where I knew I could do more, and so I booked the ticket out to Tulsa from San Diego, and it came out to a conference, and it was truly life -changing. What kind of growth have you had this year? We’re up 24 % from last year. Now, just to be clear, it’s May.

So just to understand what that means, she’s up 24%. It’s the fifth month of the year. So at our current pace, she should double her company this year. And she had said, I’ve been listening to your show for years, plural. I’d been going to your website. for years, plural.

I’ve been downloading your podcast for years, plural. And she said, I just recognized I needed to change. So once you change your expectations, it changes conversations. Think about it. If you have a mentor in your life that says, how can we double your company this year? And previously, you’d just been trying to grow by 2 % or 3%.

What does that do? It changes conversations. So pro tip number one, I’m trying to teach everybody these moves. Move number one, again, is E. We’re spelling out the word expectations, okay, E -X -P -E -C -T. E is energy. If you have a mentor in your life, it will change your energy.

If you do not have a mentor in your life to push you, if you’re trying to get in shape and you are not in a women’s fitness class where the teacher is putting her foot on the gas and they’re not just pulling you into the workout, you gotta switch to a new class. If you’re a man out there and you have a personal trainer brings weird or low energy, get out of there. The energy is so important. Now, the second area that a mentor will change your life is excuses not accepted. You say, what does that mean? I mean, if you have a great mentor in your life, they won’t accept excuses.

So as an example, Dr. Zellner, love Dr. Zellner. Maybe your producer can look him up, find him on Google. He was my wife’s first boss. So my wife’s first full -time boss. My wife’s going to Oral Roberts University.

and she’s a freshman, and her boss was Dr. Robert Zellner. He’s the founder of Dr. Robert Zellner Associates, the Z66 auto auction, the guy behind Regent Bank, which is now a very successful bank. And Dr. Zellner, I’ll never forget this. My dad was dying from Lou Gehrig’s disease. So my father was dying from Lou Gehrig’s disease. And I’ll try not to get super emotional, but it was unbelievable.

He pulls me aside, looks me right in the eye after one of our staff meetings, and he says, you doing okay, buddy? And I said, It’s tough, because my dad, just to be clear, I had just gotten back from a trip where it was the first time my dad couldn’t use the restroom by himself. And so I had to help him with that, and he couldn’t breathe. It was a lot. And so I’m trying to help my dad breathe while taking him to the restroom. And I’m his son, and I’m not 40 years old yet.

And it’s just a lot. You can just see the tears right on the verge. After one of our staff meetings, he says, can I talk to you? I said, sure. There’s like in -between staff meetings. He looks me in the eye, and he says, I need you to know that you’re going to need to make payroll.

You’ve got to make payroll. You’ve got to make your meetings. You’ve got to be a dependable father. You’ve got to be a dependable father. You’ve got to be a dependable husband. You’ve got to make payroll.

Let’s repeat. You’re making payroll. You’re being a good husband. You’re being a good father. Then when life happens, when you get done, I’m here for you. We can talk about it.

We can man cave it up. We can, you can just sit and watch me smoke a, you can watch me smoke a cigar, Clay. You can just sit with me and I will, I will, I will, I know you don’t smoke, but I’ll smoke on your behalf. I, whatever, whatever you need, I’m here for you, but you gotta get it to, are you doing good? And I was like right there with the tears and he’s like, cause you can’t, you can’t skip payroll for your employees this week.

And he’s like, I’m not saying you were going to, I’m just telling you a lot of guys, a lot of business guys, a lot of guys, once they have a personal tragedy, they, they start getting inconsistent. A lot of husbands freak out. A lot of men get divorced. A lot of men get divorced at the times like this. A lot of guys, a lot of men get divorced. A lot of women have problems.

A lot of guys, they’re good. And you gotta be a consistent father. You gotta be the rock or you got, you got it. You got it. You got it. Just like having Mick in your corner, just having that coach.

There are so many stories about, I love sports because of these kinds of stories, but a coach should not allow you to have excuses that are validated. Your coach shouldn’t say, OK, I’m going to give you an excuse for not getting that done. They should have compassion and love, but at the same time, they can’t accept those excuses. So again, expectations. One, your mentor should bring great energy. The second, and Jamara, I’m just picking on her because she’s such a great client, she’s never made excuses.

But she knows we’re not going to validate any excuses. So she was telling me, she says, Clay. I’m having a hard time getting footage from my clients. So I’m going to pull up her website. So you can see, maybe your producer can pull it up. This is the website.

It’s called Magic Shuttle. It’s in San Diego. And let me pull up her website real quick. So I’m going to do a search on Google real quick. Magic Shuttle. It’s San Diego.

It’s a transportation service for primarily weddings. So the actual domain is ridemagicshuttle . com, ridemagicshuttle . com. And she said, Clay, I’m having a hard time getting testimonials from brides and I know I need testimonial videos to get the brides to want to, if you’re a potential bride thinking about hiring a transportation service, you’re going to want to see some testimonials. testimonials and you’re going to want to get reviews, but brides don’t want to leave a review after the wedding because now they’re on to the honeymoon.

And I said, here’s the move. So I’m going to pull up a video on my side here. I’m going to pull up a video real quick. This is wild. So she says, what would you do? And I said, well, first off, we’re going to get them.

I said, we’re going to interview these women.

We’re going to be like a sniper of video testimonials.

And we’re going to get them when they don’t expect it. So here’s the video testimonials. Here we go.

This is her about us video. My name is Jessica Maher -Gonzalez and I’m with Magic Carpet Shuttle & Tours. Here we go. I’m Hannah, I’m from Pride.

I heard about Magic Carpet from our venue they recommended and it’s been a great experience working with them. Super easy communication and setup and wedding day is finally here so I couldn’t be happier. If you’re planning an event, a wedding, a corporate event, whatever it may be, you found the right place. We offer you a concierge level of service unparalleled to what you’re going to receive in the industry. We really strive to provide our clients with a personalized level of service. We take all of the stress of planning the logistics because this may be your first time and we do this every day.

Hi, I’m Katie Stein.

I’m getting married. I heard about Magic Carpet through my venue. through Wedgwood Weddings, and I’ve already used her for my wedding dress shopping. I said yes to the dress, and I’m having the best day of my life. So definitely. Perfect.

Anyway, but you get the idea. I’m like, we’re going to get these video testimonials. We can’t accept excuses. We have to do it because you’re going to need to gather objective Google. This is what makes you rank top in the search engines. If you’re watching today’s show and you have a service business or a product business, what makes you top in the search engines is the core four, video reviews, images on the website, search engine content, and more Google reviews.

There are four things. Now, there’s a lot of nerdery and a lot of technical stuff, but every week, like a hammer, V -I -S -M. So I’m like, Jamara, we gotta get video reviews. And she’s going, how would you do it? She didn’t give me, she didn’t want an excuse.

She’s like, people are not wanting to schedule a studio booked testimonial. How would you do it? I said, get your smartphone out and ask them if you can film a video testimonial on the day of the wedding or the day of the bachelorette party or whatever. And she goes, I’m going to do it. And this lady faithfully does it. But again, Dave, if I would have said, I know it’s difficult to get reviews, let’s just move on and not do it.

I would have been doing reverse mentorship. And Dave, I think a lot of times we have a spouse or a husband, a girlfriend, a boyfriend, a loving mother in our life that validates our excuses and it can be very damaging when you have somebody who says, you’re right, you’re right, Dave, it is tough, don’t worry about it. Yeah, because here’s the deal, excuses are true. And the only difference between them being an obstacle or not is if you allow that to stop you. But everybody has them.

Everybody has two of them and they stink. It’s like armpits, right? Everybody has them. And then if someone buys into it though, then it’s like, okay, or you’re excused to, oh, I’m on this diet, you know, you just need one coworker. That’s like, wow, one donut. It’s not going to hurt anybody, you know?

And so, and so this is your day. You had a tough day.

You had a good day.

You should celebrate, you know, you’re, you should be mad. You know, there’s always a reason to have a donut. And so you just need one person. to kind of like partner with you in that and then it validates the excuse.

And that’s what a coach comes into place.

Cause you’re like, ah, nope, no excuses. It’s again, this is powerful. And if you’re watching today’s show and you’re saying, I want to change my life, that’s what I want to do. I’m just telling you the story about Jamara. I mean, what a great lady. Those are good videos.

She’s wonderful. So we move on to the P E X P P. Okay. This is a big P. You gotta reorganize your priorities, so priorities reorganized. What am I saying? Priorities reorganized, reorganizing your priorities.

You need somebody who tells you this is the most important thing, this is the second most important thing, this is the third. So let me just tell you a true story. My daughter shall be traveling with me in an airplane from A to B today to a undisclosed location. And I’m traveling for something that I viewed as a reverse vacation, but what I’m doing as the the captain of the Clark ship is I’m saying Okay, what we’re gonna do is we are going to find a way to find fun within this thing So whatever this thing is we’re doing we are going to find fun, right? How are we going to on what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna make it some sort of a community thing community involvement and so as I’m doing various legal things that I don’t want to do related to the Reawaken tour. What you guys are going to do is you’re going to have a great time.

I am going through the threshold of hell. You guys are going to be having the best time ever. That gives me joy knowing that you’re having a good time while I’m not having a good time. You have come up with great stories telling me about the great things that happen. My kids are like, Are you serious? The priority number one is let’s make sure my kids are not affected by said legal thing that I’m dealing with.

That’s my priority number one. Priority number two is let’s make sure my wife feels validated, appreciated, that she feels cared for, that she feels like, wow, you care. So I’m like, that’s going to be a priority. It’s the priority. Then the third thing is I’m going to make sure that all of my businesses are booming amidst the chaos. I didn’t want to start the Reawaken tour, for those of you listeners that don’t know.

It was something I felt called to do. I never thought I’d become friends with General Flynn and Eric Trump. It wasn’t an aspiration. I had to. I never wrote down on a piece of paper, self, someday I want to stand up against the unconstitutional lockdowns and start a tour that loses $2 million. No, but I did it, and so I’m going, you know what I’m going to do is I’m going to make sure that my kids, their lives are thriving, that my wife is thriving, she feels loved and appreciated.

And I’m going to do that. I’m going to make sure she feels like the chosen one, like it’s a great thing there. And then I’m going to make sure that the businesses are booming. That’s what I’m going to do. So I’m going to change my own internal expectations and take things to the next level. And that’s what I can do.

And a mentor will come into your life, a good one, and will coach you. That’s what we do for our clients. clients is this wonderful lady, Jamara, she’s saying, so you’re telling me that you are validating, Clay, I’m telling her as the coach, and she’s telling me as the client, she’s saying, as my coach, you are realizing I have 24 hours a day. Yes, I do. And you’re telling me that you recognize that you don’t operate in some reality distortion field. You know I have the same amount of time as you do.

What should I do with that time? And I said, Jamara, we got to do four things every week on the website. I need video testimonials. I need images from actual weddings. I need search engine content that’s original, and I need more Google reviews. Now on the marketing side, I need your entire marketing plan consists of D, Dream 100.

I need you to contact every single hotel in your area and let them know that you have the best service in the world. So what we’re going to do, let me pull it up real quick here, we’re going to contact all the hotels, all the venues, and we’re going to tell them that you offer the best experience for brides. On the day of the wedding, you take the stress out of the wedding. You’re going to get people from A to B. Most people don’t have the wedding and ceremony at the same location, especially in California. So you’ve got to drive people from A to B. You offer the best services. And now, check it out.

She’s recommended by the city of Carlsbad, by the Hilton Garden Inn, by the Weston, by the Temecula Chamber, by the Palo Mexo Weddings. So now she’s recommended. on the recommendation list by these places. So now when you Google search, she comes up top. And when you go to venues, they recommend her.

It’s the priority thing.

And then she says, well, what else do I need to do, Mr. Mentor Guy? I said, you’ve got to interview potential drivers every week. You can’t ever get to a situation where you’re short -staffed because you know most people don’t aspire to be a shuttle driver for long periods of time it’s normally kind of intermittent job in between jobs a transition job and but by day by sitting down with her and laying out those priorities it really helped her organize her mind and for Stacey this is a woman you talk about we talked about in the opening segment for moms They’ve got a lot going on.

And for her, just the simplicity of knowing, if I just do videos, images, search engine, more Google reviews, and my dream 100, I shall be wealthy. And she’s told me the mind freedom that gave her was powerful. Oh, it’s huge. So again, Stacey, you’ve seen clients that we’ve worked with. And from your perspective as a podcast host, as a mom, as an entrepreneur, Prioritization, how does that fit into your world as a mom, especially when you were just doing the wedding? The priorities, how do you sort your priorities?

Yeah, I actually learned it from you. It’s truly like writing everything down that has to be done for the day, for the week, and then just being able to check those things off. It’s like taking everything that’s in your brain, putting it on paper, so now your brain can be relaxing while you’re just checking off the things that need to get done, the priority with that. And hiring you as a coach, it was life -changing for us because we started a podcast. We’d never done it before. We’d never learned how do you get sponsors, how do you do all of these different things.

hired you as a coach, we were able to then take the things that we didn’t understand and you helped us to put those on paper, check them off and then every week go through them. You know, okay, did this get done? Did this get done? So something that we didn’t know how to do, you made simple because you already knew how to do it and you walked us through it. process. It was life -changing for us.

Well, I would say this too, and I want to pull up this clip here. Robert Kiyosaki appeared on the Man in America show, and Man in America is a great friend and fan of the Flyover Conservative podcast of Man in America. He loves your broadcast. He’s told me this on multiple occasions.

And he’s also the thumbnail king, so you go back.

between the flyovers and Man in America. Who has the best thumbnails?

It’s flyover conservatives or Man in America.

It’s a very competitive space here. But he had Robert Kiyosaki on his show yesterday, and I want people to see what Robert had to say.

Here we go.

And Robert’s getting kind of quiet on this clip here. Let me back it up.

Here we go. Here we go. Trying again.

Here we go. Feeling the flow. Play Clark, man. He is one character. Good word for him. Character.

Yeah, that is it.

Driven, smart. And I’ve never met a guy who was so hyper all the time. He’s doing so much good.

And then I met his mother and she just says, she just lets him be Clay Clark. I mean, so he’s endorsed by his mother and he’s doing magnificent work. So it was great meeting you out there and all the people that he surrounds himself with. His Clay Clark starts his days at five o ‘clock in the morning. Oh, it’s incredible. Yeah.

He’s he’s like he’s he’s a machine. He’s a machine. But his, you know, I got, I have problems with my company starting at nine o ‘clock. This rant, I don’t know if it’s a reverse commercial, but Robert’s just talking about how he loved that at our event, we executed on what he, he had his expectations, but this is the next thing a coach should help you do. They help you execute. And he talked about this over and over that at this particular event, he mentioned it on his show.

And then again, on Man in America that we delivered, you know, so I told Robert, Hey, we’re going to pick you up at the airport at this time. And Pastor Jackson Laumeyer will be with you in the vehicle. We’ll take you to dinner at this time. We’re going to start the conference at this time. Now, we’re not perfect. We didn’t hit every possible.

But we exceeded his expectations because we were focused on executing. And I think if you don’t have a mentor in your life, it becomes very easy to not execute. It becomes very easy to say, I’m going to write that book, but you don’t do it. It becomes very easy to say, I am going to start that business, but we don’t do it. I want to brag on one of my longtime clients, Pastor Jackson Laumeyer, who’s now a faith advisor up there at the White House. of the White House, Pastor Jackson, he told me, he said, Clay, I want to write this book about how happiness can only be found by pursuing holiness.

Maybe your producer can find it better than I can, but it’s Sheridan . Church. Maybe my internet connection’s being weird. But it’s Sheridan . Church. That’s the website, Sheridan .

Church. And when you click on there, there’s a button you can see his new book. But Pastor Jackson has this belief that happiness, there you go, the big red button right there. He said, happiness can only be found through pursuing holiness. He says, anything Outside of that’s chasing the wind and he told me that I’m going well, let’s write that thing and he goes Well, how long do you think it’ll take? I’m like, I think we can do it like, you know this week.

He’s this week Yeah, if you live up at the office and I’m bragging on him He came up to the office and basically lived up here and wrote and wrote and wrote and wrote and wrote and wrote and wrote basically like seven days just focusing on writing writing writing writing, writing, writing. And then he got it back to me and he says, how long will it take now? I said, well, I have to edit it. So it’ll probably take me five days. So, and I play little games. So I say, I’ll give it to you in five.

I got it to him in four. He’s like, Oh, okay. I see how it is. Well, I said, he said, what do I do now? I said, you need to edit my edits. You need to implement my edits or toss them out.

He says, how long will that take? I said, probably five days. He gets it back to me in four days. I’m like, Oh, okay. Okay. He says, how long will it take?

So I’m pulling all nighter. I’m up at like 3am editing this video. and I’m like, oh, I’m gonna get that to him in two days. And And we go back and forth. Anyway, this book is written, it’s endorsed by Daryl Strawberry, but the entire process from the start, the initial idea, to the writing of the book, we got the whole thing done in less than 30 days, and it’s a really incredible book, but again, we executed. Now the final two pro tips I wanna share about changing your expectations, C, Your mentor should be a change agent, a change agent.

Humans are typically resistant to change, and your mentor should push you to make the changes you need to make. You don’t make change just to make change, but a mentor should push you to make change. So back to our shuttle service, Jamara.

I was going, you know, Jamara.

With your packages, if I was a consumer and I was going to your website, I don’t quite understand them. Could we change this language and that language and this language so that a potential buyer could better understand? She says, oh, absolutely. One of the most coachable women ever, by the way. And so we made those changes. And she said, Clay, my sales percentage, my closing percentage has gone up double.

I’m literally closing twice as many deals. Wow. change she says what else would what else should i change i said well on the website we want to make this change and so your mentor should be a change Agent and then finally is it needs to be time sensitive t time sensitive your mentor should make everything time sensitive Like let’s get this done by next Friday. Let’s get this done by next Wednesday we’re gonna put a deadline on these items because a dream is simply a goal with a deadline to quote Napoleon Hill a Dream is simply a goal with a deadline and so so often we haven’t maybe read Jim Rohn books recently and so Jim Rohn the mentor that mentored Tony Robbins. He says that discipline is the bridge between between goals and achievement, right? Discipline.

So often we set goals, but we don’t achieve them because there’s not that mentor pushing you along the way. So a quick recap, what do you get out of a mentor? One, energy. Two, excuses not accepted. P, priorities not met. E, execute.

C, change agent, someone to push you. And T, it’s time sensitive. And you say, well, Clay, will it work for me? Well, what we do, Dave, is you guys know this. You’ve experienced it. You are experiencing it.

But for any of the people who choose to become a client, if you go to thrivetimeshow . com, it all starts with a 13 -point assessment. And I had a 13 -point assessment today with a lady, and it didn’t go well. Not like bad, like it’s not awkward, it’s just she isn’t in a right place to receive mentorship or to execute mentorship. So I said to her, she said, I want to pray about it. I said, yeah, absolutely.

I don’t speak for God. Why don’t you just think about it, pray about it, form a committee about it, and why don’t you come to a conference and maybe see if you’re, because she recognized, wow, there’s a certain level of accountability that comes with having a coach, and maybe the timing’s not right. I encourage everybody out there, go to thrivetimeshow . com. You can request a free consultation. It’s a free consultation at thrivetimeshow .

But Dave, I sent you guys a link, and maybe you can listen to it offline, but Brett Rayo and I were talking about expectations, and this guy, I want to brag on Brett, super talented musical artist, and we’re now putting out more songs in a week than maybe he used to do in a month. And he didn’t get more talented as a result of me. What we’re doing, though, is we just changed the expectations. We said, we’re going to put out songs, multiple songs a week, not multiple songs a year. And so now this guy is putting out great music. and for anybody out there who hasn’t followed Brett Rayo, you can find him on YouTube.

Brett Rayo, R -A -I -O. It’s incredible. Especially in a field like that. I watched a clip last night that one of, you know, your fellow comrades in the state of Minnesota prints. They found a clip, the news station, local like WCNB or whatever, they were going through all this old footage and it was a school strike where the teachers are on strike and they’re interviewing people outside and this guy’s watching it and he goes, I grew up in Minnesota, I’m just watching it for the buildings and how they’ve changed since it was 1970 or something when this was taking place. And he stopped it and he goes, That looks like Prince.

He’s like eight years old. And he’s like, wow.

And then they went and had this old reel to reel footage.

They had it so they could pull the audio out because they had no audio in it. He’s like, for sure. He asked everybody in the station, who does that remind you of? They’re like, that’s Prince, but he’s eight years old. And so they wanted to validate it was him. So they go through all these chains of people who knew Prince and knew about him.

And then they found a guy and a gal that both went to high school with him. And the guy was in his band when he’s a kid. But they made this comment. I think a lot of musicians have crazy talent and are great, but the ones who, like Prince, you know, that make it to that level go. The guy made a comment because he goes, Prince was the youngest of us. He goes, but he’d already started a band when he was eight.

And he goes, he was like, already proficient in keys and bass and something else because because he treated it like being an athlete because we all like sports and competing but we took music and we said we want to be as competitive at music as in being sports but Prince had a regimen as soon as they got out of school what time practice was starting because they held band rehearsals and some of these kids were like middle school high school and Prince was eight but he had he had that like diligent drive As well as obviously creative, when you change your name to a symbol, you’re very creative. But he had the discipline to do the grind. at eight years old if anybody wants to validate what you just said if they go to spotify and type in prince live uh he does a cover of a song called i want to be your lover it’s his song but he does like a piano version of his song i want to be your lover so it’s him just going solo and i don’t think people recognize i don’t think people recognize he was probably one of the best piano players or pianists of his of his era And so he’s playing, I Want To Be Your Lover, and it’s like, you are clearly the best ever. Then he sings a verse where it’s like all falsetto, and you go, you are probably the best falsetto singer ever. And then he does it where he goes down an octave, and he’s singing like bass, and you’re like, is this the same guy? And then you can find covers of Prince singing the same song, I Want To Be Your Lover, on guitar where it’s acoustic.

And then you’re going, this guy was the best, and at his concerts, Dr. Zellner, by the way, loved Prince. So Dr. Zellner would go to his concerts, and he said, Prince, would hop behind the drums for an entire set, and people didn’t know he could play the drums. And he’s like the drummer on stage, and he just did it for variety. And then he would play piano, then he would play keys, then he’d play bass. I mean, so again, the idea, if you’re watching today’s show, and it might be kind of a weird analogy, but if you want to become the prince of your industry, I mean, if you want to become the best you can be, everybody that I’ve ever studied that had super success, everybody, Everybody, Tom Brady, Michael Jordan, they all had somebody in their life that was kind of an irritant, an irritant, kind of like a clam, you know, you got the clam, we all know that analogy, the clam has an irritant, and over time, as the clam’s trying to make the irritant, stop annoying me, it produces a pearl. We’ve gotta have, we all know that diamonds come from pressure.

Everybody out there, I’m just asking you the question today, who is mentoring you? Who is pushing you? Who is pushing you to be your best? And if you feel like you need that in your life, because you don’t have that, Certainly that’s where I came from so I would encourage everybody. I worked at Applebee’s Target and DirecTV I grew up without money, and I knew I needed a mentor in my life, and that’s why I valued them so much, and that’s why I’ve spent so much money throughout my career paying an accounting firm to push me. paying a law firm to push the legal aspects of my company to be the best they can be.

So I’d encourage everybody out there today, call to action, go to thrivetimeshow .

com, thrivetimeshow . com, and tell us, mention when you fill out the form that you heard about us through the Fly Over Conservatives podcast, and we’ll make sure that you have a chance to win a backstage pass. And if you mention promo code PRINCE, I don’t know anything will happen. It’ll be a fun conversation. promo code PRINCE. And then that’ll make James kind of confused as to what’s happening.

And you can tell him your favorite Prince song.

I love that. Well, we do have the song. So as we close out today, we will play that with Brett Rayo on the close of the show today. So thank you so much for sending that to us, Clay. We really appreciate it. And Brett will be there at the event in June, right?

June 5th and 6th? What I’m trying to do, this was between you and me and everybody watching.

I’m pretty good at this, but I try to make certain connections. And so Colton Dixon, longtime client, is a Top 40 music artist. And Brett’s over here, and Brett’s really good.

And one of my friends, by the way, she used to write all the songs for Jennifer Lopez and for Wiz Khalifa.

I’m getting all these people in the room, and I’m going to kind of force them to write a song together.

Wow. Undiscovered artist and so I’m kind of so I sent my friend who used to write songs for Wiz Khalifa and Jennifer Lopez pre -christ And I sent her a demo that Brett and I did and she goes is that Bieber?

Not kidding. She was is that Bieber?

I didn’t tell her anything.

I said check out this new song. You got to hear it’s a demo She was is that Bieber? Are you working with Bieber?

And I go no, that’s my man Brett Rayo So she’s excited to hear him.

So I’m trying to make it happen for Brett Rayo So Brett Rayo, you can find him on YouTube Brett Rayo b -r -e -e -t -t -r -a -i -o Brett Rayo And he is very, very talented.

So we will play that song. thank you so much for joining us today. We really appreciate your time.

Everybody’s got an expectation. Everybody’s got an expectation. Expectations, sometimes you gotta change them If you wanna see change, if you want, if you want Expectations, change the conversations Aiming for the rooftops instead of for the basement Expectations, once we learn to raise them Working to the Lord and that’s how we praise Him Expectations, new communications Changes how we talk when we think about salvation Expectations, change the conversations Aiming for the rooftops instead of for the basement Expectations, once we learn to raise them Working to the Lord and that’s how we praise Him Some expectations, new communications Changes how we talk when we think about salvation Gotta be pushing even when you’re tired Gotta set the bar a little higher Even when it’s down to the wire Fresh perspective is fuel to the fire When you change your expectations, things start to change Change the people around you, things will reframe Change your environment, change your brain Design your life now, rearrange Don’t get stuck, people playin’ the game Stuck around, stuck people, stuck in their ways You only got one life and you’re workin’ your praise Change your expectations, change them today Expectations, change the conversations Aimin’ for the rooftops instead of for the basement Expectations, once we learn to raise them Workin’ to the void and that’s how we praise him Expectations, new communications Changes how we talk when we think about salvation Change the conversations, aiming for the rooftops instead of for the basement. Expectations, once we learn to raise them, work it to the void and that’s how we raise them. Expectations, new communications, changes how we talk when we think about salvation. Expectations, ain’t it just amazing how undecided we are.

I met his dogs. I met his chickens. I saw his compound. He’s like the greatest guy.

I ran from his goats, his chickens, his dogs.

So this guy’s like the greatest marketer you’ve ever seen, right? His entire life.

Clay Clark, his entire life is marketing. Four thousand percent from February to February. Now, I can better that. OK, Clay, I don’t think you know this. I don’t think you know this. I’m pinching myself.

And if I cry, forgive me. In the last two and a half days, we have bettered our entire month of February in the last two and a half days.

So and the phone’s blowing up. Everything’s just blowing up. Well, you’re right. It is like a rocket ship. So we’re pinching ourselves, actually. I learned at the Academy at King’s Point in New York, acta non verba.

Watch what a person does, not what they say. But I recognized at the age of 15, I was you know what? I am not gonna live that way. And so I started a company out of my parents’ basement called DJConnection . com, and I decided I am going to have success.

And so I reached out to millionaires and people that I kinda knew through church and friendships and people that, parents of my friends, and I said, what book would you recommend that I read? I’m a 15 -year -old asking this question. True story. And I kept being told, you gotta read Hello, hello, hello. Robert Kiyosaki, Rich Dad Radio Show. It’s an exciting time.

Also, I think a treacherous time, a spooky time also. But it’s always, you know, danger is a good time. Today, my guest is Clay Clark. And I went out with Tom Wheelwright to visit Clay with Eric Trump also. And the reason I want to talk to Clay this morning is a very important subject called study. And the reason I say that is things are changing so fast, and many people are completely missing the show.

Things are changing at rapid, rapid, rapid speed. Technology is changing. So I went to Tulsa, again, with Tom Wheelwright and Eric Trump. And the thing I was so impressed about Clay is this word called study. I don’t know, you guys must be in your water or something, Clay, but boy, I was so, so impressed how big you guys are. But what really impressed me was you have this huge congregation.

They’re all about guys your age. They’re on fire. And you start your classes at five in the morning. Now, let me talk to you about study here. We show our books here. This is how I study.

You know, this is The Creature from Jekyll Island. It’s on the Fed. And Clay’s doing the same thing. We study. So I go out to Clay’s place. in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He’s built this huge compound out there. And you guys start at 5 o ‘clock in the morning. It’s not by Zoom. They drive there.

They show up 5 o ‘clock, bright -haired, bushy -tailed, and all this.

And they’re on fire.

Your group is on fire.

So that’s what was on Clay, this technology. Tell your group, I was so, so impressed. Because like I said, studies became a bad word.

I got into fights in my own company because our staff didn’t want to study anymore. And I just, I don’t know how they can not do that. So Clay, anyway, welcome to the Rich Dad Radio Show. That’s what I want to talk to you about is how do you do it? Five o ‘clock in the morning, you have hundreds of people showing up in your huge, huge, huge auditorium on your property to study. Anyway, welcome to the show, Clay.

And what turns you on so much? That’s what I want to know. Give us a little about your background. My name is Karime Schofield, and the name of our company is Whistle While You Clean. I am Sophia Schofield. We live in Cincinnati, Ohio, and we service the tri -state, so Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana.

We were getting a phone call, and we were like, why is someone calling our business line? That’s unusual. And we picked it up, and it was a lead. I mean, it’s it’s been incredible, Clay. It’s we’ve had like, we’ve gone from zero to like 100 % growth. Like we’re like a full functioning company.

It’s great. Like we were blown away at how well we’re doing. So working with you guys, you guys have really taught us a lot about generating leads and pursuing our dream 100. So we have a list of customers that we want to market to. And so we been making phone calls.

We’ve been showing up in person. We’re trying to get near the businesses that they would visit if they were visiting like a hair salon or something. And then we start calling them and we just start pursuing them. And then the other thing that we do is when we do do cleans, we take a lot of video testimonials and we post those to our website so other customers can see. And then we also upload a lot of images of the things that we do. And so We’re also asking our clients for Google reviews after we’ve cleaned their houses.

And so it’s this constant cycle of doing those things over and over and over again. I would say if you’re on the fence, go to one of Clay’s conferences. They are hilarious. They’re fun. They’re educational. They’re so good that even my teenagers like them.

And I would say don’t let fear hold you back. If you want to start a business, do the obvious thing and hire someone who knows how to run businesses. If I wanted to get in shape, I’d hire a gym person, you know, a personal trainer. This is like the personal training for business. It has been absolutely amazing.

I mean, our coach is encouraging. When he first met with us, he said, Do we want him to be like a drill sergeant with us?

You know, what level of intensity do we want him to give us? And I will say he is incredibly, incredibly encouraging all the time. And he just hits the same mark with us every single time.

It’s very repetitive.

But I feel like I think we both really learn a lot every time we sit down and have a conversation with him over the phone.

it’s it’s he keeps pushing us to go further and he can recognize when we’re afraid to do something and he’ll give us a little bit of grace but that next week he’s drilling us again like pushing us to go harder. Our no -brainer offer

is we are offering your first clean for a dollar.

And that sounds absolutely insane.

It even sounded insane when I was talking over it with our business coach. And I would tell you that that has generated some of our hugest clients. I mean, that has been like a game changer because it opened up the door to more clients, more recommendations, more leads.

And we were surprised how far that Dollar Clean got us. How important has it been for you to work out that scripting?

Even though you offer a dollar for the first clean, how important has it been for you to nail that down?

It’s been really important, because it kind of, it hones in, so that you’re not just all over the place when you’re trying to explain what it is that you do. And a lot of times, it’s like you’re a good person offering a good product, and you have integrity, and you want to communicate that. But when you go to communicate without a script or without practice, it’s just like, a mess coming out of your mouth, as opposed to having this, you know, honed in practice where you know what you’re going to say, you know how you’re going to say it, and you can almost expect better results when you do it that way. Had you ever been an entrepreneur before starting this particular business? No, never. Did you ever think about wanting to own your own business someday?

Or what was the first time you thought, you know, maybe I would like to open my own business? Absolutely.

I’ve probably been dreaming about it for about 10 years. Okay. And let me go to your daughter here. Uh, had you ever thought about wanting to team up and open your own business or was that something that you were maybe excited about or not, not so much? Well, for me, my parents would always listen to your podcast and business podcast. And as I started listening to them, I started realizing that I wanted to

own a business. It’s www . WhistleWhileYouClean . com. Honestly, the hardest thing was getting over the fear. It was the fear of the unknown.

It was there was like a cloud of doubt that, you know, you can’t do this.

You’re going to fail. There was a few sleepless nights there when we did pull the trigger and join your team and start the coaching process. Even my husband put a little bit of pressure on me from time to time because it just it was just absolutely scary to take that jump and actually start a business. You’re an entrepreneur. I’m an entrepreneur. And as they say in stoic, the obstacle is the way.

And so if you let you let these pinheads get in your way, you’re in trouble. Octononverba is the motto of the U . S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kingspoint, New York. I had appointments with Naval Academy and Kingspoint Merchant Marine Academy, and Merchant Marine Academy’s motto was Octononverba. In other words, don’t listen to what a person says, watch what they do.

Clay, my honor, my honor to be on your show, and thank you for all you do. I hear The ripple effects from you are good ripple effects. You know what I mean? People rave about what they learn from you. My name is Kevin Thomas and the name of our company is MultiClean.

We are a commercial janitorial service and we serve the entire state of Oklahoma and Kansas and soon to be Arkansas. We have probably grown probably five times. We’ve added, I think when we first started with you, we had 60 to 65 employees. And now we have a little over 300 employees.

Before we got involved with Thrive Time, we didn’t really have any systems or processes in place. I’ve probably been to, oh, in six, seven years, I’ve probably been to 12 to 13 business conferences.

And amazingly, each time I go, I learn something new and I’m so excited to bring it back and show the team about marketing and how to help you guys implement the SEO.

And the coaching is just great because there’s accountability. And it’s just a fantastic way to grow your company. Having a relationship with Thrive Time, it’s just been amazing for multi -claim.

Oh my goodness, it frees me up because then I don’t have to take a class on search engine optimization or learn marketing or shoot video.

That’s not what we do.

What we do is commercial janitorial service. And you guys were the experts on marketing.

teach me and hold my hand and show me how to do it right. And therefore, now my company is much, much larger. a man that we consider to be a friend of the Thrive Time Show and a friend of mine. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the show. Kevin, welcome onto the Thrive Time Show.

How are you, sir?

Clay, I’m doing great.

Had a great Christmas holiday, and I’m glad to be here. OK, so first question, can you tell us what is your name, first and last name, and what’s the name of your company, sir?

My name is Kevin Thomas, and the name of our company is MultiClean. We are a commercial janitorial service, and we serve the entire state of Oklahoma. and Kansas, and soon to be Arkansas. And how long have we worked with you approximately at this point, sir? It’s been about six, seven years. Clay Clark is here somewhere.

Where’s my buddy Clay? Clay’s the greatest. I met his goats today. I met his dogs. I met his chickens.

I saw his compound.

He’s like the greatest guy. I ran from his goats, his chickens, his dogs.

So this guy’s like the greatest marketer you’ve ever seen, right? His entire life, Clay Clark, his entire life is marketing. thousand percent from February to February. Now, I can better that. OK, Clay, I don’t think you know this. I don’t think you know this.

They show up five o ‘clock, bright -haired, bushy -tailed and all this, and they’re on fire. Your group is on fire. So that’s what was unclear.

This technology, you tell your group, I was so, so impressed because, like I said, studies became a bad word. I got into fights in my own company because our staff didn’t want to study anymore. And I just, I don’t know how they can’t do that. So Clay, anyway, welcome to the Rich Dad Radio Show. That’s what I wanna talk to you about, is how do you do it? Five o ‘clock in the morning, you have hundreds of people showing up in your huge, huge, huge auditorium on your property to study.

Anyway, welcome to the show, Clay, and what turns you on so much? That’s what I wanna know. Give us a little bit about your background. My name is Karima Scofield, and the name of our company is Whistle While You Clean. I am Sophia Scofield. We live in Cincinnati, Ohio, and we service the tri -state.

So Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana. We were getting a phone call and we were like, why is someone calling our business line? That’s unusual. And we picked it up and it was a lead. I mean, it’s, it’s been incredible, Clay. It’s, we’ve had like, we’ve gone from zero to like a hundred percent growth.

Like we’re like a full functioning company. It’s great. Like we were blown away at how well we’re doing. So working with you guys, you guys have really taught us a lot about generating leads and pursuing our dream 100. So we have a list of customers that we want to market to. And so we’ve been making phone calls, we’ve been showing up in person, we’re trying to get near the businesses that they would visit if they were visiting like a hair salon or something.

And then we start calling them and we just start pursuing them. And then the other thing that we do is when we do do cleans, we take a lot of video testimonials and we post those to our website so other customers can see. And then we also upload a lot of images of the things that we do. And so, We’re also asking our clients for Google reviews after we’ve cleaned their houses. And so it’s this constant cycle of doing those things over and over and over again. I would say if you’re on the fence, go to one of Clay’s conferences.

They are hilarious. They’re fun. They’re educational. They’re so good that even my teenagers like them. And I would say, don’t let fear hold you back. If you want to start a business, do the obvious thing and hire someone who knows how to run businesses.

If I wanted to get in shape, I’d hire a gym person, you know, a personal trainer. This is like the personal training for business.

It has been absolutely amazing. I mean, our coach is encouraging.

When he first met with us he said, Do we want him to be like a drill sergeant with us? You know, what level of intensity do we want him to give us? And I will say he is incredibly, incredibly encouraging all the time.

And he just hits the same mark with us every single time.

It’s very repetitive, but I feel like I think we both really learn a lot every time we sit down and have a conversation with him over the phone.

It’s it’s he keeps pushing us to go further and he can recognize when we’re afraid to do something and he’ll give us a little bit of grace. But that next week, he’s drilling us again, like pushing us to go harder.

Our no brainer offer is we are offering your first clean for a dollar.

And that sounds absolutely insane.

It even sounded insane when it was talking over it with our business coach. And I will tell you that that has generated some of our hugest clients.

And as I started listening to them, I started realizing that I wanted to own a business.

Even my husband put a little bit of pressure on me from time to time because it just it was just absolutely scary to take that jump. and actually start a business.
