My name is Roy Cogshall. I’m from Tulsa, Oklahoma. I also have a place in Marina Del Rey, California. Actually, I am a client of Thrivetime and Clay’s helped me move the numbers on two of my businesses. One of my friends was his client and he helped his marketing go up 1200% in three months, so that’s how I got hooked up with Thrive and Clay Clark. I’ve got two automotive businesses and I’m a technician by trade, so this is a whole new field for me, so really enjoying to learn about people and about marketing, systems, and processes. I’m a seat-of-the-pants guy, so it is totally out of my wheelhouse, but I know it’s the truth, so I’m enjoying learning that. I know my businesses will scale from here with the help of the business coaching for mechanics program. It’s an upbeat, get-it-done team. They will move the needle. One of the most powerful things what he (Clay) does here is the coaching part, ’cause I don’t want to be the goof every week, so I’m going to get my stuff done and so really the accountability of actually having to talk to somebody a week about what you’ve done every week, is vital to moving the needle and getting your business where it needs to be. Clay is awesome. You will laugh a lot and there’s no bull, there’s no salesmanship. He just tells you the truth and he knows what he’s talking about.Â
All of the business coaching for mechanics program is so good. They teach how to hire. I like to hire good people, and so I have, all my businesses are based on good people, not processes, so I’m in the process of changing that. I’ve made two hires in the last two weeks that as changed everything and one of them is right over here, my new manager, and so he came to the business conference with me. A favorite part again is the Clay show. Listening to Clay. I love Clay and I love his personality and his candor. That’s my favorite part. You’re missing out on an opportunity to move your business to a whole other level and you’ve heard that so many times, but he actually gives you the roadmap out. I was stuck, didn’t know what to do and he gave me the roadmap out, step-by-step, this week we do this and next week we do this and next week we do this and it’s just moved me right out of my problems. So thankful for Thrive 15, Clay Clark and they’ve helped me tremendously. Well, just to see what’s out there and what’s available as helping tools for you. Me, again, coming as a technician, no business background, no training, just changed the way I see the whole business and the picture that I’ve got of it. I encourage everybody to attend this workshop.

“I have hope again for my future”
I’m Guy Shepherd with Shepherd Automotive here in Oklahoma City. I just want to thank Eric, Clay, and the whole Thrive business coaching for mechanics team for all the help that I’ve received for my business. I was in a really tough place when I found Thrive. I wasn’t making money. I was working as hard as I knew how to work, just not on the right things. The business has changed in the last several years and I had not kept up. I didn’t know how I didn’t know what to do. I’m on a good track now. Eric is doing a great job coaching me. I’m real excited about all the stuff that we’re doing, and I have hope. I have hope again for my future, that I can and will succeed and get back to making money, getting back to a more pleasant place in life, and being able to continue to provide the service that I love providing with my customers.
