(Speaker 23)
Dude, let’s go.
(Speaker 1)
Wow, I swear, we did not rehearse that at all. That was incredible.
(Speaker 2)
I wanna ask you the same question. Coachability, you know, you write music. So you write a song, you’re excited about it, it’s a new melody, a new lyric, a new something. But you also sit down with writers, and maybe writers who you think are better than you
(Speaker 2)
or as good as you, and there’s some coaching that happens. What’s your thoughts on coachability? How do you approach being coachable, but also being confident?
(Speaker 1)
Yeah, actually was looking up that verse that you just spoke on, it’s in Proverbs. It says, a fool despises his father’s instruction, but he who regards reproof as prudent. So that applies to a lot of different areas.
(Speaker 1)
But basically, those who are willing to have someone give them instruction and even correction, they’re gonna be prudent for it. So when it comes to songwriting, I much prefer to write with people who are, most people are better songwriters than me.
(Speaker 1)
They do it five days a week at least, and I’m like, yeah, let’s get in the room with this person and with this person. And what’s so cool, 2020 especially was working a lot with Clay on a weekly basis. At that time, a lot of the people I wrote with were scared to death
(Speaker 1)
to be in a room together with one another. So we would do call, FaceTime calls and Zoom calls or whatever. But something amazing happens when you’re in the room with someone who’s like-minded, who is further along in the process than you are. You start to pick up on things that you didn’t know, but they also help you to become better.
(Speaker 1)
It’s like even in a spiritual sense, this applies to marriage, but I heard someone say, if you want to do more for the kingdom, stay single. Right? You don’t have to filter as many things through someone else, but if you wanna look more like Jesus, get married.
(Speaker 1)
I think the same applies to a coach, right? If you wanna be the best version of yourself that you could possibly be, get a coach. And if you just want to go out and blindly do a bunch of stuff in your field, don’t have
(Speaker 22)
a coach.
(Speaker 1)
Can I build another song for you as the last song? So one of my favorite Bible verses of all time is Jeremiah 29 11. It says, for I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you, not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future. I believe that God has really big plans for you.
(Speaker 1)
I believe he’s got them for me too, and guess what? I believe that plan starts right now. So we’re gonna do something and I really need you, okay? It doesn’t happen until three quarters of the way through the song, but I’m gonna need you to scream the word now.
(Speaker 1)
We’re gonna try it, okay? I’m gonna count to four and you’re gonna scream the word now, okay? Are we gonna do this? Yeah, okay, cool. So one, two, three, four.

Man, He gave me a voice to sing and gave me a desire and a little gift in learning music, so I have put in the work and the hours to get to a place where I can do that and communicate that to people, but the goal is the message.

So, Aaron, you’ve been to many of these over the past seven, eight years. So let’s talk about it. I’ll tee up the thing and then you tell me what you’re going to learn here, okay? Okay.
(Speaker 2)
You’re going to learn marketing, marketing and branding. What are we going to learn about marketing and branding? Oh, yeah. like the Trump brand, right? You want to get that brand out there. It’s like, how do I actually make people know what my business is and make it a household name? You’re going to learn some intricacies
(Speaker 17)
of how you can do that.
(Speaker 2)
You’re going to learn sales. So many people struggle to sell something. This just in, your business will go to hell if you can’t sell. So we’re going to teach you sales. We’re going to teach you search engine optimization, how to come up top in the search engine results. We’re going to teach you how to manage people.
(Speaker 2)
Aaron, you have managed, no exaggeration, hundreds of people throughout your career and thousands of contractors, and most people struggle with managing people. Why does everybody have to learn how to manage people? Well, because first of all, you either have great people
(Speaker 2)
or you have people who suck. And so it can be a challenge. You know, learning how to work with a large group of people and get everybody pulling in the same direction can be a challenge. But if you have the right systems, you have the right processes, and you’re really good at selecting great ones, and we have a process we teach about how to find great people.
(Speaker 2)
When you start with the people who have a great attitude, they’re teachable, they’re driven, all of those things, then you can get those people all pulling in the same direction. So we’re going to teach you branding, marketing, sales, search engine optimization. We’re going to teach you accounting. We’re going to teach you personal finance, how to manage your finance. We’re going to teach you time management.
(Speaker 2)
How do you manage your time? How do you get more done during a typical day? How do you build an organization if you’re not organized? How do you do organization? How do you build an org chart? Everything that you need to know to start
(Speaker 2)
and grow a business will be taught during this two-day interactive business workshop. Now let me tell you how the format is set up here. And again, folks, this is a two-day interactive 15. Think about this, folks. It’s two days. Each day starts at 7 AM, and it goes until 5 PM.
(Speaker 2)
So from 7 AM to 5 PM, two days. It’s a two-day interactive workshop. The way we do it is we do a 30-minute teaching session, and then we break for 15 minutes for a question and answer session. So Aaron, what kind of great stuff happens during that 15 minute question and answer session after every teaching session?
(Speaker 2)
I actually think it’s the best part about the workshops because here’s what happens. I’ve been to lots of these things over the years. I’ve paid many thousands of dollars to go to them. And you go in there and they talk in vague generalities and they’re constantly upselling you for something,
(Speaker 2)
trying to get you to buy this thing or that thing or this program or this membership. And you don’t, you leave not getting your very specific questions answered about your business or your employees or what you’re doing on your marketing. And what’s awesome about this is we literally answer
(Speaker 2)
every single question that any person asks. And it’s very specific to what your business is. And what we do is we allow you as the attendee to write your questions on the whiteboard. And then we literally, as you mentioned, we answer every single question on the whiteboard.
(Speaker 2)
And then we take a 15 minute break to stretch and to make it entertaining when you’re stretching. And this is a true story. When you get up and stretch, you’ll be greeted by mariachis. There’s going to probably be alpaca here, llamas, helicopter rides, a coffee bar, a snow cone. I mean, there’s just- You had a crocodile one time.
(Speaker 17)
That was pretty interesting.
(Speaker 2)
You know, I should write that down.
(Speaker 17)
Sorry for that one guy that we lost.
(Speaker 2)
The crocodile, we duct taped its face. So that, right?
(Speaker 16)
We duct taped-
(Speaker 2)
No, it was a baby crocodile. And we duct taped it. It was a baby crocodile. And we duct taped. Yeah, duct taped around the mouth so it didn’t bite anybody. But it was really cool to pass that thing around and pet it. I should do that. I should do that. We have a small petting zoo that will be assembled.
(Speaker 2)
It’s going to be great. And then you’re in the company of hundreds of entrepreneurs. So there’s not a lot with 350 million people that means you have less than three percent of our population that’s even self-employed. So it’s you only have three out of every hundred people in America that are self-employed to begin with and when Inc. Magazine reports that 96% of businesses fail by default, by
(Speaker 2)
default you have a one out of a thousand chance of succeeding in the game of business. But yet the average client that you and I work with, we can typically double this. No hyperbole, no exaggeration. I have thousands of testimonials to back this up. We have thousands of testimonials to back it up. But when you work with a home builder, when I work with a business owner, we can typically double the size of the company within 24 months. Yeah. Double. And you say double? Yeah, there’s businesses that we have tripled. There’s businesses we’ve grown 8x. There’s so many examples you can see at thrivetimeshow.com.
