(Speaker 1)
If you design something, keep iterating until they love it. And don’t stop improving until that one person loves it. And you’re not allowed to get the second person until the first person loves it. And then you get the second person. And you keep iterating until they love it.

(Speaker 1)
And then the third person. And what ends up happening is two things. One, you design this perfect experience, which is a different part of your mind than the industrial part of your mind that has to figure out how to scale this. And the second thing is when people love your service, they become your marketing department.

(Speaker 1)
They tell other people. So the first day Y Combinator, they give you this T-shirt. And on the T-shirt, it says, make something people want. And we thought, what if we went even further, make something people love. And so we’ve now done these exercises. We had this process I named after the movie Snow White.

(Speaker 1)
I learned that Walt Disney in 1937 created Snow White. It was one of the first uses of the storyboard because it was like this really long feature-length animated movie. And he storyboarded the experience. And I thought to myself, what if we storyboard the perfect experience of Airbnb?

(Speaker 1)
We actually hired Pixar storyboard artists to do this. And then we, what we like to do is like pick one frame of the experience. So the moment of truth in Airbnb is when you check in, right? You’re like, is this going to be what I think it is? And there’s a really bad version of check in,

(Speaker 1)
like the host didn’t show up. And there’s kind of a good version of a check-in. They showed up. But we wanted to think to ourself, what would make the experience something people love? And so we created this exercise. We thought, like you know when you go on Airbnb, this is also true Uber, like a five star mostly means like nothing bad happened.

(Speaker 1)
And we thought, well what if there was like a six star? What would that be when you check into your Airbnb? And the six star is you get to your Airbnb and, you know, there’s like a bottle of wine waiting on a table and there’s like some fruit and they like have a handwritten note to you. And like, okay, that’s like really nice. And then I thought, well, what would a seven star experience be?

(Speaker 1)
A seven star experience is they get a limo, they pick you up at the airport, and there’s this like whole curated experience. You get to the house, and they know you like surfing, and there’s a surfboard there waiting for you and all that stuff. So then I thought, what would an eight-star experience be like? An eight-star experience, you get to the airport,

(Speaker 1)
there’s a giant elephant, and you get on the elephant, and there’s a parade in your honor, and you go to your Airbnb. So what would a nine-star experience be? The nine-star experience is the Beatles check-in. You land, and there’s 5,000 teenagers cheering your name, and you get to your Airbnb, you have to do a press conference

(Speaker 1)
in the front lawn. So, what’s a 10-star experience? Keep going. A 10-star experience, you show up, and Elon Musk says, we’re going to space. And you do get back eventually.

(Speaker 1)
And the point of this story is that you maybe can’t make an 8, nine, or ten star experience. But most people try to design something that’s just good enough. But if you can add that six or seven star, if you can design something really amazing, and you use the part of your brain, the handcrafted part of your brain to create that perfect experience, then you can reverse engineer how to industrialize this millions of times over.

(Speaker 1)
And what happens is people love your product, and they tell everyone else about your product.

(Speaker 5)
Some shows don’t need a celebrity narrator to introduce the show. But this show does. In a world filled with endless opportunities, why would two men who have built 13 multimillion dollar businesses altruistically invest five hours per day

(Speaker 5)
to teach you the best practice business systems and moves that you can use. Because they believe in you and they have a lot of time on their hands. They started from the bottom, now they’re here. It’s the Thrive Time Show starring the former US Small Business Administration’s Entrepreneur of the Year, Clay Clark, and the entrepreneur trapped inside an optometrist’s body, Dr. Robert Zunder.

(Speaker 5)
Two men, eight kids, co-created by two different women, 13 multimillion dollar businesses.

(Speaker 12)
We started from the bottom, now we’re here.

(Speaker 3)
We started from the bottom, and we’ll show you how to get here. time million dollar businesses. Break down the books, seeds bringing some wisdom and the good looks. As the father of five, that’s why I’m alive. So if you see my wife and kids, please tell them hi. It’s the C and Z up on your radio. And now, 3, 2, 1, here we go.

(Speaker 12)
We started from the bottom, now we’re here. We started from the bottom, and we’ll show you how to get here. Started from the bottom, now we here. We started from the bottom, now we here. We started from the bottom, now we here. We started from the bottom, and we’ll show you how to get here. Started from the bottom, now we here.

(Speaker 9)
Walking Tiberius was the number one problem for me. He would pull me. If you could picture a cartoon character flying behind their dog, that would be me. And he pulled my shoulder out of the socket last time I took him to the vet. So I really struggled with that.

(Speaker 9)
I dreaded ever taking him to the vet because of that. So now he’s able to walk with me on the leash and not pull me, and that is wonderful. He wouldn’t drop stuff if he got it in his mouth. He would be very resistant to putting it down.

(Speaker 2)
And it had been like six weeks since you had walked him last because you were scared to walk him, that’s right?

(Speaker 9)
Yes. Yes. Because my shoulder is still healing from being pulled out of the socket. And he just gets so excited. He thinks everybody’s there to see him and he’s there to see them. Now I can walk him and make him listen to me

(Speaker 9)
when I tell him not to pull.

(Speaker 5)
Perfect.

(Speaker 2)
And would you recommend this to friends and family?

(Speaker 9)
Absolutely 100%.

(Speaker 2)
If there’s anyone on the fence about using Make Your Dog Epic, what would you, do you have any words for them?

(Speaker 9)
I say Make Your dog epic is amazing. I love the way our experience went with JT, you. I feel like you’re very energetic and you just make it happy. You make it feel good what we’re doing. And Tiberius has come home just himself, only a better version.

(Speaker 2)
Welcome to the Epic World of Dog Training. I am JT Lawson. I am the lead trainer at Make Your Dog Epic. I also own the Oklahoma locations for Make Your Dog Epic where we turn your canine companions into truly epic dogs. Get ready for your daily doses of wisdom as we tackle your questions and unleash the secrets

(Speaker 2)
to mastering dog training. As always, our goal is to gain obedience but never at the expense of the dog’s personality. Can I have a kiss?

(Speaker 15)
Oh, thank you. Oh, good job. Can I have a kiss? Oh, thank you. Oh, let’s try again. Oh, what?

(Speaker 12)
One more?

(Speaker 2)
No?

(Speaker 12)
Okay.

(Speaker 3)
All right, folks, welcome to the Make Your Dog Epic Podcast. We’re joined here today by Deborah Graham via video on part one of today’s show, JT. This is a wonderful client. You had the honor to serve. We had the honor to work with here.

(Speaker 3)
And I just wanted to take a moment and see if you could tell us a little bit more about Deborah and what it was like to train with her dog.

(Speaker 2)
Yeah, her dog is Tiberius, a Rottweiler, and he is like a hundred and something pounds and he is pulling Her through the street. He she took him to the veterinarian and he literally pulled her arm out of the socket I get there for yes, so that’s what he looks like. He looks and he’s he’s awesome. Like he’s super friend How big is this guy? He’s big. He’s over a hundred pounds. I don’t know exactly Actually, I probably have it here in the big. He’s over 100 pounds. I don’t know exactly. Actually, I probably have it here in the notes.

(Speaker 2)
He, yeah, is like 105 pounds.

(Speaker 3)
Wow.

(Speaker 2)
And so he pulls. So I get there for the first lesson, because our first lesson is 50 cents. And I get there, and mom’s like holding him back. And she’s doing the best she can, but he’s big. She’s holding this dog?

(Speaker 2)
Yeah, he’s holding that. She’s holding that dog, and she hasn’t been able to take him on a walk for like six weeks because he has been pulling nonstop. And so she said her shoulder was still injured just from holding him away from the door because he’s so big. And he’s a super loving dog.

(Speaker 2)
He’s just smiles all the time. Literally, he has a smile on his face all the time. But he’s just happy to see everyone. But he thinks everyone is the same size as him. So he thinks he can jump on all of them. So that’s what they’ve been dealing with.

(Speaker 3)
Now, so you, now just let’s walk through the mechanics of this, because I think people need to know how this works. Somebody, I’m not asking for their home address, but were they in Broken Arrow or Tulsa or Owosso, or where were they looking for doctors? It’s a neighbor in Tulsa. OK. So a lot of times people, they go to Google, and they type in a WASO dog training.

(Speaker 3)
I encourage everybody to do this yourself. And they’re looking around. They’re like, I don’t know who to call. I mean, this guy’s got 28 reviews. This guy’s got 470 reviews. This guy’s got 839.

(Speaker 3)
I don’t know who I’m going to call. You know what I is they’re calling usually the top three. So we usually we get the call because we’re the highest rated most reviewed, but usually they call somebody else too.

(Speaker 3)
So we understand we’re competing for your business. We wanna earn your business. So you go to the website and you go, the first lesson is 50 cents. You guys have the most reviews. You’re doing a money back guarantee. If I book with you,

(Speaker 3)
I have a chance to win a dream vacation to Hawaii. You got video reviews everywhere. You do the revolutionary focused based positive reinforcement training. Fastest turnaround time. What’s the catch?

(Speaker 3)
I mean, that’s kind of what I would think they would. So when you met this wonderful couple, what kind of question are they asking you right away?

(Speaker 22)
What does that look like?

(Speaker 2)
They’re asking a lot of questions. So, and they’re all good questions, but they’re asking like, well, why are you a good dog trainer? Or what is your experience in training dogs? Or what will, these are our issues. because kind of how it works is I get there, that first lesson’s 50 cents. Yeah. So some reason they’ve reached out.

(Speaker 2)
Either they saw us at an Oilers game, a Drillers game, they saw us at some event, or they just looked us up on Google.

(Speaker 32)
Yeah.

(Speaker 2)
And now we come to their house, we meet them for that first lesson. And then my first thing is I want

(Speaker 3)
to find out as much, and I need to learn about their dogs. And I’m starting to belabor this. I just want to know. I’m probably over curious on this. But with this particular couple, they said they want to book an appointment. Are you meeting people during the day, Monday through Friday? Is this a Monday through Saturday operation?

(Speaker 3)
Are you doing mornings? Are you doing afternoons?

(Speaker 2)
Because a lot of dog trainers I kind of a regular hours. What kind of hours are you and your team willing to meet somebody? Yeah, just all the time. So we’ll for sure meet Monday through Saturday, and then as early as 7 AM, and then as late as like 9 PM. But we are a 24 hour operation because we have boarding school.

(Speaker 3)
OK, so OK, sorry to interrupt there. But so you’re going to meet these people at their house? Yes.

(Speaker 15)
OK.

(Speaker 2)
Yep. Sorry to interrupt there, but so you’re going to meet these people at their house. Yes. Okay. Yep. And then my goal is to figure out as much about them and their dog, because I want to tell them what it’ll take to get their dog to their goals. Because every dog is different and everyone’s goals are different. So I don’t want to put my goals onto them.

(Speaker 2)
I have to figure out what it’ll take to get their dog to their goals. Then I tell them about us because I don’t know how much they already knew about us previously. Maybe they just saw that we had the most reviews and they thought, well, might as well have them come out just 50 cents. Right. So they have to tell them about us. Then I show them, we always show them one of our dogs. Because in dog training world, your dog is kind of your diploma, showing that you know what you do works.

(Speaker 3)
I also hear feedback consistently. People comment on the energy of our sales team. They comment on, we really like the energy you guys brought. You heard it from them. We like the energy. We like the enthusiasm.

(Speaker 3)
We like the momentum. We like the motivation. We like the, and we’re not motivational speakers. You’re, you know, we have dog trainers, but I hear that all the time. Talk to me about the mindset that you have when you meet with somebody.

(Speaker 3)
Are you coming in there? I mean, is it good energy? Because again, we’ve all had the condescending doctor. We’ve all seen the condescending chiropractor, the condescending trainer. What kind of energy are you guys bringing?

(Speaker 2)
Yeah, well, I am under the impression that no one is going to be more excited about their dog than I am. Got it. Because I am, I genuinely am super excited because you can change lives through this. Like, she can’t take her dog for a walk. Right. And then now that she’s get, now that she has training, she can take her dog wherever because she got her, because she wanted to go on, she got her Tiberius because she wanted to go on walks,

(Speaker 2)
but she didn’t want to walk alone. And so now, but now she got Tiberius and now Tiberius is pulling her wherever. So now what she thought was going to be some of the best moments turn into some of the worst moments.

(Speaker 2)
And so now I get to come in and instead of, not saying they would have, but instead of, in a lot of these cases, they’re stuck with rehoming the dog or they have to put a dog down because of behavioral issues. And again, they probably wouldn’t have, but I get to prevent that. So I’m genuinely super excited to meet them. So I know a lot of other dog trainers that I’ve shadowed and gone through, they tell you like, you need to match energy, you need to bring it down.

(Speaker 2)
You need to match the energy. Yeah. You need to mirror them. You have to do all of this stuff. And it’s like, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, listen, I’m gonna, I’m gonna share a story

(Speaker 2)
about crazy dog trainer stuff I’ve seen in my life. And then you can one up me.

(Speaker 31)
Okay.

(Speaker 3)
Now I’m gonna be very real right now. I want everyone to look me up. I want everyone to go to thrivetimeshow.com, look it up. I’ve worked with dog groomers. I’ve worked with dog trainers. Basically people pay me to help them grow their business. So I’ve worked with cabinet builders, home remodelers. I’ve worked with dentists, you know it. And you can see there’s 160 clients, huge clients

(Speaker 3)
like Hewlett Packard, Maytag, O’Reilly Auto Parts. Yeah, and it’s 160 a month. Yeah, 160 clients we work with ongoing. 160 clients, right? So I’ve interviewed, I’m just saying this for context. I’ve interviewed the Wolfgang Puck. I’ve interviewed John Maxwell. I’ve interviewed, you just insert the name of Damon John Fubu.

(Speaker 3)
Just drop the name. I’ve interviewed him, OK?

(Speaker 30)
Yeah.

(Speaker 3)
The guy who invented paychecks. I interviewed him. I mean, you know. What’s the cold guy, the ice guy? Wim Hof. Wim Hof, the ice guy. There’s so many people. And I interviewed these people, NFL players. And when I interview these people, NBA players, I interview them. I mean, I hear some great moves and I’ve met some great entrepreneurs

(Speaker 3)
and I’ve met some shady people that have shown up at my business workshops who’ve taught me some shady, they’ve said, hey, here’s a shady sales move you should teach at your conference.

(Speaker 15)
And I say, no.

(Speaker 3)
By far the shadiest sales moves that I’ve ever encountered, that I’ve ever heard people pitch are in the used car industry, no offense to used car dealers out there, and the dog trainers. Because the dog trainers, now you can tell me, shh, Clay, you’re making this up. I’m going to tell you, this is the story I’ve heard. A dog trainer tells me, we have a move.

(Speaker 10)
We do.

(Speaker 3)
I say, what’s the move you do? He says, what’s the move? We want to match the energy. We call this the compassion. We want to connect with compassion. So we meet with a person We say we have five packages or eight packages, whatever.

(Speaker 3)
Choose a package. And then if the customer says no, we want to mirror the energy. And we want to pause and go, well, what’s your main concern? And then they’re going to say, and then we’re going to say, so what’s your dog worth to you?

(Speaker 3)
And I’m going, you don’t do this. I do. It’s like, this is like, they’re bringing the funeral energy to the dog business, which is weird because we have a really great energy and it should be a positive experience. And I go, what are you doing?

(Speaker 27)
What are you doing?

(Speaker 3)
And they go, I say, so you love your dog? Yeah, I do. Then they said, they couldn’t afford it. And so they didn’t hire us. And we found out just that the dog got hit by a car and the dog got hit by the car because the person didn’t care enough about the dog.

(Speaker 3)
And they’re saying this to a customer.

(Speaker 2)
No, they are. And they’re going, so How much is your dog worth is your dog not worth $3,000? Yeah, well, they’re like it’s because this is a real thing. So they’re like no it’s to this does your dog come on command? No, no doesn’t come on. No, so if it gets out the front door, what’s gonna happen and they’re trying to like

(Speaker 3)
Lead them down the trail and furthermore and for that way be that, these are all things I’ve been told by dog trainers, this is a move. They also do a face, where the face is sort of like, it’s this weird, they call it posturing, where they actually will look at the person and go, so do you like your dog? And they do this, I can’t even make the face right, you know what I’m saying though? And they teach posturing. Now I wanna tell you what posturing is. Posturing is where the way you stand,

(Speaker 3)
it’s the way you, and it’s a whole thing about, so do you care about your dog? And they do this face, they do, do you care about your dog? It’s like watching, I’m not gonna get political, but I’m talking about? It’s weird, it’s weird, it’s a weird deal.

(Speaker 3)
And then, and then the third move, these are all moves I’ve been taught, this will not happen at Make Your Dog Epic, is it’s the go to your car move, but don’t leave. Just say you gotta go to your car. So you just go to your car and you just, and I’m listening to a man explain to his sales team, this is a move.

(Speaker 3)
You need to go to the car and stay in the car and don’t leave the car. Just tell the customer, hey, I’m gonna let you guys discuss it, but I have to go to my car real quick.

(Speaker 2)
And you just stay there for a while to let the energy shift. Then you come back in and you don’t leave the house unless they pay you or yell at you. Yeah. This is a real thing. I’ve been told it’s like bringing a, it’s like bringing a timeshare salesman. I know we’re losing all the business of the timeshare salespeople that are watching this. I’m sure there’s a ton of timeshare salespeople that are watching this, that are saying, well,

(Speaker 2)
I was going to hire you. Now you’ve given all my dirty secrets, but it’s like the time you know I’m talking about no I do yeah it’s gross road bro it’s rough it’s bad unintended isn’t it bad no it’s rough it is rough but that is funny but isn’t that isn’t that bad no it is bad no really come on that’s what but that’s legitimately what people do they’re like all over the country they say hey one they’re like they pull up the well how much are vet bills if your dog doesn’t stop eating those socks?

(Speaker 2)
Or how much is it going to cost when your dog chews up the couch?

(Speaker 3)
Fear-based sales.

(Speaker 2)
Yeah, and literally, they do fear-based training and fear-based sales.

(Speaker 3)
And that’s how they do it. I think it’s satanic. Now, somebody else says, but the, says God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of the spirit of power and love and of a sound mind. And in the Bible, there’s 365 times that the Bible tells you don’t have the spirit of fear.

(Speaker 3)
So what does it say about selling with the spirit of fear?

(Speaker 2)
Yeah.

(Speaker 3)
I’m gonna, is it okay if I do the make your dog epic sales pitch? Let’s pretend like you’re the customer, okay? I just did the dog demo. Obviously I’m not as handsome as these people, not as nice as these people, but this is the exact, you’re, I’m doing the best I can.

(Speaker 3)
You’re the customer, okay? You’re just as beautiful as these people. I’m a sales guy, I’m not as handsome as you, So Mr. Lawson, training today, did you get a chance, do you kind of like our approach?

(Speaker 2)
Yeah, I mean, I do. I mean, it worked. I mean, he’s doing great. I mean, it’s honestly kind of incredible.

(Speaker 3)
Well, ultimately, I mean, we have to ultimately sell something or I become homeless. And so let me just say our packages. We have three packages we get to choose from and we have package A that’s designed for these moves here. So you want to teach your dog these moves, move A, B, C. We got package B, where you want to teach your dog some more

(Speaker 24)
moves.

(Speaker 3)
You want to teach your dog beyond just the basics. You want to teach your dog the basics plus some more moves. Then you got package C. And obviously, this is oversimplified, folks. But then you have package C, where you’ve got even more moves. to do incredible tricks. You want to teach your dog to make a show dog. You want to bring your dog to the drillers games with us.

(Speaker 3)
And that’s kind of package C. So most people use package A or package B. We even have scholarships for families in need. We charge this much based upon the breed of your dog and the weight, we choose this much based upon your goals, the weight, the breed,

(Speaker 3)
age of the dog, boom just got a clipboard. We bring it up, we look at it. You go, which package do you want? So let me ask you, so JT, which package do you want?

(Speaker 2)
Package A or B? Probably B.

(Speaker 3)
B. Now let’s say that you have an objection about price, OK? I’m telling you folks, this is the sales moves we’re going to do. Is that OK? It’s called transparency. You ready? Here we go. So yeah, so you wanna do package A, B, or C?

(Speaker 2)
I don’t know if I can afford those.

(Speaker 3)
You know what? We’ve got a scholarship plan in need, a scholarship plan for people in need. So pretend for a second the dog training was free. Would you use this if it was free?

(Speaker 2)
Yeah, yeah, absolutely.

(Speaker 3)
Okay, well, here’s scholarship, and it’s X amount. We have a discount to help families in need. And all I would ask is when we’re done, if you’d be willing to share with us a video testimonial about your experience or leave us a Google review, I would greatly appreciate it.

(Speaker 10)
Deal.

(Speaker 3)
That’s it. Now let’s say that there’s a really tough financial need.

(Speaker 22)
You ready?

(Speaker 29)
Yeah.

(Speaker 3)
OK. Ready? Yep. Okay. So, would that scholarship price work for you?

(Speaker 2)
I don’t think I can. No, it’s still too much.

(Speaker 3)
Okay. And in my desire to not be homeless, the final option I’ve got for you is we have a payment plan. So you basically take the payment, the amount we’re quoting you on the scholarship and you just make payments over time.

(Speaker 3)
Okay. And I can go as far as six months on that, would that work for you? That’d work. And that’s it. Yeah. There’s no tears. There’s no arguing. There’s no arguing. No discussion of funerals. We’re not making the face of like, we’re not doing the, we’re not doing the,

(Speaker 28)
you know what I mean?

(Speaker 3)
We’re not doing that. We’re not hard negotiation. We’re not doinging the way that you move so that you know that. We don’t change our personality. We’re not going to show up at your dog lesson and be an enthusiastic person, and you meet us at Reesers and we’re a silent monk who doesn’t speak to people. We hire authentically, upbeat, motivated people.

(Speaker 3)
Yes. JT, I could not be more excited, but tell everybody out there, if they want to move forward right now and schedule that first lesson, tell us be more excited, but tell everybody out there, if they want to move forward right now and schedule that first lesson, tell us one more time, why should everybody schedule that first lesson

(Speaker 3)
at makeyourdogepic.com? Especially if you’re looking for a Tulsa dog trainer, Broken Arrow dog trainer, you’re looking for a Tulsa trainer, Wasso dog trainer,

(Speaker 2)
why should everybody use makeyourdogepic.com? Well, for a bunch of reasons first is we charge based on results not number of lessons or amount of time The second is our biggest goal is obedience But never at the expense of the dogs personality because I don’t want to crush your dog’s soul to get it to listen Third is we offer a money-back guarantee So it’s me putting my money where our mouth is saying I know what we do works

(Speaker 2)
And then after that we will will beat any competitor’s price. We do either private lessons where it’s one-on-one training. It’s half dog training, half human training. I’ll let you guys listen. Guess which one’s harder or we do boarding school. We send dog with us, no matter what money bag guarantee would

(Speaker 2)
be any competitors price. You get group class included. Um, you get lifetime phone slash video support. And so that way we are there for the rest of the dog’s life. And on top of that, just for filling out the form, you get internet per chance to win a trip to Hawaii.

(Speaker 3)
It’s all included there. Folks, I’m telling you, and I mean this sincerely, JT’s been to some of the best dog trainers in America. The guy who trained Lassie. Yep. Trained you.

(Speaker 3)
The guy who’s like working at SeaWorld training the sea life, the sea animals there. He’s working with you. You’ve got celebrity dog trainers. Oh, it was Benji, not Lassie. I was blanking. Benji, Benji, Benji. Why did I say Lassie?

(Speaker 27)
I’m the worst.

(Speaker 3)
It’s totally different movies.

(Speaker 26)
Come on.

(Speaker 3)
So Benji, so you worked with Benji. You know, the trainers that have trained you are the best. Yeah. And what you’ve done is you’ve combined really, I would, I mean, I could be wrong on this, but four or five of the best practice training systems in the world. And you’ve combined it to something that is unique to you, a very different approach. And it’s, it really is something you have to see to believe. That’s why we do the first lesson for 50 cents. Cause you

We never want you to have to use another trainer after training with us. Our goal is to teach obedience, but never at the expense of the dog’s personality, because

(Speaker 2)
if we get your dog to listen, but we have to crush its spirit in the process, what’s the point? Our motto is it’s the same dog, but now it’s all ears. You will now have a well behaved dog that you can walk or jog with without it channeling its inner sled dog and pulling you down the street. You will have a dog that won’t bark at the neighbors or potty in the house. You will be entered in for a contest to win a dream trip to Hawaii that we will be giving away every January. Oh, well, whoa, yo, yo, yo.

(Speaker 2)
Take that first step and schedule that first 50 cent lesson at Make Your Dog Epic dot com, Make Your Dog Epic dot com.

(Speaker 10)
I know you’re going to dig this.

(Speaker 4)
Name is Troy Duell and the company is Centurion Health, so you can go to centurion.health and read all about us.

(Speaker 3)
You have an online supplement company, and again, not putting your financials out there for the world to see, but you’ve had some tremendous growth over the past couple of years. What kind of growth have you guys had?

(Speaker 3)
Because again, I wanna fill the minds of our listeners that you could actually do this. What kind of growth have you had over the past couple of years?

(Speaker 4)
Yeah, we at least doubled on our sales and revenue. Centurion started with the idea of providing products that were going to make a difference in people’s lives. Our mission is leading to make life better by providing high quality health care products that are safe, effective, and affordable and made in the USA.

(Speaker 4)
A great example of that is one of our products called Bump DHA. We like to say healthy mom means a healthy baby and that starts with their prenatal care. And what we recognized was with a lot of these women who had multiple miscarriages or had difficulty

(Speaker 4)
getting pregnant, that they had a genetic mutation called MTHFR. And when you have that genetic mutation, it doesn’t allow those nutrients that your baby needs to actually get to them. By providing BumpDHA, we’ve made a difference in thousands of women’s lives. The fact that they were able to get pregnant and to stay pregnant during the whole term was a great thing to

(Speaker 4)
hear because ultimately what big pharmaceutical companies do is they’re just wanting you to come in, take a tablet, go home and hope that you feel better. But what we want to do is we want to provide products that will help you but ultimately understand that it’s you that has to take ownership of your health. Our vision is really to continue to grow our scope and scale.

(Speaker 4)
It’s important for us to make a difference in people’s lives.

(Speaker 3)
Now, what are the most common products that you sell there at the website? So for a lot of our listeners, I mean, we have a lot of listeners, sometimes close to a million listeners a week that will tune in. So for somebody who’s watching this show,

(Speaker 3)
whether the show comes out today or a month from now or a year from now, you’re still going to be doing this. What are the most common products? What are the most common products that you sell or solutions that you sell at Centurion.Health?

(Speaker 1)
Probably our biggest product is a product called Ninja Cough. So it’s a cough medicine because a ninja can’t cough. So obviously you’ve got to stop that cough. That’s our biggest product. And then we also have some organic superfood greens. We have products for cognitive impairment and supplements for ADHD as well to help those kids

(Speaker 1)
who are suffering from ADHD.

(Speaker 10)
Clay, my honor, my honor to be on your show. And thank you for all you do.

(Speaker 3)
I hear the ripple effects from you are good ripple effects.

(Speaker 10)
You know what I mean? People rave about what they learned from you. So congratulations. Talk to non-verbal. In other words, don’t listen to what a person says.

(Speaker 3)
Watch what they do.

(Speaker 25)
Clay Clark is here somewhere.

(Speaker 2)
Where’s my buddy Clay?

(Speaker 15)
Clay, Clay Clark is here somewhere. Where’s my buddy Clay? Clay is the greatest. I met his goats today. I met his dogs. I met his chickens.

(Speaker 10)
I saw his compound.

(Speaker 24)
He’s like the greatest guy.

(Speaker 14)
I ran from his goats, his chickens, his dogs. So this guy is like the greatest marketer you’ve ever seen, right? His entire life, Clay Clark, his entire life is marketing. 4,000% from February to February. we’ve ever seen, right? His entire life, Clay Clark, his entire life is marketing.

(Speaker 8)
4,000% from February to February. Now I can better that, okay? Clay, I don’t think you know this. I don’t think you know this. I’m pinching myself and if I cry, forgive me. In the last two and a half days,

(Speaker 8)
we have bettered our entire month of February in the last two and a half days. So, and the phone’s blowing up, everything’s just blowing up. Well, you’re right, it is like a rocket ship. So we’re pinching ourselves actually.

(Speaker 3)
Okay, Thrive Nation, everybody out there, many people out there, a lot of you out there want to start a successful company. And what we try to do here on the Thrive Time Show is to encourage you that you can nurture that spark. You can water that idea garden.

(Speaker 3)
You can turn your big idea into a big business. And today’s guest is really doing the entrepreneurship thing. He’s doing the four steps. One, he found a problem that the world had. Two, he provided an incredible solution.

(Speaker 3)
Three, he sold the solution at a sustainable win-win shalom relationship with the marketplace. And four, he is scaling it. We’ve had the honor to serve him over the past few years. I’m excited for you to meet him, folks. And without any further ado, we have the founder of the Centurion Supplement Company, Troy, welcome onto the Thrived Time Show. How are you, sir? Good, Clay. How are you, man? Well, I’m excited to interview you.

(Speaker 3)
And I’m going to pull up your website. For people out there that don’t know, what is Centurion.Health? Tell us about the online supplement company. What do you guys do?

(Speaker 4)
Yeah, so we started out in the pharmaceutical world. And we had pharmaceutical reps going out there doing their thing for years. We got into it and we started going down the path. We still have some OTC products. We have a couple of prescription products, but we really found that there were a lot of supplements that were doing more for people without having to go to a doctor and really

(Speaker 4)
about helping people take ownership of their health. And that’s ultimately what we want to do is get people to that point. We found through COVID that there was a lot of stuff that people were missing, that we weren’t getting the full information for,

(Speaker 4)
as you well know. And ultimately our goal was to get people informed, to provide the resources that they would need to stay healthy and really begin to take that ownership piece so they can live healthier lives.

(Speaker 3)
Now, you know, I always look at everything from an entrepreneurial perspective and some people think that’s about money. I look at it as it’s about solving a problem. And you got, you looked at the problem and you recognized, wow,

(Speaker 3)
America is being plagued by poor nutrition, by lack of nutrients, by lack of vitamin, by lack of access to quality products, and you decided to do something about it and to solve the problem, and that’s what Centurion.Health is.

(Speaker 3)
Do you remember where you were when you first had the idea to start Centurion.Health?

(Speaker 4)
Yeah, it was probably with a pharmaceutical company. I had worked with several pharmaceutical companies before and felt like I could do it and I could do it better and provide products that were going to be high quality, but even less expensive and Hopefully without having insurance involved because that was one of our biggest heart Burns was the fact that people were always relying on insurance If it wasn’t on insurance, they couldn’t get it. So how could we make products that were affordable, that stayed off of the health insurance itself,

(Speaker 4)
and allowed them to get what they need?

(Speaker 3)
Now, a lot of people, I’m sure our listeners don’t do this, but a lot of people think that entrepreneurship is something for people over there. It’s almost like you’re watching an NFL football game or an NBA basketball game or professional soccer and you’re going, wow, there’s players I’m watching. That’s entertaining.

(Speaker 3)
That’s exciting. There’s a Damon John from FUBU over there. OK, wow, the founder of Hobby Lobby, he’s over there. And wow, George Foreman is over there. And a lot of people have heard of these people or have heard these stories through the Thrive Time Show podcast, but I’m trying to get our wonderful viewers and listeners to get in the game,

(Speaker 3)
to actually roll up the sleeves and recognize that you, too, can build a successful company. Before building Centurion Supplements, had you ever started your own company before? Was this your first go at the entrepreneurship game?

(Speaker 4)
This was the first go at the entrepreneurship game. I guess you could say when I was a kid, I would mow lawns and I had my own business that way. Got into buying a couple of houses and renting them out. So I had done that and really got an even bigger bug. Always had a bug for it, but read Robert Kiyosaki’s book that kind of fueled my fire to get in there, the rich dad, poor dad, and that really lit my fire of, I can do this and there are certain things you can take

(Speaker 4)
and baby steps to get you to where you need to go.

(Speaker 3)
Having Robert Kiyosaki speak at our workshop about six months ago was one of the highlights of my life because he explains that the cash flow quadrant, and I remember hearing about it, reading about it for the first time, I’m 19 years old.

(Speaker 3)
I’m learning about the path to become successful. Step one, you become an employee. Step two, you become self-employed. Step three, you become a business owner. Step four, you become an investor. I thought, man, I can get behind that.

(Speaker 3)
I’m working at Applebee’s, I’m working at Applebee’s, I’m working at Target, I’m working at DirecTV. I started my company DJConnection.com, the rest is history. Do you remember like that first step you took to start this company, which is now, by the way, folks, very successful, Centurion.Health.

(Speaker 3)
Do you remember the first step you took?

(Speaker 4)
Yeah, I was actually working still at a pharmaceutical company, and I was like, you know what, if I want to do this, I need to build it to where my family can still sustain itself if I were to lose this job or go out. So I decided I was going to do my job in the pharmaceutical world the best I could

(Speaker 4)
and give it the full eight hours. And then at night, I would go back to say, what do I need to do to build this company and make it work? And I think ultimately if it’s a desire and it’s a dream, you’ll figure out a way to make that happen. And it’s just the getting over the fear of that first step of saying, all right, I’m on my own. I don’t have anybody else to take care of me anymore. When in reality, if I look back on it, I think it was just a false sense of security.

(Speaker 4)
Because a job really truly is a false sense of security, because you can fool yourself into believing that, hey, this job’s gonna be here forever. But the truth is, at any moment, the economy could take that job out and or you could get fired.

(Speaker 3)
Now, I’m not asking you to put your financials out there for the world to see, but I do want to put a little meat on the bone and verify that you’re a real person. So first off, could you tell us your first and last name and one more time what the name of your company is

(Speaker 3)
so people can look you up, go to the website, verify that you’re real?

(Speaker 4)
Yes. Troy Duhl, and the company is Centurion Health. So you can go to centurion.health and read all about us.

(Speaker 3)
Now, what are the most common products that you sell there at the website? So for a lot of our listeners, I mean, we have a lot of listeners, sometimes close to a million listeners a week that will tune in.

(Speaker 3)
So for somebody who’s watching this show, whether the show comes out today or a month from now or a year from now, you’re still going to be doing this. What are the most common products? What are the most common products that you sell or solutions that you sell at centurion.health?

(Speaker 4)
Probably our biggest product is a product called Ninja Cough. So it’s a cough medicine because a ninja can’t cough. So obviously, you’ve got to stop that cough. That’s our biggest product. And then we also have some organic superfood greens. We have products for cognitive impairment and supplements

(Speaker 4)
for ADHD as well to help those kids who are suffering from ADHD. And then we’ve got prenatal vitamins that you can step out there and do as well. And during COVID, we had products called Defender that were put together to help overcome COVID

(Speaker 4)
and the needs that were there.

(Speaker 15)
Do you remember how you and I first met? Because we’ve had the opportunity together to help overcome COVID and the needs that were there.

(Speaker 3)
Do you remember how you and I first met? Because we’ve had the opportunity to serve you as a supplemental business coaching program. Do you remember how you and I first met or how you first heard about us?

(Speaker 4)
Yeah, I think it was actually doing some research and found some of your research on COVID and other things and started listening to your podcast and the business. And then I think you had reached out and invited us to come to one of your meetings there in Oklahoma and ended up coming out to the first one,

(Speaker 4)
really enjoyed it and went to one, I guess a couple of months after that and then started the coaching process with you guys.

(Speaker 3)
Now shifting gears here a little bit, there’s a lot of factors that have contributed to your growth, but you have an online supplement company and again, not putting your financials out there for the world to see, but you’ve had some tremendous growth over the past couple of years.

(Speaker 3)
What kind of growth have you guys had? Because again, I wanna fill the minds of our listeners that you could actually do this. What kind of growth have you had over the past couple of years?

(Speaker 4)
Brett, who was my coach at the time was encouraging us to go out and look for other companies and possibly acquire them. And then we had the conversation you and I did about what that would look like, because it was on the Amazon side. We weren’t doing anything on Amazon at that time. And we went out, we acquired that company, and we were able to see our revenue double because

(Speaker 4)
of that acquisition and continuing

(Speaker 1)
to see it grow year over year.

(Speaker 3)
And so when you have a coach or a mentor, like in my life, I have a company. I’ll pull this up, and by the way, folks, I don’t make a commission to do this, but I’m just pulling this up so people can get an example. I have an attorney, a law firm called wintersking.com. And I’m not exactly sure, Troy, but I find a way to pay them thousands of dollars a month.

(Speaker 3)
And you say, what? Well, I do this because I want to make sure that I’m to pull the weeds before it becomes a problem. Another example, a company called CCK. And I don’t make a commission. And I know this because I’ve asked if I can get paid a commission, but I don’t get paid

(Speaker 3)
a commission. And so I’ve worked with CCK for 10 plus years, my accounting firm I work with there. And again, people say, well, why do I work with CCK? You know, why do I have a business consultant in the form of CCK? Why do I have a business consultant in the form of Winters King?

(Speaker 3)
I tell people, look, there’s three reasons I always have had a coach and a mentor in my life. Is one, I wanna know what the plan is. I have to know a plan. I gotta know a plan. Second is I want some accountability. I want some accountability. And third is I want someone to push me. So I really do believe that, you know, professionals have a mentor

(Speaker 3)
or a coach and amateurs do not. Can I ask you, why did you originally reach out for maybe a mentor or a consultant at that time in the business’s growth?

(Speaker 4)
I think the bottom line is you don’t know what you don’t know. And when other people have gone ahead of you and you’ve seen other people do things and accomplish things, you want to know how they’ve done it. And you don’t have all the answers. And I think the sooner you get to that level of understanding that you don’t have all the answers, but there are other people who’ve been there, who’ve done that, and they can help walk you through it is a big piece. I was going to add to your list of three things. The fourth thing is to stay out of jail. Jail is

(Speaker 4)
not one of the places that I personally want to go on a regular basis. And that’s why I like to have a good accountant and attorney as well. So keep that in mind. Now, for people out there that

(Speaker 3)
haven’t worked with a consultant, and as you grow your company, you’ll have different consultants that you’re going to work with, could you maybe explain the process of what it was like working with Brett on our team? Because I think people think that mentorship is you hire a coach, and then maybe you talk to him once a quarter,

(Speaker 3)
or you hire a coach and you talk to him once a year. But really, I have found it’s that weekly process, that follow-up. Can you explain the nature of what that relationship was like working with Brett and our team?

(Speaker 4)
Yeah, so it was a weekly call. We would keep up with a strategy and some of the checklist of what we needed to do and we agreed upon to do for the next week. And then we’d go over that checklist, we’d go over all our financials, make sure that everything was going in place.

(Speaker 4)
And then we’d talk about more strategy of how can we grow it? Where are we doing that we may be missing and that we need to add to the equation to build up? And then it’s just kind of that constant resource of, hey, if you don’t have the idea and you come to him with a question, then if he didn’t have the answer, he had the resources of your team to go back to and say,

(Speaker 4)
hey, this is the question that one of my clients has, how can I or how can we help them come up with a solution to this problem? He did that several times for us.

(Speaker 3)
Now, I’ve got three final questions They’re going to feel very similar. But there are three questions I’d like to ask our guests here. One is, for anybody out there, kind of 60 seconds or less, somebody says, I’m thinking about going to check out

(Speaker 3)
the website, centurion.health. 60 seconds or less. What do you do at Centurion Health, Centurion.Health, and why should everybody check it out?

(Speaker 4)
The number one thing is take ownership of your health. We are big about helping you and everybody else become the owners of their health. I think we saw, all of us saw through COVID that there was really nobody there to help you with your health.

(Speaker 4)
The medical community failed us, the government failed us, and you couldn’t even have your family in with you a lot of times if you went to the doctor or the hospital. So what can you do to take ownership of your health? And we want to provide those products that can do that without necessarily going all the way to prescriptions.

(Speaker 4)
But if you get there, then hopefully you will have tried other things along the way before you got to that point. And we provide products for just keeping people in the best health possible. If there are certain conditions that they may have, like gene mutations, we deal with specifically an MTHFR gene mutation that will help them overcome that. And we try to do that with all of our products to make it easier

(Speaker 4)
for them to take and to take ownership ultimately of their health as a whole.

(Speaker 3)
Next question, two more questions to go. So for anybody out there that had a mentor, they haven’t had, you know, I again in my life I’ve hired Bruce Clay from BruceClay.com to help me learn search engine. And someone says, why would you pay someone $8,000 a month to teach you search engine optimization? Well, I didn’t know what I didn’t know. All I knew is I wasn’t really figuring out the online game.

(Speaker 3)
So I paid it. I don’t regret it. And Michael Levine, people say, Clay, why did you hire the PR consultant for Michael Jackson and Nike and Prince and all these celebrities to work with you. And I said, Well, I didn’t know anything about PR. So I want to get your thoughts. What do you say? And maybe 60 seconds or less for anybody out there the

(Speaker 3)
value of having a mentor or a coaching program in your corner to help you.

(Speaker 4)
I think it is absolutely essential and invaluable. Because, like you said, you don’t know what you don’t know. There are so many things that if you, if we had all the time in the world, it’d probably be, there’d be no need for it. But most of us want to scale faster. We want to get our business up and running quicker. And if somebody has already been there and done that, you can save so much time by investing that money. It’s to me, very much similar to going to college,

(Speaker 4)
except this is real world experience. So if you, most people go to college and they spend $100,000 to get through a four-year degree, but they don’t get practical advice on how to do something like for us, which is building up Amazon or online business or other things. Instead, we needed to partner with people who had resources and experience in those things, and it allowed us to get to that level much quicker than we would have

(Speaker 4)
if we tried to do it on our own.

(Speaker 3)
Final question I have here for you. 60 seconds or less, you’ve been to the business conferences, you’ve been in the coaching program, you are on to big things. I mean, your company is growing. We’ll just say it’s in the multimillion dollar category now. I mean, things are going great. What do you say to somebody who’s on the outside maybe

(Speaker 3)
thinking about scheduling a free 13-point assessment with myself or thinking about coming to our conference or thinking about working with us? What do you say about the value of maybe our coaching program? What do you say to somebody who’s thinking about or reaching

(Speaker 12)
out to us?

(Speaker 4)
I think you need to sit down, evaluate things, and just jump in, because the worst thing that could happen is you get involved and you do a 13-point assessment, and you’ve learned something about your business that maybe you didn’t know before. But the best thing that could happen is you get involved, you see the 13-point assessment,

(Speaker 4)
and then you recognize that there are areas that you could partner with somebody to help get you over the hump and get you to the next level. So always jump at the chance. And while there’s risk, that’s part of being in business

(Speaker 4)
is we know there are risks involved. Take that time to invest in yourself and invest in your business, because it’s only going to speed things up and it’s only going to make you better, because it does give you that accountability on a weekly basis to what you’re doing, to different ideas and ways to assess things and view things in

(Speaker 4)
a different way that we don’t all look at things the same way. Absolutely invaluable and would highly recommend either going to get that 13-point assessment or going into one of the events that you have coming up.

(Speaker 3)
Now, folks, if you’re out there today, I mean this. My wife is a foodie. My wife’s a big eat organic person. She has been inundating me with facts and truth about the medical system for years. And I will tell you, I don’t want my endorsement to in any way, shape or form hurt your impression

(Speaker 3)
of Centurion.Health. So don’t avoid the company just because I speak highly about it, but I encourage everybody, check out Centurion.Health. And a little search engine tip for anybody out there. If you’ll take the link, folks,

(Speaker 3)
if you’ll just go to centurion.health and you’ll copy that link and you’ll share that in the air everywhere, post it on your socials. It does help increase the rank of centurion.health and our good friend Troy. Troy, I really do appreciate you carving out time for us today and I encourage everyone to check out your website.

(Speaker 3)
Great seeing you on Zoom here and hopefully we’ll see you here at one of our in-person workshops.

(Speaker 6)
Thanks, Clay. Take care, brother. Bye-bye. My name is Kevin Thomas, and the name of our company is MultiClean. We are a commercial janitorial service, and we serve the entire state of Oklahoma and Kansas and soon to be Arkansas. We have probably grown probably five times. We’ve added, I think when we first started with you, we had 60-65 employees, and now we have a little over 300 employees.

(Speaker 6)
Before we got involved with Thrive Time, we didn’t really have any systems or processes in place. I’ve probably been to, in six, seven years I’ve probably been to, oh, in six, seven years, I’ve probably been to 12 to 13 business conferences. And amazingly, each time I go, I learn something new and I’m so excited to bring it back

(Speaker 6)
and show the team about marketing and how to implement.

(Speaker 3)
Okay, Aaron Antis, September 25th and 26th, guess who’s coming back to Tulsa? I will give you a hint. His first name is Eric and his last name is Trump. And his father is the 47th president of these United States. Yes, Eric Trump is joining us once again here September 25th and 26th in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the two-day interactive Thrive Time Show Business Growth Workshop.

(Speaker 3)
But Eric Trump is bringing friends. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Alina Haba will be joining Eric Trump right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Amanda Grace will be in the place. Dr. Stella Emanuel will be here in T-Town in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Julie Green will be on the scene. Mel K will be here to say hey.

(Speaker 3)
Dave Scarlett from the His Glory team will be here. It’s going to be a blasty blast right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. If you want to start or grow a super successful company, if you want to make your wallet great again or make your wallet great for the first time, if you want to learn marketing, systems, scaling, human resources, accounting, social media, branding, search engine optimization, sales training, financial management, and more,

(Speaker 3)
get your tickets right now at Thrivetimeshow.com. Once again, it’s Thrivetimeshow.com. A lot of people don’t know this, but the Trump Organization has thousands of employees. There’s not 50 employees. The Trump Organization, again, most people don’t know this, but the Trump Organization has thousands of employees. And while Donald J. Trump was the 45th president of these United States, he needed a competent man to run and execute his business plans.

(Speaker 18)
Showtime!

(Speaker 3)
So the man that runs the Trump Organization for Donald J. Trump as he was the 45th president of the United States and now the 47th president of the United States and now the 47th president of the United States is Eric Trump. Eric Trump is here to talk about time management, promoting from within, marketing, branding,

(Speaker 3)
quality control, sales systems, workflow design, workflow mapping, how to build. I mean, everything that you see, the Trump hotels, the Trump golf courses, all their products, the man who manages billions of dollars of real estate and thousands of employees is here to teach us how to do it.

(Speaker 3)
You are talking about one of the greatest brands on the planet from a business standpoint. I mean, who else has been able to create a brand like the Trump brand? I mean, look at it. And this is the man behind the business for the last,

(Speaker 3)
pretty much since 2015. He’s been the man behind it. So you’re talking, we’re into nine, going into 10 years of him running it. And we get to tap into that knowledge. That’s going to be amazing. Now think about this for a second, but Clay Clark, man, he is one character.

(Speaker 23)
It’s a good word for character.

(Speaker 22)
Yeah, that is it.

(Speaker 24)
Good, driven, smart.

(Speaker 10)
And I’ve never met a guy who was so hyper all the time. He’s doing so much good. And then I met his mother, and she just says, she just lets him be Clay Clark. I mean, so he’s endorsed by his mother and he’s doing magnificent work. So it was great meeting you out there

(Speaker 10)
and all the people that he surrounds himself with. His Clay Clark starts his days at five o’clock in the morning.

(Speaker 22)
It’s incredible.

(Speaker 23)
Yeah, he’s a machine.

(Speaker 18)
He’s a machine.

(Speaker 10)
But his, I have problems with my company starting at nine o’clock. Yes, hundreds of people showing up at 5 a.m. in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Man, he’s a leader of a leader. He’s a fantastic young man.

(Speaker 22)
No, he is.

(Speaker 3)
The lineup continues to grow. And this is how we do our tickets here at the Thrive Time Show. If you want to get a VIP ticket, you can absolutely do it. It’s $500 for a VIP ticket. We’ve always done it that way. Now, if you want to take a general admission ticket, it’s $250 or whatever price you want

(Speaker 3)
to pay. And the reason why I do that and the reason why we do that is because we want to make our events affordable for everybody. I grew up without money. like to be the tight spot. So if you want to attend, it’s $250 or whatever price you want to pay. That’s how I do it. And it’s $500 for a VIP ticket. Now, we only have limited seating here.

(Speaker 3)
The most people we’ve ever had in this building was for the Jim Brewer presentation. Jim Brewer came here. The legendary comedian Jim Brewer came to Tulsa. And we had 419 people that were here. 419 people. Yeah. And I thought to myself, there’s no more room. I felt kind of bad that a couple people had VIP seats in the men’s restroom. Oh, no, I’m

(Speaker 3)
just kidding. But I thought, so I thought, you know what, we should probably add on.

(Speaker 2)
Clay Clark is here somewhere. Where’s my buddy Clay?

(Speaker 14)
Clay’s the greatest. I met his goats today. I met his dogs, I met his chickens, I saw his compound. He’s like the greatest guy.

(Speaker 21)
I ran from his goats, his chickens, his dogs.

(Speaker 14)
So this guy’s like the greatest marketer you’ve ever seen, right? His entire life, Clay Clark, his entire life is marketing.

(Speaker 3)
So again, if you want to get tickets for this event, all you have to do is go to Thrivetimeshow.com, go to Thrivetimeshow.com. Go to thrivetimeshow.com. When you go to thrivetimeshow.com, you’ll go there. You’ll request a ticket. Boom. Or if you want to text me, if you want a little bit faster service, you say, I want you to call me right now. Just text my number.

(Speaker 3)
That’s my cell phone number. My personal cell phone number. We’ll keep that private between you, between you, me, everybody. anybody don’t share that with anybody except for everybody that’s my private cell phone number it’s 918 851 01029 1885 10102 I know we have a lot of Spanish-speaking people that attend these conferences and so to be bilingually sensitive my cell phone number is 918 851 0102 that is not actually bilingual that’s just saying one for a one it not the same thing. I think you’re attacking me.

(Speaker 10)
Now, let’s talk about this.

(Speaker 3)
Now, what kind of stuff will you learn at the Thrive Time Show Workshop? So, Aaron, you’ve been to many of these over the past seven, eight years. So let’s talk about it. I’ll tee up the thing and then you tell me what you’re going to learn about marketing and branding? Oh yeah, we’re going to dive into, you know, so many people say, oh, you know, I got to get my brand known out there, like the Trump brand. You want to get that brand out there. It’s like, how do I actually make people know what my business is and make it a household

(Speaker 3)
name? You’re going to learn some intricacies of how you can do that. You’re going to learn sales. So many people struggle to sell something. This just in, your business will go to hell if you can’t sell. So we’re going to teach you sales. We’re going to teach you search engine optimization, how to come up top in the search engine results. We’re going to teach you how to manage people. Aaron, you have managed, no exaggeration,

(Speaker 3)
hundreds of people throughout your career and thousands of contractors. And most people struggle with managing people. Why does everybody have to learn how to manage people? Well, because first of all, people are, you either have great people or you have people who suck. And so it can be a challenge.

(Speaker 3)
You know, learning how to work with a large group of people and get everybody pulling in the same direction can be a challenge. But if you have the right systems, you have the right systems, you have the right processes, and you’re really good at selecting great ones,

(Speaker 3)
and we have a process we teach about how to find great people. When you start with the people who have a great attitude, they’re teachable, they’re driven, all of those things, then you can get those people all pulling in the same direction.

(Speaker 3)
So we’re gonna teach you branding, marketing, sales, search engine optimization. We’re gonna teach you accounting. We’re gonna teach you personal finance, how to manage your finance. We’re gonna teach you time management.

(Speaker 3)
How do you manage your time? How do you get more done during a typical day? How do you build an organization if you’re not organized? How do you do organization? How do you build an org chart? Everything that you need to know to start and grow a business will be taught during this two-day interactive business workshop.

(Speaker 3)
Now let me tell you how the format is set up here. And again, folks, this is a two-day interactive 15. Think about this, folks. It’s two days. Each day it starts at 7 a.m. and it goes until 5 p.m. So from 7 a.m. to two days, it’s a two-day interactive workshop. The way we do it is we do a 30-minute teaching session,

(Speaker 3)
and then we break for 15 minutes for a question and answer session. So Aaron, what kind of great stuff happens during that 15-minute question and answer session after every teaching session? I actually think it’s the best part about the workshops,

(Speaker 3)
because here’s what happens. I’ve been to lots of these things over the years. I’ve paid many thousands of dollars to go to them. And you go in there and they talk in vague generalities and they’re constantly upselling you for something, trying to get you to buy this thing or that thing or this program or this membership.

(Speaker 3)
And you don’t, you leave not getting your very specific questions answered about your business or your employees or what you’re doing on your marketing. And what’s awesome about this is we literally answer every single question that any person asks.

(Speaker 11)
And it’s very specific to what your business is.

(Speaker 3)
And what we do is we allow you as the attendee to write your questions on the whiteboard. And then we literally, as you mentioned, we answer every single question on the whiteboard. And then we take a 15-minute break to stretch. And to make it entertaining when you’re stretching, and this is a true story.

(Speaker 3)
When you get up and stretch, you’ll be greeted by mariachis. There’s going to probably be alpaca here, llamas, helicopter rides, a coffee bar, a snow cone. I mean, there’s just- You had a crocodile one time.

(Speaker 3)
That was pretty interesting. Interesting. You know, I should write that down. And I feel sorry for that one guy that we lost. The crocodile, we duct taped its face. So that, right, we duct taped it. No, it was a baby crocodile. And we duct taped. Yeah, duct taped around the mouth

(Speaker 3)
so it didn’t bite anybody. But it was really cool to pass that thing around and pet it. I should do that. We have a small petting zoo that to be great. And then you’re in the company of hundreds of entrepreneurs. So there’s not a lot of people in America today. In fact, there’s less than 10 million people today, according to US Debt Clock, that identify as being self-employed.

(Speaker 3)
So if you have a country with 350 million people, that means you have less than 3% of our population that’s even self-employed. So you only have three out of every 100 people in America that are self-employed to begin with. And when Inc. Magazine reports that 96% of businesses fail by default, by default, you have a one out of 1,000 chance of succeeding in the game of business.

(Speaker 3)
But yet, the average client that you and I work with, we can typically double the, no hyperbole, no exaggeration. I have thousands of testimonials to back this up. We have thousands of testimonials to back this up. We have thousands of testimonials to back it up. But when you work with a home builder, when I work with a business owner,

(Speaker 3)
we can typically double the size of the company within 24 months. Yeah. Double. And you say double. Yeah. There’s businesses that we have tripled. There’s businesses. We’ve grown eight X. There’s so many examples you can see at thrive.timeshow.com. But again, this is the most interactive, best business workshop on the planet. This is objectively the highest rated and most reviewed business workshop on the planet.

(Speaker 13)
I was looking to learn how to take my business, like they’ve said today, from being very successful to being systematic. I’ve got a very successful practice in three different cities. Make good money.

(Speaker 10)
I just want to take it to the next level with systems and processes to where I can drive my cars more.

(Speaker 3)
Paul Hood. I’ve been a CPA for 33 years. And what kind of growth have you and your great team had here over the past let let’s say, five, six years?

(Speaker 7)
The last five, when I met you five years ago, we were doing three million. This year we’ll be, we’ll do 24 million.

(Speaker 3)
And you say, Clay, I still, I’m not going to get a ticket unless you give me more. Okay, fine. We’re going to serve you the same meal both days. True story. We have, we cater in the food and because… Simple. True story. We cater in the food. And because I keep it simple, I literally bring in the same food both days for lunch. It’s Ted Esconzito’s, an incredible Mexican restaurant. That’s going to happen.

(Speaker 3)
And Jill Donovan, our good friend, who is the founder of Rustic Cuff, she started that company in her home. And now she sells millions of dollars of apparel and products. That’s rusticcuff.com. And someone says, I want more. This is not enough.

(Speaker 11)
Give me more.

(Speaker 3)
OK. I’m not going to mention their names right now because I’m working on it behind the scenes here. But we’ve got one guy who’s giving me a verbal to be here. And this is a guy who’s one of the wealthiest people in Oklahoma.

(Speaker 3)
And nobody really knows who he is because he’s built systems that are very utilitarian, that offer a lot of value. He’s made a lot of money in the, it’s the, it’s where you rent, it’s short, it’s where you’re renting storage spaces. He’s a storage space guy. He owns this, what do you call that? The rental, the storage space? Storage units. This guy owns storage units. He owns railroad cars. He owns a lot of assets that make money on a daily basis.

(Speaker 3)
But they’re not like customer facing. Most people don’t know who owns the mini storage facility. Or most people don’t know who owns the warehouse that’s passively making money. Most people don’t know who owns the railroad cars. But this guy, he’s giving me a verbal that he will be here. And we just continue to add more and more success stories.

(Speaker 3)
So if you’re out there today and you want to change your life, you want to give yourself a incredible gift. You want a life changing experience. You want to learn how to start and grow a company. Go to thrive. Time show.com. Go there right now.

(Speaker 20)
Thrive.

(Speaker 3)
Time show.com. Request a ticket for the two day interactive event.

(Speaker 7)
Hey, how’s it going? I’m Thomas Crosson, owner and founder of Full Package Media in Dallas, Texas. I’ve been a coaching client with Clay Clark since the beginning of our business. We started about a year ago, August of last year. I had no clients, no idea what we were doing, no clue really what was going on. And now we’ve grown to where we’ve got six photographers, we’ve got office space here. I have an admin sales person that works for us full time,

(Speaker 7)
developing an online system. And a lot of that growth we attribute to Clay helping us. And there’s so many things that, nope, I mean, his stuff is not revolutionary. It’s not this crazy walk on hot coals and all this stuff.

(Speaker 2)
It’s just real, real stuff.

(Speaker 3)
It’s going to be a blasty blast. There’s no upsells. Aaron, I could not be more excited about this event.

(Speaker 11)
I think it is incredible. And there’s somebody out there right now, you’re watching, and you’re like, but I already signed up for this incredible other program called Smoke Your Way to Thin. Oh.

(Speaker 3)
I think that’s going to change your life. I promise you this will be ten times better than that.

(Speaker 19)
It’s like I picked the wrong week to quit smoking.

(Speaker 3)
Don’t do the smoke your way to thin conference. That is, I’ve tried it, don’t do it.

(Speaker 16)
Chain smoking is not a viable, I mean it is life changing. It is life changing.

(Speaker 3)
If you become a chain smoker it is life changing. It’s not the best weight loss program though. Right, not really. So if you’re looking to have life-changing results in a way that won’t cause you to have a stoma, get your tickets at thrivetimeshow.com. Again, that’s Aaron Antis. I’m Clay Clark.

(Speaker 3)
And reminding you and inviting you to come out to the two-day interactive Thrive Time Show workshop right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I promise you, it will be a life-changing experience. We can’t wait to see you right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

(Speaker 18)
Whoa!

(Speaker 3)
What kind of growth have you had since you and I’ve been working together over these past few years?

(Speaker 17)
3.45 million.

(Speaker 3)
I got those stats before I got on here. So you’ve grown by 3.45 million? Yeah got those stats before I got on here. So you’ve grown by 3.45 million?

(Speaker 5)
Yeah, 3,450,000.

(Speaker 3)
Would that be like, if you took the combined revenue and maybe doubled it? Have we gone up by? Have we gone up by?

(Speaker 17)
About almost three, not quite.
