(Speaker 3)
When I wrote this book here, I submitted it to Simon & Schuster and other publishing companies, and they sent it back to me saying, you don’t know anything about money. So I said, thank you very much. I self-published it, and nothing happened. I put it in a car wash in Austin, Texas, and it sat there for about a week. I had a,000 copies.

(Speaker 3)
And then one day the book sold. I called my friend who had the car wash. I said, you want more books? He goes, no. We don’t sell books in car washes. And a few weeks later, I got a phone call from Dallas, Texas.

(Speaker 3)
He goes, ah, my name’s Bill Galvin. I said, yeah. Nice book you got there. He said, really? You bought it? He says, yeah. And I said, how many books you got left? I said, a thousand. Minus the one you got. And he says, I’ll take them all.

(Speaker 3)
And I said, who are you? He says, my name’s Bill Galvin. I’m a diamond with Amway. And Amway took it throughout the world. So that’s how it got started.

(Speaker 38)
Just so you know that.

(Speaker 2)
He handed me books out of his trunk and I’m like, dude, I don’t want to take all your books. He goes, I don’t worry about it. Nobody’s buying them anyway. And 45 million copies later, it’s the number one, number one personal finance book ever. Tom Burns, I run a private equity real estate firm in Austin, Texas. The website is rich.life and you can go there and there’s a lot of information there for

(Speaker 2)
you and you can call me, you can get to me at Tom at rich.life. Alright, so back in the day, I just, I read books, books that try to help me learn real estate, personal development, I read books. Books that tried to help me learn real estate, personal development, stuff like that. One day my family was gone, and what I do when they’re gone is I do errands.

(Speaker 2)
So my errand was getting, my truck was dirty, so I had to go get it clean. So I go to a car wash, hand the guy my money, I go to the counter, and I was a car wash I didn’t know they sold books and it had rich dad something on it I said let me see that he gives me the book it says what the rich teach their kids about money that the poor middle class don’t I figured anybody’s cocky

(Speaker 2)
enough to say that got to be something I’ll read so I grabbed the book put it on my bill went home to put in my office, and I did some other errands. About 11.30 at night, I was going to bed, and I thought I’d see what I was gonna read one day. I opened up a page and looked at it, kinda liked what I saw, read another page or two,

(Speaker 2)
leaned against the desk and read some more pages, sat down, four hours later, I’d finish the book. So it’s 3.30 in the morning and I in my opinion I’d read just the best book I’ve ever read in my life. So I had to wait till 6.30 or 7 in the morning. I called a friend of mine and said I read the best book I ever read in my life. You need to read it. He says yeah right. I give him the book he goes yeah you’re right. So I want to know who this guy was. It was an unknown author, nobody knew who he was. So we called the publisher

(Speaker 2)
to find out who this guy is. And the person that answers the phone is Robert Kiyosaki, the author. And it turns out that what he had done was he had printed a self-printed, self-copied, self-published, a thousand copies, really as a brochure to sell his game called Cash Flow. So, you know, we talked on the phone, wanted to know who this guy was, flew out to Arizona, met him,

(Speaker 2)
he taught us how to play Cashflow. And he asked, he said, I said, well, how many of these you got left? Because I had bought like two dozen. I went back the next day and bought the rest of the books. There were two dozen books on this shelf. And he said, I said, how many of those you got left?

(Speaker 2)
He goes, well, how many did you buy? I said, 24. He goes, I got 976 left. He said, nobody’s buying it. So we went to Arizona, got to know him, taught us how to play cash flow.

(Speaker 2)
And I tell people, he starts, as we’re leaving, I’m getting ready to go back to Austin, and he’s handing me books out of his trunk, and I’m like, dude, I don’t wanna take all your books. He goes, I don’t worry about it, nobody’s buying them anyway. And 45 million copies later, it’s the number one personal finance book ever. So it turns out that was the first book ever bought

(Speaker 2)
because nobody would publish him. He had a buddy who owned the car wash. He said, will you please put my book there? And he said, all right. So I bought a couple dozen. I handed them out to my friends because I wanted them to know about it. But I kept a couple of them.

(Speaker 2)
I kept the one that I read. Years later, I’ve been friends with Robert for like 25 years now. I run into him and I told him I back the first book and it now hangs in the Rich Dad offices. So it’s been a long story. It’s been a great, great association. So it’s been cool to know Robert.

(Speaker 40)
What a great story.

(Speaker 2)
Thanks man.

(Speaker 39)
You bet.

(Speaker 3)
Clay, you’re an entrepreneur. I’m an entrepreneur. And as they say in Stoic, the obstacle is the way. And so if you let these pinheads get in your way, you’re in trouble. Robert, one of the things that you said on multiple interviews, multiple times,

(Speaker 3)
and every time you said it, I thought to myself, have I not been paying attention? Because it felt like new information to me the first time I heard it, which is probably the 50th time I’d heard it. You said, octa non verba.

(Speaker 3)
And maybe the first time you said it, I was driving while I’m, you know, listening to the podcast while driving. And maybe I was half paying attention, but I octa non verba. And then it was like a, almost like an angelic moment for me. And I octa non verba. And once I finally understood what it meant and what you were saying and how it could

(Speaker 3)
be used, I think it was life changing for me and how I approach business. Could you explain Okta Nonverba, what it means and how our listeners could apply it? Clay, you gave me goosebumps, man. I’m glad it hit you as hard as it did. Okta Nonverba is the model of the US Merchant Marine Academy

(Speaker 3)
at Kings Point, New York. I had appointments with Naval Academy and Kings Point Mer Merchant Marine Academy. And Merchant Marine Academy’s motto was octa non verba. In other words, don’t listen to what a person says.

(Speaker 31)
Watch what they do.

(Speaker 3)
Clay, my honor, my honor to be on your show. And thank you for all you do. I hear the ripple effects from you are good ripple effects. You know what I mean? People rave about what they learn from you. So congratulations

(Speaker 38)
so

(Speaker 3)
Kenny McElroy and I are partners and all this we own lots of property On the golf course at the Biltmore things like this. So I love real estate. I don’t think God wants people to be poor poverty Hurts. I mean, I don’t like it. And today in the world, there’s this gap between the rich and everybody else.

(Speaker 3)
And I know the game of the rich. The game the bankers and the rich play is different than what they teach you in school. And that’s the story of Rich Dad, Poor Dad. You know, my Poor Dad PhD, student stands for poor, helpless, and desperate.

(Speaker 3)
They don’t know anything about money. And they’re teaching our kids. I’m sitting in this classroom and my MBA accounting teacher doesn’t know accounting. And I’m going, I’m going nuts. I’m not an accountant, but I knew he wasn’t an accountant

(Speaker 3)
also, so I took him on and said, I said, are you an account? He goes, I have a master’s in accounts. I said, that’s not the question. Are you an account? I have a master’s in accounts. You’re a fake. You don’t know what you’re talking about. And to this day, when I listen to what people are teaching kids about accountancy, it’s bad accountancy. They count anything of value as an asset.

(Speaker 3)
They count your car as an asset, your house as an asset. When it’s really taking money from your pocket. Your retirement plan, guess what? It’s a liability. It’s taking money from your pocket every month. And whose pocket does it go to? Wall Street. Assets put money in your pocket, liabilities take money from your pocket. An asset is a noun like a house. Cash flow is a verb so to understand if it’s an asset or liability it takes a noun plus verb. So if the cash is flowing out of your pocket, it’s a liability. You could be anywhere doing a lot of different things,

(Speaker 37)
but you chose to be here.

(Speaker 7)
Some shows don’t need a celebrity narrator to introduce the show. But this show does. In a world filled with endless opportunities, why would two men who have built 13 multimillion dollar businesses altruistically invest five hours per day to teach you the best practice

(Speaker 7)
business systems and moves that you can use because they believe in you and they have a lot of time on their hands. They started from the bottom now they’re here. It’s the Thrive Time Show starring the former US Small Business Administration’s Entrepreneur of the Year, Clay Clark, and the entrepreneur trapped inside an optometrist’s body, Dr. Robert Zilner. Two men, eight kids, co-created by two different women,

(Speaker 7)
13 multimillion dollar businesses.

(Speaker 12)
We started from the bottom, now we’re here.

(Speaker 9)
We started from the bottom, and we’ll show you how to get here. multi-million dollar businesses. I break down the books. Seeds bring in some wisdom and the good looks. As the father of five, that’s why I’m alive. So if you see my wife and kids, please tell them hi. It’s the C and Z up on your radio.

(Speaker 3)
And now, 3, 2, 1, here we go.

(Speaker 12)
We started from the bottom, now we here. We started from the bottom, and we’ll show you how to get here.

(Speaker 3)
Started from the bottom, now we here. Yes, yes, yes, and yes. Today Thrive Nation on today’s show we have the best show we have ever done. We are joined by the legendary best-selling author Robert Kiyosaki, my team in the background is going nuts here, who changed my life with the writing of his book Rich Dad Poor Dad. And we have the man that manages the Trump Organization because his father is trying

(Speaker 10)
to save the free world, Eric Trump.

(Speaker 3)
Eric Trump. Eric Trump, welcome on to the Thrive Time Show. How are you, sir?

(Speaker 1)
How are you, my friend? And how are you, my other friend? I’ve known Robert for many years and he’s a dear friend of ours and the family’s and a guy I respect beyond belief. And I’ve read his book.

(Speaker 1)
I read it in it, Robert. I took a lot of things out of it, but I took one key thing. Never treat your house as an asset. I think it’s probably the smartest thing anybody’s ever said. And so that was front and center all throughout that book. And it was great words of wisdom, but love you, buddy. It’s great to reconnect and play Script Beer.

(Speaker 3)
A long time, Eric. It was a good, great time. It was fantastic. So Robert, I’m going to start with you. You’re in the hot seat first. You teamed up with Eric Trump’s father to write Why We Want You to Be Rich. You also wrote The Midas Touch. And you and President Donald J. Trump are friends.

(Speaker 3)
I got to ask you, what was it like working on a book with Donald J. Trump? And why did you two team up together to write those two books? Well, first of all, it’s life changing. You get to know them personally. The most important thing, Eric, was your staff.

(Speaker 3)
You know, Rona and Meredith and all that. The team that your father had around him, tremendously great people as individuals, most respectful people. It was fantastic. And this is the picture here I’ve used,

(Speaker 3)
Make America Rich Again, you know, with the two books. And Eric, he has the patch on his ear. This was the day after the RNC when he got shot. So we were sitting there talking about, because I flew in Vietnam, and we were talking about what it’s like

(Speaker 3)
to have bullets coming at you. And I don’t know how you guys take it. Congratulations to you and your family. I mean, you guys are the eye of the storm right now, and I’m proud of you all. I’m just so proud of you.

(Speaker 3)
Your father’s got so much guts, and he and I are the same age. I get tired of watching him on TV. I get exhausted.

(Speaker 13)
How does he keep going?

(Speaker 1)
You know, I sent him a text message this morning and I just said, hey, you’ve literally energized all of America. Like America is back. Like our patriotism is back. Our energy is back.

(Speaker 1)
You know, you watch what they do with Doge. I mean, every single day, Elon’s finding another, you know, $100 million in condoms for Gaza, you know, $26 billion in this nonsense DEI project at some nonsense agency. I mean, you know, literally $50 billion in electrical bills

(Speaker 1)
and utility bills for government buildings that aren’t even utilized. I mean, people are so sick and tired of it and seeing them all day long go in there and quash the nonsense, shut it down. I mean, it’s energized this country

(Speaker 1)
in such an incredible way. I mean, people were energized obviously throughout the whole election, there’s no question. I mean, it was one of the greatest victories in the history of this country. But now people are sitting there

(Speaker 1)
and watching exactly what you said, his energy. And I mean, he’s in the Oval Office, you know, 18 hours a day signing executive orders, you know, trying to bring peace to the world, making sure that we’re not ripped off. I mean, you know, in 24 hours, he got Canada to cave, he got Panama to cave. I mean, you know, the Belt and Roads Initiative

(Speaker 1)
was terminated, you know that very well. I mean, you know, all of a sudden all of these adversaries are, it’s, that’s just a beautiful thing to watch and I’m proud of him. But I said to him in that text, I said, hey, you know, just know I’m proud of you.

(Speaker 1)
Keep punching, never, ever, ever stop punching. Not that I needed to tell him that, believe me, there’s no better puncher in the world, You know, you guys did a lot of great work together. And he’s always considered you a great friend. And I know you’ve been proud of him. And Clay, you know this very well. You and I have spoken about this a thousand times,

(Speaker 1)
but you know, one of the things he told me right before he was going down that escalator is we’re gonna find out who our true friends were. And I have to say, you know, we were disappointed by the vast majority. Robert is far from being in that category. In fact, I think when everybody went the opposite way, I think Robert only became closer.

(Speaker 1)
And we appreciate him enormously for that.

(Speaker 3)
Well, Eric and Robert, what I want to do today is I want to tap into the wisdom of both of you gentlemen. And during these 45 minutes, we have you. So I’m going to come rapid fire. And I apologize if it feels like it’s a machine gun, but here we go. So Eric, when your father’s not out there trying

(Speaker 3)
to save the free world, or when he is trying to save the free world, either way, you’re running the Trump organization behind the scenes. That’s what you’re doing. And I don’t think a lot of people know that. I mean, you’re running the organization.

(Speaker 3)
There’s thousands of employees, billions of dollars of assets.

(Speaker 1)
How do you start your day at this point, Eric? Yeah. So I’m a 5 AM guy. I always have been. I’ve never been a nighttime guy. I’ve always been a very early morning guy. I typically wake up right to the gym. Generally back from the gym around 6, 6 15 at the latest. Say hi to my kids and get to the office and start going.

(Speaker 1)
I’m a list maker. I believe in lists in order to organize life. I think that the biggest struggle that anybody in my position, again, I run some of the biggest hotels in the world. You know, one of the greatest golf portfolio is in the world

(Speaker 1)
and I’m very heavily involved in the crypto world these days building out some of the biggest platforms out there and so many other things. I mean, residential buildings, commercial buildings, some of the biggest retail deals, always acquiring assets, obviously kind of treasury management for our company, our family, not to mention just about every other function of our family and a lot of other things.

(Speaker 1)
I mean, time management is definitely the hardest thing that you have to deal with, right? And also kind of the diversity of problems. You might have a member problem one second, you might be refinancing a building three minutes later, you might be buying a building, you know, five minutes later, you might be, you know, working on a big, you know, crypto deal an hour later. And, you know, you might, it’s just the diversity of product that comes across my desk on a

(Speaker 1)
daily basis is pretty astronomical. And, and so, you know, time management is really important, but I really do believe in lists. I believe in checking off items on a list. I believe in starting the day with the most important items that you have to accomplish no matter what, no matter what else you have to sideline, you have to accomplish one, two, three, four, and five. And that’s a big part of my life.

(Speaker 1)
And so, you know, again, I’m an early bird

(Speaker 3)
and I believe in organization and lists. Now, Robert, this is your book. I’ve shown the listeners. This is what I do to Robert’s books here. This is the Rich Dad Guide to Investing. And this is what happens when I read this thing. I mean, I just devour the notes.

(Speaker 3)
It’s really unethical what I’ve done to the book here. Just look at that. And then to-do list, I mean, Eric knows this. clipboard. It’s always surgically attached to me. And I believe in these principles. And why I wanted to get you guys on the show together is I want to talk about the big picture, but I also want to talk about the small picture because so many people watch our show, Robert, and they’re plumbers, doctors, dentists, people that want to become real estate investors. They have businesses. So, Robert, you once wrote, a wise man by the name of Robert Kiyosaki once wrote, it’s not about how much money you make,

(Speaker 3)
it’s about how much money you keep. Could you help our listeners out there, the doctors, the dentists, the lawyers, the guys that are probably donating to Trump, they probably donated to Trump, they probably want to make America great again, but now they want to make their business great again.

(Speaker 3)
What would you say, it’s about how much money you keep. Well, again, it’s study. You know, like this, I’m so proud of you. You have my book, this is the other book here. This is the creature from Jekyll Island, which is the Fed who Eric’s father is going after those crooks.

(Speaker 3)
Anyway, the anchors of the world. I want to say something about Eric and Don Jr. Their people skills are impeccable. And we had this guy Hunter Biden, who’s a drug addict and a porno star, and is like father, like son. So I remember Eric and Don Jr. and I

(Speaker 3)
are hunting on this private island in Hawaii. There’s no running water, no toilets, nothing. They ask for nothing. And we go to this, and they go, There’s no running water, no toilets, nothing. They ask for nothing. And we go to this, and they go,

(Speaker 3)
we go to a restaurant and both young men, they were young boys at the time, almost boys yet, they walk in the back and they talk to the staff. So some of them were illegals and all this, and Don Jr. and Eric are talking to the staff. And I remember, you know,

(Speaker 3)
one of your suitcases didn’t show up on Kauai in Hawaii. So we had to go buy clothes for, I think, Don Jr. So Don Jr.’s checking out at Walmart or something on the island of Hawaii. And the girl goes,

(Speaker 25)
Donald Trump Jr.

(Speaker 3)
And both young men are so gracious. The number one skill they have are people skills. They’re not arrogant, they’re not cocky. It doesn’t go to the head. And by the way, both boys can shoot. I mean, we were shooting at 700 yards and things like this.

(Speaker 3)
They asked no quarter, no toilets, nothing. We’re eating raw fish and all this stuff. They just keep going. Their people skills are impeccable. So that’s what I want to say about it. They success.

(Speaker 3)
Now, Eric, I got to ask you this, because the first time I’d ever been to the Trump Dorals when we hosted a Reawaken America event there. And I checked in, and the team that runs that property, it is next level. And objectively, I never went to the golf club under the previous management.

(Speaker 3)
But you guys renovated the entire thing. I’ve seen the photos. And it was the best experience from the time we pulled in to the time we left. And I remember you called me on our way out. And you called me.

(Speaker 3)
You said, Clay, was everything perfect? Quote, Eric Trump. You said, was everything perfect? And I told my wife, I said, not only was everything perfect, but Eric Trump actually called me to ask if it was perfect. And I just want to get your thoughts on that, because somebody’s watching today’s show.

(Speaker 3)
They’re a dentist, OK? They’re a doctor, they’re a lawyer, and they want their front desk guy, their front desk lady, to greet people with that Trump level of quality. And your front desk guy nailed it, your chauffeur nailed it, the valet folks nailed it, all the hospitality staff nailed it, the golf cart people nailed it, everybody on your team nailed it, your audiovisual guys nailed it.

(Speaker 3)
How do you, brick by brick, Eric Trump, build an organization like that?

(Speaker 19)
Yeah.

(Speaker 1)
So I hate the word kind of corporate culture because I think every company uses it and I think 99% of companies get it just wrong. I also hate hiring from outside our company because so oftentimes when I do, I’m totally disappointed. People in our company, I really do believe do it better.

(Speaker 1)
I always say, if you’re with our company for six months, you’ll be with us forever. And we’ve taken people, Clay, I’ve told you this story before, but I mean, we’ve had general managers who used to drive me to school as a young kid

(Speaker 1)
who are now general managers of the biggest buildings, some of the most expensive hotels anywhere on earth. And there are people that always had their hand up, right? It’s, hey, we’re about to build this building. We need to go out and take some architects to the piece property and I’ll take them. Unconventional choice, but yeah, Brian, go ahead, take them out. And then you’re sending out bankers because you want to get financing. Oh, I’ll show them around the property. And all of a sudden, hey, guess what?

(Speaker 1)
We need construction contractors. Oh, I’ll go line up a bunch of contractors. So the people who always had their hand up. And we prioritize that so much more than we do the Harvard MBA. And those are the people that always end up becoming stars.

(Speaker 1)
And we really grow people within a company. I mean, we’ve grown people from caddies to general managers of most expensive golf clubs in the nation. I told you that the example of obviously one of our general managers of hotels, we really believe in that. But beyond that, we also believe in kindness and no games. We’re the first people to laugh and have the greatest time. But I don’t think you’ll come across an employee in our company, any property in our country that doesn’t, you know, in our portfolio that doesn’t

(Speaker 1)
know me personally, doesn’t have some level of relationship with me, doesn’t have me in a picture, hasn’t, you know, shaken hands with me a thousand times. And we really, really prioritize that. Our employees aren’t numbers. They’re not just another name on a big Excel spreadsheet as they are with so many of the big hospitality companies. I mean, these are people who truly are family to us. They feel like family to us. They’ve been with us forever. We’ve helped so many of them behind the scenes in so many unthinkable ways. You know, houses burned down, they lose everything, we replace them. We’ve done so many things like that. And it’s built a culture of true love,

(Speaker 1)
an absolute professionalism and high standards. And it’s very hard for companies to replicate that. It takes decades to do this. This isn’t something you could do in a six month period of time. It really takes a lot of time, but it also takes a lot of heart and soul.

(Speaker 1)
It takes a lot of meaningful effort. You can’t fake this. It doesn’t, right? People’s to see sincerity. And I really think I have the best team in the world. It’s why no one ever leaves the company. And it’s, you know, I’m incredibly blessed and fortunate. And I think it’s why the company runs so well,

(Speaker 1)
but it’s also why in unthinkable times like politics, where they’re doing everything they can to destroy your life, to destroy your family, to destroy your company. You know, the company performed and performed as well as it did and really was able to sail through those rough seas kind of undeterred is because I have an amazing team and it’s single-handedly the most important thing to me. Nothing even comes close.

(Speaker 3)
Their people skills are impeccable. They’re impeccable. I said when the first thing that hit me when I went to work, you know, the great Donald Trump in New York, I’m going, wow. And it was his staff. It was Rona, Meredith, and your father’s bodyguard, Keith. The most respectful people.

(Speaker 3)
And that’s where it starts. I need to improve upon that, obviously.

(Speaker 28)
But boy, they’re impeccable.

(Speaker 1)
And Rona was with us for 25 years. And Norma was with us for 30 years. And Keith was with us for at least 20 years. And now it’s, you have to care. You have to care. You have to treat people well. You have to be able to laugh.

(Speaker 1)
You have to be able to take your job seriously but you also have to give people flexibility in life. You have to be there in the darkest moments of their life. You know, one of my guys, he just lost his father two days ago. Really sad case. This guy is very close to me in our corporate office right here. His father is from New York. We didn’t tell him anything about it.

(Speaker 1)
We loaded up the big trumpline and every single person from our corporate office flew to New York. And all of a sudden we showed up and, you know, out in the middle of Long Island. And he sees us one by one walking in to his father’s funeral and he just couldn’t believe it. Every single person in our corporate office and he broke down in massive amounts of tears and you know, was it hard to get to? Yes, it was very hard to get to. Did we

(Speaker 1)
have much time to put the whole thing together? No, not at all. When he saw one person after the other walk in, right, that’s what makes family. I was on a business trip two days ago when a little girl of one of our people who’s in interior design got super, super, super sick and had to be rushed to the emergency room. One of our department heads here in this office that I’m sitting in right now, went to the hospital,

(Speaker 1)
spent the entire night with the baby on her chest. This is another colleague’s baby literally on her chest. They were sending pictures to all of us every hour. That doesn’t, it doesn’t happen at most organizations. People wouldn’t want to give up their night. They wouldn’t want to give up that glass of wine,

(Speaker 1)
the time with their own kids, the time with their husbands. And, you know, again, it’s not something you can fake. I mean, every company brags about it, but most of the companies that brag about it are totally full of crap, right? They do so with a couple of catchy words, you know, that’s written in some pamphlet.

(Speaker 1)
We don’t have those pamphlets. We just, we’re there, we do the right thing. And it truly is a very large family. And I’m incredibly proud of that. I don’t want you to brag on Eric. I want you to hear this story. This is a true story. Eric can brag on me, guys. It makes me totally uncomfortable. I do much better when people throw fire and hate at me than when people brag on me.

(Speaker 5)
I’ll throw hate on you at the very end.

(Speaker 36)
All right, perfect.

(Speaker 1)
Throw hate on me.

(Speaker 3)
But no, you and I did 20 plus of these Reawaken America events together. And so we go to Oregon, and we’re talking a week before the event, I find out that the local venue caved because of the political pressure, and they canceled the event. So I contacted my wife, I contacted everyone I could think of, and I found a guy with a minor league baseball stadium. And he said, you could rent my parking lot, and I got a quote, it’s going to be $600,000 to erect a structure, but I can get it done. That’s the only way. We’d already sold the tickets. Eric, you were already coming. And what gave me confidence, Eric,

(Speaker 3)
is I knew that you would be there. Because for the Pennsylvania reawaken event, I think you had a flight that got canceled, and you drove there in a rental car.

(Speaker 5)
And every year, it was just-

(Speaker 1)
Was this in Portland? Yeah, that’ll love this. Clay calls me up and there’s like a big Antifa debate. He’s like, you know, we have a little Antifa problem. I would understand if you didn’t want to show up. I go, I don’t know, I’m committed to this event.

(Speaker 1)
Like I’m gonna go. If we have to get in a know, but no, no, I promise you I was going to be somewhere. And if I said we’re going to be somewhere, we’re going to be somewhere. And that was, uh, it was actually a beautiful event. That was, uh, that was pretty amazing. The love in that blue state was, it was astronomical.

(Speaker 3)
It was, uh, you know, one of the most memorable of the whole series. a wise man by the name of Robert Kiyosaki once wrote, winners fail until they succeed, losers quit when they fail. I have these kinds of quotes in my mind all the time, whether it’s a Donald J. Trump quote, where if you’re going to be thinking, you might as well be thinking big, or it’s a Robert Kiyosaki quote of,

(Speaker 3)
winners fail until they succeed, losers quit when they fail. I just want to see if you could speak life into the entrepreneurs watching this that may be up against something, a tough payroll, a tough inflation situation they’re fighting, a tough competitor. What do you say, Robert?

(Speaker 3)
Well, life is about problems.

(Speaker 35)
You know what I mean?

(Speaker 3)
And you got the problems are gifts. So they challenge you to get smarter, better, challenge yourself. And I meet some academic, I’m glad your father wants to shut down the Department of Education on top of USAID.

(Speaker 3)
You know, I’m going, God, they’re a bunch of criminals. I mean, our test scores are going down and they want more money. I mean, that’s criminal. But anyway, our school systems really need to teach lessons such as that, not this woke stuff and we’re all losers and guys, the white guys like

(Speaker 3)
you guys pick on us and going, so what? That’s life, grow up. And I think that’s really what is necessary is that I don’t know what’s going wrong inside our academic systems, but I’ve always been after them. So when your dad, Eric, said he’s going to shut down USAID, I mean, those guys are assisting the guys coming across the border. And then the Department of Education, my god.

(Speaker 3)
We don’t need enemies. You know what I mean?

(Speaker 34)
We don’t need enemies.

(Speaker 3)
But your father has the guts to take him on. So when you see him, tell him I’m proud of him.

(Speaker 13)
I’m very proud of him.

(Speaker 1)
Well, hey, when USAID decides to give hundreds of millions of dollars to Pakistan, all while they’re harboring Osama bin Laden about, you know, 300 yards away from their equivalent of our West Point, you know, when they’re sending a100 million to Gaza for condoms, when they’re sending money to every country who’s absolutely ripping us off,

(Speaker 1)
who is buying every product from China, who’s buying Iranian oil, who’s buying Venezuelan oil, who’s buying Russian oil, who’s, you know, We Protect, who’s putting tariffs on the United States, who’s won’t import American products, who won’t import American products, who won’t visit this country, who send us nothing in the time of natural disasters and other issues that we have right here, yet

(Speaker 1)
we have hundreds of billions of dollars going out the door to them. It’s infuriating. Obviously, it’s infuriating to you, Robert. Believe me, it’s infuriating to me and my father and frankly, any sane-minded person in this country who would much rather see those those resources allocated to our own society. And it’s, you know, good news is my friend, those days are over. Those, those days are

(Speaker 1)
over. And, you know, Elon tweeted out something, you know, a couple days ago, which is we need to find $4 billion a day. And we’ll have zero inflation by the end of the year, you know, we want to find at least $4 billion of savings a day. And I think they’re well ahead of that mark right now. And it’s just, it’s music to my ears. I mean, it’s awesome.

(Speaker 1)
It’s awesome.

(Speaker 3)
Eric, it’s more than saving money. You’re stopping people who are anti-American.

(Speaker 33)
Of course.

(Speaker 32)
Of course.

(Speaker 3)
That is, that is so courageous. I’ve got questions.

(Speaker 1)
There’s a second part to that, Robert, too. I mean, so much of the cost saving measures actually comes with kind of redeploying, you know, the usefulness of people, right? And you have two and a half million government employees and the vast majority of them don’t even go to work.

(Speaker 1)
You know, they haven’t showed up at work and, you know, they’re at their work from home and they don’t have much of a job. They’re working second, third jobs in so many cases and there’s kind of bloat on top of bloat on top of bloat. And that’s not the case of all, but many. And by cutting out that inefficiency, then guess what? That person’s going to become the next entrepreneur. That person’s going to go find and create the next product. They’re going to come up with the next innovation. They’re going to, you know, use the time that was otherwise wasted as being paid for by the U.S. government to go achieve something great, to work in private

(Speaker 1)
industry, to go create the next widget or, you know, the next small business. And you’re actually going to see kind of a talent flourish out of frankly necessity because people guess what? They need to make a living. And I actually think that’s not just a beautiful thing for this country.

(Speaker 1)
Efficiency, production, productivity. I actually think this is a beautiful thing for them personally, because I think they’re gonna be a hell of a lot more fulfilled building something, creating something, being part of a team that makes something than they would otherwise getting a blank check from a government, which is underutilizing that very talent.

(Speaker 3)
Now, I want to ask you guys this question real quick because this is a business question, but I promise this relates to what you guys were talking about. You have this legendary management philosopher, Peter Drucker. Many people have read his work. I know I have.

(Speaker 3)
And he talks about what gets measured improves, or what gets measured gets managed, or you measure what you treasure. You could have all different ways to say the same thing, but it’s really what gets measured gets done. And I find that, Eric, you’re fastidious about tracking things. So are you, Robert Kiyosaki.

(Speaker 3)
And now you’re seeing that the Doge and Elon Musk, they’re tracking. They’re looking for government waste. And both of you appear to be disappearing. So I was talking to Laura. I was on the phone with Laura, your incredible wife there,

(Speaker 3)
Eric. And I said, your husband is looking more aerodynamic. What is going on? Because your wife is a fitness champion of some sort. She’s like a freak athlete. I mean that in a good way. And she said he flipped the switch. He’s all in now, Clay. I knew he flipped the switch. He’s all in. And Eric, I mean, you’ve been dialed in on this diet where it seems like you’re really measuring what you’re eating. You’re really focused. Your father appeared to be evaporating as he was getting closer to the election time. He appeared to be getting younger.

(Speaker 3)
I mean, everybody was commenting, he looks 10 years younger as he’s getting closer to the election. Robert Kiyosaki, you’re also locked in on a health kick here. So I wanna go to you, Eric, first on this. What role has dialing in on your personal fitness

(Speaker 3)
had in your life here in the last few years? Because it’s been noticeable. I know it’s a big part of your life. Talk to us about that.

(Speaker 1)
So I never really cared. I lived in New York, and I think it’s just different to the lifestyle. I just, you know, I didn’t prioritize. It’s not that I didn’t go to the gym. It’s not that I didn’t work out.

(Speaker 1)
It’s not that I ate terribly, but I just didn’t prioritize my life the way I do now. about five o’clock in the morning and I’m in the gym, I passed the gym this morning, I was doing leg day this morning and I push very hard. I believe in the weights over the cardio stuff. And I also believe in kind of heavy protein diets and over eating Cheerios, I just kinda, I don’t know. I think that goes back to your paleo roots of,

(Speaker 1)
I just believe that there’s probably more substance in protein than in so much of the crap. I’m a big RFK guy, actually, in terms of what he wants to do in terms of health right now. But no, listen, I think changing diet, changing patterns, and consistency in life has just been absolutely kind of pivotal in my own life, in my frame of reference every day, in general mood, happiness, energy levels,

(Speaker 1)
so many other things, and ability to fight off cold, sickness. I mean, you see so many different elements after you’ve done it for a couple of years of your life improved, when you actually take care of yourself.

(Speaker 1)
And it definitely, and my wife, as you know, I mean, she’s a massive CrossFitter, a big triathlete. I mean, she’s, as you said, you know, she’s superhuman. She’s fantastic, but no, it’s become a big part of my life. And it’s, you know, I wish I would have maybe found it, you know, 10 years earlier.

(Speaker 1)
Not that I was a mess fighter.

(Speaker 3)
You’ve blocked it into your schedule now, though, where you’re working out six days a week, and then you’re pretty much just eating high protein. Is that correct?

(Speaker 1)
Yeah. I mean, listen, consistency in anything, consistency in business and consistency in work effort, whatever you want to put your mind to, be consistent in what it is you’re going to succeed. Those little wins every single day compound and compound and compound. That compounding effort and effect creates something that’s very special in life. I really believe in consistency and a lot of people aren’t. I mean, a lot of people will wake up five o’clock

(Speaker 1)
one morning because they have to, and they’ll wake up at 11 a.m. the next day. I think it’s really hard for habits to be consistent when you have these massive variations in life. And so I try and be very formulaic in life. It’s probably part of my OCD, ADD personality.

(Speaker 1)
I think it’s why I’m very good at building. It has to be. It’s their sequence. And that’s just become a big part of the sequence of my life.

(Speaker 3)
Robert Kiyosaki, you have been really aggressive about fitness. You’ve actually done interviews where you’ve talked about it. And again, I want to go back to this idea that whether you’re talking about a business, growing your barber shop or growing your jewelry store or growing your real estate portfolio,

(Speaker 3)
we do have to treasure what we measure. We measure what we treasure. We do have to do that. Where do you get your thoughts about fitness and just your approach right now, Robert? Because I know it’s a big part of your life. life? Well, my message is that what you spend, not that much

(Speaker 3)
money you make what you spend it on. And I spend it on coaches. I’m basically lazy. I know that I’m a white, I’m a surfer. So I want to hire somebody who’s going to kick my butt. And my assistant Sandra hires these guys. And they’re all about your age, but man, they have no mercy on my body.

(Speaker 3)
And they have me doing exercises and this. And so I spend my money on people who will push me farther than I would go on my own. And that’s, so I’m a very big advocate of coaches, having people who will ask you to do what you’re not willing to do.

(Speaker 3)
That’s my secret. Eric, what’s your thought on that? Advisors, consultants, obviously, it’s national news. Every time your father brings in an advisor into administration, you mentioned Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who’s really looking into the relationship

(Speaker 3)
between vaccination and autism. He’s discussing Red Dye 40. He’s talking about Pop-Tarts. He’s talking about genetically modified food. He wants to make America healthy again. They bring him in.

(Speaker 3)
That’s headline stories. They bring in people like Peter Navarro, good friend of ours, mutual friend of ours, to help revive the economy. Every time your father brings in an advisor for the White House, it’s headline news.

(Speaker 3)
But I know you surround yourself too with people you can trust. And I do believe fundamentally that you do become the average of the five people that you spend the most time with. What are your thoughts on coaches and your fitness or advisors in your business?

(Speaker 1)
Well, it certainly helps to have a coach kick your butt in the gym, right? Because I don’t care who you are. You’re just not going to push yourself as hard as somebody will otherwise push you. Right. That last rep, the one that really matters. If somebody pushes you to do it,

(Speaker 1)
you probably wouldn’t have given up and put the bar back on the rack and not done it, just have your own personal comfort and having somebody who will make you do three more, no question, that’s great. At the same time, I’m a little bit leery of certain coaches

(Speaker 1)
and this comes out of a place of cynicism. The amount of political consultants that tried to enter our lives,

(Speaker 19)
hey, you should do this.

(Speaker 1)
You’d have some 24 year old kid who labeled themself a political consultant and knew nothing about politics. And if you followed their advice, my father would have been thrown out of the race in about two and a half seconds.

(Speaker 1)
He wouldn’t have won. He wouldn’t have done anything. There is a point that you also have to go with your own gut. I can’t tell you how many industries that we’ve entered over the years where we knew nothing about the industry and we went in and took over that industry by storm based on the fact that we use good common sense, you know, kind of, you know, practical thinking. I went into the wine world. Every, you know, wine consultant wanted to be our best friends and they wanted to be on retainer. We did a lot of it ourselves and with great people,

(Speaker 1)
obviously, but we did it all ourselves without taking the advice. I built maybe the largest wine operation on the East Coast of the United States as a person who was never in that world. And again, a lot of that was using kind of common sense.

(Speaker 1)
So I think you need to pick and choose. I think you need to be worried about the person who consults because they can’t do. I often ask that question. If you’re so good at doing, why are you consulting every single day? And there’s a lot of those people. And God knows Robert probably comes across more of them in the business world than I do, because there’s a lot of phonies out there.

(Speaker 1)
Robert’s a special guy because he’s a legitimate doer who wants to kind of share his knowledge with the rest of the world. My father was the same way in so many of his books. But just be careful of the person who doesn’t actually do. But I have plenty of colleagues, professors like that.

(Speaker 1)
If you’re so good at high finance, why aren’t you in high finance? Like I’m trying to figure this out. In life, you gotta be careful of the felonies you do because there’s plenty of them that exist. At the same time, there are certain things and certain times that people can push you to limits

(Speaker 1)
that you could have never pushed yourselves to. And when you can find the right person that can harness that in you and get you that last extra rep, can make you do that last kind of task, by God, that can create, that can be a deadly combination in the positive.

(Speaker 1)
And so I hope that makes sense to let.

(Speaker 3)
Well, I’m going to pull this up. Robert, I want to pull this up real quick here, sir. Both of you guys, by the way, you need another speaking event like you need a hole in the head. But I called both of you guys, and you lowered your standards, and you said, yes, I’ll come join you. And so you’re going to be coming to Tulsa, Oklahoma,

(Speaker 3)
on March 6 and 7. And what we’re going to do is we’re going to do kind of a Q&A format where Eric, our audience, the business owners, we’re talking doctors, dentists, lawyers, these are real people. We don’t have any charlatans in the room. No one, there’s no gotcha questions. These are real business owners,

(Speaker 3)
and they’re gonna wanna tap into your wisdom because they wanna make their American business great again. They know Donald J. Trump’s in the White House fighting every day to deregulate our economy and to create opportunities, but they want to know, how can I make my jewelry store, my dentistry, my pet grooming company, how can I make that successful? So I want to go to you, Robert,

(Speaker 3)
I want to get your thoughts on this. I’ll go to, I’ll ask you the same question, Eric. What should every business owner watching today’s show do to make their business great again? Well, that’s why I was going to plug to this event. I’m looking forward to being with you and Eric, but my real coach is on there, Tom Wheelwright, and he is a real CPA, but he does run a business.

(Speaker 3)
And like I said, in Hawaii, I grew up lazy. Lazy was the key to success in Hawaii. And Tom, I hated accounting. I just hated accounting. So Tom has been my coach, getting me to get over the hate of accounting

(Speaker 3)
and numbers and all that. And because of Tom, I created the Cashflow Board Game. And so, because every entrepreneur’s gotta know the numbers. You can ask Eric, isn’t that true? You’ve got to know your numbers. But a lot of times entrepreneurs hate numbers

(Speaker 3)
because they just want to do stuff. And so Thomas, my real coach, and he’s going to be there. He is a real CPA and he is a real entrepreneur. And I think those are the key successes. Choose your advisors and your friends carefully. I mean, Eric’s been hunting with my friends and I, we’re good friends, we’re close friends, you know, and we also work together, not work together, but we support each other, we kick each other’s butts. You know, come on, get your numbers up, do this, do that.

(Speaker 3)
And I think that’s the key to success, your friends and your advisors and who you spend time with. We just said, it’s true, Eric. I mean, you don’t waste your time, do you?

(Speaker 1)
No, and the most impressive people that I’ve found in life, I mean, a couple of contractors come to mind. I have a, he’s done a lot of work for a company, but he’s a guy who owns a nice contracting business. And here’s a guy on a Saturday morning at six o’clock, he’d go up to the construction site, he’d be on a backhoe alone, and he’d be digging a footer, he’d be

(Speaker 1)
laying rebar, and he doesn’t have any workers around him. He’s a lone warrior, he’s out there doing it. Now, this is the guy who also owns the company, but be very wary of the people who kind of want to manage but don’t want to do. Everybody wants to be a manager, no one wants to be a doer. Be incredibly impressed by the people who have the ability to not only manage, but also do themselves. And Robert knows this. I mean, my father put us at construction sites

(Speaker 1)
when we were 11. I will go run electrical conduit with the best of them right now. I will run all the electrical in a house that’s just us right now with my eyes closed. I did it every summer.

(Speaker 1)
I would do plumbing work I do. You know, I would do carpentry with the best of them I could run with. He literally wanted to kind of ingrain that in us and we see so many contractors now will try and rip us off and we actually have the skills and we understand the lingo and listen that that hole is not gonna take you nine hours to dig, it’s gonna take you about an hour. And the reason I know this is I’ve been in that hole,

(Speaker 1)
digging that hole, I like, you know, that tree is not gonna cost $4,000 to cut down. You know why? Give me that chainsaw right now and I’ll have it on the ground in about two minutes. And, you know, beery of the person who just wants to be

(Speaker 1)
the kind of conductor for a bunch of people who also want to be the conductor, who want to be the conductor for people who also want to be the conductor. It doesn’t work, right? That system breaks down very quickly.

(Speaker 1)
And so, you know, I’ve always found that in life,

(Speaker 3)
you know, find the people who can and elevate those people. Now seven minutes to go in two final questions. So here we go. Eric Brazil Russia India China South Africa the BRICS block. They’ve been hoarding the earth’s gold for the past 17 almost 18 years in preparation to introduce some sort of gold backed currency. Your father recently posted on truth social that I’m summarizing I’m paraphrasing that he’s aware of BRICS and that BRICS needs to dial back this rhetoric of trying to replace the dollar as the world’s reserve currency.

(Speaker 3)
Robert Kiyosaki, you talk about it often on your Rich Dad Radio show and podcast. So I want to get your thoughts, Eric, on the future of money. Kind of a big topic, but what are your thoughts on the future of money, specifically

(Speaker 1)
gold and crypto, sir? Oh, God, where do you want me to start, Clay? I mean, I literally, I can take that, I can run with that for the next nine hours. I’m going to try and synthesize it. First of all, my father’s going to stop BRICS. It’s insane. And Biden let them get away with it because, you know, they continue to support countries using foreign aid, including from USAID, an agency my father shut down yesterday, as we were just talking about. All the while, they were trying to diminish the US dollar, which would be just devastating for the national economy. The US dollar is the world’s super currency, and it will continue to be. The US dollar is what everybody wants to be on,

(Speaker 1)
and China will not replace that. You better believe they will not under Donald Trump replace that in any way, shape or form. At the same time, we have an antiquated financial system in this country. There’s no question about that. If I want to send a wire to you, Clay, it would, you know, it’s gonna probably show up tomorrow at some point.

(Speaker 1)
If you want to buy a watch from somebody in Switzerland, you know, good luck coordinating two banks, and make that transaction happy. First of all, it’s gonna take you forever. The money will probably get lost, you’ll get crammed down with fees. And you’d probably take cash over to Switzerland and get that watch before the actual transaction was completed. And so I’m a big believer in the crypto world.

(Speaker 1)
I believe in DeFi, decentralized finance. I don’t think that there’s anything on blockchain that can’t be done better. That can be done in these major financial institutions. I think half the space that they consume is a total waste. They’re still on paper,

(Speaker 1)
no different than every doctor’s office in this country. Why are you filling out manual kind of credit applications if you want to go get a home loan? If I’ve got five times the amount of assets over the value of my home. Why am I waiting 120 days and doing know your customers

(Speaker 1)
and doing all this nonsense and giving them every single detail in my life in order to borrow a couple of bucks so I can buy my first house or a young couple can buy their first business. It’s absolutely insane.

(Speaker 1)
The financial system is slow, it’s costly, it’s antiquated. It doesn’t function, it still operates on nine to five, and it makes no sense in the days of kind of modern cryptocurrencies and frankly, just modern technology. And so it’s a project I spend a lot of time on right now.

(Speaker 1)
We’re building out one of the great kind of DeFi, CeFi networks in cryptocurrency called World Liberty Financial. But ultimately the goal is to kind of replace traditional financial systems and make them a hell of a lot better, function better,

(Speaker 1)
and a hell of a lot more efficient and cheaper and user-friendly. And by the way, less punitive to the little guy, right? I mean, Robert and I have a hell of a lot better advantage of getting traditional financing than, you know, somebody that doesn’t have nearly as many zeros

(Speaker 1)
on their balance sheet as we do. And, you know, that shouldn’t be the case. And so that’s my one and a half minutes feel on where I sit on the US dollar and the future of finance.

(Speaker 5)
And that’s World Liberty Financial, correct?

(Speaker 3)
World Liberty Financial?

(Speaker 31)
That’s right.

(Speaker 3)
OK. Robert Kiyosaki, final question for you, sir. Again, you know, Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, most people haven’t heard this before. They are hoarding the earth’s gold in preparation for trying to unseed the US dollar as the world’s reserve currency. President Trump says it’s not going to happen. What are your thoughts on these countries hoarding gold and the future of money. Well money is very important. I sit here with this in front of me every day. It’s 10

(Speaker 3)
million dollars Zimbabwe dollars. And if we do get some integrity in that dollar which Donald J. Trump will bring it to it. We’re in trouble. So we’ve got to get integrity back in the dollar. And I’m old enough. This is a 1964 Kennedy half dollar. I mean, I think it’s a half dollar. It’s the last silver coin we had. And what happened in 71 was Nixon took the dollar off the gold standard, and the dollar became debt. And so debt is out of control now. So I’m really proud of Donald J. Trump and the Trump family

(Speaker 3)
because we’ve got to put integrity back in our money. If we don’t do that, the bricks will run all over us.

(Speaker 1)
Yeah. Eric, can I just jump in there for one second? I mean, so much, you know, I don’t care who you are around the world, you want the US dollar. They tried to create a stablecoin over in Europe and guess what? It backed by obviously one-to-one kind of digital currency

(Speaker 1)
based on the Euro. And guess what? Less than 1% of Europeans wanted the European stablecoin. Guess what they wanted? They wanted the US dollar. Go try and sell the yen or any of the Asian currencies over in Asia, guess what? They don’t want it. You know what they want? They want the US dollar.

(Speaker 1)
Go down to South America, go to Argentina, go to any of these places. They don’t want their pesos. They don’t want their currencies. You know what they want? They want the US dollar.

(Speaker 1)
That’s a beautiful thing for this country. And that’s what’s gonna save our currency. And we have the greatest currency in the world. The problem, as Robert alluded to, is when you’re sending trillions and trillions of dollars on absolutely nothing a year, when you’re sending $200 billion every two minutes

(Speaker 1)
over to Zelensky over Ukraine, so that beautiful young Russian and Ukrainian boys can shoot each other in the head at point blank ranges and trenches. When you fail to invest in your own infrastructure, when you fail to invest in your own country, when you become, you know, kind of drunk pirates

(Speaker 1)
in the way that you spend in your fiscal responsibility, you know, that’s what causes that Zimbabwe dollar. And by the way, Robert, since you held up that, you know, that, you know, $10 million note, you know, it’s probably worth half of that in the last 10 minutes since we’ve spoken because our inflation is absolutely out of control. Biden allowed that to happen. He allowed that to happen with the war on energy. He allowed that to happen with his reckless spending.

(Speaker 1)
We have to have normalized inflation, 1.5% inflation, 1% inflation, max 2% inflation. We’ve got to get back to the fundamentals of our economy. And we can do so as long as we stop the BS. That’s exactly what you’ve seen over the last week. The bullshit has ended and that’s gonna prop up this US economy.

(Speaker 3)
Eric, and I was in Zimbabwe when it collapsed. I was on a hunting trip out there and they call them the war vets. They started taking over white farmers’ ranches and things like this.

(Speaker 14)
It’s terrible.

(Speaker 1)
If you go to Victoria Falls and you’ve been there and I’ve been there, but if you go to Victoria Falls, you can literally, as you walk across the falls, you’ll have some kid come up and ask you for $1 to sell you like a $1 trillion Zimbabwean out. And it’s because they had compounding, you know, thousand percent inflation over and

(Speaker 1)
over and over again on a monthly basis for a period of 15 years. And it can’t happen. We can’t allow that to happen to the United States of America. Listen, we lose the entire value of our country if we’re not this, you know, if we’re not the predominant sought after currency of the world. That’s why BRICS is a massive threat to the United States. The good news is we’re still the biggest economy. Everybody wants to trade with the United States because not only are we the largest economy, but we’ve got the most wealth. We consume the most products.

(Speaker 1)
Congratulations. You want to try and embrace BRICS, we’re not gonna trade with you, we’re not gonna buy your crap, we’re not gonna buy your product, congratulations, those countries are out of business, right? And anytime anybody kind of is critical of these tariff threats or tariff wars,

(Speaker 1)
I can’t tell you how effective they’ve been because they’ve stopped that in its tracks. They stopped in its tracks because guess what? Brinks isn’t more important to those countries than the United States consumer. It’s just not.

(Speaker 1)
The United States consumer will win every single day because it’s more powerful. And it’s nice to see that come to kind of a screeching halt. But Robert, throw some fire in on this one because I know you’re incredibly passionate about this topic. Yeah, I’m very passionate.

(Speaker 3)
When I was in Zimbabwe and it collapsed, I still have nightmares thinking about it. The whole place came apart. And then the warlords took over.

(Speaker 31)
Yeah.

(Speaker 3)
They started taking over white farmers’ ranches and all this. It was terrifying. I was there for like three weeks. So I was going, what the hell is happening? And I said, am I looking at America? As we keep printing money?

(Speaker 1)
Well, sad. So many of those so many of those countries, you know, kind of warlords took over, you know, farms and other things in so many cases, and that farmer knew every inch of that piece of property, they knew if they planted a soybean or corn or whatever their crop was, sunflowers, they knew exactly how it was gonna react

(Speaker 1)
based on the weather, based on, guess what? Their families had been doing it for 200 years. And all of a sudden these rebel groups came in, they confiscated the land. Oftentimes they killed the farmer. And all of a sudden the productivity of those farms

(Speaker 1)
went to hell because they didn’t have that institutional knowledge. It’s not surprising. You know, it’s somebody did a hostile takeover of the Trump organization. They probably wouldn’t know how to run the company. They wouldn’t know what to do. They’d probably be flying a little bit blind. And that’s what happened in those countries. And it was, it was horrible. So you see that saw the productivity of a country that was doing they had last time I checked, I think they had like a trillion dollar note, that trillion dollar note by you like a like a soda, like a gas. I mean, it’s unbelievable. I mean, their currency is absolutely it’s it’s it’s not it’s not worth the paper that is printed on but you know that’s hyperinflation and now it’s not going to happen to the United States. In fact the exact opposite is going to happen in the United States. We’re not. We’re going to build the value of our currency and make it strongest currency in the world. And and we can

(Speaker 1)
do that digitally as well through the crypto currencies which I think is one of the great saviors of of the American dollar.

(Speaker 3)
I’m heading for Zimbabwe this summer and it’s sad because when the warlords took over, production dropped. And that made it exacerbated. It just got worse and worse. And they haven’t recovered. And I was in South Africa talking to a group there. And this woman stood up, and she was from Zimbabwe.

(Speaker 3)
She says, you South Africans don’t see it. The same thing’s happening here. Do you know what I mean? And I said that to Americans if we don’t protect our currency the country goes. So that’s what what your dad and your family is doing. Make America great again. We’ve got to protect our currency because we keep printing it running up massive debt. We’re finished too. Eric I want to.

(Speaker 3)
I want to respect the time that you and Robert have and I want to make sure I direct people to take some strong calls to action. So first off, if you’re wanting to know what you can pray for Eric Trump about, just go to his Twitter. Go to x.com forward slash Eric Trump and just read the comments and then therefore people will know what to pray for you about there, Eric. But again, you’re a very measured man on your social media. It’s a great place to follow you there. That’s x.com forward slash Eric dash Trump.

(Speaker 3)

Yes, I’ll pull it up real quick here.

(Speaker 3)
Let me pull it up right now. And here we go, pulling it up and scrolling it down.

(Speaker 5)
There we go. Yep.

(Speaker 1)
My final take to all the people out there is Clay picked the absolute worst picture of me that I’ve that picture. You’ve got better pictures of yourself. But look how good Robert looks, and look how good that other guy on the right looks.

(Speaker 1)
Look how bad Clay looks, and look how bad I look.

(Speaker 14)
Come on, Clay.

(Speaker 13)
Listen, listen.

(Speaker 3)
I have a poster in my office that you’ve seen, Eric. It’s right behind me on my glass screen, right behind my glass window here. And it says, I quoted you, it’s Eric Quote, and it says, my name is Eric Trump and I haven’t approved this message, but I might if I’ve read it and I’ll still find something wrong with it.

(Speaker 3)
So I appreciate your eye for detail. And that will be fixed here with-

(Speaker 1)
You’re blurry, Clay, look at you, you’re blurry.

(Speaker 3)
And you look angry. zoom angle, but we’ll fix it in 90 seconds. Okay, so Robert Kiyosaki, sir, what’s your

(Speaker 2)
final word there, sir?

(Speaker 3)
Oh, the most important you have is your education, you know, what you put in your head. So we’ve always constantly importing data and information. So that’s why I’m looking forward to Tulsa, because I go there to learn also. I’m not one of these speakers who knows it all. I come to learn. So I ask that you come to Tulsa and learn to learn.

(Speaker 13)
Thank you.

(Speaker 3)
Thank you guys so much for carving out time. Eric, I’ll send you an updated flyer in T-minus 30 minutes and you will love it. And no Photoshop will be needed. I’ll just find a great photo of your cranium and we’ll get that updated for you.

(Speaker 1)
Love you, buddy. Take care, Robert. Great seeing both of you.

(Speaker 4)
I would have to say that at first, it did seem overwhelming, but the more I get familiar with all the little things that the coach is telling us to do, the more I embrace it and it becomes like a natural. It seems natural to me now.

(Speaker 4)
These are not things that I learned in business school or anywhere else. It’s pretty amazing to me how you could follow your, almost like a recipe in baking a cake. You follow the recipe and it works. And we have the growth to provide.

(Speaker 4)
Now, I say that we’re growing and we have new car washes in our little town, it’s only 80,000 people. And we have two competitive car washes and still our numbers are growing. So that’s proves to me that not only do they work, but they work regardless of what the business environment is.

(Speaker 4)
If you follow these steps and do the way you and your company

(Speaker 3)
lays it out to us, then it’s going to be successful. Well, hopefully you know this and you feel this and this has become true for you. But we deeply care about you and your success. You personally, I appreciate you carving out time and for anybody who’s watching this conversation,

(Speaker 3)
helping people like Larry is what we like to do. It’s just, it’s an honor because money’s a magnifier and money just allows people to be more of who they are. And I’m telling you folks, if you’re somebody that’s got ministry aspirations or you just wanna be a consistent tither,

(Speaker 3)
or you want to be somebody who can put your kids through school, or you want to, whatever it is you want to do, money, unfortunately or fortunately, allows us to do that. And so you’ve got to build a successful company. And to do that, it’s not just one thing.

(Speaker 3)
And so I would encourage anybody out there Hey, if you’re in the area and you want to schedule a time to visit the car wash It may it may become a tourist attraction over time. Who knows check out East Ridge car wash net That’s East Ridge car wash net and if you want to schedule a free consultation with myself You just go to thrive timeshow.com you can schedule that free consultation and we always have a workshop Coming up you I usually do four to six a year, four to six a year. This is my 20th year doing these business workshops.

(Speaker 3)
So our next one, which is coming up, I’m not sure when people will see this particular broadcast, but coming up here in March, we’ve got Robert Kiyosaki, the best-selling author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad. We have Eric Trump, Robert Kiyosaki’s financial advisor will be there and so many other great folks.

(Speaker 3)
Larry, I’ll give you the final word, sir. You got the final 30 seconds. What say you?

(Speaker 4)
Well, we already have our tickets for the workshop. My wife and I go, and we’re taking one of our lead men. So I recommend that as a place to jump off, meet people of your same, kind of like your same tribe. You have a business and you want to do better. And this is the place to go to get that inspiration

(Speaker 4)
and do some networking and then just learn procedures that actually work in their business.

(Speaker 3)
Folks, Napoleon Hill, the best-selling author of Think and Grow Rich, he once said that, a goal is a dream with a deadline. A goal is a dream with a deadline. And I think there’s somebody watching today’s show that you feel like maybe this is your year,

(Speaker 3)
or maybe you think, I don’t know if this is my year, maybe my business is stuck. And if you’re watching today’s show, the purpose of today’s show is to encourage you that you too can get your business unstuck. And to join us today, we have as our featured guest,

(Speaker 3)
as our success story, is the founder of Eastridgecarwash.net. That’s the founder of Eastridgecarwash.net. With that being said, Larry, welcome to the Thrive Time Show. How are you, sir?

(Speaker 4)
I’m great. Thank you.

(Speaker 3)
So first off, tell us, what made you

(Speaker 1)
get into the car wash business?

(Speaker 4)
Well, I used to be in the sign business. And we sold signs to car washes all throughout the country. And I really liked the industry. So I jumped out from the sign business into the car wash business.

(Speaker 3)
And Larry, just so people can verify you’re not a hologram,

(Speaker 1)
what’s your last name, sir?

(Speaker 4)
Edwards.

(Speaker 3)
Edwards, OK. And how did you first hear about our program or the business growth incubator that we have here?

(Speaker 4)
Through some friends, the Whiteheads on the flyover conservators.

(Speaker 3)
And so we’ve had the opportunity to work with you for a while here. And you’ve been having some success. But I think it’s not a get-rich-quick scheme. It’s consistency. I mean, you provide value for your customers.

(Speaker 3)
You provide great car wash services in exchange for profits. And we’re just helping you do that at a faster rate. Could you share with the listeners out there, what are the products and services that you guys offer there at EastridgeCarWash.net?

(Speaker 4)
Well, we are what’s called an exterior car wash where we don’t do the insides, but we do have vacuums available for the customers to use free of charge. And it’s a tunnel wash, 165 foot conveyor. So it’s larger than most.

(Speaker 4)
And we’re noted for high quality and speed.

(Speaker 3)
So I’m going to unpack the growth that you’ve had kind of line by line. We’ll go through about 12 items in 10 minutes, and I want to get your thoughts on these. So first off, it appears as though you’ve been able to increase the number of members

(Speaker 3)
that you have that are members of your car wash since we’ve been able to work with you. Could you talk about the growth that you’ve seen there, sir?

(Speaker 4)
Well, when we started with you all, Carter is my coach. And we went from 350, if I remember correctly, to 1,500 plus members. Now, every winter, for some reason, we lose club members because some people go South for the winter.

(Speaker 4)
So we expect the cancellations. We have 18 cancellations so far, but we sold 24 new ones. So we have a plus a gain there, even though we lost 18 people going to Texas or going to Arizona or Florida, wherever they go. So that has been something we learned last year. And we see it recurring

(Speaker 4)
again this year. So that’s just part of doing business.

(Speaker 3)
So you’ve been able to grow from 300 to 1,500 members. I want to get your thoughts on this. Now, to do that, we had to team up with you to build a website. Your website, I’m going to pull it up here for anybody who’s in the area. I encourage them to check it out. What areas do you service there at Eastridgecarwash.net?

(Speaker 4)
Well, we service pretty much all of St. Joseph. It’s not a huge town. We deal with, or we have a lot of customers coming from towns around, we have college towns, Maryville, Chillicothe to the east, and a lot of farm communities. So we don’t just wash cars like in a large city, we would do mostly cars, but where we’re at,

(Speaker 4)
we’re only 15 minutes away from a farm country. So we get a lot of big farm trucks and mud. And so we have to be versatile to wash a Corvette

(Speaker 3)
and a mud truck right behind it. Now, working with you, one of the things that we’ve tried to do is just get you more business, I mean, help you reach more customers, and that’s a big part of it.

(Speaker 3)
When people now do a search for a car wash, St. Joe, Missouri, You now are in the conversation, Eastridge Car Wash. You guys are now in the conversation. Your website is now in the conversation. You’re now relevant when people are searching in those search results.

(Speaker 3)
You now are coming up at the top or near the top of the search results. What kind of impact has that made on your business being top in the search engine ranking and having a website that comes up top

(Speaker 20)
in those search engine ranking and having a website that comes up top in those search results?

(Speaker 4)
Well, we’ve enjoyed a growth in our club membership and a growth in our new people, new customers. And we keep track of that. And we try to keep track of the source, like how did they hear about us obviously.

(Speaker 18)
And most of everything everybody that comes in that’s new is word of mouth.

(Speaker 3)
So we do have advertising, we have television and some radio, mostly our Google web page I guess is the place where people search to see how we’re rated and ranked. And so I believe the last time we look, we were the most highest rated and most reviewed car wash in

(Speaker 4)
St. Joseph.

(Speaker 3)
Amen to that. Now, money is a magnifier. So if you’re watching today’s show, you know, money is a magnifier, it helps you just have more money. So you can do more of the things that you believe God’s called you to do. And I know you guys are a great family-owned business there. I want to ask you this.

(Speaker 3)
You know, once you start getting more leads, then we have to do these online ads. And that’s kind of a tedious technical process where our team manages and maintains those ads that are running for you. Could you talk about what it’s like to know that you’re paying a team a flat rate every month to do what they do, as opposed to, I know in my life, en route to growing many, many companies, there were vendors that, you know, there wasn’t a flat rate. Every time you called the web guy, it was a $250 charge.

(Speaker 3)
Every time you called the video guy, it was a $500 charge. Every time you wanted to get something done, it would take two months. Could you talk about the peace of mind that that has given you or not given you, working with our team, knowing that it’s a flat rate?

(Speaker 4)
Well, I’ve had the same experience that some companies that we deal with now will vary the billing and the rates. And it’s almost like whatever they felt like they should charge that particular day or week. And we never know how to budget or how to prepare for the next bill. And so having a set rate with you and your company is very

(Speaker 4)
comforting in that I can I can budget for it. I can plan on it. I know what to expect there. So yeah, that is a great comfort.

(Speaker 3)
Now, my understanding is you’re needing to hire some people, or you are hiring people. Your business is growing, and therefore, you need to always be hiring wonderful people. And you guys have a standard of excellence that you want to provide to the marketplace.

(Speaker 3)
I know we’ve begun implementing the hiring process with your brand, what we call the group interview process or the hiring process. Could you talk about the impact on your business that’s had implementing the hiring processes?

(Speaker 4)
Yes, we have lost three key players just since we’ve started with you. Two managers and our bookkeeper that have been with us for 16 years. So we had to replace all those people and plus the normal comings and goings of the workers. So the the group interview has been a an amazing improvement in hiring for us, because we’ve always had difficulties finding that A player or someone that we can rely on

(Speaker 4)
because it is a hard work for the guys in the tunnel, but we do have an office and we do have other things. And so we have to get a variety of talents. And when we do the group interview, we are able to spot the difference between the likely workers for one area and the other.

(Speaker 4)
So it’s been a really good improvement for us to do it that way.

(Speaker 3)
Now, you’re in the Kansas City area, so I’m not sure if you’re a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, but I know that for people that are a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, most people look at the scoreboard like it matters. They know that their team is ahead or their team is behind. And most people know what down it is.

(Speaker 3)
They know how many minutes are left in the game. There’s a public scoreboard. Unfortunately, in many small businesses, there’s not a scoreboard. So people don’t know, is the company losing? Is the company winning?

(Speaker 3)
Are we getting ahead? how much time is left. My understanding is that we’ve worked with implementing a scoreboard system or maybe accountability, a tracking system where people know where they stand. Could you talk about the impact that that system has made on your business?

(Speaker 4)
Yes, we have a whiteboard in our office in a location where everyone has to walk past. And we’re keeping a score on the sales department and some of the other details that we have. When we first put it up, we were having a lot of pushback

(Speaker 4)
on people trying to get Google reviews. And once we started keeping track, then all of a sudden all the sales staff really stepped up their game and started getting better numbers because they could see that

(Speaker 4)
maybe my numbers weren’t quite as good as the next guy. So I’m gonna try harder and it worked very well for us.

(Speaker 3)
Now, signage. I know a huge thing for a business like yours that has a physical location. And so many of our listeners have businesses that have physical locations. About half of our clients have physical locations.

(Speaker 3)
The other half does not. The other half has a virtual or online business of some kind. Could you talk about the signage and the importance of doing? We’ve worked together to optimize the signage so that it’s very obvious that you exist. And hopefully you can grab the attention of your ideal and

(Speaker 3)
likely buyers as they drive by there, sir.

(Speaker 4)
Well, we, our coach talked to us about the purple cow concept and we tried to figure out what to put out there, whether it would be a 15 foot gorilla or something to be different. And what we’ve come up with recently is a car wash professor concept with our television advertising. So that’s going to be our mascot.

(Speaker 4)
And we are in the works of having a 14 foot tall professor cut out. And that will be to take the place of the purple cow or the 15-foot gorilla. We’re going to have the professor. So that way, we can use that as our mascot

(Speaker 4)
throughout all our advertising and kind of maybe put us on the map a little bit more than our

(Speaker 3)
regular signage. Now final two questions for you sir and I really do appreciate you carving out time for us is again if you’re watching today’s show and you have a business and you just feel like it’s stuck I get it trust me folks I talk to at least five to ten wonderful entrepreneurs a day who call me and say Clay I feel stuck in, I’ll give you an example, folks. Just switching gears, one of our clients is called Revitalize Medical Spa.

(Speaker 3)
And these guys, they’re called Revitalize Medical Spa. I never want to hop on a show like this and exaggerate the growth of what they do or how they’ve done, but I believe this company is now three times larger than where they were just a couple of years ago. I mean, I know they’re at least three times larger than where

(Speaker 3)
they were a couple of years ago. And I think somebody out there, Larry, they’re feeling stuck. And there’s somebody out there, they might have a medical spa. I think about one of our longtime clients, Kola Fitness there in Missouri. They have a gym based in Missouri.

(Speaker 3)
They have gyms all over the country called colawfitness.com. They once felt stuck, and now they’re growing. I know of a brand oxyfresh, O-X-I fresh.com. We’ve had the opportunity to serve them. They’ve now grown to 550 locations, from a handful of locations to 550 locations. And I’m trying to give people different examples

(Speaker 3)
because people always think, well, my industry is different. One of our clients, Grillblazer.com, this is a consumer-grade blowtorch that is primarily sold online. We’ve helped him to grow dramatically. One of the speakers at the last in-person Thrive Time Show workshops, Jill Donovan, Rustic Cuff.

(Speaker 3)
We’ve had the pleasure to serve her and help her with her apparel and her custom cuffs that she sells primarily online. I think of brands like Winter’s King, the law firm we’ve had the opportunity to work with for over a decade, wintersking.com. And I could sit there and rattle off examples of clients that we’ve worked with and that we do work with. And at the end of the day, I want to encourage somebody out there that this is the year to

(Speaker 3)
do it. You can do it, you can do it. What do you say, Larry, to somebody out there that’s a little hesitant about coming to a workshop and or scheduling a free 13-point assessment with me?

(Speaker 4)
Well, I’ll address the workshop first. I’ve been to four, and I always come away motivated and full of new ideas. And I come back to our company, I implement those ideas, then I go back to the next one and get filled up with more good ideas.

(Speaker 4)
So I highly recommend those. And then as far as the weekly coaching, we were a little reluctant at first. And Carter had to spank us a few times to get us to do things that didn’t seem logical. And then all of a sudden it clicked

(Speaker 4)
and we started doing the things that he was asking us to do. And so surprisingly to me, these things work. These things that we can track, our lead tracking, we can do all sorts of things that we weren’t doing before. And because of our position in Google and going after Google reviews, which that never crossed my mind before,

(Speaker 4)
but now we’re doing it and we’re getting, sometimes we trade places. Yesterday we were in the number one slot. Today we see that Brand X is in number one, but we jump back and forth. But we’re fourth when we first looked at it, we’re in the fourth position. And so now we’re one and two depending, depending on the day. But our growth, our sales is up annually 33% and our monthly increase is 42%

(Speaker 4)
so that we’ve broken records every month except November. Every month this year so far, so January through October, we set monthly records And we’re going to be doing a monthly report. Every month. So we’re going to be doing a monthly report. Every month, every month, every month, every month. So January through November. Every month this year so far. So January through.

(Speaker 4)
October we set monthly records. And we were on a. Of course. And we’re very weather related. So should we get. Decent weather we’ll finish out with the most cars washed this year than we’ve ever done. So obviously the revenue goes up, the more cars we wash, the more the revenue goes up. So all these things that we’re implementing

(Speaker 4)
that Coach Carter has been telling us to do

(Speaker 2)
is starting to pay out.

(Speaker 3)
Now, the final two questions I have here for you, or I guess the final question I have here for you is, there’s sales training. We work with your team on sales training. And we work with your team on search engine optimization. We work with your team on running these online ads.

(Speaker 3)
We work with your team on signage. And it’s a process. And just like growing a garden, you have to sow the seeds, continue to water the seeds, pull the weeds. It is a process. And I think people want success to be an event.

(Speaker 3)
I’m sure our listeners don’t want success to be an event, but other people want success to be an event. They want it to be hit the button, growth happens. They don’t want to embrace the process. And I know you’re a guy who embraces the process. Could you talk about the sales process,

(Speaker 3)
just working with your team on a consistent basis, training the members of your team on a consistent basis to become the best salespeople that they can be?

(Speaker 4)
Well, we have a sales meeting every week. We do have huddles, and sometimes the sales staff doesn’t get in the huddle because the car wash crews are more of a huddle type circumstance. But when we have our Thursday meetings, sales meetings, we go over anything new that we would have. Plus we do some role playing and are trying to increase the effectiveness of the sales effort. We’re a little different in that a lot of my competitors

(Speaker 4)
have automatic tellers where you don’t speak to a human, you just punch a button, put in a credit card and go on. And we are old school so that we have a window with a real human and every interaction there is with a human. So we try to keep that touch going.

(Speaker 4)
And the feedback that we get from the customers is one of my, is the best way for me to know how they’re doing. And people don’t tell me how wonderful my car wash equipment is. They always tell me how amazing the staff is.

(Speaker 4)
They tell me that the girls always really take good care of them and the sales and that the guys are always smiling and they’re hustling. And so I get a lot of feedback about the people and nothing about the people and nothing about the equipment because if it comes out clean, they don’t

(Speaker 4)
care what I had in there. So it’s the people that really make

(Speaker 3)
the difference. You know, 100% of our sales. I agree with having me to cut you off. I will say I agree with you. And I think that what you’re doing here, and I hope that our listeners are picking up on this. People say, what’s the most important ingredient to growing a successful company?

(Speaker 3)
Is it the marketing?

(Speaker 29)
Yes.

(Speaker 3)
Is it the branding? Yes. Is it the customer service? Yes. Is it the sales training? Yes.

(Speaker 3)
Is it the customer wowing experience?

(Speaker 30)
Yes.

(Speaker 3)
Is it hiring good people?

(Speaker 20)
Yes.

(Speaker 3)
Is it the daily huddles? Yes. Is it the new signage? Yes. What it is, is it’s implementing all of those ingredients or all of those processes simultaneously. It’s like a big symphony of commerce.

(Speaker 3)
And each part of the business is a different instrument. I want to get your thoughts here in the final 60 seconds we have for you. How would you describe what the process has been like, having a coach on a weekly meeting that has worked with you to implement all of these systems

(Speaker 3)
simultaneously because it could seem overwhelming for somebody on the outside who’s hearing about you implementing all of these

(Speaker 4)
systems simultaneously. Well I would have to say that at first it did seem overwhelming, but the more I get familiar with all the little things that the coach is telling us to do, the more I embrace it and it becomes like a natural. It seems natural to me now. These are not things that I learned in business school or anywhere else. It’s pretty amazing to me how you could follow your, almost like a recipe in baking a cake.

(Speaker 4)
You follow the recipe and it works. And we have the growth to provide. Now, I say that we’re growing and we have new car washes in our little town. It’s only 80,000 people. We have two competitive car washes and still our numbers are growing.

(Speaker 4)
That proves to me that not only do they work, but they work regardless of what the business environment is. If you follow these steps and do the way you and your company lays it out to us,

(Speaker 3)
then it’s gonna be successful. Well, hopefully you know this and you feel this and this has become true for you, but we deeply care about you and your success. You personally, I appreciate you carving out time. And for anybody who’s watching this conversation,

(Speaker 3)

Who knows? Check out eastridgecarwash.net.

(Speaker 3)
That’s eastridgecarwash.net. And if you want to schedule a free consultation with myself, you just go to thrivetimeshow.com. You can schedule that free consultation. And we always have a workshop coming up. I usually do four to six a year, four to six a year.

Well, we already have our tickets for the workshop.

(Speaker 4)
My wife and I go and we’re taking one of our lead men. So I recommend that as a place to jump off, meet people of your same, kind of like your same tribe. You have a business and you want to do better. And this is the place to go to get that inspiration and do some networking and then just learn procedures

(Speaker 2)
that actually work in their business.

(Speaker 3)
Amen, Larry. Thank you so much for carving out time for us. Have a great rest of your day, sir

(Speaker 29)
Thank you, too. Bye. Bye

(Speaker 1)
Late Clark is here somewhere. Where’s my buddy play? Play is the greatest I met his goats today. I met his dogs. I met his chickens. I saw his compound

(Speaker 25)
He’s like the greatest guy ran from his goats his chickens his dogs

(Speaker 23)
So this guy’s like the greatest marketer you ran from his goats, his chickens, his dogs.

(Speaker 6)
So this guy’s like the greatest marketer you’ve ever seen, right? His entire life, Clay Clark, his entire life is marketing. My name is Kevin Thomas and the name of our company is MultiClean. We are a commercial janitorial service and we serve the entire state of Oklahoma and Kansas, and soon to be Arkansas. We have probably grown probably five times. We’ve added, I think when we first started with you, we had 60 to 65 employees, and now we have a little over 300 employees.

(Speaker 6)
Before we got involved with Thrive Time, we didn’t really have any systems or processes in place. I’ve probably been to, oh, in six, seven years, I’ve probably been to 12 to 13 business conferences. And amazingly, each time I go, I learn something new and I’m so excited to bring it back and show the team

(Speaker 6)
about marketing and how to implement.

(Speaker 3)
OK, Aaron Antis, September 25 and 26, guess who’s coming back to Tulsa? I will give you a hint. His first name is Eric. And his last name is Trump. And his father is the 47th president

(Speaker 3)
of these United States. Yes, Eric Trump is joining us once again here September 25th and 26th in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the two-day interactive Thrive Time Show Business Growth Workshop. But Eric Trump is bringing friends. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Alina Haba will be joining Eric Trump right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Amanda Grace will be in the place. Dr. Stella Emanuel will be here in T-Town in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

(Speaker 3)
Julie Green will be on the scene. Mel K will be here to say hey. Dave Scarlett from the His Glory team will be here. It’s going to be a blasty blast right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. If you want to start or grow a super successful company, if you want to make your wallet great again or make your wallet great for the first time,

(Speaker 3)
if you want to learn marketing, systems, scaling, human resources, accounting, social media, branding, search engine optimization, sales training, financial management, and more, get your tickets right now at Thrivetimeshow.com. Once again, that’s Thrivetimeshow.com. A lot of people don’t know this, but the Trump Organization has thousands of employees. There’s not 50 employees. The Trump Organization, again, most people don’t know this,

(Speaker 3)
but the Trump Organization has thousands of employees. And while Donald J. Trump was the 45th president of these United States, he needed a competent man to run and execute his business plans.

(Speaker 9)
Showtime!

(Speaker 3)
So the man that runs the Trump Organization for Donald J. Trump as he was the 45th president of the United States and now the 47th president of the United States is Eric Trump. So Eric Trump is here to talk about time management, promoting from within, marketing, branding, quality

(Speaker 3)
control, sales systems, workflow design, workflow mapping, how to build. I mean, everything that you see, the Trump hotels, the Trump golf courses, all their products, the man who manages billions of dollars of real estate

(Speaker 5)
and thousands of employees is here to teach us how to do it. You are talking about one of the greatest brands on the planet from a business standpoint. I mean, who else has been able to create a brand like the Trump brand? I mean, look at it. And this is the man behind the business for the last pretty much since 2015. He’s been the man behind it. So you’re talking, we’re into nine going into 10 years of him running it. And we get

(Speaker 3)
to tap into that knowledge. That’s going to gonna be amazing now think about this for a second but play Clark man he is one

(Speaker 26)
character it’s a good word for a character yeah that is it good driven

(Speaker 3)
smart and I’ve never met a guy who was so hyper all the time. He’s doing so much good. And then I met his mother and she just says, she just lets him be Clay Clark. I mean, so he’s endorsed by his mother and he’s doing magnificent work. So it was great meeting you out there

(Speaker 3)
and all the people that he surrounds himself with. His Clay Clark starts his days at five o’clock in the morning.

(Speaker 26)
Yeah. He he’s, he’s like, he’s, he’s a machine.

(Speaker 28)
He’s a machine.

(Speaker 3)
But his, you know, I could, I have problems with my company at starting at nine o’clock. Yes. Hundreds of people showing up at 5. AM in Tulsa, Oklahoma, man. He’s a leader of a leader.

(Speaker 14)
He’s fantastic.

(Speaker 27)
Yeah, man.

(Speaker 26)
No, he is.

(Speaker 3)
The lineup continues to grow and this is how we do our tickets here at the thrive time show. If you want to get a VIP ticket, you can absolutely do it. It’s $500 for a VIP ticket. We’ve always done it that way. Now, if you want to take a general the reason why I do that and the reason why we do that is because we want to make our events affordable for everybody.

(Speaker 3)
I grew up without money. I totally understand what it’s like to be in a tight spot. So if you want to attend, it’s $250 or whatever price you want to pay. That’s how I do it. And it’s $500 for a VIP ticket.

(Speaker 3)
Now, we only have limited seating here. in this building was for the Jim Brewer presentation. Jim Brewer came here, the legendary comedian Jim Brewer came to Tulsa, and we had 419 people that were here. 419 people. And I thought to myself, there’s no more room. I felt kind of bad that a couple people had VIP seats in the men’s restroom.

(Speaker 3)
Oh, no, I’m just kidding. So I thought, you know what, we should probably add on.

(Speaker 1)
Clay Clark is here somewhere. Where’s my buddy Clay? Yeah, Clay Clark!

(Speaker 18)
Congratulations.

(Speaker 1)
Clay’s the greatest. I met his goats today. I met his dogs. I met his chickens. I saw his compound. He’s like the greatest guy.

(Speaker 25)
I ran from his goats, his chickens, his dogs.

(Speaker 24)
So this guy’s like the greatest marketer

(Speaker 1)
you’ve ever seen, right?

(Speaker 3)
His entire life Clay Clark his entire life is marketing so again if you want to get tickets for this event all you have to do is go to thrive timeshow.com go to thrive timeshow.com when you go to thrive timeshow.com you’ll go there you’ll request a ticket boom or if you want to text me if you want a little bit faster service you say I want you to call me right now I just texted my number. That’s my cell phone number. My personal cell phone number. We’ll keep that private between you, between you, me,

(Speaker 5)
everybody.

(Speaker 3)
We’ll keep that private. And anybody, don’t share that with anybody except for everybody. That’s my private cell phone number. It’s 918-851-0102. 918-851-0102.

(Speaker 3)
I know we have a lot of Spanish-speaking people that attend these conferences. And so to be bilingually sensitive, my cell phone number is 918-851-0102.

(Speaker 5)
That is not actually bilingual. That’s just saying Quan for a one.

(Speaker 23)
It’s not the same thing.

(Speaker 3)
I think you’re attacking me. Now, let’s talk about this.

(Speaker 5)
Now, what kind of stuff will you learn at the Thrive Time Show workshop? So Aaron, you’ve been to many of these

(Speaker 3)
over the past seven, eight years. So let’s talk about it. I’ll tee up the thing and then you tell me what you’re going to learn here.

(Speaker 22)
Okay.

(Speaker 21)
Okay.

(Speaker 3)
You’re going to learn marketing, marketing, and branding. What are we going to learn about marketing and branding?

(Speaker 21)
Oh yeah.

(Speaker 5)
We’re going to dive into, you know, so many people say, Oh, you know, I got to get my brand known out there like the Trump brand, right? How do I actually make people know what my business is and make it a household name? You’re going to learn some intricacies

(Speaker 21)
of how you can do that.

(Speaker 3)
You’re going to learn sales. So many people struggle to sell something. This just in, your business will go to hell if you can’t sell. So we’re going to teach you sales. We’re going to teach you search engine optimization, how to come up top in the search engine results.

(Speaker 3)
We’re going to teach you how to manage people. Aaron, you have managed, no exaggeration, hundreds of people throughout your career and thousands of contractors. And most people struggle with managing people.

(Speaker 5)
Why does everybody have to learn how to manage people? Well, because first of all, you either have great people or you have people who suck. And so it can be a challenge. Learning how to work with a large group of people and get everybody pulling in the same direction can be a challenge. But if you have the right systems,

(Speaker 5)
you have the right processes and you’re really good at selecting great ones. And we have a process we teach about how to find great people. When you start with the people who have a great attitude, they’re teachable, they’re driven, all of those things, then you can get those people all pulling in the

(Speaker 17)
same direction.

(Speaker 5)
So we’re going to teach you branding, marketing, sales, search engine optimization. We’re going to teach you accounting. We’re going to teach you personal finance, how to manage your finance. We’re going to teach you time management. How do you manage your time? How do you get more done during a typical day? How do you build an organization if you’re not organized? How do you do organization? How do you build an org chart? Everything that you need to know to start and grow a business will be taught during this two-day interactive business workshop. Now let me tell you how the format is set up here. And again, folks, this is a two-day interactive 15. Think about this, folks. It’s two days.

(Speaker 5)
Each day, it starts at 7 AM, and it goes until 5 PM. So from 7 AM to 5 PM, two days. It’s a two-day interactive workshop. The way we do it is we do a 30-minute teaching session, and then we break for 15 minutes for a question and answer session.

(Speaker 5)
So Aaron, what kind of great stuff happens during that 15- minute question and answer session after every teaching session? I actually think it’s the best part about the workshops because here’s what happens. I’ve been to lots of these things over the years. I’ve paid many thousands of dollars to go to them and you go in there and they talk in vague generalities and they’re constantly

(Speaker 5)
upselling you for something trying to get you to buy this thing or that thing or this program or this membership. And you don’t, you leave not getting your very specific questions answered about your business or your employees or what you’re doing on your marketing. And what’s awesome about this is we literally answer every single question that any person asks.

(Speaker 3)
And it’s very specific to what your business is. And what we do is we allow you as the attendee to write your questions on the whiteboard. And what we do is we allow you, as the attendee, to write your questions on the whiteboard. And then we literally, as you mentioned, we answer every single question on the whiteboard. And then we take a 15-minute break to stretch

(Speaker 3)
and to make it entertaining when you’re stretching. And this is a true story. When you get up and stretch, you’ll be greeted by mariachis. There’s going to probably be alpaca here, llamas, helicopter rides, a coffee bar, a snow cone.

(Speaker 5)
I mean, there’s just- You had a crocodile one time. That was pretty interesting. You know, I should write that down.

(Speaker 20)
And I can do that.

(Speaker 17)
Sorry for that one guy that we lost.

(Speaker 3)
The crocodile, we duct taped its face. So that, right, we duct taped- It was a baby crocodile.

(Speaker 5)
And we duct taped.

(Speaker 3)
Yeah, duct taped around the mouth so it didn’t bite anybody. But it was really cool to pass that thing around and pass it. I should do that. We have a small petting zoo that will be assembled. It’s going to be great. And then you’re in the company of hundreds of entrepreneurs. So there’s not a lot of people in America today.

(Speaker 3)
In fact, there’s less than 10 million people today, according to US Debt Clock, that identify as being self-employed. So if you have a country with 350 million people, that means you have less than 3% of our population that’s even self-employed. So you only have three out of every 100 people in America that are self-employed to begin with. And when Inc. Magazine reports that 96% of businesses

(Speaker 3)
fail by default, by default, you have a 1 out of 1,000 chance of succeeding in the game of business. But yet, the average client that you and I work with, we can typically double the size. No hyperbole, no exaggeration. I have thousands of testimonials to back this up. We have thousands of testimonials to back it up.

(Speaker 3)
But when you work with a home builder, when I work with a business owner, we can typically double the size of the company within 24 months. And you say double? Yeah, there’s businesses that we have tripled. There’s businesses we’ve grown 8x. There’s so many examples you can see at thrivetimeshow.com.

(Speaker 3)
But again, this is the most interactive best business workshop on the planet. This is objectively the highest rated and most reviewed business workshop on the planet.

(Speaker 11)
I was looking to learn how to take my business, like they’ve said today, from being very successful to being systematic. I’ve got a very successful practice in three different cities. Make good money. Just want

(Speaker 2)
to take it to the next level with systems and processes to where I can drive my cars

(Speaker 19)
more.

(Speaker 18)
Paul Hood.

(Speaker 4)
I’ve been a CPA for 33 years.

(Speaker 3)
And what kind of growth have you and your great team had here over the past, let’s say

(Speaker 10)
five, six years?

(Speaker 4)
The last five, when I met you five years ago, we were doing 3 million.

(Speaker 2)
This year we’ll be, we’ll do 24 million.

(Speaker 3)
And you say, Clay, I still, I’m not going to get a ticket unless you give me more. Okay, fine. We’re going to get a ticket unless you give me more. OK, fine. We’re going to serve you the same meal both days.

(Speaker 9)
True story.

(Speaker 3)
We cater in the food. And because I keep it simple, I literally bring in the same food both days for lunch. It’s Ted Esconzito’s, an incredible Mexican restaurant. That’s going to happen. And Jill Donovan, our good friend, who is the founder of Rustic Cuff. She started that company in her home,

(Speaker 3)
and now she sells millions of dollars of apparel and products. That’s rusticcuff.com. And someone says, I want more.

(Speaker 5)
This is not enough.

(Speaker 17)
Give me more.

(Speaker 3)
OK. I’m not going to mention their names right now, because I’m working on it behind the scenes here. But we’ve got one guy who’s given me a verbal to be here and this is a guy who’s one of the wealthiest people in Oklahoma and nobody really knows who he is because he’s built systems that are very utilitarian that offer a lot of value. He’s made a lot of money in the uh it’s the uh it’s where you rent it’s short it’s where you’re renting storage spaces. He’s a storage space guy he owns the

(Speaker 3)
what do you call that the rental rental, the… Storage space. Storage units. This guy owns storage units. He owns railroad cars. He owns a lot of assets that make money on a daily basis, but they’re not like customer facing.

(Speaker 3)
Most people don’t know who owns the mini storage facility or most people don’t know who owns the warehouse that’s passively making money. Most people don’t know who owns the warehouse that’s passively making money. Most people don’t know who owns the railroad cars. But this guy, he’s giving me a verbal that he will be here. And we just continue to add more and more success stories.

(Speaker 3)
So if you’re out there today and you want to change your life, you want to give yourself an incredible gift, you want a life-changing experience, you want to learn how to start and grow a company, go to Th timeshow.com. Go there right now, thrive timeshow.com. Request a ticket for the two day interactive event.

(Speaker 16)
Hey, how’s it going?

(Speaker 8)
I’m Thomas Crosson, owner and founder of Full Package Media in Dallas, Texas. I’ve been a coaching client with Clay Clark since the beginning of our business. We started about a year ago, August of last year. I had no clients, no idea what we were doing, no clue really what was going on.

(Speaker 8)
And now we’ve grown to where we’ve got six photographers, we’ve got office space here. I have an admin sales person that works for us full time, developing an online system. And a lot of that growth we attribute to Clay helping us. And there’s so many things that… No I mean his stuff is not, you know revolutionary. It’s not this crazy walk on hot coals and all this stuff

(Speaker 5)
It’s just real real stuff. It’s gonna be a blasty blast. There’s no upsells Aaron I could not be more excited about this event. I think it is incredible and there’s somebody out there right now You’re you’re watching and you’re like, but I already signed up for this incredible other program called Smoke Your Way to Thin. I think that’s going to change your life. I promise you this will be 10 times better than that.

(Speaker 15)
It’s like I picked the wrong week to quit smoking.

(Speaker 5)
Don’t do the Smoke Your Way to Thin conference. That is, I’ve tried it. Don’t do it. Yeah. I’ve tried it, don’t do it. Chain smoking is not a viable, I mean it is life changing.

(Speaker 14)
It is life changing.

(Speaker 3)
If you become a chain smoker, it is life changing.

(Speaker 5)
It’s not the best weight loss program though.

(Speaker 3)
Right, not really. So if you’re looking to have life changing results in a way that won’t cause you to have a stoma, get your tickets at Thrivetimeshow.com. Again, that’s Aaron Antis. I’m Clay Clark. And reminding you and inviting you to come out to the two-day interactive Thrive Time Show workshop right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I promise you, it will be a life-changing experience. We can’t wait to see you right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

(Speaker 13)
Whoa.

(Speaker 3)
What kind of growth have you had since you and I’ve been working together over these past few years?

(Speaker 2)
3.45 million.

(Speaker 10)
I got those stats before I got on here. So you’ve grown by 3.45 million?

(Speaker 2)
Yeah, 3,450,000.

(Speaker 3)
Would that be like if you took the combined revenue and maybe doubled it? Or have we gone up by a half? Or have we gone up by a half?

(Speaker 10)
Almost three, not quite.
