(Speaker 2)
Gosh man, time flies. I’d say right around four or five years ago, I just kind of felt like we were stuck and my wheels weren’t moving and I had this goal and I just didn’t really know how to get there. So you guys actually helped me with that. I reached out to you guys, we started our relationship, we started our coaching sessions and you guys helped me build a lot of the systems. that we have now. But you know, Clay, had I not actually sat down and took the time and the energy to reach out to you and then set aside time every single week to actually work on the specific goal of scaling window ninjas, then it would have never happened and we wouldn’t have the, it wouldn’t have come to fruition like it is today.

(Speaker 1)
Gage Salinas, welcome on to the Thrived Time Show. How are you, sir?

(Speaker 2)
I am wonderful, Clay. I’m glad to be here with you today.

(Speaker 1)
And just to give people a little context, how long have we worked with you in your business, sir?

(Speaker 2)
A little over three years, Clay. We’ve been together for a little bit of a journey now.

(Speaker 1)
And I think we picked the best of times and the worst of times to work together. I mean, it’s like right at the peak of the geopolitical craziness. That’s when we started working with you. But you’ve continued to grow. What kind of growth have you seen over these past three years? Just so the listeners know that you do have, in fact, a business that can navigate through difficult times.

(Speaker 2)
I actually went back and looked through our numbers and I looked at some of our goals that we had set in the original conversation that I had with your team, and we have surpassed my original number that I wanted to hit with you guys and I was quite shocked at how I won’t say easy, but systematic it was for us to be able to get to where we wanted to be.

(Speaker 1)
But one key component is they have to have a functional customer service center. You might call it a call center, a sales center. And so on today’s show, we’re going to talk about 10 items that every successful call center has to have in place. 10 items that every ultimate sales machine has to have in place. So if you own a business today and you want to scale that thing, you’ve got to nail down the customer service center, the call center. We’re going to talk about the 10 things, the 10 items.

(Speaker 1)
So grab a pen and a pad and prepare to enter into the lab in the dojo of Mojo Fosho. And now it’s time for an interview with Gabe Salinas. Welcome to the Thrive Time Show. How are you, sir?

(Speaker 2)
I’m great, Clay. Thanks for having me this week.

(Speaker 1)
Gabe, I’m fired up to be here with you, so let’s talk about it. First thing, every call center, every sales center has to have a script. Talk to the listeners out there about how important it was to install scripts in your company, windowninjas .

(Speaker 2)
com. I think the scripts are so overlooked. People shy away from them way too often, but man, Scripps was a definite game changer for us. It created a good workflow for the employee who was taking the call. It created a great customer service experience for the customer. It’s just a great way to basically systemize a good conversation.

(Speaker 2)
That means we’re going to gather all the information that we need. We’re going to understand exactly what the customer’s needs are. We’re going to provide them benefits. We’re going to have some sort of call to action in there, which is getting the deal closed or scheduled, and then actually thanking the customer and letting them know, confirming information, and then getting off the phone.

(Speaker 1)
It makes for a much, much easier workflow, makes for an easier conversation, and the customer as well as the customer service rep both walk away with a big win. Each of them win. So again, step number one, you got to have call scripts. And what would you say to someone who says, well, I don’t want to have call scripts.

(Speaker 19)
I want everybody on my team to just say whatever they want to say, do what they want to do, use their own personality to create their own variation of whatever they want to say.

(Speaker 2)
What would you say? I would say no, because that’s a good way to get a whole lot of gibberish going on. I don’t think every customer wants to know the personal details of the specific person that is talking to them. Yes, it’s good to mention that you might have a dog, but if the person on the other end of the phone isn’t a dog lover and is a cat lover, you might have an argument real quick. It’s just about being professional, man. You gotta have a script.

(Speaker 2)
It’s gotta be built in a positive way. It’s gotta be beneficial to the client as well as the customer service rep who’s actually following the script. And people, man, they’re just calling Clay because they got a problem. Whether it’s their windows are dirty or their house needs to be washed or their gutters need to be cleaned out, man, they’re calling you because they want their problem solved. And they don’t really wanna learn about your dog or your cat. But if they’re being nice, they might ask you about it.

(Speaker 2)
But at any rate, stay away from the dog or the cat. Get the information that the customer needs or you need from the customer. Facilitate the customer’s needs and just close the deal, man. It’s just super easy.

(Speaker 1)
It works really, really well. Context for our listeners out there.

(Speaker 2)
How many locations do you have now open of window ninjas dot com? We’re currently at 11 locations. Yeah, I think it’s 11. I always get a mixed up 11 and

(Speaker 1)
12. But yeah, it’s right around 11 locations. So think about this, folks. If you’re watching today’s show, you say, I want to scale my company. How do you do it? Again, there’s many steps, but one specific area of your business, you’ve got to have a highly functional, highly motivated customer service center, sales center. Step number two, you have to install a call recording.

(Speaker 1)
Now someone says, call recording? You mean you want our team to record their calls for quality assurance? Yeah, like American Express. You say, you mean you want our team to record calls like American Express, like every other large company in the nation? You want the calls to be recorded for quality assurance like every other large company in America? Is that what you’re telling me to do?

(Speaker 1)
Are you trying to tell me that I have to install a quality control call recording system? Yeah, you have to. Gabe, tell us about that.

(Speaker 2)
How does that change the game when you install a call recording system in your business? Man, it’s multiple reasons. Again, it goes back to the customer, right? Maybe Maybe the CSR made a mistake and wrote down a wrong digit for their zip code. That could be a big fiasco if you’re trying to find somebody’s house. And when they acknowledge that, or we have our dispatcher that’s listening to these calls, or we’re having these transcribed data given to us over a screen, we can see that the customer actually said 28405 as opposed to 28409.

(Speaker 2)
Or we’re using it for training purposes, we can listen to these calls and we can tell if the customer service rep is following the script, how their conversation flow is, what their tonality of the call is. Are they facilitating the customer’s needs? Are they listening for key phrases from a customer that alerts them that maybe they should ask a question about maybe having an additional service added on to their project? There’s so many different avenues that we can go as far as listening to the calls and what would the benefit be from, hey, do you want your CSRs to be awesome on the phone because they’re following a script 100 % or are you trying to figure out why this one particular customer service rep isn’t able to close a deal with a customer who got a quote. I mean, you know, just from from grading purposes, you know, we like to give our employees raises and we like to promote, you know, benefits for them as well as like, you know, we’re going to give you a bonus if you X, Y, Z or you do A, B, C. And when we listen to their calls and we can grade them and we can say, man, you’re a rockstar.

(Speaker 2)
You’re 100 % and you deserve a raise today. I mean, it just makes it super easy.

(Speaker 1)
And if they’re not or they’re struggling, we can actually sit down one -on -one, listen to the calls, talk to the customer service rep and train them and educate them so that they can get better every day so they can get a raise. Folks, I’m telling you what he just said. This is so important. If you own a business, this is how you do it. Step number three, it might not be exciting. Maybe it is exciting.

(Speaker 1)
You have to install call quotas. Quotas, activity quotas, action quotas. You have to have some sort of expectation in place where you say, look, I need everybody in this call center, this customer service center to make 100 outbound calls a day. Or I need you to call every lead until they cry, buy, or die. I need you to, there’s got to be some sort of metric that you hold your team accountable in terms of action.

(Speaker 2)
Gabe, what happens if you don’t have metrics in place to hold your team accountable? Well, if you don’t have metrics in place, I mean, your people are just going to be floundering around. They’re going to kind of go where they want to go. And most people, most employees are going to want to go the path of least resistance. The less they can do, the happier they are until they don’t make any money. So you want the business to make money.

(Speaker 2)
You want the employees to make money. You want your customers to win. So you got to hold your employees accountable for certain metrics so that they can get better. They can earn more revenue, the customer’s needs are facilitated, and it’s a win -win all the way around. If you don’t do that, then you’re just kind of flying blind and you don’t know, hey, where did this lead come from? Hey, how many leads did we have this week?

(Speaker 2)
Hey, how many came from actually Google ads or how many saw one of our trucks? You won’t be able to do any of your hard work numbers if you’re not tracking all of those things, including those metrics. Because if you want your customer service reps to make 25 follow -ups every single day, who are they calling, right? When do they call them? And are you sure they called 25? And if they didn’t call 25, you need to figure out why, right?

(Speaker 1)
So yeah, metrics are super important, just as important as having a call recording system. Now, step number four, you have to have pre -written emails. If you expect your team to send emails back to the customer, you have to have pre -written emails. And as a follow -up on that, step number five, you have to have pre -written text messages. You have to have pre -written things so that your team is not constantly grasping for what they think might make sense to send to the person who just had a question.

(Speaker 2)
Talk about why you have to have pre -written text messages and emails. Well, especially if you have a brand like ours where we have a specific voice, you want to keep that voice the same throughout every conversation that everybody has with a potential customer or a pre -existing customer. So that’s one reason. It makes it a whole lot faster, too.

(Speaker 37)
I know our reps literally have a copy and paste.

(Speaker 2)
They can boom, boom. punch in the customer, change the customer’s name and a location phone number and boom, off they roll. It makes it super easy. It saves them a lot of time. And then there’s no guessing. A customer’s gonna get a certain response or they’re gonna get a certain text or they’re gonna get a certain email, whatever the cases may be.

(Speaker 2)
They know that, okay, these guys over here at Window Ninjas mean business. They’ve given me this information. They’ve already told me, okay, my appointment’s gonna be here. This is what the quote or the estimated price was. Here’s our phone number and our email address if you need to make any changes and then off it goes.

(Speaker 1)
It’s just super easy and it’s pretty quick. Again, folks, this is the important stuff. This is the stuff behind the stuff. This is the most important stuff. Someone says, what’s the most important stuff? This is the most important stuff.

(Speaker 1)
We move on to our next step. Step number five, you have to install the Frequently Asked Questions script. or documents. So whenever a customer calls windowninjas . com and they say, hey, how much would it cost for this? How much would it cost for this?

(Speaker 1)
Hey, I have a commercial building. How much would it cost to add on this service? How much would it cost to remove this service? What would it cost if I hired you guys to be there in 24 hours? What would it cost if I had to do it next week? There’s all these questions, and they’re frequently asked questions.

(Speaker 1)
Why do you have to take the time as an owner or as the leader to put all those questions and all those answers into one document that’s searchable so your teammates can be?

(Speaker 2)
Why do you have to do that? Well, man, I mean, you got to think about somebody else other than yourself, Clay. I mean, that’s kind of where my head always went with that. And so you – and plus you want your employees to be able to give honest feedback. answers to questions that they’re going to get asked. And if there’s a whole lot of, if there’s, if, if a lot of questions are very similar and you have one standard answer for it, that’s really easy for the customer service rep to find and know how to communicate that to the customer.

(Speaker 2)
It’s just easy. It’s quick. It’s easy. It takes the stress off the customer service rep. The customer actually gets the correct information because your, your service rep is giving them the the answer to the question in the way that you as an owner would want to provide that answer to that customer. And so, like I said, it goes back to it’s a benefit for the customer. It’s a benefit for the customer service rep. It’s a benefit for the owner and people that don’t do that, man. I mean, if you were to listen to their phone calls, I can promise you those phone calls are going to be all over the place and the brand is not going to have a a sense of like a voice right and so and that’s something else that i think is very special about us over here at window ninjas is is we have a brand voice and it goes back to those frequently asked questions it goes back to the call scripts it goes back to

(Speaker 2)
every recorded call because our customer service reps know what our voice is. We’ve written out all of the answers to the questions that customers ask in the Window Ninja’s voice. And so when the customer calls us, they understand that and they’re like, oh, I like those guys, man. They’re really, they’re witty. They’re cool. They’re fun.

(Speaker 2)
They got a good energy. They got a good vibe. You know, they just get a great customer service experience.

(Speaker 1)
That’s one of the things that I think a lot of businesses just don’t really grasp is that your company has a name, but that company also has a voice.

(Speaker 36)
As an example, if you go to Chick -fil -A, they always say, it’s my pleasure.

(Speaker 1)
Bingo. All right. Another example, you’ve got a Rainforest Cafe. And if you go there, you’re going to see this. It’s crazy, folks. They have a Rainforest theme.

(Speaker 1)
Think about it. Rainforest Cafe. What? You’re trying to tell me that the Rainforest Cafe has a Rainforest theme? Yeah, it’d be kind of weird if it didn’t, right? You think about the consistency.

(Speaker 1)
You think about great brands like Quick Trip, the gas station chain. They have a system and an expectation. Now, if you’re looking for a bearded lady, you might go to Starbucks. Now, Gabe’s not saying that. I’m just saying that. I’m saying if I’m looking for a bearded lady, I used to go to the carnival, but sometimes I go to Starbucks.

(Speaker 1)
Because I know Starbucks, they’re going to typically hire people that tend to be on a certain mindset. And every once in a while, I can find a good bearded lady at Starbucks. I look for it. I go, man, I want my coffee with a bearded lady. I’m going to Starbucks. Now, if I want someone to say, thank you for your purchase with a little bit of an aggressive push to convert me to Christianity, which I already am, that’s Hobby Lobby.

(Speaker 1)
You go to Hobby Lobby, you go to Hobby Lobby, you buy a frame. I’m just trying to get a frame. And the person will say, thank you, have a blessed day. That’s Hobby Lobby, right? Now, if you go into Starbucks, you go to Starbucks, and you say, I kind of want to see people with a disproportionate amount of LGBTQ pins. You’re going to find them at Starbucks.

(Speaker 1)
It’s not mean. It’s the reality. I’m just being real. If you want to find fantastic people, go on our website. an airplane. You’re going to see fantastic people that work on airplanes.

(Speaker 1)
Certain people work on airplanes as those flight attendants. You’re going to see it. You’ll see fantastic males working on those planes. What am I saying? I’m saying there’s a certain consistency the customer expects. And if you went into Starbucks and all of a sudden you started having the far regions of the right wing serve coffee, I don’t know if the customers can handle that.

(Speaker 1)
And if you went into Hobby Lobby and you had the far regions of the left joining you at Hobby Lobby, I don’t know, if you went into In -N -Out Burger and the food wasn’t quickly provided in high quality, I don’t know, you’d go back. We’re looking for consistency, folks. You’re looking for consistency. Moving on to the next one here. You got to install a daily checklist. And Gabe, that’s a big thing.

(Speaker 2)
You have a checklist for everything, a checklist for opening the call center, for shutting the call center. You have to have a checklist for tracking the hours, a checklist for onboarding new employees. Why do you have to have a checklist for everything? Because if you want something done the way that you want it done, and the way that you have built it for the business to scale and succeed, then you’ve got to have a checklist. Because otherwise, the employees can’t be trained properly. They’re not going to know where to find the answers to the questions that they may have.

(Speaker 2)
Customer might come out of completely left field and ask them something crazy. But if that’s not written in a checklist format so that the customer service rep knows how to handle specific questions like that, then they’re just going to go off in any direction that they want. But yeah, everything from opening the building to how the trucks are supposed to look, what equipment is supposed to be on the truck.

(Speaker 1)
I mean, how to clean the bathroom, when to restock the fridge. I mean, there’s so many different things that go on in a business every single day that if you don’t have a checklist those things just aren’t going to get done and people aren’t going to know how to do them either. Ah, I love checklists, folks. I could do 45 hours in a row talking to Gabe about checklists. I love checklists.

(Speaker 1)
That’s why I love languages, checklists. Ah, I love checklists. So we continue. Step number seven, you got to have a management layer. You have to have a layer in place. You have to have a manager that actually manages the execution of this.

(Speaker 2)
You can have all this stuff in place, but if you don’t have a manager, Gabe, what happens if you have all these systems and you don’t have a manager who’s willing to have the awkward conversation, who’s willing to provide the encouraging word, who’s willing to follow up when it’s not comfortable? What if you don’t have a manager willing to follow up and implement these systems? How’s it going to go once you have all these systems if you don’t have a manager? Well, then as an owner, you’re going to be in the business working in the business every single day. And you’re going to be handling all the fires. You’re going to be frustrated because you’re not going to have any time freedom.

(Speaker 2)
You’re not going to have any financial freedom. I mean, you’re basically going to be working a job that really doesn’t give you any satisfaction. So, I mean, if you don’t hire a manager or somebody to run and lead your team, then you’re the one that’s going to have to do it. And that just that’s really not what the business is about. A business is here to serve you and a business is here to give you the time, freedom and the financial freedom to be able to do whatever it is that you want to do. And I think that’s I think when people get into business, they’re excited because they see that they know that, hey, it’s going to give me some financial freedom.

(Speaker 2)
Right. But they they often overlook the fact the time freedom. And so, you know, I don’t know about you, Clay, but I don’t, I don’t really want to wake up being, I don’t know, 70 and still being the guy that manages every aspect of my business.

(Speaker 1)
I mean, that’s, I just should have went and got a job if that was going to be the case, you know? So, but that’s one of the things that is really overlooked, I think, with a lot of people that get into business, they get excited, they get into business, they’ve got a good idea. but then they just don’t know how to turn their idea into a true business where they can then hire a bunch of people to do specific tasks that the business needs to do so that they can then just from a top view down, look at everything and make sure that everything’s in check, which includes having a manager of some sort that can oversee employees, oversee inventory, oversee making sure that the bathrooms get cleaned, you know, all of those things, you know, unless, like I said, unless you’re that kind of guy that just wants to do it all yourself until you’re 90 years old and in the grave, just saying. just saying this just in folks we continue we’re marching through this list here’s to number eight you got to have a weekly group interview folks if you don’t interview new candidates every week your office is going to get weird you’re going to have a pond of people that don’t want to do their job instead of a river of life if you don’t if you don’t constantly interview good people you’re going to have a pond of pathetic low energy slackers working for you doing the least amount of work possible because these are people that attract poverty, the kind of people that do a bad job, once they discover they can’t be fired, they are going to, like, they’re going to exponentially somehow grow like a virus of some kind.

(Speaker 2)
They’re going, it’s weird, but I’m telling you, once you find people that are underperformers and they discover they can’t be fired, they will spread. And all of a sudden the poverty mindset is contagious. Gabe, what happens if you ever stop interviewing new candidates? Somebody’s going to get pregnant. Somebody’s going to get married. Somebody’s going to want to go on vacation, and then you’re going to be right back in your business doing all of the things that you were willing to pay somebody to do.

(Speaker 2)
You definitely got to bring in fresh people from time to time. You got to have backups if somebody’s out sick, or maybe they’re going to go have a baby, or maybe, man, they’re just not the right fit and you’re just gonna have to terminate them. They’re not following scripts, or they’re not putting their leads into the lead tally sheet, or hey, they’re at a 2 % close rate on the phone. I mean, you just gotta sometimes cut the bait and get rid of those people. But if you don’t have a steady flow of people that you’re interviewing, then two things are gonna happen.

(Speaker 2)
You’re just gonna have the same staff, and probably less of it over time and you’re going to miss out on a good opportunity to meet really great people. people who are going to be really great employees who could potentially turn your business into something special. Right. So it’s just like a football team, basketball team, any sports team, things of that nature, man. They’re always looking for great talent. And so your business is the same way, man.

(Speaker 2)
You’ve got to look for new talent all the time.

(Speaker 1)
Clay, I can tell you this right now. We do interviews every single week. And if I find a rock star and I don’t need somebody on my team, I will make a position for them. I will find a way to bring them in because I know at some point somebody is going to fall off. This is so powerful. Now, folks, for sake of time, step number eight, you’ve got to get that weekly group interview going.

(Speaker 1)
We have entire shows dedicated to that. Step number nine, you want to have a scripted shadowing process. You want new candidates to shadow in a way that makes sense so new candidates can see if your work environment and culture is a good fit. You want people to be able to shadow and see if your work culture is a good fit before they make that decision. You want new candidates to shadow your workplace to see if it’s a good fit before they commit. Step number 10, you want to make sure that when you have new employees, you have an onboarding process that’s documented.

(Speaker 1)
minute. Day one, what do they do? Where are they going to sit? What do they say? What’s the onboarding package look like? How do they get paid?

(Speaker 1)
All of these things and more, you have to dial these systems in place. And Gabe, we’ve had the honor to work with you for years.

(Speaker 35)
We’ve seen you have 11x growth and beyond.

(Speaker 1)
You’re absolutely moving the needle. For anybody out there that wants to plug in and

(Speaker 2)
proven systems and they want to buy a windowninjas .com com franchise, I’ll pull up the website real quick, but can you tell everybody out there about your windowninjas . com franchise? What’s it like? And really, why should everybody out there who’s looking for a time freedom and financial freedom business, why should they look at, at least look at, a windowninjas . com franchise?

(Speaker 2)
Well, there’s a lot of people out there that are working for somebody else right now. And they may they may stay stuck in that business for way too long. Life is going to pass you by. And there’s a lot of good, hardworking people out there that are cleaning windows, putting HVAC systems on on houses or commercial buildings. They may be doing landscaping, but, you know, these guys are hardworking guys, men and women, that perhaps they like to work with their hands. Perhaps they like to be outside.

(Speaker 2)
Perhaps they like to be able to There’s those people that like to interact with customers every single day. But if somebody’s not giving them an opportunity to get to the next level, then they’re always going to be stuck in a job where they’re making their boss a lot of money. And so Window Ninjas is very special because I was that guy. I came from the guy that was cleaning windows. I learned a trade and I loved it, man. I really liked window cleaning. It’s a great skill to have.

(Speaker 2)
It’s a great job to have. And I just wanted to scale it so that I could give more people opportunity to come see what it is that I love so much about window cleaning. I know that I don’t have to go clean windows any longer. I know that I’ve got a great family. I’ve got a wonderful house, commercial properties. This industry of ours has allowed us and my family to really be able to create a lot of jobs and opportunities for so many different people out there.

(Speaker 2)
Our franchisees, their employees, our employees, everybody. And so it’s something really special and dear to me. So, anybody out there that’s a hard worker, that’s tired of, you know, maybe you’re making $60 ,000, $70 ,000, $100 ,000, whatever, man, but you’re making your boss $500 ,000, $1 ,000 ,000, $2 ,000 ,000, man, if you want to be that guy making the $1 ,000 ,000, $2 ,000 ,000, $3 ,000 ,000, Window Ninjas is a great opportunity. We can put one in your backyard. We can help you scale it.

(Speaker 1)
We can help you grow it. We’ve got a customer service rep system here that we handle all calls. We know how to do advertising marketing because with Clay, your help, we’ve been able to scale and build all these systems that we can now give it to the right person who can then take it and scale it and live the dream that they always wanted to have. And that’s not working for somebody else. It’s working for themselves, owning a business and having it run without them having to be there. I can say this objectively, having worked with you over the years, you have really left no stone uncovered.

(Speaker 1)
You have systems for everything.

(Speaker 2)
And if you’re watching this show and you say, man, I want to own my own business. How much does it cost? Final question. How much does it cost if someone wants to buy a window ninjas . com franchise? Well, Clay, the franchise fee is going to be $59 ,500 and that gets them their territory of their choice.

(Speaker 1)
Hopefully it’s in their backyard, or maybe they want to go somewhere special like, I don’t know, Dallas, Texas, if they’re living in Minnesota. But whatever the case, $59 ,500 is going to be your franchise fee all in with your trucks, your equipment, your advertising spend for the first year, this, that, and the other. You’re probably going to be right around $175 ,000 to $195 ,000 depending on how great a deal I can get for you and they can get for themselves on certain pieces of equipment as well.

(Speaker 33)
Man, for less than $200 ,000, Clay, and you have an opportunity to 10x that, and you have all of the systems, and you have the support, you have the call center, you have all the advertising, I mean, the marketing, everything is pretty much turnkey, man.

(Speaker 1)
It’s a deal.

(Speaker 2)
Folks, it’s hot.

(Speaker 29)
It’s a deal.

(Speaker 3)
Check it out, windowninjas . com. Gabe Salinas, we really do appreciate you, sir, and we’ll talk to you next week. Sounds great, Clay. Thanks for having me. So we’ve almost doubled, we went from 50 leads to 85 leads on average a week that we’re seeing.

(Speaker 3)
But I’ll tell you what, mentioning that, the branding and the website, I like that you pulled up at the beginning, Clay, our first suncoastpestmanagement . com, and then the ca . com, because that was our first website, and there was no traffic, things weren’t happening, and we left that up while we transitioned over to the Thrive Time team and the website, and it’s been unbelievable the amount of traffic that we’re seeing difference between the two that we’re going live. So now we’re taking that website down this month and pointing that website to our new website. But what we’re finding is it’s a vism. I know if anyone doesn’t know what the vism is, it’s the video imaging, images, search engine optimization, and then the more reviews.

(Speaker 3)
What we focus on is the video testimonies, the images, and the reviews. We let you guys take care of the search engine stuff. But seeing the difference in the website, we know it’s working. We know the pages and the content on the back end is working. You gotta take the step. You gotta step out there and experience it for yourself.

(Speaker 3)
That’s $1 ,700, it’s nothing. I mean, that’s a no -brainer deal, to be honest with you, Clay. I mean, the $1 ,700 that we pay from the coaching that I’ve got, the system implementation, things that work from group interviewing and getting the right people on our team, you can’t put a price on it.

(Speaker 30)
You just really can’t.

(Speaker 3)
I know what we paid for our website before, we’re paying less now than what we were paying before.

(Speaker 1)
And we’re getting better results now. So it really is just a no brainer for anyone that’s really looking to grow their business. I’m telling you, call me, I’ll tell you. Give my number. You call me and I’ll tell you, you’re making the right decision. Okay, folks, on today’s edition of The Thrive Time Show, we’re interviewing a real person.

(Speaker 3)
I think so many people say, I want to become successful, but can I do it? I think that’s something that lingers in the minds of some people is, can I do it? So what I try to do on The Thrive Time Show is I try to bridge the gap from where you are to where you want to be and to show you that it’s 100 % possible, that it’s 100 % doable by introducing you to real clients that are really implementing the real systems that really work.

(Speaker 1)
And with that being said, Sean, welcome onto The Thrive Time Show. How are you, sir?

(Speaker 3)
Doing good.

(Speaker 1)
Thanks, Clay.

(Speaker 3)
Thanks for having me.

(Speaker 1)
Now, for anybody who might think that you’re a hologram or just a male model, tell us your first and last name. And what’s the name of your company? Sean McGough, and it’s Suncoast Pest Management. And for people who want to visit your website, where’s the best place people can go to find your website? It’s suncoastpestmanagementca . com.

(Speaker 1)
OK, so suncoastpestmanagement .

(Speaker 3)
com. Is that you right there, sir?

(Speaker 1)
It’s ca . com. So SuncoastPestManagementCA .

(Speaker 3)
com. Sean, tell us about your company there. What exactly do you do at SuncoastPestManagementCA . com? Yeah, we take care of all pest control, from rodents to wildlife to termites to just general pests, from ants to roaches. And we take care of commercial, residential.

(Speaker 3)
And we take care of San Diego, Riverside, and the Orange County area. Now, for anybody out there that is watching this show, people hear about this show from a variety of sources, some from their friends, some from family, some from Spotify. How did you originally come in contact with The Thrive Time Show? That’s a good question, Clay. You know, I was invited by a friend of mine. He had joined with you guys and has a drywall business.

(Speaker 34)
And he said, you’ve got to come out here.

(Speaker 3)
And I was skeptical at first. And I said, you know, I’ll go. But I’m just going to tell you, I’m not doing anything.

(Speaker 1)
I’m not joining anything. I’ll go and check it out. He said, well, come on out. I knew within the first three hours, I was looking for you guys. I was like, I got to join this. I got to join this.

(Speaker 1)
I want to belong to this. The excitement, the energy was just next level. And I just really knew that this was something that would benefit our company.

(Speaker 3)
Now, the thing I try to do, and I think you’ve been a great fit for our organization, it’s really a win -win, but I always tell great people like you, I say, listen, we want to have a shalom relationship with you. We want to have a win -win. A lot of relationships start with a weird contract. Somebody gives you a con, and they lock you on a weird track. How would you describe the nature of our relationship? It is month to month.

(Speaker 3)
We do charge you $1 ,700 a month. But how would you describe, as a business owner, what it’s like entering into a relationship with a business coach? platform when you know it’s month to month. You know, it’s been awesome because I meet with Sean Lohman. He’s my business coach.

(Speaker 1)
And we look forward to it. It’s been exciting. He holds me accountable. It’s been fun. I know every week that he’s going to be wanting to better my business and helps me to better my business. And I just, again, just the excitement, the energy around it and the wanting to track the results, be on top of the numbers and to show the wins every week.

(Speaker 1)
I look forward to it. Let’s win. We got to win. Now, I’m going to pull up these steps that we teach. And for anybody out there who wants to follow along, you can go to thrivetimeshow . com forward slash free resources.

(Speaker 1)
Let me point that out again, folks. That’s thrivetimeshow . com forward slash free dash resources. So once you go to thrivetimeshow . com forward slash free dash resources, you can click on the book here, How to Build a Successful Business. It’s the orange covered book, How to Build a Successful Business.

(Speaker 1)
You can download and read along.

(Speaker 3)
But if you haven’t downloaded the book yet, here we go. We’re getting into page five. To grow a successful company, Sean, so many people say, how do I grow a successful company? And I tell them, well, you have to implement all 13 of these steps. And a lot of people say, yeah, yeah, yeah, I just want to focus on accounting. Or I just want to focus on marketing.

(Speaker 1)
Or I just want to focus on sales. So I want to go through each box on today’s show, rapid fire, 13 boxes, 20 minutes, want to get your reaction to it. So box number one, how has knowing your revenue goals, how has knowing your revenue goals, again, step number one is establish your revenue goals, how has having a clarity about your revenue goals impacted your business? You know, that’s another good question, Clay. Even coming into the business and being in the management industry and restaurant for so long and being new to, I mean, a business owner, it’s been seven years, but really trying to be successful running it as a manager and not really knowing and tracking where my break -even number was and what our revenue goals, what we really need to hit. every week.

(Speaker 1)
So that’s just been fun, exciting with the team, because everyone in our team now, the culture’s changed. Everyone knows what our break -even number is. Everyone knows and is thriving to get those numbers each week so we can continue to grow the business. I just, again, folks, you talk about who’s a good fit. It’s anybody out there willing to put in the work. And Sean and his team do a great job.

(Speaker 1)
And I encourage everyone to check out their website. Box number two, you have to determine the break -even numbers. That’s how much stuff do you have to sell just to break even, as you mentioned, you have to know that number.

(Speaker 3)
Box number three, you have to define how many hours per week you’re willing to work. And I know business owners out there, Sean, that aren’t, frankly, willing to work more than 40 hours a week. I also know business owners out there that aren’t willing to work 30 hours a week. I also know business owners out there that aren’t willing to work 20 hours a week. And you do have to put forth a certain amount of effort. I recommend working six days, resting on the seventh.

(Speaker 3)
And some of you watching this show, maybe your day off is a Thursday, your day off is a Saturday, your day off is a Sunday. But I recommend that people have to be really honest with themselves, that they’re willing to put in the work. Could you talk about that, just the willingness you have to put in the work? Yeah, and you know, if it’s a willingness to put in the work, I was always put in the work. I would work six to seven days. The difference now is I’m working on the business and not in the business.

(Speaker 3)
You could I would work around the clock and be willing to work around the clock. The difference is now is that I’ve stepped back. I’m looking at the business from a different perspective than just in the day to day grind.

(Speaker 1)
So, yes, I’m working hours, but it’s it’s and I’ve always I’ve always been one to work. I love to work. I enjoy working. I’m still doing the same amount of hours. I’m still doing six six -day work weeks. I rest on the seventh, like you mentioned.

(Speaker 1)
But it’s just different now, because we’re seeing results.

(Speaker 3)
So the excitement and the energy is just fun. It’s just a good time. Let’s talk about that for a second. What kind of results have you seen? Again, most of the people we interview on this show, when I ask them how long they’ve worked with us, the clients will say, I’ve worked with you guys for 10 years, or eight years, or seven years. You’re kind of newer to the program.

(Speaker 3)
You’re somewhat newer to the program. So approximately how long have you worked with our team? And just what kind of results have you seen so far? It’s been amazing. It’s been three months now, and I’ll tell you what, just things like my business coach reaching out to me for the weekend saying, hey, have you listened to your phone calls? Have you listened to your recordings?

(Speaker 3)
No, not really. I think it’d be a good idea. And we had this auto receptionist answering, if you’d like to select this, press one. If you want a movie with your pest control, press two. I mean, really, I thought that was legit. I thought, hey, this is a way to show we’re bigger, even bigger than what we are.

(Speaker 3)
And so I thought, to get it into the right hands. But we were watching the calls just rotate and rolling and rolling where it’s like, it’s like, go here and then go here.

(Speaker 8)
And then it got the call center would take in say, well, let me try to get ahold of this sales guy.

(Speaker 3)
Let me try. And it just was moving all over.

(Speaker 1)
We got rid of this auto receptionist dude. And we got people answering the phones. We’re getting great feedback. And our leads are converting. It’s just, I mean, I’m telling you, it’s simple stuff, but it’s things that I need to see for myself. And it’s just exciting to see those things actually unfold now.

(Speaker 33)
Now, again.

(Speaker 1)
You probably can hear the excitement in my voice, Clay. I’m just excited. Well, you’re implementing everything. You’re implementing everything, and I love it. Now, box number four, you have to figure out what makes you different.

(Speaker 3)
In this world, this clutter of commerce, there’s so many great businesses out there. Again, I’ll pull up your web address, suncoastpetmanagementca . com, suncoastpetmanagementca . com. What is it that really sets you apart in the San Diego market? For anybody out there that doesn’t know, San Diego is a gorgeous area.

(Speaker 3)
The cost of living can be punishingly high. There are many service providers out there, and you are servicing really some of the nicest communities in San Diego. What is it that separates Suncoast Pet Management CA . com from the competition? Good question, Clay. Really, it’s we’re a one stop shop for everything.

(Speaker 3)
A lot of pest control companies will sell you on one thing, but they can’t do another thing. And so people customers have to get multiple different companies to do different things. We do road improving.

(Speaker 1)
We do termite tanning. We do just a general pest day to day stuff. We do wildlife trapping and removal. So there’s that. And then we have we have a same day free inspection. We want people to see the Suncoast different.

(Speaker 1)
We want them to see our our staff and the culture that we’ve created, and the quality of our work we stand by. So when we get out there, there’s nothing to lose. It’s a one, it’s a same day, free inspection, and then that first service, we’re offering an 80 % off that first service. Now, folks, we move on here to the next box. Again, these are all the steps we need to implement here. There’s a lot of details that go into these steps, but I just want to give you a nice overview, folks, of the kind of impact

(Speaker 1)
you can truly have on your business if you’re willing to schedule a free consultation and implement the moves. Box number five, branding. You gotta nail down your branding, folks. On a scale of one to 10, you gotta be honest. If 10 is the best and one is the worst, how highly is the branding of your business? How high quality is the branding of your company?

(Speaker 1)
If 10 is like Tiffany, the Tiffany Jewelry Company, and 10 is Nike, and then one is, I don’t know, disgruntled Carney who’s pitching porta potties at the State Fair.

(Speaker 3)
That’s on a scale of 1 to 10. Where do you fall into that? And if you feel like you need to optimize your website, your print pieces, your branding, I encourage you to take action in that regard. Box number six, you have to create a sustainable three -legged marketing stool. You have to create a turnkey way, Sean, to generate leads. And so many businesses, they’re excited, they’ve got great branding, but they have no leads.

(Speaker 3)
They’ve got a million followers on TikTok, but they have no leads. They’ve got a lot of people that follow them on Instagram, but they have no leads. Could you talk about the increase you’ve seen on the actual amount of leads that you’re now seeing of new customers, new lifeblood entering into your company? Yeah, so we’ve almost doubled. We went from 50 leads to 85 leads on average a week that we’re seeing. But I’ll tell you what, mentioning the branding and the website, I like that you pulled up at the beginning, Clay, our first suncoastpestmanagement .

(Speaker 3)
com and then the ca . com because that was our first website and there was no traffic. Things weren’t happening. And we left that up while we transitioned over to the Thrive Time team and the website.

(Speaker 1)
And it’s been unbelievable the amount of traffic that we’re seeing. and the difference between the two that we’re going live. So now we’re taking that website down this month and pointing that website to our new website. But what we’re finding is it’s a vism. I know if anyone doesn’t know what the vism is, it’s the video imaging, images, search engine optimization, and then the more we do that, What we focus on is the video testimonies, the images, and the reviews.

(Speaker 1)
We let you guys take care of the search engine stuff.

(Speaker 32)
But seeing the difference in the websites, we know it’s working.

(Speaker 1)
We know the pages and the content on the back end is working. There’s somebody out there. They’re watching this show. And this is how people think. I know how people think, because I’m an entrepreneur.

(Speaker 3)
And you know how people think, because you’re an entrepreneur. This is what someone’s saying. Someone’s saying, all right, come on. Let’s be real. You’re paying this guy, you’re paying Clay’s team, you’re paying the Thrive Time Show $1 ,700 a month, $1 ,700 per month, $1 ,700 per month. And we know it’s month to month, you claim, and we know that it’s less money than it would be to hire a minimum wage employee.

(Speaker 3)
But how could you describe the return on investment? Or how could you describe the value you’re getting? How would you say to Sean, anybody out there who says, how would you describe the value or the return on investment that you’re experiencing as a newer Thrive Time Show business coaching client? You gotta take the step.

(Speaker 31)
You gotta step out there and experience it for yourself.

(Speaker 3)
That’s $1 ,700, it’s nothing.

(Speaker 1)
I mean, that’s a no -brainer deal, to be honest with you, Clay. I mean, the $1 ,700 that we pay from the coaching that I’ve got, the system implementation, things that work from group interviewing and getting the right people on our team, you can’t put a price on it. You just really can’t. I know what we paid for our website before, we’re paying less now than what we were paying before. And we’re getting better results now. So it really is just a no brainer for anyone that’s really looking to grow their business.

(Speaker 1)
I’m telling you, call me, I’ll tell you. Give my number. You call me and I’ll tell you, you’re making the right decision.

(Speaker 3)
Now, you came to our workshop, and when you came to the workshop, it was so great to have you come to this most recent workshop. You know, Eric Trump was there. We often have Tim Tebow at our conferences and Eric Trump, and you’re at the conference, and I just can’t tell you how encouraging your words were for the attendees. I ran into probably, let’s say, a half dozen people that came up to me personally and said, thank you for bringing up Mr. San Diego, Captain San Diego. People would say, thanks for bringing that bug guy up there. Thanks for bringing that pest control guy up there.

(Speaker 3)
Thanks for bringing that guy. They’re like, he actually really encouraged me. How would you describe the in -person two -day interactive business workshops? They encouraged me the same. I had people tell me the same thing.

(Speaker 1)
I’d be in line getting a coffee and people say, hey, you really encouraged me. Does this stuff really work? I said, I’m telling you, give it a shot, do it. It worked. But just being around other successful people in businesses, you can’t put a price on that. Just being able to interact with these people.

(Speaker 1)
There’s good people there and there’s a lot of people that have done it and they’re successful. And to mingle with that, to touch shoulders with people like that, you just can’t describe it.

(Speaker 3)
There’s so much you get out of it. Somebody is starting to not believe what you’re saying, because it’s too good.

(Speaker 11)
What’s your first and last name one more time?

(Speaker 1)
Someone’s going to look you up real quick. They’re going to look up your website. Is this guy real? One more time. What’s your first and last name, and what’s the name of your website? Someone’s looking you up right now.

(Speaker 1)
It’s Sean McGough. It’s suncoastpestmanagementca .

(Speaker 30)
com.

(Speaker 3)
All right, again, folks, not a hologram, not a male model. He could be, but he’s not. So we continue. Box number seven, you’ve got to create a sales conversion system. The sales scripts you touched on earlier, call recording, one sheets, pre -written emails, lead trackers. Every time I work with a client, every single time I work with a client, and they install call scripts and call recording, the moment they put in call recording, call scripts, and tracking, a series of very uncomfortable epiphanies occurs when people recognize how much money is being repelled by dysfunctional phone answering services, dysfunctional phone answering people, poorly written scripts, not tracking.

(Speaker 3)
What kind of epiphanies did you have the moment you started installing tracking, call scripts, recording, what kind of epiphanies did you discover? Oh, my goodness. It was sad. It was sad. As it is, I’m a person that I just don’t have very much patience.

(Speaker 3)
And a lot of us don’t. And as entrepreneurs, we want to get things done and move on. And there’s so, I mean, there’s 300 and some pest control companies in San Diego. It’s not hard to find somebody else. You don’t have time to be waiting two minutes to try to go through all this process of getting to someone and moving around. It was so bad.

(Speaker 3)
And I just won’t forget, Sean’s like, hey, have you listened to your calls yet? and my business coach, and I said, no, I haven’t. Because Haibu, well, it was a website that we had before. They had it where you could hear some calls, but they would come through a tracker. And so we didn’t hear all calls. Now we’re with Clarity Voice, so we hear all calls.

(Speaker 3)
But just he said, are you listening to him? And I said, no, I haven’t. He goes, it’s painful. And that’s the honesty I love.

(Speaker 1)
I want to hear that. And so I took that night and listened to the calls. I said, oh, my goodness, why would anybody want to book with this? Yeah, it was. It definitely was a wake -up call to see and know. And now we got scripts in place, and we’ve coached and taught that.

(Speaker 1)
We listen to the calls, and we’re teaching the people. Again, we’re only three months, Clay. I can’t wait to tell you what it looks like in another three months and in a year. I just couldn’t be more excited for you and for the people out there that are meeting you at the conferences because you’re encouraging so many people. And it really is contagious. Success is contagious.

(Speaker 1)
So is poverty, by the way. If you’ve ever grown up poor, poverty is contagious. I encourage everybody out there to run from poverty, to fight poverty, to become an enemy of average. Box number eight. Feeling great. Determine sustainable customer acquisition costs.

(Speaker 1)
You have to know how much money does it cost you.

(Speaker 3)
How much money does it cost you to acquire a new customer? As an example, if you’re paying my team $1 ,700 a month and you’re saying you’ve almost doubled your amount of leads, you can track it and go, OK, this is how much I’m paying. This is what kind of leads I’m getting. seeing. You need to know that number. You need to know how much does it cost you to acquire a new customer.

(Speaker 3)
Sean, Dr. Zellner has an entire podcast he’s recorded with me about this idea. And it’s so important to know how much money it costs you to acquire a new customer. Why is that empowering for you to know how much it costs you to gain one new customer?

(Speaker 1)
That goes back to the breaking even number. Us knowing that has really helped us even to look at our pricing and where we’re at with the rates and our guys and going out there. and managing that, because we know that now. We know exactly on the dollar what we need to make and what it’s going to cost us, 38 cents per dollar. I can tell you, I didn’t know that before, but that’s what it takes us. It takes us $38 on 100.

(Speaker 1)
And so now we know what we need to do. That’s our conversion for our customers in order to make profit on the hour. That’s what we need to make. Folks, this is real stuff. This is real stuff. This is the stuff behind the stuff.

(Speaker 1)
This is how you grow a successful company. Beyond the motivation, folks, this is the activation that’s required.

(Speaker 3)
Box number eight. I mean, after you’re motivated, that’s great. After you’re caffeinated, that’s exciting. But what you have to do is you have to implement these systems. So box number nine, you’ve got to create repeatable systems and processes and checklists. So that way, you can scale your business.

(Speaker 3)
You’ve got to work on the business, not just in your business. Could you talk about how important it has been to begin to really take the time away from actually killing bugs, working in the business, and to focus on killing repetitive issues by building checklists, processes, workflows? Could you talk about the impact that that kind of thing has made on your business? Oh, yeah, it’s been it’s been unbelievable, even just like we implemented a system for backing up. We do group interviews now once a week, and we were not doing that. So I would waste time.

(Speaker 3)
And we all know you sit down with somebody, you know, within the first 10 seconds, like this guy or lady isn’t the right fit. They’re not going to fit my team. And I’m not going to fit my team. I’m almost obligated to waste more time. And so, so that our group interviews, we get it out there. We do it every Wednesday.

(Speaker 1)
And at first it was like, well, we didn’t need anybody. So what are we doing? But we realized that that bringing these people in we started it had to be a hell yeah we had to know we had the right people and so when we got this we just hired four people and I’m telling you that the rest of the team, it’s almost like I got to step up or get out because the culture is changing, but we’ve implemented systems now. where we have simple checklist, we have the management checklist when they’re out in the field coaching the team. We’ve got performance based pay now systems that we’ve put in place, but we’ve structured the phone calls and we’re coming in. So we just put all these different things in place are simple.

(Speaker 1)
We like simple, simple, simple is easy. We don’t want to complicate it. So we put one page systems in place to help everyone. Final two questions I have for you with the limited time we have. Again, folks, for anybody out there, if you want to know these systems, this is what we do. We do a free 13 -point assessment.

(Speaker 1)
And then if you want to become a client, our average client is with us for years and years. But what we do is we guide you down this proven path on a month -to -month basis. So box number 10, we’re going to teach you how to manage people effectively. You have to create effective management systems. Box number 11, you have to create a repetitive weekly schedule, kind of a theme, an anthem, a routine, a tradition, a way in which you work. the staff meetings are going to be, and how you follow up, and how you name things, the nomenclature, the language, the common culture, all that matters.

(Speaker 1)
Box 12, create human resources systems. It’s all about hiring, inspiring, training, and retaining. How do you do that? Hiring, inspiring, training, and retaining. We have entire shows dedicated to that. We’ll help you through every aspect of your company.

(Speaker 1)
And then box 13, it’s all about accounting. It’s not about how much money you make. It’s about how much money you keep. I repeat, it’s not about how much money you make. It’s about how much money you keep. And we do work on that as well, box 13.

(Speaker 1)
You might say, well, what’s the point of growing a successful company. The point of growing a successful company is so you can do what you believe God has called you to do. And so then you have the financial freedom to pursue goals for your faith, and your family, and your finances, and your fitness, and your friendship, and your fun, and all those things cost money. So again, with a little bit of money, you have the money available to pursue your goals for your faith, your family, your finance, your fitness, your friendship, and your fun. Final two questions I have for you, Sean.

(Speaker 3)
One, for anybody out there watching this show right now that are thinking about going going to thrivetimeshow . com. They’re thinking about scheduling a 13 -point assessment. They’re thinking about coming to an in -person workshop. They’re on the fence. They say, I know I can pay $250 or whatever price I want to pay for a conference ticket.

(Speaker 3)
I know that I get a free consultation, a free 13 -point assessment. But I don’t know. What do you say to them, Sean? What are you waiting for? We literally have our conversion, our percent conversion has gone up on our lead conversions. We were only converting 38%.

(Speaker 3)
We’re converting almost 70 % now of our leads.

(Speaker 1)
And it’s all proven systems that are in place.

(Speaker 3)
I’m telling you, it doesn’t make any sense not to do it. You’re investing in your business and the $1 ,700 is fair in all honesty to what we’re getting as a result in value. So it’s, it’s, it really is plan. I know you didn’t put me up to that, but what are we waiting for?

(Speaker 1)
What are you waiting for? Make the call, fix it, get it done. It works. They’re proven systems. They work. I can’t tell you.

(Speaker 1)
I’ve never, I’ve never experienced anything like this. It’s just, it’s, it’s, it’s like, it’s like unreal. You can’t fathom. You got to get out there and do it and feel it for yourself. Well, the final question I have for you is, you know, I designed Thrivetimeshow . com to be for me.

(Speaker 1)
You know, I designed what I do. I designed the business coaching services that I’ve done for 20 years for myself. Because I had companies and I thought, man, if, because people kept telling me, Clay, your businesses are rocking and rolling. Could you help me grow my company? They said, man, your company, DJConnection . com, it’s rocking.

(Speaker 1)
Man, your company, Epic Photos, is rocking. Man, your party rental company, Party Perfect, it is rocking.

(Speaker 3)
Man, that dentistry you work with, that thing is rocking. Man, the businesses that you touch are working.

(Speaker 1)
You guys have the Midas touch over there. Could you help me? And I always would tell people, well, I’d like to, but you’re going to need a photographer, videographer, web developer, search engine team, a coach, an implementer, someone to follow up. You’re going to need to have a conference you come to to stay supercharged. You’re going to need to have best practice systems for everything. And there wasn’t anything out there like it.

(Speaker 1)
What’s it like knowing that you have a flat monthly rate that you’re paying and you get all that support included with the program? Again, now my business is rocking, let’s just say that. I’ve watched it, I’ve seen and I’ve heard in these meetings and the conference, other people talking about their business and the success and seeing it and feeling it for myself now, it’s just, it’s incredible. Sean, thank you so much for your time. I really do appreciate you. I encourage everyone to check out that website.

(Speaker 3)
Let’s bring some clarity to that website again here.

(Speaker 29)
I’m going to pull it up one more time.

(Speaker 1)
Everybody out there, if you enjoyed this show, maybe you said, this show, Clay, I liked the guest, but I didn’t like you.

(Speaker 4)
And that’s fine. But I would encourage you to check out suncoastpestmanagementca . com. I’ll put a link on the show notes so you can get there easily. And again, folks, we really do appreciate you taking time to enjoy today’s show. And Sean, thank you so much for encouraging our listeners.

(Speaker 4)
And we’ll talk to you soon. Oh, thanks for having me, Clay.

(Speaker 7)
Good time. Appreciate it.

(Speaker 5)
Take care. Bye -bye. My name is Kevin Thomas and the name of our company is MultiClean. We are a commercial janitorial service and we serve the entire state of Oklahoma and Kansas and soon to be Arkansas. We have probably grown probably five times.

(Speaker 7)
We’ve added, I think when we first started with you, we had 60 to 65 employees.

(Speaker 28)
and now we have a little over 300 employees.

(Speaker 5)
Before we got involved with Thrive Time, we didn’t really have any systems or processes in place. I’ve probably been to, in six, seven years, I’ve probably been to 12 to 13 business conferences and Amazingly, each time I go, I learn something new and I’m so excited to bring it back and show the team about marketing and how to implement.

(Speaker 1)
Clay Clark is here somewhere.

(Speaker 27)
Where’s my buddy Clay?

(Speaker 22)
Clay’s the greatest.

(Speaker 26)
I met his goats today.

(Speaker 1)
I met his dogs. I met his chickens. I saw his compound. He’s like the greatest guy. I ran from his goats, his chickens, his dogs. So this guy’s like the greatest marketer you’ve ever seen, right?

(Speaker 1)
His entire life, Clay Clark, his entire life is marketing. OK, Aaron Antis, guess who’s joining us for the December 4th and 5th, 2025 Thrive Time Show Business Growth Workshop. Whoa. Ooh. Santa Claus? No, we will not be joined by Santa Claus, but we will be joined by Eric Trump, the son of the 45th and now 47th President of these United States.

(Speaker 1)
And yes, Amanda Grace will be in the place. And yes, Dr. Stella Manuel will be there so you know it will go well.

(Speaker 17)
Yes, we have Mel Kaye in the house.

(Speaker 1)
Pastor Phil and Tammy Hodson -Piller will be hosting this event at their beautiful church right there in sunny Anaheim, California. Yes, folks, make this a December to remember. Make this a December to remember and join us at the two day interactive business growth workshops. For over 20 years, folks, I’ve been hosting business growth workshops, where we’re going to teach you marketing, sales systems, human resources, accounting, social media, marketing, branding, sales training, search engine optimization, accounting, workflow development, financial

(Speaker 25)
management, all this and more.

(Speaker 1)
How do you get tickets? Go to thrivetimeshow . com. Again, how do you get tickets? Go to thrivetimeshow . com and request tickets today.

(Speaker 1)
Trump. People don’t know this, but the Trump organization has thousands of employees. There’s not 50 employees. The Trump organization, again, most people don’t know this, but the Trump organization has thousands of employees. And while Donald J. Trump was the 45th president of these United States, and this just in from our home office, President Donald J. Trump is now the 47th president of these United States as well.

(Speaker 9)
I’m Ron Burgundy.

(Speaker 1)
He needed someone to run the companies for him.

(Speaker 22)
And so the man that runs the Trump organization for Donald J. Trump as he was the 45th president of the United States and now the 47th president of the United States is Eric Trump.

(Speaker 24)
Eric Trump is here to talk about… time management, promoting from within, marketing, branding, quality control, sales systems, workflow design, workflow mapping, how to build.

(Speaker 23)
I mean, everything that you see, the Trump hotels, the Trump golf courses, all their products, the man who manages Billions of dollars of real estate and thousands of employees is here to teach us how to do it.

(Speaker 22)
You are talking about one of the greatest brands on the planet from a business standpoint.

(Speaker 13)
I mean, who else has been able to create a brand like the Trump brand?

(Speaker 1)
I mean, look at it. And this is the man behind the business for the last pretty much since 2015. He’s been the man behind it. So you’re talking, we’re into nine going into 10 years of him running it. And we get to tap into that knowledge. That’s going to be amazing.

(Speaker 1)
Now think about this for a second. Nothing is over until we decide it is. Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? German? Forget it. He’s rolling.

(Speaker 1)
And it ain’t over now.

(Speaker 21)
The lineup continues to grow.

(Speaker 1)
And this is how we do our tickets here at the Thrive Time Show.

(Speaker 20)
If you want to get a VIP ticket, you can absolutely do it.

(Speaker 1)
a VIP ticket. We’ve always done it that way. Now, if you want to take a general admission ticket, it’s $250 or whatever price you want to pay. And the reason why I do that and the reason why we do that is because we want to make our events affordable for everybody. I grew up without money. I totally understand what it’s like to be in a tight spot.

(Speaker 1)
So if you want to attend, it’s $250 or whatever price you want to pay. That’s how I do it. And it’s $500 for a VIP ticket. Now, we only have limited seating here. There’s a lot of togetherness and closeness, camaraderie. So again, if you want to get tickets for this event, all you have to do is go to Thrivetimeshow .

(Speaker 19)
com.

(Speaker 1)
Go to Thrivetimeshow . com.

(Speaker 16)
When you go to Thrivetimeshow .

(Speaker 18)
com, you’ll go there, you’ll request a ticket, boom.

(Speaker 1)
Or if you want to text me, if you want a little bit faster service, you say, I want you to call me right now. Just text my number. It’s my cell phone number, my personal cell phone number. We’ll keep that in mind. private between you, between you, me, everybody. We’ll keep that private.

(Speaker 1)
And anybody, don’t share that with anybody except for everybody. That’s my private cell phone number. It’s 918 -851 -0102. 918 -851 -0102. I know we have a lot of Spanish speaking people that attend these conferences. And so to be bilingually sensitive, my cell phone number is 918 -851 -0102.

(Speaker 1)
That is not actually bilingual. That’s just saying Juan for a Juan.

(Speaker 15)
It’s not the same thing.

(Speaker 17)
I think you’re attacking me.

(Speaker 1)
Now, let’s talk about this. Now, what kind of stuff will you learn at the Thrive Time Show Workshop? So Aaron, you’ve been to many of these over the past seven, eight years. So let’s talk about it. I’ll tee up the thing, and then you tell me what you’re going to learn here, OK? OK.

(Speaker 1)
You’re going to learn marketing, marketing and branding. What are we going to learn about marketing and branding? Oh, yeah. We’re going to dive into, you know, so many people say, oh, you know, I got to get my brand known out there, like the Trump brand. You want to get that brand out there. It’s like, how do I actually make people know what my business is?

(Speaker 1)
and make it a household name. You’re gonna learn some intricacies of how you can do that. that. You’re going to learn sales. So many people struggle to sell something. This just in, your business will go to hell if you can’t sell.

(Speaker 1)
So we’re going to teach you sales. We’re going to teach you search engine optimization, how to come up top in the search engine results. We’re going to teach you how to manage people. Aaron, you have managed, no exaggeration, hundreds of people throughout your career and thousands of contractors. And most people struggle with managing people. Why does everybody have to learn how to manage people?

(Speaker 1)
Well, because first of all, people are, you either have great people or you have people who suck. So it could be a challenge, you know, learning how to work with a large group of people and get everybody pulling in the same direction can be a challenge. But if you have the right systems, you have the right processes, and you’re really good at selecting great ones. And we have a process we teach about how to do that. find great people. When you start with the people who have a great attitude, they’re teachable.

(Speaker 1)
they’re driven, all of those things, then you can get those people all pulling in the same direction. So we’re going to teach you branding, marketing, sales, search engine optimization. We’re going to teach you accounting. We’re going to teach you personal finance, how to manage your finance. We’re going to teach you time management. How do you manage your time?

(Speaker 1)
How do you get more done during a typical day? How do you build an organization if you’re not organized? How do you do organization? How do you build an org chart? Everything that you need to know to start and grow a business will be taught during this two -day interactive business workshop. Now, let me tell you how the format is set up here.

(Speaker 1)
And again, folks, this is a two -day interactive 15. Think about this, folks. It’s two days. Each day, it starts at 7 AM, and it goes until 5 PM. So from 7 AM to 5 PM, two days. It’s a two -day interactive workshop.

(Speaker 1)
The way we do it is we do a 30 -minute teaching session, and then we break for 15 minutes for a question and answer session. So Aaron, what kind of great stuff stuff happens during that 15 minute question and answer session after every

(Speaker 3)
teaching session?

(Speaker 1)
I actually think it’s the best part about the workshops, because here’s what happens.

(Speaker 16)
I’ve been to lots of these things over the years.

(Speaker 1)
I’ve paid many thousands of dollars to go to them. And you go in there, and they talk in vague generalities, and they’re constantly upselling you for something, trying to get you to buy this thing or that thing or this program or this membership.

(Speaker 15)
And you don’t, you leave not getting your very specific questions answered about your business or your employees or what you’re doing on your marketing.

(Speaker 1)
And what’s awesome about this is we literally answer every single question that any person asks.

(Speaker 6)
And it’s very specific to what your business is. And what we do is we we allow you as the attendee to write your questions on the whiteboard. And then we literally, as you mentioned, we answer every single question on the whiteboard.

(Speaker 1)
And then we take a 15 minute break to to stretch and to make it entertaining when you’re stretching.

(Speaker 14)
That’s a true story.

(Speaker 1)
When you get up and stretch, you’ll be greeted by mariachis. There’s going to probably be alpaca here, llamas, helicopter rides, a coffee bar, a snow cone. You had a crocodile one time. That was pretty interesting. I should write that down. Sorry for that one guy.

(Speaker 1)
We lost the crocodile. We duct taped its face. So that’s right. We duct taped the baby crocodile. Yeah, duct tape around the mouth so it didn’t bite anybody. But it was really cool.

(Speaker 1)
He passed that thing around. I should do that. It’s a good idea. That means you have less than 3 % of our population that’s even self -employed. So you only have 3 out of every 100 people in America that are self -employed to begin with. And when Inc.

(Speaker 1)
Magazine reports that 96 % of businesses fail by default, by default, you have a 1 % out of 1 ,000 chance of succeeding in the game of business. But yet, the average client that you and I work with, we can typically double this. No hyperbole, no exaggeration. I have thousands of testimonials to back this up. We have thousands of testimonials to back it up.

(Speaker 13)
But when you work with a home builder, when I work with a business owner, we can typically double the size of the company within 24 months. And you say, double?

(Speaker 1)
Yeah, there’s businesses that we have tripled. There’s businesses we’ve grown 8x. There’s so many examples. see at thrive timeshow . com. But again, this is the most interactive best business workshop on the planet.

(Speaker 1)
This is objectively the highest rated and most reviewed business workshop on the planet. Add to that Eric Trump, the man that runs the Trump organization. You say, Clay, I still I’m not going to get a ticket unless you give me more. OK, fine. We’re going to serve you the same meal both days. True story.

(Speaker 1)
We have we cater in the food and because I keep it simple. I literally bring in the same food both days for lunch. Who’s with me? Let’s go! It’s an incredible Mexican restaurant. That’s going to happen.

(Speaker 1)
Someone says, I want more.

(Speaker 12)
This is not enough.

(Speaker 1)
Give me more. OK. I’m not going to mention their names right now because I’m working on it behind the scenes here. But we just continue to add more and more success stories. So if you’re out there today and you want to change your life, you want to give yourself an incredible gift, you want to You want a life -changing experience. You want to learn how to start and grow a company.

(Speaker 3)

(Speaker 1)
Again, the event’s going to be on December 4th and 5th in sunny Anaheim, California. Great weather. Make this a December to remember. Eric Trump, the man who leads the Trump Organization.

(Speaker 3)
It’s going to be a blasty blast.

(Speaker 1)
There’s no upsells.

(Speaker 9)
Aaron, I could not be more excited about this event.

(Speaker 1)
I think it is incredible.

(Speaker 8)
And there’s somebody out there right now, you’re watching and you’re …

(Speaker 1)
but I already signed up for this incredible other program called Smoke Your Way to Thin. I think that’s going to change your life. I promise you this will be 10 times better than that. It’s like I picked the wrong week to quit smoking. Don’t do the smoke your way to thin conference. That is it.

I’ve tried it. Don’t do it. Chainsmoking is not a viable. I mean, it is life changing. It is life changing. If you become a chain smoker, it is life changing.

Not the best weight loss program though. Right. Not really. So if you’re looking to have life changing results in a way that won’t cause you to have a stoma, get your tickets at thrive timeshow . com. Again, that’s Aaron Antis.

I’m Clay Clark and reminding you and inviting you to come out to the two -day interactive Thrive Time Show workshop right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I promise you, it will be a life -changing experience. We can’t wait to see you right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
