Once again, ladies and gentlemen, please stand at your feet and greet the son of President Donald J. Trump, the man who runs the Trump Organization, my good friend and now yours, ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Eric Trump.
(Speaker 14)
Some shows don’t need a celebrity in the ring, but this show does. In a world filled with endless opportunities, why would two men who have built 13 multi -million dollar businesses altruistically invest five hours per day? to teach you the best practice business systems and moves that you can use, because they believe in you and they have a lot of time on their hands. They started from the bottom. Now they’re here. It’s the Thrive Time Show, starring the former U .

(Speaker 5)
So good! So good I’m pretty confident that this is the only time that Julie Green has ever been to an event where Sweet Caroline played right before she came up to share what she believes is on her. And so what I want to do, I just want to be super clear, there are three things that are my goals for these conferences, and I’ll introduce Julie. There’s three goals I have, and perhaps they matter to you, perhaps they don’t, but this is one. My dad, may he rest in peace, he died of Lou Gehrig’s disease. And we never really had financial traction.
(Speaker 5)
I don’t know if you can relate to that. We never had financial traction. So my dad was working at Quick Trip. It’s a gas station chain, and we’re super glad he did that. He was also delivering pizzas at Domino’s. And we just weren’t able to pay the bills the way he wanted to, if that makes any sense.
(Speaker 5)
And I’m super appreciative for my dad having multiple jobs and doing what it took. Um, but he was working all the time, you know, so I would set my alarm for 3 a . m. because he finished the night shift at Quick Trip, and I could hang out with my dad from like 3 a .
(Speaker 68)
m.
(Speaker 1)
to 4. That was when I saw my dad. That was kind of my childhood, where I saw my dad after the night shift. And I always, when I talk to great people like yourself, I always kind of picture my dad, who needed like, help. But not like a manipulative help, where it’s like, bait and switch help, you know what I’m talking about? Where it’s like, sign a contract, now you’re got, you start with a con, now you’re in a weird track.
(Speaker 1)
Who knows what I’m talking about? Like you know these magic money seminars where you sign up today and all of a sudden you’re roped in? Who’s ever discovered the timeshare reverse phenomenon of excitement there? So all I’m saying is I wanted to create something where I could help people. are like my dad, who just need someone to help them. So that’s like my number one mission is for you to leave here with the skill set needed to have success.
(Speaker 1)
Second goal, I think learning should be fun or funny or approaching not horrible. And I just know that there’s a lot of business books that I read or have read or case studies I’ve studied that maybe aren’t the most fun to read, but I think that a lot of times that knowledge goes untapped into because you’re just so bored out of your mind. So I try to bring a little bit of fun to it. And the third goal I have is I hope that this conference changes your life, you know, your life. And so I don’t claim to have all of that tool set needed to do that. So I think we have to bring in Charlie Redd.
(Speaker 1)
because he’s an incredible bassist, a great band, a great team here, great vocalist. I love Charlie Ray. I think we need a little bit of Keith coming in here from California. I think we need to bring in a little Julie Green in the room. I think we need to have Amanda Grace in the house. I think we need to have Pastor Jim.
(Speaker 1)
I think we need to have different tools and talents. And some of you will listen and you’re like, I did not come to this conference to learn anything about my spiritual life. That’s fair. You’ll be stuck with us for 20 minutes. Some of you are like, that’s why I came. I’m here for that.
(Speaker 1)
Well, tomorrow night we have a church service with Amanda Grace at 630 tomorrow night. Some of you are like, I just want to take a helicopter ride. That’s what I want. And I want to hang out with your goat because this is getting weird. OK, whatever. So, for the next 20 minutes, we’re just gonna shift gears for a second and introduce you to a new voice or a person that maybe you didn’t expect to hear from, depending upon.
(Speaker 1)
Most of our listeners to our podcast on Spotify have told me, they go, Clay, I’ve listened to your show for over 10 years, and I cannot believe that you’re doing this reawakened thing. What are you doing? And I’m like, I’m on a mission from God, and I’m obsessed with losing money, so we’ll do these events. But again, I know God has a purpose for everybody here, so I want everybody just to really dial in tune in, kind of tune up, get ready to go here. And I want to tell you, Julie Green has been a wonderful member of the Reawakened community.
(Speaker 1)
Previous to that and after that, she continues to share the gospel. And I think she has a profound impact in the lives of a lot of people. She does a daily show. She does a daily show. It could be more than daily. It could be slightly less than daily.
(Speaker 1)
All I know is every day, I see her showing up on the Rumble feed. And she’s very consistent. And so I just want you to write this down and then we’ll introduce Julie Green here, okay? Consistency, consistency or faithfulness, that is a godly attribute. Consistency or faithfulness, that’s a godly attribute. Nobody wants flaky friends, right?
(Speaker 1)
And so what Julie’s done is she’s become the non -flaky friend for so many people that are like, you know, I’d like to learn about God, but do it every day. And so she does it whether she feels good, whether she doesn’t, but she’s very consistent. And that’s something that stuck out to me as well. She’s very consistent, and she’s very sincere. And I just think that you’re gonna learn a lot, and I’m excited for you to meet her. If you don’t know who she is, I think you’re getting prepared for a blasty blast.
(Speaker 1)
And so, without any further ado, I’m gonna bring up Julie Green. Julie Green, come on up here, Julie Green. Yes, Julie Green. I wanna pass you the mic. Thank you for being here. Thank you, sir.
(Speaker 1)
I appreciate being here. So many people may be wondering, why is somebody in ministry at a business conference? Because we’re talking about business. Well, just like with our country, why are prophets and why are teachers and why are ministries involved in elections? Well, because without God, we can’t make America great again. We could not do that because with God, he makes everything great.
(Speaker 1)
But when it comes to business, How about let’s bring God into business and that’s how we make America business great again. We bring God into our business. And what I was saying earlier is that God is the best business partner. Now I know I get some finger points to some people that are not going to like what I have to say and I’m used to that and that’s okay. Because I say things that I know that God needs people to hear. Whether some people understand it or not, I still have to say it.
(Speaker 1)
You get a lot of persecution when you’re speaking the word of God because people don’t want to hear certain things because they want to keep God in a certain box. But one of the things that when I was praying about, I said, OK, Lord, what do you want me to say about business? And one of the first things that came in my mind or in my spirit when I was praying about this was Deuteronomy 818. Deuteronomy 818 says God is the one who gives us the power and ability to get wealth. Now, if you’re in business, you’re not getting in business to make just make things even or to break even. You are going into business to be successful.
(Speaker 1)
But God is the one who actually can give us the best success in our life we can possibly imagine. We have the creator of heaven and earth that lives on the inside of us. And you can see time and time again in the word of God that God blessed his people. God made sure that his people were so blessed that people were jealous of them. It was made known even in Genesis 26. When Isaac was not supposed to go down into Egypt like everybody else was, Egypt was representing the world and how the world does everything.
(Speaker 1)
He says, don’t go down to Egypt, but go to the land which I am telling you to go to. And as he went there and he obeyed God, he actually reaped a hundred fold because he didn’t fall in the world’s mold. And so when we are trying to God, we are trusting in his ability. With man, we are limited. With God, all things are possible.
(Speaker 1)
And another thing that I love to do every single morning is introduce people to God. I don’t want people to pay attention just to who I am. I want people to know God and the names of God. One of the names of God is Jehovah Jireh. You can find Jehovah Jireh in Philippians 4 and 19 and he said, I will liberally supply, fill to overflowing your every need. And if you have needs in business, God’s promise to you is that he will liberally supply, fill to overflowing your every need.
(Speaker 1)
And people ask me, how did you go from your start out in this ministry and how’d you go to where you are today? And I said, I don’t take credit for one minute of it. It was God who told me, I fought him for three years to get on YouTube. I refuse to get on because I know persecution and I know how nasty people can be. At the same time, I know I also had the love of God and I had the love of his people and I just wanted to give him encouragement because the world was full of discouragement. The world was full of so much lies and deception and people were full of so much hopelessness and despair.
(Speaker 1)
And so one of the things that I do want to do is introduce people to who God is. Not only is he Jehovah Jireh, your provider, and you think about this in business, don’t you want somebody that you’re partnering with, that is successful and has never failed? He has never failed in anything that he has ever done. God is an undefeated God. He’s also unlimited God. He’s unlimited at anything.
(Speaker 1)
And so when you think about it, if he says in Deuteronomy 8, 18, that I give you the power and the authority to get wealth, if you can tap into that, he will. all of his people to be successful in every endeavor that they put their hands unto He wants to bless each and every one of you and the blessing in you in the world You can find that in Proverbs 10 22 and it says the blessing of the Lord it brings Wealth and it adds no toiling to it There are so many people out there that don’t understand what the blessing is The blessing of God, he gave the blessing to Abraham or Adam and Eve in the Bible. He said, I’m going to bless you. What is a blessing? The blessing is an empowerment to prosper, to succeed, to excel, and to rise above everything that would try to keep you back and to hold you down. Do you know, not only do you have competition in the world of business with other people who are selling like products, But you also have somebody out there you can’t see that is out there to destroy your business.
(Speaker 1)
That is the adversary and that is Satan. Satan not only wants to destroy our country, he wants to destroy our churches, and he wants to destroy our businesses. He does not want you to be successful. And that is why you see so many billionaires, that’s why you see so many globalists that are out there because the church hasn’t gotten involved, and the church is staying out, just like the church stayed out of the government. And when the church stayed out of government, God wasn’t there, and God wasn’t there, evil was reigning. And when God has not been in business because there has been a scripture that has been distorted and that scripture you can find in first Timothy chapter 6 and verse 10 and it says the root or the love of money is the root of all evil and then you have Christians that will say the love of money
(Speaker 1)
money or the money is a root of evil if money was evil Then why does God say that I’ve given you the ability the power ability to prosper? Then why did God say in Genesis 12 to? He said to Abraham those who will bless you. I will bless those who curse you I will curse and so you think about it for a minute if we have a God who that even with Isaac, he made him so wealthy in the sight of his enemies. His enemies were wondering, what in the world is he doing? And how is everybody out over in Egypt?
(Speaker 1)
He’s over somewhere else doing something else, and he is more successful. God wants his people to be shown to be successful. And so when it came to this ministry, one of the things that I said was, I said, God, I lay it to you. I don’t know what I’m doing. I am not a business person. Thank God.
(Speaker 1)
God brought me a team. We were just talking about finances earlier. I think I have people who do my accounting, but even with every part of that accounting and every part of what’s in that bank account and what’s in those bank accounts, it’s all given to God. If God told me to give it tomorrow, I’d give it all tomorrow and I don’t care about it. He told us to write checks and we just do it whenever he tells us to do it because it belongs to him. That’s why it’s successful.
(Speaker 1)
Not because I’m a perfect person or not because I am doing everything right. We all make mistakes, but when we give everything to God and let God do it, that’s when we become so successful. In the blessing of the Lord, it does encourage you and it causes you to triumph over every adversity. You have an enemy that is out there that wants you to lack. He wants you to live paycheck by paycheck and he wants your businesses to fail. He wants you to claim bankruptcy and he wants you to be enslaved into this world system.
(Speaker 1)
that is your enemy but God has another name he is our shepherd you can find that in Psalm 23 in verse 1 in Psalm 23 in verse 1 it says I am your shepherd that I will lead guide protect and you shall not lack so if you think about it we wanted God back into our government And because of prayer, and because we brought God back in our government, we now have Donald J. Trump as a president of the United States of America. I know that was due to people praying. I know that was due to people saying, I am not going to listen to that separation of church and state. What the separation of church and state was supposed to be was supposed to keep government out of churches. It was supposed to keep the government from saying a pastor cannot say this and a pastor cannot say that. The only person that should tell a pastor what they can and cannot say is God Almighty himself.
(Speaker 1)
And the same thing when it comes to business. When we take God out of businesses and say, we have to do all these things on our own, so many people are toiling, so many people are struggling, not knowing that God says in his word that he is the one who gives you the ability to get wealth. And he says, earnestly remember these things. And he says, earnestly means take seriously. And so if we take seriously and say, you know what? We prayed.
(Speaker 1)
For President Trump, we prayed against election fraud. Now we can see this turning point in our nation. Look what happened with Charlie Kirk two weeks ago. Look at how they wanted that to destroy us. They wanted it to break us. They wanted to silence us.
(Speaker 1)
They wanted to bring us so much fear. that we would not fight them back anymore. And you know what I’ve seen since that day? More people are uniting, more people are coming to Christ, more people are starting to pray, more people are starting to go to church. Why? Because so many people are fed up with sitting on the sidelines, they’re fed up with always being told to sit down and shut up.
(Speaker 1)
What persecution? when it comes to prophecy or when it comes to teaching God in businesses or comes to teaching God in politics. But if we don’t have God in politics, who is left? The only option is left is Satan, our adversary. If we don’t have God in business, then what do we have? We have an adversary that is ruling and reigning our businesses when he shouldn’t be.
(Speaker 1)
If we include God in everything we do, we will be successful. One of the things that I’ve said a long time ago, I said, God, take this ministry where you want it to take it. I will do what you want me to do, and I will say what you want me to say, no matter the persecution, no matter the threats, no matter the backlash, no matter what it takes, no matter the cost, I will do what you want.
(Speaker 2)
That is the only reason why there is a worldwide ministry now.
(Speaker 5)
It is not because I am some special person. It only is because I got God involved and I laid it down and I said, this is yours, I give it to you. Every single time we go somewhere, every event we hold, even this, no matter what, I always pray, God, what do they need to hear?
(Speaker 1)
I don’t know exactly what you need to hear. I don’t even know exactly what you’re looking for in your business or what kind of businesses you have. But God does. And God knows exactly what you need to hear. the idea God wants to make his children be known in this earth He wants you because he said if I am the one who gives them the power and ability to get wealth in Jehovah -jireh That is my name. That’s not something that God just has that’s something who God is God is the ultimate source of provision And so if you are dealing with business, the one thing I would tell you to do is ask God, what do you want me to do?
(Speaker 1)
Where do you want me to go? Do you want me to place marketing over here? Do you want me to place marketing over there? I knew a minister, and one of the things he said in 2008, when the stock market was crashing and everybody was losing everything, and he had money in the stock market, and he was told by these investors to put his investments in all these different places. And he said, I’m going to go home and pray about it first.
(Speaker 5)
And they look at him like he was absolutely insane. They go, we are the professionals. We know exactly where you need to put your investment. He said, no, I’m going to go pray about it first.
(Speaker 1)
He went home and he prayed about it. He came back the next day and said, I want here, here, here, here, and here.
(Speaker 5)
It looked like the dumbest decision that he ever could have made in those investments. And they came to him on Christmas Eve, after hours, with a massive basket. And they knocked on his door.
(Speaker 4)
and he opened it and they said I just want to give this to you You are the only one out of every person that has investments Only one that made money why because he sought God about it.
(Speaker 41)
He wasn’t seeking man Remember man has a lot to do with it.
(Speaker 5)
We have people who are against us and everywhere We look they will purposely give you bad advice, but you know that God doesn’t ever fail And one of the things when God says, the love of money is the root of all evil. It is the love of it. It’s putting the love of it and making it more important than God. But if you say, God, I give these things to you, money doesn’t have me.
(Speaker 34)
But I thank you, Father God, that you are my source of supply.
(Speaker 5)
It says in your word that you will liberally supply, fill to overflowing my every need.
(Speaker 3)
Not just a little bit.
(Speaker 5)
God wants his people to overflow. Just to think about it, if you ask God what to do about your business, if you’re having business issues, and you’re saying, Lord, this is going on, this is going on, people are telling me to do this, I’m getting missed messages, what should I do? God is the one who will never lie. God is the one who you always can count on to give you the right advice. God in his word, again, it even says in Genesis 12 too, those who bless you I will bless, those who curse you I will curse. If you look at all the times with Abraham, Abraham went into these different kingdoms.
(Speaker 5)
he would leave rich. And a lot of people in the ministries don’t like that word. God does not have anything, there’s nothing wrong with you being successful. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with you being successful. That is what the world has told you that you can’t be successful. And the world tries to suppress God’s people.
(Speaker 5)
Do you know one of the number one threats in the world not just the United States of America. Do you know who the biggest threat is? Not only to our enemies over in other nations, but also the deep state in this country. Do you know who the biggest threat is? You and I. Christians, we are conservatives because we won’t put up with tyranny and we won’t back down to a bully. That’s why it’s so important when you are doing your businesses to let God in.
(Speaker 5)
I only gave you a few scriptures because I only have so much time and I always promise, Clay, I always respect him, I don’t go over my time. I sometimes usually end early, because I know there’s a lot of speakers. But one of the things I want to give to you today is the scriptures that I gave out today. Seek God. Ask him what he wants you to do. Make him your business partner.
(Speaker 5)
Make him a part of every one of your meetings. Make him be a part of that business, because you know if he is a part of that business, you know your business will not just stay the same. Your business is going to thrive. Because you have the most high God on your side and that most high God is an undefeated God. And that most high God is the one who will not fail you.
(Speaker 5)
So all I can say today is, again, yes, I’m in ministry, but I will say God should make and be a part of every ministry to make a business great again. in this nation, and in all nations, God’s people should be the ones on top and not always on the bottom. So, Clay, thank you for giving me this microphone today and letting me give out what God wanted them to hear today. A couple of things. Julie, hang tight just for a second. I got two follow -up questions for real quick.
(Speaker 13)
Podcast, people want to watch it, they want to find you, they want to say, we’re going to hear this lady again.
(Speaker 60)
Where can people find your Iowa -based podcast and what percentage of your Podcast is devoted to selling rhubarb none because Julie doesn’t like rhubarb He wants me to try he likes me he wants me to and I will promise you I promise you Clay Cuz you’re my friend.
(Speaker 10)
I’m gonna try rhubarb for you Okay?
(Speaker 3)
I’m not gonna promise you I’m gonna like it, but I’m gonna try it for you.
(Speaker 67)
You can go to jgminternational .
(Speaker 13)
org and you can find on our front page every single where we are.
(Speaker 3)
We’re on, let’s see, Rumble, we’re on Facebook, we’re on X, and we’re on every different other website. We will eventually get back on YouTube.
(Speaker 70)
They cut me off six times, but I’ve been praying.
(Speaker 5)
I’m gonna win that argument with them. I’m gonna be put back on there. So we’re gonna try to get on every available voice we can to get the word of God and get people encouraged to not give up and quit in the times we’re living in. Sean, pull up to the Rumble channel for Julie Green real quick.
(Speaker 74)
Go to RumbleLink for Julie Green.
(Speaker 73)
Final question I have here for you is how often are you putting out content?
(Speaker 71)
Is it once a week, once a day, once a month?
(Speaker 5)
It is. Every morning at 6 .30 in the morning. Every morning at 6 .30.
(Speaker 15)
That’s Julie Greene.
(Speaker 3)
So you can kind of start your day with Julie Greene.
(Speaker 13)
Folks, let’s hear it for Julie Greene.
(Speaker 5)
Yeah. OK.
(Speaker 30)
Is Clay Stairs here?
(Speaker 5)
Is Clay Stairs here? Is he here? Clay Stairs? I know Clay Stairs. That’s fair. Josh Sperl.
(Speaker 13)
I’m going to bring over here Josh Sperl.
(Speaker 5)
Where’s Steve Currant? Is Currant in here? Steve, are you here? Steve, I’m going to have you be the guy that reads the questions on the board. And we’re going to have a lot of fun here. But I want to make sure we’re getting this idea.
(Speaker 5)
Go back to page four. Make sure we go back to page four. If we don’t get this, I’m a bad teacher, okay? So we gotta make sure that everybody, we have our goals, right? For our faith, our family, our finances, our fitness, our friendship, our fun.
(Speaker 34)
And I’ll tell you a story of what not to do because it’s true and it’s not awesome and it involves me.
(Speaker 47)
So you feel better about yourself when you hear these stupid stories.
(Speaker 5)
So in 2007, 2007, who remembers 2007?
(Speaker 34)
Pre -Great Reset, whatever it may be.
(Speaker 5)
Great financial crisis, whatever that was. Right, the Great Recession. You remember that, 2007?
(Speaker 3)
Okay, so I got an award again, because I kept getting awards, so I was 20, and I was Tulsa’s Entrepreneur of the Year, as dubbed by the Chamber of Commerce, you know, and then it happened again in 2007, I was the state’s entrepreneur, as dubbed by the Small Business Administration, and I’m in a limo, so it’s my wife and I in a limo, you get these awards, and my wife leans over and she’s like, hey, do you think you could schedule time to see your own kids?
(Speaker 13)
And I was like, That’s not how I pictured this in my mind, but it was a thing where it was true. And my wife’s done a very good job.
(Speaker 16)
You know, we’ve been married now 24, almost 25 years, but she’s done a really good job always putting family first.
(Speaker 5)
And that’s one thing where I’ve really learned a lot from her about what the Bible says my role as a husband is supposed to be. And I’m supposed to train my kids to fear God so when they grow up, they won’t depart from him. I’m supposed to, a lot of things in my Bible, my wife’s kind of doing like a Bible study on me all the time. And I usually rebuke it and bind it and cast it out and all that stuff. and then I find it in the bible and I’m like ah she’s true but I can’t admit that I gotta you know but anyway so but I would say I was guilty of and maybe you were but of like putting a big focus on just finances for a long long time And then, that was always my thing. So for me, it’s like we all have a tendency to get disproportionately focused on something.
(Speaker 5)
Does that make sense? So we gotta figure out, how are we gonna carve out time for our faith, our family, our finances, our fitness, our friendship? Because the business just exists to help you get there. Are we on the same page? We’re on the same page?
(Speaker 13)
Okay.
(Speaker 5)
So let’s, Stairs, we gotta go first. Stairs kicked me out, he said he’s the guy. All right, Stairs, we’re ready. Don’t be taking my job. Ready, Stairs, do it. I can’t even read anyway.
(Speaker 5)
Okay, here we go. Yep. All right, Clay, we’re going to start right down here on this side over here. So, Clay, as business professionals, should we avoid slang expressions such as gosh, golly, oh, my God? Well, let’s talk about for a second. No, we’re going to go into this.
(Speaker 5)
There is a term and you can write it down somewhere in your book if you want. I believe in this. There’s a term called professional. And then there’s the word that I have coined called brofessional. Brofessional. Like that.
(Speaker 3)
Bro.
(Speaker 65)
I see what you did there.
(Speaker 5)
Bro. Hey, can you film this, Andrew? Do you have audio on that thing? Do you have audio? Yeah, do you have audio? And can you, when we film this – Where do you want me?
(Speaker 5)
Right in front of you? It’s going to be better as long as you’re not in it. It’ll be great. I’m just kidding. Okay, so what we’re going to do is we’re going to do a quick survey. This is just an example of the kind of thing.
(Speaker 5)
I was just, Eric is in town, okay?
(Speaker 42)
And I keep telling him that he should buy the Mayo Hotel and then change the name from Mayo to Trump because I believe that it would sell, I think it would be sold out perpetually.
(Speaker 5)
And so, quick survey, maybe you don’t agree. How many of you think if Eric Trump were to buy the Mayo Hotel and switch the name to Trump Hotel, it would be more booked out than it is now? Yeah. Yes. I would stay there and I live here. You would do that?
(Speaker 5)
Sally would love it. All 77 counties voted for Trump. I think you could just change this, swap out the sign. bring that Trump customer service, that kind of thing. They should do the same thing with City Hall. But you’re not really supposed to bring that up when you’re talking to…
(Speaker 5)
So I want to get this clip. I want to send this to Eric, okay? So we’ll do it one more time. How many of you think if we took the Mayo Hotel and we swapped out the name from Mayo to Trump because they bought the hotel, we switch it to Trump Hotel, how many of you think it would be more booked out than it is now? Yes!
(Speaker 68)
Yes!
(Speaker 41)
And Eric did not want me to ask that question, but Eric, this is for you.
(Speaker 13)
Too bad, Eric.
(Speaker 3)
Andrew, if you could just cut that real quick and send it to me real fast. I’m going to get that because he did not want me to do that. But that’s what I do. That’s what you’re going to do. It’s not his conference. You can do what you want.
(Speaker 3)
Yeah, I’ll do what I want. He’s not watching, is he?
(Speaker 5)
All I’m saying is, how many of you have a really good friend?
(Speaker 13)
A really good friend?
(Speaker 5)
No.
(Speaker 13)
OK.
(Speaker 5)
And again, I encourage you to write this down. I call it a relationship. relationship it’s where you know somebody and you have a rapport with them it’s not just transactional you know so Steve you and I worked together for a long time and I’ll never forget this happened recently increasingly you’ll call me and go hey um the first time it happened you’re like hey I I want me to do today’s call from on the phone because I’m not there because I’m in the Bahamas yeah I’m going what and you’re like I’m just flying there got the new plane going there can you tell her where do you fly in the Bahamas where’d you go Um, first time we flew to Nassau and then we flew to a different island like every day. How big is the island?
(Speaker 3)
Because you sent me a video where it’s like an island that’s like the size of my property or something.
(Speaker 35)
Yeah, there’s a bunch of them out there.
(Speaker 5)
And then the next time we went to, it’s called, um, Staniel Key. It’s spelled C -A -Y, so it’s super weird over there. But yeah, you land, there’s like no one there, the airport’s falling apart. Do you have a video you can show us so people can see? Yeah, it’s on the Gram, Sean. Okay, so we’ll see if we can find it.
(Speaker 5)
Sean, see if you can find it. What I’m saying is, we have a relationship, Steve and I, where it’s beyond just transactional. Does that make sense? Are we on the same page? So, it’s a friendship. Now, just to be clear for anybody who’s, what does it mean?
(Speaker 5)
In my business, okay, if you went to a personal trainer in Tulsa, and you hired a personal trainer to work with you, they’re gonna charge you about two grand a month for a personal trainer. That’s what it is, okay? My program, what I do, it’s $1 ,700 a month. One, seven, zero, zero. That’s what it is. There’s no extra fee, no extra cost.
(Speaker 5)
And yes, we have a weekly meeting, but he can call me whenever he wants. So when his, Steve, we went through a lot in the last couple years, you know? I mean, I lost my dad of Luke Eriks a few years ago, Steve lost his father, and am I charging him per hour? How many of you have ever talked to your attorney and they charge you per hour and they called you? Yeah. How’s it going?
(Speaker 5)
Are you doing? I mean, this happens. So my whole relationship, it’s all about what we call shalom, S -H -A -L -O -M. It’s the Hebrew word for the win -win. That’s my mindset.
(Speaker 42)
I want to create a win -win.
(Speaker 5)
And so in the context of the win -win, I throw professional out completely and I focus on bro -fessional. So my clients, we tend to hug each other. We tend to invite each other to parties and birthdays. Just last week, one of my longtime clients, she’s been a client since she was 29 and she just turned 40. You know? And she was like, I don’t know what this means, but I want you to be at the birthday party.
(Speaker 5)
I’m like, OK, no problem. But I mean, there’s a lot of, like, because it’s a professional thing. So within that context, I’m not trying to use multiple syllable words to impress you. I’m not trying to say, well, in today’s meeting, we’re going to look at the syllabus, and we’re going to look at a SWOT analysis of the strengths, the weaknesses. I’m not going to make graphs and charts. How many of you have had marketing consultants that give you graphs and charts that don’t make sense?
(Speaker 30)
I’m not going to fill your inbox up with graphs and charts and analytics and data that doesn’t make any sense.
(Speaker 5)
I’m all about helping you achieve your goals.
(Speaker 73)
So within the context of that, I don’t put a huge emphasis on professional.
(Speaker 3)
I focus on bro -fessional.
(Speaker 5)
And then examples, I remember Clifton Talbert, the first black man west of the Mississippi to open a bank. I’ll never forget Clifton Talbert.
(Speaker 63)
I’m sitting down with him.
(Speaker 5)
I’m 24, 25. I had never been to a country club yet when I wasn’t DJing.
(Speaker 13)
I’d never been to one unless I was DJing.
(Speaker 5)
And Clifton says, Clay, I’d like to take you to Southern Hills, which is our high end. How would you describe Southern Hills there for anybody, Steve, that isn’t familiar with? Uppity. Uppity. Rich people. It’s the nicest country club Tulsa has.
(Speaker 5)
It’s very high end. They have the PGA events there. And they have that guy, that Tollbooth Willie. You drive up, there’s a Tollbooth Willie, and you have to verify who you are, because you can’t just get in. There’s the hut, and the guy hangs out in the hut with the security. and i’ve never been to a hot place you know unless i was deejaying if you’re the deejay always come in the back goes with the vendors you know i’m going we were going in the hot okay so i go on the hot i think i was twenty three and then you go to the bathroom and there’s a homeboy in the bathroom was there all day camping out have you seen these people than the bathroom bathroom guys have you seen the bathroom attendant they have them in the bottom of the house of them everywhere into in the bottom of the house okay so i’m in the bathroom is true story so i’ve never been to places like charles I’d never been to a bathroom where they had the bathroom guy.
(Speaker 5)
So I go in there and the bathroom guy’s like, you know, do you want a mint? And I’m going, no. They have them at these clubs, too, that… No, I don’t want a mint. A friend told me about. So I go back to my chair and Clifton’s like, you know, what happened?
(Speaker 5)
And I’m like, because I seem troubled. I’m like, there’s a dude in the bathroom offering me mints. weird ass this guy’s a weird ass this guy he’s he’s a weirdo and then you know and this kept happening they want to take your coat sir do you want me to take your coat i’m like no i i don’t i like the coat i’m good you’re good you just you stay over there i’ll leave my food we’re good and then they have the crummer who’s the if you see the crummer that guy makes me crazy have you seen the crummer there it is sean he runs by with the thing and he always offers to like clean up your crumbs have you seen this guy he’s excuse me sir do you want me he’s always like hanging out like mr d watching you like he’s always coming around and i’m just saying like i That whole relation with Clifton and Clifton with the waiter or waitress would leave and Clifton would go, you’re supposed to start on the outside. fork.
(Speaker 32)
And I’m going, oh yeah.
(Speaker 3)
And he’s like, and don’t argue with the guy who offers to take your coat.
(Speaker 5)
I’ll write that down. But it was like I needed a mentor in my life that was north of 50, that wasn’t worried about being professional, but could speak directly to me. Does that make sense? I remember Carlton Pearson, the mentor, I hired him to teach me public speaking. By the way, I’m not a big fan of some of the life choices of T . D.
(Speaker 5)
Jakes, but he was the, Carlton Pearson was mentored directly by Oral Roberts, so that’s who taught him. And then Carlton Pearson had the largest church in America, and then he mentored T . D. Jakes on public speaking. And then I hired him too, so I was his only other client, was myself, so T . D.
(Speaker 13)
Jakes and myself.
(Speaker 5)
And so Carlton would tell me things, when our meetings, he would say, Mr. Clark, for this week’s meeting, I want you to go speak to a group of high school students or college students and come back with the footage, you have your assignment, and I want to watch it with you. So we’re watching the video, coming back, and he says, Mr. Clark, I’ll never forget it, he goes, you ear -raped your audience. Ear -raped, ear -raped. And I’m like, did you say ear -raped? Yeah, that was probably one of the worst talks I’ve ever seen. I like you enough to tell you, but it’s really awful.
(Speaker 5)
Like what you did, did you pay them to watch or what?” I’m like, no. He’s like, I don’t know how the kids endured it. Are you okay? Did you make it through? And I’m like, man, this is brutal.
(Speaker 5)
He’s like, no, but it’s worse. I mean, it’s much worse than I just said.
(Speaker 15)
Let’s watch it again.
(Speaker 5)
I’m like, no, no, I don’t want to watch. Because I didn’t have an outline. I didn’t have a plan. I didn’t engage.
(Speaker 2)
I didn’t know what I was doing.
(Speaker 72)
But I needed that mentorship.
(Speaker 5)
And I think if you hide behind professionalism and corporate emails and org charts, and you lose all of that. Now, I don’t want to use the Lord’s name in vain, because I think that’s something that I believe we won’t want to use the Lord’s name in vain. That’s something I believe in.
(Speaker 67)
But as far as using slang, I don’t have a problem with slang.
(Speaker 5)
But I’m not trying to impress anybody. And I hope you aren’t either. I just want to make sure that God claps. That’s my goal. Impress an audience of one, okay? So next question is this.
(Speaker 5)
Did you say relationship? Relationship. There you go. Clay, how do you involve your kids in your business? Well, Aubrey runs Audio Visual. He’s up there doing that.
(Speaker 5)
And Too Much Smoke? We’re trying to keep Aubrey shorter, so we’ve started to get him smoking. So it helps retard the growth. He over fogs it sometimes. Yeah, we’re trying to keep him short, so we’re having him smoke. We got him smoking at a yearly, early, we got him at Marlboro’s age 15.
(Speaker 5)
Yeah.
(Speaker 13)
Okay, no, but Aubrey is running audio -visual and you learn by doing.
(Speaker 5)
How many of you know that? You learn by doing.
(Speaker 60)
Like, I don’t want him to go to a class to become a DJ.
(Speaker 5)
I mean, so Aubrey would go with me to events and learn to DJ, and he learned. And then, you know, our, our, my office was his drum room, and he played the drums, and then now he’s, now he’s taken what, that little spark, and he’s turned it into his own thing, and now he’s gone beyond what I knew in certain skill sets. And so he’s very interested in that. My daughter wants to open up a dog breeding facility. We’ll see how that goes. The other ones are doing cheerleading and they’re wanting me to take them to Brahms and take me to my friend’s house.
(Speaker 5)
pick me up in an hour later. I’m like a slave kind of valet service right now. Yeah, we want to go to our friends. Could you pick us up, mom? You know, and we were happy to do that, you know, but I don’t I don’t necessarily force entrepreneurship on them, because I do think that it’s a thing where if you want to be self -employed, you’re going to have to work a different schedule. And I’m so I let them see it, involve it.
(Speaker 5)
They help to set up for the weekend. They’re going to help clean up for the weekend. So they’re involved. Next question. They’re stairs. Yes, sir.
(Speaker 5)
Clay, how do I get butts in seats for events? Steve, I’m gonna go with you first and then we’ll go, I’ll go first, I’ll let you one up and I’ll let you two up, okay Josh. So what happens is, is you have to be very aware of what people are interested in. And so I’ll just tell you how not famous I am and how self -aware I am of that moment, okay? So, Eric and I are doing breakfast, and my dad, anybody here love golf? Anybody love golf?
(Speaker 4)
Anybody loves golf?
(Speaker 5)
Do you guys know who the shark is?
(Speaker 71)
Greg Norman, the shark.
(Speaker 5)
He’s the famous golfer, you know, the shark theme, you know?
(Speaker 70)
I think he’s South African or something.
(Speaker 9)
Where’s he from, Australia, South Africa?
(Speaker 5)
I think he’s South Africa.
(Speaker 9)
He might be Australia.
(Speaker 30)
My dad, may he rest in peace, was obsessed with golf.
(Speaker 57)
So whenever my dad had a day off, he’d watch the PGA.
(Speaker 5)
Anybody here watch golf?
(Speaker 49)
My dad would love watching golf.
(Speaker 4)
He would just kind of unwind and watch golf and he would talk about it. And so Eric and I are, he says, hey, Clay, let’s meet for breakfast and we’re going to go over some things.
(Speaker 5)
We’re behind the scenes doing some work on his book, you know, and so we’re meeting there.
(Speaker 9)
And, you know, again, I don’t forget where I came from.
(Speaker 5)
So I’m there at this restaurant at Trump Doral.
(Speaker 9)
And he says, hey, you want to meet my buddy Greg?
(Speaker 69)
And then I’m like, hey, Greg, what up?
(Speaker 9)
And then he’s like, hello, or whatever, however they talk. It’s like, hello, Clay, or hello, I’m Greg. And I’m like, hello.
(Speaker 5)
He kind of looks like, there he is. He kind of, I feel like that’s the shark guy. I don’t do golf very much, so I kind of know. It’s like if you ran into a professional bowler, maybe. And you’re like, I think that’s the guy that throws the ball. I don’t know.
(Speaker 5)
Maybe, it’s almost like if you met Bob Ross while he was still alive. Aren’t you the guy that paints the happy trees? So I’m like. What up, Greg? You know, how you doing? And then Greg says, hi.
(Speaker 5)
And all I’m saying is I’m aware at that point that people are not looking at me. They’re looking at Greg. Because I’ve touched the hand of the golf greatness. So now people are like, you know Greg Norman? That’s Greg Norman. You know Greg?
(Speaker 5)
And I’m like, I don’t know, Greg. I just was introduced to Greg.
(Speaker 3)
We were just having a great conversation about the things Greg talks about.
(Speaker 5)
But I don’t know Greg. Anyway. You know Greg Norton, and it was just like this thing, people were following me around, that’s the guy who knows Greg Norton.
(Speaker 3)
One of my clients has done very, very well, and I’m backstage for one of the events, and people see me talking to this household name, and they’re like, you’re the guy who knows the guy who’s the top 40 artist, and it’s not, and all I’m saying to the story is, I know that they’re not there to see me.
(Speaker 5)
Does that make sense? Are we on the same page? So what you have to do is you have to get people to the thing. And so to get people to the thing, you have to get people’s attention with somebody. And so you have to be very aware of what that thing is. That’s why I’m here.
(Speaker 3)
Exactly. People come here to talk to Steve. You’re welcome. He’s known online as Steve, the body, Currington.
(Speaker 47)
Steve, the body, Currington.
(Speaker 5)
But what I’m saying is I have to be aware of that. So whenever we do a Reawaken event, I’m very clear that, okay, people are here to see General Flynn. I might emcee and Segway and sell tickets and insure it and all the things I do, but they’re here to see him.
(Speaker 3)
And so we got to make sure you figure out why people are there.
(Speaker 67)
And you gotta really focus on that.
(Speaker 5)
And then you have to unrelentingly tell people about it until you hate the idea. And then you have to do it more.
(Speaker 3)
And then at the other end of the hate, you’ll find burnout. And then you take that burnout and you somehow set yourself on fire. And then you talk about it more. and then you somehow take the hate and turn it into haterade, and you sip on it, and you keep talking about it, and then people are like, all you ever talk about is the reawakened tour, and then you’re like, oh yeah, and then you talk about it, and you talk about it, and the people in the bathroom are like, all you ever do is talk about the reawakened tour at church. The guy in the bathroom says, all you ever talk about is the reawakened tour.
(Speaker 5)
Do you wanna come to the reawakened tour? I mean, I don’t know if it’s a good time. And you have to keep doing it, and so that’s a big thing. So step one, figure out why people would wanna come, Step two, you have to relentlessly market that idea to your audience until they get it, over and over. And that’s how you do it. And I don’t know if that’s helpful, but that’s the process.
(Speaker 5)
But if you’re un -self -aware, and you think that because you’re having a conference that you’re excited about, that people will show up to see you, that’s probably not gonna work, unless you’re Greg Norman or whoever the celebrity is at that time. Have you ever been to a conference, Josh, where no one else was there? Like you were there, and you’re like, what? How did I end up with this empty conference? Yeah, I think it was the first one I did where I had like six people there. Six people?
(Speaker 5)
Six people. That’s a conference. It’s good. And I remember telling you we’re going to do a conference. Very intimate. And you told me very factually that you’re going to lose money at this activity.
(Speaker 5)
Yeah. Yeah. And you did. It’s a thing. It’s a thing. And then the process to get butts in the seat there, we do our sold out conference.
(Speaker 5)
But it was seven years in the making. Seven years. Seven years in the making. Seven years. Gathering relentless Google reviews. Step one.
(Speaker 5)
Seven years. Relentless Google reviews. Hundreds of video testimonials. tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars in ads, thousands upon thousands of cold calls, and getting better and better at the sales script on the cold call and to resell existing attendees. So let me give you some specific meat on the bone here if that was your question, okay? Step one, pick a date.
(Speaker 5)
Get people there that people know about. Okay, so step one, pick a date. Step two, get people there that people know about. Step three, relentlessly market that to your ideal and likely buyers until you, just until you hate the idea and then keep going. And so, someone was asking me a question about burnout. I don’t wanna be insensitive.
(Speaker 3)
I had a young man that asked me about burnout.
(Speaker 25)
I want you to just think about this for a second.
(Speaker 5)
You cannot believe in burnout. So, last night, it was like 9, 10, 9, 10, and I got a message from a person of note, and they said, hey, Could you get together Thursday night, which is today, around like 9 .30? And I’m going, I fear 9 .30. I always wake up at 3. But they’re in town, right?
(Speaker 34)
They’re like, I’m in town.
(Speaker 5)
Can we go ahead and meet? It’s an important meeting. Can we meet tonight at 9 .30, tomorrow night at 9 .30? I’m thinking, hurt. And I’ll be very tired at 9 .30. But I go, absolutely.
(Speaker 5)
Yes. Yes. I do want to meet you at 9 .30. Yes. Because I understand the profundity of that.
(Speaker 3)
And then I’m thinking to myself, self, I’m going to wrap up that meeting at probably 11 o ‘clock.
(Speaker 49)
tonight, and then tomorrow my alarm’s gonna go off like a little demon, just, meh, meh, meh, at like three, and I’m gonna go, oh no, and I’m gonna regret this decision, and then I’m gonna start looking like Yoda.
(Speaker 56)
People are gonna get here, and they’re gonna be like, is Yoda our speaker, like a pale Yoda?
(Speaker 5)
In due time, success you’ll have, ah, I slept four hours, ah. I’m gonna start tomorrow, I’ll be, ah. Does anyone here kind of become Yoda when you get tired? Everything’s too much. I’m going to start drinking Dayquil to get myself pepped up for tomorrow at three in the morning. I don’t know.
(Speaker 5)
But I just know the consequences of saying yes to that meeting tonight will be tomorrow morning will happen fast. It’s gonna happen. And I know every reawakened tour was like the worst moment of my life, and it wouldn’t end for three consecutive days. Because we’re not done soundcheck until 10, we’re waking up at 2 or 3, and then there’s always a security breach or a threat or… Wow. So I’m just saying is, I don’t buy into burnout.
(Speaker 5)
I don’t. So every time I get bitter, I just turn it into better. If that makes any sense? I picture myself as sipping on Haterade. So anytime it’s really bad… So like, my dad passed away of Lou Gehrig’s.
(Speaker 5)
Anyone here lost your father or your mother? Anyone have that? So I remember I lost my dad of Lou Gehrig’s, you know, and I remember just going, dad, how you doing? My dad says, well, I know I have Lou Gehrig’s. I’m in my Hummer, my white Hummer at the time, and I go, can I call you back? Can I call you back?
(Speaker 5)
I gotta go to work, and can I call you back?” He’s like, yeah, I got it. So I just like, turned off the waterworks, went back into work, did my thing, and then I said, Dad, I called my dad, I’m driving down, for those of you from Tulsa, I’m driving down the river walk, or river side, and I’m driving towards the creek, and I got right, Steve, you know where that toll is, there’s a toll right there, and I go through, and I’m driving, and I got right to the toll, how many of you when you’re on the verge of crying anything could set it off and so I’m like going through I’m not a toll guy I don’t like the toll thing and I’m looking for change I maybe have like 32 cents and I need 35 or whatever the number is and I just lose it like I just cannot get it together because I know how Lou Gehrig’s is and you die of suffocation and so I’m like dad and he’s like are you good I go no No. And he’s like, okay, you good? I’m like, I’m pulled over crying at the toll road.
(Speaker 5)
Maybe it’s because it’s so much money. Maybe that’s what I’m upset about. My dad’s like, I understand. And we kind of worked through that. And I could have got to what you call burnout there. That was kind of like for me, not a high point in my life, you know?
(Speaker 5)
So then, because I’ve attended my own seminars, I’m trying to turn bitterness into betterness, right? So I got home to my house and I said to my wife, I gotta go to the man cave. Who has a man cave?
(Speaker 34)
A woman cave.
(Speaker 5)
Oh, I don’t.
(Speaker 13)
So I go to the Man Cave, I’m in the Man Cave, and I told Vanessa, I just need to be alone, I need some R &B, gonna need some R &B, I’ll be back, give me just like 12, 15 hours, I gotta go. So I go to my Man Cave, which is like a room about the size of a garage, and it got great lighting and great music, and I’m listening to some stuff, working on it. There’s a Colton Dixon song called Autopsy, which did not help, I don’t think, the waterworks. And I listened to it, so I’m going to play it for you guys. I think it might be helpful.
(Speaker 5)
But I listened to it.
(Speaker 68)
We’ll cue it up here.
(Speaker 5)
And I’m listening to Autopsy. By the way, Colton, I think he’ll be here tomorrow night. We’ll see how that all works out.
(Speaker 13)
But I listened to it. I’m going, and Colton was a client at the time, and I knew his song. And how many of you like music helps you kind of recalibrate? I promise I have a point here. But I had to like work it out, because I’m a dad. I’ve got five kids, and my dad is dying.
(Speaker 13)
My dad.
(Speaker 5)
Like it’s just like, my life goal was to hire my dad. Like that was my entire goal, was to hire my dad. i heard my dad was like 25 years old that was the highlight of my life i remember calling my dad dad you can come work for me you’re done being poor it’s awesome i remember i was like so fired up and then like to have him die or know how he’s gonna die that was even worse than him dying and it was like right near that breaking point so if you play hit play on this is a pretty powerful song this is colton dixon who did who does not know who colton dixon is Okay, Colton, long time client of mine. So I come out of my garage and I tell my wife, I got a plan, I got a plan, I got a plan. So again, I’m just helping somebody get that was your question.
(Speaker 5)
It’s a deep question. I want to give you the answer. Okay. So you got to take action. Okay. So if you’re going on the burnout phase, take your bitterness, turn it into betterness, but take action, massive action, boom, big, overwhelming, optimistic momentum, big, overwhelming, optimistic momentum.
(Speaker 5)
So I called my dad, I said, dad, what if we did like a funeral, but you’re alive? And he’s like, come again. I’m like, you know, people always come and say nice things about the person who just died. What if we do that while you can still talk? And he’s like, yes. I’m like, and then let’s set some goals.
(Speaker 5)
Your high school reunion, like your big 50, you’re supposed to be dead before the reunion, right? Can you be there for that? He goes, I’ll do it. I’ll lock on. I’ll be there till my reunion. I got it.
(Speaker 5)
I got it.
(Speaker 16)
And then my radio show, we’re going to go live on Talk Radio 1170 on September 5th.
(Speaker 5)
And you’re supposed to be dead by two months at that point. Could you stick around for that? Because it’d mean a lot. And my dad said, yeah, I’ll do it. So we, like, set goals, you know? And so now I’m calling Eddie Sutton.
(Speaker 5)
I said, coach, basketball coach for Oklahoma State. Coach, my dad’s dying. And he’s like, son, I’ll be there. When is it? So, like, he flew in. Paul Pressey, he at the time was the assistant coach for the Lakers during Kobe’s final season.
(Speaker 5)
And Paul’s like, I’m going to come visit. I’ll be there. I’ll be there. I’ll be there. This is, like, during Kobe’s final season.
(Speaker 13)
He’s the assistant coach. You can’t miss a game if you’re an NBA coach, by the way. The bank, Grand Bank, they shut the bank down for the day to send their employees to visit my dad. It was crazy.
(Speaker 3)
And so, Paul, like, he was upset, and Paul said, hey, I got something, you know I got drafted, right, by the Milwaukee Bucks? I said, yeah, he goes, I got something in the mail, I’ll send it to you. So we get it, and Paul gave my dad his NBA drafted jacket, and his hat, you know, and it was like, but we took action. And so we would cry a lot, but it was like we took action. and somehow through that that taking action some of the best times happened and at my dad’s reunion he could barely breathe and he tugs at my shirt because he could really he could use his right hand but not his left and he would grab me and he said uh this was my favorite day and it’s like but and it was rough because my kids are with me You know, and you’re just right there. It’s like right there.
(Speaker 3)
And I’d be BSing with you if I didn’t mention these things. But you’ve got to take action. Like, it just has to happen. And then at the reunion, there was a guy, I hadn’t seen him, and he said, man, you doing that for your dad, let me know.
(Speaker 5)
I have not been maintained relationship with my dad. I need to be in touch with my… And so you just got to take action. But if you lament on those feelings, and you just hold them there, that’s not good. So I would just encourage you, if you’re on the verge of a burnout situation, just go ahead and write down, I do not believe in burnout. And if you read Matthew 5 .10 from the Bible, God says, blessed are ye who are persecuted for righteousness sake.
(Speaker 5)
Steve had a going away party here, Steve, for your mom? Yeah. Here, tell us what you did there. Well, she didn’t want a funeral, but she was dead, so she didn’t have a boat. So we had a party. Here, I mean, we just brought, I mean, we brought a sax player in, which is a customer of ours that is from here in Oklahoma.
(Speaker 5)
That’s like a Hall of Fame saxophone player. And we just had a, we just had a celebration. So also if you haven’t done it, I’m, I’m, you know, when you die, everybody picks your funeral picks.
(Speaker 3)
You know what I mean?
(Speaker 9)
It’s like the ones that play on the slide. You’re proactive. You’re already choosing your slides. Oh yeah, I made my own slide. And I just add to it. And then if you’re a jerk, I just delete you.
(Speaker 9)
So I don’t, that way, like, you know what I mean? Like, if you’re, you might be in the list at some point, but then I’m going to take you out if you’re, you know, bad. But I encourage you, make your own because you want it to be what you want. Now, you can’t control after you’re gone, but yeah, we had a big, we had a big party for my mom.
(Speaker 4)
Other, other things and people that,
(Speaker 5)
were powerful. Dr. Z, I’ll never forget. He came to me after one of my staff meetings. In the middle of the day, which by the way, he’ll be here tomorrow, but it’s very unusual to see Dr. Z ever. He’s kind of mythological.
(Speaker 3)
And it’s because he runs the state’s top optometry clinic.
(Speaker 5)
He also runs a bank. He has an auto auction. He’s involved in a lot of things. And he’s been a mentor in my life. And he just bought all the radio stations. He bought all the radio stations in Tulsa now.
(Speaker 5)
So now you’re controlled by Dr. Zellner. We’re going to be pushing a narrative. Why does every commercial say Clay Clark is awesome? But Z, he showed up on the workday, unannounced, and I’m bouncing between meetings, and he’s like, hey, can I talk to you? I said, sure.
(Speaker 13)
He goes, do you need a father?
(Speaker 5)
And I go, yeah, yes. He goes, OK. Stop crying because you’re at work. That’s embarrassing. It’s letting us down a little bit. I need you to make payroll, do the things you do, but then let’s hang out.
(Speaker 5)
Let’s… I’m here. I’m your dad.
(Speaker 67)
I got you.
(Speaker 5)
And I just think we need to be that person. Like, Dr. Z was that for me, and we need to be that for somebody else. So if you’re going through that burnout phase or whatever that is, I just encourage you, like, decide you’re not gonna burn out. Okay, God’s not gonna give you more than you can handle, right? God’s with you, okay? If you want to get really depressed, read the book of Job.
(Speaker 3)
It could get worse. If you want to get like hyper motivated, maybe read Proverbs, but then don’t read the book that follows Proverbs. Don’t read Ecclesiastes.
(Speaker 30)
You know, so just I mean, if you want to get so I encourage you, though, to have a perspective.
(Speaker 66)
I’m not going to get burned out because the moment you say I’m burned out, then you’ve given that power and now you’re you’re done.
(Speaker 13)
OK, so that’s helpful.
(Speaker 5)
Long answer.
(Speaker 37)
Sarah’s next question.
(Speaker 5)
Bingo, Clay. Yeah, I’ve got a couple of questions here. It looks like it kind of comes down to when when should I add other owners, partners, investors? I worry about that. If it’s a high, if it’s a high intrigue type of business. I worry about that because whenever you have an investor, and I’ll get Sproul’s thoughts on this, once you have an investor, okay,
(Speaker 5)
you get the three C’s.
(Speaker 43)
One is you get the capital, they put money in, that’s great, you get three C’s, you get capital.
(Speaker 5)
The second though is you get connections that you might or might not want. And the third is you get counsel that you might or might not want. So certain people are really not excited about Dr. Zellner because of me. So every once in a while, he has to deal with that because of me, you know. So it’s like, Local conspiracy theorist, Dr. Zellner buys radio stations. You know, and he’s like, because I roll with you, now I’m the conspiracy guy.
(Speaker 5)
I get it, because I do facts. I get how that works. You know, so it’s like, because he’s connected to me, that’s part of that game. But it’s all, there’s good stuff to it, but there’s also bad, right?
(Speaker 3)
So you get that connections.
(Speaker 39)
Also get counsel.
(Speaker 5)
People that put in money, they want to give you influence. They want to tell you what to do. And I’m going to be very vague about this, because I want to be very respectful of anybody who recently passed away. We’ll just be kind of vague. But if you have sponsors, of your events or your podcast, and then you speak against them, bad things tend to happen.
(Speaker 65)
So I’m just telling you, every time someone invests money, they want you to do something.
(Speaker 5)
And if you start bucking it, all of a sudden, they’re like, you can’t say that. So I’m just throwing it out there. You’ve got to be very careful of who you’re taking money from. Sproul, how often do you meet somebody who’s in a financial situation that’s ridiculous because they decided to partner with somebody they shouldn’t have partnered with? Yeah, it happens quite a bit. I’m always very hesitant for clients to give up equity for people who don’t bring expertise.
(Speaker 5)
So because like I said, you get their money, but it comes at a cost. And usually it’s an unrealistic cost, right? I tend to be more preferable to selling equity to people who actually drive the ball forward. You know, if you’ve got an employee, that person’s going to help you get from a million to 10 million, that’s someone. But even then, they don’t become co -CEO with you.
(Speaker 3)
If there’s any buy -in to happen, it comes with a very preferential buy -out.
(Speaker 13)
And that money that you get from the buy -in -in is kept liquid. So if you have to reverse that transaction, you can.
(Speaker 5)
And I’ll get more deep into that question for someone who wants to know. I just want you to understand this idea. If you are going to partner with someone, please understand that you are getting their counsel, their connections, and their capital. So if it’s possible for them not to become equity, that’d be great. It’d be great if you could do that. And if you do partner, you want to have an agreement on how you’re going to break up.
(Speaker 5)
I hate that. I wouldn’t do it for marriage. I don’t recommend it for marriage, but some people do. But I’m just saying, I’m not going to get divorced. Therefore, I don’t have a plan for that. But in business, I’m just telling you statistically, it’s very unlikely that it will work out for 40 years or 30 years.
(Speaker 5)
A lot of times, I see people have a great business partner, and they pass away. And now the spouse of the partner is now partnering with you. There’s always weird things. So I just encourage you to think a lot about partnering with people. OK, next one. Clay, how do you market for a new podcast?
(Speaker 5)
Yeah, a new podcast, there’s just three things you have to do, but you have to do it over and over.
(Speaker 15)
And we have, as a culture, we have an addiction to new, do we not?
(Speaker 5)
People want like a new car, new girlfriend, new food, new flavor. And people don’t like, how many of you like the blanket that your grandma gave you is now like the most important possession? Anybody like that? I guess they’re like photos of my dad with his Bucks jacket have so much meaning to me. Because I’m like, the guy got drafted in the NBA. and they give you a hat, you know what I’m talking about, they give you the hat and the jacket, and for a guy to give another man his draft jacket and put on there, Tom, you’re my number one draft pick, this is why my dad’s dying, I’m like, that is, that’s just so, the Pressey family, I love the Pressey family, Paul Pressey, Phil Pressey, unbelievable people, it just has so much meaning to me, it has so much more meaning than, you know, an item that is a materialistic item.
(Speaker 5)
Do you have those kind of items in your life? I don’t know. I just think as you’re, as you’re growing businesses, take a moment before you make big decisions and take a step out and kind of have a long -term perspective to the decisions. And hopefully this conference has given you an opportunity to kind of call a time out and go, where am I going with my life? Because if not, you’re going to get into a weird dystopian situation.
(Speaker 5)
Stairs.
(Speaker 33)
Next question.
(Speaker 43)
Yes, sir.
(Speaker 5)
Let’s see, Clay. Let’s go to, uh, three years in the business. I’m breaking even.
(Speaker 64)
Yeah.
(Speaker 5)
How do I grow my business?
(Speaker 2)
What kind of business whose business?
(Speaker 13)
Anybody?
(Speaker 5)
What kind of business? Hi, what kind of business? What’s that? Candles. So you’re in business selling candles, you want to make more profit. Do you break even?
(Speaker 5)
Okay, so usually what happens… And wants to get rid of the nine to five job. Yeah, usually once you’ve developed market share, or some sort of loyal customer base, simply raising the prices by 20 % is probably move number one that no one wants to do, but you probably need to do it. So all of a sudden you’re in that space. Raising prices is something you have to do eventually. If you’re breaking even, if theoretically raising prices would take you to a profitability zone.
(Speaker 5)
The next is I would make a, I call it crap, but core repeatable actionable processes. And I would make an activity quota for yourself and make sure you commit to that activity. And then that’ll produce the fruit that you want. So if you’re doing this much activity to sell this many candles, magnify that times five.
(Speaker 2)
and build a system so someone who’s not you can do it and then you just scale it out that’s that’s how it’s not that makes it seem that makes sense next question next question play uh… let’s see how or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or or Company, okay, let’s go long Charles.
(Speaker 5)
Come on down.
(Speaker 3)
You’re the next contestant on what are we talking about?
(Speaker 2)
Oh, what’s your problem? Colaw. He looks like Mr. Clean, but he’s not.
(Speaker 5)
Let’s hear from Charles Colaw.
(Speaker 2)
ColawFitness .
(Speaker 5)
com, Charles Colaw. Okay. So, the ClickFunnel. I just want to be real with this. Let’s get into that for a second. How many of you feel like you represent people that think and use the internet?
(Speaker 5)
So let’s talk. A quick survey. Just a quick survey, okay?
(Speaker 63)
Moon landings.
(Speaker 13)
What are your thoughts?
(Speaker 5)
You’re watching the old footage. You’re excited about it. You look at it and go, it makes sense to me that but it is good but it you get anybody feel good about that just i’m just asking rhetorical moon landing we think we did you get no okay cuz you’re you know i don’t think what about what nixon calling the moon was that what do you think about that phone call is that what kind of self -service was using yeah no what do you think about the third tower that made itself all that building seven it was a controlled demolition it had that thought like the first two fell down the third one got scared just went for it the third was like i’m going down How many of you had that thought?
(Speaker 9)
It was crazy. It fell right on its own footprint.
(Speaker 4)
Almost like it was controlled. I’m telling you, how many of you have these thoughts?
(Speaker 3)
What about shampoo?
(Speaker 47)
20 % more, really?
(Speaker 5)
Did we have less? Did we used to have less, now we got more? You ever had that thought? Like, do we really have 20 % more? Who’s having those thoughts? So I’m just saying, what happens is with ClickFunnels, I’m not dogging the idea, just to be clear, you can’t think that you’re going to design a system that’s going to trick humans to do things they wouldn’t do that’s just so awesome.
(Speaker 5)
Here’s an example. A lot of these ClickFunnels companies will tell you that if I visit Colawfitness . com, that there’s a tool that will scrape my email off of the site. So if I’m logged into Gmail, and I go to, who’s heard about this? If I’m into Gmail, if I’m logged into Google, right, and I go to koawfitness .
(Speaker 3)
com, there’s tools that will scrape my email address and send it to you as a lead.
(Speaker 5)
You guys know about this? This is a real thing? We know about this? This is real. Okay, and then these tools, will convince you that now, I all of a sudden am going to buy from you because you scraped the email and you paralleled it with a phone number, you connected with a phone number, now you’re cold calling me.
(Speaker 5)
How many of you would be down with that as a buyer? You’re like, I’m down with that. I went to the site, I didn’t give them my number or fill out the form, but now they’re calling me. Who’s like, yeah, that worked? Anybody? I don’t know, I mean, how many of you are like, that makes sense?
(Speaker 5)
Anybody like that? They’re doing that on Facebook now, too.
(Speaker 3)
If you just visit someone’s page, then you’ll get a message from them that says, thanks for visiting our page.
(Speaker 62)
How can we help you?
(Speaker 3)
Now, for anybody here who’s from a different country, I’m not trying to, like, mock other countries, because I’m sure if I went to another country, they would mock me and whatever. But the point is, this is the calls I’m getting right now.
(Speaker 5)
I don’t know. I don’t know. I think I heard discount in there.
(Speaker 30)
I don’t know.
(Speaker 5)
Do you want to go on the cruise? I don’t know.
(Speaker 32)
I don’t even know what’s happening.
(Speaker 16)
How do you get that call? Yeah, like an hour ago. And it’s like they’re outsourcing to some guy who’s doing really mangled, like it’s… And again, if I went over there, I probably would sound to them, you know, but it’s like they don’t… I don’t know, I don’t know, I don’t know what you’re saying exactly. I appreciate you are working in a center where there’s calls being made and I appreciate and respect your occupation.
(Speaker 5)
But no, but who’s ever been like, I got duped.
(Speaker 16)
They scrape my email, and I’m in a funnel. I’m buying that crap. Who’s ever had that happen to you?
(Speaker 5)
You’re probably drunk when you did it. Okay, so the click funnel, it’s trying to sell you the concept, by and large, that people are going to take behavior and actions that they wouldn’t normally take, okay? So there’s a book called The Honest Seduction. It’s a great book. But basically, you have to get drunk. to fill out the form you i have to give you permission to call me name phone email or i don’t want you calling me we have the same page who’s ever been cold called by a barrage of people could you fill out one form on one website now fifty two people are calling who’s had that one so that could charles you had people pitch you every kind of click funnel possible over that going i do i do not like it basically that almost all my calls now but i can tell that I get tons of that.
(Speaker 5)
Have you ever had someone pitch a ClickFunnel sales tool to your organization? Like they’re trying to get you to use it? Oh yeah, absolutely.
(Speaker 16)
How bizarre does it get? How crazy does it get when you really sit down with these people that make these super elaborate ClickFunnel systems? Oh yeah, well… I watch, we’ll go through the whole funnel and all this stuff, we’ll talk about all these things and they can produce all these leads and all this potential revenue and I just kind of feel gross. It’s just weird, honestly.
(Speaker 5)
Does it convert great leads?
(Speaker 61)
No, no, it doesn’t.
(Speaker 53)
I’ll just tell you what happens is, the way they pitch it is you’re going to make a landing page, right?
(Speaker 57)
So people click the landing page and it scrapes their email and phone number and puts it into a form and then now they’re getting drip emails.
(Speaker 39)
How many of you are just like, I’m going to block that thing?
(Speaker 42)
Anybody here block that thing?
(Speaker 30)
I mean, I block people that I know.
(Speaker 5)
I mean, if I’m not down with someone, I just block them, even if I know them. It doesn’t matter how long I’ve known them, too. I just block. I’m not going to go, oh, man, this tricky, witty ClickFunnels. You got me. Here’s my money.
(Speaker 5)
So I just want to admit that, Spurl, there’s a whole industry where people will sell you that tool for like $1 ,000 a month or 12 easy payments of $1 ,000 a month. Now you’ve got this automated marketing system. Spurl, do you ever see really poor entrepreneurs that are coming to you and teaching you about their incredible automated lead generation service? Yeah, they want a shortcut. They want a shortcut. And I tell them, like, Walmart has self -checkout too, but Louis Vuitton doesn’t.
(Speaker 5)
There’s a reason for that. I don’t know, I feel like ClickFunnels by and large are like Tinder for dating.
(Speaker 3)
Yeah.
(Speaker 5)
Pretender for business or something.
(Speaker 1)
That’s a weird…
(Speaker 5)
Like, I don’t know why he doesn’t respect me. I don’t know, probably because he looked at you and tried to swipe one direction based upon your hotness in his mind and now I don’t get it. Anyway, I’m just saying, the ClickFunnel thing just typically doesn’t work. Now, it can work. So let’s talk about things where it can work, where it can work, okay? I know people that have a great online course or a great online business or a business that’s not online and you get people to actually fill out the form. Now you’ve got a sincere relationship where you requested more.
(Speaker 39)
Now they’re sending you like an e -book or maybe they’re sending you some information you wanted.
(Speaker 5)
Now they’re following up. That’s a sincere thing. But if it starts from data scraping, it doesn’t really work. Are you on the same page? This is why I like geofencing.
(Speaker 42)
For some reason, all the dentists I work with, they always come to me after getting bamboozled into some click funnel thing.
(Speaker 5)
They always come to me, every dentist, every doctor, they’re like, you know, I’ve been doing geofencing for two consecutive years and I don’t get real leads. And I’m like, well, yeah, because some guy went into Lowe’s and he’s talking to his wife about dentists and now you’re calling him. It feels weird. You know what I’m talking about?
(Speaker 30)
Geofencing is just, anyway, I’m just telling you, if you have a business, get people to opt in sincerely and then give them something of value.
(Speaker 5)
Does that make sense? but don’t make it like an elaborate 47 step thing just step one go to the site offer them something awesome like a free consultation or a chance to win a thing or whatever and then call them or follow up but don’t make it a 47 step process where they feel like they have to like you’re dating them somehow and you’re stalking them or something okay next question Clay do you got any thoughts on getting Ivermectin into Canada? Oh that’s all I think about is Ivermectin I don’t think about Ivermectin right now getting it into Canada well Ivermectin obvious horse paste obviously That’s all it is. So anybody out there who’s a horse who would like to get ivermectin, no. But I find that people want it and they can’t have access to it. So Dr. Stella is a resource for you.
(Speaker 5)
That’s drstellamd . com. Dr. Stella. Dr. Stella, now if somebody wants to get that stuff up to Canada, do they have to strap that into Bieber’s guitar cast or what? Come up here real quick and share.
(Speaker 3)
How do we get it there? Do we have to put it in a Bryan Adams concert truck? No, you keister it. How do we get it there? Do we need to ship it with the Blue Jays when they play an American team?
(Speaker 5)
How do we get it there? Actually, the best way to get Ivomicron in Canada is to find somebody in the U . S. to get it for you and then wrap it up. and ship it because i remember when dr um you know the pastor guy yeah we practically got hydroxychloroquine we poured it out and then we took a bottle of tylenol then we put hydroxychloroquine in the bottle of tylenol to send it to him let me tell you what spro and i spro spro and i haven’t talked about this but this is what i’m going to do for spro i’m going to buy ivermectin from you and i’m going to swallow a balloon filled with ivermectin But if you go to DrStellaMD . com, you can make a telemedicine appointment in all 50 states and you can get ivermectin.
(Speaker 5)
I advise everyone, get hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin in your medicine cabinet. Of course, if you use promo code CLAY, you get a discount. And if you want to swallow the balloon swallowing method, that’s what Sparrow prefers. So I’m just saying. But we also have other things that are not ivermectin, like like Covid Vita has vitamin C, zinc and quercetin that can actually help to build your immunity against some of the viruses. So we do have other things that we can ship worldwide.
(Speaker 5)
How insane is it that we’re in a world where hydroxychloroquine, which, by the way, how many of you have ever taken hydroxychloroquine? You know, someone who has. OK, I guess I violated some HIPAA rule by asking that. Who cares? So like hydroxychloroquine is a super effective and super affordable and super available medication and they’re banning it. Yeah, I like to ban Trudeau.
(Speaker 3)
Wouldn’t it be awesome to just ban Trudeau, but we can’t do that.
(Speaker 5)
So it’s all over the world. It’s the real world. So again, your website, how do they get ahold of you? com. DrStellaMD . com.
(Speaker 5)
Everybody, like I said, be prepared. Get hydroxychloroquine as a medicine. Promo code Swallow the Balloon, Stair. Promo code Clay. Don’t listen to him. All I can think of is Pulp Fiction.
(Speaker 5)
Okay, Stair’s next one. To Swallow the Balloon. All right, here we go. Clay, any thoughts on Bitcoin versus gold and silver? Yeah, I’ll get into it. I don’t want to…
(Speaker 5)
Take you guys down a rabbit trail that you don’t even know how to do. But basically, what’s happening is BRICS, Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa. Who’s following me on this? BRICS, Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa? So Sean, pull it up in Google real quick here. Just type in gold central banks dollar, and then hit news.
(Speaker 5)
Gold central banks dollar. OK, so news.
(Speaker 60)
OK, so what’s happening is Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, those countries and the BRICS block these roughly a dozen countries they’re hoarding the earth’s gold in preparation for what for introducing a new currency so it’s a gold -backed programmable currency they’ve been doing this for like seventeen consecutive years if you scroll down so it’s happening is central banks are turning to gold that’s what’s happening Okay?
(Speaker 59)
Who remembers 1971?
(Speaker 41)
Who was there?
(Speaker 5)
That was nine years before I was on Earth. Okay, 1971.
(Speaker 9)
So in 1971, gold was, the U .
(Speaker 5)
S. dollar was backed by gold. We have the same page? The dollar was attached to gold, right? But then in 1971, Nixon got us off of the gold standard.
(Speaker 43)
Also the same year that Klaus Schwab started the World Economic Forum.
(Speaker 5)
Interesting. And so, but what happens is now America just prints money.
(Speaker 43)
So if you go to usdebtclock .
(Speaker 5)
org, which is a great site. By the way, for Christmas or Thanksgiving, if you want to stir it up with the family, just pull this up on the big screen and just play it like in the background. You know, and then people will just comment on it, like, Dad, why are you making us watch this? Uncle, why are you? I just thought we could talk about it. I mean, this looks encouraging.
(Speaker 5)
Look at that. This is good. Okay. So, but what’s happening is, is the U . S. , as we keep printing more and more money, these countries do not believe in the value of the dollar.
(Speaker 5)
So they are investing their money into gold, and they are prepared to introduce a new currency. gold -backed programmable currency And that’ll be based in Shanghai.
(Speaker 13)
Sean, look it up. It’s called New Development Bank. And it’s actually a system where they’re going to beam money to each other. So it’s like a crypto backed by gold. So it’s gold -backed crypto. That’s what they’re doing.
(Speaker 13)
It’s a gold -backed programmable monetary system.
(Speaker 5)
And the technology is called mBridge. Or maybe if you want to talk about it more, the future of money would be called XRP. And XRP is a ledger of every single purchase that you will ever make. and have ever made, called XRP.
(Speaker 9)
It’s a ledger. How could that go wrong? Called XRP, and it’s where they’re going to have a perfect ledger of every purchase that’s ever been made, and that’s where that is going. So for me, I’m not giving you advice saying, do this. I’m just saying this is what I do.
(Speaker 5)
I take a quarter of any income I have, and I buy gold, and I just hold it.
(Speaker 9)
So step one, I buy gold.
(Speaker 5)
Who’s ever thought about that strategy?
(Speaker 9)
And if you do that, you know, I started buying gold. The person who first told me to do this, or told me they were doing this, was a guy who owns a bank. And I remember I said, why do you buy gold if you own a bank? He’s like, because I own a bank, I buy gold.
(Speaker 5)
And I’m like, what? How many of you have not had that Federal Reserve conversation?
(Speaker 42)
I’m going to try to go there fast.
(Speaker 3)
But the guy who owns the bank says, you know, please understand, the Federal Reserve is not federal, and there is no reserve.
(Speaker 30)
And once enough people figure that out, we got a problem.
(Speaker 5)
So I just buy gold. And I’m like, okay, so I take fake money, buy real gold, that’s what I do. And I’m going, how does that even work? He’s like, you just hold it. You know, I’m going, okay. Well, I started buying gold, it was $500 an ounce.
(Speaker 5)
I think today we’re at 3 ,800 an ounce, $3 ,700 an ounce. And so you type in Kitco, gold, that’s gonna happen. So that’s a quarter of what I do. And then the other quarter is real estate. So I like to buy real estate from emotional people. So if you’re going through a divorce, just call me once the tears stop, because that’s a great deal for somebody.
(Speaker 5)
You know, because emotional people tend to want to just sell it. Just sell it. I hate him. I hate him. sell my house you get a discount so you that’s that’s kind of what I’m doing now money the monet of the crypto currency that is who’s the alleged inventor of Bitcoin cuz I’m gonna tell me Satoshi by the way he’s supposed to be Japanese we on the same page you guys know what Satoshi Nakamoto means in Japanese look it up it means central intelligence You look it up. It’s not really that hidden of a thing.
(Speaker 5)
So I, there’s people out there that think crypto equals freedom. I don’t believe it. I believe crypto does not equal freedom, but you might, but it’s programmable money. And so for me and my family, I buy gold and I hold, and then I buy real estate. That’s what I do. But if you want to buy crypto, you can.
(Speaker 32)
And there’s, it could be lucrative to do so.
(Speaker 3)
I just can’t say that I should, I do it and I can’t endorse that. Now this crazy guy over here. He lives in Dubai sometimes, and so he actually takes a certain percentage of revenue and buys gold and a certain percentage and buys crypto. Is that correct? Bitcoin.
(Speaker 5)
Bitcoin. Why are you buying Bitcoin? Do you hate yourself? The best performing asset in the last 15 years. Okay, so there he is with facts. So, I personally buy gold because I can hold it, touch it, polish it, talk about it, feel good about it.
(Speaker 5)
Crypto, it’s a thing. It’s going up in value. Can they turn it off?
(Speaker 1)
I don’t know.
(Speaker 5)
So that’s going to be my answer to that. Stairs, next question. Clay, how can I get an SBA loan with low interest to build a residential care facility? I’m going to talk to Steve Currington about this real quick. So a lot of people will call Steve with a dream, and they’re looking for money. This happens a lot because he’s in the money lending space.
(Speaker 5)
And what I can tell you is the SBA, the Small Business Administration, they’re going to guarantee your loan. That’s what SBA loan is. It’s guaranteed by the Small Business Administration to the tune of about 90%. So if you borrow a million dollars, the SBA guarantees, let’s say, $900 ,000 of it. But they want to see a pro forma or a projection of future financial performance. They want to see a pro forma, like an actual, this is how my business will produce profit.
(Speaker 5)
They want to see that. And then they want to know what your net worth is. because if your net worth isn’t equal to how much you want to borrow, they’re going to have concerns. Any further feedback on that, Steve?
(Speaker 3)
SBA loans.
(Speaker 2)
Yeah, they’re not low interest, I can tell you that. They’ve gone up. And the SBA was actually waiving all their fees and recently stopped doing that. So you’re going to have like $30 ,000 just in closing costs for an SBA loan now.
(Speaker 4)
And if you’re in Oklahoma, I don’t think you can just build a care facility because they have like regulations on how many beds are even allowed.
(Speaker 2)
And I think you have to go buy someone else’s old folks home, as they call it. But I mean, try it. I’m not killing a dream, but I would do action step.
(Speaker 5)
I would go to the bank and I’d say, hey, I want to borrow money to buy this facility or build one, and then see what they require from you and just keep doing that till you have a better understanding of what you need. But that’s the process. And you have any thoughts on this? I mean, if they say no, they might because of your net worth, right? I mean, step one is people always ask for these dream businesses and how do I do this? It’s like, well, you can do at -home care.
(Speaker 5)
And you can work your way up from there. And you can establish financial performance. So you’re saying you would have a service, you’d start small, where you’re going to people’s homes to treat people there. Exactly.
(Speaker 3)
Save money, build it up to a thing.
(Speaker 43)
Exactly.
(Speaker 3)
So someone could qualify for that SBA loan tomorrow, and they have that dream.
(Speaker 58)
But someone else, you haven’t lost that dream.
(Speaker 37)
You’re just going to have to start small, build that financial history, and then you can qualify for that transaction.
(Speaker 5)
It’s that negative accountant talking again. OK, next.
(Speaker 57)
Here we go.
(Speaker 5)
Exactly. Clay, what would you say to someone who pushes back starting a business because they don’t have enough money? I always think you’re going to be dead soon, you know? So I mean, I was maybe morbid or whatever. But how many of you know life is a vapor? Like in the infinite timeline?
(Speaker 5)
Let’s talk about the story for a second. God’s supposed to be what? The alpha?
(Speaker 56)
the Omega, right?
(Speaker 3)
The beginning and the end, right?
(Speaker 5)
And so I have a belief of eternity. So to me, I have nothing to risk here because it’s all about eternity. So we did the reawakened tour, and this is something to think about or not think about. I knew when I did it, I would get sued. And Rudy Giuliani, how many of you know Rudy Giuliani got sued? Mike Lindell.
(Speaker 5)
And we all lost, by the way. This just in, we all lost. for undisclosed but fair amounts. OK, we are all we are all happy about the results of our. We are all happy about the result. We thought it was fair.
(Speaker 5)
We are happy to settle our cases in a mutually beneficial way. It was great. I’m so glad the Republican Party was so helpful in assisting Giuliani and myself. It was so good. OK, so like four years of my life, you know, you get sued. I knew if we did the event, we’d get sued because you’re talking about facts.
(Speaker 5)
I’ve talked to the governors and lieutenant governors, and they don’t want to talk about facts. They’re like, well, Clay, I know the models are false, the PCR tests are false, the treatments are real. I know that, but I’ll never lock down. I know it. And then they do. And then they’re like, well, I got your back, though.
(Speaker 5)
If you’re from Oklahoma, you get a lot of politicians like, hey, brother, I’ll tell you what, I’m pro -life, too, man. You’re pro -life, right?
(Speaker 30)
Yeah, I’m pro -life, thank God we’ve established that idea.
(Speaker 55)
Well, you know, he can count on me, brother, right?
(Speaker 30)
And then you see him in public, and they’re like, hey, brother, man, I love what you’re doing, you’re speaking out, woo, woo, yeah, go Pokes, you know, that kind of thing.
(Speaker 2)
But I’m going, meanwhile, like, I’m getting sued, was sued, am sued, now I’m law, you know, legal bills, who’s ever been sued?
(Speaker 55)
It’s awesome.
(Speaker 5)
One great way to lose motivation is to pay two grand a day in legal fees. You just keep doing that every day and pretty soon you’re like, wow, that’s awesome.
(Speaker 43)
And then, you know, and very few people come help.
(Speaker 3)
It’s usually people will say, I’m praying for, I’m like, I don’t know.
(Speaker 47)
if you not to pray and just donate, please.
(Speaker 5)
That’d be helpful. Okay, but anyway, so you’re going in terms of being real. So you’re going through that process and it’s expensive to do, it’s expensive and you’re going, man, this is not a viable thing, right? And so I’m just telling you that the reawakened tour was not a viable thing. Does that make sense? It wasn’t like a financially solvent thing, but it was a thing that I felt like I should do.
(Speaker 5)
And I think that we gotta sometimes separate those two. Hopefully I’m connecting with somebody here. So Charles, you’re passionate about fitness, but at a certain point, your business had to become a viable business. And so you started Colawfitness . com out of your house. So you had guys and gals, what time did you, people were coming to your house for personal training, what time did you start training every day?
(Speaker 5)
Yeah, we started at 5 a . m. , and we would run to as far as we can, probably about at 9 p . m. In the morning? five a .
(Speaker 5)
m. yeah so dudes are doing just be clear dudes are doing squats in your living room yeah we had um were they dressed about a hundred about 160 sessions or client out of your living room out of our living room out of our house so we had a yeah no but being serious like people are showing up in their gym clothes at your house yeah so we started our we rubber matted our living room and our dining room and this is what a one this is 20 years ago but one hundred and ten thousand dollar house and we were ready the half the house, and then we just trained a ton of clients. Amber had a hair salon in the back, so I was doing training in front, she had a hair salon in the back. We paid off the mortgage in like two years, three years. And we just doubled down. But that maybe wasn’t ideal, but it was viable.
(Speaker 5)
Does that make sense? So I’m trying to help somebody out there get a minimally viable product, get something that works. So we did the reawakened tour. I knew it wasn’t going to make money. I’m not upset that it didn’t. I knew it wouldn’t.
(Speaker 5)
I just, it’s a thing. It was like a calling.
(Speaker 54)
So just make sure if you’re building a business that your business is in fact viable.
(Speaker 5)
Okay, next question upstairs. Clay, why did you start a haircut company? hair. No, he loves hair. Can’t you tell? Theoretically, hair keeps growing for men.
(Speaker 5)
This is just Jen. So if it does, I thought it would be a great way to wow a customer and then wow them every month. And it seemed like a system that would make sense to me. And so that’s what we did. Same reason I started a photography company. I didn’t have a big passion for it, just something I was into.
(Speaker 5)
I have a passion for the customers. I have a passion for the people that work there. But at Care itself, I wasn’t super passionate about. But I thought it was a viable option.
(Speaker 3)
Next one.
(Speaker 12)
Clay, what is one habit or piece of lifestyle advice that you would give for success in any financial endeavor?
(Speaker 24)
Let me go back, let me go back to that previous question real quick though. The whole thing about like, you know, how do you get over the fear of starting something? Like, I know I’m not going to be alive a long time.
(Speaker 53)
So I just, I called General Flynn, I said, Flynn, I think we should, I feel like maybe God’s telling you, maybe he’s not, I don’t know.
(Speaker 5)
I feel like God’s telling me, and maybe he isn’t, I’m not that guy who typically says that very much. So I feel like I’m supposed to, we’re supposed to team up and do an event where we share the truth about what’s going on with our country, and then we point people back to God. And he goes, I know. But I didn’t expect that. I didn’t expect him to say, I know. I thought it would be like, yeah, I’ll get back with you.
(Speaker 5)
Let’s talk about it. Let’s form a committee. I almost asked Afraid for him to answer. And he goes, I know. Let’s do it. And so from the time that we talked to the time that first event was, I think it was 44 days or 45 days.
(Speaker 3)
And we had 50 ,000 people request tickets.
(Speaker 52)
And we packed out Rayma.
(Speaker 5)
And then it kept happening. So Flynn was like, let’s do one more. But I did it without fear that it wouldn’t work out, because I don’t really think about life beyond just a vapor. It was like, I’m doing it because I feel like I’m supposed to do it.
(Speaker 3)
But at the end of the day, I have a responsibility as a father to provide for my family.
(Speaker 11)
So I had to do the math and make sure it worked out, so I could lose enough money sustainably. OK, next question. And let’s go back to that question, Stairs. Yeah, so. Yeah. Peace of mind.
(Speaker 11)
Yeah, thank you, Clay. Yeah, big thing. Well, I wouldn’t recommend it.
(Speaker 51)
Okay, yeah.
(Speaker 11)
Clay, a piece of lifestyle advice for anyone that is seeking financial success. Yeah, I want to bring up Brett Rao for this one, and then we’ll take a break here. Brett Rao. Brett Rao. Where’s Brett Rao?
(Speaker 42)
Is he here?
(Speaker 11)
Is he around?
(Speaker 51)
If he’s not, we’ll find him.
(Speaker 11)
There’s Brett. So Brett is a musician. And for those of you that know or don’t know, some of you know me from my DJ career, so you kind of know this about me, and some of you don’t. But music is like my passion, and then business is like what funds the passion.
(Speaker 51)
Does that make sense?
(Speaker 16)
So music is my passion, and then business is what funds the passion. Are we on the same page? Music is what I want to do, and then, but it’s, so I started a DJ company, because I’m kind of close to that, I was around those guys.
(Speaker 11)
And so Brent is a guy that, our relationship doesn’t make sense.
(Speaker 42)
but brett um you made a song about the reawaken tour yeah and flint called me and was like dude this guy he does the kind of music you like you should call him i think that’s what happened yeah something like that and so i was like brett you know it wasn’t like an overnight thing but i said brett you should move to tulsa for a while and then just live in the guest house and we should just make a ton of music yes so i think we’ve done like 75 songs and in that range.
(Speaker 46)
Yeah, but that’s so we do that and it’s something we like to do But it’s it’s it’s like so what is the pro tip?
(Speaker 11)
I think you need to find what you’re passionate about and find a way to connect to that on a consistent basis So we’re gonna pull up a song Sean if you go to a rumble The song’s called Shalom.
(Speaker 49)
And for some of you, you might go, I don’t like your songs.
(Speaker 12)
It’s fine. You don’t have to like my songs. But it’s a thing where I like making music. I really do. But that’s what I like to do. But maybe for you, it’s like, how many of you have to go on a walk?
(Speaker 12)
If you go on a walk, your day’s better.
(Speaker 11)
Anybody here go for a walk?
(Speaker 31)
It helps.
(Speaker 37)
Anybody here, you go on a walk and you’re pissed?
(Speaker 50)
Like, you were happy, but now you’re like, and we’re on a walk, and I’m not happy.
(Speaker 11)
How many of you have runner’s high? You’re running, I have a runner’s high.
(Speaker 15)
It’s great.
(Speaker 11)
How many of you? that? How do you go, runner’s high is not a thing. I am pissed when I run. How many of you like really going to church once a week, that’s good for you? How many of you want to kind of go twice a week?
(Speaker 11)
How many of you listen to Julie Greene like every morning? How many of you, if you read the Bible every day, that’s where you gotta be, every day?
(Speaker 46)
How many of you are like, honestly, I skipped a decade, but now I’ve read it again today, and I’ll probably do it again.
(Speaker 29)
So we have our own routine.
(Speaker 11)
How many of you need to work out first thing in the morning?
(Speaker 32)
How many of you need to have a vacation once a month?
(Speaker 11)
Like a two day something, maybe it’s nothing fancy, but just a two day.
(Speaker 5)
How many of you have to have a Sabbath and a half every week? You gotta go like a day and a half. How many of you need like a social media Sabbath once a day? So you gotta figure out your flow, and so somewhere on page four, you need to write that down, because you gotta find a way to, it’s like you’re swimming in heavily, it’s like heavy water, you’re swimming upstream, that’s what entrepreneurship’s like, and you gotta swim to some sort of, like, safety, and once you get to that rock, you’re like, okay, I’m in the middle of this river, it’s raging, but I made it to that rock, and now I’m gonna go to the next rock, and I’m gonna get across, but I gotta go one at a time. You gotta find a way to get there. So this song, Shalom, Brett, What does the word Shalom mean to you?
(Speaker 5)
It means peace. It also means co -laboring, collaboration, you know? And I think that we’re called to co -labor with Christ. So I personally think that Christians, in my opinion, should be the best at collaboration. That’s what I believe.
(Speaker 9)
So Shalom is a thought. So Pastor Jackson Laumeyer was talking about Shalom at church one Sunday, and I got… So I’ll sing myself little voice memos. That’s kind of how it starts. So I’ll sing myself a little voice memo, and then I got it, okay.
(Speaker 5)
And then Dr. Z, we met the other day, and Dr. Z called me, and he’s like, hey, dude, And he called me out of the blue and he just said, hey, I really appreciate our friendship at ABC 123.
(Speaker 24)
I want to let you know.
(Speaker 5)
And he is like an incredible gift that he gave me.
(Speaker 14)
And there was no need for it.
(Speaker 8)
And I’m going, continue to be the best second dad I could ever have.
(Speaker 2)
Like, I don’t even understand. And he’s like, well, you’re welcome. And I go, what is it about you that causes you to be so awesome? Why? And he’s like, it’s a win -win. Actually, if I help you, it helps me.
(Speaker 2)
So if I help you, it actually helps me.
(Speaker 5)
And he explains that to me a lot, even though I’ve heard it for 20 consecutive years. that idea of helping somebody else helps yourself it’s powerful so anyway so this is a song we just did and this is kind of from how i recalibrate and maybe it makes maybe you say your songs make me depressed that’s fine but here we go let’s hit play Just trying to find my home. I’m looking for shalom. I’m just trying to find my home. I’m looking for shalom. Just trying to find my home.

(Speaker 5)
D. is a client of ours, and his success fires me up. Make sense? So he’s a client. What do you sell? What’s your thing?
(Speaker 5)
I am a college planner, and I help kids get into college and get scholarships, even though Clay doesn’t like college. But he also, you sent me the Clark Griswold. Yes.
(Speaker 24)
The large, you see the cutout?
(Speaker 3)
It’s Clay Clark Griswold. There you go, he sent that to me. So, like, I get fired up by helping my clients hit their goals. Like, to me, that’s never -ending excitement. I like meeting people, so that’s one for me. So, take your own notes.
(Speaker 3)
But for me, what fires me up is, one, making music. Second is helping a client hit their goals. you know, a handful of musicians I’ve worked with when they got their record deal or got their big concert. I remember one of my clients, we went to the B .
(Speaker 5)
O .
(Speaker 40)
K.
(Speaker 30)
and they’re in front of like 20 ,000 people or was it 15?
(Speaker 45)
Is the B .
(Speaker 44)
O .
(Speaker 19)
K.
(Speaker 5)
15 ,000? The 15 ,000, 12 ,000, it’s a big number. Be okay. Bank of Oklahoma Center. And I remember just going there and I like, even though it wasn’t me on stage, seeing them have a full stadium, that to me is like, yes, we did it, man! You know?
(Speaker 5)
One of my buddies, he’s now very close to being an NBA head coach. That’s exciting for me. Like that’s, so helping people get their goals. Three is reading the Bible to me is a really, it’s good for me now. But five years ago, I used to say it was boring.
(Speaker 43)
I think it’s because my brain was small, and I couldn’t figure it out, and I was dumb.
(Speaker 3)
But to me, how many of you like reading the Bible recharges you a little bit? Another thing is being around people that get the shalom idea. I can’t stand scammers and spammers. You know what I’m talking about? They’re always trying to sell you. You ever been around those people?
(Speaker 3)
They’re always trying to sell you. I don’t like that thing.
(Speaker 42)
And I like going with my family on a nightly basis to our oasis called my house.
(Speaker 3)
Like I love going to the house and hanging out with my wife and kids and asking my kids what’s happening at school and what’s going on and that whole thing, right? Those are things that rejuvenate me. We’re going to have you guys watch this final song here, but for me, if I don’t have those things in my life, I will get very not happy quickly. Anybody like that?
(Speaker 5)
Okay.
(Speaker 3)
So we come back, we’re going to talk a little bit more about some technical stuff for branding, but I want to make sure we’re leaving here with some life optimization, okay? But this song, Realize, Realize, Realize, Brett and I worked on this one, and this song to me has a really deep meaning because I’m, the Reawaken tour for me was about leading people to Jesus and not about republicanism or something, and I feel like that sometimes people don’t know that. So that’s what this song’s about, so you can play. ♪ I still believe, that’s why I can’t see it ♪ I still believe, that’s why I can’t see it That’s why I can see it I still believe it That’s why I can see it That’s why I can see it Realize Realize Realize Realize Realize Realize Realize Realize I can’t give in To our favorite record What?
(Speaker 3)
I want to see it you can’t Realize, yeah, realize. I see it, yeah, I see it. You got a choice to make, so decide it. Ain’t no in between, there’s no hiding. Yeah, I know the end, I prophesied it. Don’t be surprised when the king himself is violent.
(Speaker 3)
It beats with me.
(Speaker 5)
You either win or lose, OK? Holy Spirit offers to serve what’s really going on. Realize, realize, realize. So that’s like the stuff that I like to do, that maybe you don’t like to do, but you got stuck with me for six minutes or whatever. But I just encourage everybody, you gotta find a way to recharge. You gotta find a way to do it because if you don’t, you’re gonna end up being like a shell of what you could be.
(Speaker 5)
And it’s really, the burnout thing is a real problem for people if they don’t find a way to rejuvenate and recalibrate. So what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna take a quick break here. We’re gonna come back here at 4 .15.
(Speaker 3)
We’re coming back at 4 .15, 4 .15 for our final session of the day. And then we have a VIP dinner for those of you who chose to do that tonight at 5 .30 at my house. We also have helicopter rides. And then tomorrow we’re gonna restart right at 7 a . m. The bookstore is open.
(Speaker 3)
Bookstore’s open. It’s $25 or whatever price you wanna pay for anything you wanna get there. And then if you wanna schedule 13 -point assessments with myself, and if you don’t, that’s fine, but if you do, James is right there. That’s James right there. He’s paid to be there. That’s James.
(Speaker 3)
And he’s here to help you. So we’ll come back here in 15 minutes. We’ll come back here in 15 minutes. Okay. Come back in 15 minutes. Okay, Aaron Antis, guess who’s joining us for the December 4th and 5th 2025 Thrivetime Show Business Growth Workshop.
(Speaker 3)
Ooh, Santa Claus?
(Speaker 5)
No, we will not be joined by Santa Claus, but we will be joined by Eric Trump, the son of the 45th and now 47th president of these United States. And yes, Amanda Grace will be in the place.
(Speaker 3)
And yes, Dr. Stella Manuel will be there, so you know it will go well.
(Speaker 30)
Yes, we have Mel Kaye in the house.
(Speaker 3)
Pastor Phil and Tammy Hotzenpiller will be hosting this event at their beautiful church right there in sunny Anaheim, California. Yes, folks, make this a December to remember. Do you spread? Make this a December to remember and join us at the two -day interactive Business Growth Workshops. For over 20 years, folks, I’ve been hosting Business Growth Workshops where we’re going to teach you marketing, sales systems, human resources, accounting, social media marketing, branding, sales training, search engine optimization, accounting, workflow development, financial management, all this and more. How do you get tickets?
(Speaker 3)
Go to thrivetimeshow . com. Again, how do you get tickets? Go to thrivetimeshow . com. And this just in from our home office.
(Speaker 3)
President Donald J. Trump is now the 47th president of these United States as well. I’m Ron Burgundy. Need someone to run the companies for him. And so the man that runs the Trump organization for Donald J. Trump as he was the 45th president of the United States and now the 47th president of the United States is Eric Trump. So Eric Trump is here to talk about time management, Promoting from within, marketing, branding, quality control, sales systems, workflow design, workflow mapping, how to build. I mean, everything that you see, the Trump hotels, the Trump golf courses, all their products, the man who manages Billions of dollars of real estate and thousands of employees is here to teach us how to do it.
(Speaker 3)
You are talking about one of the greatest brands on the planet from a business standpoint. I mean, who else has been able to create a brand like the Trump brand? I mean, look at it. And this is the man behind the business for the last, pretty much since 2015. He’s been the man behind it, so you’re talking, we’re into nine, going into 10 years of him running it, and we get to tap into that knowledge. That’s gonna be amazing.
(Speaker 3)
Now, think about this for a second.
(Speaker 23)
Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? German?
(Speaker 40)
Forget it, he’s rolling.
(Speaker 5)
It ain’t over now! The lineup continues to grow, and this is how we do our tickets here at the Thrive Time Show. If you want to get a VIP ticket, you can absolutely do it. It’s $500 for a VIP ticket. We’ve always done it that way. Now, if you want to take a general admission ticket, it’s $250, or whatever price you want to pay.
(Speaker 5)
And the reason why I do that, and the reason why we do that, is because we want to make our events affordable for everybody. I grew up without money. I totally understand what it’s like to be in a tight spot. So if you want to attend, it’s $250, or whatever price you want to pay. That’s how I do it. And it’s $500 for a VIP ticket.
(Speaker 5)
There’s a lot of togetherness.
(Speaker 41)
and closeness camaraderie so again if you want to get tickets for this event all you have to do is go to thrive timeshow .com
(Speaker 5)
com go to thrive timeshow . com when you go to thrive timeshow . com you’ll go there you’ll request a ticket boom or if you want to text me if you want a little bit faster service you say i want you to call me right now i just texted my number it’s my cell phone number my personal cell phone number we’ll keep that private between you, between you, me, everybody. We’ll keep that private. And anybody, don’t share that with anybody except for everybody. That’s my private cell phone number.
(Speaker 5)
It’s 918 -851 -0102. 918 -851 -0102. I know we have a lot of Spanish speaking people that attend these conferences.
(Speaker 25)
And so to be bilingually sensitive, my cell phone number is 918 -851 -0102.
(Speaker 40)
That is not actually bilingual.
(Speaker 5)
That’s just saying Juan for a Juan. It’s not the same thing. I think you’re attacking me. Now, let’s talk about this.
(Speaker 39)
Now, what kind of stuff will you learn at the Thrive Time Show workshop?
(Speaker 34)
So Aaron, you’ve been to many of these over the past seven, eight years.
(Speaker 5)
So let’s talk about it. I’ll tee up the thing and then you tell me what you’re going to learn here, OK? OK. You’re going to learn marketing, marketing and branding. What are we going to learn about marketing and branding? Oh, yeah.
(Speaker 5)
We’re going to dive into, you know, so many people say, oh, you know, I got to get my brand known out there like the Trump brand. You want to get that brand out there. It’s like, how do I actually make people know what my business is? and make it a household name. You’re going to learn some intricacies of how you can do that. You’re going to learn sales.
(Speaker 5)
So many people struggle to sell something. This just in, your business will go to hell if you can’t sell.
(Speaker 4)
So we’re going to teach you sales.
(Speaker 3)
We’re going to teach you search engine optimization, how to come up top in the search engine results. We’re going to teach you how to manage people. Aaron, you have managed, no exaggeration, hundreds of people throughout your career and thousands of contractors. And most people struggle with managing people. Why does everybody have to learn how to manage people?
(Speaker 38)
of all, people are, you either have great people or you have people who suck.
(Speaker 3)
So it could be a challenge, you know, learning how to work with a large group of people and get everybody pulling in the same direction can be a challenge. But if you have the right systems, you have the right processes, and you’re really good at selecting great ones.
(Speaker 5)
And we have a process we teach about how to find great people. the people who have a great attitude, they’re teachable, they’re driven, all of those things, then you can get those people all pulling in the same direction. So we’re going to teach you branding, marketing, sales, search engine optimization.
(Speaker 3)
We’re going to teach you accounting. We’re going to teach you personal finance, how to manage your finance. We’re going to teach you time management.
(Speaker 37)
How do you manage your time?
(Speaker 3)
How do you get more done during a typical day?
(Speaker 36)
How do you build an organization if you’re not organized?
(Speaker 18)
How do you do organization?
(Speaker 8)
How do you build an org chart?
(Speaker 22)
Everything that you need to know to start and grow a business will be taught during this two day interactive business workshop. Now, let me tell you how the format is set up here. Again, folks, this is a two day interactive 15.
(Speaker 21)
Think about this, folks. It’s two days.
(Speaker 15)
Each day it starts at 7 a . m.
(Speaker 3)
and it goes until 5 p .
(Speaker 20)
m.
(Speaker 15)
So from 7 a . m. to 5 p . m. two days, it’s a two day interactive workshop. The way we do it is we do a 30 minute teaching session and then we break for 15 minutes for a question and answer session.
(Speaker 20)
So, Aaron, what kind of great stuff stuff happens during that 15 minute question and answer session after every teaching session. I actually think it’s the best part about the workshops because here’s what happens. I’ve been to lots of these things over the years.
(Speaker 15)
I’ve paid many thousands of dollars to go to them. And you go in there and they talk in vague generalities and they’re constantly upselling you for something trying to get you to buy this thing or that thing or this program or this membership. And you don’t you leave not getting your very specific questions answered about your business or your employees or what you’re doing. on your marketing.
(Speaker 7)
And what’s awesome about this is we literally answer every single question that any person asks.
(Speaker 4)
And it’s very specific to what your business is. And what we do is we allow you as the attendee to write your questions on the whiteboard. And then we literally, as you mentioned, we answer every single question on the whiteboard. And then we take a 15 minute break to stretch. And this is also your opportunity to meet some of the great speakers, like Pastor Dave Scarlett. You could meet Mel K. You could meet Amanda Grace.
(Speaker 4)
You could meet Dr. Stella Emanuel. You could just grab a coffee. You could find some alone time. You could get lost in the bathroom. You could try to go and get a photo with one of the speakers.
(Speaker 9)
You could try to photobomb a photo where someone else is getting a photo with the speakers.
(Speaker 29)
You could go attempt to find your phone, wallet, and your keys.
(Speaker 2)
My phone, wallet, keys.
(Speaker 4)
Yeah, phone, wallet, keys.
(Speaker 10)
Whoa. Now that’s a good idea! That means you have less than 3 % of our population that’s even self -employed. So you only have 3 out of every 100 people in America that are self -employed to begin with, and when Inc. Magazine reports that 96 % of businesses fail by default, By default, you have a one out of 1 ,000 chance of succeeding in the game of business. But yet the average client that you and I work with, we can typically double this.
(Speaker 10)
No hyperbole, no exaggeration. I have thousands of testimonials to back this up. We have thousands of testimonials to back it up. But when you work with a home builder, when I work with a business owner, we can typically double the size of the company within 24 months. And you say, double? Yeah, there’s businesses that we have tripled.
(Speaker 15)
There’s businesses we’ve grown 8x. There’s so many examples. can see at thrivetimeshow .com.
(Speaker 5)
com. But again, this is the most interactive, best business workshop on the planet. This is objectively the highest rated and most reviewed business workshop on the planet. Add to that Eric Trump, the man that runs the Trump Organization. You say, Clay! I still, I’m not going to get a ticket unless you give me more.
(Speaker 5)
Okay, fine.
(Speaker 4)
We’re going to serve you the same meal both days. True story. We have, we cater in the food and because I keep it simple, I literally bring him the same food both days for lunch. Who’s with me? Let’s go. Come on.
(Speaker 4)
incredible Mexican restaurant. That’s going to happen. I want more. Give me more. Okay. I’m not going to mention their names right now because I’m working on it behind the scenes here.
(Speaker 4)
We just continue to add more and more success stories. So if you’re out there today and you want to change your life, you want to give yourself an incredible gift, You want a life -changing experience. You want to learn how to start and grow a company. Go to Thrivetimeshow . com. Go there right now.
(Speaker 4)
Thrivetimeshow . com. Request a ticket for the two -day interactive event. Again, the event’s going to be on December 4th and 5th in sunny Anaheim, California. Great weather.
(Speaker 5)
Make this a December to remember. Eric Trump, the man who leads the Trump Organization. It’s going to be a blasty blast. There’s no upsells. Aaron, I could not be more excited about this event. I think it is incredible.
(Speaker 5)
And there’s somebody out there right now, you’re watching and you’re like, but I already signed up for this incredible other program called Smoke Your Way to Thin. You think that’s going to change your life? I promise you this will be 10 times better than that. It’s like I picked the wrong week to quit smoking. Don’t do the Smoke Your Way to Thin conference. That is, I’ve tried it.
(Speaker 5)
Don’t do it. Chain smoking is not a viable, I mean, it is life changing. It is life changing.
(Speaker 35)
If you become a chain smoker, it is life changing.
(Speaker 4)
Not the best weight loss program though.
(Speaker 34)
So if you’re looking to have life -changing results in a way that won’t cause you to have a stoma, get your tickets at Thrivetimeshow .
(Speaker 4)
com.
(Speaker 5)
Again, that’s Aaron Antus, I’m Clay Clark, reminding you and inviting you to come out to the two -day interactive Thrivetimeshow workshop in beautiful Anaheim, California. I’m Vince Suzuki, also from Sarasota, Florida. He dragged me here. Yep, I was here in 2018 and it changed my business and I built another business and now I’m here to do it again with this business. Yeah, I’m a brand strategist and it’s been really easy to go to a lot of events like this and just leave really in your head like what to do next. And already there’s the strategic, step -by -step, real -life implementation that we can do to our business and it’s so great to be here.
(Speaker 5)
I’m very excited that Eric Camp is here and that is going to be epic. Hi, my name is Erica and it has been amazing being here at the conference. I’m learning so much. Everything is perfect for me. Clay Clark, man, he is one character. That’s a good word for him, character.
(Speaker 5)
Yeah, that is it. Good, driven, smart, and I’ve never met a guy who was so hyper all the time. He’s doing so much good. And then I met his mother and she just says, She just lets him be Clay Clark. I mean, he’s endorsed by his mother and he’s doing magnificent work. So it was great meeting you out there and all the people that he surrounds himself with.
(Speaker 5)
Clay Clark starts his days at five o ‘clock in the morning. It’s incredible. He’s, he’s like, he’s, he’s a machine. He’s a machine. But his, you know, I could, I have problems with my company starting at nine o ‘clock. He has hundreds of people showing up at 5 .00 AM in Tulsa, Oklahoma, man.
(Speaker 5)
He’s a leader of a leader. He’s fantastic young man. No, he is.
(Speaker 3)
And the greatest thing that’ll come out of all of it, aside from winning the presidency of the United States, we’ll get to that in a second.
(Speaker 4)
Was an everlasting friendship between clay and I because I’m telling you there’s not too many people in the world that have this man’s backbone and his Tenaciousness and his perseverance and so buddy. I love you and to general Flynn. Thank you. You guys are incredible You guys are incredible warriors. You guys are incredible incredible warrior. So thank you my friend plate Clark is here somewhere Where’s my buddy clay clay is the greatest?
(Speaker 4)
I met his goats today. I met his dogs. I met his chickens. I saw his compound. He’s like the greatest guy. I ran from his goats, his chickens, his dogs.
(Speaker 4)
So this guy’s like the greatest marketer you’ve ever seen, right? His entire life, Clay Clark, his entire life is marketing. Four thousand percent from February to February. Now, I can better that. OK, Clay, I don’t think you know this. I don’t think you know this.
(Speaker 4)
I’m pinching myself. And if I cry, forgive me. In the last two and a half days, we have bettered our entire month of February in the last two and a half days. So and the phone’s blowing up. Everything’s just blowing up. You’re right.
(Speaker 4)
It is like a rocket ship. So we’re pinching ourselves. I learned at the Academy at Kings Point in New York. Octa non verba. Watch what a person does not what they say. We’re gonna move into action.
(Speaker 4)
Under siege my family’s fight to save our nation. So you go to Amazon right now you buy a copy of the book And you just text a screenshot of your proof of purchase to my cell phone number, 918 -851 -0102. So text my number, 918 -851 -0102. So again, step one, you go here to amazon . com, you buy a copy of the book Under Siege, then you just text a screenshot of your purchase, your proof of purchase. You text my number, 918 -851 -0102.
(Speaker 4)
You have a chance to win a dinner at Mar -a -Lago with Eric Trump and myself, and there’s more. Mar -a -Lago right there just for your viewers. It’s the most exclusive private club in the world. $2 million to get into, just base membership fee. And I promise we’re going to make your night absolutely incredible.
(Speaker 5)
Clay goes, listen, why don’t we do this?
(Speaker 33)
Why don’t we put it out to all the amazing Reawaken people, all the people who supported us all around the country, all around at every one of these conferences who adore your family.
(Speaker 5)
We’ve got to beat The New York Times. The New York Times is going to do everything they can. Even though we’re number one on Amazon right now, we just hit number one this morning. New York Times is going to do everything they can to keep you from being number one bestseller. You know that, I know that. You know the games that they’re willing to play.
(Speaker 4)
But Clay goes, why don’t we do a couple things? First of all, love having dinner with Clay.
(Speaker 13)
He’s the greatest.
(Speaker 20)
Second of all, why don’t we bring one of the amazing people that I guarantee you I’ve been in front of at all these events. Why don’t we bring a couple to dinner at Mar -a -Lago?
(Speaker 15)
And I said, absolutely, consider it done. So I said, they have to text you, Clay. They can’t text me because we’ll be getting 1 ,000 of these. But yeah, go buy a book, text Clay, and we’ll set up a dinner. I’ll make sure you guys have the absolute time of your life. I want to pull this up again one more time here, Jax, because I think sometimes I’m a poor communicator, and I need to work on communicating more effectively.
(Speaker 14)
So you go to Amazon.
(Speaker 20)
That’s step one, OK? Yes. You buy a copy of the book, Pop Quiz.
(Speaker 13)
What book?
(Speaker 14)
Under Siege.
(Speaker 32)
You buy a copy of Under Siege and then you screenshot a picture of that and you text my phone number it’s 918 -851 -0102 folks that that is my cell phone number so we’ll keep that private between you and me and everybody and then when you text that to me you have a chance to win a backstage pass to the actual in -person business workshop that’s a business growth workshop December 4th and 5th featuring Eric Trump in Anaheim, California.
(Speaker 15)
and you have a chance to win dinner with Eric Trump and myself at Mar -a -Lago. Now, someone says, when does this contest end? Now, Eric, your birthday was hijacked, OK?
(Speaker 31)
So your birthday was hijacked.
(Speaker 30)
January 6th is this man’s birthday.
(Speaker 9)
He now has to switch his birthday because no one wants to talk about his birthday on January 6th anymore.
(Speaker 4)
So we’re going to run this promotion until November 5th. That’s my birthday. No, no. So we’re going to run it until October 14th. October 14th.
(Speaker 9)
It has to be pre -sale.
(Speaker 29)
This just in.
(Speaker 4)
It has to be between October 14th. That’s why we’re clarifying.
(Speaker 10)
So between now and October October 14th. Now, folks, let me just clarify this real quick here. So make sure I’m leaving you with some good clarity here. One, you buy a copy of Under Siege on Amazon. That’s the step one. Step two, you text a screenshot of that purchase to my cell phone number, 918 -851 -0102.
(Speaker 10)
Three, you have to do that before October 14th. Before October 14th, this just in, it has to be before October 14th. And you have a chance to win a backstage pass to the upcoming business workshop. You have a chance to have dinner with Eric Trump at Mar -a -Lago. And I want to tell you some benefits of buying the book. One, I’ve read the book.
(Speaker 15)
It’s incredible. father out there and you want to learn about mentoring your kids, it’s a great book. If you want to learn about American history, it’s a great book.
(Speaker 7)
If you want to make America great again, it is a great book. It’s a book you’ve got to read. now here is just a quick editor’s note You do not have to buy a copy of Eric Trump’s book under siege to be entered into the drawing Just text the number. All you have to do is just text the number 9 1 8 8 5 1 0 1 0 2 and you will be entered into the drawing for a chance to win a copy of Eric Trump’s book under siege and a once -in -a -lifetime opportunity to hang out with Eric Trump and Clay Clark at Mar -a -Lago, and win a backstage pass at the upcoming Thrivetimeshow . com two -day interactive business workshop. Again, you do not have to buy a copy of the book to be entered into the drawing, but it would be great if you’d buy a copy of the book, because that would make sense.
(Speaker 7)
However, that is all, and now back to the interview. Also, Eric, a final question here for you. You are donating a portion of the proceeds to support Charlie Kirk in his continued mission there. Could you tell us about that briefly there, and then we’ll let you get back to what you’re doing today, sir? Yeah, well, I was on with Benny Johnson. Benny Johnson was a great friend of Charlie Kirk’s, as you know.
(Speaker 7)
And you know Benny, and Benny’s a very good friend of mine. And Kash Patel is a very good friend of mine and was a very good friend of Charlie’s. you watch everybody that’s up on that stage every single day as they as they got to the bottom of exactly what happened and they brought justice to what happened or trying to bring justice to what happened. And it’s it’s it’s kind of unthinkable. But you know St. Jude and I talk a lot about St. Jude in this this book because that’s been you know fighting pediatric cancer has always been at you know a cornerstone of my life. But Charlie truly, truly, truly was the epitome of being under siege, not only in the movement that he helped create, but obviously in how his life was savagely taken.
(Speaker 7)
My book came out three days, two and a half days before Charlie’s assassination. You better believe he would have been the final chapter of this book as just another illustration of what these people will do at any cost. to try and win, because it’s who they are. It’s the not -so -tolerant left. And we can never let our voices be extinguished, Clay.
(Speaker 7)
You stood on that stage as well as anybody I’ve ever seen stand on a stage. You did at Reawaken events all across the country, which you funded out of your back pocket because you believed in America. You believed in a greater country. And you were on that stage every single day. You know I was on that stage with you every single day. And I was on the turning point stage with Charlie all the time.
(Speaker 7)
on stages across the country and three campaigns. I’ve stood on thousands of them. And honestly, they don’t want us to stand on that stage. That’s why they’re sending bullets from rooftops. They don’t want us to go out there with a bullhorn and have loud, independent thought. When they see these beautiful arenas full of kids and they’re cheering, they’re celebrating, they’re holding American flags, they don’t want that.
(Speaker 7)
And so they want to silence us. They want to silence our voice. That’s why they killed Charlie. That’s why they tried to kill my father. That’s why they sent 112 subpoenas to me. That’s why they wanted me in jail and my father in jail and Don in jail.
(Speaker 7)
That’s why they made up the hoaxes. They wanted to see us destroyed and gone with no voice, with no money, with no company, with no political aspirations, gone. And we can’t allow that to happen.
(Speaker 18)
And so we need to make sure that turning point continues.
(Speaker 7)
We need to make sure incredible patriots like you continue to spread you know, sensical speech, pro -American values, pro -religious, pro -constitutional values. And that’s why I want to donate the funds to Turning Point. I want to donate a portion of the funds to Turning Point because we can’t allow, we can’t allow anarchy to win and we can’t allow voices to be deleted. And we need to keep Charlie’s legacy going. Eric Trump, thank you so much for joining us.
(Speaker 18)
Pastor Jackson, thank you so much for joining us. Absolutely. Eric, have a great day. We really do appreciate you.
(Speaker 7)
Everybody go out there and buy that book, Undersea. Just not too early to buy your Christmas gifts. And if you have a Democrat in your family, buy them a copy as well. Eric Trump, take care. Thanks, guys.
(Speaker 18)
See you later.
(Speaker 28)
But Clay Clark, man, he is one character.
(Speaker 2)
That’s a good word for him, character. Yeah, that is it. Good, driven, smart. And I’ve never met a guy who was so hyper all the time. He’s doing so much good. And then I met his mother and she just says, she just lets him be Clay Clark.
(Speaker 2)
I mean, so, you know, he’s endorsed by his mother and he’s doing magnificent work. So it was great meeting you out there and all the people that he surrounds himself with. His Clay Clark starts his days at five o ‘clock in the morning. Oh, it’s incredible. Yeah. He’s, he’s like, he’s, he’s a machine.
(Speaker 2)
He’s a machine. But his, you know, I have problems with my company starting at nine o ‘clock. He has hundreds of people showing up at 5 a . m. in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Man, he’s a leader of a leader.
(Speaker 2)
He’s a fantastic young man. No, he is. Clay Clark is here somewhere. Where’s my buddy Clay? Clay’s the greatest. I met his goats today.
(Speaker 2)
I met his dogs. I met his chickens. I saw his compound. He’s like the greatest guy. I ran from his goats, his chickens, his dogs. So this guy’s like the greatest marketer you’ve ever seen, right?
(Speaker 2)
His entire life, Clay Clark, his entire life is marketing. 4 ,000 % from February to February. Now I can better that. Okay, Clay, I don’t think you know this. I don’t think you know this. I’m pinching myself and if I cry, forgive me.
(Speaker 2)
In the last two and a half days, we have bettered our entire month of February in the last two and a half days. So, and the phone’s blowing up. Everything’s just blowing up. You’re right. It is like a rocket ship.
(Speaker 2)
So we’re pinching ourselves, actually. I learned at the Academy at King’s Point in New York, acta non verba. Watch what a person does. not what they say. I definitely just stared at the walls figuring out how to make my facility look like this place. This place rocks.
(Speaker 2)
It’s invigorating. The walls are super, it’s just very cool. The atmosphere is cool. The people are nice. It’s a pretty cool place to be. Very good learning atmosphere.
(Speaker 2)
I literally want to model it and steal everything that’s here at this facility and basically create it just on our business side. Play is awesome. Hilarious. I literally laughed so hard that I started having tears yesterday. And we’ve been learning a lot, which, you know, we’ve been sitting here, we’ve been learning a lot, and so the humor definitely helps, it breaks it up. But the content is awesome, off the charts, and it’s very interactive, you can raise your hand, it’s not like you’re just listening to the professor speak, you know?
(Speaker 2)
The wizard teaches, but the wizard interacts and he takes questions, so that’s awesome. If you’re not attending the conference, you’re missing about three quarters to half of your life.
(Speaker 27)
You’re definitely, it’s pro.
(Speaker 3)
worth a couple thousand dollars. So, So, you’re missing the thought process of someone that’s already started like nine profitable businesses. So, not only is it a lot of good information but just getting in the thought process of Clay Clark or Dr. Zellner or any of the other coaches. Getting in the thought process of how they’re starting all these businesses, to me, just that is priceless. That’s money. Well, we’re definitely not getting upsold here.
(Speaker 3)
My wife and I have attended conferences where it was great information, and then they upsold us like half the conference. And I don’t want to like bang my head into a wall. And she’s like banging her head into the chair in front of her. Like, it’s good information, but we’re like, oh my gosh, I want to strangle you. Shut up and go with the presentation that we paid for. And that’s not here.
(Speaker 3)
There’s no upsells or anything. So that’s awesome. I hate that. It makes me angry. So glad that’s not happening. So the cost.
(Speaker 3)
of this conference is quite a bit cheaper than business college. I went to a small private liberal arts college and got a degree in business. And I didn’t learn anything like they’re teaching here. I didn’t learn linear workflows. I learned stuff that I’m not using and I haven’t been using for the last nine years. So what they’re teaching here is actually way better than what I got at business school.
(Speaker 3)
And I went what was actually ranked as a very good business school. I would definitely recommend that people would check out the Thrive 15 conference. The information that you’re going to get is just very, very beneficial. And the mindset that you’re going to get, that you’re going to leave with, is just absolutely worth the price of a little bit of money and a few days worth of your time. I’m Rachel with Tip Top Keynight, and we just want to give a huge thank you to Clay and Vanessa Clark. Hey guys, I’m Ryan with Tip Top K9.
(Speaker 3)
Just want to say a big thank you to Thrive15. Thank you to Make Your Life Epic. We love you guys, we appreciate you, and really just appreciate how far you’ve taken us. So this is my old van and our old school marketing and this is our old team and by team I mean it’s been another guy This is our new van with our new marketing, and this is our new team. We went from four to 14, and I took this beautiful photo. We worked with several different business coaches in the past, and they were all about helping Ryan sell better and just teaching sales, which is awesome, but Ryan is a really great salesman, so we didn’t need that.
(Speaker 3)
We needed somebody to help us get everything that was in his head out into systems, into manuals and scripts, and actually build a team. So now that we have systems in place, we’ve gone from one to 10 locations in only a year. In October 2016, we grossed 13 grand for the whole month. Right now it’s 2018, the month of October. It’s only the 22nd, we’ve already grossed a little over 50 grand for the whole month, and we still have time to go. We’re just thankful for you, thankful for Thrive and your mentorship, and we’re really thankful that you guys have helped us to grow a business that we run now instead of the business running us.
(Speaker 3)
Just thank you, thank you, thank you, times a thousand.
(Speaker 6)
So we really just want to thank you, Clay, and thank you, Vanessa, for everything you’ve done, everything you’ve helped us with. We love you guys. Hello, my name is Charles Kolaw with Kolaw Fitness. Today I want to tell you a little bit about Clay Clark and how I know Clay Clark. Clay Clark has been my business coach since 2017. He’s helped us grow from two locations to now six locations.
(Speaker 6)
We’re planning to do seven locations in seven years and then franchise. And Clay has done a great job of helping us navigate anything that has to do with like running the business, building the systems, the checklists, the workflows, the audits, how to navigate lease agreements, how to buy property, how to work with brokers and builders. This guy is just amazing. This kind of guy has worked in every single industry. He’s written books with like Lee Crockrell, head of Disney with the 40 ,000 cast members.
(Speaker 6)
He’s friends with like Mike Lindell. He does reawaken America tours where he does these tours all across the country where 10 ,000 or more people show up to some of these tours on the day -to -day. He does anywhere from about 160 companies. He’s at the top. He has a team of business coaches, videographers, and graphic designers and web developers, and they run 160 companies every single week. So think of this guy with a team of business coaches running 160 companies.
(Speaker 6)
So in the weekly, he’s running 160 companies. Every six to eight weeks, he’s doing Reawaken America tours. Every six to eight weeks, he’s also doing business conferences where 200 people show up and he teaches people a 13 -step proven system that he’s done and worked with billionaires helping them grow their companies. So I’ve seen guys from startups go from startup to being multi -millionaires teaching people how to get time freedom and financial freedom through this system.
(Speaker 8)
critical thinking, document creation, making it, putting it into, organizing everything in their head to building it into a franchisable, scalable business. Like one of his businesses has like 500 franchises. That’s just one of the companies or brands that he works with. So amazing guy, Elon Musk, kind of like smart guy. He kind of comes off sometimes as socially awkward, but he’s so brilliant and he’s taught me so much. When I say that, like Clay is like, he doesn’t care what people think when you’re talking to him.
(Speaker 8)
He cares about, where you’re going in your life and where he can get you to go. And that’s what I like him most about him. He’s like a good coach. A coach isn’t just making you feel good all the time. A coach is actually helping you get to the best you and Clay has been an amazing business coach.
(Speaker 8)
Through the course of that we became friends. I was really most impressed with him is when I was shadowing him one time. We went into a business deal and listened to it. I got to shadow and listen to it. And when we walked out, I knew that he could make millions on the deal. And they were super excited about working with him.
(Speaker 8)
And he told me, he’s like, I’m not going to touch it. I’m going to turn it down because he knew it was going to harm the common good of people in the long run. And the guy’s integrity just really wowed me. It brought tears to my eyes to see that this guy, he doesn’t, his highest desire was to do what’s right. And anyways, just, just, just an amazing man. So anyways, impacted me a lot.
He’s helped navigate anytime I’ve gotten nervous or worried about how to run the company or you know, navigating competition and, and, and, and an economy that’s like, I remember we got closed down for three months. He helped us navigate on how to stay open, how to, how to get back open, how to just survive through all the COVID shutdowns, lockdowns. Cause our clubs were all closed for three months and you have 350 ,000 He helped us navigate that. And of course, we were conservative enough that we could afford to take that on for a period of time. But he was a great man. I’m very impressed with him. So, Clay, thank you for everything you’re doing.
And I encourage you, if you haven’t ever worked with Clay, work with Clay. He’s going to help magnify you. And there’s nobody I have ever met that has the ability to work as hard as he does. He probably sleeps four, maybe six hours a day and literally works his ass off. the rest of the time he’s working and he can outwork everybody in the room every single day. And he loves it.
So anyways, this is Charles Kola with Kola Fitness. Thank you, Clay. And anybody out there that’s wanting to work with Clay, it’s a great, great opportunity to ever work with him. So you guys have a blessed one. This is Charles Kola. We’ll see you guys.
Bye -bye. Hi, I’m Aaron Antis with Shaw Homes. I first heard about Clay through a mortgage lender here in town who had told me what a great job he had been doing for them. And I actually noticed he was driving a Lamborghini all of a sudden. So I was willing to listen. In my career, I’ve sold a little over $800 million in real estate.
So honestly I thought I kind of knew everything about marketing and homes and then I met Clay and my perception of what I knew and what I could do definitely changed. Doing $800 million in sales over a 15 -year career, I really thought I knew what I was doing. I’ve been managing a large team of salespeople for the last 10 years here with Shaw Homes. And I mean, we’ve been a company that’s been in business for 35 years. become one of the largest builders in the Tulsa area and that was without clay. So when I came to know clay I really thought man there’s not much more I need to know but I’m willing to listen.
The interesting thing is our internet leads from our website has actually in a four month period of time has gone from somewhere around 10 to 15 leads in a month to 180 internet leads in a month. Just from the few things that he’s shown us how to implement that I honestly probably never would have come up with on my own. So I got a lot of good things to say about the system that Clay put in place with us. And it’s just been an incredible experience. I am very glad that we met and had the opportunity to work with Clay. So the interaction with the team and with Clay on a weekly basis is great.
honestly very enlightening. One of the things that I love about Clay’s perspective on things is that he doesn’t come from my industry. He’s not somebody who’s in the home building industry. I’ve listened to all the experts in my field. Our company has paid for me to go to seminars, international builder shows, all kinds of places where I’ve had the opportunity to learn from the experts in my industry. But the thing that I found working with Clay is that he comes from such a broad spectrum of working with so many different types of businesses that he has a perspective that’s difficult for me to gain because I get so entrenched in what I do, I’m not paying attention to what other leading industry experts are doing.
And Clay really brings that perspective for me. It is very valuable time every week when I get that hour with him. From my perspective, the reason that any business owner who’s thinking about hooking up with Thrive needs to definitely consider it is because The results that we’ve gotten in a very short period of time are honestly monumental. It has really exceeded my wildest expectation of what he might be able to do. I came in skeptical because I’m very pragmatic, and as I’ve gone through the process over just a few months, I’ve realized it’s probably one of the best moves we’ve ever made. I think a lot of people probably feel like they don’t need a business or marketing consultant because they maybe are a little bit prideful and like to think they know everything.
I know that’s how I felt coming in. I mean, we’re a big company that’s definitely one of the largest in town. And so we kind of felt like we knew what we were doing. And I think for a lot of people, they let their ego get in the way. of listening to somebody that might have a better or different perspective than theirs. I would just really encourage you, if you’re thinking about working with Clay, I mean, the thing is, it’s month to month.
Go give it a try and see what happens. I think in the 35 -year history of Shaw Homes, this is probably the best thing that’s happened to us. And I know if you give them a shot, I think you’ll feel the same way. I know for me the thing I would have missed out on if I didn’t work with clay is I would have missed out on literally an 1800 % increase in our Internet leads going from 10 a month to 180 a month. That would have been a huge financial decision to just decide not to give it a shot. I would absolutely recommend Clay Clark to anybody who’s thinking about working with somebody in marketing.
I would skip over anybody else you were thinking about and I would go straight to Clay and his team. I guarantee you’re not going to regret it because we sure haven’t. My name is Danielle Sprick, and I am the founder of D. Sprick Realty Group here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After being a stay -at -home mom for 12 years and my three kids started school and they were in school full -time, I was at a crossroads and trying to decide, what do I want to do? My degree and my background is in education, but after being a mom and staying home and all of that, I just didn’t have a passion for it like I once did. My husband suggested real estate.
He’s a home builder, so real estate and home building go hand in hand, and we just rolled with it. I love people. I love working with people. I love the building relationships. But one thing that was really difficult for me was the business side of things, the processes and the advertising and marketing. I knew that I did not have what I needed to make that what it should be.
So I reached out to Clay at that time. And he and his team have been extremely instrumental in helping us build our brand, help market our business, our agents, the homes that we represent. Everything that we do is a direct line from Clay and his team and all that they’ve done for us. We launched our brokerage our real estate brokerage eight months ago. And in that time we’ve gone from myself and one other agent to just this week we signed on our 16th agent. We have been blessed with the fact that we right now have just over 10 million in pending transactions.
Three years ago, I never would have even imagined that I would be in this role that I’m in today, building a business, having 16 agents. But I have to give credit where credit’s due. And Clay and his team and the business coaching that they’ve offered us has been huge. It’s been instrumental in what we’re doing. Don’t ever limit your vision. When you dream big, big things happen.
I started a business because I couldn’t work for anyone else. I do things my way. I do what I think is in the best interest of the patient. I don’t answer to insurance companies. I don’t answer to large corporate organizations. I answer to my patient and that’s it.
My thought when I opened my clinic was I can do this all myself. I don’t need additional outside help in many ways. I mean, I went to medical school. I can figure this out. But it was a very, very steep learning curve. Within the first six months of opening my clinic, I had a $63 ,000 embezzlement.
I lost multiple employees. Clay helped us weather the storm of some of the things that are just a lot of people experience, especially in the medical world. He was instrumental in helping with the specific written business plan. He’s been instrumental in hiring good quality employees, using the processes that he outlines for getting in good talent, which is extremely difficult. He helped me in securing the business loans. He helped me with web development and search engine optimization.
We’ve been able to really keep a steady stream of clients coming in because they found us on the web. With everything that I encountered, everything that I experienced, I quickly learned it is worth every penny to have someone in your team that can walk you through and even avoid some of the pitfalls that are almost invariable in starting your own business. I’m Dr. Chad Edwards and I own Revolution Health and Wellness Clinic.
