I can’t tell you the amount of traffic we’ve had go to our website now. It’s increased a hundredfold compared to where it was just a few years ago. As a business owner, having peace of mind that you can make payroll and peace of mind that you can actually pay your staff and then live a life and stay married is actually pretty valuable to us. And so the thing that this has really done for me as well is This is not just for healthcare and getting organized when it comes to that. What you teach is good for every business. When I go to your conferences, I speak to other people who are running their companies, and it’s every company across the board.
(Speaker 2)
And so the concept is the same across the board. And once you have the sustainable leads coming in and you’ve got the systems, you can pretty much just put this into any business. It’s got me dreaming again. In the Bible it talks about old men dreaming dreams. I’m an older guy, I’m dreaming dreams. I could run and start another business anytime if I wanted to because of what you’ve taught me.
(Speaker 2)
It’s quite freeing. Number one is I now know my numbers like I’ve never known them before. So I love data. I love tracking sheets. I check in with my coach every week and get some insight. And so I’ve been able to get ahead of the game.
(Speaker 2)
So I’m very proactive with my business now versus reactive. We’ve got things like group interviews where I’m constantly hiring people. I ended up hiring people I didn’t know I needed, but they’re serving the greater population, my patient population. And so I’ve got more of a proactive business versus reactive. I’ve got a game plan, I’ve got strategies, and I’m working it. It was really nice just to get an idea and a framework of what to do.
(Speaker 2)
I’m a hard worker, so if I know what to do, I’ll do it. And getting that actual framework laid out for me and showing where I was kind of, I was just off. There are certain things where my heart gets in the way, and I was allowing things in my business that I just shouldn’t have been. And once I cleaned that up, everything started operating and working better. Well, I’ll tell you this, because in health care, there’s a lot of us that are considered intelligent.
(Speaker 2)
We’re very smart. But the reality is you just hit the nail on the head. I can’t tell you how many times we do stuff like that when it comes to marketing, when it comes to the on the back of the bus type of thing. So running our ideas through you guys and your team has been very valuable because you zone us in, you reel us in, if you will, because we get creative sometimes and we have these great ideas. And I love the fact that you guys just say no, no, love you, Troy. But that’s stupid.
(Speaker 2)
Don’t do that.
(Speaker 1)
There’s a lot of a lot of jackass for the world of marketing.
(Speaker 2)
Uh, that was, uh, extremely important. That was actually one of the biggest shifts in year one and working with you because when I started, I had a good reputation for helping people. We have people from all over the country and from different countries that fly in, but the business was about me. And for me to actually make it more impactful, I had to teach and leverage my other practitioners. So now I’m, Instead of 100 % the business being about me, it’s 20 % about me. So I have shifted into being able to work on my business.
(Speaker 2)
And I love what I do. I was made to do this. I work six days a week on my business with vacations, everything like that. But now my crew is working well to help people. And it’s all calendared out. We define all of it.
(Speaker 2)
My biggest thing was my biggest excuse was, I don’t have time to do all this stuff because I was wearing three or four hats as a business owner. And I now have a full team of or 80 % of a players. And I’ve just taken those hats off. And now I’m am at the point where I’m starting to look around and say, okay, what can I do? I need, like, I’m going to work and tweak on stuff to make the systems better.
(Speaker 2)
So the people out there exist. And then when you get the A players, they’re going to pour into your business more than take away from your business. So they exist. You just got to create the systems to have them basically come into your inner circle. Just do it. In the grand scheme of things, when it comes to running a business, there’s so much value with what you pay and then what you get in return.
(Speaker 2)
I mean, there’s no way in history I could ever afford to to hear Eric Trump, Robert Kiyosaki, Clay Clark, get this information to me and pay for it. And so we get it at such a value. It really is quite remarkable. So people, if you’re on the fence, it’s very, very low risk, high, high reward to learn the concept. And if you’re willing to put the work in, this is proven success strategies. This is not like just made up.
(Speaker 2)
This is long term proven success strategies. I can’t encourage people enough. And I believe that we I personally on my heart. I’m a Christian. So I believe that good people. good Christians can become entrepreneurs, and we need more and more and more of them pouring into the local community.
(Speaker 2)
So we want spiritoners, people with that spirit of Christ who are pouring into the local communities. And I just, I feel like you guys have the vessel and the way to bring it to them. So I encourage you, get off that fence. A tremendous impact and the biggest word is freedom. So freedom, hope, and just a sense of pride in a good way that I am now running a business that is worthy of pouring into the community, but also worthy of being called a business owner. So I’m very, very proud of what I’ve accomplished.
(Speaker 1)
Thrive Nation, on today’s show, I want to introduce you to a longtime client that’s having a lot of success. And I want him to be able to encourage you that it is totally possible to get your business unstuck and to help more people by providing more solutions and more products to your ideal and likely buyer. Let me try that again. We have a guest today who’s been a longtime client who operates in the medical space. His company is called OfficialSynapse . com.
(Speaker 1)
So he’s a doctor. He operates in the medical space. He helps people become healthier. He helps people improve their health. He does the things that doctors do. And by growing his practice, by growing his business, he’s been able to simply help more people.
(Speaker 1)
And he’s been able to help himself. And here to talk about it is Troy Sperl with OfficialSignApps .
(Speaker 2)
com.
(Speaker 13)
Troy, welcome to The Thrive Time Show.
(Speaker 1)
How are you, sir? Doing well. Thanks for having me, Clay.
(Speaker 2)
So you’re a doctor. When did you become a doctor, sir?
(Speaker 1)
I started back in 1997.
(Speaker 2)
So I’ve been doing this a while. Why did you decide to become a doctor? Well, I wanted to help people. I wanted to get into health care. The body was always important to me as far as just being healthy. And so I thought it was good.
(Speaker 2)
I was waffling between business and health care and ended up running my own business. But in medical school, in health care, they don’t teach you how to run a business.
(Speaker 1)
They really don’t. So I started with health care, but I had a passion about running businesses as well.
(Speaker 2)
How did you initially run into our team here at the Thrive Time Show? How did you run into myself and our team? Well, it’s kind of an interesting story. I actually got a little bit turned upside down when Trump became president. I didn’t know how that was. And the short version of the story is I saw a Kim Clement video, and then
(Speaker 2)
saw you on there, you’re mentioned in it. And then there was a connection I ended up having with my mother -in -law, they’re pastors and they worked with Kim Clement back in the early 80s. So there was a connection there, so I couldn’t let that go.
(Speaker 1)
And then I can’t even remember how it happened, but during COVID, I came out against the vaccine and stuff, and then we just kind of got placed together. And I loved what you stood for from that aspect as far as just the time we’re in, but then just how you’re running and managing businesses and your heart for small businesses in particular, where it was exactly what I was looking for. Now, I want to encourage somebody out there to somebody out there who has a business that’s been stuck for years. They’re not generating new leads. They’re unable to find good employees. They’re unable to find good customers.
(Speaker 2)
And they’re just stuck with a stagnant business. Could you share with the listeners what kind of successes you’ve had over the last couple of years as we’ve had the opportunity to work with you in your practice? Well, number one is I now know my numbers like I’ve never known them before. So I love data. I love tracking sheets. I check in with my coach every week and get some insight.
(Speaker 2)
And so I’ve been able to get ahead of the game. So I’m very proactive with my business now versus reactive. We’ve got things like group interviews where I’m constantly hiring people. I end up hiring people I didn’t know I needed, but they’re serving the greater population of my patient population. And so I’ve got more of a proactive business versus reactive. I’ve got a game plan, I’ve got strategies, and I’m working it.
(Speaker 2)
It was really nice just to get an idea and a framework of what to do. I’m a hard worker, so if I know what to do, I’ll do it. And getting that actual framework laid out for me and showing where I was going. kind of, I was just off.
(Speaker 1)
There are certain things where my heart gets in the way and I was allowing things in my business that I just shouldn’t have been. And once I cleaned that up, everything started operating and working better. So we’re going to go through all 13, 14 aspects of growing a successful company. I really want to get your thoughts on each one of these. So we’ll go rapid fire, but I really want to hear from your heart and how this has helped you and your organization, officialsignapps .
(Speaker 2)
com. So one is establishing your revenue goals. I’m not asking you to share what those goals are, but how much has that helped you knowing clearly what your revenue goals actually are? Well, great, because I know every day and every week if I’m ahead or behind in those revenue goals.
(Speaker 1)
So far this year, I’m 23 .7 % higher than last year on my revenue, and we’re hitting our goals. For the first time, we’re hitting our goals. And because I have a budget and everything’s all balanced out, it’s very comforting to know what I need to do and then just go do it. Box number two, and again, for anybody out there, whether you’re a doctor, you’re a dentist, you’re a lawyer, Eric Trump and I were teaming up together to host these business conferences all across the country, and I’ve been doing business conferences for 20 years, and I’ve brought up Troy to share his heart and how he’s implemented the systems, and I’ll continue to do so, and I encourage you to look up his website. Again, if you’re looking for a doctor for your family, it’s officialsynapse .
(Speaker 2)
com. Box number two, determine your break -even numbers. Almost nobody I’ve ever met in business ever knows their breakeven numbers. How important is it for you to know your breakeven numbers? Well, it’s very important. The funny thing is in health care, we have to know our numbers for the lab work, but we don’t apply that in the business world.
(Speaker 2)
So it’s very, very important. And I can tell when we don’t hit our breakeven numbers.
(Speaker 1)
And then we just have to ask the question, why? And so it allows us to tweak and constantly be course correct. to see where we’re actually doing well and allowing us to hit our break -even numbers and when we’re not. So it’s important to know that. Box number three, and again, folks, this is what’s called a linear workflow. We’re just working through the workflow.
(Speaker 1)
Someone says, where can I get that document? You just go to Thrivetimeshow . com forward slash free dash resources. Thrivetimeshow . com forward slash free dash resources. And once you go there, you can download this from my book, How to Become a Millionaire, page number five, How to Become Sustainably Rich.
(Speaker 1)
It’s a powerful book, How to Become Sustainably Rich.
(Speaker 2)
You can get it, page five. Here we go. Box number three, defining how many hours per week you’re willing to work. I know that’s a big thing for you because you are now able to work on your business and not in your business. How important has it been for you to be able to sit down and really block out a schedule that makes sense for you? That was extremely important.
(Speaker 2)
That was actually one of the biggest shifts in year one and working with you because When I started, I had a good reputation for helping people. We have people from all over the country and from different countries that fly in. But the business was about me. And for me to actually make it more impactful, I had to teach and leverage my other practitioners. So now I’m Instead of 100 % the business being about me, it’s 20 % about me. So I have shifted into being able to work on my business.
(Speaker 1)
And I love what I do. I was made to do this. I work six days a week on my business with vacations, everything like that. But now my crew is working well to help people and it’s all calendared out. We define all of it. Folks, this is powerful stuff.
(Speaker 1)
By default, nobody has these systems in place. I’m telling you, folks. Box number four, your unique value proposition. This might be the part where you might say, well, wow, Clay, this is like an official Synapse commercial. Well, I really strongly believe in what you do. But this is where you
(Speaker 29)
are telling the world this is what you do differently from other medical practices.
(Speaker 1)
Or if you’re a dentist, from other dentists, from HomeBuilder, what do you do differently than other HomeBuilders? If you’re a pest control company, what do you do differently than other pest control companies? It’s your unique value.
(Speaker 2)
proposition. It might be called your purple cow if you read the Seth Godin marketing books. It’s what do you do that separates you and makes you stand out in the clutter of commerce. So I’ll ask you the question, what makes you unique there at OfficialSignApps . com? Well, we have developed and pioneered processes.
(Speaker 2)
We are actually the only clinic in North America that do what we do. So we have combined functional medicine with innovative techniques and technologies. Some of our technologies come from Prague, and we’ve done a lot of work bringing them together. So in a natural way, we can slow down the aging process, prevent different diseases and disorders. And with that, we have some leverage when it comes to the rest of the health care world when it comes to being proactive with your health.
(Speaker 1)
So we’ve got a lot of innovations and a lot of tools and strategies. We meet each and every day as a team and discuss the patients that are coming in. And so our process is very unique in the health care world. And because of that, we get a lot of successes where other people and other clinics have failures. Folks, I’m telling you, you can do it. There’s somebody out there watching right now, and you’re going, I don’t know if I can do all this.
(Speaker 1)
That’s what a coach does. That’s what we do as a coaching system. And it doesn’t mean that you’re a mental midget or you have some deficiencies if you need a coach. Professional athletes, they all have a coach. Amateurs do not. I hire a professional attorney that helps me.
(Speaker 1)
Why? Well, right now, I’m working on a big, big deal for a big, big thing. And some of you can guess what it is. And I’m working with an attorney right now to hammer out that contract so there’s no hiccups in the contract, no gotcha clauses, that kind of thing. Box number five, improve the branding.
(Speaker 2)
You just have to have a first class way. Website you have to have everything that the potential buyer sees and touches has to be great. Business cards, one sheets, print pieces, digital documents. Talk to the listeners out there about the importance of having all of your branding materials first class. Well, first of all, people really don’t know who you are and what you do unless you’ve got some level of branding and some level of information out there.
(Speaker 2)
Our website, our videos, our content, everything is meant to actually show people who we are so you can look and see this is a good fit. I can’t tell you the amount of traffic we’ve had go to our website now. It’s increased a hundredfold compared to where it was just a few years ago.
(Speaker 1)
And so people now know more about they’re coming into us telling me about about things that I said three, four years ago, because they saw a video. And so part of that branding is just letting people know who you are. And I believe that there are people, there’s a good fit for people. And so the people who really need us and that we can help will find us, but they need to have access to what we look like and what we’re about. And that’s what the branding is about. And again, folks, as a client, we do all that for you.
(Speaker 1)
So if we charge you $1 ,700 a month, everything that you need, photography, video, web, search engine, online ads, we do all that for you. Box number six, so many entrepreneurs don’t have a way to sustainably generate business. They don’t have a plan.
(Speaker 22)
So they’re doing a yellow page ad.
(Speaker 1)
You say, really? They’re doing a mailer. Really? They’re doing a billboard. Really? They’re doing an auto wrap.
(Speaker 1)
Are you kidding me? These people are doing magazine ads. I know of entrepreneurs that are literally buying auto wraps on bus benches. I met an entrepreneur at the last conference who was telling me, not kidding, he was investing over $4 ,000 a month auto wrapping, putting his company’s logo on the back of city buses and on bus station benches. ” And he said, I’m not getting the right kinds of deals. And I said, I want you to think about what you just said for a second.
(Speaker 2)
You’re somebody who offers a high -end cosmetic surgery solution and you’re advertising on city buses. Let me ask you, how many super wealthy people do you know with disposable income that are riding city buses and sitting on city park benches? And he’s going, That’s a great point. And so again, I think entrepreneurs, we get approached by so many people trying to sell us something, and we have such a need to reach people. We want to generate leads. And so entrepreneurs get sucked into click funnels, and all sorts of AI -generated ads, and all sorts of marketing scams and scam hockery.
(Speaker 2)
Can you talk about the mind freedom and maybe the financial freedom it’s given you to have a three -legged marketing stool that works for you?
(Speaker 1)
Well, I’ll tell you this, because in health care, there’s a lot of us that are considered intelligent.
(Speaker 1)
But that’s stupid. Don’t do that. There’s a lot of a lot of jackass for the world of marketing. Could you talk for a second just for the listeners out there? Because there’s a lot of our listeners out there watching today’s show. They don’t have leads.
(Speaker 1)
And on part two of today’s show, I’m going to totally shift gears.
(Speaker 2)
You’re in Minnesota and you’re a doctor on part two of today’s show. I’m going to interview a pest control company in San Diego. And so I’m interviewing a pest control business in San Diego with 300 competitors. in his market. And on part one, we’re interviewing a doctor in Minnesota. What do you say to somebody out there that doesn’t have a sustainable way of generating leads?
(Speaker 2)
What kind of impact has it made for you to have a system in place where you sustainably have new customers coming in? Well, that’s everything because that’s peace of mind. As a business owner, having peace of mind that you can make payroll and peace of mind that you can actually pay your staff and live a life and stay married is actually pretty valuable to us. The thing that this has really done for me as well is This is not just for healthcare and getting organized when it comes to that. What you teach is good for every business.
(Speaker 1)
When I go to your conferences, I speak to other people who are running their companies, and it’s every company across the board.
(Speaker 2)
And so the concept is the same across the board.
(Speaker 1)
And once you have the sustainable leads coming in and you’ve got the systems, you can pretty much just put this into any business. It’s got me dreaming again. In the Bible, it talks about old men dreaming dreams. I’m an older guy. I’m dreaming dreams. I could run and start another business anytime if I wanted to because of what you’ve taught me.
(Speaker 1)
It’s quite freeing. I just want to encourage somebody out there. Somebody out there, you’re watching today’s show and you feel discouraged. I promise you can do it. Box number seven, sales systems. You have to have call scripts and recorded calls and one sheets.
(Speaker 1)
Box number eight, you have to have a sustainable number of what it costs you to get a new customer. You have to determine the sustainable customer acquisition costs. You have to know what does it cost you to get a new customer. Box number eight. Box number nine, you’ve got to create repeatable systems, folks. I’m talking about checklists, written down documents, onboarding documents for new employees, onboarding documents for new customers.
(Speaker 1)
I’m talking about repeatable checklists and processes. You have to have documentation. You have to have a universal file nomenclature. How do you name files? You have to have an organizational system.
(Speaker 1)
To build an organization this just in, you have to be organized. Box number 10, you have to learn how to manage people. You have to manage people. What? You have to manage people. You can’t just hire people.
(Speaker 1)
You have to manage people. You have to hold people accountable. You have to learn how to hire, inspire, train, and retain great people. I repeat that again. You have to learn how to hire, how to inspire, train, how to retain great people. Box number 11, you have to have a weekly schedule that makes sense, kind of a cadence or a flow or a rhythm.
(Speaker 1)
You have to have some kind of rhythm. When is your weekly staff meeting? When are you interviewing new candidates? When are you looking at your numbers? What gets scheduled gets done. Box number 11, what gets scheduled gets done.
(Speaker 1)
Box number 12, it requires teamwork to make the dream work. You have to have A players. You can’t be surrounded by naysayers. Let me try that again. It takes teamwork to make the dream work. You have to be surrounded by A players and not naysayers.
(Speaker 1)
So many people you’re watching this show right now, you’re being held hostage by your very own staff. You have people on your team that are simply not willing to do that which works. Box number 13, it’s not about how much money you make, it’s about how much money you keep. You have to know your accounting. It’s not about how much money you make, it’s about how much money you keep. You have to know your accounting.
(Speaker 1)
And box 14, the final box, the most important box, is the whole purpose of a business is to help you You achieve goals in your life that you believe God has called you to achieve. So God has a big plan for your life. I don’t claim to know what it is, but you want to have success in the areas of your faith, your finances. What? Think about it. The big seven F’s.
(Speaker 1)
Faith, family, finances, fitness.
(Speaker 2)
Friendship, fun, and I call the final one, it’s focused attention. Where do you have the time to spend your focused attention? What are your goals for your faith, your family, your finance, your fitness, your friendship, your fun, your focused attention? And if you have a successful company, you will have time to… these areas of your life, your faith, your family, your finances, your fitness, your friendship, your fun, and your focused attention. Dr. Spurl, I want to get your thoughts on here with the final five minutes we have you.
(Speaker 2)
We went through a lot there for the sake of time, but there’s somebody out there, and they’re saying, Clay, I can’t find good people. can’t find good customers and I can’t find good people. What do you say to the entrepreneur watching this who can’t find good people that doesn’t know these systems yet? I would tell them to contact you because the people exist. You do have to do your due diligence and you can set up systems. For example, we have learn from you a hiring strategy.
(Speaker 2)
And we are looking at all the time when we’re not really needing people, we’re looking at who’s out there. And we will go through 50 to 60 people in a month and find one person that’s of value. And so it’s such a good thing when you can find the gems that are out there. And when you create a culture of people around you that are actually pouring into your business and they’re A players, as you call them, They exist, but you’ve kind of got to get through all the other… B and C players before you can find that A. So they exist. There is a very time efficient way of doing it.
(Speaker 1)
My biggest thing was my biggest excuse was I don’t have time to do all this stuff because I was wearing three or four hats as a business owner. And I now have a full team of 80 percent of A players and I’ve just taken those hats off. And now I am at the point where I’m starting to look around and say, OK, what can I do? I need like I’m going to work and tweak on stuff to make this systems better. So the people out there exist. And then when you get the A players, they’re going to pour into your business more than, than take away from your business.
(Speaker 1)
So they exist. You just got to create the systems to have them basically come into your inner circle. Folks, I’m telling you, if you’re watching today’s show and you don’t hate yourself, if you want to start or grow a successful company, that’s why we do these interactive two -day interactive business conferences. Now, Eric Trump has joined the conferences. We’ve been doing them for 20 years, 19 years before Eric Trump teamed up with us.
(Speaker 1)
And now Eric is joining us on these events. He’s doing a phenomenal job talking about time management, sales, marketing, branding, his approach to hiring people, managing people, so much there. You can learn quality control from Eric Trump.
(Speaker 2)
But I encourage everybody, go Go to thrivetimeshow . com. Learn more about our upcoming conferences. We’re going to be in Anaheim, California, December 4th and 5th. Also, you can click on the testimonials button where we have over 2 ,000 documented client success stories over a period of 20 years. Dr. Sproul, for anybody out there that’s kind of on the fence right now, thinking about coming to our workshop, I always tell people our tickets are $250 or whatever price you want to pay.
(Speaker 2)
We also have VIP tickets for $500. And then we have the month -to -month business consulting, that’s $1 ,700 a month, and it’s month to month, no contract. What do you say to somebody out there that’s thinking about coming to a conference or thinking about scheduling a free 13 -point assessment? Just do it. In the grand scheme of things, when it comes to running a business, there’s so much value with what you pay and then what you get in return. I mean, there’s no way in history I could ever afford to to hear Eric Trump, Robert Kiyosaki, Clay Clark, get this information to me and pay for it.
(Speaker 2)
And so we get it at such a value.
(Speaker 1)
It really is quite remarkable. So people, if you’re on the fence, it’s very, very low risk, high, high reward to learn the concept. And if you’re willing to put the work in. This is proven success strategies, this is not like just made up this is long term proven success strategies. I can’t encourage people enough.
(Speaker 28)
And I believe that we, I personally on my heart, I’m a Christian, so I believe that good people good Christians can become entrepreneurs, and we need more and more and more of them pouring into the local community.
(Speaker 1)
So we want spiritoners, people with that spirit of Christ who are pouring into the local communities. And I just, I feel like you guys have the vessel and the way to bring it to them. So I encourage you, get off that fence. Now, for everybody out there that wants to know, again, OfficialSignApps, that’s the website. I have many of my friends and family, true story, that have gone to OfficialSignApps . com and have found the medical solutions that they’re looking for.
(Speaker 1)
That’s OfficialSignApps .
(Speaker 2)
com, OfficialSignApps .
(Speaker 1)
com. Doctor, one final question for you. A lot of times after these conferences, you might meet somebody who you saw at the conference and you’re kind of in the elevator with them. Like you run into them in the lobby at the hotel, like you just spent two days with them at the conference and now you run into them at the lobby or a local restaurant. And if someone were to say to you, 60 seconds, you’re in an elevator with them, what kind of impact has the month to month business coaching made on your business?
(Speaker 2)
What would you say? Tremendous impact, and the biggest word is freedom. So freedom, hope, and just a sense of pride in a good way that I am now running a business that is worthy of pouring into the community, but also worthy of being called a business owner. So I’m very, very proud of what I’ve accomplished through you guys and with you guys. Amen to that. Dr. Troy Sperl, thank you so much for your time.
(Speaker 2)
And for anybody out there that’s looking for a doctor, can you fire off the solutions that you guys provide there? What kind of solutions do you provide at officialsignapse . com? Or maybe a better question is, who’s the best ideal and likely buyer, ideal and likely customer?
(Speaker 1)
Who’s the best patient for you? Well, we’re looking really for anyone who is not feeling their best. They’re not feeling optimized. And so we help people be proactive with their health care.
(Speaker 2)
If there’s already some diet level of diagnosis, we’ll work with you. We’ve got innovation. So we’re going to teach you about what is going on with your body, what works for you. And right now, because of Dr. Google and other things, there’s so much information out there. We’re going to figure out what is actually relevant for you. And we have solutions for very, very complicated problems.
(Speaker 2)
Did you say Dr. Google?
(Speaker 1)
Is that something I just heard? I want to make sure we get that. What do you mean by Dr. Google for everybody out there that maybe isn’t familiar like you are? Well, people come in and I used to have to talk people into taking supplements 30 years ago.
(Speaker 3)
Now I have to talk people out of taking supplements because of Dr. Google. They say symptoms I have, and then they come back and they say, I think I’ve got this, this, this, and this disease based on what’s on the internet. So there’s so much information. We’ve gone from no information to too much information. So discernment is needed. So that’s Dr. Google.
(Speaker 3)
Hey, thank you so much, Dr. Troy Spurl there with OfficialSignApps . com. Thank you so much. We’ll talk to you next week. So we’ve almost doubled. We went from 50 leads to 85 leads on average a week that we’re seeing.
(Speaker 3)
But I’ll tell you what, mentioning the branding and the website, I like that you pulled up at the beginning, Clay, our first suncoastpestmanagement . com and then the ca . com because that was our first website and there was no traffic. Things weren’t happening. And we left that up while we transitioned over to the Thrive Time team and the website. And it’s been unbelievable the amount of traffic that we’re seeing in the between the two that we’re going live.
(Speaker 3)
So now we’re taking that website down this month and pointing that website to our new website. But what we’re finding is it’s a vism. I know if anyone doesn’t know what the vism is, it’s the video imaging. Images Search Engine Optimization, and then the more reviews. What we focus on is the video testimonies, the images, and the reviews. We let you guys take care of the search engine stuff.
(Speaker 3)
But seeing the difference in the website, we know it’s working. We know the pages and the content on the back end is working.
(Speaker 23)
You gotta take the step.
(Speaker 3)
You gotta step out there and experience it for yourself.
(Speaker 1)
That $1 ,700 is nothing. I mean, that’s a no -brainer deal, to be honest with you, Clay. I mean, the $1 ,700 that we pay from the coaching that I’ve got, the system implementation, Things that work from group interviewing and getting the right people on our team, you can’t put a price on it. You just really can’t. I know what we paid for our website before, we’re paying less now than what we were paying before. And we’re getting better results now.
(Speaker 3)
So it really is just a no brainer for anyone that’s really looking to grow their business. I’m telling you, call me, I’ll tell you. Give my number.
(Speaker 1)
You call me and I’ll tell you, you’re making the right decision. Okay, folks, on today’s edition of The Thrive Time Show, we’re interviewing a real person.
(Speaker 3)
I think so many people say, I want to become successful, but can I do it?
(Speaker 1)
I think that’s something that lingers in the minds of some people is, can I do it?
(Speaker 3)
So what I try to do on The Thrive Time Show is I try to bridge the gap from where you are to where you want to be and to show you that it’s 100 % possible, that it’s 100 % doable by introducing you to real clients that are really implementing the real systems that really work.
(Speaker 28)
And with that being said, Sean, welcome onto The Thrive Time Show.
(Speaker 1)
How are you, sir? Doing good. Thanks, Clay. Thanks for having me. Now, for anybody who might think that you’re a hologram or just a male model, tell us your first and last name. And what’s the name of your company?
(Speaker 1)
Sean McGough, and it’s Suncoast Pest Management.
(Speaker 2)
And for people who want to visit your website, where’s the best place people can go to find your website?
(Speaker 1)
It’s suncoastpestmanagementca . com. OK, so suncoastpestmanagement .
(Speaker 3)
com. Is that you right there, sir? It’s ca . com. So suncoastpestmanagementca . com.
(Speaker 3)
Sean, tell us about your company there. What exactly do you do at suncoastpestmanagementca . com? Yeah, we take care of all pest control from rodents to wildlife to termites to just general pests from ants to roaches. And we take care of commercial, residential, and we take care of San Diego, Riverside, and the Orange County area.
(Speaker 5)
Now, for anybody out there that is watching this show, people hear about this show from a variety of sources, some from their friends, some from family, some from Spotify.
(Speaker 3)
How did you originally come in contact with The Thrive Time Show? That’s a good question, Clay.
(Speaker 1)
You know, I was invited by a friend of mine. He had joined with you guys and has a drywall business. And he said, you got to come out here. And I was skeptical at first. And I said, you know, I’ll go, but I’m just going to tell you, I’m not doing anything. I’m not joining anything.
(Speaker 1)
I’ll go and check it out. He said, well, come on. Oh, now I knew within the first three hours, I was looking for you guys. I was like, I got to join this.
(Speaker 3)
I got to join this. I want to belong to this. The excitement, the energy was just next level. And I just really knew that this was something that would benefit our company. Now, the thing I try to do, and I think you’ve been a great fit for our organization. It’s really a win -win, but I always tell great people like you, I say, listen, we want to have a shalom relationship with you.
(Speaker 3)
We want to have a win -win. A lot of relationships start with a weird contract. Somebody gives you a con, and they lock you on a weird track. How would you describe the nature of our relationship?
(Speaker 1)
It is month to month. We do charge you $1 ,700 a month. But how would you describe, as a business owner, what it’s like entering into a relationship with a business coach platform when you know it’s month -to -month? Yeah, it’s been awesome because I meet with Sean Lohman. He’s my business coach and we look forward to it. It’s been exciting.
(Speaker 1)
He holds me accountable. It’s been fun. I know every week that he’s going to be wanting to better my business and helps me to better my business. And I just, again, just the excitement, the energy around it and the wanting to track the results, be on top of the numbers and to show the wins every week. I look forward to it. Let’s win.
(Speaker 1)
We got to win. Now, I’m going to pull up these steps that we teach. And for anybody out there who wants to follow along, you can go to Thrivetimeshow . com forward slash free resources. Let me point that out again, folks. That’s Thrivetimeshow .
(Speaker 1)
com forward slash free dash resources.
(Speaker 3)
So once you go to Thrivetimeshow . com forward slash free dash resources, you can click on the book here, How to Build a Successful Business. It’s the orange covered book, How to Build a Successful Business. You can download and read along. But if you haven’t downloaded the book yet, here we go. we’re getting into page five.
(Speaker 1)
To grow a successful company, Sean, so many people say, how do I grow a successful company? And I tell them, well, you have to implement all 13 of these steps. And a lot of people say, yeah, yeah, yeah, I just want to focus on accounting. Or I just want to focus on marketing. Or I just want to focus on sales. So I want to go through each box on today’s show, rapid fire, 13 boxes, 20 minutes, want to get your reaction to it.
(Speaker 1)
So box number one, how has knowing your revenue goals, how has knowing your revenue goals, again, step number one is establish your revenue goals, how has having a clarity about your revenue goals impacted your business? You know, that’s another good question, Clay. Even coming into the business and being in the management industry and restaurant for so long and being new to, I mean, a business owner, it’s been seven years, but really trying to be successful running it as a manager. not really knowing and tracking where my break -even number was and what our revenue goals, what we really need to hit every week. So that’s just been fun, exciting with the team because everyone in our team now, the culture’s changed. Everyone knows what our break -even number is.
(Speaker 1)
Everyone knows and is thriving to get those numbers each week so we can continue to grow the business. I just, again, folks, you talk about who’s a good fit. It’s anybody out there willing to put in the work.
(Speaker 3)
And Sean and his team do a great job. And I encourage everyone to check out their website. Box number two, you have to determine the breakeven numbers. That’s how much stuff do you have to sell Just to break even, as you mentioned, you have to know that number. Box number three, you have to define how many hours per week you’re willing to work. And I know business owners out there, Sean, that aren’t frankly willing to work more than 40 hours a week.
(Speaker 3)
I also know business owners out there that aren’t willing to work 30 hours a week. I also know business owners out there that aren’t willing to work 20 hours a week. And you do have to put forth a certain amount of effort. I recommend working six days, resting on the seventh. And some of you watching this show, maybe your day off is a Thursday, your day off is a Saturday, your day off is a Sunday. But I recommend in that people have to be really honest with themselves that they’re willing to put in the work.
(Speaker 3)
Could you talk about that, just the willingness you have to put in the work?
(Speaker 2)
Yeah, and you know, if it’s a willingness to put in the work, I was always put in the work.
(Speaker 1)
I would work six or seven days. The difference now is I’m working on the business and not in the business. You could I would work around the clock and be willing to work around the clock. The difference is now is that I’ve stepped back. I’m looking at the business from a different perspective than just in the day to day grind. So, yes, I’m working hours, but it’s it’s and I’ve always I’ve always been one to work.
(Speaker 1)
I love to work. I enjoy working.
(Speaker 3)
I’m still doing the same amount of hours. I’m still doing six day work weeks. I rest on the seventh, like you mentioned, but it’s just different now because we’re seeing results. So the excitement, the energy is just fun.
(Speaker 7)
It’s just a good time.
(Speaker 3)
Let’s talk about that for a second. What kind of results you seen? Again, most of the people we interview on this show, when I ask them how long they’ve worked with us, the clients will say, I’ve worked with you guys for 10 years, eight years, or seven years. You’re kind of newer to the program. You’re somewhat newer to the program.
(Speaker 3)
So approximately how long have you worked with our team? And just what kind of results have you seen so far? It’s been amazing. It’s been three months now. And I’ll tell you what, just things like my business coach reaching out to me for the weekend saying, hey, have you listened to your phone calls? Have you listened to your recordings?
(Speaker 3)
No, not really. I think it’d be a good idea. And we had this auto receptionist answering, if you like this, select this, press one. If you want a movie with your pest control, press two.
(Speaker 1)
I mean, really, I thought that was legit. I thought, hey, this is a way to show we’re bigger, even bigger than what we are. And so I thought I would get it into the right hands. But we were watching the calls. just rotate and rolling and rolling where it’s like, it’s like, go here and then go here. And then it got, the call center would take in and say, well, let me try to get ahold of this sales guy.
(Speaker 15)
Let me try.
(Speaker 1)
And it just was moving all over. We got rid of this auto receptionist deal and we got people answering the phones. We’re getting great feedback and our leads are converting. It’s just, I mean, I’m telling you, it’s simple stuff, but it’s things that I need to see for myself. And it’s just exciting to see those things actually unfold now. If I can hear the excitement in my voice, Clay, I’m just excited.
(Speaker 1)
This is a good time.
(Speaker 3)
You’re implementing everything, and I love it. Now, box number four, you have to figure out what makes you different. In this world, this clutter of commerce, there’s so many great businesses out there. Again, I’ll pull up your web address, suncoastpetmanagementca . com, suncoastpetmanagementca . com.
(Speaker 3)
What is it that really sets you apart in the San Diego market? For anybody out there that doesn’t know, San Diego is a gorgeous area. The cost of living can be punishingly high. There are many service providers out there. you are servicing really some of the nicest communities in San Diego. What is it that separates Suncoast Pet Management CA .
(Speaker 3)
com from the competition? Good question, Clay. Really, it’s we’re a one stop shop for everything.
(Speaker 1)
A lot of pest control companies will sell you on one thing, but they can’t do another thing. And so people and customers have to get multiple different companies to do different things. We do road improving. We do termite tanning. We do just a general pest day to day stuff. We do wildlife trapping and removal.
(Speaker 1)
So there’s that. And then we have we have a same day free inspection. We want people to see the Suncoast different. We want them to see our our staff and the culture that we’ve created and the quality of our work we stand by. So when we get out there, there’s nothing to lose. It’s a one, it’s a same day, free inspection.
(Speaker 1)
And then that first service we’re offering an 80 % off that first service. Now, folks, we move on here to the next box. Again, these are all the steps we need to implement here. There’s a lot of details that go into these steps, but I just want to give you a nice overview, folks, of the kind of impact you can truly have on your business if you’re willing to schedule a free consultation and implement the moves. Box number five, branding. You’ve got to nail down your branding, folks.
(Speaker 3)
On a scale of 1 to 10, you’ve got to be honest. If 10 is the best and 1 is the worst, how highly is the branding of your business? How high quality is the branding of your company? If 10 is like Tiffany, the Tiffany Jewelry Company, and 10 is Nike and then one is, I don’t know, maybe a disgruntled Kearney who’s pitching porta -potties at the State Fair. That’s on a scale of one to ten. Where do you fall into that?
(Speaker 3)
And if you feel like you need to optimize your website, your print pieces, your branding, I encourage you to take action in that regard. Box number six, you have to create a sustainable three -legged marketing stool. You have to create a turnkey way, Sean, to generate leads. And so many businesses, they’re excited, they’ve got great branding, but they have no leads. They’ve got a million followers on TikTok, but they have no leads. They’ve got a lot of people that follow them on Instagram, but they have no leads.
(Speaker 3)
Could you talk about the increase you’ve seen on the actual amount of leads that you’re now seeing of new customers, new lifeblood entering into your company? Yeah, so we’ve almost doubled. We went from 50 leads to 85 leads on average a week that we’re seeing. But I’ll tell you what, mentioning the branding and the website, I like that you pulled up at the beginning, Clay, our first suncoastpestmanagement .
(Speaker 1)
com and then the ca . com because that was our first website and there was no traffic. Things weren’t happening. And we left that up while we transitioned over to the Thrive Time team and the website. And it’s been unbelievable the amount of traffic that we’re seeing. and the difference between the two that we’re going live.
(Speaker 1)
So now we’re taking that website down this month and pointing that website to our new website. But what we’re finding is it’s a vism. I know if anyone doesn’t know what the vism is, it’s the video imaging. images, search engine optimization, and then the more reviews. What we focus on is the video testimonies, the images, and the reviews. We let you guys take care of the search engine stuff.
(Speaker 1)
But seeing the difference in the websites, we know it’s working. We know the pages and the content on the back end is working. There’s somebody out there.
(Speaker 3)
They’re watching this show. And this is how people think. I know how people think, because I’m an entrepreneur. And you know how people think, because you’re an entrepreneur. This is what someone’s saying. Someone’s saying, all right, come on.
(Speaker 3)
Let’s be real. You’re paying this guy, you’re paying Clay’s team, you’re paying the Thrive Time shift $1 ,700 a month, $1 ,700 per month, $1 ,700 per month. And we know it’s month to month, you claim, and we know that it’s less money than it would be to hire a minimum wage employee. But how could you describe the return on investment? Or how could you describe the value you’re getting? How would you say to Sean, anybody out there who says, how would you describe the value or the return on investment that you’re experiencing as a newer Thrive Time shift employee?
(Speaker 1)
coaching client. You gotta take the step. You gotta step out there and experience it for yourself. That’s $1 ,700, it’s nothing. I mean, that’s a no -brainer deal to be honest with you, Clay. I mean, the $1 ,700 that we pay from the coaching that I’ve got, the system implementation, things that work from group interviewing and getting the right people on our team, you can’t put a price on it.
(Speaker 1)
You just really can’t. I know what we paid for our website before, we’re paying less now than what we were paying before. And we’re getting better results now. So it really is just a no brainer for anyone that’s really looking to grow their business. I’m telling you, call me, I’ll tell you. Give me my number.
(Speaker 3)
You call me and I’ll tell you, you’re making the right decision. Now, you came to our workshop. And when you came to the workshop, it was so great to have you come to this most recent workshop. Eric Trump was there. We often have Tim Tebow at our conferences and Eric Trump. And you’re at the conference.
(Speaker 3)
And I just can’t tell you how encouraging your words were for the attendees. I ran into probably, let’s say, a half dozen people that came up to me personally and said, thank you for bringing up Mr. San Diego, Captain San Diego. People would say, thanks for bringing that bug guy up there. Thanks for bringing that pest control guy up there. guy. They’re like, he actually really encouraged me.
(Speaker 1)
How would you describe the in -person two -day interactive business workshops? They encouraged me the same. I had people tell me the same thing. I’d be in line getting a coffee and people say, hey, you really encouraged me. Does this stuff really work? I said, I’m telling you, give it a shot, do it.
(Speaker 1)
It worked. But just being around other successful people in businesses, you can’t put a price on that.
(Speaker 3)
Just being able to interact with these people. There’s good people there and there’s a lot of people that have done it and they’re successful.
(Speaker 27)
And to mingle with that, to touch shoulders with people like that, it’s, you just, again, you just can’t,
(Speaker 1)
you can’t describe it. It’s, it’s, there’s so much you get out of it. Somebody is starting to not believe what you’re saying. Cause it’s, it’s too good. Uh, what’s your first and last name? One more time.
(Speaker 1)
Someone’s going to look you up real quick. They’re gonna look up your website.
(Speaker 3)
This guy real one more time. What’s your first last name and what’s the name of your website? It’s Sean McGough. It’s SuncoastPestManagementCA . com. All right, again, folks, not a hologram, not a male model.
(Speaker 3)
He could be, but he’s not. So we continue. Box number seven, you’ve got to create a sales conversion system. The sales scripts you touched on earlier, call recording, one sheets, pre -written emails, lead trackers. Every time I’ve worked with a client, every single time I work with a client, and they install call scripts and call recording, the moment they put in call recording, call scripts, and tracking, a series of very uncomfortable epiphanies occurs when people recognize how much money is being repelled by dysfunctional phone answering services, dysfunctional phone answering people, poorly written scripts, not tracking. What kind of epiphanies did you have the moment you started installing call tracking, call scripts, recording?
(Speaker 3)
What kind of epiphanies did you discover? Oh, my goodness. It was sad. It was sad. As it is, I’m a person that I just don’t have very much patience. And a lot of us don’t.
(Speaker 3)
And as entrepreneurs, we want to get things done and move on. And there’s so, I mean, there’s 300 and some pest control companies in San Diego. It’s not hard to find somebody else. You don’t have time to be waiting two minutes to try to go through all this process of getting to someone and moving around. It was so bad. And I just won’t forget, Sean’s like, hey, have you listened to your calls yet?
(Speaker 3)
And my business coach, I said, no, I haven’t. Because Haibu, well, it was a web site that we had before. They had it where you could hear some calls, but they would come through a tracker.
(Speaker 1)
And so we didn’t hear all calls. Now we’re with Clarity Voice, so we hear all calls. But just he said, are you listening to me? And I said, no, I haven’t. He goes, it’s painful. And that’s the, that’s the honesty I love.
(Speaker 1)
I want to hear that. And so I, I took that night and listened to the calls and I said, Oh my goodness, why would anybody want to book with this? Um, so yeah, it was, it definitely was a wake up call to see and know. And now we’ve got scripts in place and we’ve coached and taught that we listened to the calls and we’re teaching the people I am. We’re, we’re only three months clay. I can’t wait.
(Speaker 1)
to tell you what it looks like in another three months and in a year. I just couldn’t be more excited for you and for the people out there that are meeting you at the conferences because you’re encouraging so many people. And it really is contagious. Success is contagious. So is poverty, by the way. If you’ve ever grown up poor, poverty is contagious.
(Speaker 3)
I encourage everybody out there to run from poverty, to fight poverty, to become an enemy of average. Box number eight, feeling great. Determine sustainable customer acquisition costs. You have to know how much money does it cost you. How much money does it cost you to acquire a new customer? As an example, if you’re paying my team $1 ,700 a month and you’re saying, You’ve almost doubled your amount of leads.
(Speaker 3)
You can track it and go, OK, this is how much I’m paying. This is what kind of lead flow I’m seeing. You need to know that number.
(Speaker 1)
You need to know how much does it cost you to acquire a new customer. Sean, Dr. Zellner has an entire podcast he’s recorded with me about this idea. And it’s so important to know how much money it costs you to acquire a new customer. Why is that empowering for you to know how much it costs you to gain one new customer? That goes back to the breaking even number. Us knowing that has really helped us even to look at our pricing and where we’re at with the rates and our guys and going out there.
(Speaker 1)
and managing that because we know that now. We know exactly on the dollar what we need to make and what it’s going to cost us, 38 cents per dollar. I can tell you, I didn’t know that before, but that’s what it takes us. It takes us $38 on 100. And so now we know what we need to do. That’s our conversion for our customers in order to make
(Speaker 1)
profit on that, on the hour, that’s what we need to make. Folks, this is real stuff.
(Speaker 3)
This is real stuff. This is the stuff behind the stuff. This is how you grow a successful company. Beyond the motivation, folks, this is the activation that’s required. Box them right. I mean, after you’re motivated, that’s great.
(Speaker 3)
After you’re caffeinated, that’s exciting. But what you have to do is you have to implement these systems. So box number nine, you’ve got to create repeatable systems and processes and checklists. So that way, you can scale your business. You’ve got to work on the business, not just in your business. Could you talk about how important it has been to begin to really take the time away from actually killing bugs, working in the business, and to focus on killing repetitive issues by building checklists, processes, workflows?
(Speaker 3)
Could you talk about the impact that that kind of thing has made on your business? Oh, yeah, it’s been it’s been unbelievable, even just like we implemented a system for backing up. We do group interviews now once a week, and we were not doing that. So I would waste time. And we all know you sit down with somebody, you know, within the first 10 seconds, like this guy or lady isn’t the right fit. They’re not going to fit my team.
(Speaker 3)
And I got to feel like I’m almost obligated to waste more time. And so our group interviews, we get it out there. We do it every Wednesday. And at first it was like, well, we didn’t need anybody.
(Speaker 1)
So what are we doing? But we realized that bringing these people in, we started, it had to be a hell yeah. We had to know we had the right people. And so when we got this, we just hired four people. And I’m telling you that the rest of the team, it’s almost like I got to step up or get out because the culture is changing. But we’ve implemented systems now where we have simple checklist.
(Speaker 1)
We have the management checklist when they’re out in the field coaching the team. We’ve got performance based pay now systems that we’ve put in place, but we’ve structured the phone calls and we’re coming in. So we just put all these different things in place are simple. We like simple, simple, simple is easy. We don’t want to complicate it. So we put one person in place.
(Speaker 1)
in place to help everyone. Final two questions I have for you with the limited time we have. Again, folks, for anybody out there, if you want to know these systems, this is what we do. We do a free 13 -point assessment. And then if you want to become a client, our average client is with us for years and years. But what we do is we guide you down this proven path on a month -to -month basis.
(Speaker 1)
So box number 10, we’re going to teach you how to manage people effectively. You have to create effective management systems. Box number 11, you have to create a repetitive weekly schedule, kind of a theme, an anthem, a routine, a tradition, a way in which you work. Your team needs to know when they’re the staff meetings are going to be, and how you follow up, and how you name things, the nomenclature, the language, the common culture, all that matters. Box 12, create human resources systems. It’s all about hiring, inspiring, training, and retaining.
(Speaker 1)
How do you do that? Hiring, inspiring, training, and retaining. We have entire shows dedicated to that. We’ll help you through every aspect of your company. And then Box 13, it’s all about accounting. It’s not about how much money you make.
(Speaker 1)
It’s about how much money you keep. I repeat, it’s not about how much money you make. It’s about how much money you keep.
(Speaker 3)
And we do work on that as well, Box 13. You might say, well, what’s the point of growing a successful company. The point of growing a successful company is so you can do what you believe God has called you to do. And so then you have the financial freedom to pursue goals for your faith, and your family, and your finances, and your fitness, and your friendship, and your fun, and all those things cost money. So again, with a little bit of money, you have the money available to pursue your goals for your faith, your family, your finance, your fitness, your friendship, and your fun. Final two questions I have for you, Sean.
(Speaker 3)
One, for anybody out there watching this show right now, they’re thinking about going to thrivetimeshow . com, they’re thinking about scheduling a 13 .5, assessment. They’re thinking about coming to an in -person workshop. They’re on the fence. They say, I know I can pay $250 or whatever price I want to pay for a conference ticket. I know that I get a free consultation, a free 13 -point assessment, but I don’t know.
(Speaker 3)
What do you say to them, Sean? What are you waiting for? We literally have our conversion, our percent conversion has gone up on our lead conversions. We were only converting 38%. We’re converting almost 70 % now of our leads.
(Speaker 3)
And it’s all proven systems that are in place. I’m telling you, it doesn’t make any sense not to do it. You’re investing in your business and the $1 ,700 is fair in all honesty to what we’re getting as a result in value.
(Speaker 1)
in return. So it’s, it’s, it really is plan. I know you didn’t put me up to that, but what are we waiting for? What are you waiting for? Make the call, fix it, get it done. It works.
(Speaker 1)
They’re proven systems. They work. You probably hear the excitement in my voice play. It’s just, I can’t tell you. I’ve never, I’ve never experienced anything like this. It’s just, it’s, it’s, it’s like, it’s like unreal.
(Speaker 1)
You can’t fathom. You got to get out there and do it and feel it for yourself. Well, the final question I have for you is, I designed Thrivetimeshow . com to be for me. I designed what I do. I designed the business coaching services that I’ve done for 20 years for myself. Because I had companies, and I thought, man, if, because people kept telling me, Clay, your businesses are rocking and rolling.
(Speaker 1)
Could you help me grow my company?
(Speaker 3)
They said, man, your company, djconnection . com, it’s rocking.
(Speaker 2)
Man, your company, Epic Photos, is rocking.
(Speaker 1)
Man, your party rental company, Party Perfect, it is rocking. Man, that dentistry you work with, that thing is rocking. Man, the businesses that you touch are working. You guys have the Midas touch over there. Could you help me? And I always would tell people, well, I’d like to, but you’re going to need a photographer, videographer, web developer, search engine team, a coach, an implementer, someone to follow up.
(Speaker 1)
You’re going to need to have a conference you come to. to stay supercharged, you’re going to need to have best practice systems for everything. There wasn’t anything out there like it. What’s it like knowing that you have a flat monthly rate that you’re paying and you get all that support included with the program? Again, now my business is rocking, let’s just say that. I’ve watched it, I’ve seen and I’ve heard in these meetings and the conference, other people talking about their business and the support
(Speaker 3)
and seeing it and feeling it for myself now, it’s incredible. Sean, thank you so much for your time.
(Speaker 11)
I really do appreciate you.
(Speaker 26)
I encourage everyone to check out that website.
(Speaker 5)
Let’s bring some clarity to that website again here. I’m going to pull it up one more time. Everybody out there, if you enjoyed this show, maybe you didn’t. Maybe you said, this show, Clay, I liked the guest, but I didn’t like you. And that’s fine. But I would encourage you to check out suncoastpestmanagementca .
(Speaker 25)
com. I’ll put a link on the show notes so you can get there easily.
(Speaker 4)
And again, folks, we really do appreciate you taking time to enjoy today’s show. And Sean, thank you so much for encouraging our listeners, and we’ll talk to you soon. Oh, thanks for having me, Clay. Good time. Appreciate it. Take care.
(Speaker 24)
Bye -bye.
(Speaker 4)
My name is Kevin Thomas, and the name of our company is MultiClean. We are a commercial janitorial service, and we serve the entire state of Oklahoma and Kansas, and soon to be Arkansas. We have probably grown probably five times.
(Speaker 6)
I think when we first started with you, we had 60 to 65 employees, and now we have a little over 300 employees.
(Speaker 1)
Before we got involved with Thrive Time, we didn’t really have any systems or processes in place. In six, seven years, I’ve probably been to 12 to 13 business conferences and Amazingly, each time I go, I learn something new and I’m so excited to bring it back and show the team about marketing and how to implement. Clay Clark is here somewhere. Where’s my buddy Clay? Clay’s the greatest. I met his goats today.
(Speaker 23)
I met his dogs.
(Speaker 1)
I met his chickens. I saw his compound. He’s like the greatest guy. I ran from his goats, his chickens, his dogs.
(Speaker 22)
So this guy’s like the greatest marketer you’ve ever seen, right?
(Speaker 1)
His entire life, Clay Clark, his entire life. is marketing. Santa Claus? No, we will not be joined by Santa Claus, but we will be joined by Eric Trump, the son of the 45th and now 47th president of these United States. And yes, Amanda Grace will be in the place. And yes, Dr. Stella Manuel will be there, so you know it will go well.
(Speaker 1)
Yes, we have Mel Kaye in the house. Pastor Phil and Tammy Hotzenpiller will be hosting this event at their beautiful church right there in sunny Anaheim, California.
(Speaker 21)
Yes, folks, make this a December to remember.
(Speaker 1)
Dispatch? Make this a December to remember and join us at the two -day interactive Business Growth Workshops. For over 20 years, folks, I’ve been hosting Business Growth Workshops where we’re going to teach you marketing, sales systems, human resources, accounting, social media marketing, branding, sales training, search engine optimization, accounting, workflow development, financial management, all this and more. How do you get tickets? Go to thrivetimeshow . com.
(Speaker 1)
Again, how do you get tickets? Go to thrivetimeshow . com. and request tickets today. People don’t know this, but the Trump Organization has thousands of employees. There’s not 50 employees.
(Speaker 12)
The Trump Organization, again, most people don’t know this, but the Trump Organization has thousands of employees.
(Speaker 20)
And while Donald J. Trump was the 45th president of these United States, and this just in from our home office, President Donald J. Trump is now the 47th president of these United States as well.
(Speaker 7)
I’m Ron Burgundy.
(Speaker 19)
He needed someone to run the companies for him.
(Speaker 1)
And so the man that runs the Trump organization for Donald J. Trump as he was the 45th president of the United States and now the 47th president of the United States is Eric Trump. So Eric Trump is here to talk about time management. promoting from within, marketing, branding, quality control, sales systems, workflow design, workflow mapping, how to build.
(Speaker 18)
I mean, everything that you see, the Trump hotels, the Trump golf courses, all their products, the man who manages Billions of dollars of real estate and thousands of employees is here to teach us how to do it.
(Speaker 1)
You are talking about one of the greatest brands on the planet from a business standpoint. I mean, who else has been able to create a brand like the Trump brand? I mean, look at it. And this is the man behind the business for the last, pretty much since 2015. He’s been the man behind it, so you’re talking, we’re into nine going into 10 years of him running it, and we get to tap into that knowledge. That’s gonna be amazing.
(Speaker 1)
Now, think about this for a second. Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? German? Forget it, he’s rolling. And A over now.
(Speaker 1)
for a VIP ticket. Now, we only have limited seating here. There’s a lot of togetherness and closeness, camaraderie. So again, if you want to get tickets for this event, all you have to do is go to thrivetimeshow .
(Speaker 17)
com, go to thrivetimeshow .
(Speaker 6)
com. When you go to thrivetimeshow .
(Speaker 16)
com, you’ll go there, you’ll request a ticket, boom.
(Speaker 1)
Or if you want to text me, if you want a little bit faster service, you say, I want you to call me right now. Just text my number. It’s my cell phone number, my personal cell phone number. private between you. Between you, me, everybody. We’ll keep that private.
(Speaker 11)
And anybody, don’t share that with anybody except for everybody.
(Speaker 1)
That’s my private cell phone number. It’s 918 -851 -0102.
(Speaker 15)
918 -851 -0102.
(Speaker 6)
I know we have a lot of Spanish -speaking people that attend these conferences. And so to be bilingually sensitive, my cell phone number is 918 -851 -0102. Zero tip. That is not actually bilingual.
(Speaker 1)
That’s just saying Quan for a one. It’s not the same thing. I think you’re attacking me. Now, let’s talk about this. Now, what kind of stuff will you learn at the Thrive Time Show Workshop? So Aaron, you’ve been to many of these over the past seven, eight years.
(Speaker 1)
So let’s talk about it. I’ll tee up the thing, and then you tell me what you’re going to learn here, OK? OK. You’re going to learn marketing, marketing and branding. What are we going to learn about marketing and branding? Oh, yeah.
(Speaker 1)
We’re going to dive into, you know, so many people say, oh, you know, I got to get my brand known out there, like the Trump brand. You want to get that brand out there. It’s like, how do I actually make people know what my business is? and make it a household name. You’re going to learn some intricacies of how you can do that. You’re going to learn sales.
(Speaker 1)
So many people struggle to sell something. This just in, your business will go to hell if you can’t sell. So we’re going to teach you sales. We’re going to teach you search engine optimization, how to come up top in the search engine results. We’re going to teach you how to manage people. Aaron, you have managed, no exaggeration, hundreds of people throughout your career and thousands of contractors.
(Speaker 1)
And most people struggle with managing people. Why does everybody have to learn how to manage people? Well, because first of all, people are, you either have great people or you have people who suck. So it could be a challenge, you know, learning how to work with a large group of people and get everybody pulling in the same direction can be a challenge. But if you have the right systems, you have the right processes, and you’re really good at selecting great ones. And we have a process we teach about how to find great people.
(Speaker 1)
When you start with the people who have a great attitude, they’re teachable, they’re driven, all of those things, then you can get those people all pulling in the same direction. So we’re going to teach you branding, marketing, sales, search engine optimization. We’re going to teach you accounting. We’re going to teach you personal finance, how to manage your finance. We’re going to teach you How do you manage your time? How do you get more done during a typical day?
(Speaker 1)
How do you build an organization if you’re not organized? How do you do organization? How do you build an org chart? Everything that you need to know to start and grow a business will be taught during this two -day interactive business workshop. Now, let me tell you how the format is set up here. And again, folks, this is a two -day interactive 15.
(Speaker 12)
Think about this, folks.
(Speaker 1)
It’s two days. Each day, it starts at 7 AM, and it goes until 5 PM. So from 7 AM to 5 PM, two days.
(Speaker 2)
It’s a two -day interactive workshop.
(Speaker 1)
The way we do it is we do a 30 -minute teaching session, and then we break for 15 minutes for a question and answer session.
(Speaker 6)
So Aaron, what kind of great stuff stuff happens during that 15 minute question and answer session after every teaching session.
(Speaker 1)
I actually think it’s the best part about the workshops because here’s what happens. I’ve been to lots of these things over the years. I’ve paid many thousands of dollars to go to them and you go in there and they talk in vague generalities and they’re constantly upselling you for something trying to get you to buy this thing or that thing or this program or this membership. And you don’t, you leave not getting your very specific questions answered about your business or your employees or what you’re doing on your marketing. And what’s awesome about this is we literally answer every single question that any person asks.
(Speaker 6)
And it’s very specific to what your business is.
(Speaker 1)
And what we do is we allow you as the attendee to write your questions on the whiteboard.
(Speaker 14)
And then we literally, as you mentioned, we answer every single question on the whiteboard.
(Speaker 1)
And then we take a 15 minute break to stretch and to make it entertaining when you’re stretching. Christian. When you get up and stretch, you’ll be greeted by mariachis. There’s going to probably be alpaca here, llamas, helicopter rides, a coffee bar, a snow cone. You had a crocodile one time. That was pretty interesting.
(Speaker 1)
I should write that down. Sorry for that one guy that we lost. The crocodile, we duct taped its face so that, right? We duct taped. It was a baby crocodile. And we duct taped.
(Speaker 1)
Yeah, duct taped around the mouth so it didn’t bite anybody. But it was really cool passing that thing around.
(Speaker 13)
I should do that.
(Speaker 1)
That’s a good idea. That means you have less than 3 % of our population that’s even self -employed. So you only have 3 out of every 100 people in America that are self -employed to begin with. And when Inc. Magazine reports that 96 % of businesses fail by default, By default, you have a 1 out of 1 ,000 chance of succeeding in the game of business. But yet, the average client that you and I work with, we can typically double this.
(Speaker 12)
No hyperbole, no exaggeration.
(Speaker 1)
I have thousands of testimonials to back this up. We have thousands of testimonials to back it up. But when you work with a home builder, when I work with a business owner, we can typically double the size of the company within 24 months. And you say, double? Yeah, there’s businesses that we have tripled. There’s businesses we’ve grown 8x.
(Speaker 1)
There’s so many examples you can see. at thrive timeshow . com. But again, this is the most interactive best business workshop on the planet. This is objectively the highest rated and most reviewed business workshop on the planet. Add to that Eric Trump, the man that runs the Trump organization.
(Speaker 1)
You say, Clay, I still I’m not going to get a ticket unless you give me more. OK, fine. We’re going to serve you the same meal both days. True story. We cater in the food and because I keep it simple, I literally bring in the same food both days for lunch. was an incredible Mexican restaurant.
(Speaker 1)
That’s going to happen. You want a life -changing experience.
(Speaker 11)
You want to learn how to start and grow a company.
(Speaker 1)
Go to Thrivetimeshow .
(Speaker 3)
com.
(Speaker 1)
Go there right now.
(Speaker 10)
Thrivetimeshow .

(Speaker 9)
Eric Trump, the man who leads the Trump Organization.
(Speaker 8)
It’s going to be a blasty blast.
(Speaker 1)
There’s no upsells.
(Speaker 7)
Aaron, I could not be more excited about this event.
(Speaker 1)
I think it is incredible. And there’s somebody out there right now, you’re watching and you’re like, but I already signed up for this incredible other program called Smoke Your Way to Thin. I think that’s going to change your life. I promise you this will be 10 times better than that. It’s like I picked the wrong week to quit smoking. Don’t do the smoke your way to thin conference.
That is I’ve tried it. Don’t do it. Yeah. Chainsmoking is not a viable. I mean, it is life changing. It is life changing.
If you become a chain smoker, it is life changing. Best weight loss program. Right. Not really. So if you’re looking to have life changing results in a way that won’t cause you to have a stoma, get your tickets at Thrivetimeshow . com.
