Clay, you’re an entrepreneur, I’m an entrepreneur. And as they say in stoic, the obstacle is the way. And so if you let these pinheads get in your way, you’re in trouble. Octononverba is the motto of the U . S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kingspoint, New York.

I had appointments with Naval Academy and Kingspoint Merchant Marine Academy. And Merchant Marine Academy’s motto was Octononverba. In other words, don’t listen to what a person says. Watch what they do. Clay, my honor, my honor to be on your show and thank you for all you do. I hear the ripple effects from you are good ripple effects.

You know what I mean? People rave about what they learn from you.

So congratulations. My name is Kevin Thomas and the name of our company is MultiClean. We are a commercial janitorial service and we serve the entire state of Oklahoma and Kansas and soon to be Arkansas. We have probably grown probably five times. I think when we first started with you, we had 60 to 65 employees, and now we have a little over 300 employees. Before we got involved with Thrive Time, we didn’t really have any systems or processes in place.

In six, seven years, I’ve probably been to 12 to 13 business conferences and Amazingly, each time I go, I learn something new and I’m so excited to bring it back and show the team about marketing and how to help you guys implement the SEO. The coaching is just great because there’s accountability. It’s just a fantastic way to grow your company. Having a relationship with Thrivetimes, it’s just been amazing for multiclaim. Oh my goodness, it frees me up because then I don’t have to take a class on search engine optimization or learn marketing or shoot video. That’s not what we do.

What we do is commercial janitorial service. And you guys were the experts on marketing. And you teach me and hold my hand and show me how to do it right.

And therefore, now my company is much, much larger. Folks, on today’s show, we’re joined by a real client. He may look like a male model. He may look like a hologram, but he’s a real person. He’s a longtime client. He’s a man that we consider to be a friend of The Thrive Time Show and a friend of mine.

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the show Kevin. Welcome on to The Thrive Time Show.

How are you, sir? Clay, I’m doing great.

I had a great Christmas holiday, and I’m glad to be here.

OK, so first question, can you tell us what is your name, first and last name, and what’s the name of your company, sir? My name is Kevin Thomas, and the name of our company is MultiClean.

We are a commercial janitorial service, and we serve the entire state of Oklahoma and Kansas and soon to be Arkansas.

And how long have we worked with you approximately at this point, sir?

It’s been about six, seven years.

Hey, Clay. Greetings, sir.

How are you?

I’m good.

I’m good. Hey, we’ve got a big stack of stuff on today’s show, and I want to get into it with your listeners here. So I’m going to do a little screen share action. I’m going to pull up some stuff because I want everyone to really dial into this here real quick here. So let me pull this up. A little screen share action.

First thing, a little sneak preview here. Eric Trump is going to be on the His Glory show here. I know we’ve nailed down the time, so that is happening. Eric Trump, that’s President Trump’s son. And Dave, we were able to have Eric on the Thrive Time show yesterday. And a lot of what I’m going to be teaching today on today’s edition.

of The Thrive Time Show, sort of business coaching updates on his glory, is about the things that Eric Trump does on a daily basis. And I wanna get your thoughts on this, Dave, real quick, is Charlie Kirk, may he rest in peace, Eric Trump, they’re consistent people. And Dave, when we’re teaching about how to have business success, When you think about Charlie Kirk, may he rest in peace. You think about Eric Trump. You think about these people that are successful. You think about Mike Lindell, insert the name.

They are consistent people. They are consistent people. I want to get your thoughts on that, Dave, because you rose to the top of corporate America. How important is dependability? Because around here, we say our favorite ability is dependability.

How important is dependability and consistency if somebody wants to achieve success? It’s everything. You’ve got to be dependable. You’ve got to be consistent. You can’t take your time off. You can’t give up.

You’ve got to keep charging. You’ve got to do those good habits. The old saying, perfect practice makes perfect. It’s not practice makes perfect. It’s got to be perfect practice makes perfect. Because if you practice wrong, you’ll have wrong habits.

So you’ve got to develop those habits. You and I were kidding before the show started about Dayquil. You just, you can’t take time off. You gotta go to the Lord and just pray. And this is not a time to take a step back.

It’s time to lean in. So let me pull this up real quick here, because I want to share with your listeners. Eric Trump just released his new book here, and his new book is called Under Siege. And I’ve been working with Eric on this book behind the scenes here, Dave, as you know, for a long time. And this book is now out. It’s available for people to read.

It’s called Under Siege. The book is now the number one bestselling book on Amazon right now, just hit number one on Amazon. And again, Eric will be doing an exclusive interview with His Glory soon to talk about the book Under Siege. But Dave, You know, once the idea was had, once somebody has the idea, once Eric said, yes, Clay, I do want to write a book, at that point, Dave, we had to go and we had to connect Eric with a writing team. We had to work on creating the cover of the book.

We had to work on getting the book signed with a book deal. There’s a lot of details that go into a book. And Dave, I think a lot of people would get excited about the idea, but then the messy middle is where it falls apart. You know, you have the idea, so we’re backstage at one of the reawakened events and Eric says, hey, I really want to put together a book. And so we’re talking, okay, what’s the name of it gonna be? Once the name was decided under siege, then it was, okay, let’s make a cover.

Then we got to write the book. We got to organize this book. By the way, this book, folks, part one of the book, talks about being raised by Donald J. Trump, having Donald J. Trump as your father. It’s a powerful book for anybody out there that wants to learn how to mentor your kids to be entrepreneurs, again, under siege. Part two is about, you know, Donald J. Trump announces he’s going to become president. And what’s that like being told at the age of 33 that you’re taking over your dad’s dynasty, your dad’s company, as Eric Trump did as executive vice president?

Part three of the book is sort of his vision for the future, surviving the assassination attempt and all of the things that happened, the persecution, the raid on Mar -a -Lago, and so you have those ideas. You got the book title, you got the cover, you got the idea, okay, I’m excited, but now the messy middle. Who’s gonna record that audio book, Eric Trump? Who’s gonna sit down and edit that thing? I worked on it. Who’s gonna make that book cover?

Our team worked on it. There’s a lot of details, and so if you’re watching today’s show, I wanna encourage you, once you have the idea, that’s step number one. Now we gotta go in and turn that idea into reality. So here we go, Dave. This is a couple. They’re a Christian couple, and they listened to updates that we do on His Glory here, and I want everybody to hear their story.

He sells insurance. There he is. He sells insurance. She sells insurance. Husband -wife team. It’s Matthew and Dominique.

Here we go, folks. Matthew Spar, this is Dominique, my lovely better half, and we own Legacy Foundation Group. So we went from five client -facing appointments per week to now around averaging 10 per day.

And then ROI, if somebody wants to listen in and check in, ROI just last month versus what we put out versus the amount of business that we wrote was over 900 % return. Wow. Dave, they got a 900 % return. How’d they get a 900 % return? Dave, they decided, hey, I’m going to listen to these HisGlory updates, but then I’m not just going to listen, I’m going to actually And Dave, I want to get your thoughts and then we’ll get into our stack of stuff, the details. Why does somebody watching today’s show need to decide to activate and not just educate?

What is the difference, Dave, between passively learning and getting information and then going, I’m going to do it? What’s the difference there? That last part, I’m gonna do it.

It’s literally taking action. As you said, you might have a great idea, but if you don’t take action and learn how to dot the I and cross the T, you can have the greatest ideas in the world, but they gotta materialize. So here we go, folks, getting into our stack of stuff, teaching you how to become a successful entrepreneur. Point number one, the Bible says, and by the way, Dave, the Bible’s kinda harsh in this area, Proverbs 14, 23, kinda harsh. It says, in all labor there is profit. But the talk of the lips tendeth only to pinnery.

That means extreme poverty. Dave, again, in all labor, there’s profit. but in the talk of the lips tendeth only to extreme poverty. What am I saying? What’s the Bible saying? It’s saying there’s profit when you put in the work, Dave, and there’s poverty when you just talk about it, okay?

Dave, there’s somebody watching today’s show, you’ve been talking, and Dave, Matthew and Dominique, they were talking, they’re saying, we love his glory, baby, we love it, we’re Christians, we love it. the show. We’re Christians. We love the show. We watch his glory. I’m telling you, I remember talking to him like it was yesterday.

We watch his glory. We like you. We like Dave. We don’t have any money. Our business isn’t growing. We reached out.

Now we got to put in the work. And Dave, I’m just trying to encourage somebody out there. We’ve got to take action. And Dave, by default, we are going to confuse activity We’re gonna confuse action as just infinite learning, and I wanna wrestle somebody out of that mindset, Dave. There’s somebody out there, you’re just reading the book of James, this book written by the brother of Jesus, and you’re excited about it, but are we going house to house and sharing the gospel? Somebody, you’re watching this show today, and you’ve been thinking about investing in precious metals to protect your wealth, but you haven’t taken action.

There’s somebody, Dave, they’ve been thinking about going to the Kingdom Economy part of your website, but they just, Don’t. Dave, how do we get unlocked?

You’re somebody who’s a man of action. How do we help somebody with as much love and compassion as possible get unstuck? I think the first thing is to check your go to the Lord and say, what’s my purpose?

And if you go to him with a contrite heart and you ask the Lord what my purpose is, he will give you the purpose. And that purpose is always taking action. Now, folks, I’m gonna pull it up here. Next item, item number two. This is so big, this is so big. We’re breaking it down.

This is on the Bible, by the way, folks. Point number two. He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand, but the hand of the diligent man maketh rich. So let’s talk about it for a second. Dave, if Eric Trump had sent to me his manuscript, okay? So Eric Trump, again, his book is called Under Siege.

It just came out. And by the way, folks, if you want to help support Eric Trump and his family who’ve been under siege, just go buy the book today. You say, where do I get it? Go to Amazon. Look for Under Siege. But Dave, if Eric had sent me the manuscript and said, hey, could you edit this thing?

And then I had mailed it in. If I hadn’t been a good and diligent to editing the book, would I have provided any value if I would have put forth work with a slack hand? No, we’ve gotta be diligent. What does diligence means? It means the consistency of effort over time.

What does diligence mean? The consistency of effort over time. So everybody out there, go to thrivetimeshow . com, thrivetimeshow .

com.

Come join Eric Trump, Julie Green, Dave Scarlett, September 25th, 26th at the in -person business workshop, thrivetimeshow .

And we are back with Kingdom Business Builder and Clay Clark.

He hit the commercial absolutely perfect. Can I? So right before I went to break there, Dave, we got one second left on the clock. And so just to translate what I said, I said, there it is. So if you’re watching today’s show, though, and you say, what does that mean? That wasn’t speaking in tongues.

That’s just what happens when you have one second left on the clock there, OK? That’s like an air ball. So here we go. So Amazon, if you go to Amazon, you buy the book Under Siege. Dave, here’s the promotion right now Eric and I are doing. If you buy the book Under Siege on Amazon right now, and you go to thrivetimeshow .

com, and you’re gonna find my phone number at the top right of the screen. My phone number’s at the top right of the screen. So go to Amazon, you buy the book, then screenshot a proof of purchase and text it to my number, 918 -851 -0102. You’re actually entered in for a chance to do a dinner with Eric Trump and myself at Mar -a -Lago. So this is a dinner, an opportunity to have dinner, and you get a chance to win a backstage pass to the upcoming business workshop. So you say, really?

Yeah, so you have a chance to win a backstage pass to the upcoming business workshops and you get a chance to have dinner with Eric Trump. How do you do it? You just buy a copy of the book. Here it is on amazon . com under siege. You take a screenshot of it.

You text me proof of purchase to my phone number 918 -851 -0102. And you’re entered in for a chance to have dinner with Eric Trump and myself at Mar -a -Lago. And so it’s two things you win. And we have these upcoming business workshops, a day of your life. Amanda Grace will be in the house. Julie Greene.

Colton Dixon, the Christian music star, he’ll be in the house. Julie Greene. And the next one’s coming up. It’s gonna be December. four and five in Anaheim, California. Anaheim, California.

You can be backstage with Eric Trump, or you could come join Eric Trump, September 25 and 26. For the September 25 and 26 event, we have four tickets remaining. September 25 and 26. You can get those tickets at thrivetimeshow . com. September 25, 26.

And then if you wanna come to the conference in December, that’s gonna be December 4th and 5th. And so again, you wanna take that action today. Take that action. Tickets are $250 or whatever price you wanna pay. Back to our stack of stuff. The Bible says, he becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand, but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.

And again, Dave, I’m not trying to brag on myself. I’m just giving this example. Eric sent me the manuscript and asked me to edit the book. And so Dave, I edited the book. That’s what I did. And I’m editing the book, obsessively editing the book.

Why am I doing it? Because Eric knows that I’m gonna look for every word possible error in the book. In this manuscript, it is tight. It is detailed. Eric is fastidious. You’ll read it in the book.

You’re gonna learn about being raised by Donald J. Trump. You’re gonna learn about he and Don messing with each other in high school. You’re gonna learn about hanging out with Mike Tyson during his teenage years. You’re gonna learn so much. However, if there would have been spelling errors or accidents within the book, maybe that would have taken away from the integrity of the product. So I read that book and I’m not kidding I read that the book cover -to -cover cover -to -cover many many times why because we’re looking for errors and jumps I’m watching today’s show the difference between you having success and not having success is those details you see details make The difference and so if you’re watching today’s show you say what kind of details were that but that couple Dominique and Matthew the insurance company

their website was not optimized. So no matter how much energy they put into it, no one is going to find their insurance company. Their logo didn’t make any sense. They did not have a no -brainer. Their particular website, by the way, what they do, their no -brainer, is they will compare rates with you, and if they can’t beat your current insurance rate, they’re gonna pay you 40 bucks of cash for your time. I mean, that’s their deal.

We’ll compare rates. If we can’t save you money, here’s 40 bucks. They didn’t have a no -brainer. They didn’t have call scripts. They didn’t have call recording. They did not have a team of people that were motivated to do their jobs.

They didn’t have a workflow. And Dave, there’s somebody out there. They’re highly motivated, but there’s no systems in place. Dave, you’ve been to these workshops. You’ve seen it. Can you talk about this for a second?

Because I think there’s somebody watching today’s show.

You got a big vision, but you need to really take a moment Kind of calm down a little bit and get into the details. What do you say to someone out there, Dave, that just, they got the big vision, but they need those details? Well, that’s why they need a coach like you, Clay, because you take them into the details. I have never, I’ve been to so many, you know, marketing and sales and motivational speaking training in the corporate world and abroad.

I have never seen anybody put it together from A to Z like you have. And you leave that place and if they come on and you coach them, you give them every detail to be successful. You literally dot the I and cross the T. And by the way, at the workshop, Dave, I’m going to bring you up there during the Q &A often. The whole format is very Q &A driven. So we have 14 points of business success we teach. But then as we teach each point, we bring up four or five different actual real life examples, real business owners, real organizational leaders.

And we do a very Q &A driven. It’s a powerful format that we do. And Eric Trump is joining us for 90 minutes. I just want people to know this. If you look up Eric Trump, I challenge anyone, go to YouTube right now, go to YouTube, go to Twitter, look for Eric Trump. Try to find a 90 -minute Q &A with Eric Trump.

You won’t find it. You’re just not going to. So what are we talking about? We’re talking about how do you organize your day? How do you find good people? How do you manage people?

How do you manage the emotions of negative things happening? What is your mindset to branding? What’s the Eric Trump, what’s the Trump family mindset to branding, to sales, raising capital, finance? We’re gonna get into all of the details. And I’m telling you, if you’re out there today and you are stuck and you’re saying, I need to check up from the neck up, I need to turn my business dreams into reality, you gotta go to thrivetimeshow . com.

And what we’re doing right now is if you use promo code HISGLORY, You get a chance to win a backstage pass. You get discounts off of VIP tickets. We’ve got five tickets remaining right now. Thrivetimeshow . com. Point number three in our stack of stuff.

Point number three in our stack of stuff. This is all from the Bible, folks. Point number three. Someone says, this is in the Bible? Yeah, point number three. It says, he that walketh with wise men shall be wise, but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

That’s Proverbs 13, 20.

Now, Dave, you didn’t ask me to do this, and perhaps you’ll rebuke the idea that I even did this, but I’ve been working on kind of a His Glory theme song, and it might not ever get on their show.

You might say, Clay, I’ve got standards. I can’t just play that song on my network. That’s fine. It could be something that you make new employees listen to if they’re performing poorly at work. You make them listen to this as a penalty, but I’ve been working on this kind of His Glory theme song, you know, and you start off your show, you talk about from east to west, from north to south, So I’ve been working with it. And you know what?

I brought in Brett Rayo to work with me on it. He’s a phenomenal singer and musician. But Dave, the reason why I’m bringing in a phenomenal musician to work with me is because he’s a phenomenal musician. That’s why I’m bringing them in. I’m bringing them in. This is a true story.

On Sunday, I got a call from a family member. I’ll be very vague. I haven’t talked to this family member in years, but every time I talk to them, you know what they’re gonna do?

They’re gonna ask me for money.

So the family member calls me up and they say, how are you? I said, good. How are things? Very, very vague here. And they said, you know, is there any way I can get $50 ,000?

And I’m thinking to myself, how wild is that? That the only time we ever talk is when you need some total of money that’s north of $1 ,000. How is that possible? And I’m starting to think, man, does this person, pursue poverty or what’s happening? Because I think about the people that I choose to fellowship, I have an opportunity to speak to you yourself, people like the attorney, Tom Rins. I think about Dr. Zellner, a big mentor in my life.

And I think about these are the people I’ve chosen to surround myself with. And you say, well, how’d you do that? Well, I grew up really poor, and my boss was working for someone who wasn’t poor. Turns out, very few people work for poor people, this just in. And so my wife is working for a very successful boss, by the name of Dr. Robert Zellner. And I said, Dr. Z, sir, he’s wearing his scrubs, he’s a doctor, he’s an optometrist, could I pick your brain?

And I’ll never forget, he looks at me right in the eye and he says, no.

And I’m like, ooh, ooh, salt in the wound, you know? So I keep asking Dave, I’m like, Dr. Zellner, sir, Robert Zellner, sir, could you mentor me? No. And I start asking more and more and more. Eventually, the front desk lady, the manager who managed my wife, Kylie, who’s still there, by the way, she says, He’s never, ever, ever going to meet you for lunch. I just don’t think, I can’t see it happening.

And I go, well, how about this?

What if I pay him for his time?

I promise it’ll be less than 30 minutes. I’ll take him to his favorite place for lunch. He goes. I could probably make that happen. So we went to Ruby Tuesdays, and he didn’t take my money by the way, but I was like, I’m willing to pay $100 for 20 minutes of this man’s time. And I remember sitting down with Dr. Robert Zellner and I said, sir, my company, I was growing at the time, djconnection .

com. This is pre -Christ in my life. I said, sir, and by the way, this company went to become huge, became one of America’s largest entertainment companies. I I said, sir, what’s your approach to advertising? He said, you need to invest in it because if you’re not advertising, it’s like having a car and not putting fuel in it.

And I’m going, I can’t afford to advertise though. I can’t. He goes, that’s why you’re poor. And again, I’m paying him for this lunch, you know? And I’m like, okay, I’ll write that down. I’m like, so I’m looking for a pen.

I’m like, well, I gotta write this down. This is okay. Sir, where should I advertise? He said, the Yellow Pages. This was like 1999, Yellow Pages. And I said, I can’t afford $2 ,500 a month for the Yellow Pages.

I already called the guy. He said, well, then you don’t want it enough, you know? If I were you, I’d just get three jobs. And I’m like, wow, that was a short lunch. But I walked away telling my, you know, my girlfriend at the time, like, Your boss is telling me I need to get three jobs. So, Dave, I got three jobs.

I worked at Applebee’s. I worked at Target. I worked at DirecTV. That’s what I did. And that’s how I built DJConnection . com.

Years later, I met the first black man west of the Mississippi to open a bank, Clifton Talbert. He helped introduce the Stairmaster. I said, Clifton, I’m really having a hard time with making cold calls. I have anxiety.

I have stress.

I’m overwhelmed. Whatever those words were I said at the age of 20. And he said, well, Well, you know how I sold the Stairmaster? I said, how? He said, I made a list of every gym in America and I called them all. I go, everyone?

Yes. And I tried to sell them the Stairmaster. And eventually the US Army said yes. And I sold the product that could not be sold. I didn’t invent Stairmaster. I just sold Stairmaster.

I’m going, wow.

Well, how did you start your bank? He said, I cold called everybody that I could ever think of that I’ve ever met in Tulsa. And I began just cold calling people that lived in Tulsa from the phone book. And that’s how I did it. I’m going, wow. Wow, you cold called everybody in the phone book to start a bank.

He’s like, well, requires capital. And so but again, you become the average of the five people you spend the most time with. So if you’re surrounded by people, they’re always hitting you up for money. People that are always going to the casino. people that have no idea what they’re doing. What’s gonna happen is you’re gonna become the average of the five people you spend the most time with.

So I encourage you today, go to thrivetimeshow . com, go to thrivetimeshow . com, go right there, find the upcoming event, whether it’s December in Anaheim, December 4 or 5 in Anaheim, or September 25, 26 in Tulsa.

Eric Trump is gonna be there, Pastor Dave Scarlett’s gonna be there, Julie Greene’s gonna be there.

You’re gonna be in the room with like 400 to 500 awesome faith -filled, patriotic entrepreneurs.

It’s going to be a blasty blast.

And again, Dave, you’ve been to these conferences. I believe these conferences could be described as life -changing.

No question.

You know, no question.

It’s life -changing. And to give back to the Billions Soul Harvest, too.

I hear so many people, like, that’s their goal.

That’s their life.

It’s the start to the kingdom for Jesus Christ. I’ll tell you, folks, I ended the first segment weirdo in the second segment weird as well. So for anybody here, go and grow and… Clay Clark is here somewhere. Where’s my buddy Clay? Clay’s the greatest.

I met his goats today.

I met his dogs. I met his chickens.

I saw his compound. He’s like the greatest guy. I ran from his goats, his chickens, his dogs. So this guy’s like the greatest marketer you’ve ever seen, right? His entire life, Clay Clark, his entire life is marketing. 4 ,000 % from February to February.

Now I can better that. Okay, Clay, I don’t think you know this. I don’t think you know this.

I’m pinching myself and if I cry, forgive me. In the last two and a half days, We have bettered our entire month of February and the last two and a half days.

So and the phone’s blown up. Everything’s just blown up.

Well you’re right. It is like a rocket ship. So we’re pinching ourselves. I learned at the Academy in Kings Point in New York octa non verba. Watch what a person does, not what they say. But I recognized at the age of 15, I’m going, you know what?

I am not gonna live that way.

And so I started a company out of my parents’ basement called DJConnection . com, and I decided I am going to have success. And so I reached out to millionaires and people that I kinda knew through church and friendships and people that, parents of my friends, and I said, what book would you recommend that I read? I’m a 15 -year -old asking this question. True story, and I kept being told, you gotta read. Hello, hello, hello, Robert Kiyosaki, Rich Dad Radio Show.

It’s an exciting time. Also, I think a treacherous time, a spooky time also. But it’s always, you know, danger is a good time. Today, my guest is Clay Clark, and I went out with Tom Wheelwright to visit Clay with Eric Trump also. And the reason I wanna talk to Clay this morning is a very important subject called study. And the reason I say that is things are changing so fast, and many people are completely missing the show.

You know, things are changing at rapid, rapid, rapid speed. Technology is changing. So I went to Tulsa, well, again, with Tom Wheelwright and Eric Trump. And the thing I was so impressed about Clay is this word called study. I don’t know. You guys must must be in your water or something, Clay.

But boy, I was so, so impressed how big you guys are. But what really impressed me was you have this huge congregation. They’re all about guys your age. They’re on fire. And you start your classes at five in the morning. Now, let me talk to you about study here.

We show our books here. This is how I study. You know, this is the creature from Jekyll Island. It’s on the Fed. And what a click. doing the same thing.

We study. So I go out to Clay’s place in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He’s built this huge compound out there. And you guys start at 5 o ‘clock in the morning. It’s not by Zoom. They drive there.

They show up 5 o ‘clock, bright -haired, bushy -tailed, and all this. And they’re on fire. Your group is on fire. So that’s what was unclear. This technology, you tell your group, I was so, so impressed because like I said, studies became a bad word. I got into fights in my own company because our staff didn’t want to study anymore.

And I just, I don’t know how they can not do that. So Clay, anyway, welcome to the Rich Dad Radio Show.

That’s what I wanna talk to you about, is how do you do it?

Five o ‘clock in the morning, you have hundreds of people showing up in your huge, huge, huge auditorium on your property to study.

Anyway, welcome to the show, Clay, and what turns you on so much? That’s what I wanna know.

Give us a little bit about your background. My name is Karime Schofield, and the name of our company is Whistle While You Clean. I am Sophia Schofield.

We live in Cincinnati, Ohio, and we service the tri -state. So Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana. We were getting a phone call and we were like, why is someone calling our business line? That’s unusual. And we picked it up and it was a lead. I mean, it’s, it’s been incredible, Clay.

It’s, we’ve had like, we’ve gone from zero to like a hundred percent growth. Like we’re like a full functioning company. It’s great. Like we were blown away at how well we’re doing. So working with you guys, you guys have really taught us a lot about generating leads and pursuing our dream 100. So we have a list of customers that we want to market to.

And so we’ve been making phone calls. We’ve been showing up in person. We’re trying to get near the businesses that they would visit if they were visiting like a hair salon or something. And then we start calling them and we just start pursuing them. And then the other thing that we do is when we do do cleans, we take a lot of video testimonials and we post those to our website so other customers can see. And then we also upload a lot of images of the things that we do.

And so We’re also asking our clients for Google reviews after we’ve cleaned their houses. And so it’s this constant cycle of doing those things over and over and over again. I would say if you’re on the fence, go to one of Clay’s conferences. They are hilarious. They’re fun. They’re educational.

They’re so good that even my teenagers like them. And I would say don’t let fear hold you back. If you want to start a business, do the obvious thing and hire someone who knows how to run businesses. If I wanted to get in shape, I’d hire a gym person, you know, a personal trainer. This is like the personal training for business. It has been absolutely amazing.

I mean, our coach is encouraging. When he first met with us, he said, Do we want him to be like a drill sergeant with us? You know, what level of intensity do we want him to give us? And I will say he is incredibly, incredibly encouraging all the time. And he just hits the same mark with us every single time. It’s very repetitive, but I feel like I think we both really learn a lot every time we sit down and have a conversation with him over the phone.

It’s it’s he keeps pushing us to go further, and he can recognize when we’re afraid to do something, and he’ll give us a little bit of grace but then next week he’s drilling us again, like pushing us to go harder. Our no brainer offer is we are offering your first clean for a dollar.

And that sounds absolutely insane. It even sounded insane when I was talking over it with our business coach.

And I will tell you that that has generated some of our hugest clients. I mean, that has been like a game changer because it opened up the door to more clients, more recommendations, more leads. And we were surprised how far that Dollar Clean got us.

How important has it been for you to work out that scripting?

Even though you offer a dollar for the first clean, how important has it been for you to nail that down?

It’s been really important, because it kind of, it hones in, so that you’re not just all over the place when you’re trying to explain what it is that you do. And a lot of times, it’s like you’re a good person offering a good product, and you have integrity, and you want to communicate that.

But when you go to communicate without a script or without practice, it’s just like, a mess coming out of your mouth, as opposed to having this, you know, honed in practice where you know what you’re going to say, you know how you’re going to say it, and you can almost expect better results when you do it that way.

Had you ever been an entrepreneur before starting this particular business?

No, never. Did you ever think about wanting to own your own business someday?

Or what was the first time you thought, you know, maybe I would like to open my own business? Absolutely. I’ve probably been dreaming about it for about 10 years.

Okay, let me go to your daughter here. Had you ever thought about wanting to team up and open your own business or was that something that you were maybe excited about or not so much? Well, for me, my parents would always listen to your podcast. and business podcast. And as I started listening to them, I started realizing that I wanted to own a business. www .

WhistleWhileYouClean . com.

Honestly, the hardest thing was getting over the fear. It was the fear of the unknown. It was there was like a cloud of doubt that, you know, you can’t do this. You’re going to fail. There was a few sleepless nights there when we did pull the trigger and join your team and start the coaching process. Even my husband put a little bit of pressure on me from time to time because it just it was just absolutely scary to take that jump and actually start a business.

You’re an entrepreneur. I’m an entrepreneur. And as they say in stoic, the obstacle is the way. And so if you let you let these pinheads get in your way, you’re in trouble. Octononverba is the motto of the U . S.

Merchant Marine Academy at Kingspoint, New York. I had appointments with Naval Academy and Kingspoint Merchant Marine Academy. And Merchant Marine Academy’s motto was Octononverba.

In other words, don’t listen to what a person says, watch what they do. Clay, my honor, my honor to be on your show. And thank you for all you do.

We’ve added, I think when we first started with you, we had 60 to 65 employees, and now we have a little over 300 employees. Before we got involved with Thrive Time, we didn’t really have any systems or processes in place.

I’ve probably been to, in six, seven years, I’ve probably been to 12 to 13 business conferences and Amazingly, each time I go, I learn something new and I’m so excited to bring it back and show the team about marketing and how to help you guys implement the SEO.

And the coaching is just great because there’s accountability and it’s just a fantastic way to grow your company. Having a relationship with Thrivetime, it’s just been amazing for MultiClean. Oh my goodness, it frees me up because then I don’t have to get take a class on search engine optimization or, or, or learn marketing or shoot video. That’s not what we do. What we do is commercial janitorial service. And you guys were the experts on marketing and you teach me and hold my hand and show me how to do it right.

And therefore now my company is much, much larger. Folks on today’s show. We’re joined by a real client. He may look like a male model.

He may look like a hologram, but he’s a real person. He’s a lawyer.

client.

He’s a man that we consider to be a friend of The Thrive Time Show and a friend of mine. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the show, Kevin.

Welcome on to The Thrive Time Show.

How are you, sir?

Clay, I’m doing great.

Had a great Christmas holiday, and I’m glad to be here.

OK, so first question, can you tell us what is your name, first and last name, and what’s the name of your company, sir? My name is Kevin Thomas, and the name of our company is MultiClean. We are a commercial janitorial service, and we serve the entire state of Oklahoma and Kansas, and soon to be Arkansas. And how long have we worked with you approximately at this point, sir? It’s been about six, seven years. Clay Clark is here somewhere.

In the last two and a half days, We have bettered our entire month of February in the last two and a half days. So, and the phone’s blowing up. Everything’s just blowing up. You’re right. It is like a rocket ship. So we’re pinching ourselves, actually.

I learned at the Academy at King’s Point in New York, acta non verba. Watch what a person does, not what they say. But I recognized at the age of 15, I’m going, you know what? I am not going to live that way.

And so I started a company out of my parents’ money. called DJConnection .com, com, and I decided I am going to have success. And so I reached out to millionaires and people that I kinda knew through church and friendships and people that, parents of my friends, and I said, what book would you recommend that I read? I’m a 15 -year -old asking this question. True story.
