Some shows don’t need a celebrity narrator to introduce the show, but this show does. In a world filled with endless opportunities, why would two men who have built 13 multi -million dollar businesses altruistically invest five hours per day to teach you the best practice business systems and moves that you can use? Because they believe in you, and they have a lot of time on their hands. This started from the bottom, Now they’re here. It’s the Thrive Time Show, starring the former U . S.
Small Business Administration’s Entrepreneur of the Year, Clay Clark, and the entrepreneur trapped inside an optometrist’s body, Dr. Robert Zunder. Two men, eight kids, co -created by two different women, 13 multi -million dollar businesses. Do you want to become a super successful person or not and I’m giving you the tools you have a calendar gotta have a do list, and you gotta wake up an hour before you see people and organize your days. Does that make sense? So you’ve done the books for financially successful people.
Oh, yeah. Do you see patterns? Yeah, you see a lot of patterns. Because that’s the interesting part of my interaction. I know all of the financial details of the people that I’m talking to all day, every day. And so you can see the difference.
Because one of the things with the to -do list is some people make a decision right away. Some people pretend like they’re going to do it. And some people put it on their to -do list. And putting it on your to -do list or doing it right away is great. But the ones who do neither tend to be the ones who have financial problems. Troy, you see any common traits with super successful people?
Yeah, absolutely. A lot of discipline. I have patients that are Olympic athletes who have won gold and silver, and then wealthy business owners. And they all are very disciplined. They stick to their calendars, basically, one of the things I think you’re trying to say to people. But they’re extremely disciplined.
They get up early. They work hard. And they’re very, very focused on whatever they’re doing. Mindset is one of my clients. He’s a professional basketball coach. I’ll just keep it kind of vague What his name is you might meet him in a conference if you come to enough you’ll see him But uh, he says the other day.
Hey, can we do a call on Sunday at 4? Now? He’s out in California What do you think my follow -up question was when he said let’s meet at 4 a . m. Or p . m.
That was it and he goes a . m I’m like, okay Because super successful people plan their day. And he said, I’ll meet you at 4, Sunday at 4. And I’m going, AM or PM? He’s like, dude, do you know it’s AM? I go, OK.
You know? Because it’s just a different culture. And I’m trying to say, do you want to become super successful? OK? So what we’re going to do is, before we take our break, I want to tee up our next speaker. Years ago, I read this book about public relations.
So Sean, do a Google search onto Amazon. or go to Amazon and type in Michael Levine and PR, you’ll find the book. And so I’m reading this book about PR, public relations, okay? And this guy was the PR consultant of choice for Nike. Who’s heard of Nike? I’ve never heard of Nike.
Nike, Pizza Hut, Michael Jackson, Prince, Charlton Heston, George Bush, and Bill Clinton. I’m like, wait a minute. How could these two guys have the same PR guy? Wait a minute! This is, you know, I’m going, wait a minute, this guy, so I look at, I’m going, oh man, so I’m reading this book, and when I read books, I read books like a kid opening up Christmas presents. I am just like giddy.
I come upstairs, I’m like, this book is amazing! I mean, it’s life -changing, this book. If you read this book, this book blows your mind for marketing and PR. I mean, it’s just amazing! So what I do, if you ever walk into my office, you’ll see on my shelf, there’s books in the shelf there. And if they have a green sticker on it, it means I’ve read the book and interviewed the author.
So I reach out to this guy. Google search Michael Levine real quick there, Sean. And I Google search, and I’m like, this guy was the PR guy for George Carlin. This guy was the PR guy for Barbara Streisand. This guy is God’s gift to PR, and he’s dyslexic. No, I’m talking to Michael Levine, then PR, not biologist.
PR. Hey, he’ll get it. Okay, there you go. Yeah, publicist. Go click on that top listing there. And I’m going, this guy is God’s gift to PR, and he’s dyslexic.
He’s a best -selling author, and he’s dyslexic. Could you imagine what it would be like to be a dyslexic best -selling author? I know people that are not dyslexic that claim they can’t write books. Can’t find the time, you know? And his father wasn’t necessarily the best influence. We can go on and on.
I thought to myself, I’ve got to meet this guy. And through much harassment, I finally got on the phone with him. I think he lowered his standards by a lot. And I got him on the phone, and he and I become friends. And now, who knows about the new Michael Jackson movie? New Michael Jackson movie?
Who’s seen it? He now represents the Michael Jackson estate to this day. And that’s what he does. And he’s here today to talk about the habits of super successful people. And so I’m going to bring him up in a minute. But before we do that, Sean, can you cue a Billie Jean Michael Jackson?
But I want to do it from the Apollo so you can see. Because remember when Michael Jackson came onto the scene and moonwalked? You remember that? He’s the first guy to do the moonwalk. If you don’t remember that, Riyadh’s son, because you weren’t born yet. You weren’t even a thought yet.
You weren’t even, you’re 14 now, right? Yeah, you weren’t even a thought, bro. But anyway, so Michael Jackson, he shows up, you got it on YouTube here? Michael Jackson shows up in front of a crowd, and he moonwalks for the first time. And then, long story short, Michael Levine represented him, and helped navigate his career, and I’m gonna bring him up to speak in a minute. But we’re gonna hit play here, take a quick five minute stretch break, and we’re coming back here at 9 .20 for Michael Levine.
Hit play there, Sean. You hitting play, Sean? You killing the mojo? What are you doing here? Here we go. No, this is not it.
No, I want the live version. Don’t do that to the people. You guys are sick. I want the live version. And you say, why do I know this? Because this is all I care about.
OK, Paul, there you go. Yes, 1983, hit play. Try that again. OK, we’ll come back in five minutes. Crank it up, Sean. Nice and loud.
Make my ears bleed. OK, we’ll be back here in five minutes with Michael Levine. See ya. All right, if we can grab a seat here, if we can get our seats, if we can grab our seats here, okay, okay. And we’re gonna grab our seats, get ourselves psychologically prepared. I’m gonna move some stuff around so that way Michael has room to move.
And I need, if I can, James, can I have you come up here real quick here, James? I’m gonna bring James real quick here. We’re gonna do a quick little housekeeping there, that way Michael’s got room to move. Okay, let’s organize this stuff real quick over here and let’s move this podium. That way Michael’s got some room to move. Thank you, James.
I appreciate it. So Michael comes to us from California and Michael has worked… I just want you to think about this. Michael has worked directly with Michael Jackson. Whether you like Michael Jackson or not, I would argue he’s the number one music artist of all time in terms of record sales. Whether you like Prince or didn’t like Prince, I would argue he’s probably one of the most musically talented musicians of our time.
Whether you like, by the way, George Carlin, wasn’t George Carlin ahead of his time? Whether you like George Carlin or not, I would say George Carlin was probably almost like a prophet. I mean, a truth -telling machine of comedy. This guy’s worked with Barbra Streisand. I mean, this guy’s worked with Nike. He’s worked with Prince.
And the things that he has, the knowledge he has, is next level. And there’s two items I wanted Michael to talk about, but I want to give him the freedom to talk about whatever he wants to talk about without censorship. There’s two items I wanted him to teach today, and I hope you can take notes and really keep up with him, is I want to have him talk about the path to becoming successful. Because if you aren’t careful, you leave a conference like this, and you want to hit the microwave button, and you want to become successful in two months, or 30 days, or whatever that, and there’s a lot of videos on YouTube that will claim to make that happen for you. And so, he’s going to talk about, like, the two year button. You know, two years from now, you’re going to be the next success story.
You’ll be the next Greg. You’ll be the next Troy. You’ll be the next, you know, what does that path look like? And the other thing I wanted to talk about is the traits of all super successful people. Because super successful people operate at a very different Energy, I’m not talking new age philosophy. I’m just saying Jesus called it your countenance your countenance and and there’s a sense of urgency It’s a countenance and I want to talk about just the overall the common denominator character traits of all super successful people and I want them to talk about the path to go from where you are to where you want to be and what I want to do for a second is I want to make sure we’re all in here for that a Rihanna Rihanna Rihanna, can you round up everybody who’s outside and get them inside?
James, will you also participate in that game? And I just want to get everybody here, because the stuff you’re going to learn, for me, I grew up poor. Somebody here grew up more poor. But I had never been around super successful people. I’d never been around, like, I’d never been around people that had multiple pieces of real estate they were managing. I’d never been around people who were managing a team of 50 employees, or five employees, or 100 employees.
I’d never been around with people that fill up arenas routinely. And so, for me, My pro tip to becoming super successful, my… hack, I figured out, my move that I figured out was I would cold call really rich people. So I cold called the founder of Hobby Lobby and I said, Mr. Hobby Lobby, can I spend a day with you? And shockingly, the answer is almost always no. But if you offer enough money and you’re persistent enough, eventually you can get Mr. Hobby Lobby to let you shop.
George Foreman, remember George Foreman, the boxer? I cold called George Foreman. I said, George Foreman, I understand you became a Christian. I would love to meet you, sir. And shockingly, after enough persistence, he said yes. The founder of Quick Trip, the gas stations, I hounded this man. I thought he was going to file a restraining order against me.
And I wanted to file a restraining order against myself as a result of calling him so much. But I did. and I got a chance to spend a day with, so that’s kind of how I forged my path to becoming super successful. So again, if you’re here today and you feel somewhat locked, somewhat trapped, and you go, what is the path to success? And what are the common traits of all super successful people? I think you’re going to have a lot to learn.
And what I’m going to do, it’s 923. I’m going to let Michael speak for as long as he wants, and then we’ll do a Q &A. So we’ll do a Q &A. And when Michael travels here from California, I revere his time. He’s a great friend of mine. And so it could be Michael Levine for two minutes.
It could be Michael Levine for an hour. I don’t know. But then we’re going to do a Q &A afterwards. So with that being said, ladies and gentlemen, please stand to your feet and greet my good friend, the Michael Jordan of public relations, Michael Levine, all the way. from California. Yes!
Thought maybe a good place to start would be for me to try to share with you maybe a difference between Clay and I, right? Clay has just spent some time with you this morning, very, very valuable, talking about the tactics of success, right? What do you do? Tactics, make a to -do list, all these things, tactics. I am going to talk about about a little different quadrant of success, and that’s the mindset, the mindset of success, see? Tactics, what do you do, what do you do, what do you do?
I’m gonna go in a little different direction, very symbiotic direction. The mindset, what kind of mindset do these people have? And maybe, virtue of that, how you might acquire some of that mindset, maybe you have some of that mindset. So that’s a kind of, maybe that’s what’s made for this great friendship between Clay and I. It’s an interesting kind of partnership between tactic, mindset. One might say mindset delivers tactic, one might say tactic delivers mindset, but I would argue they’re very, very symbiotic. If you don’t know that word, write it down, put it in your lookup list.
symbiotic, okay? All right, so friends, I also did not grow up in a good home. I was born and raised in New York City. I was born two and a half miles north of ground zero. So you’re looking at one of the very, very few Americans alive today that had the unique distinction of watching the World Trade Center be built twice. And my family was not a good family.
There was alcoholism in my family. Anyone here have that situation? Raise your hand. Any of you know people that have been raised in that situation? Friends, that’s not a good deal. Let me talk about that for a moment.
If you’re raised in an alcoholic home, you learn or not to raise yourself. That’s a bad deal, an alcoholic. So I didn’t get good cards in that area, but I had another problem. Another problem. I was born with a disability and that disability 40 years ago was not very well known. But today it’s better known, way better known.
Today we call it dyslexia. Raise your hand if you know what that’s about. Well, you do. See, 40 years ago we had a different, different word for that, different term for that. May I share it with you? Forty years ago we had dyslexia.
called dumb. See? And let me help you understand something because most of you weren’t around 40 years ago. See the world’s changed a lot friends. Different world. 40 years ago you could walk into an elementary school and have a teacher say that kid’s retarded.
That would be normal. See, today you couldn’t say stuff like that. So now I’m born in this alcoholic home. I was born with dyslexia. So that means I was a really, really, really shitty student. See?
Didn’t know why I was shitty. They said, you’re a shitty student because you’re dumb, son. See? Well, I barely graduated high school. Now I’m 17 years old, and I’m out of high school. Barely.
Okay, now at this point in the story, I am scared and skinny, and I’ve got no job, no money, no education, and no parenting. And I’ve got dyslexia. Other than that, I’m in good shape. See? Good shape. Now, off I go on this journey.
Since I like to eat, I gotta learn to work. But who the hell’s gonna hire some dumb fuck like me? No one. So off we go. And I learned something, though I didn’t have words for it, and Clay has given you words for it. I didn’t have them at the time.
And that’s this. See, guys? maybe I’ll tell you a secret about me that maybe you already figured it out. I am not very bright. I’m not very bright. However, I am above average at watching what bright people do.
Isn’t that interesting? See I’m above average at watching what bright people do. And that’s been damn helpful. Now here’s another secret for you. Write it down damn it. I’m even better.
I’m even better. watching what dopey people do, and even more. See friends, if you watch what the bright people do, you watch what the dopey people do, you make a decision to follow what the bright people do, don’t do the stuff the dopey people do, isn’t that? Come on now, come on. So I got into this very unique situation, unexpected. unprepared for where I started representing some of the biggest most famous people in the world.
In the God’s name did that happen? I did and so I decided to ask myself a question that I’ve been obsessed with for 40 years and here it is. What is it that the super successful people know that mere mortals don’t know? What is it that the super successful people know that mere mortals don’t know? And more importantly, perhaps, if we can identify what those things are, are they transferable?
Because if they’re not transferable, if they’re brought on, as Bob Dylan says, by a simple twist of fate, then I’m screwed because I didn’t get born with good cards. See, isn’t life interesting in certain ways? How do you play your cards? Isn’t it true that some people get dealt in early life bad cards? Isn’t that true? Well, of course.
Of course. And is it also true that some people get dealt good cards? Isn’t that true? Well, of course, of course it’s true. So how do you play your cards? You know people born with good cards, they play them bad.
You know people born with bad cards, they learn to play them good. The quality of your life will be largely determined, in case you haven’t figured this out yet, by how you learn to play your cards. Come on, man. I think I identified, after a 40 -year study, three qualities present in the mindset of all super successful people. Now, our dear friend Clay, smarter than I, has taught you some of the tactics. Dear friends, come on now. If you can’t do it, to do less.
go home. You’ve got bigger problems. Come on now. Come on. He’s taught you the tactics. I’m going to talk about the mindset.
There were three things present in all super successful people that I discovered 100 % of the time, not 94 .8. 100 % of the time, all super successful people had these three qualities in their mindset. So I would then like to suggest, perhaps, perhaps, that if you can acquire some of these three qualities, you’re going to be like one of those Elon Musk rockets. Come on now. This isn’t. This is how it is.
So I figured out, you know what? If I’m going to tell you about these three qualities, maybe I should try to make them memorable so you can write them down. You can remember them, right? See, Clay has his little thing he does with how you remember them. Well, I’m going to try them for you, okay? Here we go.
Write them down. Three, three magic O’s. Write them down. Don’t make me come over there. Three magic O’s, okay. The first.
Magico was obsession. All our super successful people had a quality present in them, a mindset quality present in them, that I like to refer to as obsession. See, I gotta come up with the O’s, so it gotta be obsession. What’s obsession? Obsession, by the way, in case, let me tell you what it isn’t. Isn’t that a good thing?
Let’s talk about what it isn’t. It’s not ambition. See, it’s not ambition. All of you know in your life who are ambitious but can’t find their way out of a burning building. See, it’s not ambition. It’s something deeper.
It’s something more primal. It’s a burning, maniacal rage as if your life depended on it. Maybe you didn’t hear me. I said It’s a burning, maniacal rage as if your life depended on it. Second, it was a very unusual form of optimism. Let me tell you what it wasn’t. It wasn’t this kind of Mr. Rogers optimism.
If I’m a good person, good things will happen to me. No, you could be a vegan and a tiger still eat your ass. Come on now. Pay attention. It’s not that. It’s something paradoxical.
And by the way, if you don’t have a good working definition in your life of paradox, I would like to encourage you to look it up. See, that’s worth doing. Why is that? Because life is filled, saturated with paradox. Life is saturated with paradox. You should have a good working definition of the concept of paradox.
If you’re going to jump around this crazy old planet. So here was the paradoxical form of optimism that our super successful friends had present a hundred times out of a hundred. Here we go. They believed that tomorrow can be better than today, though there’d be easy. or fair. See the world, in case you haven’t figured it out, or fair.
Let me help you with something, in case you wondered. 50 years ago was the world easy or fair? No. How about a hundred years ago? No. How about a hundred years from now?
No. The game is not easy. The game is not fair. Though. Though not easy and though not fair. American friends now are screwing up their life and their society.
Running around the planet. thinking like a victim. Oh, it’s not fair! Darling, it’s never been fair, you dumbass! Come on now! If you’re broke in America, here’s a good clue.
If you’re sitting around here saying, you know, I have a feeling that I really would enjoy being broke. Here’s a good clue. Here’s your number one pointer. Ready? Think like a victim. Look around you damn country.
Goodness gracious. My goodness gracious. How in the God’s name did we create a bunch, a civilization, so many of whom think like a victim? Well, the first thing is we sent them off to school. We sent them off to college. See, don’t do that.
That’s a bad plan. That doesn’t mean there aren’t some valuable things to learn in college. But the problem is it’s a game of Russian roulette. Now, unless you want to play Russian roulette, So you’re going to send an 18 -year -old to a 22 -year -old. You spent all your life raising this kid. You love this kid more than your life itself.
18, 18, 18. Now you’re going to send this kid off to a university, the University of Russian Roulette. Now things could work out. See, only one bullet, it’s six. See? Five out of six, you’re OK. I think that those are better odds, Russian Roulette, than you go to college.
I think it’s a 50 -50 deal in college. I know so many parents who say, I sent my kid to college, one year later, and it didn’t work. recognize that kid. Now it could work out. There are kids that come out of college okay. Careful now.
Careful. All right. Optimism. Optimism. Paradoxical. The game is not easy.
The game is not fair. It’s never been easy. It’s never been fair. It’s not going to be easy or fair ever. Forget it. Lose it.
Don’t sign up for that class. with enough burning maniacal rage, focus, and some of the tactics Clay has gifted you with today, for free. Aim is winnable, though not easy and though not fair. Greatest thing ever said to me on the topic of optimism was said to me by General Colin Powell, the late General Colin Powell. He said it to me in six words. Now, it’s real hard, in case you haven’t figured this out, to be profound in six words.
If you don’t believe me, try it sometimes. Here’s what the general said. He said that perpetual optimism is a force multiplier. Perpetual optimism is force multiplier. Now he was a military general so what he was trying to say in those six words words is that if you take a force of a hundred men, a hundred men, and you saturate them, those hundred men can fight with the force of a thousand or a million.
If on the other hand you take the same hundred men, saturate them with negativity, they can’t fight with the force of two. Now think about all these different race hustlers in America. Go into the neighborhood. These kids are already screwed up. They’re living in tough situations. They didn’t get good.
And they go in and they tell them in all their big poetic language, victim, victim. You’re a victim. America’s racist. You’re a victim. Those damn poor kids come to believe it. Wouldn’t you?
I would. Can’t have anything. You’re in America. It’s disgusting. Racist. Everybody out there wants you dead.
Kids come to believe it. I would. It’s not their fault. I would. They use it with poetic language. They have a good turn of phrase.
Careful now. So, the first O was obsession. The second O, optimism. The third O is obligation. Our super successful friends came to believe they had a weird, weird relationship, weird, unusual relationship with responsibility. Their word was their bond, particularly to themselves.
Isn’t that interesting? Their word was their bond, particularly to themselves. They had a reverent relationship with time. Time! See, Thursday at 7 p . m.
didn’t mean Thursday at a quarter of 8. I’m gonna tell you four things. I’ve never met most of you. I hope I get a chance to meet you a little bit later, visit with you. I want you to do something, if you would be willing, right now, try a little thought experiment together. I’m not a mentalist.
I want you to think of two people in your life, could be anyone you want, two people in your life who you know, who are achieved. they underachieve. Now that doesn’t mean they’re in prison for damn sake. It just means they underachieve. They’re fairly bright, they’re nice enough, but they just don’t hit their potential. Whatever it is, they’re just unable, just can’t quite, okay, you got two people in your head, think of them.
They could be men or women, black or white, gay or straight. Fat or thin, doesn’t matter. Just figure two in your head. Get them kind of set in your brain. Ready? Here we go.
I’m going to tell you four things about them. I’ve never met them. I don’t never met you. How do I know you’re two underachieving friends? Okay. Here’s four things about them.
Let’s see how I do. Maybe I’ll screw up. That’d be fun. Number one, they have an effed up relationship with time. They’re always late. They’re always blaming traffic.
Oh my God, they like saying oh my God a lot. OMG, OMG, the traffic, I’ve been running, you know how busy I’ve been. They have an effed up relationship with, they have an effed up relationship with responsibility. See, it’s always somebody’s fault, very often Donald Trump’s. Isn’t that something? It’s their parents’ fault.
It’s their wife’s fault. It’s Trump’s fault. It’s America’s fault. So they have an effed up relationship with time. They have an effed up relationship with responsibility. Pretty good, huh?
So how am I doing so far? They have an effed up relationship with planning. Planning. What are you going to do next week? I don’t know. I’ve been busy.
I don’t know. They have an effed up relationship. They have an effed up relationship Discipline. They start the gym, they end the gym. You know how it is, right? Now, let’s see.
How did I do? How did I do? Pretty good! First suggestion, don’t do. See, don’t do that. I told you, I’m not very bright.
I’m above average at watching what bright people do. Come on now, work with me. You can do this. It’s not that hard. Okay, so these folks had a weird, wacky relationship obligation. The word was their bond particularly to themselves.
Let me talk about two types of people. You know both types, but the first type is really. They come to see you, they’re a friend of yours, and they say, hey, you know, this year I got myself a goal. I said, really, what is it, darling? Well, I’m going to lose some weight this year. I’m going to lose some weight this year.
See, that’s a common goal, isn’t it? OK. Now there’s a second type of people. They’re far more rare. They come up to you and they say, I got a goal. I said, really, what is it, darling?
They say eight pounds. December 6th. Now, that’s a different way of phrasing it, isn’t it? Which one of those people, group one or group two, was more likely to hit their goal? Oh, you thought so too. You figured that out all by yourself.
No help? Pretty good. The goals were specific, almost always written. sensitive. They didn’t say next year. No, no, I don’t want to hear next year.
I got a little box here. I got to have a date, darling. Come on now. What’s your birthday, son? December 20th. That’s a good day.

Before we got involved with Thrive Time, we didn’t really have any systems or processes in place. I’ve probably been to, in six, seven years, I’ve probably been to 12 to 13 business conferences and Amazingly, each time I go, I learn something new and I’m so excited to bring it back and show the team about marketing and how to implement. Okay, Aaron Antis, November 5th and 6th. Guess who’s coming back to Tulsa? I will give you a hint.
His first name is Eric. And his last name is Trump. And his father is the 47th president of these United States. Yes! Eric Trump is joining us once again here September 25th and 26th in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the two -day interactive Thrive Time Show Business Growth Workshop. But Eric Trump is bringing friends.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen. Amanda Grace will be in the place. Dr. Stella Emanuel will be here in T -Town in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Julie Green will be on the scene. Mel K will be here to say hey. Dave Scarlett from his
Glory team will be here. It’s going to be a blasty blast right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. If you want to start or grow a super successful company, if you want to make your wallet great again or make your wallet great for the first time, if you want to learn marketing, systems, scaling, human resources, accounting, social media, branding, search engine optimization, sales training, financial management and more, get your tickets right now at Thrivetimeshow . com. Once again, it’s Thrivetimeshow . com.
I definitely just stared at the walls figuring out how to make my facility look like this place. This place rocks. It’s invigorating. The walls are super. It’s just very cool. The atmosphere is cool.
The people are nice. It’s a pretty cool place to be. Very good learning atmosphere. I literally want to model it and steal everything that’s here at this facility and basically create it just on our business side. Lay is Hilarious. I literally laughed so hard that I started having tears yesterday.
And we’ve been learning a lot, which, you know, we’ve been sitting here, we’ve been learning a lot, and so the humor definitely helps, it breaks it up. But the content is awesome, off the charts, and it’s very interactive, you can raise your hand, it’s not like you’re just listening to the professor speak, you know? The wizard teaches, but the wizard interacts and he takes questions, so that’s awesome. If you’re not attending the conference, you’re missing about three quarters to half of your life. it’s probably worth a couple thousand dollars. So you’re missing the thought process of someone that’s already started like nine profitable businesses.
So not only is it a lot of good information, but just getting in the thought. Clay Clark is here somewhere. Where’s my buddy Clay? Clay’s the greatest. I met his goats today. I met his dogs.
I met his chickens. I saw his compound. He’s like the greatest guy. I ran from his goats, his chickens, his dogs. So this guy’s like the greatest marketer you’ve ever seen, right? His entire life, Clay Clark, his entire life is marketing.
A lot of people don’t know this, but the Trump Organization has thousands of employees. There’s not 50 employees. The Trump Organization, again, most people don’t know this, but the Trump Organization has thousands of employees. And while Donald J. Trump was the 45th president of these United States, he needed a competent man to run and execute his business plans. Showtime! So the man that runs the Trump Organization Before Donald J. Trump, as he was the 45th president of the United States, and now the 47th president of the United States, is Eric Trump.
So Eric Trump is here to talk about time management, promoting from within, marketing, branding, quality control, sales systems, workflow design, workflow mapping, how to build. I mean, everything that you see, the Trump hotels, the Trump golf courses, all their products, the man who manages Billions of dollars of real estate and thousands of employees is here to teach us how to do it. You are talking about one of the greatest brands on the planet from a business standpoint. I mean, who else has been able to create a brand like the Trump brand? I mean, look at it. And this is the man behind the business for the last, pretty much since 2015.
He’s been the man behind it. So you’re talking, we’re into nine, going into 10 years. him running it. And we get to tap into that knowledge. That’s going to be amazing. Now think about this for a second.
But Clay Clark, man, he is one character. That’s a good word for him. Character. Yeah, that is it. Good, driven, smart. And I’ve never met a guy who was so hyper all the time.
He’s doing so much good. And then I met his mother and she just says, She just lets him be Clay Clark. I mean, so, you know, he’s endorsed by his mother and he’s doing magnificent work. So it was great meeting you out there and all the people that he surrounds himself with. His Clay Clark starts his days at five o ‘clock in the morning. Oh, it’s incredible.
Yeah. He’s, he’s like, he’s, he’s a machine. He’s a machine, but his, you know, I could, I have problems with my company starting at nine o ‘clock. Yes. Hundreds of people showing up at 5 .00 AM in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Man, he’s a leader of a leader.
He’s a fantastic young man. No, he is. The lineup continues to grow. And this is how we do our tickets here at the Thrive Time Show. If you want to get a VIP ticket, you can absolutely do it. It’s $500 for a VIP ticket.
We’ve always done it that way. Now, if you want to take a general admission ticket, it’s $250 or whatever price you want to pay. And the reason why I do that and the reason why we do that is because we want to make our events affordable for everybody. I grew up without money. I totally understand what it’s like to be in a tight spot. So if you want to attend, it’s $250 or whatever price you want to pay.
That’s how I do it. And it’s $500 for a VIP ticket. Now, we only have limited seating here, but the most people we’ve ever had in this building was for the Jim Brewer presentation. Jim Brewer came here, the legendary comedian Jim Brewer came to Tulsa, and we had 718 people. 718 people. And I thought to myself, there’s no more room.
I felt kind of bad that a comedian had VIP seats in the men’s restroom. No, I’m just kidding. So I thought, you know what, we should probably add on. So again, if you want to get tickets for this event, all you have to do is go to Thrivetimeshow . com.
Go to Thrivetimeshow . com. When you go to Thrivetimeshow . com, you’ll go there, you’ll request a ticket, boom. Or if you want to text me, if you want a little bit faster service, you say, I want you to call me right now. Just text my number.
It’s my cell phone number, my personal cell phone number. We’ll keep that in mind. Private between you, between you, me, everybody. We’ll keep that private. And anybody, don’t share that with anybody except for everybody. That’s my private cell phone number.
It’s 918 -851 -0102. 918 -851 -0102. I know we have a lot of Spanish -speaking people that attend these conferences. And so to be bilingually sensitive, my cell phone number is 918 -851 -0102. That is not actually bilingual. That’s just saying Juan for a Juan.
It’s not the same thing. I think you’re attacking me. Now, let’s talk about this. Now, what kind of stuff will you learn at the Thrive Time Show workshop? So Aaron, you’ve been to many of these over the past seven, eight years. So let’s talk about it.
I’ll tee up the thing, and then you tell me what you’re going to learn here, OK? OK. You’re going to learn marketing, marketing and branding. What are we going to learn about marketing and branding? Oh, yeah. We’re going to dive into, you know, so many people say, oh, you know, I’ve got to get my brand known out there, like the Trump brand, right?
You want to get that brand out there. It’s like, how do I actually make people know what my business is? and make it a household name. You’re going to learn some intricacies of how you can do that. You’re going to learn sales. So many people struggle to sell something.
This just in, your business will go to hell if you can’t sell. So we’re going to teach you sales. We’re going to teach you search engine optimization, how to come up top in the search engine results. We’re going to teach you how to manage people. Aaron, you have managed, no exaggeration, hundreds of people throughout your career and thousands of contractors. And most people struggle.
with managing people. Why does everybody have to learn how to manage people? Well, because first of all, you either have great people or you have people who suck. And so it can be a challenge. Learning how to work with a large group of people and get everybody pulling in the same direction can be a challenge. If you have the right systems, you have the right processes, and you’re really good at selecting great ones.
And we have a process we teach about how to find great people. When you start with the people who have a great attitude, they’re teachable. they’re driven, all of those things, then you can get those people all pulling in the same direction. So we’re going to teach you branding, marketing, sales, search engine optimization. We’re going to teach you accounting. We’re going to teach you personal finance, how to manage your finance.
We’re going to teach you time management. How do you manage your time? How do you get more done during a typical day? How do you build an organization if you’re not organized? How do you do organization? How do you build an org chart?
Everything that you need to know to start and grow a business will be taught during this two -day interactive business workshop. Now, let me tell you how the format is set up here. And again, folks, this is a two -day interactive 15. Think about this, folks. It’s two days. Each day, it starts at 7 AM, and it goes until 5 PM.
So from 7 AM to 5 PM, two days. It’s a two -day interactive workshop. The way we do it is we do a 30 -minute teaching session, and then we break for 15 minutes for a question and answer session. So Aaron, what kind of great stuff stuff happens during that 15 minute question and answer session after every teaching session? I actually think it’s the best part about the workshops, because here’s what happens. I’ve been to lots of these things over the years, I’ve paid many thousands of dollars to go to them.
And you go in there and they talk in vague generalities. And they’re constantly upselling you for something trying to get you to buy this thing or that thing or this program or this membership. And you don’t you leave not getting your very specific questions answered about your business or your employees or what you’re doing on your marketing. And what’s awesome about this is we literally answer every single question that any person asks. And it’s very specific to what your business is.
And what we do is we allow you as the attendee to write your questions on the whiteboard. And then we literally, as you mentioned, we answer every single question on the whiteboard. And then we take a 15 -minute break to stretch and to make it entertaining when you’re stretching. That’s a true story. When you get up and stretch, you’ll be greeted by mariachis. There’s going to probably be alpaca here, llamas, helicopter rides, a coffee bar, a snow cone.
I mean, there’s just… You had a crocodile one time. That was pretty interesting. You know, I… I should write that down. And I’m sorry for that one guy.
We lost the crocodile. We duct taped its face. So that’s right. We duct taped a baby crocodile and duct tape. Yeah. Duct tape around the mouth so it didn’t bite anybody.
But it was really cool. So that thing around. I should I should do that. I should. We have a small petting zoo that will be assembled. It’s going to be great.
And then you’re in the company of hundreds of entrepreneurs. So there’s not a lot of people in America today. In fact, there’s less than 10 million people today, according to U . S. debt clock that identifies being self -employed. So you have a country with 350 million people.
That means you have less than 3 percent of our population that’s even self -employed. So it’s you only have three out of every 100 people in America that are self -employed to begin with. And when Inc. Magazine reports that 96 percent of businesses fail by default. By default, you have a 1 out of 1 ,000 chance of succeeding in the game of business. But yet, the average client that you and I work with, we can typically double the size.
No hyperbole, no exaggeration. I have thousands of testimonials to back this up. We have thousands of testimonials to back it up. But when you work with a home builder, when I work with a business owner, we can typically double the size of the company within 24 months. And you say double the size. Yeah, there’s businesses that we have tripled.
There’s businesses we’ve grown 8x. There’s so many examples you can see at thrivetimeshow . com. But again, this is the most interactive best business workshop on the planet. This is objectively the highest rated and most reviewed business workshop on the planet. I was looking to learn how to take my business, like they’ve said today, from being very successful to being systematic.
I’ve got a very successful practice in three different cities, make good money, just want to take it to the next level with systems and processes to where I can drive my cars more. Paul Hood, been a CPA for 33 years. And what kind of growth have you and your great team had here over the past, let’s say, five, six years? The last five, when I met you five years ago, we were doing three million. This year we’ll be, we’ll do 24 million. And you say, Clay, I still, I’m not going to get a ticket unless you give me more.
Okay, fine. We’re going to serve you the same meal both days. True story. We have, we cater in the food and because, I keep it simple. I literally bring in the same food both days for lunch. It’s Ted Esconcitos, an incredible Mexican restaurant.
That’s going to happen. And someone says, I want more. This is not enough. Give me more. OK. I’m not going to mention their names right now because I’m working on it behind the scenes here. But we’ve got one guy who’s given me a verbal to be here.
And this is a guy who’s one of the wealthiest people in Oklahoma. And nobody really knows who he is because he’s built systems that are very utilitarian that offer a lot of value. He’s made a lot of money in the it’s the it’s where you rent. It’s short. It’s where you’re renting storage spaces. He’s a storage space guy.
He owns this. What do we call that? The rental, the storage space storage unit. This guy owns it. units. He owns railroad cars.
He owns a lot of assets that make money on a daily basis. But they’re not like customer facing. Most people don’t know who owns the mini storage facility or most people don’t know who owns the warehouse that’s passively making money. Most people don’t know who owns the railroad cars. But this guy, he’s giving me a verbal that he will be here. And we just continue to add more and more success stories.
So if you’re out there today and you want to change your life, you want to give yourself a incredible gift, you want a life -changing experience, you want to learn how to start and grow a company, go to Thrivetimeshow . com. Hey, how’s it going? I’m Thomas Crosson, owner and founder of Full Package Media in Dallas, Texas. I’ve been a coaching client with Clay Clark since the beginning of our business. We started about a year ago, August of last year. I had no clients, no idea what we were doing, no clue really what was going on. And now we’ve grown to where we’ve got six photographers.
We’ve got office space here. I have an admin sales person that works for us full time, developing an online system. And a lot of that growth we attribute to Clay helping us. And there’s so many things that, I mean, his stuff is not revolutionary. It’s not this crazy walk on hot coals and all this stuff. Uh, it’s just real, real stuff.
It’s going to be a blasty blast. There’s no upsells. Uh, Aaron, I could not be more excited about this event. I think it is incredible. And there’s somebody out there right now. You’re you’re watching and you’re like, but I already signed up for this incredible other program called smoke your way to thin.
I think that’s going to change your life. I promise you this will be 10 times better than that. It’s like I picked the wrong week to quit smoking. your way to thin conference. That is, I’ve tried it, don’t do it. Yeah, chain smoking is not a viable, I mean it is life -changing.
