This kind of culture, it’s going to challenge you to be the best version of yourself.

My name is July. I’m originally from Canada.  I manage one of the Elephant in the Room salons. It’s the downtown location, so I feel they teach a lot on mindset. And how to look at whatever it is that you may be doing. Whatever position you’re in and whatever your business is. So they challenge me. Everyone that speaks they challenge me on how to look at it instead of being just an employee. I don’t want to be an employee. I want to manage and have rapport with my stylist. I want to be efficient when I’m running this job. I want to oversee everything instead of, “Oh, I’m just here getting a paycheck.” So I want to be proactive. He’s unconventional, he’s refreshing. If you’re easily offended, you might not be able to appreciate where he’s coming from.

The atmosphere is electric. And I feel like no matter where you’re coming from or your background, if you’re plugging into this kind of culture, it’s going to challenge you to be the best version of yourself. The typical conference. I’ve been to typical business conferences. I feel a typical business conference work, let’s even ones I’ve been to in the past are you can only apply what they’re teaching to that particular mode of business. Whereas this is going to challenge you on every level no matter what you do. So I appreciate that. Because there’s a possibility that your lid might be a lot higher than you think it is. That your ceiling might be higher than you realize. And I think it’s good to maybe step out of your every day routine and challenge yourself. Might be a little bit uncomfortable. What’s the worst that can happen?

There’s a lot that you’re going to be able to immediately apply to so many different points of your business.

My name is Tommy Wright and I’m out of Edmond, Oklahoma. The industry we serve is called SIT marketing, odor neutralization. I’m a Partner in business called the Rome Escapes. There’s a lot of information that we’re trying to take copious notes so that we can apply so many great information. High energy level, it’s not like anything else that you’re good at. Experience… very involved. Again, it’s more involved, it’s not something that you’re going to sit and take in information, there’s a lot of activity going on that really helps in the ability to retain the information. For the amount of information in such a short amount of time at these business conferences, there’s a lot that you’re going to be able to immediately apply to so many different points of your business.

I’m Sam and I’m here from Tulsa, Oklahoma. My business is Launch Peak Performance, we provide mental game coaching to young athletes. The nuggets of information that we’ve been given over the last two days has been fantastic. It’d be tough to identify just one or two of those things I can actually apply to my business. The atmosphere is a high energy, it’s upbeat, the presentation style is no-nonsense, so it’s good, it’s great. I think this conference is different primarily because, per capita, there are probably more successful millionaires here in this room, than any other place I’ve been in, so it’s been fantastic. If you want to become a millionaire you need to come to one of these business conferences.

The difference this one’s making is I’m able to apply it right away.

My name is Jerry Jacobson. I’m originally from Lancaster, Ohio. My industry is I’m in sports and we do have a sports ministry here at Tulsa called World Baseball Outreach. We own and operate WPO Sports Center, which is basically a all sport training center. We focus mostly on baseball, softball. When I first started coming here a few months ago for training, I was basically feeling just run over and not connected, and not sure which direction to go. It’s helped me really find direction, and getting my calendar set, my to-do list today, every day set up. So it’s been very helpful to get organized.

Boy, Clay is so exciting and he kind of puts a sense of energy in everyone he’s around, and just love being in the atmosphere that we’re having and experiencing here at these business conferences. I’m excited. Very excited to be here. The difference this one’s making is I’m able to apply it right away. It’s good, healthy information for my business and applies to all different kinds of businesses. But it’s the fact that I can just go home, boom, it’s the next day, apply exactly what I’ve been learning. Why should everyone attend? Boy, they’re going to get … Somebody’s going to get something out of it, because it applies to every business and everybody wants to grow and succeed, and this is the place to come and do that.

It’s contagious and by being here, I really do want to go back and be able to face all the adversity that the industry has.

My name is Nolan Q. I’m originally from San Francisco, California. The industry that I’m in is financial services and the name of my business is [Striving] Financial. I’ve learned a ton so far, but what I could best apply from this conference is the opportunity, that hunger to go out there and make a big difference in my industry. Clay’s presentation style is amazing. He’s got an endless amount of energy.

It’s contagious and by being here, I really do want to go back and be able to face all the adversity that the industry has. Yeah. This business conferences, the thing that makes it different is that it’s special because it has a unique set of individuals that all share that same energy. I think he pegged it as a dragon energy, but yeah, that. Everyone should come to multiple, but their first would be very special. Yeah, you’re welcomed with a lot of enthusiasm that’ll last for a long time.

I’m taking a lot of notes and I’m going to apply some of these tips going into the new year.

I am Stacy Purcell. I’ve lived in Tulsa since the late 80’s. I’m originally from Houston. I work in the recruiting industry and I have a company called the Purcell Group Executive Search, and we primarily focus in the veterinary industry. So we have a DBA as the Vet Recruiter. Today I’m learning some practical tips as we finish out 2019, and go into 2020, on things like search engine optimization, marketing.

Next, after lunch, we’re going to learn some practical sales tips. So I’m taking a lot of notes and I’m going to apply some of these tips going into the new year. High energy, Clay is hilarious. He makes us laugh. So this is my third one of these business conferences. I’ve come the last three Decembers and it’s very motivational. It’s inspirational as we go into the year, like I said. So you learn practical tip is to apply to your business.

“It’s not the pitchy, ‘Hey, there’s something to buy at the end of this.'”

Well, other business conferences usually have some type of pitch. That’s generally what it comes down to. I think here it’s just like, “This is what we do. Here’s some knowledge and wisdom. We’re going to pass it along to you. If you want to be a part of this, then you can, if not, then come again to another business conference.” Or that feeling. It’s not the pitchy, “Hey, there’s something to buy at the end of this.”

Everybody should attend if you’re going to, looking at starting a business or in a business now, if you want to increase your profit by 30, 50, 70%, you’re trying to grow it over the time, you want long-term success. Even just trying to grow the business and even sell it, these guys, they are just amazing. If you’re just looking for networking, this is the place to be as well. I couldn’t say. I would say anyone that’s looking for networking, trying to start a business, or has a business and is trying to make it more successful, this is the place to be. You can’t miss it.

I like how real they are here.

My name is Gabriela Cruz, and I am from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Our business is ECS Electric. My husband’s the owner, but I’m involved with that. So we’re an electrical company. Well, here at the conference they talk a lot about consistency, and so just stay consistent with different things in the business. And I feel like applying that to our business model will really help us grow.

The atmosphere is very positive, uplifting, and then it’s very fun and energetic, and so it gets you pumped and it gets you excited and it encourages you to do big things.

Probably how real they are. They tell you upfront what you need to do and what’s like a no-go. Some business conferences are … they kind of sugarcoat things, so I like how real they are here. I think it’ll definitely … if you want your business to grow, I think this would be a great experience, and then not only that, it’ll encourage you and inform you on so many things you don’t think about on a daily basis.

You get to get involved with all these other people and all the other businesses

My name is Noah Elias, and I’m from Tulsa, Oklahoma. I am in the patriotic industry, and my company name is Stars & Stripes Company. Be able to apply what I’ve learned so far in the business because I’ve gone around all these people, and I’m going to implement what they’ve taught me. Energetic is a good fit.

What makes this different from any other business conferences is it’s very personable. You get to get involved with all these other people and all the other businesses, unlike the other ones where you have to sit and be quiet the whole time.
Everyone should attend one Thrivetime business conference because it’s different than all the other conferences that I’ve been to.
