I’m Terry Glanson from Oslo. My business is wellness business services and I’m a virtual assistant for the health and wellness industry online, so online health coaches, nutritionists within online practice and counselors. That we’ve been learning about SEO, online marketing. That’s really important for the stage that I’m at, also setting up the systems, documenting that and that it’s repeatable and I can bring onto somebody else to help me in the future and it’ll be seamless and a lot easier. Clay’s presentation style is just really relatable, kind of laid back.
It’s really easy to understand and having the group work really helps as well to take that problem and be able to apply, where you can really dig in deep with what I need to work on. It’s different because I really feel like I get a lot of how to’s and a lot of practical knowledge that I can apply in my business.
It’s not a ton of fluff, it’s great to be motivated, but when you go home that only takes you so far, that only lasts so long, so we really do need the ‘how to’ in order to really have a good thriving business. Really, it’s applicable for me, as the new startup, it’s applicable for somebody that’s well established, and there are people that are here that have been business coach clients of Clay’s for nearly a decade. So these business conferences really are a good fit for wherever you might be in your business.
I can tell you this is not going to be the only time I attend this conference.
Hi, my name is Stephen Robertson and the industry that I’m in is landscape management and the name of my business is Robertson Landscape Management. Also we’re starting a new startup company called Living Water Lawns with Josh Wilson of Living Water Irrigation. From the business conference I’ve learned that to be successful, you need to be a diligent doer and actually do what Thrive and the team is asking you to do. But the atmosphere and presentation style here at Thrive is very high energy, entertaining, and very informational. I have never been to other business conferences, but I can tell you this is not going to be the only time I attend this conference. Anyone that is in a business, that wants to grow their business or start a new business, this is a great business conference to come and learn and get real stories from real people regarding business and their successes.

My name is Victoria, and I’m originally from Huntington Beach, California. I’m in insurance and I work for Aflac. Honestly, there’s a lot of things that I’ve learned at these business conferences. One, especially with the sales experience, being able to work with my team and getting them more motivated, and I’m taking a lot of those tools so I can move forward in my business, because we are our own business with insurance.
I think anybody who thinks he doesn’t do it right is a person that doesn’t need to be here because they’re not willing to succeed. They should attend because if they want to succeed, there’s tools that we’ll learn every day. You don’t know everything. So at the end of the day, if we’re willing to learn and try something new, then we’re willing to learn to succeed.
You should definitely attend at least one, just for the experience, and the atmosphere is irreplaceable.
My name is Sarah, and I’m from Tulsa. I’m in the fitness industry, and I’m with Tulsa Fitness Systems. I’m the admin there, so I can apply it with all the calling and following up, and just being persistent. I haven’t been to any business conferences in the past, but I can imagine that this is much different than most of your run of the mill conferences. You should definitely attend at least one, just for the experience, and the atmosphere is irreplaceable.

My name is Molly Clark and I am currently a personal trainer at a local gym called The Hub Gym. However, what we’re looking to do is open up a couples training facility in the Tulsa area. Well, just learning the systems and the tools that we’ve already been given, I think will definitely benefit us as we start our business plan and developing where our next steps are, what we’re going to do. Oh my gosh!
The atmosphere, his power. His presentation style is educating, but entertaining, funny, but you can totally relate. He’s straight to the point but he delivers it just a funny way, it’s not boring. So I don’t get this whole like, looking at my watch, Oh my God, is he done yet?Â
Just going on and on. So he keeps it fun and entertaining. To get the experience, the culture is amazing. The information that he’s putting out is just priceless. So you have got to experience one of these business conferences at least one time. You’ll want to come back. I want to come back.
I think one of the biggest one was that they don’t try to upsell you nothing.
My name is Raul and I am originally from Houston, Texas. Pretty much by being consistent and making sure that I keep up with my leads and my calls to make sure to be calling call-backs. That way I can keep bringing business to my company and helping us grow in revenue. It’s a very, very fun atmosphere and a very direct presentation style. He is direct with you, does not hide anything and the same time he makes jokes out of it. That way you’re not just there listening. He gets you interacted into it. I think one of the biggest one was that they don’t try to upsell you nothing. So pretty much you come to a conference and they give you what you need. They don’t tell you, Hey, there’s DVDs in the bag for you to keep going forward to. Pretty much you come and they teach you what they need to teach you without you having to buy anything else.
This is not like any of your other business conferences. This one you say, you laugh, you interact, and you’re not just there listening and people panning you information. Throughout the time you’re going to be laughing and you’re going to be keeping up what they’re doing and it’s different environment compared to any other business conference you’ve ever gone to.
You’re not bored to death. You’re not going have to have a problem about trying to stay awake.
My name is Jared Johnson. I’m from Owasso, Oklahoma. One industry that we’re in is pest control. We actually do pest and lawn and so the name of our company is Platinum Pest & Lawn. So we’re going to be able to apply what we’ve learned in our business. Number one by doing the group interviews that are mentioned. We have been doing group interviews because we’ve been to business conferences before. In fact, I’ve been business coached before by Clay. That’s really been a game changer in our business. There have been multiple times where we’ve been on vacation and we’ve got a text message that someone quit and within an hour we’ve been able to get a new hire. And so it’s just an absolutely game changer.
Oh the atmosphere here is absolutely amazing. It’s remarkable. It’s different from anything else. It’s very upbeat. You’ve got great music playing and Clay’s presentation style is definitely unique. It’s Clay, right? And so if you haven’t seen it, you got to come and try it out. So this business conference is fun, right? You’re not bored to death. You’re not going have to have a problem about trying to stay awake. And so it’s actually information that’s useful and applicable to really everybody. Everyone should attend at least one Thrivetime Business Conference because if you want to succeed, you got to do it.

And then also with my husband and I in our businesses that I believe that we’ll benefit from it.
 like it. It breaks down barriers and ice-breakers. It’s just comfortable and fun and it’s been exciting. I’ve been in a few that they make me feel stupid. They try to sell me stuff. And they get you excited and then they’ll try to sell you something instead of just teaching you something first. Right? I like not feeling that way. I think it will help their business. Then you can also meet people that are here, create contacts and friends. Just a lot of great information.
