Yes, that’s the, yes, that’s the sound I’ve been looking for. Yes, yes, yes. It is an urgent, yes. I had to get to, I had to add, add some of those emergency noises to create the kind of urgency and the sense of danger had to get the adrenaline glands of the adrenal glands going. My heart is racing right now and you’ve been working here almost a year now, almost a year and we have a business conference coming up here just right around the corner. Today is Thanksgiving and there’s so much to be thankful for. We have a business conference coming up here on December 13th and 14th, and the last conference that you were at I believe was in, um, was it October tone burn?

Did it feel, I mean it felt kind of full. We didn’t have a lot of extra seating capacity. Um, but now in December we have two and a half times more people attending the business conference. It is going to be awesome. We’ve got Michael Levine, the PR consultant of choice for Michael Jackson. Prince, uh, Nike, uh, president Bush, president Clinton, president Reagan. I are just listing presidents. Um, uh, Nancy Kerrigan, I think I mentioned. Ah, Michael Levine. Look him up. Michael Levine public relations. He’s going to be speaking at the business conference and you’ve seen a video. He endorses the business conference. This is his second year coming to it. He’ll be here. The world’s a number one PR guy. He’s the bestselling author. He’ll be here. Matt Klein, the Oxy fresh. He’s our franchise brand developer who you have yet to meet. But we’ve sold 400 Oxi fresh locations and he’ll be here to talk about the growth of Oxy fresh and how to build scalable businesses while Michael’s teaching you about branding.

Um, and then we have Jill, uh, Jill Donovan with rustic cuff who has 127 employees. She’s going to be here speaking about how to do sales and marketing and how she was able to convince Oprah and Carrie Underwood and people like that to wear her [email protected]. But more importantly, Amelia, we have real life success stories attending. Yes we do. And I’m going to read off a few of them and this is homework for you that you have to do this before the end of the day. Okay. So whenever you have a gap, I want you to figure out the percentage cause I’ll, I don’t want to air the actual gross revenue of a company, but I do want to share their percentage of growth. So we’re going to go with a metal roof contractors. These guys have grown, um, this year. If you look at that number, uh, number 20, 19, Amelia versus 2018 if it was 10% growth, that would be pretty outstanding.

You know, cause the average American business, 96% of businesses fail, but they’re up. I mean a significant amount. Um, at least I’ll say 13%. These guys in our economy, which is booming by the way right now, the GDP of our, in our country, our gross domestic product, the growth of our country and it is booming, is 1.9% over the past quarter. Correct. Look up these facts. 96% of businesses fail according to inc magazine. Look, everyone’s heard the story. Nine out of 10 businesses fail, fail. Well, our business coaching clients don’t. Well, clay, yours, you skew the data. You, you fire all the clients that don’t do their homework. That is true. Correct? Correct. I do fire clients that don’t do the homework. So I do skew the data just like the Navy seals will kick you off of the squad if you can’t handle it. I get it. So yeah, the data is skewed.

But think about this. We’ve got a speaker here by the name of Jean breeze who looked at, she has doubled. I guess it would be just a little under double the size of her business this year. Is that correct? Correct. We’ve got ah, Claire’s business coaching clients. We’ve got Brian Armstrong, the builder. Look at that number there. This number here. We’re in the millions now. He has more than doubled, well over doubled. We’re going to put all the percentages on the show notes so you can see the name of the company and their percentages. Accolade, exterior’s these guys have grown from, that’s at least at least a 10% growth right there and we’re not done. This is November homeys homeys gobble, gobble. This is GABA, GABA gala. This right now is, this is, we’re not in Thanksgiving it today. This show right now is going to be aired before you’ve had your Thanksgiving meal and we still have the biggest month of the year. True. These people have already grown. Amelia, when you first started working here and you were telling people, you know, family, friends, neighbors, cousins, whatever, that you are going to work here, what sort of negativity did you encounter or pessimism did you encounter as it relates to working with myself? The Butthead?

Uh, well I heard that you were a cult. That was a fun one. Yeah. Yeah, I recall any that a Colt. That’s true. What else did you hear? Um, that we, uh, I was turning into a workaholic by staying here. Um, dropping out of college was a terrible idea. I would have nothing to fall back on. And

it mentioned not the names of your clients, but the industries that you business coach your clients and what are they, what are some of the industries where you have business coaching clients right now?

Um, yeah, so I have everything from, I’ve got a, a free diving company, snorkeling company in Hawaii. I’ve got a home goods store in Texas, uh, custom home builders everywhere from Tennessee, Minnesota.

And you see, we do, we do a 13 point assessment. First off, Julia and Luke and the team, they vet the dozens of people that reach out daily to be business coaching clients. And they book me as the one to four appointments a week for a 13 point assessments. I personally vet everybody and I don’t want more than 160 business clients in this building. And why is that Juliette? Or what, why that there a million. Why is that? Because you want to be able to know each of our business coaching clients know their names and who makes the path you do and who leads them down the path with the help of us. Yeah. So you guys as the implementers lead them down the path. I make the path that it works. And then we have a team of real people. We don’t have fiber people back here. These are real full time graphic designers, photographers, um, we pay you guys.

I mean you just want a house. True. Andrew, the 21 year old is, could you, could you, could you vouch for me? Could you share what percentage of this of, of his income does do, does Andrew and his wife man. And what percentage of their income do they save? They save 50% of their income. And how old is he? 21 how old is she? Do you know how old she is? I think he, I think he went after the older women. I think she’s like 2323 2324 he just bought a second house. In what universe do people at the age of 21 and 23 by a it is it a nice house is gorgeous. What universe does this happen? The thrive universe? Yes. Another example, your husband works on the SEO team. Search engine team. What was he doing before he joined our team? He was going to school for business.

And you worked at Lowe’s. In what universe could a guy drop out of college and now be the head of a department thrive? And here’s the thing I have, I’m friends with him. I like him. And what university people not hate their boss. Have you ever had, have you ever worked somewhere where you, there’s not a division between boss and like I almost every job I’ve ever had people hate the boss. True cause the boss is an ass face, technically speaking. That’s what happens. So think about this here. We have clients that are growing. I’m going to keep reading and I’m not going to stop today show until I have read at least one fifth of the testimonials. So we’ve got quality services, quality surfaces, countertops. These guys have grown by a million $900,000 this year. So these guys are up, you know, like 30%. Uh, back to basics. These guys are up 27% Kelly construction group up 21%. You understand that the economy, which is booming, huge growth beat, the stock market has gone under the Trump administration from 19,000 on the Dow Jones to it’s grown by a third. Folks. We can somebody look this up or I’m going to look it up. I want somebody. Let’s look at the Dow Jones average today. Dow Jones average

No connection to Emilia, former, formerly a million Jones’ maiden name, but 28,000 we went from 19,000 on the Dow Jones average to 28,000 and we’re growing at a 1.9% GDP 1.9% so we type in the GDP, the GDP, GDP. Are you with me? Oh yeah, we’ve got a church thing going. Oh yeah, GDP. The GDP right now is up 1.9% for the third core. There it is. You can see right there. This is for the government up 1.9% that means there’s four quarters in a year. That means that the average business that’s growing is growing at an 8% rate. Our clients, all of them are growing at 30% 50% 40% up, best buy window treatment. This guy’s up 75% Cheney construction up 14% which seems small, but it’s a bigger number. It’s harder to grow as a percentage when you’re, would you believe, would you believe this, a thrive nation?

This year I was. I was doing the math last year that wrap up the year and last year we grew our business coaching clients by two point $3 billion last year. That’s a lot. That is a lot. Considering 96% of businesses don’t grow. Think about this. We just keep winning and winning up here. We’re winning a lot of winning. Ah, mobile turtle. We didn’t know. We didn’t know their numbers. This is the first year in our program. We don’t have any data yet. We can’t, we can’t share CT tech. This guy has gone from, he’s doubled the size of his company. Guys, Lake Martin, mini mall, homeboys up 15% and he’s a, he’s a mall. He’s a retail guy. He’s gonna make his most of his money in December. Papa gallows is already up 15% for the year. We’re going to be up probably 50% for the year folks, maybe 35 to 50%. The chiropractor, dr Jay, he’s up 15%.

Um, DaVinci an it consulting firm went from a start up doing a, we’ll just say a very little amount of money to now they’ve grown 10 times this year. They’re 10 times larger. I mean, um, mud scenes. This guy landed an account with the Oklahoma city thunder. He’s doing sets and backgrounds for Disney. We got one of our business coaching clients out there, Samson lighting, just did all the lighting for LA Reed’s personal party, LA Reid. You know the guy who introduced the world to Toni Braxton and into baby face and RNB music. It’s crazy. I mean, it is amazing the kind of of growth that’s out there and I think we have a lot to be thankful for. We have a lot. Um, hood CPAs has almost doubled the business this year. Cola fitness is opening up two additional locations. They’ve grown from one location that these people were officing out of a house, $115,000 house.

And now these guys are going to be opening up their fifth big box gym. You want to talk about wins? Let’s talk about, uh, Aaron anti-ice. He’s coming to the meeting and talked about it. He’s grown from 37 million to over 80 million it Shaw homes.com. And we’re, we have all these wins and you might say, but clevis, how do I know it works? Are you kidding me? What do I need to do? What do I need to do to convince you that you have what it takes to be successful? What is why? Why Emilia to people think they can’t be successful? I don’t understand it. [inaudible] helped me bridge the gap cause I’ve been living in my own universe that I’ve created now for 23 years where I make a goal, achieved goal, move on. Where’s the world gets stuck? What’s going on? I think a lot of people try and make it more complicated than it needs to be.

And so when it’s symbol, they don’t believe that it can be that simple. Raul, a, you came to the, the group interview, I believe you came to the group interview. Let’s get him on a micro quick. You came into the group interview and you don’t even work here right now. It’s, you’re not even officially a, we don’t know. You might say, I hate this place. I’m never coming back giving me back my audio. Give my OD my audio. But you’re or you might come back, but have you been to a couple of interviews or one interview or what’s your, what’s your story? I actually came to two interviews. I came to the first one, never got called back and then I got the fraternity, he came to the second one and we eat that microphone. Like it’s like, it’s like a corn dog that you’re fascinated with.

Okay. So you came to a couple of interviews, you didn’t get a call back, you’re saying? Yeah. And you came again? Yes. And now you’re here shadowing. Yes. What was the interview like? What’s it like to work at? What’s it like to see the people working up here? What is it like? I just want to know, cause I’ve been in my own Disney land that I’ve created, you know, as a kid I remember hearing about that never, never land thing. And I’m like, I’m just going to build that. I’ve had that thought though. But can you talk about what does it like on the outside looking in here? Cause I’ve never really asked somebody who doesn’t yet work here. That question. So the interview was completely different from any I’ve ever gone. Pretty much people came. And you were the one asking questions, you’re the one interviewing the company.

You were the, the potential candidates were interviewing me. Yes. How was that different for you? What were you thinking? It was very different. I was thinking I was going to come in maybe a one one on one interview. And you’re trying to think of like the best way to answer. Like what’s your biggest weakness? Yes. And you’re going, Oh, I know what I’m gonna say. I’m gonna say I’m too, I’m too organized. That is pretty much too humble sometimes. I mean I don’t, so again, what does the energy like to explain the decor, the atmosphere, the whole thing. What does it like? Well it says, I came in, I came in and like put them five minutes. I heard people clapping and giving each other high fives and I didn’t know why. And as I got to meet Ben, he started telling me that every single time something good happened or something was closed or deal was signed off, uh, people just walked around and gave each other high fives.

The atmosphere is very chill. It is very motivational. There is people walking around talking to you. Um, it’s not your typical office sitting down in your little cube. It’s pretty much you looking around, watching people motivate other people and do whatever they need to do to make sure that their end goal gets reached a million. Have you ever had a, worked at a business where the owner of the business, um, has a stated goal to get his client on good morning America and then actually does it? No. No. I can’t say that I have, but Josh was living water. We got him on good morning America recently. These are all very, we just got them on the Kelly Clarkson show. Let me hit play here. This is Josh on the Kelly Clarkson show. I, cause I again be worried about people that don’t ever, um, provide evidence about what they’re saying.

There’s a lot of people that make claims. It’s so easy to be a Charlotte and you know, you get a photo with a celebrity and you’re like, Oh look, this is me hanging out with LeBron James. You know, LeBron doesn’t know who you are. You paid for some VIP thing and now all of a sudden you’re LeBron’s partner. You’re his friend. I trust me. I’ve seen that game. That’s a charlatan game. You, you know, you open up, maybe you get asked to speak at some rally where president Trump is, and now all of a sudden you’re Trump’s partner. You’re, it’s this is, this is them on a,

no, it was a big shock. We thought we were just doing him a Skype interview and then they turned it on and it was Kelly there. And so we weren’t expecting that at all. Oh, that tells a couple is trending this morning. They’ll be on the Kelly Clarkson show today because of this mysterious billboard scene all over town. Look at that. Yeah. Josh Wilson, owner of living water irrigation, put up the love message to his wife and it attracted the attention to Kelly’s show. Here’s a sneak peek.

So Amy, how did you react when you first saw the billboard?

Oh goodness. Well, I was really a little overwhelmed at first, then I’m a little more shy and reserved, so it was a little more than, and then I wanted, but after a while I got used to it and realize it was just a really sweet gesture.

Showing up all the other husbands. This is good that we step it up. I know we got to stop. Th

w we could go on for days and we should because it’s, you know, 96% of business people fail. And if you go onto Fox news today, we’re going to find negative things. Yup. CNN, negative things, true radio, negative things. I think we should take our, our mind is what the mind is fed according to the book and the magic of thinking big. The mind is what the mind is fed according to Proverbs, which is, uh, an interesting book. It’s called pro verbs. It’s a book in favor of action. Some people don’t know that pro verbs. It’s in favor of the good things to do. It says you’re supposed to surround yourself with wise counsel. Now I don’t expect you to be a Bible scholar. Um, although you have read the Bible before. Um, could you, I’m going to read this to you a million. You tell me what this means in your opinion.

Okay, here we go. Uh, it says Proverbs 13, 20 Proverbs in favor of action. It’s not a book just about Epiphanes. It’s about action. It’s not a Ted talks. It’s implementing what you’re learning. Knowledge without application is meaningless. It States walk with the wise and become wise for a companion of fools suffers harm. Proverbs 1320, what does that mean to you as it relates to working in this environment? By working with wise people, I will also become wise versus if I were to hang out with fools, then I would do hang out with Amanda bloomer. She’s a great lady. She not, she’s awesome. I really do like her. And I, I see a lot of couples that struggle to find another couple to hang out with because of the infinite shadiness of the human condition. You know, 75% of employees steal from workplace according to the us chamber of commerce, 85% of employees lie on their resumes according to inc. There’s this, a lot of shading that’s going on there. And so would you, how would you describe the coworkers up here?

They’re great. They really have become really good friends of ours. We hang out with them outside of work. Um, it’s become like a family to us because they share our same values, our shame, our same ideas or same goals. We can bounce ideas off of each other. It’s become like a growth relationship.

And, uh, is your last name Gonzalez, is that your last name was Hernandez. Hernandez. Mr. Hernandez. Come on in, Mike, real quick here. And it’s be kind of weird if you have, we have just enough mix to make it happen. This is like Motown. We have more people than Mike’s. We’ll make it happen. That’s where our business coaching clients are going to naturally there it is. Otherwise it’d be cognitive dissonance if I was telling you how to grow but we weren’t growing or if we weren’t helping, we have to help our own team. I don’t want to grow the number of business coaching clients. I’m talking about helping my teammates become better people. And so we’re talking about wins. We’ve got a lot to be thankful for. We got a lot to be thankful for. But I also want this to be a transparent show where mr Al wool, you can ask Adrian any question that you have or Amelia about working here because who knows, you might not want to work here and you could ask anything at all, but I just want you to ask whatever you want to ask because that way the listeners can benefit and go.

I was thinking that too. And there’s gotta be something that you want to ask. And what, what do you, you got, uh, did you ever regret coming here from the start? Oh, that’s good. Nope, not, not one time. I think a lot of people though, when you are telling your family, they’re like, what’d you learn at work today? That th that that’s a, that’s a question that no one ever has in the whole world. Seriously. But after you’ve worked here for a while, they start go, what’d you learn? Did you learn? And then they want to argue with it because a member, there’s 330 million Americans, 16 million of which start a business, but 96% of which fail. So you understand you have a 0.00193 chance of being successful in business. So they’ll go, Oh Amelia. So, um, how does, how do the search engines work? Have you tried explaining that to family members or maybe not know your family, my name, neighbors, cousins, people, you know, does it go over well?

No, no, no. When you explain to someone how the group interview works, does that go over well? Nope. What about automating your savings? Has that gone over well? Not so much. What about, what about this Bible verse here? Walk with the wise and become wise for a companion of fools suffers harm. This is a deep thought because it doesn’t have a disclaimer. Now, this is how the Bible, we want the Bible to be written like this. This is what we want. This is the politically correct version of the Bible. This what we want it to say. Proverbs 1320 walk with the wise and become wise for a companion of fools suffers harm unless you’re there, your family, because blood is thicker than water, so hang out with jackass, family members and nothing bad will happen to you. That’s what people want it to be. We want to change that. We want to change it to say, walk with the wise and become wise for a companion of fools suffers harm except for your friend who’s a jackass who makes you poor because of their constant life drama signed the updated Bible. Hands down the positivity. Uh, if you come from an environment of positivity, it ramps it up. He come from a environment of negativity. It is a one 80. Some people say to me, clay, your meta time. What do you do during that meta time? Well, what I do is I usually put on headphones because otherwise do in the office think I’m weird and I don’t mind if they think I’m weird. I just don’t want to have a conversation about my weirdness. Like I, I don’t mind being weird, but I don’t want to like, Hey, why are you doing that? Cause you know, so I throw on some headphones. I always listened to TD Jakes and then I usually listen to one praise and worship song that is about how I want to be. But maybe I’m not there yet. You know what I mean? So this was the song today. I’m going to cue up just part of it and I just want to all listeners maybe take notes. Think about this. Cause your business probably isn’t growing yet, but it’s going to be, and this time next year, this is how you’re gonna feel, but you gotta it’s gonna take a year of sewing seeds.

SI. You’re not going to reap a harvest if you don’t plant the seeds. That’s true, right? Haven’t been perfect. I can agree with that show. Been faithful. Heaven, faithful. I do show up every day. God has a purpose. Even though I curse a lot, I’ve been faithful. I know he’s a seed in the ground. No more stressing. Oh, see, in 1999 I had the idea to start DJ connection in my dorm rooms. We all do it, and in 2002 I want to be a millionaire, but from 30 to do once I did it, both started the company hit my financial goal. 2006 I’m going to teach other people how to do it. It doesn’t six I had that idea, but what else? Started coaching businesses for free. Just pay a percentage of the revenue and now it’s 2019 and we’re growing businesses by billions.

It’s working. There it is. Everything is working together. Here it is. I remember specifically listening to the entrepreneurs on fire podcast with John Lee Dumas, thinking I’m going to put out more shows to him. Eventually I just passed 1800 shows. He’s got about 2200 but he just invited me to be a guest on his show. December 11th you’ll hear it. He’ll fire.com biggest podcast in the planet. Crazy, huh? Yeah, that’s right. I just feel like you listening right now in a nonreligious sense. Need to have some faith that you can do it in a religious sense. The Bible talks about how God is good and Satan came here to steal and destroy. So procrastination in my opinion, it’s like it’s a satanic thing and action is a satanic thing. Gossip is a satanic thing. Rumors is a satanic thing hanging around idiots. As I say, tannic thing in my opinion, cause I do believe the Bible to be literal and Satan came to kill and destroy and God came to help. Bless. But at the end of the day, if you don’t believe that, that’s fine. Just don’t come to my business conference. But the point is we have a business conference and we’ve got now seven tickets left today. Seven, seven now seven, seven couples. That’s 14 after that, I’m happy to start telling you now and don’t make me actually tell people no cause I don’t want to. I’m sorry I lied you. There’s six, six couples left. So we have 12 tickets left. Cause once you get over 300 he gets all crazy.

He’s leaning. You want to do it, you want to attend, but you’re busy, right? You’re busy being busy, being broke, busy, being poor, busy watching the boys. But you know, I mean if you look in a picture, I mean it’s like five out of seven screaming and that picture up there in the top right, every single person in that picture screwed me, all of them. And let me count the ways the guy off to the far top right.

This man actually had an affair with a bride to be on the week of her wedding because he found out that he was going to be doing, uh, entertaining for her wedding. So they reconnected and they had an affair. True story. The guy next to this guy stole money, just cash the guy next to that person had an affair with some, I had to fire him. He cause you can’t have an affair with one of my employees. You know, when the other, when their spouse works here, you can’t do that. Not a move. Then the guy next to him started coming to compete with me by, he answered the phone, thank you for calling DJ connection and they’d say, yeah, can I book a DJ on June 5th? He goes, Oh, we’re all booked out. But I know of a good company and he’d refer himself. That happened.

The guy in the middle was a youth pastor who got kicked out of his church for having an affair. The guy next to him got busted with methamphetamines. The guy next to him, uh, left last minute after working with me for five years. Uh, the guy next to him, uh, committed, horrible, bad, bad acts while being drunk at wedding receptions. That happened. The guy next to him, uh, embezzled money, the guy next to him is a bad person. So all I would say is that you could see there’s reason to lose hope, but I have to decide, am I going to be the candle in the world of darkness? Are you going to be the candle or are we just going to be part of the choir preaching about how bad the world is?

Come on. You know, you’ve got to decide that because are you going to be the candle? I mean, if Martin Luther King jr was waiting for Martin Luther King, jr Martin Luther King, jr would have waited a long time if Abraham Lincoln was waiting for Abraham Lincoln, he had been awake waiting for a long time.

Abraham Lincoln’s wife wasn’t against slavery. Did you know that? Oh yeah. Here’s the what we learn through repetition. Have you heard me talk about Emilia in our meetings? What are the four ways? What are the four things you have to do to get to the top of the Google search engine results? What are the four things at most? Google reviews. Yep. Most canonical compliance. Yep. Mobile compliant. Yep. And most content. How often do I talk about this? A lot. How often do I talk about the group interview? A lot. It’s called neural pathways. And your brain has to create a kind of a picture, like a ditch. And the more times you go over the same thing over and over, the more you learn it. That’s how you learn. Remember how you went to college. That’s how you don’t learn whatever they did at college. Don’t do that. Well you learn through repetition and you probably had to hear that what 20 times before you got it.

Yup. And now it’s easy. The group interview, it’s easy, easy. You run the payroll for elephant in the room now it’s easy. It is. That’s how you learn is through repetition. You say, why do I need to listen to this show every day through repetition and we tend to try to learn through superstition, through intuition, through fiction, through feelings, through Ty Lopez videos, through MBAs, through things that don’t work. But we learn through repetition. So I’ve got to do is I’ve got to make sure that everybody knows the words to the song. I can’t move on cause this is, this is an important thing.
