STORY TIME – Most of the DJ companies that competed against me were started by former employees. In fact, DJConnection.com is in multiple states now, but at the time one our most tenacious competitors was guy by the name of Keith. He was a former employee, who I had to fire for doing a terrible job at work, for being late every day and for constantly doing a poor performance at work. I taught him how to DJ as he previously worked at Chick-fil-A. After getting fired he started his own company, and yet people in my office remained friends with him and even invited him to their birthday party. Although, I forgive him that party let me know who my friends were and who they weren’t and the people that are the friends of my enemy are my enemies as well.

Yeah that would shock anyone that you, the 75 % like we talked about earlier, how many people are going to screw you and then literally three out of four people? That would be the number right I would. I would as a business coach ask this from your career. I can you share with me example of where you’ve been screwed, the most me an example. You said man that why I got screwed, I’m exhausted. I have some hot takes here, but I would like to get your perspective because you are the mortgage guy. I mean total lending Concepts, you’re known as sort of like V go to resource for mortgages in Tulsa. At this point, but I mean have you ever been just totally taken advantage up to the point where you thought wow, I cannot believe it’s always. You have to laugh or cry: it’s like that was pretty epic yeah we’ve had you know employees, especially when you have employees that I guess probably maybe think they’re entitled to something or to a certain pay rate, or we talked about people calling in sick right people That just you know kind of try to leave you high and dry.

It is not our many Arab friends. Our enemy is a radical network of terrorists and every government that supports them Steve. Have you ever seen it where you’re not being attacked directly by the person but you’re being attacked by people who are sponsoring the person is attack. You’Ve ever seen this before you’re not being attacked directly, but somebody else is encouraging them. Do it to attack you, and I think that happens. A lot more than people know that it happens. When you don’t really know the you know, there’s always a y behind the. Why cuz I like, will how it how and why is this happening, and when you know you really dig deep, I think you’ll find out that that the your enemies are different than you think they are just like George Bush says I mean it’s, not your many Muslim friends, it’s so radical network of terrorist that are supported by Deborah. The DJ companies that competed against me. When I was growing DJ connection are former employees. Employees became competitors, not shocking at all. That’S actually the move that’ll help people do one of our most tenacious competitors was guy by the name of Keith, and he was a former employee who I had to fire her for doing a really terrible job at work. Some sales marketing that kind of thing and after getting fired, he started his own company and yet people in my own office continued room to be to remain as friends with him. They continue to remain as friends with him and they even invited him to their birthday party. So I was invited to the birthday party. It was invited to the birthday party if current employees of yours or inviting somebody who is screwing you to their party. Absolutely you do it’s, I don’t know what goes through someone’s head were. They think that I’ve had employees before that. I’Ve literally like had this sit down, and I might like your loyalties – lie with a person that isn’t working here anymore right but shouldn’t they at some level lie with the person who, like right, your paycheck every month is my mindset and maybe the thrivers. Maybe you can write this down and you can grab them with it all week. Maybe could think about it. This is my mindset. If the enemy of my enemy is my friend rights of the person who hates my enemies, my friend, then a friend of my enemy is my enemy. Anybody at all who’s, a friend of my enemy, is an enemy. So, although I forgive them, I definitely did not react well at that birthday party about 7 years ago, so I’m at the business coach birthday party and this guy that I have fired and it was started a company that’s competing with companies. I currently own, and you screwed me while I was working for me – is now screwed me after he work for me Keith. He actually is invited to a party by a current employee. How much would that irritate? You Steve? I mean I am a like you. You know, 7 years later, a little older and wiser. You know he would learn some stuff, but they my seven-year-old ago self. What if I was just say that the visibility of my irritation would have been a lot more. I’Ve learned, I’m almost 37. I was 30 at the time my 29 and the guy made a statement about my wife, it’s the night, and so I physically body slammed him to the tech, and I I didn’t punch him, but he slammed into the back and I’m like. Okay, I got to leave, but I did the profundity of the concept that you would actually invite somebody to your birthday party.

Do you work for me you’re, an employee on my team and you invite somebody who’s competing with us to your birthday party. I don’t care how close they were to in the call center. That’S a problem, because the enemy, the person who isn’t that the person is a friend of my enemy. The person who was a friend of my enemy is definitely my enemy state. So how long do you think, or can you tell me how long it was before that friend of the enemy was no longer an employee about 6 months? So for him exactly exactly the action items, I would encourage all of the drivers to take right now. If you have found yourself in a business coach place where you’re asking these questions until you’re saying how can I trust people after I’ve been screwed as a manager or as an owner, these are the six steps one. You have to schedule a time each week to ask yourself who are my known enemies to you, have to schedule a time each week to ask yourself who is helping my enemies Steve. Why do you have to ask that question? Because that might change and that people that you, that previously were not helping your enemy or producing weren’t right now are because you’re more information. You want to schedule a time each week to listen to your team’s coach Falls during the week Steve. Why do you have to listen to your team’s phone calls? Well because of accountability, because otherwise people will go get off script, they’ll change the rules that you were just had this happen, and I told you about it. We had somebody that literally just stopped following the system that we had and we went to found out if we didn’t have accountability in place, to make sure that those things were found out. So it happened one day. One day I found out the next move. For you want to schedule a time each morning have a 15-minute business coachhuddle with your team schedule time each morning to have a 15-minute tunnel with your team schedule, a weekly all staff meeting and six never stop recruiting candidates.
