  • Be intentional about who you spend your time with

Oedipus Complex – (in Freudian theory) The complex of emotions aroused in a young child, typically around the age of four, by an unconscious sexual desire for the parent of the opposite sex and wish to exclude the parent of the same sex.       3. Electra Complex – The Electra complex is a psychoanalytic term used to describe a girl’s sense of competition with her mother for the affections of her father. It is comparable to the Oedipus complex in males. According to Freud, during female psychosexual development, a young girl is initially attached to her mother.
