Show Notes

Why do Clay Clark’s business coaching clients grow on average above 30% per year? It’s because the system works. Clay calls members of the Thrive Nation to ask them to share the results and the success that they are experiencing as a result of diligently implementing the proven processes, systems and strategies that he PERSONALLY has spent 22 years creating.

All right. Thrive nation. On today’s show, what we’re going to do is we’re going to showcase diligent doers, real entrepreneurs out there who are really implementing the business coaching system because the system works on a daily basis. Those systems work, which is why we’ve been able to build 15 multimillion dollar companies. But you see, it’s not about learning the systems and the processes and not implementing. It’s about learning what to do and then actually doing it. So on today’s show, we’re going to give you nothing but the hits. Nothing but real entrepreneurs who are having real success as a result of diligently implementing the proven system. Do we help them implement this system? Yes. Do we teach them the system? Yes, but again, nothing works unless they do so big. Shout out to the thrive nation out there. Thank you guys for being diligent doers and for implementing the system.

Well, I just don’t need no more sleep. What you need is more dry. You need more focus. You need more execution. Execution is worshiped. Execution is the only thing that matters in business. Not sleep only execution.

I am representing the leadership initiative along with the thrive time show and here we have Stuart Weikel. Hello Stewart. Hi Claire. How are you doing on this wonderful day? I’m having a good one. Okay. Well Stewart, I want to ask you a couple of questions cause you have been with our business coaching program for almost going on three months. Okay. And I just want to ask you some questions of what’s been going well. Um, but sir, what is it that you do and where are you currently located? Okay. Uh, I’m in Austin, Texas and uh, the company is called accolade exterior’s. We are a window, a dealership, and we install what we sell. So windows, patio doors. We do a lot of, uh, replacement work. Uh, we also do other exterior work like siding, paint and things that kind of go along with. Okay, great. And you started the coaching program back in November, correct?

Yes. Okay. And how was it that you got into coaching? Like was it through a workshop, a business conference, or how did you, so I, I came to the, the October conference, uh, in late 2018, uh, and I had gotten there through, you know, some friends, it turns out that I knew people involved from, from long, long ago, but that’s not really how I ended up there. But, uh, I, I was sitting in the conference and, and kinda the, the takeaway, the immediate takeaway was, was that, you know, when we talk about a B, C players, um, I had kind of let myself become a C player, B player and my own business. And, uh, it was a just pretty startling, you know, realization that I’ve gotta I gotta step it up, I gotta be working harder, I gotta be working differently. And uh, yeah. Okay.

And, um, so how has the business coaching helped you up to this point? Yeah, uh, it’s helped me take a different perspective. Uh, I had gotten in, in this business, I bought the business. Uh, it was an existing company. I rebranded it. Uh, I had a lot of things in mind that I wanted to do. This was in, uh, at the end of first quarter 2017 came in with energy and excitement, what have you, and you know, was out of corporate America before and had entrepreneurial leanings bents and what have you. And you know, it’s a simple business on the surface, but it’s anything but simple. The get it done well. And it’s just what I didn’t know at the time. Every day was a new realization and, uh, it’s just a lot harder to own your own business than I ever imagined now. Now I know.

Uh, so, you know, from a, from a time standpoint there, when I first came to the conference, I guess it’d been about a year and a half that I had the business and I was, I was reaching a point of just frustration and not really having, not having the success that I’d hope for. Um, and, and just kind of losing steam, really, really getting into a, a frustrated place where I wasn’t effective. And, um, you know, I wasn’t doing what I knew I needed to do, but there was just so much to do and I was just, I was stuck. Um, so business coaching, you know, it’s an obvious thing you need, you need help, you need somebody to, to, to kind of, you need advice, you need guidance. Cause it’s really, you know, being on your own. Um, it, it’s a lonely place and, and, um, it helps to have somebody who’s helped others through the same sorts of things that you’ve been going through.

Um, it forces you to just take a different perspective and, um, you know, the, the, the real frustration I think for me was that there was just so much that I wanted to get done and wanted to do, but going through it in an orderly way and being deliberate and measured about what we’re gonna tackle now, um, that really helps. The coaching is a lens, I guess, uh, to, to look through and to kind of view your business through, you know, another set of eyes and it just forces you to have a different perspective. You’re not lost in your day to day. Yeah, absolutely. And Stuart, what would you say have been some specific wins being coached? So time management is a big piece of that. Um, you know, one of the early emphases in the, in the program is, you know, how are you spending your time being very, um, um, plan oriented and action oriented.

You know, setting aside the time you need to do to get meaningful things done. Um, so that’s been a, when there’s a, you know, I’m getting up earlier, I, you know, part of my being frustrated was I wasn’t really getting to work early enough and getting my day going. Uh, so, you know, that’s a win. I’m more productive just by virtue of being accountable that I’m gonna run my day a different way. Um, it’s helping with, um, uh, you know, just life too outside of work. Uh, my wife came to the second conference, we came back for, uh, uh, the December conference and having her there, um, kind of hearing the same thing and onboard with me, it’s really helped, um, kind of share the vision and, and, and the priorities. Yeah. Um, and then from a business standpoint, you know, we’re, we’re seeing, uh, leads wake up, you know, historically, this business has been really, really slow in January and I was coming out of 2018 not momentum wise where we wanted to be, and I was really worried about being, you know, just stuck and dead in January.

And we’ve, uh, we’re working on our revenue, but, but we have a lot of opportunity and it’s more than we had last year at this time. Awesome. And so that’s amazing. And Stuart, what would be your encouragement to someone who’s thinking about coaching or even yeah, who’s thinking about, well, one of the things that I really like about this program, uh, is that it takes something that I was already spending money on that was actually pretty, pretty. Frustratingly wasn’t getting me what I wanted. Um, but, but, you know, there’s the SEO service, there’s the, the uh, you know, the, the, the digital branding and digital piece of it. That’s a lot to get done. Um, so I’m able to take that cost that I was already spending and for not a whole lot more add on this really, you know, a key thing that’s forcing me to, to work differently and causing me to, to, uh, you know, run my business in a much tighter way.

And so I think it’s a great package. Um, and I’m excited about what we’re doing. You know we’re about to get into the real nitty gritty on the digital digital side and I’m looking forward to having a website that actually kicks off leads and opportunities like we want. Absolutely. Let’s do right. Thank you so much for your time and good luck getting that Google review. Maybe two. You should go for a to a number of seats today. Got my own work. Got Stuart. You are. Thank you Claire. Thanks so much and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day. You too. Thanks a lot. Bye. Bye.

I attend the world’s best business workshop led by America’s number one business coach for free by subscribing on iTunes and leaving us an objective review. Claim your tickets by emailing as proof that you did it and your contact information to [email protected]. Hi,

my name is Christina [inaudible]. I am the owner and operator of Angel’s such autobody and detailing in borne Massachusetts. Um, we have been working with rive and their coaching for say eight to nine months and it took us about six months, five to six months to get on the top of Google. Um, and with their help with the website and marketing, um, and the SEO and retargeting ads with Google and it has been phenomenal. We just have light and day business coming in, phone calls coming in, uh, walk, walking referrals. It’s just through the roof. And we couldn’t be happier at the moment. We are up 50% this year from the previous year. And not only is that part of our own hard work and diligence, but also with the help of thrive and what they’ve done for us and getting us on the top of Google and you know, all their knowledge and business coaching. Um, and yes, so super grateful. Super pumped to see what the future holds for all of us. Thank you.

Hello, thrive community. I’m Krista. Hey Suz companies break out creative. I wanted to tell you a little story. First of all, I came across thrive last June or July, sign up, up on board. And, um, we’ve worked together for the last six or seven months. Let me tell you what’s happened in last six months. We’ve number one, implemented a comprehensive shop calendar scheduling all of our jobs. Number two, entered time tracking productivity worksheets for every person, which everybody could see, holding everyone accountable to the team. Number three, we’ve implemented an incoming lead tracking system for leads that come in every week, every month. So we know what’s happening in every stage of the lead cycle. Number four, we launched a website, a website that’s generating some good results for us. And then last but not least, where we’re at now is, uh, we’re doing SEO and where we’re beginning is with Google reviews.

Let me be clear. Um, we began with one Google review and figure it was from the owners, the previous owner, mother, we’re at 82 reviews on Google right now. All of them five star. So what’s happening, we’ve doubled our incoming lead tracking our incoming leads. Number two, we just set a record for the biggest January we’ve ever had. Uh, we’ve set records for the best day, the best week, the best month, the best quarter, and the best year, last year and year to date. It’s only January 30th. We’re up 59% over last year. That’s what’s happened. Now a guy like me, very, very arrogant and very, very, um, hesitant to hire a coach after all. We all know it all, don’t we? So what I will tell you is that everybody does need a business coach. What I will tell you is it’s working. My team is more engaged, we have more leads, we’re making more sales and we’re on the verge of doing something special. So this is breakout creative. I’m Krista. Hey SUSE. Thank you very much. Robert Clay marshal, the whole thrive community. Appreciate you guys and look forward for great things to come. Thank you very much. Have a good day. This month we did two over two times as much business that we did last year. We had 208% of our last year’s numbers in this month. My name Tony Serenas

and I’m owner of complete carpet.

I’m Nathan Sabrina’s. I’m owner just gathered with her, do, she does a lot of our management and call leads and connecting with the customer, you know, all Rebecca back in advertising and I do pretty much all the service connected directly with the customer. We started working with thrive in, um, I think our first meeting was the end of October. So really November was our first full month of working with thrive.

I here it’s just uh, increased and customers. Um, we’ve just been really busy. We’re definitely learning how to manage this growth and to continue to move forward to expand our business.

Um, one of the big things I’ve seen personally is that I’ve been doing this for 20 years and um, I thought I knew how to do things and I thought that I was just like, this was the best that I could do. And thrive has shown that there are some best practice ways and other avenues that you can get things accomplished without having, um, without running into the same brick wall over and over. They say, well look, here’s this door, here’s this other opportunity. Here’s another way to accomplish the same thing. And those tools have helped free up one tremendous amounts of time to where I’m, I’m now focusing on the business and not just always working in the business, but also to be able to stay connected with our customers. To be able to give them a little bit better experience, um, to bring in Google leads, to bring in connections to where all of our regular advertising we already had.

We have changed some of the main or basis of our advertising. It’s just now become affected in it’s working where before it was just kind of hit and miss of what we could accomplish in now. Um, we’ve, we doubled this months, um, revenue compared to last February and we really haven’t changed a lot except we made everything affective. We made everything work. We stayed on top of our customers and, and really without the thrive system, we’ve, um, we, we hadn’t figured it out on our own yet. We needed somebody to, to kind of guide us, show us what it was that we didn’t know we didn’t know yet. And that way we were able to start connecting the dots through things that we thought just didn’t work. And we said, no, it actually work. Here’s the, here’s the process to do. And I said, I don’t know. I don’t, I don’t know if it would work in every week and come back and say, look, see it’s working. And then that snowballs into motivation of saying, I can do this, I can accomplish things. And um, and having that person there each week, having that meeting, that accountability, the ability to track what it is that you’re doing, somebody else who, who cares at all about what’s gonna happen in your business besides yourself has made the completely turned our business around.

For me personally, it feels like the win is knowing that we’re moving forward, we’re doing what needs to be done for the business and that we have both someone that can guide us to do that, but also the accountability of it.

Um, connecting with what she said. I think that, um, having that accountability each week has been a huge things really connected but, and a specific goal oriented. When we started with thrive, um, we were looking to do about a 50% growth we thought. And at our first meeting he said, ah, I don’t know. And I said, you know, what’s your big thing? What? Like, what’s a big push for you? I told Marshall, I said, you know, I would love to see 50% growth. I really don’t think I can do it. I haven’t been able to do it yet. And we are four months later. And my goal right now, each month is actually 60% growth. And this month we did two over two times as much business that we did last year. We had 208% of our last year’s numbers in this month. And so I, to me, that’s one of our biggest wins is the fact that we’re, we’re exceeding by leaps and bounds. What I originally started when we thought, I thought it was setting a really audacious goal of saying, you know what? We’ll increase by 50%. I had a 12 month window saying annual in 12 months from now, I hope that we’ve increased by 50%. We’re four months in. I’ve increased by double, I’ve increased by 208%. And it’s just, um, that to meet that, that makes all of this work

worth it.

Well, my name is Daniel Daniel’s heating and air here in Amarillo, Texas. Uh, the way Google has affected my business, uh, we have got a lot of calls from Google right now it’s July and we’ve had the best month ever and it took us about eight to 10 months to get on top of Google and I’m glad we did.

My name is Tyler Hastings and this is my wife Rachel. And our company is still wrecked research out of new Orleans. Uh, during our time working with thrive, we’ve had numerous successes. Uh, when we first started we were working with one physician. We had one research site and we were seeing on average, you know, between 10 and 15 patients a week, um, since working with thrive in the last 18 months. And we now have four research sites. We work with over five physicians in on average pronouncing over 60 patients per week. Um, recently we’ve been the top enroller worldwide and seven studies, um, which is just incredible considering where we were, you know, two years ago, 18 months ago.

Thrive really differs from the other conferences that we’ve been to and the other kind of programs that we’ve been through because they actually really practice what they preach and they implement the same systems and the processes that they teach you about and they give you real life examples that it really worked for them and show you what the training, um, how to implement that yourself. For example, Tyler and I actually got the opportunity to come out to Tulsa and we’re fortunate enough that the thrive team took us out to some of the businesses that they own and we really got to see in real life, real time some of the systems and processes. And it was just incredible. Um, a real life example of some of the businesses and the things that they’re implementing.

Having a coach is important to us. Um, they act as not only an accountability factor, um, but there’s someone we can talk to on a daily basis as we go through the problems of running a business that inevitably come up. Um, they, they always understand what we’re going through and they’re always there, uh, to, you know, help us or guide us through the problems that we experienced. The best part of our experience working with thrive, um, has just been seeing our relationship grow. So at each step, as our business grows, so we know that they have something else to provide us with. Um, they, they’ve got the resources, whether it be marketing, graphic design, website development, or even into our accounting practices. Maybe we need a new insurance policy if they have someone they can connect us with or you know, they have the direct, uh, resource we need to speak with for any of the problems we face. If someone’s thinking about signing up for the business coaching program, I would highly recommend that they call in for a free 30 minute business coaching session.

My name is Joe lye and I’m with Kirkpatrick and wire orthodontics at Kirkpatrick and law orthodontics. We create beautiful smiles by straightening kids’ teeth and adults teeth. The services that clay and his team provide, um, would be something like how to get more, uh, customers into my business and get the message out that on the best orthodontist and Tulsa, uh, mean he does that by social media. We get the word out through videos and pictures and being just top of mind awareness as you would always say. Also, uh, how to reach out and create that bond with my referring doctors. Um, he helped me kind of get somebody in house to go out, meet doctors and helped me kind of continue building that relationship while I do the work. Um, website and the websites. So majorly important. Uh, we get several patients through our website and what he’s doing is he’s, uh, there’s a certain whether you want your website to look in certain content because you want call to action items in your website.

And we didn’t have that before. So now we get seven or eight new patients just through the website alone client. His team are, I would just say they’re over the top. I mean, nothing is too big. Nothing’s too grand for clay and his staff and his team. I mean, he says boom. He really means it. I mean, they over over deliver really to be honest with you. Um, and they come up with ideas that are just top notch. And if you don’t like something great, move on. He’ll figure out something that works for your style and your identity. But, uh, I would just say the biggest thing for claims, as soon as they over-delivered, clay and his team help kind of create that culture also for your business that Hey, we got to get things done in a timely manner, uh, and holds me accountable to do the certain tasks so that we can create things in a timely manner.

So there was a sense of urgency that he creates. Um, just, and it’s a lot of, it’s just through his and through the ASM. Um, he’s always on the go. So it kind of puts you on that same mindset of, Hey, let’s get this done. Let’s work hard. But it’s also have fun with it. When I went to orthodontic school, we got zero training on marketing. Um, actually when we got out of school, when I got out of school, uh, 18 years ago, it was kind of taboo to actually do any marketing. The most you could do is put your name in the, in, uh, yellow pages. And so now it’s pretty common knowledge and pretty mainstream to go ahead and get your name out there, tell everybody your story, who you are, what you’re about. Um, if you don’t do that, you’re, it’s a leg of your business that is gonna F that you’re lacking behind cause you can be the best orthodontist or the best whatever.

But if people don’t know that, then you’re going to be, you won’t get the customers coming in. I meet with clay and his team. I’m on every Friday about 11 o’clock. And um, to be honest with you at the beginning, I wasn’t that thrilled with it. Coming in every week just kind of seem like a lot. But for me, I find the marketing aspect interesting. Um, I enjoy it. Um, I love working with clay. I think it’s main reason why I’ve kind of built a relationship with him. Uh, I kinda think it got to level now. We’re pretty good friends and so, um, ish to me it’s enjoyable. I really enjoy, uh, the creativity and how when you put the energy into it and the work into how you know, you get everything kind of comes back and it works. I’ve worked with claims team for about, I think it’s about three years and every year this has gotten better and things have grown.

We had a big champion dry. That’s all we need. Cut, start competing on stuff. Ready to fire all of us. Come on now. Now let’s go. We ain’t done. Oh guy. Perfect. Alright.

Dr Breck talked to me about, um, since you’ve worked with Tim the last year and a half, two years, that a year, but a year over year now, what kind of changes have you made and how has it impacted your overall profitability or growth? Well, I’m happy to report that, you know, December of 2018 we had our highest grossing month, so I’m super excited about that, ever, uh, ever. Whoa. That does, or you know what that deserves.

Oh, good. That’s a winner though. Dr Rexall running a sales record here. I

knew here, I know you. How is it possible? He’s a diligent doer. So what kind of practical changes have you made? Oh, man. Um, well, we had to look at our

price structure. So, you know, we have to, we have to be honest with the value and what it costs to deliver services and we can’t continue to give away services, um, you know, for free or, or losing money on them. And so that was one of the big steps. Uh, we also had to get rid of toxic employees, um, or even contractors. In our case, the massage therapist, uh, are self employed contractors. Um, but

little warning about therapists, by the way, the only difference between the rapist and a therapist is a space. Yeah. Just think about it. Okay. Back to you. That reminds me, Sean Connery on that and right live right now. Okay. So some other changes you’ve made this year. What other changes you made? [inaudible]

I was nonexistent on, uh, on our SEO. I mean literally was, was, is non-existent. I mean, you may have found me if you put my name in exactly spelled correctly, you might’ve found me on like 20 pages back.

Got it. But now you’ve got all the content, all the tags, all the Google reviews. Yeah.

So that all started from scratch and we now have a like 257 reviews and we’re climbing the Google search engine each day.

Uh, I was doing a, a, um, a search for you. Uh, was it yesterday and I think you were over two 50, only pull it up real quick. [inaudible] two 57. You’re right. 257 Google reviews. And so are you, are you having people that are finding you online now? Yes. And that’s it. That’s a nice new thing. You know, people come in and I’m like, Hey, I saw your reviews. Are you, are you up 10% more than last year? 20%. What percentage are you up now? We’re, we’re up. Um, so it fluctuates a little bit, but, but I mean literally from like a year and a half ago to now we’re up double. Double. Yeah. Now have you, um, have you fixed your, have you changed or improved your sales scripting or your sales processes that we have? Yeah, we very, uh,

intensely went over a lot of, uh, scripting and things. Um, but then also we do, um, we do have a no brainer offer. Yeah. And so the conversion aspect of that to go from, Hey, this is all free to, I do expect you to pay me at some point. Um, getting a better conversion script for me to work from a has also been very helpful.

And then you have from an HR perspective, hiring people. Uh, I’m not going to put words in your mouth, but most people, most clients we’ve worked with, most doctors we work with before, uh, business owners before they come into our program, have a hard time finding good people. And then after they’re in the program, that’s usually not a problem anymore. Right. Um, is that the case with you? Are you doing good on finding people or how have you changed your recruitment?

So just before starting, uh, working with Tim, um, we had to, we had some change up and some, you know, some people left on their own accord and I’ve got a, we’re about to have that conversation anyway, so it worked out a nice timing. Um, but uh, yeah, so we’ve brought on some great people, um, in the last year and, uh, and now we’re, we’re operating from a totally different way of thinking about, with not being held captive and, and a hostage in my own office. And how do you feel now? I mean, you do, you and your wife does it, does it feel better? Do you feel have more pride about the business now that you’re more profitable? Absolutely. Have you noticed a difference in her eyes to really, yeah. I mean I’ve, I’ve been a doctor for the last 15 years, but uh, you know, to be a successful doctors kind of a a little better.

And so I needed the actually like tangible action steps like give me a task to do today that I can, I can put my hands to work, um, on doing that. But I mean I had to borrow money from family members. Yeah. Thank you dad. Um, big shout out to your dad. I owe you. Um, but uh, yeah, I mean it was tough on my wife. Uh, she’s a school teacher and we were, we were living paycheck to paycheck every month. Uh, trying to Rob Peter to pay Paul. Got it. And not fun. Not fun at all. And you’re a doctor, your chiropractor. Yeah, it’s embarrassing.

My name is Elizabeth Walker. I’m the owner of nook and cranny, home keeping. I first heard about clay on the radio on 1170 K FAQ. I was just switching through the radio stations and I heard them talking and they were kind of funny. So I hung around a little bit. Clay’s team has impacted my amount of internet leads through Google. We have skyrocketed our reviews and we just have people calling us almost every single day saying they found us on Google. So it’s definitely broadened our horizons and our client clientele. But we also have people that find us in other avenues and I always direct them to our Google reviews. The typical interaction during our weekly meetings is fun. It is accountability. It’s uh, an hour of hard discussions and a lot of learning. It’s, we try to laugh. Um, I always share concerns I had during the week.

The team always asks me what I need help with and then they help me, they help put me back on track where I need to be. Every business owner needs clay Clark and his team because they put a path out in front of you, a proven system of success and then they coach you along the way. They don’t do it for you. They don’t hold your hand. They just stand right beside you. They cheer you on the share with you what you need to hear, whether it’s good or it’s bad or it’s what you want to hear. It’s what you don’t want to hear. Every business owner needs that accountability next to them, that proven person next to them that can keep them going. Most people think that they don’t need a business or marketing consultant because human nature tends to say we can do it all and sometimes we believe that or maybe people are prideful and they don’t want to ask for help or I’m not really sure.

I believe that one of the smartest things I’ve ever done in my whole life definitely in my business is hiring clay Clark and his team. Somebody is missing out on years and years and years of experience if they don’t hire them. You can either make mistakes in your business because you don’t have the experience, so you just go out there and you make mistakes or you can have somebody next to you that has been there. They’ve done that and they can give you a heads up. You’re going in the wrong direction or they can give you just that wise advice that says maybe you should go in this direction. That’s what they’re missing out on. They’re missing out on years of experience that they have not gleaned to themselves.

Welcome to the box, my friend. Thank you. Thanks for having me. How have you, how have you been doing the last couple weeks? I’m doing great. Two weeks, I think. Maybe I know I’ve missed you. Yeah. Well, any highlights this weekend so far since I last saw you. We did go on a vacation, so that was great. Went down to sunny, Destin, Florida really? And uh, the wife and family, we had a great time, played in the beach. I got sand in all the wrong places. Oh. Um, but uh, yeah. And then we’ve also been looking to hire a new office manager. So we’ve been going through the group interviews. We were fortunate to have about 250 applicants and uh, we’re down to a, a slim five that are getting, when did you shadow, when did you launch the group interview process? Uh, two weeks ago. So in two weeks you’ve already found five good candidates. We have eight. You’re doing what? What process are you doing? The group interviews that you recommended us do that, that you’ve, uh, talked about many times here on the radio. Um, and so we put out a, uh, a post on Facebook and indeed and uh, the same posts were in both places. And um, I don’t know if it was how it was written or if there was just, I feel like the job market’s really strong, but we had a lot of, I, a lot of candidates love this.

This right here is perhaps my favorite story of the week. Stop. And think about this for a second. What would happen if your company was suddenly able to generate exponentially more quality sales leads? That would be incredible. What would happen if your company came up at the top or near the top of the Google search engine results? Quill. I would just feel overwhelmed with all that. Pissed is how many thousands of dollars in lost sales or millions of dollars in lost sales are you missing out on? Simply because your potential customers can’t find you when they go online to search for the products and services that you offer. Stay tuned. How would you describe coaching experience with chop for all of our listeners? And so Chuck can hear that. How would you describe that relationship you have with Eric butter? Chop.

Well I, you know, I appreciate you giving me this opportunity clay. Cause I would, you know, I’m amazed at how well you guys match up your coaches with your clients. Cause I feel like Eric has just been perfect and, and, and, and the, the way that he has helped me the most is he is my coach, but he’s also treated me like a teammate a lot and said, man, you can do this, you know, keep going and yeah, it’s tough but, but hang in there and, and it’s, he’s, he’s just really good. I mean, he’s, he’s, he’s just been able to, uh, come alongside me where I’m at and challenge me to be better, uh, at the same time, uh, keep me, keep me encouraged. You know, it’s like our personalities are a lot of like in, you know, sometimes, sometimes he’ll chew my ass, but sometimes it’s, you know, it’s, you know, he knows what I need that day, so I appreciate it man. And, uh, since you give me this opportunity, I just want to say happy birthday Chubb. Appreciate it.

Thank you brother. Yeah. So for the listeners out there who are sarcastic, captain sarcasm, who’s listening and he goes, that is great that you like Eric as a human and that you guys have a comradery that he’s helped you. But what specific wins have you had? Um, how has it been? Search engine optimization? Has it been increased sales? Has it been a, a rash of complaints? I mean, what has been the big my recipe or just what are the big tangible benefits you’ve seen since working with Eric chip?

Well, one big one is, um, we have seen, since I started with you guys to start with Chubb, we have seen a 59% increase in new customers. Wow. Uh, you know, in the last year over over the previous year, a 59% increase in the number of new customers through our door. So then that’s huge.

The average American business grows at a 3% rate if they don’t go out of business. According to Forbes, eight and a 10 businesses go out of business. And the average American business that is in business grows at a rate of 3% according to the gross domestic product. So 59% Z. I’m not a huge math guy, but I take [inaudible] he’s a normal size at this point. Any numbers that means you’re growing at 19.6 times faster than the average American business. 19.6 what other wins have you experienced?

It’s been huge. Just the, you know, the, the, you know, teaching me how to do a checklist, you know, teaching me the basics of uh, you know, Google sheets, you know, just, just real basic stuff. I mean it’s kind of like clay when you interview people and you say, Hey, break down your morning routine for me. You know, what exactly do you do to get your day started? Will chop us, help me with the basics. Okay, this is a Google shape as a Google document, you know, this is how you do it. This is how you set up your task list. This is how you set up the company task list. And you know, I needed that cause I’m not a tech guy. You know, I can work hard and, and all that. But you know, all of this stuff is really new for me and he’s just been great at being practical and showing me detailed steps of how to get it done.

He hasn’t gone in there and done his done his a exercise where he asks you to metaphysically picture yourself elevating your sales. He hasn’t done that one yet, has he?

No, not yet.

We actually stopped doing that. You’re saying no,

but seriously, I, I, that’s the one, I just wanted to let the listeners out there to know who, who are unfamiliar with what we do. We get in there, we meet you, we figured out your biggest limiting factors and we help you a blow them up. You know, we help you figure out what’s causing you not to get the sales. Is it internet marketing? Is it, is it hiring? Is it firing? Is it accounting? I mean Chupp you find the problem and you solve it.

Yeah. Guy. I would say two big things that, uh, we also helped you out with was breaking down your entire company into a workflow. So as far as from left to right when the customer interacts with shepherd automotive all the way through that followup call. Um, that was, that was a huge one. And then also just understanding the fact of all of these P these systems are not person driven. They need to be PR position driven so that now you can begin doing group interviews, you can replace people and you can not be hostage to your business. And that’s what we’re really working on right now.

So you’re doing the group interview, you are doing the group interview?

Yes. Yes. We are.

Just curious, just out of curiosity, when you interview 10 candidates, say 10 or people RSVP, they’re going to be there for the interview, how many of them actually show up to,

well usually what [inaudible]

one.

I want everybody to take a moment to do a Google search for body central. Just take a moment. Um, if you’re listening on your phone or some other kind of device, just just take a moment. And Google bought body central therapy. Tucson, that’s body central therapy, Tucson, Arizona. That what you can understand that this is a real business, a real person. And, uh, without any further ado, now back to the buddy central, a testimonial, the body central story. This is Jennifer explaining how the thrive time show business coaching program has impacted and improved her overall quality of life and the growth of the business dramatically.

Wait,

Jen, it’s Robert Redmond calling and, uh, we’ve been working with each other for a while now and so I wanted to ask

you few questions, uh, get your feedback. Oh, first of all, can you just [inaudible] product, introduce yourself and then tell us about your company and the size of your company [inaudible] and all that. Sure. So I’m Jennifer Allen. I co-own a physical therapy. The company. We have eight locations in Tucson, Arizona. Soon to have nine. We have 115 employees. Um, it’s been growing like crazy. Okay. Um, and um, that’s, that’s kind of it in a nutshell. That’s pretty impressive. That’s great. And how long have you been though working with, with, with me and with thrive. Okay. So I started with the [inaudible] online platform. Okay. And, uh, got so much value out of that. I came out and did a, um, one of the workshops, which was fantastic. And um, after that signed up to do the one on one coaching, I’m with you starting in, uh, March of 2017.

Okay. Uh, so we’ve been working together since then. It doesn’t even seem like that long. Two years. It’s gone by fast. Yeah. Two years. What are some, like the practical changes but you’ve been able to make by, uh, working with a one on one coaching program over the last, last two years here? Yeah, so some of the things that we, we’ve done, um, one of the things was the first thing we did was the website development where I had, you know, the basic website that was just, yeah, pretty much just informational. And now we have lead generation happening on the websites actually like getting live leads from the website. Um, so that was number one thing that we did, which is, which has been a game changer for us. Um, and then as part of that website development, using online advertising to drive people to our site.

And then further convert them off the website. So that’s been great. Um, part of that also has been a SEO optimization. Um, you know, learning how to do that and um, you know, become number one, uh, in Google, that’s our thing where we are pushing that hard Oh, quite festival with that. Um, so those, yeah. Okay. That’s kind of how things went with us. And then from, you know, from a personnel standpoint, our hiring process, you know, being in Tucson, Arizona, we don’t, I have a lot of access to physical therapists. We have a hard time getting physical therapists to move here and with changing our hiring and recruiting processes and having a system for that. And for me to do that myself, my team, Oh, without having to hire a recruiter and pay them a percentage of the salary, uh, that’s been a huge game changer.

Um, you know, I hired 12 physical therapist last year. Well that’s unheard of, but, and these are, these are, these are people with doctorate degrees, doctorates, gotcha. There with degrees. Um, so that’s been a really, really good thing. And we’ve also implemented group interviewing system for our administrative personnel and yeah, that has been great too. So you know, that turnover in those, yeah. Level positions as administrative positions, Oh. Tends to be high in the medical industry. So being able to constantly have good candidates in front of us and being prepared if somebody moves or somebody decides they don’t want to be a front desk person anymore. Um, it’s been really great. We’ve been able to [inaudible] ah, get somebody good right away and we’re actually getting higher quality candidates because we’re not just hiring the first person that comes off the street to fill that position. We’re not in that panic mode anymore.

Um, we’re ahead of the curve so we’re able to pick and choose [inaudible] the best candidate for the position. Yeah. I remember you sent me a video once and you guys have like 50 people or your group interviews. Yeah, that was a big one. Yeah. So we, we run from anywhere from 20 to 30. 30 was a good group for us to manage. Uh, but we did have a 50, 50 couple people show up for that one group interview. That’s awesome. That’s awesome. W w what are some of the ways, uh, you grown, you know, there’s a lot we’ve done, but, but how have you actually grown since, since you started working with us? Yeah, so I think, you know, personally my biggest growth areas have been in, uh, people management. Um, I’m not sure a softie that kind of lets people walk all over me.

And, um, prior to this training I had a hard time holding people accountable and not feeling bad about it. And so I, I, I feel like that is the biggest change in me personally. And it’s given me more confidence and dealing with just everything that I deal with on a daily basis with work. Um, being able to hold people accountable, let them know what their expectations are and not feel bad about saying, Hey, this is what needs to be done in this position and you’re not doing it, and what are we going to do to, to get you there? And yeah. And, um, I think as I’ve become a better, um, a better business owner in general because of it. That’s awesome. And then, well, how was it, how has the company grown working with us or what have your numbers look like over the past couple of years? Yes. So if we look at it gross, I mean, we’ve basically doubled that in the time that we’ve worked [inaudible] together. And um, and as far as personnel, we’ve doubled that and we’ve also doubled, uh, almost yes. Doubled our number of locations since we started working together. And that’s still on, eh, on an upswing, uh, trajectory. So I don’t see us slowing that down at all. Um, yeah, it’s just been, does crazy growth

all the way around. Yeah.

Those systems work, which is why we’ve been able to build 15 multimillion dollar companies. But you see, it’s not about learning the systems and the processes and not implementing, it’s about learning what to do and then actually doing it. So on today’s show, we’re going to give you nothing but the hits. Nothing but real entrepreneurs who are having real success as a result of diligently implementing the proven system. Do we help them implement this system? Yes. Do we teach them the system? Yes. But again, nothing works unless they do so big shout out to the thrive nation out there. Thank you guys for being diligent doers and for implementing the system.

When we went from expecting maybe 250,000 this year to where at 400,000. Hi, I’m Kelsey with candies. Wooder finishing a business owner at 23. So I’ve been working this K knees company for about five years now and we started working with thrive not too long ago. Um, and we went from expecting maybe 250,000 this year to where at 400,000, that’s what we’re going to hit or exceed. So we’re pretty excited about that. Uh, it’s been pretty much just listening to what they have to say. Their hiring process has just really been incredible as far as finding good quality help and the, uh, just the accountability of meeting up with them weekly and, uh, like such good insight. Uh, the resources that they have for specific business questions. Ah, it’s all been really incredible. It’s been a great experience. So I’d recommend this to anybody.

Um, it’s the smartest thing you could ever do. Um, you know, but I always warn people before I, I’ve actually sent people over. But you have to sell out. You have to believe in, and when you do, you will see amazing things. It’s, it’s, it’s been a game changer, really has. And I recommend it to everybody. I mean, everybody needs it. I don’t care. I mean, there needs to be a, an employee coach, to be honest with you. Um, so it’s, it’s an amazing journey.

Chop, I’m going to let you have the final word on this, but I will just say we have a coaches meeting every single day with all the business coaches and that coaches meeting starts. Typically I’m at 6:00 AM on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Every, every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday it’s at 6:00 AM right. And on Mondays it’s at 7:00 AM correct. The purpose of that, Kevin, is to have wins of the week two. We start off the meeting by sharing wind’s anybody, any client that had a big win, we want to share in their success. The second is if a client is stuck or they’re unable to execute or get something done, we want to as a team, as a, as a family, as a coaching program to uh, discuss where the client’s stuck and figure out the best plan to help them get unstuck. And that’s why I’m in each, each of those meetings. And I also help make all the paths for all the clients. And Eric has had nothing but great things to say about you. And I hope I just want to ask you this before I give Eric the final word. Is your wife a fan of Eric? I mean, or is your wife happier now? I mean, is he really making your wife crazy now? How are things, how are things going now? Is, is your wife a fan of the coaching program?

She, she’s a a hundred percent fan of coaching program. Uh, actually, uh,

yay.

Worked in the coaching program for about a week until I fired her. Um, um, I learned real quick. That’s just we’re going to keep a church. [inaudible] they separated but

well, so it’s real. That’s real. That’s real. That’s real tall. We’re keeping the church and the family separated and so with that, uh, but is she happier overall? Like me by 1% or

Oh no, I’d say, um, I’d say at least 50%.

Oh yes, yes, yes. Ms. Lewis,

it’s me. [inaudible]

Oh, of course. No, no, no. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He’s an Adonis. But

a long stories, you know, it’s just simple things. You know, I’m able to, uh, as she puts it, communicate better now cause I’m not thinking of all this other stuff and you know, it’s, it’s good stuff.

Chop, you have the final word, my friend. Give us a capstone thought about coaching Kevin Lewis and what that experience has been like for you and what makes Kevin [inaudible]

awesome. Well, Kevin is a prototype pro child wherever your poster child for stoicism. So he’s a guy who will come in and say, give me a big wind man. What’s going on this week for this last week for you? You’ll say landed a two point $2 million job. And I’m like, yeah. And he’s like it just another day. And then it’ll come in and say, Oh, I’ve got a competitor out of state trying to come in and steal my people or whatever, and just another day so I don’t have to worry about, Hey, we get lost in the weeds in the coaches meetings. It’s all action on, Hey, what do we need to do here? Some meetings we call up and he’s like, Hey man, I’m rocking and rolling. You good? You need anything from me? Nope. You good? Yep. We’re good to go. Some meetings we get into some weeds about [inaudible].

You had meetings where Kevin has had an employee. Yeah. You had a competitor try to steal your employees. Oh, all kinds of stuff. Yeah, and I do too every week, right? Kevin? Is it, is there not a burning fire every week?

Oh, every week. Yep.

Well, yes, but yet Kevin is stoic, so he’s able to push through that.

Right. The lows are not low. The highs are not too high. He’s just even keel. And so it’s very to focus on those key performance indicators. And actually just like you said earlier, make sure the business is going in the right direction and when the business is going in the right in the right direction and you’re accomplishing your own goals with your family, it’s a fun time. So we have a good time when we meet and we just make sure that things are happening the way they need to happen.

Kevin, everybody out there who’s listening in green country that wants to have a roof put on their commercial building or their residential property, how can they get ahold of you? What’s your, what’s your website and really why should people call you?

Well, it’s uh, Lewis roofing.com and if they want a company that’s going to be honest and do a good job and uh, we’re the company to call, uh, we put our, I put my family name on the business. I’m kind, slim fake name. We are 100% the real deal, not a bunch of sales guys trying to sell a bunch of stuff. We are a roofing company that dues, that’s all we do is roofing

and thrive nation. I’ve, I’ve, I’ve worked with a lot of roofing companies where we’ve done a 13 point assessment with them and it is rare to find a roofing company that we would even approve to coach. I want you to know this. We go through the assessment and probably 80% of the time we’d say was not a good fit. Kevin’s a great guy grinder. He stands behind his program. He puts his name on the website, on the business, on the marketing, on trucks, on everything. Check him out today. That’s Louis roofing, that’s Lewis roofing.com and Kevin, I appreciate you taking time out of your, your day away from your family and your business to uh, share your story here on the podcast and the radio show. Hope you have an awesome day, my friend.

All right, thank you. You have an awesome day too.

Take care.

All right, take care. Bye.

So if I go to dr breck.com, that’s D R breck.com stands for dr breck.com. Uh, what’s, what’s the no brainer offer that you’re making for us today? Well, if you will go there on the website, you click on that schedule now you will receive a free consultation exam and extra all at no cost, no obligation. We just, it’s a, it’s our opportunity to interview with you to come try us out. And if you don’t like what you receive, then don’t hire me. Let’s say that I am afraid of the internet. What’s a phone number I could call yet you can call nine 184-NINE-FOUR-2, six, nine, eight. Was that never one more time?

Nine one eight four, nine, four, two, six,

nine, eight is, is there anything wrong with giving family members of pho job like I’ve, I’ve given family members of job and I’m sure you’ve never done this, but I’ve actually give them a job, right? Sam?

Somebody not to come in. Family members money not to come in money not to come here. Whoa. Let’s see. Family members money not to come here, buddy. Not to come here. Family members’ money not to come here. Somebody not to come here wiggling it to see,

now, look, I want to get your take on this too. For people out there who are stuck and they feel like I do not like my life. Can you relate to that? And maybe where are you at now versus where you used to be? Sure. I, I absolutely

can relate to that. And uh, the biggest shift that I’ve noticed for myself is that, um, I stopped putting everybody else’s needs first, right. And reaction and all of this, right. So, uh, I started scheduling things like I mentioned earlier, um, and just got very intentional with my time and made that okay saying no. Yeah. And you know, actually one friend of mine said, you’re the yes man. You know, you love to help people and you’re always yes, yes, yes. And then you find yourself spread thin. So I’ve started saying no and got intentional with my time. Um, you know, and, and just lost the concern of pleasing everybody else.

Get going by a, I’ll have you introduce yourself, your company, how long you have been running your company and what it is that you do, man.

Oh, okay. So I’m an N who’s, uh, we run a company that, uh, basically, uh, retails online, uh, reveals vitamins and supplements online, but mainly through our website, uh, supplement clinic, buff net. Uh, we’re based out of Miami, uh, and we’re painting business, uh, with this business. Nothing. [inaudible] and, and that’s, that’s why we doing vitamins online.

And you have just had some big wins. Share with us the big wins that you are having a on your website.

Okay. So for, for many years, uh, from Chicago, while, while the way through the typical 17, 18 last year, uh, we had the sites, but the site barely sold one item a year actually. Uh, but we were paying because we want to make sure that eventually we’ll get it done from home. It was painful to see every month the money comes out of the accountants and the side not generating anything. So eventually, um, especially like left last year, we’ll then shut the event. Uh, and starting to apply some of the FCO, uh, nuggets that, that, uh, was presented there. Uh, you know, there, there was a lot of different ones and, and I’ve just been executing some of the ones that I remember for the problem I had, cause I asked her, we’ve discussed, I haven’t even gone back to the book to, to rip my annotations. So, uh, I started to really implement some of the, uh, the ideas, uh, on the SEO, you know, like, uh, like the reviews and the pilot, the genetic tags, the description and the keywords and uh, created the Google merchant shopping accounts.

And uh, and all of a sudden the site is doing how I think we had one month at a site make $3,000, which is like amazing. That’s my shit. And he wasn’t family anything about a year before that. So there were any, in everyday we, we, we, we put in a different thing and then there’s small [inaudible] that I don’t think it’s gonna make a difference. Oh, let me go back here and add more tags or regarding a specific vitamin or something I remember. Or something, some sort of a, uh, ID about a search, a term that I think people would be looking for and I make those changes in and every time I go and make a little bit of a change and this, especially if this week we added like June new items, then we never had them done a website before. Uh, and then the, Oh, I do the same week or the week after that [inaudible] sold, uh, that item.

I think we had like two or three items that we did that and we’re already selling those items on the website. Uh, even before we sell them on Amazon and eBay and all the other marketplaces, you know, decides is actually competing with our other, uh, uh, ads aren’t with other products on the product product, the other marketplace, which is amazing considering our budget can factor all these other places. People are there, right, is not there. So very successful. We feel very successful, uh, and it has generated re real results for me, real results this everyday I get to three sales out of the website and I know why they’ll say as they’re coming through, I know they should be truth. Like yesterday I made a change or I added the board or when I did something. So it’s, it’s, it’s a really fulfilling, uh, you know, uh, to see that because we’re being, we’re been searching for that for many years.

So you, you sell products, supplements all around the world, all over the internet. Okay. You’ve applied the systems and the processes are, are proven best practices that we have up here at the fact I’m show and you guys are seeing results. That’s $3,000 a month. You know, that you weren’t previously having on your site at all that you weren’t selling on your own site. Is that right?

Yes, correct. Exactly. Yeah. And done better in that. The only proves that, uh, even if you’re worth $10 extra or a hundred X of ours now, George grooves to me, I learn on a, on the online business, if you can make a dollar, I’m actual development or not making yesterday, then it’s just a matter of how many extra dollars you’re going to make a, you know, how many that you’re proud of them and then apply that to and make that a, a compound result. So, uh, even if it was a baller, an X hundred dollars, it would still be valid because, uh, if I can make an extra hundred dollars with one product, but if I had all of the 300 products, that’s what I’m generated. So it becomes to a point that, uh, where whenever I find something new that works is just like, we’re overwhelmed by the amount of work we have to do. And Oh, now it has to be all these other products because all these other products are going to get the same results, you know? And that’s a whole bunch of work that I have to do in order to [inaudible] to, to bring all the throttles and apply the same principle to all of them. So, but the principle is what works here. Back to them.

I got one, uh, one more question for you. What do you like the most about the coaching program? What do you like the most, the coaching program, why has that been so effective for you and supplement planet? [inaudible]

well of course the results is, is the main one. Uh, you know, you got to have some sort of results or results for me as a business owner is the number one, but, but what goes into get the results is what caught my attention. Like even today we were talking, we were right. So in many different answers where I talked to different people and stuff, like we’re saying, okay, so we need to change the email. That goes back to the customers from the website, right? So everybody would say, okay, so change the email and that lets you have worse. So on this case, you know, you enter the email, you open up to the lexicon, they may, let’s change the name. So actually tied the Neely may. What it looks like that’s different. That’s you’re actually doing the work. If it’s to somebody say, Oh and it’s the Mercedes, you know, anybody can say that, but I didn’t go back and do it. The step by step of what it needs to do in order to generate, they’ll say, I mean no, nobody does that. That’s very rare and that sort of like today I was thinking as we’re going something, but I was thinking of that that you took the time to go back and actually do it. The steps that I needed to do in order to get the results that we’re looking for. Yeah. Also that’s, that to me is the main, that major difference.

[inaudible]

well I just don’t need no more sleep. What your name is more dry. You need more focused, you need more execution. Execution is worshiped. Execution is the only thing that matters in business. Not sleep. Only execution.

Do we teach them

the system? Yes, but again, nothing works unless they do so big. Shout out to the thrive nation out there. Thank you guys for being diligent doers and for implementing the system.

What I’ve seen from clay in his group at thrive is they’ll give you a simple system and it’s the simple systems are the ones that people can wrap their brain around. They’re the ones that people can work with on a day to day basis. And that simplicity brings power with it. So it shocked me how simple some of the stuff is. And at times I’m like, why did not think about that? Workflow creation, systematic marketing and coaching has helped our church so much. You know, the workflow creation is what it really is, is they’re going to look and see every moving part of your church, of your ministry, what needs to be done, and it’s going to go up on a massive board. And so now what it does is it takes what you know needs to be done out of your heart and out of your head really takes the pressure, the stress off your shoulders and it puts it on the board or your entire team.

Your ministry can see exactly what you want them to do every day. And so they know this is the playbook, this is what we’re doing. And then there’s laser sharp accountability with a meeting afterwards. Did it get done or not tell you? It’s, it’s changed the way we execute as a church so fast and it’s produced really an excitement cause people, people, they want to get done. If they know what they’re supposed to do, a good person wants to get it done. It’s been massive for our team. The systematic marketing, uh, is really been like this in the past. We used to market and we would try something. I’ve done everything, billboards, you know, ads, mailers, uh, internet, Facebook. But we’ve, we would run something for so long and then we wouldn’t see that it was producing the results we want. Instead of staying consistent, we would jump to another horse.

Then we would jump to another horse. And what systematic marketing does is it makes you pick some things and stick with it. Now I’m already seeing a, just after just a few months, you know, I’ve been working with clay since October about six months ago. I can already see just the trajectory going up. People are finding out about us, our number of visitors are going up. I can see the marketing working and it’s just an approach that makes sense. And then the coaching is massive and I think having a coach that looks and sees what you’re doing and can come help you make small adjustments, I believe those small tweaks won’t. Once he gets everything set up, those small tweaks can make massive differences. And a great coach doesn’t even have to play your sport, right? It doesn’t even have to do what you do. A coach has an eye to see things that you can’t see or to see it from a different angle.

And just having that, that extra eye on what I do and just, Hey, have you thought about this? It’s making all the difference in the world. What clay Clark and his team can provide for your church that, that you can’t do in house and I can’t do in house. Well, what’s been massive for me is that that search engine optimization, how to get to the top of Google, uh, taking care of, of transcribing all of our sermons to drive me up the list on Google stuff that I don’t think about and I don’t have time to do. I’ve got all these things I have to do as a pastor, right? I have sermons to preach. I have a staff to manage. I have a budget to take care of. I got a sick folk to see about the, I have a team that has to do that.

You know how it is. You’ve got a married people, you’ve got a very people, we’re never gonna stay in a dark room with the keyboard, optimizing our, our Google of presence and these guys do that kind of thing for you. Also, if you’re at a, um, you know, a couple of hundred member church, I remember how hard it was, but back in the day to take care of the website needs to come up with graphic design and these guys are available to you for, for a sermon slides getting that kind of stuff done where you can have a sharp looking, a presentation of the gospel and it takes it off you and puts it on them at a rep. Very reasonable price. I really believe clay Clark and his team can help a church with limited resources in a big way. I know what it’s like to, to be a church of limited resources.

My wife and I, we walked into a town where we didn’t know anybody. We had a Bible and we just had a few bucks in our pocket and somebody introduced us to a couple of families. We started going there. So I know what it’s like to be a church of to, and I know what it’s like to be a church of 2002 different campuses now, a thousand a piece and everywhere in between. So I I love, I love churches in every level. I believe God wants them all to grow and, and I think about the needs I had back in the day, the lack of direction I had, man, I was working 80 hours a week all the time, but a lot of times I was a shotgun instead of arrive I think. I think when you start you can really hone in with the right coaching. You can get a lot of your different needs met in one place instead of having somebody on marketing and somebody on showing you how to do systems and somebody on graphic design thrive can do a lot of that for you at a very reasonable cost. I think it’s a great place to invest in, in the life of your ministry.

The number of new customers that we’ve had is up 411% over last year. We are Jared and Jennifer Johnson. We own platinum Peston lawn and are located in Owasso, Oklahoma. And we have been working with thrive for business coaching for almost a year now.

Yeah. So, so what we want to do is you want to share some wins with you guys, uh, that, that we’ve had by working with thrive. Um, first of all, um, we’re on the top page of Google now. Okay. Um, I just want to let you know what type of accomplishment this is. Our competition, Orkin, Terminex, they’re both one point $3 billion companies. They both have two to 3000 pages of content, um, attached to their website. So to basically go from, uh, virtually nonexistent on Google to up on the top pages is really saying something. Um, but let’s come by being a diligent to the systems that that thrive has and by being, by being consistent and diligent on, on doing podcasts, um, and stay on top of those podcasts, um, to really help, uh, with getting up on, uh, with our listing and our ranking there with Google. And also

we’ve been trying to get Google reviews, you know, asking our customers for reviews and now we’re the highest rated and most reviewed pet salon company in the Tulsa area. And that’s really helped with our conversion rate. And the number of new customers that we’ve had is up 411% over last year.

Wait, so say that again. How much are we at 411% so 411%. Um, we’re up with, with our new customers. Amazing, right?

So not only do we have more customers calling in, we’re able to close those deals at a much higher rate than we were before. Right now our closing rate is about 85%. And that’s largely, uh, due to, uh, first of all, like our Google reviews that we’ve gotten. People really see that our customers are happy, but also we have a script that we follow. And so when customers call in, they get all the information that they need. A, that script has been refined time and time again. A, it wasn’t a one and done deal. We, it was a system that we, that we followed with thrive in, in the refining process. And that has obviously, um, the 411% shows that, that, that that system works.

Yeah. So here’s a big one for you. So last week alone, our booking percentage was 91%. We actually booked more deals, more new customers last year than we did the first five, or I’m sorry, the first, we book more deals last week than we did the first five months of last year from before we worked with thrive. So again, we booked more deals last week than the first five months of last year. And it’s incredible. But the reason why we have that success by implementing the systems that, that thrive is taught us and helped us out with. So

some of those systems that we’ve implemented, our group interviews that way, we’ve really been able to, uh, come up with a really great team. Um, we’ve created an implemented checklist. Everything, um, gets done and it gets done right. Uh, we, it creates accountability. Uh, we’re able to make sure that everything gets done properly, both out in the field and also in our office. Um, and also doing the podcast, like Jared had mentioned, that has really, really contributed to our success, but that like is, are the diligence and, um, consistency and doing those in that system has really, um, really been a big blessing in our lives. And also, um, you know, it’s really shown that we’ve gotten the success from following those systems. Yeah.

So before working with thrive, uh, we were basically stuck, um, really no new growth, um, w with our, with our business, um, and we’re, we’re in a rut and we didn’t know [inaudible]

the last three years. Our customer base have pretty much stayed the same. We weren’t shrinking, but we weren’t really growing either.

Yeah. And so we didn’t, we didn’t really know where to go, what to do, how to get out of this rut that we’re in, but thrive helped us with that. And, you know, they implemented those systems that they taught those systems. They taught us the knowledge that we needed, um, in order to succeed. Now it’s been a grind. Absolutely. It’s been a grind this last year. Um, but we’re, we’re getting those fruits, uh, from, from that hard work and the diligent effort that, that were able to put into it. Um, so again, we were in red thrive helped us get out of that rut. Um, and, uh, and if you’re thinking about, I’m working with thrive, quit thinking about it and just do it. Um, do the action. Um, and you’ll get the results. It will take hard work and discipline. Um, but, but, uh, but that’s what it’s going to take in order to, in order to really succeed. So we just want to give a big shout out to thrive. The big thank you out there to thrive. We wouldn’t be where we at, where we’re at now, um, without their help.

And now without any further ed, do what?

my name is Sean Klara and I’ve worked with clay Clark for about a year now. I would describe Clay’s, uh, the experience with clay as something that is really unique and phenomenal. Uh, just the systems and processes that they have in place, uh, they help you put in place has been really instrumental in helping us grow our business. Um, it’s been real phenomenal growth this year. The weekly meeting, uh, helps you stay on track, uh, again to follow the systems and processes that that clay puts in place. Uh, for me personally, I enjoy the weekly meetings. It’s kind of like a shot in the arm of adrenaline. Just want to go out there and get after it and work hard and get things done. As far as action items that client is team has provided for us, it’s a action items as far as getting Google reviews, following up with our leads, um, just the systems again that, that everyday grind of doing the same thing over and over and being consistent. I would say partially for me, um, I would say that I would recommend CLI and thrive 15 to anyone. I think what makes thrive 15 so unique is that not only are they your business coach, but I truly feel like a sense of, uh, of partnership there. So I I truly feel like clay and his, his team or a partner in your business to help you grow that business and wants you to succeed.

I started a business because I couldn’t work for anyone else. I do things my way. I do what I think is in the best interest of the patient. I don’t answer an insurance companies. I don’t answer to large corporate organizations. I answered to my patient and that’s it. My thought when I opened my clinic was, I can do this all myself. I don’t need additional outside help. In many ways. I mean, I went to medical school, I can figure this out, but it was a very, very steep learning curve. Within the first six months of opening my clinic, I had a $63,000 embezzlement. I lost multiple employees. Clay helped us weather the storm of some of the things that are just a lot of people experienced, especially in the medical world. He was instrumental in helping with the specific written business plan. He’s been instrumental in hiring good quality employees using the processes that he outlines for getting in good talent, which is extremely difficult. He helped me in securing the business loans. He helped me with web development and search engine optimization. We’ve been able to really keep a steady stream of clients coming in because they found us on the web. With everything that I encountered, everything that I experienced, I quickly learned it is worth every penny to have someone in your team that can walk you through and even avoid some of the pitfalls that are almost invariable in starting your own business. I am dr Chad Edwards and I own revolution health and wellness clinic.

What’s up thrive nation? Aaron Chub here with Roy. We have a little bit of news for you guys and stuff. It’s now what? May 31st at six 21 you’ve been closed for 20 minutes. No, it’s now June, so let’s run the numbers for Malin. Cods totals one Oh two eight 37 what’s the last year to date? One or two? One or two eight 37 this year and last year was 60,006 67. Oh, Oh, Oh, all the weeds on the boat.

I played basketball at the university of Oklahoma and my father was a high school coach. When I got out of college, what I wanted to do is coach. I coached in college for about four years and then I had my son and life changed and my son was terminal. He had muscular dystrophy, what’s called new shins. At the time I was working for a school. I needed to make more money because of bald doctor bills, all that kind of stuff. You got to buy and everything. And so I started doing just a, a side program with score, just doing a few basketball lessons. My schedule filled up at the time, uh, you know, my son was in a wheelchair. It, uh, got to be quite a struggle with him. And so it was a constant fight. Every day of do I work? Do I spend my time with him? How much time do I spend with working? But what I learned from all of it is you still got to get your job done.

Well, I’m not a business owner and I’m probably a terrible business owner a couple of years ago because I had parents tell me all the time, well, I wish I’d known about you three years ago. Well, I had never heard us score. We get that all the time and then doing the finances, doing the just everything that I had to do is eat me alive. It take hours every day and so I needed to get smart about doing my business. All of us need a game plan and thrive 15 has helped me tremendously with that game plan. We changed how I was charging, we changed the programs we’re doing. We changed the advertisement we were doing. We started doing everything smart or the largest basketball facility in this three or four state area. We have people that call us from all over Oklahoma because of our website. My time has been freed up tremendously because I’m not involved in all the little things. It’s just streamlining your business so there’s not taking just all of your time away from your family. Cause I, my wife’s very important to me, my kids, you know, I gotta have some of that as well. And as a business owner, if you allow your business to eat you up when it’s not really worth it, you got to have a value of life as well.

All right. I’m Myron and I own white glove auto in Bixby, Oklahoma. I’ve been working with Eric and drive for the past about year and a half now. And um, ever since I’ve started working with them, I’ve noticed huge growth in our business. Um, uh, for example, uh, you know, year to year comparison, uh, we’re at 97% growth this year. Um, and heck, even, uh, this month, over last month, we’re up 47%, uh, in growth and we’ve seen massive numbers increase, um, just because of Google SEO. Um, and just the efficiency that’s been improved around the shop. Uh, they’ve helped us, um, you know, learn how to put things on, you know, a daily and a weekly and a monthly checklist to help keep things organized and efficient and save time. Um, it’s really helped us out a lot and uh, things are going great with thrive.

And look what he has right here. A checklist. Oh, he’s got his to do list on a clipboard, so congratulations. Like lovely doing awesome man. Both. I am Ryan wimpy and I’m Rachel [inaudible] and the name of our business is keep talking to me. Our business is a dog training business. We help people with behavioral issues and teach their dog how to was when I was learning to become a dog trainer, we didn’t learn anything about internet marketing or advertising or anything at all. Just dog training. And that’s what’s so great about working with clay and his team because they do it all for us for the weekend show, get us on our passion and that’s training. Just clean his team here. There is so enthusiastic. Your energy is off the charts. Never a dull moment. Very great. We’ve been working with clay and his team for the last five months, two of which had been our biggest months ever.

One our biggest gross by 35% please help just make anything from brochures to stickers, new business cards, new logos, scripts for phones, script for email, script for text message scripting for everything. How I would describe the weekly meetings with Craig and his team are awesome. They’re so effective. It’s worth every minute things get done. We’ll ask for beings like different flyers and they’re done before hours, so it’s just awesome. Extremely effective. If you don’t use clay and his team, you’re probably going to be pulling your hair out or you’re going to spend half of your time trying to figure out the online marketing game and producing your own flyers and marketing materials, print materials, all the stuff like that. You’re really losing a lot as far as lost productivity and lost time. Not having a professional do. It just has a real sense of urgency and they actually knows what they’re doing.

When you already have something that’s your core focus and you already know you would also be missing out with all the time and financial freedom that you would have working with train his team. We would recommend clay and his team to other business owners because they need to be working on in their business, not just trying to figure out the online game, which is complex and changing Aly, so no one has a marketing team too. Most people don’t. They can’t afford one and their local web guy or local person that they know probably can’t do everything that a whole team and a whole floor of people can do in hours and not just weeks or months. There is a definite sense of urgency with clay and his team. I used to have to ride other web people really, I mean really ride them to get stuff done and stuff has done so fast here. People, there’s a real sense of urgency to get it done. Great.

Yeah. My name is Keith Schultz and my company has witnessed security here in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the past 18 months that we’ve been working with clay. You know, our growth was averaging pretty close to 10,000 a month on a regular basis. You know, shortly thereafter we deviled out to close to 20,000 and now we’re close to 40,000 on a regular basis. Every month. Clans our helped us increase our sales in every aspect when it to the calls that come into our business, helping us hire people to be able to do that and follow a good script, you know, setting up, uh, the appointments and how we do them when we go into the appointment, the sales pitch and how we do it, you know, and then from then on forth just to SEO and everything he’s done has increased our sales exponentially. Clan’s helped us grow our business and the aspects of our individuals, you know, how to hire people, how to manage people, how to necessarily, uh, organize our business, how to structure, you know, the functioning of our business.

Though we’ve been in business for close to nine years. At that time, clay has revamped everything we do, you know, do a much more better operational business than what it ever was before. We’re going in class a little bit different than what you’d find in most. You know, clay, it pushes you to the point you, you get out of your comfort zone and as long as you continue to do what he asked you to do, you will continue to grow. But if you don’t, then you won’t. We heard about clay Clark on the radio. My son heard it on the radio and medalist Ben listened to it for a couple of weeks and said [inaudible] listen to it. Gave him a call and within a day or so clay gave me a call and we came in for an interview. He’s helped us in our search engine optimization by helping us with the actual, uh, Google ratings when it comes to being placed on the map in multiple locations so that we dominate the industry, you know, on the map as well as organically so that when people are searching and variety of different words, we always pop up on multiple locations on the first page, you know, that of which you did it.

It’s a long process but it works very well. And you know, Google how their algorithms work. It doesn’t change in what he does. So we all, we are always on top, has restructured everything we did when it comes to selling, uh, the security systems, you know, being a local company, we do things quite a bit different. And by doing so and restructuring everything he did and the nine years that I was in business, you know, trying to do it on my own, he came up with a package deal and within less than 10 minutes and revamped everything we do. If you’re looking for coming to clay Clark for asking them to help you grow your business, I can guarantee it’ll be a success. If you follow through with what he says, you know, you have to follow through with what he says in order to make it work. And so you have to come to the table making sure that you’re going to do what he says, be teachable and you will be successful.

This is Kelly [inaudible] with American document shredding and I just wanted to say thank you to Marshall and the thrive team there. Um, you guys have been rocking it out for us. Um, we had 37 and a half percent growth this last, uh, January. And typically that is our slowest month, but not only was it 37 and half percent growth, um, it was our record month ever. Uh, we did over $100,000 that month and, and uh, man, we’ve been trying to hit that goal for awhile, so thank you guys so much. Um, you guys have ramped up our sales. We’ve got a process for it now. I’m just making it easy for us. Um, as long as we follow the deal, be diligent and, and work the plan, um, we just could not be here without you guys. Um, helping us along the way, pushing us when we need to be pushed and, and man, you guys were our biggest cheerleaders and that means the world to us.

Um, especially to me. Um, I’ve, through working with Marshall and the team, um, my wife is a lot better, um, with me, uh, being a small business owner. Um, do you guys have taught me to be a diligent Duer while I’m at work? And then it makes me get home or sooner and I get to have dinner with my family a lot more, which is exciting. Um, it’s just really opened up my eyes to, um, not being a slave to my job because I am a business owner and it’s really helped me get that life plan versus business plan. And I got my business calendar, my life calendar, and let’s see how I can mash them together. Um, no, I, it’s just your life and, and being a business owner, you have to realize that. And Marshall and the thrive team have really helped me, um, become a better person. And so thank you guys. You rock. Have a great day. And boom.

Uh, my name is Ron Curtis. I own Curtis music Academy here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They’re, they’re awesome. I mean, they, they know, they know exactly the steps to take. Um, I think through their business model and the steps they’ve taken in the past, uh, growing their own businesses, um, that, uh, I mean, you can’t go wrong. There’s, they know exactly how to grow a business and it’s awesome to have them, uh, help coach me to do the same for mine. So I was having trouble finding instructors to teach music for our company, and we were just running out of, uh, uh, time for me to teach lessons. And so we just kind of plateaued our, our business at that point. We were able to free up a little bit of time to have other instructors come in and teach. We had, we have implemented a hiring system, uh, to hire instructors and not only that, but also where to find them.

Um, and so we have, we’ve hired some really quality instructors. Um, and, uh, yeah. So we’re just freeing up time and having the ability to, to continue on, to grow new students. Um, yeah, I think, I think the reason a lot of people might be skeptical or maybe not skeptical, uh, uh, just hesitant in hiring a coach is probably just because, uh, they might think that they have it all figured out and they’re doing fine. Like, Oh yeah, my business is growing. We’re doing great. Um, I think, uh, the reason that I would recommend it is because having somebody else as an external perspective looking into the business and how, um, how they can grow the business is going to be really beneficial. So I would absolutely, uh, uh, recommend this to anybody who, who has a business. I think it’s, it’s very, very important to you to grow it. So,

Hey, how’s it going on Thomas crossing, uh, owner and founder of full package media and Dallas, Texas. Uh, I’ve been a business coaching client with clay Clark since the beginning of our business. Um, we started about a year ago, August of last year and I had no clients, no idea what we were doing, no clue, really what was going on. And now we’ve grown to where we’ve got six photographers. I’ve got office space here. Um, I have admin sales person that works for us full time, uh, developing an online system and a lot of that growth we attribute to clay helping us. And there are so many things that, Nope, I mean, his stuff is not, you know, revolutionary. It’s not this crazy walk on hot coals and all this stuff. Uh, it’s just real, real stuff. And like group interviews, we were totally against group interviews. Uh, we were like, no, we’re different and we’re, we’re special and we need to, you know, do one on one interviews so we can find good quality candidates and not just kind of do this group interview thing.

And we tried that and failed this real belief. Uh, we did group interviews. Now we do them every two weeks. Uh, and it’s, it’s awesome. It works good. We always have kind of influx of new people that we can train to go on. Um, he’s helped us a lot with our website. Uh, graphic design. SEO, SEO is another thing that I thought before I started this business and before clay that was, it was kind of a, a joke or you know, some that only your Apple’s of the world and Amazon could get to the top of Google. Um, but clay said, no, just do these things. Um, follow these steps and you’ll get there. And I think now he’s look today and we’re a number two for Dallas real estate photography. We don’t believe that you can look. Uh, so we’re getting to the top of their, that’s really cool.

It’s really awesome to get leads that people will call you and say, Hey, found you on Google. Um, you know, we want to hear about your services. So that’s really great. Um, I’d say there’s nobody out there that’s not a good a coaching client for clay. I mean, you’re anyone, regardless of the business, it’s not about what the business is, what the specialty is. It’s about following the steps. I’m doing what he says. Uh, you know, it’s a good thing an hour a week and it gets you on track and keeps you kind of in line of what you’re doing and what you shouldn’t be doing. Um, and it’s good to kind of give you some flow and future goals of your business. And I remember our first meeting when we set our goals and our goal is just do 16 shoots a week. Um, and at the time, me and my business partner slash girlfriend direction were like, Oh, that’s, we’re never going to do 16 a week. That’s just like crazy. Uh, and today we’re doing,

yeah,

nine, uh, and we did about 54 last week. So, uh, he’s helped us grow, you know, we’ve put in a lot of hours, a lot of hard work as well, but if you follow his steps and do what he do, what he says, there’s a lot of principles that he’s kind of taught and still in us, uh, that help us. So, uh, yeah, clay Clark is the way to go. I wanna interrupt to find someone else that’d be more expensive and a lot more fluff and no, no real actual work and things to get your business growing. So, uh, that’s the way to go. Thanks.

My name is Andy Belgard and I’m the owner of Bogart and sons construction. Showing up top in Google and Google maps has changed my business dramatically. I went from being not on the map to on the map and got $1 million home building deal out of that. And that, um, that covers a quarter of my, uh, yearly revenue. I received the lead for the million dollar job, uh, approximately four weeks after we started working on our Google reviews and, and the maps and, um, increasing our SEO.

My name is Taylor hall. I’m the general manager of the Tulsa Oilers professional hockey team. You know, our goal every night here at the BLK center is to try to fill the seats with, uh, with lots of people, uh, and create a, you know, an exciting environment. Uh, so when somebody comes to a game, uh, they want to come back working with clay and the staff at thrive, uh, they’ve really helped, uh, you know, us in many, many ways. Website and graphic design and video production and a lot of things that go along in a lot of businesses, including ours, doesn’t have a staff for a full time, you know, videographer, graphic designer. But the biggest thing that we noticed was the needle mover. More sales, more attendance. Uh, more successes in business. We had a record year last season and working with clay for the first time, our average attendance is higher than it’s ever been.

Uh, so there was a lot of really cool things that we did and they worked. That’s the nice thing about working with clay and the team over there. It’s just not one person. You get the entire team if you need video, uh, design and editing and production, they’ve got that. If you need graphic design, if you need some coaching your salespeople and call scripts PR, uh, they offer all that. Clay was instrumental in helping guiding us and getting us on the right track so that, you know, we could, you know, really, you know, raise the, raise the bar and become ultra successful. So it has been an amazing experience for us.

Hey there, Cody with Sierra pools and spas, just a few, um, system wins that I’ve had that Marshall and thrive 15 has really helped me with. Uh, one thing, uh, in construction, uh, my construction manager, I mean, he used to call me all the time. Uh, one thing that, uh, Marshall implemented that, uh, that our recommended that, uh, that we have a set time that he calls me every day. Um, you know, he’d call me constantly and I never gave him a time like, Hey, this is when you can call me kind of thing. So he, he’s probably afraid to call me. Um, but I set a time every day at 11:00 AM that he calls me with all the updates and stuff like that. So that, that’s really helped so far. He doesn’t call me as much anymore. Um, so that, that kind of gives them, I made a joke out of it, you know, that’s kind of like our time that we spend together at 11:00 AM every day that he gives me on the updates.

Another system when, uh, that I, I just dreaded, uh, was, uh, calling the clients every day to, um, give them an update on their pool process. I don’t like being called everyday, but some. So I really didn’t like this, uh, this idea at first, but I, I have to say at the end of it, uh, it’s really helped. Um, it’s, it’s really helped me, uh, feel better about the process and definitely helps them, uh, see the vision of, uh, of the project. Uh, and they, they’re always in the know. They always know what’s happening. So, uh, at first I was real hesitant on it, but now they, I see the benefit of it. It’s really help, help. Um, it’s really helped our process and I don’t have to feel stressed about, you know, the clients are going to be angry at me. They always know what’s going on.

So it’s really helped them a lot. Uh, we do the hiring process to every Wednesdays a, the group interviews. This is another thing we rolled, has attuned doing. Uh, just thought it was going to take a lot of time out of our week. Um, but really it’s really been a really good, you know, just kinda winging out the people that, uh, we know that we’re not going to hire, you know, can’t even show up to a meeting. Um, but, uh, it’s, it’s really helped us instead of, I would have been at first, if I didn’t know about this system, I would have been a F frustrated and real stressed out, you know, uh, trying to find time for people that say they can’t make it at a certain time, but you know, we just come, they say, Hey man, when we just do interviews Wednesday at 5:00 PM and just kinda leave it at that. Um, another thing we use, um, that’s been really helpful is just putting everything on a calendar. Uh, we put all our, uh, I just put everything that, that I’m doing for the week or the next week or so. I just put all on a calendar so I can see everything on there. Uh, I wasn’t really an organized person. I didn’t ever use a planner in school. Uh, so this is really helped, uh, uh, really helped, um, kind of seeing the whole vision of it. I know that as long as [inaudible]

say, this is Dustin Huff, I’m with Keystone Harbor Marina. Um, we joined thrive, uh, back in January and, uh, had been working with these guys for about seven months. Uh, during that time period, we have, uh, moved up our rank through reviews and SEO processes that we’ve, uh, uh, compiled through these guys. Our leads have gone from about four week to now, 165 a week. So the process works. So we started back a couple of years ago and began the process and went for about six months and, and then stopped. Uh, I will tell you from experience, once you begin, you have to stay with it as long as you continually do this weekend and week out, month in and month out, you’ll continually grow your reviews and you’ll also continually grow your revenues. So it’s important to stay with it. So this is not a get rich quick scheme. Uh, I would say stay with it. Google reviews are paramount and content is King. So as long as you stick with it, uh, your revenue will grow and your business will grow.

Thanks. And now, without any further ado, do what.
