Some shows don’t need a celebrity narrator to introduce the show, but this show does. In a world filled with endless opportunities, why would two men who have built 13 multi -million dollar businesses altruistically invest five hours per day to teach you the best practice business systems and moves that you can use? Because they believe in you, and they have a lot of time on their hands. This started from the bottom, Now they’re here. It’s The Thrive Time Show, starring the former U . S.

Small Business Administration’s Entrepreneur of the Year, Clay Clark, and the entrepreneur trapped inside an optometrist’s body, Dr. Robert Zunich. Two men, eight kids, co -created by two different women, 13 multi -million dollar businesses. We started from the bottom and now we’re at the top. Teaching you the systems to get what we got. Colton Dixon’s on the hooks. I break down the books.

Seeds bring in some wisdom and the good roots. As you see my wife and kids. I was 25. So anybody here ever got your goal and then it maybe was a little felt different than what you thought it would feel like? Anybody ever had that?

I actually I don’t have like a depressing story. I’m not like well I hit my goal and then it was empty and hollow. I actually liked it. You know people say it’s lonely at the top. I kind of enjoyed the piece. You know?

I mean, I did. I just enjoy it. I have a lot of great friends in my life. Dr. Zellner is a great friend, a great mentor in my life. Masoud, who you’ll probably meet this weekend, great friend in my life. General Flynn, great friend.

I mean, I meet great people, so I like that, you know? In the pursuit of success, you meet great people, and I really find that our values and morals are aligned and it works out well. You meet different people, different personality types, people like Michael Levine, different people. And, but again, You gotta be really intentional when you leave this conference, hi Dr. Mikeovitz, that you know where you’re headed. You have to know that. By the way, this woman, Dr. Mikeovitz, I’ve watched her on Patrick Bette David’s show on value attainment and I thought, this woman is brilliant.

And then I watched the Plandemic documentary and I thought, this woman is brilliant. And then I met her in the lobby of Trump International because I was doing an interview because my book got banned off of Amazon. I’m like, this woman is brilliant. And by the way, over the weekend, she’ll be presenting at the Reawaken event. So that’s Dr. Mikevitz. Let’s hear it for Dr. Mikevitz.

There she is. One would say she’s the founder of the Make America Healthy Again movement right there. Sort of a big deal. Love that lady. OK. So back on to page 5.

So you have to know your breakeven numbers. You got that? So you have to know your breakeven numbers. Box number 3, you got to know the number of hours per week you’re willing to throw at it. And that’ll be different for everybody here, and I’m not judging anybody who has a different goal But you got to know your goal. You’re not gonna drift to it box number four your unique value proposition Did you guys met Bert you remember Billy who was just up here Billy was over here Billy?

Listens to my radio show on KRMG and Billy called me and said hey. I have an offer for you business that we fix diesel trucks and we don’t have enough leads. And I said, that will not be a problem soon, my friend. And so we fixed that. But then the next problem is, wow, I need to learn how to manage a team of people.

And that became a bigger issue, you know? And now we’re working through that. So again, if you’re stuck, don’t feel stuck. Just circle where you’re stuck and we’ll help you through it. We had to fix Billy’s branding, a three -legged marketing stool. How do you generate leads?

Everybody has to have a system in place to generate leads. If you can’t generate leads, You can’t succeed, right? If you don’t have any new leads, you’re not going to have any success. You’ve got to figure out a way to generate leads, okay? And that’s where I want to kind of hone in right now. We’re going to get into the marketing side of things.

Sean, what page should we turn to to jump into the marketing? I’m going to go to page 123 to start. Page 123. And then, Sean, feel free to shout out other page numbers as we go through this. Page 123. And again, this book is yours to keep, but it is great.

this weekend or today, get the book and then circle any area where you need to fix it when you get home. So view this book as sort of an action book, you know, like a coloring book or something, you know, it’s interactive. Circle any area where you need some help. So we’re going to go page 122 and then 123. You want to create a website that’s better than your competition. And Josh, I’m going to bring you up here to talk about this.

I’m not saying that I’m God’s gift to you. Websites what I am saying is your website has to be better than your competition so Greg I want to bring up Greg again Josh Spurl runs a company on always bookkeeping comm Sean if you could pull it up He’s a Canadian accountant And we’ve had the opportunity to work together for about eight years ish and then Greg is a home remodeler based in Tulsa, Oklahoma And we’ve had the opportunity to work together for about five years So that’s kind of the context and how much have you grown in terms of the the gross revenue? I’m looking for your total sales numbers or your profits or anything, but a total big number. How much have you grown as that number? At least 800%.

And what about you, Josh? Probably 400%. Yeah, so four times larger, eight times larger. And what I want you to do, and I’m not bragging, I’m just showing you so you have some context for this. If you pull up on the screen, Inc. Magazine reports that by default, 96 % of businesses will fail.

Now, you might say, I don’t like Inc. Magazine. OK. US Chamber will report it’s a little bit lower than that. They’ll say, like, 95%, 94%. But 96 % of businesses will fail.

Inc. Magazine says that. Now, what I like to look at, to give you context there, is if you go to usdebtclock . org, you only have, in America now, 2 .4 % of our population that’s even self -employed to begin with. So if you scroll down and go to the middle column, in America you have 343 million Americans that are in our country. And you have right here, you see the middle column there?

You’ve got 8 .8 million self -employed people. So if somebody here is into math, what’s 8 .8 million, what percentage of 343 million Americans, what percentage is 8 .8 million? It’s gonna be under if it was 10 % right if it was 10 % you’d say there’s three there’s 34 million America right but it’s not 34 and if it was if it was 5 % then you would say well that would be 17 million but it’s not 17 3 .2 % so you got there okay and 96 % of those are failing in any given year 25 % of American businesses fail 25 % every year So the idea that he’s super successful and he’s super successful and all of our clients grow is not luck. nor is it a personality because as you can tell my personality is my liability here but it has to do with a system and I’m trying to teach you a system okay so we’re gonna open our book to page 122 I’m trying to teach you the system so you have to create a website that’s better than your competition Greg why is it important that your website which it does generate leads now but why is it important that your website generates leads well Well, the first thing I think that happens with most consumers, probably all of you, you search on your mobile device mostly, and you’re looking for whatever you’re looking for, and you click website. And it has to look good. And the first top portion of the site has to look good.

I’m going to make my two worlds converge, because before I met Dr. Majkovic, I’ll tell you my worldview was always this. My worldview is this, but it’s been more informed. But before I met Dr. Majkovic, every year before that, so that would have been the first 38 years of my life, any time that I could go vote, I would, and I did. And I always thought, I wonder if I shoot a BB at the ocean if it has the same impact. And so I really don’t participate in politics. And I still don’t even today, because I like now somehow our agenda as a Republican Party is we’re now in favor of universal basic income, mRNA technology, programmable money, self -driving cars, humanoid robots.

And I feel like that’s what I spoke against on the left, but now it’s on the right. So the way I look at it, it’s like a wheel. If you vote here, the wheel keeps spinning and now it’s on the left. I turned it too far. So I don’t spend a whole lot of my brain focused on politics because it’s something I would encourage you to write down on page 122, is I only focus on what I can control. And that’s what appealed to me about Dr. Mikevitz’s work.

She’s going, you can control your own health by not injecting RNA -modifying nanotechnology inside your body. And I’m going, sounds a lot like my wife. She’s telling me to eat healthy things. What is going on? And that’s what I do. researching, and Dr. Mike was just talking about the pharmaceutical industrial complex and all this, and I’m like, what?

So it was a unique intersection of research, because she’s a genius, and a very skilled researcher who’s invested massive amounts of time, but it was also practical. Like, it impacts the way that we shop as a family now. You know, now I’m going, Organic isn’t just a gimmick, it’s a real thing. Over here, look, biogenetically modified ice cream. Probably not. You know what I mean?

So it’s like impacted. I’m all, who here is into practical stuff? I just struggle with impractical theoretical things, okay? So practical thing number one, you want to on page 122, you have to just circle, is your website better than your competition? Just give yourself a number. If 10 is the best and one is the worst, And by what standard?

Is it generating you leads? Spurl, I want to get your thoughts on this. You see a lot of entrepreneurs that have a beautiful looking website, but it does not generate them leads. That’s the criteria here. Why is it that many entrepreneurs have a website that looks nice, but doesn’t generate leads? It’s like having a nice billboard in the middle of the woods that nobody sees.

Sweet. All right, so moving on. So you want to make sure your website generates you leads. Number two, your logo. You have a logo. Don’t overthink it, but you’ve got to have a logo.

Your logo is just, now by the way, if you want to see a truly bad logo, look up Apple’s first logo. This was invented by Steve Jobs. He was probably high at the time. This is the first logo. Steve Jobs and Wozniak, they were famous for, there you go, that’s the first logo. Look at that thing.

Click on that thing. Top left, look at that thing. It was a, could you imagine what that would cost you to print on a t -shirt? Look at that thing. And the idea is it was Sir Isaac Newton taking a bite out of the apple. They famously sold their first computer for $666 and they wanted to give you a bite out of the forbidden tree.

Did you know that? Who did not know that? Look it up, Sean. Look up Apple first computer sales 666. So they wanted you to know, they want to give you a forbidden, a bite of the forbidden Apple. And so they wanted, they priced their first computer for 666 and it was a bite of the Apple that Satan said, take a bite of this tree of knowledge.

I’ll give you, you know, and they’re going, that was their anyway. So yeah. Yeah. So that was why Apple that’s, that’s why it’s called Apple, by the way. You just killed my Apple. But anyway, back to practical things.

Um, number three, A one sheet. You gotta have a one sheet. You say, what’s a one sheet? I have a one sheet here for you to look at. Let’s look at a one sheet. First one sheet I have for you.

And Greg, you’re gonna be like my Vanna White, but more beautiful. Here we go. Can you hold this up? This is our conference we have in November. And before meeting Dr. Mike Ibbits, who seriously, this woman messed up my life and changed it for the better. I’m in my hot tub.

I had built my perfect life. I would work really hard till 3 every day and then at 3 p . m. and then I would get up at 3, work till 3, hop in my hot tub every day in the hot tub at 3 in the afternoon. And I’m reading books and I got your crazy book, Plague of Corruption, which is true. It’s endorsed by RFK, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

And I’m reading this and I’m like, you know, you picture the hot tub, you know, having a peaceful, I’m looking out over the forest. I got a beautiful, Sean, maybe find that house on Google so people have a context. It’s like 91st and Elm, and you can kind of zoom in, you’ll find the house. So I’ve got a beautiful view of 18 acres of woods. And I’m enjoying the hot tub, and it’s hot. And I’m reading this, and that Fauci guy’s in there.

And I’m going, you know, the Fauci’s like, we’ve got to mitigate. We’ve got to protect ourselves from the spread of the virus. And he’s like this tall. They put him on a ladder, but he’s still underneath the podium. So we got to protect ourselves from the virus. It can spread asymptomatically.

We never want to wear a mask. The droplets. You do want to wear a mask. you want to wear a mat i’m like he just said don’t remember this guy and then deborah brooks the scarf queen every day she’s like and so it’s asymptomatic and so what you’re gonna remember this lady she always talked to us like we’re mildly retarded second graders So what we’re gonna do is we found a case of a person who has, it does not mean they’re going to die. It means there’s an asymptomatic case. And we do not know if everyone has the virus unless we test everyone for the virus.

I’m watching going, this crazy witch with the scarf wants us to test every American for a virus that’s less deadly than the flu. And then Fauci says, we gotta test everybody. And then meanwhile, you know, Mike Pence is doing the Mike Pence, Mike Pence, this is the Pence, Pence always goes, that’s Pence, you know, and Trump seems kind of confused by the whole thing. I just, who remembers this? Every day, these, so I’m reading her book and I’m like, frick, this changes everything. Cause I was reading, she’s the reason why, I mean, seriously, she’s the whole reawakened problem.

That’s her. If I hadn’t read her book, I wouldn’t, I’m serious, I read her book, I’m like, oh no, because it’s something bigger than just a lockdown. Okay. So again, I’m telling you guys this stuff because I’m You’re going to have to balance impractical things that you want to do with your life and the practical need of growing a business. Okay? The duality.

Okay. So, you have to have a one sheet. So my one sheet, hold that up again. My one sheet, this is for the business conference coming up in November. Maybe you can zoom in on it or maybe we can, the camera can cut to it so you can see it. But then we have the event coming up in November and I had always done since 2005 and will always do business workshops.

Now Esther Federkevich, look it up Sean, it’s called the Fed Agency. She’s Tim Tebow’s literary agent. She calls me and she says, Clay, I ain’t scared. I’m coming to your conference. Remember the lockdowns? I had a scare.

conference scheduled during the lockdowns, as everyone did. And apparently I was the only conference that was still happening. And so Esther Federkevich says she was flying on a Southwest Airlines flight to come to this conference. And she’s like, I’m the only person on the plane. She’s like, I feel like it’s a private plane thing. So she’s flying and I can hear her.

She’s like, I’m coming to Tulsa. Nobody, her husband wouldn’t come and people, no one would come. And I’m hosting this conference, you know, and so the business conferences, that’s what I do. That’s my thing. That’s my flow. That’ll always be my flow.

The reawakened thing, I’m not really sure what happened there, but she’s the cause of it. And then General Flynn was like, you know, I like that you’ve taken a stand against the lockdowns, the quarantines, the curfews. What if we team up and do, you know, so it became like, then I kept running into great people like you people who we all believe in freedom. And then I’m like, oh, well, hell’s bells, we’re going to have to do it. And that’s what happened. Okay, but the one sheet, it has to explain, so if you hold up the one sheet, everyone should have it there, it should be able to explain to people what it is on one sheet.

Make sense? Not a book, but a one sheet. One sheet. Josh, you’re an accountant, you’re a bookkeeper, it’s easy to talk for an hour about all the things you could do, but why do you have to have a one sheet? Well, I mean, people believe little of what they hear and more of what they see, right? So that’s a powerful thing.

So when you’re walking someone through it in an initial consult, it’s going to be easier to define your value proposition. But I got a really funny story about one sheet. So after meeting Clay, we put a one sheet involved. And we actually ranked ourselves versus other competitors. And one of our other competitors was so upset about us putting them on the one sheet that they immediately, they had a kind of a three -pronged attack, right? So they immediately then start posting a bunch of hate stuff about us online, creating a bunch of fake stuff and posting it online and trying to redirect the traffic to theirs.

That was kind of step one and we said, well, we don’t care. We’re just going to gather more reviews. This is obviously working at this point. So we keep doing this. Then, at some point, the cease and desist letters start from the competitor. And so at that point, me being a professional CFO, this is funny, because they’re going to have their lawyer reach out to me at $500 an hour.

We’re not doing anything illegal. We’re not impersonating them. We’re not saying anything that’s different than their website. So the first step, we’re just going My team’s like, well, should we get our lawyer to respond? I was like, no, no, no. We don’t need our lawyer to respond to this.

This is just frivolous. This guy’s sick. So what we’re going to do is we’re just going to ask them, where are we actually impersonating? And we start corresponding with their lawyer, who’s probably charging them $500 an hour. And once we get a response from their lawyer, then our next step is to say, have you actually read your client’s website? Is there anything that we’re claiming about your client that’s actually false anywhere?

And meanwhile, we’re getting more and more leads who used to be customers of this person. And then one day, all of them called at once. So we would have dozens of clients from this competitor called at once, because she literally went nuts and gave up, because we put her on the one sheet. So I mean, that’s just it. The one sheet. So the one sheet.

You want to put on one sheet what it is that you do, so when you meet with your customers face to face, you can articulate that. Next item, number four. Anytime you have a print, but a piece of print material, it just needs to be intentional. So anything you give the customer needs to be intentional. So don’t give print material that’s not intentional, but if you’re a contractor, you need to have something you give people. If you’re a dentist, you’re a doctor, you’re a lawyer, you’ve got to have some kind of print material because as he said, people need to see it to believe it.

Moving on, a marketing video. A marketing video. If we go to pmhokc . com, this is an example of an about us video. An about us video is just a video that articulates what you do versus competition in a way that theoretically turns potential leads into actual leads.

So if you scroll down real quick, we should see a play button here somewhere. Sean, go to, there you go, down, down, down, da -da -da -da -da -da -da -da -da -da -da -da -da -da. There, hit play on that video. Hit play, here we go, feelin’ the flow, workin’ it. Hi, I’m Randy Antrigan, and I’m the owner of Perfect My Home. Our mission statement here is to help your family create backyard memories.

So we offer a wide range of services from pools, pergolas, kitchens, fireplaces, hot tubs, pavilions. Pause. No matter what you do, you’ve got to have a one -sheet video. Pause that thing. So you’ve got to have a one -sheet. You’ve got to have it about this video.

You’ve got to have it about this video. No matter what business you’re in, if you don’t have it, don’t beat yourself up. Just circle it. We’ll come back to it. OK. Next, create signage.

Greg, how often do you have people ask you, hey, are you doing the wood floor for that house? Could you do the wood floor for my house? Like how often does the neighbors ask about your services? We get probably 30, 40 % of the time if you have a sign out customer or a neighbor or somebody driving by would ask. We call that signs and wonders. And I’m trying to fill the room with ideas today.

Signs that make people wonder. Like, what is this? So if you look up, Sean, look it up real quick, type in largest iced tea Guinness record Chick -fil -A. So one of my longtime friends, we did this move, this was the move, and he built the largest iced tea in the history of the world in front of his, I’m not sure that there’s a lot of people competing for this, But we need to be able to say it, and we put it in front of his Chick -fil -A. So when he built the largest iced tea… Sean, type in largest snow cone.

You know, Guinness record largest snow cone, Oklahoma. Put Tulsa Chick -fil -A after, you’ll find it again. So what happens is, if you build a large enough of a snow cone, typically the media will show up. There you go. You’ll see it. The media will show up.

Scroll down real quick here. Scrolling down. Keep going down. Keep going down. There you go. Chick -fil -A, Josh’s Snow Cone, attempt to build the world’s largest snow cone.

That kind of thing. Why do people want to drive by and check out when they look to their left or right and they see a 12 -foot tall 12 foot tall, maybe click on images, Sean. Maybe you can find it there by typing that in. Why do people want to stop by and look when they see a 12 foot tall snow cone? What do you think, Greg? Why do people go?

Because it’s weird. Yes, yes, yes. That is the key. The key is, remember, ordinary, that’s every day. Extraordinary gets remembered, right? Remember, by default, everything’s invisible.

right so everything by everything by default is invisible but if you want to be visible you’ve got to be extraordinary so if you’re going to put up signs they need to be signs and wonders i’m going to help some women here if you’re a woman that dresses sharp you will not like this idea and you will attack me and rebuke me and fight with me it’s okay if you’re a man who’s tacky you’re just sort of a tacky guy you’ll love this move But it works, regardless. So we had one woman in our, a client of ours, she was a real estate agent, nice woman, very classy, and she was like, I hate your idea of signs that stick out. And I said, okay. So I came into meetings, I’m showing her different options, we’re just looking together, and finally she found this like colonial looking sign, it was like heavily detailed, crown molding kind of, very deep, I mean it was like a craftsman, custom craftsman, you know the signs that say house for sale? But she found one that she liked that was custom made where the sign was hanging by a chain and it looked like it was carved in this whole thing. And they were like maybe $500 to $600 a piece.

You know when you put real estate signs up, the ones, you see them everywhere. You don’t normally remember them. But hers were tall and bougie, and it looked like a part of your house or something. I mean, it was this awesome sign. And she put it up there, and she said, I think that’ll work. And her husband was going, $600 for a sign?

She’s like, well, that’s to build it, Tim. Now to install it, it’s going to be Tim’s like, I’m not installing it because this thing was like almost as tall as this guy. So she had to pay to have people take an auger and drill it down and put it. It’s about 1500 bucks per sign to put that sign in the lawn. But she did the homes in Utica, you know, Utica Square. It’s a very nice area in Tulsa.

and she got so much business because the signs made people wonder. Does that make sense? So it was still classy, but it was so expensive, because each one had the thing carved into it, the details were carved, and it was expensive. You don’t have to be expensive, but it has to stand out, okay? So another way to look at it is if you saw a bunch of cows, Seth Godin wrote a whole book about this called The Purple Cow. Seth Godin, the leading marketing expert on the planet, and this concept called Purple Cow.

And The Purple Cow is, the theory, The Purple Cow theory is If you have a bunch of cows and they’re all brown and you’re driving down the road and you see a bunch of brown cows, you’re probably not gonna remember any of the cows. But if one was painted purple, you would remember the purple cow. So you wanna be the purple cow with your signage. Josh. I got a good, you know, when years ago after hearing that from Clay, we had a competitor in town who is a bookkeeper who, you know, they started wrapping those smart cars. Remember those smart cars?

And that was very interesting, like wrapping the smart cars of the bookkeeping firm. And I said, well, that’s not really me. So I wrapped the Ford Raptor saying beat the odds of business. You did that. I remember this. Yeah.

And here I am driving around town following no traffic rules and driving over things. and and we got lots of calls from that some good and bad but they were like it was really effective Josh was also the guy who is an accountant was going on YouTube and explaining how PCR how masks didn’t work yeah because he just thinks So he’s doing this, he’s doing online. With the oxygen meter? Yeah, oxygen meter. So again, it’s probably not the best marketing idea to be the one accountant in the world who’s teaching you how an oxygen meter works and why masks don’t work, but he was that guy. And so, there it is, okay.

So, next item, item number seven on page 122. You wanna make sure that everything the customer experiences is great. So I’m gonna help you through this process, so I’m trying to help somebody out there. When someone answers the phone, is it great? And I was getting on to a member of our team a couple months ago. She’s a nice lady, but she was answering the phone like this.

Thank you for calling Elephant in the Room. How can I help you? And that was like starting off the day. By about noon, though, it’s, thank you for calling Elephant in the Room. By about two, it’s, Elephant in the Room. By about three, it’s, Elephant in the Room.

By four, it’s, Elephant in the Room. By five, Elephant in the Room. And it’s like, I’m going, hey, as your fatigue is going, whatever that is, you sound awful. You’re repelling our wonderful customers. I need you to answer the phone with enthusiasm. So we got options.

You can drink a Red Bull. You can lick the bottom of a 9 -volt battery. That’s exciting. We could throw you in the water. We could taser you. There’s a lot of moves.

But she’s like, I get it. The other day, we had a, this is, I’m talking about five months ago. We had a guy that was wearing a headphone apparatus while answering the phones. What is wrong, Josh, if you have an employee who’s wearing voice -canceling headphones, listening to their favorite songs while answering the phone? You might not hear the call. Yes!

This is the profound crap I’m talking about. So how do you answer the phone? the phone? Okay? So how do you answer the phone? Then when you respond to customers, how do you respond via email?

You need to write all that down. Make sure you think about it, okay? When you present the customer, how do you present? For those of you who meet with the customer face -to -face, I want to tell you a story about a pool guy. I paid this guy multiple… I paid the guy because I was so profoundly touched by this man, and I didn’t hire him.

But I paid him because I was so impressed. So we have a meeting. We’re thinking about building a pool in our house. We’re installing a pool, thinking about it. And I already had decided who I was going to get, use. But I went ahead and compared.

How many of you know what I’m talking about? You can at least get two or three quotes. I already decided I love this guy. This guy over here has been referred. But I’ll go ahead and meet a couple other guys just to see. This guy shows up in a truck that’s clean, it’s auto -wrapped, looks sharp.

He shows up, our meeting was like at two, he gets there at 1 .45 in the driveway, waits till about five minutes before comes in, dressed sharp, he’s got kind of a sport coat on, wearing jeans, he’s got a briefcase, and he says, so I’d like to get your vision for the pool. And I’m going, oh, this is good. Because he’s got a notepad, he’s taking notes, you know, and he’s paying attention. And he says, hey, guys, before I forget, I got you a little gift. I value your time. And it’s like a Godiva chocolate box from my wife.

And I’m going, this guy’s the man. This guy’s the man. You know, and he’s like, well, first off, let me just, how would you use the pool? I mean, obviously to get wet, but you know, But he’s like, would you have the kids? Is this for entertainment? Is this for more of a look?

Because some people have a pool they don’t swim in. Is this a look? Or is this something the kids would get? What’s the budget? What’s the timeline? I’m going to go online and show you some photos.

Show me some. Let’s talk. And he really was working it. And I’m like, this guy, I like this guy. Like, I like him a lot. I forget.

we’re even talking about pools. I like him. And he says, well, Mr. Clark, it’s been great getting to know you today. What I’m going to do is I’ll come back tomorrow with a 3D rendering of the whole thing mapped out. And he came back, and it looked exactly like our house. Because he goes, to get that look, do you mind if I walk around and measure some stuff?

And it looked identical to my house, and the pool rendering was epic. And I’m going, wow. Dude, you are the man. I worship your workflow. This is an incredible thing. And he’s like, you like it? And I go, yeah.

I ask you, what’s your closing percentage? He goes, oh, I almost never get denied, ever. I’m like, ooh, how long did this take you? And he’s like, well, I mean, four or five hours last night. And I’m just thinking, I’ve got to pay this guy something. I was like, let me give you a few hundred bucks here.

I’ve got some cash. I’m not going to use you, but I almost feel bad. And he’s like, yeah. You’re the first guy that hasn’t bought from me in quite a while. Can I ask why? And I said, well, I’m going with this pool creations company, and my friends have used him, and I feel good.

He’s like, yeah, he’s a good guy. But if you’re ever looking for a referral or something in the future, but we didn’t argue. It wasn’t combat. It wasn’t high pressure. And I ended up referring that guy some business just because the guy I use had a waiting list, you know? But your presentation, you want to script out, all of it you want to you know so tomorrow i’ve thought about the presentations for the reawakened tour and i’ve thought about you know what i think brian artist is going to say and i every time brian artist speaks i think a lot of people are going there is gila monster venom in that you know and it’s kind of mind rocking so i try to have the speaker after him be maybe a little bit lighter I try to have a little variety when, you know, because some topics are heavy, some are light, but you want to think through the customer experience.

On to the next area. Create a Google My Business account. People are going to look you up and your website has to be findable and your Google Map has to be findable. findable. Type in, one of our employees is today, he’s in Satellite Beach, Florida. Type in Satellite Beach Pizza.

Who’s been to Satellite Beach? It’s a beach town famous for being located near where they launch satellites. And Papa Gallo’s is my client. Can someone, Josh, why is my client paying my staff to go to their pizzeria today and to run around? One of our employees right now, today, is right there on the beach offering free pizza samples and asking people for reviews. Why are they doing that right now?

Because we need to beat Sibeli’s. So you see my client Papa Gallo’s, how they’re topped, you see him? And their phone rings all the time, but it’s because they understand the profound connection between reviews and leads. And so they’re going, we need to get more reviews. So we’re going to fly your team out, and they’re going to run around the beach offering pizza samples. Because everyone just wants an easy way to get reviews.

But when you really dive into it, you’re going to see that it’s a human -to -human interaction. Got to do it. That is the most effective way to gather it. So if one human sees another human, asks for a review, and not get hit by lightning and die immediately, They might do it themselves next time. This is a restaurant that sells pizza. Their total revenue since I met them is up 20 times.

20 times more. And what we do is we send people from Tulsa that fly out and go on the beach, and we offer people samples of food in exchange for reviews. It’s what we do all day. So it’s just, you have to, again, circle these things. If you’re listening right now and you go, I don’t have my Google Map optimized. I don’t even know what a Google Map is.

Just circle it. OK. Next, testimonial videos. Let’s go to klortho . com. This is an orthodontist I work with.

klortho . com. He’s an orthodontist I’ve worked with, I think, for like 18 years. I DJed this guy’s wedding. And now he’s like an orthodontist talking about retirement. I mean, what is going on?

What? But this guy, testimonials are big because it turns out people don’t want to have braces. put in their child’s faces if the dentist is mean or abrupt, or the kids don’t like them, if it’s a terrible experience. People want to like the dentist. And so when you click on, oh, Sean, I’ll let you kind of click around. We’ll wait until after the load.

We can also go to pmhokc . com. You can click on those testimonials. Let’s go to glue and nails, Greg, your remodeling website. You have testimonials there. Glue and nails, you can find that.

You got to have video testimonials. Click on the testimonials. Yes, testimonials, scrolling down. Those are testimonials. Greg, testimonials. We talked about it earlier, but someone just tuned in.

Do the testimonials ever help you close deals? Almost every sale, yes. People want to see testimonials. It’s so important. And when I met Dr. Mikevitz, what’s so crazy is I had researched her in an unhealthy way. Can I just say something real quick?

Yeah, go for it. I, too, love Dr. Judy Mikevitz. She doesn’t know this, but I’ve had a crush on her since about… You’re sick, and you’re married. Okay. Hopefully my wife’s not watching, but…

I just remember, and I was… There was a book, if you go to Amazon real quick, and I’m not trying to sell this book, but it’s something you should know. My book, at that time, I was told by One America that my book was the first book ever completely banned from Amazon, like, for hate speech. And it was called Fear Unmasked, and it was represented by Tim Tebow’s agent, who had read every word. And that’s 2 .0, scroll down, you’ll find it. Theravast, remember one, that’s the 2 .0.

And so it got banned, I thought, why did my book get banned? Let me tell you what’s in the book so you don’t have to buy it. I told people, one is the models that said 2 .2 million people would die are false. Two, the PCR tests are false. And three, the treatments are real. And four, what will kill you is the treatments.

So if you have COVID, right, whatever that means, they’re going to tell you to take remdesivir, which causes renal failure, and midazolam, which is a breast suppressant, and that is what will kill you. but what will not kill you is literally if you have covid do nothing and that’s safer than doing the thing they want you to do which will kill you the death protocol is my dad’s lamb and remdesivir so i wrote that to save people and then it somehow got banned so i’m in the lobby of the trump international i’m in the lobby of the trump international and i’m there uh and i walk by and i see this woman And I have obsessively watched her videos. I’ve watched her videos until my head explodes. And I’m going, Dr. Maikovits. And you were sitting next to Charlene, I think. And I go, Dr. Maikovits.

And you were like, hello. And I’m wearing Yeezys, because that’s what I typically wear. My wife has got me wearing brown shoes right now. I don’t like it. I’m going back to Yeezy’s soon. But I’m wearing my jeans, my brown, you know, my Yeezy’s, and you got a hat on, you’re dressed up, whatever, and I go, you’re Dr. Mikevitz.

And you go, yes, I am. And all I’m saying is I had researched her, I’d watched her on Patrick, Mitt, and David, I’d seen the plandemic, and I’d already formed an opinion before I met her. Does that make sense? And your customers are doing it to you and your business, too. So in the absence of those videos, the customer fills in the gaps with whatever they can find. Does that make sense?

So if you have a business and you’ve been in the home remodeling business for 20 years and you don’t have 20 testimonials, people find that hard to believe. And the reason why you’re not getting video testimonials by default is it’s abnormal human behavior. As an example, I would just say, chill spot. Chrissy, after we have a good conversation, I often don’t say, Chrissy, is there any way we could do a video together celebrating this great conversation that we had? Let’s document that. And could you leave me a review based upon our conversation?

I’ll leave you a review. You know, we don’t think that way. We don’t think about, so it’s abnormal behavior to ask for reviews and to get testimonials, but you have to in the digital age because people look you up. Are we on the same page? So it’s very, how many of you now will look up your babysitter before you hire them and you go, uh -oh? Have you ever had that happen?

Uh -oh. oh snap, Instagram lives forever, right? Okay, so it’s very important that you make sure when people look you up, they find the things you want them to find. The final couple items I wanna make sure we have here on page 122. You gotta make sure, if your team is going to not be nude, you would wanna be intentional about what they’re wearing. So you wanna make sure that your team is intentional about what they are wearing.

You want to make sure your team is intentional about what they’re wearing. Josh, talk to me for a second. Is it shocking to you that there are businesses that exist in America today that do not have some kind of dress code or standard or uniform if they’re going to be customer facing? Is it shocking to you? Yeah, I mean it’s like they’re just handicapping themselves before they get in right like even and It doesn’t have to be like a super high bar even at our firm like some stand They can actually wear our branded like wear a branded golf shirt or branded t -shirts And they can just fully casual or they can dress business casual, but there’s no I’m just gonna dress casual without any other standard Who knows what I’m talking about? So we have our haircut chain, and what happens is if I don’t dictate what the staff wears, they will try to dress up like college girls on Halloween.

And it’s really rough. I mean, it’s really rough. So I have to say this is what’s allowed because if we don’t set the standard, it’s going to get crazy very quickly. Shifting gears, businesses I’ve been involved in, real estate, commercial real estate, the entertainment company, I required all my DJs to wear a tie. I’m not saying you have to wear a tie. I’m just saying it’s very important that you’re intentional about how your staff presents as it relates to marketing.

And then finally, number 12, you want to have a story video. And I’m going to read you a quote from Michael Levine from his book. Michael Levine, who presented earlier, he says, someone a present and you give it to them in a Tiffany box, it’s likely that they’ll believe that the gift has a higher perceived value than if you give it to them in a no box or a box of less prestige. That’s not because the receiver of the gift is a fool, but instead because we live in a culture where we gift wrap everything. Our politicians, our corporate heads, our movie and TV stars, and even our toilet paper.

So it’s really important that your branding is intentional. And for our clients, we help you with that. If you’re not a client, you still got to do it. OK. pay on the page one twenty three page one twenty three uh… i want you to take a moment and sean can you keep the jeopardy music first i can keep the jeopardy music and go to page one twenty three i want everybody to circle your three forms of marketing that you’re going to do because you have to have a three -legged marketing stool so be healthy or helpful to circle which legs you’re going to do and then we’ll talk about implementing those retake uh… no more than sixty seconds so we don’t get nauseous by listening to this music But you want to circle your three -legged marketing. So circle what three marketing legs you’re going to use. Are you looking to start or grow a super successful business?

Once again, it’s thrivetimeshow . com. Hey, I’m Ryan Wimpey. I’m originally from Tulsa. born and raised here. I’ve I’ve definitely learned a lot about life design and making sure the business serves you.

The linear workflow, the linear workflow for us in getting everything out on paper and documented is really important. We have workflows that are kind of all over the place, so having linear workflow and seeing that mapped out on multiple different boards is pretty awesome. That’s really helpful for me. The atmosphere here is awesome. I definitely just stared at the walls, at how to make my facility look like this place. This place rocks.

It’s invigorating. The walls are super. It’s just very cool. The atmosphere is cool. The people are nice. It’s a pretty cool place to be.

Very good learning atmosphere. I literally want to model it and steal everything that’s here at this facility and basically create it just on our business side. The play is hilarious. I literally laughed so hard that I started having tears. yesterday and we’ve been learning a lot which you know we’ve been sitting here we’ve been learning a lot and so the humor definitely definitely helps it breaks it up but the content is awesome off the charts and it’s very interactive you can raise your hand it’s not like you’re just listening to the professor speak you know the wizard teaches but the wizard interacts and he takes questions so that’s awesome if you’re not attending the conference you’re missing about three quarters to half of your life you’re definitely It’s it’s probably worth a couple thousand dollars So you’re missing the thought process of someone that’s already started like nine profitable businesses So not only is it a lot of good information, but just getting in the thought plate Lark is here somewhere Where’s my buddy play plays the greatest I met his goats today. I met his dogs.

I met his chickens. I saw his compound He’s like the greatest guy ran from his goats his chickens, his dogs. So this guy’s like the greatest marketer you’ve ever seen, right? His entire life, Clay Clark, his entire life is marketing. For Donald J. Trump, as he was the 45th president of the United States, and now the 47th president of the United States, is Eric Trump.

Eric Trump is here to talk about time management, promoting from within, marketing, branding, quality control, sales systems, workflow design, workflow mapping, how to build. I mean, everything that you see, the Trump hotels, the Trump golf courses, all their products, the man who manages Billions of dollars of real estate and thousands of employees is here to teach us how to do it. You are talking about one of the greatest brands on the planet from a business standpoint. I mean, who else has been able to create a brand like the Trump brand? I mean, look at it. And this is the man behind the business for the last pretty much since 2015.

He’s been the man behind it. So you’re talking, we’re into nine going into 10 years of him running it. And we get to tap into that knowledge. That’s going to be amazing. Now think about this for a second. And then I met his mother and she just says, she just lets him be Clay Clark.

I mean, so he’s endorsed by his mother and he’s doing magnificent work. So it was great meeting you out there and all the people that he surrounds himself with. His Clay Clark starts his days at five o ‘clock in the morning. Oh, it’s incredible. Yeah. He’s, he’s like, he’s, he’s a machine.

He’s a machine. But his, you know, I got, I have problems with my company starting at nine o ‘clock. Yes. About hundreds of people showing up at 5 a . m. in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Man, he’s a leader of a leader. He’s a fantastic young man. No, he is. The lineup continues to grow. And this is how we do our tickets here at the Thrive Time Show. If you want to get a VIP ticket, you can absolutely do it.

It’s $500 for a VIP ticket. We’ve always done it that way. Now, if you want to take a general admission ticket, it’s $250 or whatever price you want to pay. And the reason why I do that and the reason why we do that is because we want to make our events affordable for everybody. I grew up without money. I totally understand what it’s like to be the tight spot.

So if you want to attend, it’s $250 or whatever price you want to pay. That’s how I do it. And it’s $500 for a VIP ticket. Now, we only have limited seating here, but the most people we’ve ever had in this building was for the Jim Brewer presentation. Jim Brewer came here, the legendary comedian Jim Brewer came to Tulsa, and we had 718 people. 718 people.

And I thought to myself, there’s no more room. I felt kind of bad that a couple people had VIP seats in the men’s restroom. No, I’m just kidding. So I thought, you know what, we should probably add on. So again, if you want to get tickets for this event, all you have to do is go to Thrivetimeshow . com.

Go to Thrivetimeshow . com. When you go to Thrivetimeshow . com, you’ll go there, you’ll request a ticket, boom. Or if you want to text me, if you want a little bit faster service, you say, I want you to call me right now. Just text my number.

It’s my cell phone number, my personal cell phone number. We’ll keep that private between you, between you, me, everybody. We’ll keep that private. And anybody, don’t share that with anybody except for everybody. That’s my private cell phone number. It’s 918 -851 -0102, 918 -851 -0102.

I know we have a lot of Spanish -speaking people that attend these conferences. And so to be bilingually sensitive, my cell phone number is 918 -851 -0102. Zero two. That is not actually bilingual. That’s just saying one for a one. It’s not the same thing.

I think you’re attacking me. Now, let’s talk about this. Now, what kind of stuff will you learn at the Thrive Time Show workshop? So, Aaron, you’ve been to many of these over the past seven, eight years. So let’s talk about it. I’ll tee up the thing and you tell me what you’re going to learn here.

OK, OK. You’re going to learn marketing, marketing and branding. What are we going to learn about marketing and branding? Oh, yeah. We’re going to dive into, you know, so many people say, oh, you know, I got to get my brand known out there like the Trump brand. Right.

You want to get that brand. It’s like, how do I actually make people know what my business is and make it a household name? You’re going to learn some intricacies of how you can do that. You’re going to learn sales. So many people struggle to sell something. This just in, your business will go to hell if you can’t sell.

So we’re going to teach you sales. We’re going to teach you search engine optimization, how to come up top in the search engine results. We’re going to teach you how to manage people. Aaron, you have managed, no exaggeration, hundreds of people. throughout your career and thousands of contractors, and most people struggle with managing people. Why does everybody have to learn how to manage people?

Well, because first of all, people are, you either have great people or you have people who suck. And so it can be a challenge, you know, learning how to work with a large group of people and get everybody pulling in the same direction can be a challenge. But if you have the right systems, you have the right processes, and you’re really good at selecting great ones. And we have a process we teach about how to find great people. When you start with the people who are great, great attitude, they’re teachable, they’re driven, all of those things, then you can get those people all pulling in the same direction.

So we’re going to teach you branding, marketing, sales, search engine optimization. We’re going to teach you accounting. We’re going to teach you personal finance, how to manage your finance. We’re going to teach you time management. How do you manage your time? How do you get more done during a typical day?

How do you build an organization if you’re not organized? How do you do organization? We built an org chart. Everything that you need to know to start and grow a business will be taught during this two -day interactive business workshop. Now, let me tell you how the format is set up here. And again, folks, this is a two -day interactive 15.

Think about this, folks. It’s two days. Each day, it starts at 7 AM, and it goes until 5 PM. So from 7 AM to 5 PM, two days. It’s a two -day interactive workshop. The way we do it is we do a 30 -minute teaching session, and then we break for 15 minutes for a question and answer session.

So Aaron, what kind of great stuff stuff happens during that 15 minute question and answer session after every teaching session. I actually think it’s the best part about the workshops because here’s what happens. I’ve been to lots of these things over the years. I’ve paid many thousands of dollars to go to them. And you go in there and they talk in vague generalities and they’re constantly upselling you for something trying to get you to buy this thing or that thing or this program or this membership. And you don’t, you leave not getting your very specific questions answered about your business or your employees or what you’re doing on your marketing.

And what’s awesome about this is we literally answer every single question that any person asks. And it’s very specific to what your business is. And what we do is we allow you as the attendee to write your questions on the whiteboard. And then we literally, as you mentioned, we answer every single question on the whiteboard. And then we take a 15 minute break to stretch and to make it entertaining when you’re stretching. When you get up and stretch, you’ll be greeted by Mary.

There’s gonna probably be alpaca here, llamas, helicopter rides, a coffee bar, a snow cone. I mean, there’s just… You had a crocodile one time. That was pretty interesting. You know, I… I should write that down.

And I’m sorry for that one guy. We lost the crocodile. We duct taped its face. So that’s right. We duct taped a baby crocodile and duct tape. Yeah.

Duct tape around the mouse. It didn’t bite anybody. But it was really cool. That thing around. And I should I should do that. I should.

We have a small petting zoo that will be assembled. It’s going to be great. And then you’re in the company of hundreds of entrepreneurs. So there’s not a lot of people in America today. In fact, there’s less than 10 million people today, according to U . S.

debt clock, that identify as being self -employed. So if you have a country with 350 million people, that means you have less than 3 % of our population that’s even self -employed. So you only have 3 out of every 100 people in America that are self -employed to begin with. And when Inc. Magazine reports that 96 % of businesses fail by default, By default, you have a 1 out of 1 ,000 chance of succeeding in the game of business. But yet, the average client that you and I work with, we can typically double this.

No hyperbole, no exaggeration. I have thousands of testimonials to back this up. We have thousands of testimonials to back it up. But when you work with a home builder, when I work with a business owner, we can typically double the size of the company within 24 months. And you say, double? Yeah, there’s businesses that we have tripled.

There’s businesses we’ve grown 8x. There’s so many examples. see it thrivetimeshow . com. But again, this is the most interactive best business workshop on the planet. This is objectively the highest rated and most reviewed business workshop on the planet.

I was looking to learn how to take my business, like they’ve said today, from being very successful to being systematic. I’ve got a very successful practice in three different cities. I make good money. I just want to take it to the next level. with systems and processes to where I can drive my cars more. Paul Hood, I’ve been a CPA for 33 years.

and what kind of um growth have you and your great team had here over the past let’s say five six years the last five when i met you five years ago we were doing three million this year we’ll be we’ll do 24 million and you say clay i still i’m not gonna get a ticket unless you give me more okay fine we’re gonna serve you the same meal both days true story we have we cater in the food and because I keep it simple. I literally bring him the same food both days for lunch. It’s Ted Esconzito’s, an incredible Mexican restaurant. That’s going to happen. And someone says, I want more. This is not enough.

Give me more. OK. I’m not going to mention their names right now because I’m working on it behind the scenes here. But we’ve got one guy who’s giving me a verbal to be here. And this is a guy who’s one of the wealthiest people in Oklahoma. And nobody really knows who he is because he’s built systems that are very utilitarian that offer a lot of value. He’s made a lot of money in the it’s the.

It’s where you rent. It’s short term. It’s where you’re renting storage spaces. He’s a storage space guy. He owns this. What do you call that?

The rental, the storage space, storage units. This guy owns storage units. He owns railroad cars. He owns a lot of assets that make money on a daily basis. But they’re not like customer facing. Most people don’t know who owns the many storage facility or most people don’t know who owns the warehouse that’s passively making money.

Most people don’t know who owns the railroad cars. But this This guy, he’s giving me a verbal that he will be here, and we just continue to add more and more success stories. So if you’re out there today and you want to change your life, you want to give yourself an incredible gift, you want a life -changing experience, You want to learn how to start and grow a company. Go to Thrivetimeshow . com.

Go there right now. Thrivetimeshow . com. Request a ticket for the two day interactive event. Hey, how’s it going? I’m Thomas Croson, owner and founder of Pool Package Media in Dallas, Texas.

I’ve been a coaching client with Clay Clark since the beginning of our business. We started about a year ago, August of last year. No clients, no idea what we were doing, no clue really what was going on. And now we’ve grown to where we’ve got six photographers, we’ve got office space here. I have an admin sales person that works for us full time, developing an online system. And a lot of that growth we attribute to Clay helping us.

And there’s so many things that, I mean, his stuff is not revolutionary. It’s not this crazy walk on hot coals and all this stuff. It’s just real, real stuff. It’s going to be a blasty blast. There’s no upsells. Aaron, I could not be more excited about this event.

I think it is incredible. And there’s somebody out there right now, you’re watching, and you’re like, but I already signed up for this incredible other program called Smoke Your Way to Thin. I think that’s going to change your life. I promise you, this will be 10 times better than that. It’s like I picked the wrong week to quit smoking. to the two -day interactive Thrive Time Show workshop right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

I promise you it will be a life -changing experience. We can’t wait to see you there. see you right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. What kind of growth have you had since you and I have been working together over these past few years? 3 .45 million. I got those stats before I got on here.

So you’ve grown by 3 .45 million? Yeah. 3 million, 450 ,000. Would that be like if you took the combined revenue and maybe doubled it? Have we gone up by… Almost three, not quite.
