What’s shaking fire nation JLD here with an audio masterclass on the eight steps to super success in 400% growth to drop these value bombs. I have brought to clay Clark on the mic. He is the former US SBA entrepreneur of the year, founder of six multimillion dollar companies, Forbes contributor, author of 13 books and host of the six times iTunes chart topping The First Step to Achieving Super Success sponsors. Grow your online business with online courses by jumping into Thinkific’s 5-Day Course Challenge today. Over five days, you’ll hear from inspiring speakers who will walk you through the whole process so you’ll know exactly where you’re headed. Sign up for this free challenge today at thinkific.com. That’s T-H-I-N-K-I-F-I-C.com. Clay, once again, say hello to Fire Nation and share something interesting about yourself that people don’t know and you haven’t shared yet. Hello Fire Nation, I’m Clay Clark and I was invited by the President of the United States and the White House to attend a deregulation summit and I never thought that I would be invited to the White House for any purpose. So that would be my fun fact I have yet to share with most people. That’s a pretty fun fact and Fire Nation, I know you’re fired up because we’re talking about the eight steps to super success and a 400% growth with none other than Clay Clark and we also have a pretty cool guest, Randy, we’ll be introducing here soon as well. So Clay, as always, I just want to deliver maximum value as you always do. So what is that first step to achieving super success? Well, we have to get clarity on our goals for our F6 life. And I think a lot of times we think about our life as just one area. But you have to think about your goals for your faith, your goals for your family, your goals for your finances, your goals for your fitness, friendship and fun. Again, you have to define your F6 goals, goals for your faith, your family, your finances, your fitness, your friendship, and your fun. You’ve got to think about that and ask yourself a tough question, how much does that cost? Because I know for me, one of my companies, we cut men’s hair. And we do a lot of haircuts. And at the end of the day, I want to generate $96,000 a year from that business. That’s what I want to generate. It’s very specific, okay? And I need to make, I pay myself approximately $2 per haircut for elephant in the room. So the guy comes in, we cut your hair, and I pay myself $2 per haircut, and we have thousands of members. But the business exists to serve me. I don’t exist to serve the business. I’m not gonna build a business that traps me. I’m not gonna have a business that controls me, a business that owns me. I’m gonna own the business, and the business is just a vehicle to get me to where I wanna go. What I love is you’re just a numbers guy. You know the analytics, you know what has to work in order for it to work. You’re very goal driven, so you know how to define goals. So once Fire Nation has sat down and defined our own goals, what is that next step? Well, the next step is you got to, once you have those goals very clear in your mind, step one, you define those goals. Step two is you got to figure out what it costs you on a weekly basis to get there. And when we introduced today’s guest on today’s show, this guy does outdoor living. He does pergolas, patios, outdoor chimneys, that kind of thing, really cool stuff. But at the end of the day, if he builds a pergola and doesn’t have any money left, what was the point? So you’ve got to be able to figure out how much profit are you going to make per customer and how many customers do you need per week to achieve your goals. I just think a lot of times, John, I think a lot of times people are passionate about their business and they don’t think about how much money they’re going to make per transaction. And sadly, years ago I worked with a lady that made these unbelievable desserts. I won’t mince the specifics. I’m not throwing her under the bus. I’m just saying unbelievable desserts that tasted great. And she said, I need help marketing. We got her to the top of Google. We grew the business, unbelievable branding. And every time I would bring up the numbers, she would say, don’t worry about it, my accountant will handle that. It’s like we’re talking about, we’re talking about the 4SBIG. No need to worry about that, my accountant will handle that. And what happens is, each month I would ask, I would ask, it turns out, if you can believe it, at $2 a cookie, she wasn’t making more than 10 cents per cookie. Now I ask you this, her goals were to make over $100,000 a year. How many cookies at a 10 cent profit do you have to sell to make $100,000? We did the math and I pointed it out to her. I said, you don’t even have the oven capacity to ever achieve your goal, let alone break even. I think a lot of times as entrepreneurs, we put our passion and our vision and our branding and our logo and our drip emails and our website and our business cards, all of that at the front, at the forefront, our vision, we’re excited, and we never take the time to think, am I making any money here? We never have that thought. We need to just take a time out, take a sober moment, and go, how much money does it cost me to achieve my goals? How much will it cost? And how many transactions do I need to have per year to achieve that goal? And my whole crew is lounging, celebrating every day, no more public housing. Oh, I just picked up right where you dropped it off. We’re talking juicy. We’re talking notorious B.I.G. I mean, Clay, you and I are about the same age, man. We know that song inside and out. I couldn’t picture this. Oh, that’s great. Unbelievable. I memorized those lyrics while playing NHL 96 on my Sega Genesis. Wow, we are the same generation. We’re almost the same person. I love this. And Clay, let’s move on to number three, which is implementation. I mean, we’ve done the goals, we’ve defined them. What is implementation? Well, a lot of times, I don’t get it and you don’t get it, we don’t get it, but people will reach out to you, I’m sure, and say, you know, John Lee Dumas, I want to advertise. Like I advertise on your program because I love your audience and your audience loves our conference. A lot of times people reach out for a quote, you give them a quote, and then you never hear from them. So it’s like sometimes people just want to gather knowledge and your listeners are great listeners, they would never do that, but you know, other people. And so what happens is a lot of times we watch TED Talks and we go, hmm, hmm, Simon Sinek said that, hmm, that was interesting. Your wife asks you, your husband asks you, your friend says, what did you learn at the conference? You go, oof, that was interesting. And you leave with a notepad filled with notes that are interesting, and then you put that in the junk drawer with your double D batteries and your VCR manual. You cannot throw away the VCR manual, no you can’t. You put it in there with the old cell phone charger, because you’re not gonna, this is a drawer where you put things that you’re never going to act upon. You’ve got old cell phones, old cell phone chargers. You’ve got an iPad box. Some of you all have an iPad box. You haven’t used that. What are you doing with it? Are you going to re-gift using that box? The point is, you take your notes and you come back and you don’t implement. In JLD, you’re all about helping podcasters to actually grow an audience. And I’m sure it frustrates you, and I know it frustrates me when somebody wants the help, but they’re unwilling to pick up the hammer and hit the nail because they say, I might hit my thumb. You go, listen homeboy, homegirl, you are gonna hit your thumb, but you’ve gotta do it. And if you hit your thumb often enough, eventually you’ll get better. Listeners right now, somebody, I’m talking to somebody right now, somebody is, you’re going, is he talking to me? You are smart, but you just keep ready, aim, ready, aim, ready, aim, aim, aim, aim, and really you have to, as an entrepreneur, you have to define, act, measure, refine. I repeat, define, act, measure, refine. That’s the rhythm. Define, act, measure, refine. So you have to reach out to somebody, whether it be me or you, JLD, or some other mentor who’s clearly achieved success, and after you’ve vetted them and verified and done your research, you’re going to have to implement. And implementation is all about activation. It’s about doing, not being just a hearer of these words, but a doer of these words. And that’s the kind of people that I love to work with. And that’s why we have such epic growth with our clients because when people reach out and schedule a 13-point assessment, my team vets them and I personally do all the assessments to find out, can this person handle it? Is this person going to do it? And I think all your listeners can handle it, but will they choose to handle it? And by the way, so many of you, Fire Nation, have reached out and have actually gone through Clay’s 13-point assessment, and we’re going in a lot of directions over this entire interview today. So before we go into the next step, Clay, what does Fire Nation have to do to take the first step to get that 13-point assessment complete? What we’re going to do is we’re going to go to Thrivetimeshow.com forward slash EO fire Thrivetimeshow.com forward slash EO fire and you and I have so many people that listen to your show that listen to my stuff vice versa a lot of people they’ll say, Clay I used to listen to your show and now I listen to JLD. You know it’s kind of funny our audience they go back and forth. You go to Thrivetimeshow.com forward slash EO fire I have listed we only take on 160 clients, okay? I’ve listed all 160 clients that we’ve worked with in the past year, and you will see their first name, their last name, their web address, and their growth rate. And so you can verify these people, and I’m telling you, our average client grew by 104% last year. So when I’m telling you, A Better Plumber, Ko.com, he grew by 79% Jeff Watson when I say Christina Niemus one of your listeners by the way Cape Cod Autobody and detailing based in Boston This lady loves lobster and she loves Bill Belichick I love going for business by 67% you talk about Stuart Winkle with accolade exteriors calm grown by 82% Cat Barbie grown by a hundred and forty percent with Barbie cookies calm Brian T. Armstrong, growing by 89%. I mean this is real talk. Real talk. I’ve been in the business since 2006, real talk. And some people say I have a job. People say, what’s your job? I have a vocation and that’s a calling. And a calling is where you feel called to do this. Go to thrivetimeshow.com forward slash EO fire to schedule that 13-point assessment. It’s going to be straight fire, fire nation, and remember these words, define, act, measure, refine. And I personally love getting these emails too from people that are listening to Clay’s past shows that he’s been on before, and then going, taking this 13-point assessment, connecting with him and some of the lucky ones, becoming one of his 160, and having that average 104% growth over the course of a year, massive, massive stuff. And Clay, I love your phrase, you want to make sure your goals, your values, and the plan of your mentor all align. Break that down for Fire Nation. What do you mean by that? Okay, well, when working with Randy, who you guys will meet in just a minute, Randy reached out to us, he had a company, he has a company called PMHOKC. He builds pergolas, outdoor kitchens, these cool things. And he was a referral from his friend, Bronson. And Bronson’s a great guy, he’s a top-selling insurance agent guy. And I met Randy and I’m going, okay, this guy, he has the same freedom-loving values I have. He believes in the Constitution, he loves his wife, loves his family, and believes the business should be a vehicle to create financial freedom and time freedom to help these people. He didn’t have nefarious goals. He didn’t say, my goal is to dominate the universe and to destroy humanity. I mean he wasn’t like dr. Evil You know it wasn’t my girl is to dominate and destroy all the cookie companies in my town I mean, but there are people that do reach out you have your nefarious goals. We’ve all we’ve all met these weird people I have we’ve all met a doctor in our life So I sit down with people and I go over their goals, and I would say with your listeners. I would say so far, two-thirds of the people who’ve reached out share my same values, but there are some people that have reached out who say, what I want to do is I want to grow my business, but I don’t want to manage any people, and I don’t buy the day timers or calendars. And I’ll say, excuse me? And they go, I just don’t do day timers or calendars, and I don’t do people. But what I want to do is I want to make millions of dollars auto shipping supplements that I’m going to white label. And I say, I know you can have success, but if you’re getting a supplement that you can white label in 10 minutes and everybody else can too, maybe that’s not scalable, maybe not doable. And I’m different and you’re different, John. We don’t just take people’s money. I don’t want to take somebody’s money. That’s why our program is a month. There’s no contract. It’s a month to month, and people are a walking billboard for me. So if you’re running around town going, oh man, I paid Clay Clark thousands of dollars and he hasn’t grown my business at all, that’s not good for me. So I don’t want to work with anybody unless they’re a good fit. And thankfully, your listeners know about the energy and the focus needed to have success because they listen to your shows and they’ve heard your interviews with Tim Ferriss and Tony Robbins and so many great people you’ve had on your show. They buy into the work ethic. They know your story about how you started your podcast with an audience consisting of you and maybe one other person that you paid to listen to your show, and you just kept recording every day, and you grew that thing. So your listeners buy into diligence. So I just say, if you’re a diligent doer, you’re going to love what we do. But man, if you’re somebody that just wants to sit back and sit my ties and think that you can auto-ship your way to success with doing no effort at all, please don’t call me. Fire Nation, if you can’t take the heat, get that booty out of the kitchen because we’re on a mission. And we have some killer, killer value bombs coming up as soon as we get back from thanking our sponsors. For a lot of us, our home is now more than just our home. That’s T-H-I-N-K-I-F-I-C.com slash fire. So Clay, we’re back and listen, trust is important. We all know that, but why must we also verify? Okay, well, step five, this is big, is we want to look for testimonials, references, case studies, and a trail of success. Randy always says, you know, you have to earn right to criticize. I would just say like this, I agree with that phrase, only the paranoid survive. Andy Grove said that. Andy Grove is the co-founder of Intel, who escaped the communist-controlled Hungary at the age of 20 and built Intel. And he points out, listen, just because I’m giving you a photo of me, now, JLD, be totally transparent, I’ve never taken a photo with you, so I didn’t do this, but let’s just say I did. I kind of photobomb you, and I’m like, look, over there, squirrel! And all of a sudden, you see a portal, you get squirrel, and I jump in, and I take a photo of us real fast. There’s just a lot of people that do that. So don’t just trust a photo with a celebrity. Don’t just trust, well, you know, I’ve done a lot of work with McDonald’s and Hewlett-Packard. I’m just throwing out big companies. And I did some work with the Chamber, and I did some work, first off, if someone talks like that, probably just wrap up the call. But I’ve done a lot of work with McDonald’s and the Chamber, because people hide behind big logos, as seen on Fox, like, when were you on Fox? Oh, I was seen, I mean, stop it. So don’t buy into the stammer-ocery, the photos. You know, don’t do that. The fake number of tweet, Twitter followers. I’ve got about 10,000 Twitter followers. I don’t have a million, and I’ll tell you why. Because a lot of people aren’t diligent doers. And they don’t want to be successful. And you know, if you don’t want to implement, and you just want to like what I post and feel good about your Life you won’t like me, but if you’re somebody who’s a diligent doer My tribe’s pretty loyal But you know this jail do you can pay for fake followers and fake this and fake that and so you got to call real references Talk to real customers call verify so many people are shocked when they reach out to me for a 13-point assessment that I actually am on the call and Then I actually freely give out the cell phone numbers of all my clients. And they’re like, I can’t believe you did that. Listen, folks, trust but verify, everybody including me. Fire Nation, so true on every single level. You see these people that are millions sometimes of Instagram followers. That literally could be bought overnight. It’s just one of those realities that’s out there in the world. Trust people who you do trust, like hopefully myself and Claire in that category, but also verify, also verify. Now moving on to number six, where most people go wrong when it comes to achieving success. Where is that, Clay? Well, it’s when we implement passively. So when working with Randy with his company, PMHOKC, I gave Randy a path. And let me tell you how detailed the path is. The path is usually about 17 to 18 pages long, takes me five to six hours. You could call it a blueprint, okay? And I freely give this out to people after doing an assessment. Randy lit up like a Christmas tree, you know, like a kid who sees a Christmas tree the night before Christmas, and it’s like, if this path works, will we have success? And you go, yeah. And because he knew of me through a friend, this dude, I told him, I said, listen, in order to get to the top of Google, there’s four variables we have to implement, okay? And by the way, if you’re listening right now, please take notes on this, and you can download my free ebook right now. If you’ll shoot me an email to info at thrivetimeshow.com, info at thrivetimeshow.com, I’ll give you the free ebook that lays this out for you. But there are four variables that get you to the top of Google. So if any of your listeners will type in, do a Google search right now for Joplin Gyms, J-O-P-L-I-N Gyms, that’s G-Y-M-S, or do a search for OKC Pergolas, O-K-C Pergolas, P-E-R-G-O-L-A. And it’s okay, I’ll wait while you search real quick. I’ll just wait. For a second, type in Joplin Gems. Okay, we got it, Joplin Gems. Or take a moment and type in OKC Pergolas, or do both, I mean, you can do both. And after you do both, you’re going to see that Randy’s company, PMHOKC, comes up top. And you’re going to see that Colaw Fitness, one of my clients, comes up top. These two clients come up top. Well, I told Randy to get to the top of Google, you have to do four things. The four things are you have to get the most objective Google reviews from happy customers. He says, I’ll do it. Not only did he do it, JLD, but he did it in record time. Two, I said, you’ve got to have the most content. And he says, OK, how do you do that? We taught him how to do it. He and his team wrote content. We wrote content, boom. Point three, your website has to be canonically compliant and has to follow Google’s rules. And he says, okay, will you do that for me? We did it, boom. And then point four, I said it has to be mobile compliant because so many people are using mobile devices for everything. And he did it, he did it. I said, we gotta do video. I walked him through. Next step, we gotta get video testimonials. And he did it. Next step, we gotta make a sales script, a one sheet, all these things. And he already had the fundamentals. All he needed was some basic systems and processes, and it took off because this just did. His products are good. If you’re out there and you have a product or a service, no matter how much marketing and branding and energy we put into it, you have to have a great product. You can’t over-brand your way past a bad product. Okay, so people, if someone finds you on Google by typing in OKC Pergolas, when you install the Pergolas, they’re going to have to look good, otherwise people are not going to come back. You’ve got to wow the customer. Fire Nation, wow the customer. I have so many people on Podcasts is Paradise when they’re looking to go all in. They’re like, John, I’m going to spend like $3,000, $4,000 a month on Facebook ads to get people to listen to my podcast, and I’m going to do this and that. They have all these different plans and guess what I go listen to their podcast And it sucks, and I’m like why don’t you first spend the time energy and effort becoming a good podcast host honing your skills? Learning how to interview learning how to actually create good content Because you can spend all the money in the world getting all the listeners in the world. They’re not coming back They’re not gonna refer your podcast not gonna recommend it. They’re not gonna do the subscription When you’ve already you do all the things you need to do. That’s the core thing when it comes down to it. JLD, I’m sorry, when are you coming to Tulsa? When I get a plane ticket in the mail from you, brother. Dude, you gotta come to Tulsa because I feel like if you came to my conference center, you would, it would be like, ah, it’ll be like, you’ll feel like you’re in Puerto Rico minus the ocean views, you’re gonna love it. I’ll come to your center, I’ll come, I’m ready, let’s do it. Okay, when we get off here, we’ll arrange a time because so many people say, Clay, when I came to your conference center, that’s when I got it. When you see a 20,000 square foot building with testimonials on the walls from clients since 2006, handwritten thank you notes. We have a crazy program called We’ll Work for Yeezys, JLD, where I tell my clients it’s better to give than to receive. A lot of my clients become millionaires and they start to feel bad because they’re like, man, I’m making a ton of money. I feel like I should be giving back. I say, yeah, you’ve got to ship me a pair of Yeezys. And so I’ve got Yeezy boxes all over the walls, thank you notes, notable quotables. It really is. It’s not probably as swagalicious as your backyard, but it’s right there. I mean, it’s beautiful. You’re going to love it. Well, as soon as I get Randy to create a pergola in my backyard, then it will be swagalicious for sure. And we’re going to be bringing Randy on here pretty quickly because you, Clay, believe in putting the blinders on and just focusing on implementing. And this is, you know, after you found your mentor in a proven plan. So what is the value of putting these blinders on and just focusing on implementation? Chet Holmes, the bestselling author of The Ultimate Sales Machine. He said the missing ingredient for nearly all of the 1000 plus clients I’ve worked with directly to improve their businesses is pig-headed discipline and determination You might call that the PhD pig-headed discipline and determination We all get good ideas from seminars and from books radio talk shows and business building gurus The problem is that most companies do not know how to identify and adapt the best ideas to their business Implementation not ideas is the real key to success or Thomas Edison We couldn’t get him here because he’s he’s dead the man who started g e and a bulb and recorded audio he said vision without execution is hallucination so just today i’m pulling my calendar today i’m doing an interview with you today which i’m so honored to be here with you i’m i didn’t enter day at twelve thirty with doctor richard bartlett the former top advisor for governor perry of texas for seven consecutive years the top medical advisor i did interview with uh… the sergeant in arms walter west of the interview with Senator Bob Hill. I’ve got four interviews today. And let me tell you what I’m doing when I’m doing those four interviews. I am mentally and physically only doing those interviews. I’m not updating my Twitter status. I’m not text messaging my lady friend, although my wife is a beautiful woman. We’ve been married 20 years. I want to text her right now, but I’m not. I’m not taking calls from my kids. I’m not distracted. And so many people live in this dystopia called perpetual distraction. They’re saying it usually takes 20 between 10 and 20 minutes To refocus to remember what you were talking about So imagine what it would be like doing an interview with me if we’re talking and I say hey wait a minute Sorry, JLD. I got to go chase a squirrel my bet. Hey, what hey JLD my bad wife’s calling What it happened would I just got a call? I mean, you know you we’ve all done a zoom call with the guy who’s in the bathroom And he’s trying to play it off like he’s not in the bathroom We’ve all been golfing with that dude who insists on making cold calls taking calls Did a do-do-do-do-do-do-do while whacking the ball? We’ve all been to the movie theater with the guy that thinks the movie is interactive who warns the guests who warns other guests like Look out. Oh who warns the guests, who warns other guests, like, look out, uh-oh, oh no, look, Luke has a lightsaber, what’s he doing? We’ve all been with these distracted people and it makes it impossible to do life. Man, I mean, Fire Nation, I hope some of you just got hit to the core for being exposed. You know, and listen, it’s a reality that a lot of us have to deal with. Distractions is pretty much almost everybody else’s number one job, is to somehow distract us, is to get our attention, is to take our focus off of something and look at them, look at their product, their service and it’s just one of those realities, Fire Nation. Look at what Clay is doing today, four quality interviews, he’s focused. Clay is number five, not to call you all Clay, but you’re number five of eight interviews that I’m doing today and guess what, I’m focused, this is my Super Bowl. Hey, real quick, Kanye West and his new album, Jesus is King, one of the lines he says in the song Follow God is he says, I ain’t mean, I’m just focused. And he pauses and he says, again, I ain’t mean, I’m just focused. He paused again, I ain’t mean, I’m just focused. He said it multiple times. Focus means focus on core tasks until success. I love it. All right, so I built the largest DJ entertainment company for weddings, DJConnection.com. All I did was focused on growing DJConnection.com to do 4,000 events per year. Well recently with this whole COVID thing, I have realized, hey look, there’s a lot of misinformation coming out there. So what I have to do is I need to start a conversation with people that know the truth. So I’ve reached out to a US Housing Secretary, Ben Carson, I had him on my show talking about COVID-19. I’ve had Dr. Richard Bartlett on my show talking about COVID-19. I had Dr. Knife Chief talking about COVID-19. Dr. Dan Erickson, the famous doctor who keeps getting banned from YouTube, talking about COVID-19. The White House Press Secretary talking about COVID-19. And you go, man, apparently you wanna know about COVID-19. No, I don’t want to, but it’s hard to have a business that’s open if you’re forced to be closed. Right, I mean, it’s my little theory I’m working on, JLD. If you’re not open, you’ll probably be closed. So I’ve just obsessively focused on interviewing doctors. And I’ve had so many of my listeners say, dude, I’ve never heard more medical knowledge on one podcast than your podcast recently. And I’m like, well man, my listeners are asking, hey, where can I get a treatment? You know, I don’t wanna die, where can I get a prophylactic? Where can I get a treatment? And so I’m talking about Budesonide, and Pulmicort, and nebulizers. It’s for $237, by the way, folks. Pulmicort, nebulizer, Budesonide, and a Z-Pak has caused zero patient fatalities when used on thousands of patients. That’s a crazy fun fact. Zero percent’s a pretty low number. And I’ve had my listeners reaching out to me. It’s like I’m a drug dealer of FDA-approved drugs where I make zero commissions. It’s a fabulous thing I’m just telling you you got to focus focus fire nation So kiss and number eight clay as we wrap up the eight steps here is your phrase Which I love you must surround yourself with a competent team if you want to fulfill the dream I love it because it’s right. I love it because it rhymes What do you mean? Well, I mean some people and this is how I work. Some people say I can’t listen to it unless it’s in the Bible. So I’m going to give that to this person. It’s a part of 1320 says walk with the wise and become wise for a companion of fools suffers harm. So that’s what you biblical people out there. The you Judeo Christians like myself. Some people say if it’s in the Bible, I can’t hear right now. I’m not I’m not into that. OK, cool. Well, Tim Ferriss said you become the average of the five people you spend the most time with. Well, I find that a lot of entrepreneurs like Randy with PMHOKC, or Charles Kola with KolaFitness.com, or Josh with LivingWaterIrrigationOK.com. He’s three great listeners. LivingWaterIrrigationOK.com, again. And by the way, ShawHolmes.com, who we had on a previous show, the first year I started coaching with him, JLD, he did $24 million of sales the whole year. He did $17.2 million of sales this month. Shawholmes.com, real talk. But these people, they don’t have a videographer. They don’t have a photographer. They don’t have a web developer. They don’t have an online ad manager. They don’t have a content writer. They don’t have a public relations team. And so I say, look, for $1,700 a month, if you’re a client, we’re going to do all of that. So when you say, how did Josh with Living Water Irrigation get on the Kelly Clarkson show? Well, he is I and I is him, we did it. You say, well, how did Shaw Homes become the people giving away the St. Jude home? How did they end up on the news? Well, we did the PR. Well, how did they end up topping Google? Well, we did the web development. You say, you mean you get all that for $1,700 and it’s month to month. What’s the catch? Well, currently I don’t know what the catch is, JLD, because my wife tells me I should charge more, and I don’t, I thought we’re in a happy spot. I mean, $1,700 a month, clients are happy, I’m happy, it’s a win-win, and it’s just a fabulous thing, so we’re gonna surround you with a great team, but if you’re out there today, and you’re working with a consultant, and he says, JLD, you gotta update your website, and you don’t have a team jail Do you remember that when you were first producing your podcast and building your site and you didn’t have any competent? People to outsource to when you first started Gary you could probably what spend a whole day trying to make your mic work one day I remember that spent an entire day when I was building my first business trying to update a website thing and then crashing it Spent a whole day trying to edit a video only to discover that you export it where it’s like too small to fit the frame so it looks bizarre or the words don’t match so it looks like a Jackie Chan movie or something. I mean, if you need a team, go to thrivetimeshow.com forward slash EO fire. That’s thrivetimeshow.com forward slash EO fire. Research our clients, schedule a 13 point assessment. Your life will never be the same again. And I mean that. It will never be the same, Fire Nation. And there are so many of you who have already experienced that in the flesh in person. So if you’re somebody who hasn’t, why not be the next person to take that step up? So Clay, we have Randy. He’s been very patient. He’s been hanging around. So weave him in how you want to weave him in as we slowly slow things down. Well, Randy, you have attended, I’m not gonna mention the names of these people because some of these people are great people but you had previous to running into me, had you attended a lot of self-help seminars in the past? Yeah, well first off Clay, thanks for having me. Yeah. Yeah, I’ve been to several Tony Robbins and just other little conferences around and it’s just not even comparable. Now Tony helped you get the right mindset is my understanding. You learned some of the sales skills and the processes but when Bronson told you, did Bronson tell you about us? Is that how that worked? Yeah, Bronson brought me to this conference, and honestly, whenever I first came, I was still skeptical, just because I know what most of these things are, and Bronson is one of my best friends, and so, really, he did all the vetting for me. He just brought me, and it was just completely life-changing. Now, when we went to pmhokc.com, some of the listeners just went to pmhokc.com and they’re looking, they’re seeing outdoor kitchens, pergolas. How long had you been in business before you ran into me? We’ve been with each other about a year and a half. I was in business for about 14 and a half years right before I met with you. We’re close to that 16-year mark right now. Former firefighter, you and your wife work together. And I believe we’ve had several weeks this year, and if I’m exaggerating, JLD is going to call me out and you can too, okay? But I feel like we have several weeks in a row where your sales per week are like $200,000 a week, $250,000 a week, $300,000 a week. I think we had a $357,000 was a week. We’re having a hundred, Fire Nation, listen to this, $300,000 a week of sales. Where were you at before running into us? Because you’d already built quite an impressive thing. Well, you know, we were on pace for about $2 million a year when I met with you, you know, beginning of last year. And you know, we ended up hitting about $4 million at the end of the year. So we played some major catch up right there at the end of the year. And really, I attribute almost all of that to all of the systems that we implemented. And this year, obviously COVID has scared a few people away from building some things. It’s also encouraged a lot of people to buy things. Yeah. And by the way, GLD, he has another brand called PatioGalaxy.com. PatioGalaxy.com where he makes these awesome cedar TV enclosures. And we’re having people from all over the country now buying those from you, which is cool because some people are staying at home, they’re turning their backyard into a staycation. But what do you think you’re on pace to hit this year, at this point? Because we’re almost in, at the time of this recording, we’re talking September, where do you think you’ll end up for the year? Yeah, Clay, I was looking at the numbers just last week, and we’re on pace to go past $8 million this year. So from $2 million to $8 is where we’re headed. And with that, JLD, I think I’ll open it up for you to ask any questions because you are a great interviewer who’s also a little bit of a skeptic from time to time, which is great because I don’t wanna be spouting some hyperbole to the EO Fire Nation. Well, I will say this. I love when I hear success stories like this, but one thing that always pops into my mind, and this is for you, Randy, which is, if you’re looking back, going from two to eight million, what was one of the specific things that you did that you look back that you think had the biggest leverage, the biggest change in really kind of getting you to that next level? Well, that’s an easy one for me. I mean, with Hands Down, it was getting top of Google. And going into the conference, that was one of the main things that we was really taught. And I think when I heard all the stuff that Clay taught about getting top of Google, I stopped listening at some point and I was just focused in on like, I gotta get top of Google and that goes into Google Views. And not only that, but freeing up my time with group interviews so I can focus more on getting top of Google. Now group interview, I wanna make sure, JLD, the listeners get this. Today at 5.30 Central, so at about three hours from now, I’m gonna interview, and I want everyone to picture this, I’m going to interview 40 plus real adults at the same time in my building, 40 people. And I will do the entire interview in less than 45 minutes. And that is what a group interview is, where you interview 45 people in less than 45 minutes. And it is awesome. It is. Getting to the top of Google was a big thing, but I know what a lot of people struggle with, and this is where I’m really seeing people be able to make that next leap and the next step in their business, is what you actually do when you get those leads in. Like, so many people just let these leads wither and die on a vine. So did you and Clay set up some kind of system to really maximize these leads that are coming in now that you’re number one on Google? I want to chime in on this real quick. I’ll let Randy go there. Randy’s alpha. Like Randy’s alpha. So when Randy gets a mouse, aka a lead, he assumes that you actually want a pergola, so watch out. I mean, you’ll call him right away, won’t you? I mean, you’ll… That’s it. Yeah. I’m a salesman by nature, and so sales comes easy for me, but one of the things that really helped me out, and it doesn’t matter how good of a salesman you are, it doesn’t care, it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been in business, really what I learned from Clay from that side of it, and this is what I really did with the leads was the tracking that we implemented. And so from the very get go with Clay, he said, hey, you’re doing great, but how many leads did you have last week? And how many sales did you have? And so we wasn’t really tracking all of that, and so we started this tracking sheet, and not just tracking on sales, but just every single little thing, Google reviews, leads, photos. Ad spend. Yeah, ad spend. All these things combined, you measure what you treasure is what Clay says all the time, and we started that tracking sheet. Seeing the growth has just been crazy to look at every week on a weekly basis. GLD, I was going to point out something. I advertise on your show for our conferences. We only have 160 spots, and so conferences is kind of the thrust of why I advertise with you. And my wife and I, we love your show. I think Kate’s great. I think you’re great. I think probably Kate’s nicer than you. She’s nicer than me. You’re a great couple. You serve in the military. I’ve got all the reasons why I want to do business with you. But at the end of the day, I’ve got to bring in more money than I’m paying you. At the end of the day, that’s what it comes down to. I’ve got to bring in more money than I’m paying you. And I’m not going to share on this air how much I’m spending with you, but I would say it is a significant portion, a significant amount for many people. For many, it could be considered massive. Some of it, maybe not as much for others, but it’s a lot of money. And I can tell you, every month, every quarter, every month, Kate will check in and just make sure that we’re happy. And I can say this, I have never been happier with an advertisement I have ever done in my entire life. Ever, ever, ever. Because you actually track, you follow up. And I know what the break even point is, and I’m telling you, this is my secret sauce, okay? The tickets to a conference on average are $250. And I gotta sell a certain number of 250 hour packages to break even. Okay, so let’s just say I spent a thousand a month with you, which I don’t, but let’s say I did. That would mean I’d have to give sell four tickets just to break even and we don’t have any upsells. We don’t have a magic money system. We don’t have any upsells. There’s no upselling. So I’ve done the math and we do do far better than break even and I’m honored to be a partner with you on the advertising side. I’ll probably never stop doing that because the tracking just makes sense. Your audience is so loyal because you’ve been loyal to them. Well, Clay, I mean, this is music to my ears because this is what we consider the perfect partnership where I can have you on the show every few months and we can promote your product services and conferences and know that our audience, Fire Nation, is going to be in such great hands and have their businesses explode, have their minds explode with just brilliance and knowledge and all the things that Randy’s been experiencing, that Randy’s been sharing, and I just love all of that. So Clay, why don’t you take this home? How do you want to wrap up this episode? We’re gonna make sure the Fire Nation knows all about the 30-point assessment, about the conference that’s coming up, that by the way, sounds like I may be coming too, so let’s talk about this. And by the way, if you do come, I’m going to fly you on a premium Southwest Airlines flight, and I’m going to get you at least two or three drink tickets. So you can, if you sip on the drink, you don’t have to wear a mask. If you just sip, it’s still bypassed. If you sip, I’m still working on it, still working on it, still working on it. So my three capstone thoughts, I’m going to give the listeners here this, is one, I believe Genesis 127 is correct from the Bible when it states, so God created man in his own image, in the image of God, in the image of God created him, male and female created them. What I’m saying is, we’re all created in God’s image. I don’t think anybody out there is a mistake. Point one, I don’t think anybody out there is a mistake. Point one, I’m talking to somebody right now who didn’t have a dad, who didn’t have a mom, who did have a mom or you grew up in poverty. You grew up without like me. I stuttered as a kid, okay? I couldn’t talk very well, we had no money. And listen, somebody thinks you got forgotten. I’m here to tell you, you’re going to have massive success. Whether you hire me or not, you were created in his image, you are not a mistake. Point number two, now that we know we are significant, we have to decide, are we going to try to build a house without a blueprint? Are we going to try to make cookies without a recipe are we going to try to reinvent the wheel? Why would you do that? Why would you do that when you have a proven path? So you’ve got to find a proven path find a mentor find a coach find somebody if you if you find us We can help you. That’s great. If not, that’s great. If you want to become the world’s best podcaster, call JLD. If you want to learn how to grow a business, call me. Whatever will help you, okay? Point number three, though. Don’t trust me, please, please. That’s the problem right now. We watch CNN, we watch Fox, we’re watching ABC, we’re watching, and you’re going, okay, it must be true. Cuomo said it must be true. Okay, this makes sense. Okay, I mean, do you not think that people have agendas? You know, and do you not think people have agendas? I mean, come on now. So we gotta research, don’t just skim. So go to thrivetimeshow.com forward slash EO fire. Go to thrivetimeshow.com forward slash EO fire and go there with the urgency like you’ll be dead soon because by the way, you will be, okay. Go to thrivetimeshow.com forward slash EO fire and then look at the testimonials, wrestle with them, research them, look at the stats, look at the data. Call us, schedule a 13-point assessment, and let’s get serious. And we have a scholarship available for people in need, and I’m proud to say, a guy who you’ve had on your show, thegrillblazer.com, grillblazer.com, that guy went engineer, by the way, Bob has cancer, he’s got all these reasons to say he couldn’t do it, but he did it. He reached out, and Bob has grown from a startup. He’s an engineer in his late 50s with an idea and a prototype. We helped him raise a half million dollars on Kickstarter, and now Bob is selling over $40,000 every week at a 50% profit margin, JLD. That guy’s making every week 20 grand. If you make 20 grand every week, that’s a million bucks a year. You can do it. Let’s do it. Go to thrivetimeshow.com forward slash E-O, fire. Although I’m not wearing my signature green shirt as usual, but I am riding in my signature green Lamborghini, and I just wanted to say how appreciative I am of Thrive and all the guys at Thrive Time and the show and everything that you guys have done at Total Ending Concepts. We have had tremendous growth and a lot of things changing especially on the marketing front and from a coaching perspective and from a web presence and branding and our internet leads are up. Everything is hammering on all cylinders and really we’re just trying to figure out how we can leverage the systems and the processes that we’re learning at Thrive more in our business. So now we’re setting up a lead tracking system that has been long overdue and we’re doing lots of stuff. But I want to take a minute and say thank you, thank you, thank you to Thrive and Clay Clark and Dr. Z and everybody for all the help and helping us grow our business and hopefully buy more Lamborghinis like this the more we sell so appreciate it guys see ya. Hi I’m Aaron Antus with Shaw Homes. I first heard about Clay through a mortgage lender here in town who had told me what a great job he had been doing for them and I actually noticed he was driving a Lamborghini all of a sudden, so I was willing to listen. In my career, I’ve sold a little over $800 million in real estate. So honestly, I thought I kind of knew everything about marketing and homes. And then I met Clay, and my perception of what I knew and what I could do definitely changed. After doing $800 million in sales over a 15-year career, I really thought I knew what I was doing. I’ve been managing a large team of salespeople for the last 10 years here with Shaw Homes. We’ve been a company that’s been in business for 35 years. We’ve become one of the largest builders in the Tulsa area and that was without Clay. So when I came to know Clay, I really thought, man, there’s not much more I need to know but I’m willing to listen. The interesting thing is our internet leads from our website has actually in a four-month period of time has gone from somewhere around 10 to 15 leads in a month to 180 internet leads in a month. Just from the few things that he’s shown us how to implement that I honestly probably never would have come up with on my own. So I got a lot of good things to say about the system that Clay put in place with us. And it’s just been an incredible experience. I am very glad that we met and had the opportunity to work with Clay. So the interaction with the team and with Clay on a weekly basis is honestly very enlightening. One of the things that I love about Clay’s perspective on things is that he doesn’t come from my industry. He’s not somebody who’s in the home building industry. I’ve listened to all the experts in my field. Our company has paid for me to go to seminars, international builder shows, all kinds of places where I’ve had the opportunity to learn from the experts in my industry. But the thing that I found working with Clay is that he comes from such a broad spectrum of working with so many different types of businesses that he has a perspective that’s difficult for me to gain because I get so entrenched in what I do, I’m not paying attention to what other leading industry experts are doing. And Clay really brings that perspective for me. It is very valuable time every week when I get that hour with him. From my perspective, the reason that any business owner who’s thinking about hooking up with Thrive needs to definitely consider it is because the results that we’ve gotten in a very short period of time are honestly monumental. It has really exceeded my wildest expectation of what he might be able to do. I came in skeptical because I’m very pragmatic and as I’ve gone through the process over just a few months I’ve realized it’s probably one of the best moves we’ve ever made. I think a lot of people probably feel like they don’t need a business or marketing consultant because they maybe are a little bit prideful and like to think they know everything. I know that’s how I felt coming in. I mean we’re a big company that’s definitely one of the largest in town and so we kind of felt like we knew what we were doing and I think for a lot of people they let their ego get in the way of listening to somebody that might have a better or different perspective than theirs. I would just really encourage you if you’re thinking about working with Clay, I mean the thing is it’s month to month. Go give it a try and see what happens. I think in the 35 year history of Shaw Homes this is probably the best thing that’s happened to us and I know if you give them a shot I think you’ll feel the same way. I know for me, the thing I would have missed out on if I didn’t work with Clay is I would have missed out on literally an 1800% increase in our internet leads. Going from 10 a month to 180 a month, that would have been a huge financial decision to just decide not to give it a shot. I would absolutely recommend Clay Clark to anybody who’s thinking about working with somebody in marketing. I would skip over anybody else you were thinking about and I would go straight to Clay and his team. I guarantee you’re not going to regret it because we sure haven’t. My name is Danielle Sprick and I am the founder of D. Sprick Realty Group here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After being a stay-at-home mom for 12 years and my three kids started school and they were in school full-time, I was at a crossroads and trying to decide what do I want to do. My degree and my background is in education, but after being a mom and staying home and all of that. I just didn’t have a passion for it like I once did. My husband suggested real estate. He’s a home builder, so real estate and home building go hand in hand and we just rolled with it. I love people. I love working with people. I love the building relationships, but one thing that was really difficult for me was the business side of things. The processes and the advertising and marketing. I knew that I did not have what I needed to make that what it should be. So I reached out to Clay at that time. And he and his team have been extremely instrumental in helping us build our brand, help market our business, our agents, the homes that we represent. Everything that we do is a direct line from Clay and his team and all that they’ve done for us. We launched our brokerage, our real estate brokerage, eight months ago. And in that time we’ve gone from myself and one other agent to just this week we signed on our 16th agent. We have been blessed with the fact that we right now have just over 10 million in pending transactions. Three years ago, I never would have even imagined that I would be in this role that I’m in today, building a business, having 16 agents, but I have to give credit where credit’s due. And Clay and his team and the business coaching that they’ve offered us has been huge. It’s been instrumental in what we’re doing. Don’t ever limit your vision. When you dream big, big things happen. I started a business because I couldn’t work for anyone else. I do things my way. I do what I think is in the best interest of the patient. I don’t answer to insurance companies. I don’t answer to large corporate organizations. I answer to my patient and that’s it. My thought when I opened my clinic was I can do this all myself. I don’t need additional outside help in many ways. I mean I went to medical school, I can figure this out. But it was a very, very steep learning curve. Within the first six months of opening my clinic, I had a $63,000 embezzlement. I lost multiple employees. Clay helped us weather the storm of some of the things that are just a lot of people experience, especially in the medical world. He was instrumental in helping with the specific written business plan. He helped me with web development and search engine optimization. We’ve been able to really keep a steady stream of clients coming in because they found us on the web. With everything that I encountered, everything that I experienced, I quickly learned it is worth every penny to have someone in your team that can walk you through and even avoid some of the pitfalls that are almost invariable in starting your own business. I’m Dr. Chad Edwards and I own Revolution Health and Wellness Client. The Thrivetime Show, two-day interactive business workshops are the highest and most reviewed business workshops on the planet. You can learn the proven 13-point business system that Dr. Zellner and I have used over and over to start and grow successful companies. I mean, we get into the specifics, the specific steps on what you need to do to optimize your website. We’re going to teach you how to fix your conversion rate. We’re going to teach you how to do a social media marketing campaign that works. How do you… The number of new customers that we’ve had is up 411% over last year. We are Jared and Jennifer Johnson. We own Platinum Pest and Lawn and are located in Owasso, Oklahoma and we have been working with Thrive for business coaching for almost a year now. Yeah, so what we want to do is we want to share some wins with you guys that we’ve had by working with Thrive. First of all, we’re on the top page of Google now. Okay, I just want to let you know what type of accomplishment this is. Our competition, Orkin, Terminex, they’re both 1.3 billion dollar companies. They both have two to three thousand pages of content attached to their website. So to basically go from virtually non-existent on Google to up on the top page is really saying something. But it’s come by being diligent to the systems that Thrive has. By being consistent and diligent on doing podcasts and staying on top of those podcasts to really help with getting up on what they’re listing and ranking there with Google. And also we’ve been trying to get Google reviews, you know, asking our customers for reviews. And now we’re the highest rated and most reviewed Pest and Lawn company in the Tulsa area. And that’s really helped with our conversion rate. And the number of new customers that we’ve had is up 411% over last year. Wait, say that again. How much are we up? 411%. Okay. So 411% we’re up with our new customers. Amazing. Right. So not only do we have more customers calling in, we’re able to close those deals at a much higher rate than we were before. Right now our closing rate is about 85% and that’s largely due to, first of all, our Google reviews that we’ve gotten. People really see that our customers are happy, but also we have a script that we follow. And so when customers call in, they get all the information that they need. That script has been refined time and time again. It wasn’t a one and done deal. It was a system that we followed with Thrive in the refining process. And that has obviously, the 411% shows that that system works. Yeah, so here’s a big one for you. So last week alone, our booking percentage was 91%. We actually booked more deals and more new customers last year than we did the first five months, or I’m sorry, we booked more deals last week than we did the first five months of last year from before we worked with Thrive. So again, we booked more deals last week than the first five months of last year. It’s incredible, but the reason why we have that success is by implementing the systems that Thrive has taught us and helped us out with. Some of those systems that we’ve implemented are group interviews, that way we’ve really been able to come up with a really great team. We’ve created and implemented checklists that when everything gets done and it gets done right, it creates accountability, we’re able to make sure that everything gets done properly, both out in the field and also in our office. And also doing the podcast, like Jared had mentioned, that has really, really contributed to our success. But that, like I said, the diligence and consistency in doing those in that system has really, really been a big blessing in our lives. And also, it’s really shown that we’ve gotten the success from following those systems. So before working with Thrive, we were basically stuck. Really no new growth with our business. And we were in a rut, and we didn’t know. Oh, sorry. The last three years, our customer base had pretty much stayed the same. We weren’t shrinking, but we weren’t really growing either. Yeah, and so we didn’t really know where to go, what to do, how to get out of this rut that we’re in. But Thrive helped us with that. You know, they implemented those systems, and they taught us those systems. They taught us the knowledge that we needed in order to succeed. Now it’s been a grind, absolutely it’s been a grind this last year, but we’re getting those fruits from that hard work and the diligent effort that we’re able to put into it. So again, we were in a rut, Thrive helped us get out of that rut and if you’re thinking about working with Thrive, quit thinking about it and just do it. Do the action and you’ll get the results. It will take hard work and discipline, but that’s what it’s going to take in order to really succeed. So we just want to give a big shout out to Thrive, a big thank you out there to Thrive. We wouldn’t be where we’re at now without their help. Hi, I’m Dr. Mark Moore. I’m a pediatrician. Through our new digital marketing plan, we have seen a marked increase in the number of new patients that we’re seeing every month, year over year. One month, for example, we went from 110 new patients the previous year to over 180 new patients in the same month. And overall, our average is running about 40 to 42 percent increase month over month, year over year. The group of people required to implement our new digital marketing plan is immense, starting with a business coach, videographers, photographers, web designers. Back when I graduated dental school in 1985, nobody advertised. The only marketing that was ethically allowed in everybody’s eyes was mouth-to-mouth marketing. By choosing to use the services, you’re choosing to use a proof-and-turn-key marketing and coaching system that will grow your practice and get you the results that you are looking for. I went to the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, graduated in 1983, and then I did my pediatric dental residency at Baylor College of Dentistry from 1983 to 1985. Hello, my name is Charles Colaw with Colaw Fitness. Today I want to tell you a little bit about Clay Clark and how I know Clay Clark. Clay Clark has been my business coach since 2017. He’s helped us grow from two locations to now six locations. We’re planning to do seven locations in seven years and then franchise. Clay has done a great job of helping us navigate anything that has to do with running the business, building the systems, the checklists, the workflows, the audits, how to navigate lease agreements, how to buy property, how to work with brokers and builders. This guy is just amazing. This kind of guy has worked in every single industry. He’s written books with Lee Crocker, the head of Disney with the 40,000 cast members. He’s friends with like Mike Wendell. He does Reawaken America tours where he does these tours all across the country where 10,000 or more people show up to some of these tours. On the day-to-day, he does anywhere from about 160 companies. He’s at the top. He has a team of business coaches, videographers, and graphic designers, and web developers, and they run a hundred and sixty companies every single week. So think of this guy with a team of business coaches running a hundred and sixty companies. So in the weekly he’s running a hundred and sixty companies. Every six to eight weeks he’s doing reawaken America tours. Every six to eight weeks he’s also doing business conferences where 200 people show up and he teaches people a 13 step proven system that he’s done and worked with billionaires helping them grow their companies. I’ve seen guys from startups go from startup to being multi-millionaires, teaching people how to get time freedom and financial freedom through the system. Critical thinking, document creation, organizing everything in their head to building it into a franchisable, scalable business. One of his businesses has like 500 franchises. That’s just one of the companies or brands that he works with. So amazing guy, Elon Musk kind of like smart guy. He kind of comes off sometimes as socially awkward, but he’s so brilliant and he’s taught me so much. When I say that, Clay is like he doesn’t care what people think when you’re talking to him. He cares about where you’re going in your life and where he can get you to go. And that’s what I like him most about him. He’s like a good coach. A coach isn’t just making you feel good all the time, a coach is actually helping you get to the best of you and Clay has been an amazing business coach. Through the course of that we became friends. I was really most impressed with him is when I was shadowing him one time, we went into a business deal and listened to it. I got to shadow and listen to it and when we walked out I knew that he could make millions on the deal and they were super excited about working with him and he told me, he’s like, I’m not going to touch it, I’m going to turn it down because he knew it was going to harm the common good of people in the long run. The guy’s integrity just really wowed me. It brought tears to my eyes to see that this guy, his highest desire was to do what’s right. Anyways, just an amazing man. Anyways, impacted me a lot. He’s helped navigate. Anytime I’ve gotten nervous or worried about how to run the company or navigating competition and an economy that’s like, I remember we got closed down for three months. He helped us navigate on how to stay open, how to get back open, how to just survive through all the COVID shutdowns, lockdowns, because our clubs were all closed for. I’m Rachel with Tip Top K9, and we just want to give a huge thank you to Clay and Vanessa Clark. Hey, guys. I’m Ryan with Tip Top K9. Just want to say a big thank you to Thrive 15. Thank you to Make Your Life Epic. We love you guys, we appreciate you, and really just appreciate how far you’ve taken us. This is our old house, right? This is where we used to live a few years ago. This is our old neighborhood. See, it’s nice, right? So this is my old van and our old school marketing and this is our old team. And by team I mean it’s me and another guy. This is our new house with our new neighborhood. This is our new van with our new marketing and this is our new team. We went from 4 to 14 and I took this beautiful photo. We worked with several different business coaches in the past and they were all about helping Ryan sell better and Just teaching sales, which is awesome. But Ryan is a really great salesman. So we didn’t need that We needed somebody to help us get everything that was in his head out Into systems into manuals and scripts and actually build a team So now that we have systems in place, we’ve gone from one to ten locations in only a year. In October 2016, we grossed 13 grand for the whole month. Right now it’s 2018, the month of October. It’s only the 22nd, we’ve already grossed a little over 50 grand for the whole month, and we still have time to go. We’re just thankful for you, thankful for Thrive and your mentorship, and we’re really thankful that you guys have helped us to grow a business that we run now instead of the business running us. Just thank you, thank you, thank you, times a thousand. The Thrivetime Show, two-day interactive business workshops are the highest and most reviewed business workshops on the planet. You can learn the proven 13-point business system that Dr. Zellner and I have used over and over to start and grow successful companies. When we get into the specifics, the specific steps on what you need to do to optimize your website. We’re gonna teach you how to fix your conversion rate. We’re going to teach you how to do a social media marketing campaign that works. How do you raise capital? How do you get a small business loan? We teach you everything you need to know here during a two-day, 15-hour workshop. It’s all here for you. You work every day in your business, but for two days you can escape and work on your business and build these proven systems, so now you can have a successful company that will produce both the time freedom and the financial freedom that you deserve. You’re going to leave energized, motivated, but you’re also going to leave empowered. The reason why I built these workshops is because as an entrepreneur, I always wish that I had this. And because there wasn’t anything like this, I would go to these motivational seminars, no money down, real estate, Ponzi scheme, get motivated seminars, and they would never teach me anything. It was like you went there and you paid for the big chocolate Easter bunny, but inside of it, it was a hollow nothingness. And I wanted the knowledge, and they’re like, oh, but we’ll teach you the knowledge after our next workshop. And the great thing is we have nothing to upsell. At every workshop, we teach you what you need to know. There’s no one in the back of the room trying to sell you some next big get-rich-quick, walk-on-hot-coals product. It’s literally, we teach you the brass tacks, the specific stuff that you need to know to learn how to start and grow a business. I encourage you to not believe what I’m saying, but I want you to Google the Z66 auto auction. I want you to Google elephant in the room. Look at Robert, Zellner and Associates. Look them up and say, are they successful because they’re geniuses or are they successful because they have a proven system? When you do that research, you will discover that the same systems that we use in our own business can be used in your business. Come to Tulsa, book a ticket, and I guarantee you it’s going to be the best business workshop ever and we’re going to give you your money back if you don’t love it. We’ve built this facility for you and we’re excited to see it. Hey, I’m Ryan Wimpey with Tip Top K9 and I’m the founder. I’m Rachel Wimpy and I am a co-founder. So we’ve been running Tip Top for about the last 14 years, franchising for the last 3-4 years. So someone that would be a good fit for Tip Top loves dogs, they’re high energy, they want to be able to own their own job but they don’t want to worry about, you know, that high failure rate. They want to do that like bowling with bumper lanes. So you give us a call, reach out to us, we’ll call you and then we’ll send you an FDD, look over that, read it, fall asleep to it, it’s very boring. And then we’ll book a discovery day and you come and you can spend a day or two with us, make sure that you actually like it, make sure your community dogs are something that you want to do. So an FDD is a Franchise Disclosure Document. It’s a federally regulated document that goes into all the nitty-gritty details of what the franchise agreement entails. So who would be a good fit to buy a 6-Up K9 would be somebody who loves dogs, who wants to work with dogs all day as their profession. You’ll make a lot of money, you’ll have a lot of fun, it’s very rewarding. And who would not be a good fit is a cat person. So the upfront cost for Tip Top is $43,000. And a lot of people say they’re generating doctor money, but on our disclosure, the numbers are anywhere from over a million dollars a year in dog training, what our Oklahoma City location did last year, to $25,000, $35,000 a month. To train and get trained by us for Tip Top K9, to run your own Tip Top K9, you would be with us for six weeks here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. So we’ve been married for seven years. Eight years. Eight years. So if you’re watching this video, you’re like, hey, maybe I want to be a dog trainer, hey, that one sounds super amazing, go to our website, tiptopk9.com, click on the yellow franchising tab, fill out the form, and Rachel and I will give you a call. Our Oklahoma City location last year, they did over a million dollars. He’s been running that shop for three years before he was a youth pastor with zero sales experience, zero dog training experience before he ever met with us. So just call us, come spend a day with us, spend a couple days with us, make sure you like training dogs, and own your own business. Well, the biggest reason to buy a Tip Top K9 is so you own your own job and you own your own future and you don’t hate your life. You get an enjoyable job that brings a lot of income but is really rewarding. My name is Seth Flint and I had originally heard about Tip Top K9 through my old pastors who I worked for, they trained their great Pyrenees with Ryan and Tip Top K9. They did a phenomenal job and became really good friends with Ryan and Rachel. I was working at a local church and it was a great experience. I ended up leaving there and working with Ryan and Tip Top The biggest thing that I really, really enjoy about being self-employed is that I can create my own schedule. I have the ability to spend more time with my family, my wife and my daughter. So my very favorite thing about training dogs with Tip Top K9 is that I get to work with the people. with dogs, but it’s just so rewarding to be able to train a dog that had serious issues, whether it’s behavioral or you know whatever, and seeing a transformation, taking that dog home, and mom and dad are literally in tears because of how happy they are with the training. If somebody is interested, I’d say don’t hesitate make sure you like dogs make sure that you enjoy working with people because we’re not just dog trainers we’re we are customer service people that help dogs and and so definitely definitely don’t hesitate just just come in and ask questions ask all the questions you have Ask all the questions you have.
