Thrive15 presents Awkward Business Moment Number 17, The Sales Cold Call.

Toby:

Hi, yes. This is Toby from Vacuums and More. I was wondering if I… I’m sorry. Hello? Hello? Hi, I’ve got a… Ah, come on. Hi, this is Toby from Vacuums and More. I’m sorry, sir. Okay. Are our phones down, or something? No one’s answering the phone. Oh, I got to dial nine?

Toby’s Coworker:

You’ve got to a dial nine. Yeah.

Toby:

I do? Okay. Answer the phone!

Hi there, this is Toby. Hi, I’m so sorry to interrupt dinner. Hello? No, no, no, no, no. This is not a sales pitch. This is more than that, actually. Well, okay it’s a sales pitch, but…

Hi, this is Toby from Vacuums and More. I was calling for Mr. Gene Banks. Oh my goodness, I’m so sorry I hadn’t realized he had passed. Well, who do I have on the line here? Hello? Hello?

Announcer:

Don’t let this happen to you.

Speaker 4:

On today’s episode of the Thrivetime Show, we’re really going to focus in on how to take your sales to the next level. How do you take your sales to the next level, in a world where now 75% of employees admit to stealing from the workplace, according to Forbes. In a world where 85% of employees admit to lying on their resumes according to Inc. Magazine. How do you build a successful sales team in a world where 85% of employees are lying on resumes, 75% of employees are stealing from the workplace? How do you do it?

Well, what you have to do is you have to install turnkey scripts, turnkey call scripts, turnkey pre-written call scripts, pre-written sales emails, pre-written text messages. And you want to really script out the entire sales system so that way your team can scale. And so what you want to do is nail it and then scale it. And so I’m going to walk you through the specific steps you need to take to build a scalable sales system on today’s show. But I encourage you, if you get nothing else out of today’s show, install call recording in your business today.

The company I recommend is called clarityvoice.com. Clarityvoice.com that’s who I use for Elephant in the Room. That’s who we use for oxyfresh.com. Oxyfresh is now a business with 500 plus locations. Elephant in the Room has five locations, clarityvoice.com. So again, you can make all the scripts you want to make. You can make all the pre-written emails you want to make. You can have all the motivational sales meetings and trainings you could possibly have, but if you do not record your calls, if you don’t follow up, if you don’t inspect what you expect, nothing will work.

And so now, without any further ado, I’m going to share you footage of a call center I used to run back in the day for a company that I started and then sold called djconnection.com. And this footage was taken on my last day at the office. But again, the reason why the call center worked well and the reason why it didn’t default into a hell, is because I actually inspected what I expected. I had call recording. I had pre-written scripts, pre-written emails, pre-written text messages. And I’m telling you, if you write a great script and then you install call recording, things will happen well for you. If you just make scripts and systems and you don’t inspect what you expect, nothing will work.

So now, without any further ado, here’s today’s sales training on how to build scalable sales scripts and systems. But before we get into the training, I do want to share with you footage of what a productive call center does look like.

Speaker 5:

Okay cool well [inaudible 00:03:40].

Speaker 6:

I’d definitely recommend that second or that third package. Those packages are regularly $800 and $900. However, with the price special this week, the price of entry would be $600 or $700.

Speaker 5:

Nice little buzz in the room. A nice little buzz in the room. It’s getting pretty crazy.

Speaker 7:

I blackout from like three to nine. And then at nine o’clock I’m like, there’s just a bunch of this money on my desk, and I don’t know where it came from. I got to remind myself we’re working. It’s a lot of fun.

Speaker 8:

It’s hard to sort. Do you just use the money to heat your home? You don’t know what to do with all the extra money?

Speaker 7:

That’s one way to do it. But a lot of times we just want to make sure that it gets to the right person, so.

Speaker 8:

Mm. Makes sense.

Speaker 9:

We’re not going to send anybody out there dressed like a ninja. All of our photographers will be dressed professionally in a shirt, tie, professional business attire. We’re going to want wow you and your guests. You know what I’m saying? We are the only photography company operating a two-week turnaround time in every wedding that we shoot.

Speaker 10:

Sounds good.

Speaker 9:

Right now, according to theknot.com and Modern Bride Magazine they say that the average turnaround time for wedding photos is three to five weeks, which is why we are so excited to offer…

Charles Cholo:

Do you have time? [inaudible 00:05:13] dot com, I think it is.

Speaker 9:

And because of the overall size of our grid.

Speaker 10:

Oh, yeah.

Aaron Anis:

What was it?

Speaker 9:

Explain to you. About the time you guys’ plane lands, essentially, two weeks after the wedding. [Inaudible 00:05:35].

Speaker 8:

How’s the customer service?

Announcer:

Get ready to enter the Thrivetime Show.

Danielle Sprick:

(Singing)

Speaker 4:

All right, Thrive Nation, if you have ever been stuck in the area of sales, struggling to generate leads, this podcast is for you. So we’re titling today’s podcast, Sales 101: Get people’s attention, generate leads with no-brainers, and call those leads until they cry, buy, or die.

So step number one, get people’s leads. Well, Seth Godin… Who’s Seth Godin? Seth Godin, in 1998, he sold his company called Yoyodyne to Yahoo for $30 million. He became the vice president of Yahoo’s direct marketing department. And he says, “Marketing is simply a contest for people’s attention.” Marketing is a contest for people’s attention. So step one, you got to get people’s attention. Step two, you got to generate leads with no-brainers. Now step one, and make sure you’re not getting this mixed up. If you’re not getting people’s attention, then your marketing’s not working. So if you aren’t getting their attention, don’t over-complicate it, then you’re not marketing effectively.

So I’ve seen a mattress store put up a sign flipper in front of the store. He’s flipping the mattresses around, flipping signs, getting people’s attention. That works. I’ve seen a company allow people to throw rolls in the restaurant to get the attention. What’s that place called? Landry’s, I believe?

Dr. Z:

I think you’re right.

Speaker 4:

It’s a restaurant where you can throw rolls. I’ve seen a steakhouse say, if you can eat a 72 ounce steak, you get to have it for free. I’ve seen places, dentistries… I’ve seen a dental practice, put a train in front of their store to get your attention. The Dental Depot. I’ve seen restaurants, hamburger places, go with a purple cow print and theme to get attention. Just get the attention. Don’t overthink it.

Step two… Your coach will help you with this by the way, your coach will help you through this. Step two, you got to generate leads with no-brainers. And we talked about that on a previous podcast, but you got to generate the leads. And how do you know if your deal’s a good deal? If people are filling out the form. If they’re not filling out the form, people aren’t going to call the business up and say, “Hey there tiger. I didn’t fill out the form because your deal wasn’t compelling enough.”

Now, step three, and this is the part where I want get into, we’ll get kind of into this-

Speaker 15:

Tiger.

Speaker 4:

…you have to call and text and email your leads every single day. Or, without sales, your business along with your high virtue, high ethic mindset of not wanting to annoy the buyer will go to hell and you will fail. Step four, work via appointment only. When you finally, when finally do get somebody on the phone, then you want to set an appointment and you want to follow up until they cry, buy, or die.

So Dr. Z, let’s start with step one, getting people’s attention for the business owner out there that says, I don’t want to be unprofessional, but I also don’t know how to get their attention. I’ve been in business for a decade, I’m not getting their attention. Help somebody navigate the mental labyrinth of dysfunction that says, I don’t want to be unprofessional. I don’t want to get their attention. I’m not getting their attention currently. But I don’t want to be unprofessional. I don’t know what to do.

Dr. Z:

Kumbaya is a lovely song.

Speaker 4:

Oh yeah, I love it.

Dr. Z:

And round the Campfire back at Camp Takatoka, we should sing Kumbaya. (Singing) It was a song about getting along and moving forward as a team, we all together, right? Kumbaya moments. We call them kumbaya moments, right? The problem is that a lot of people understand Kumbaya and they take it into the business environment.

And they think all my competitors out there we’re just all kumbaya-ing. We’re all just buddies. I mean, we’re the pie’s big enough for us all, we can all get a slice of that pie and it’s all okay. Right? And so anything that would rock that boat, anything that would upset my competitors, doesn’t really add to the kumbaya moment. And that’s why when we did one of my favorite, by the way, radio shows, and if you didn’t hear this, we put every radio show as a podcast and then all the podcast is podcasts, which is kind of weird, but that’s what it’s like looking into podcast.

Speaker 4:

We had podcasts about the podcast that we have.

Dr. Z:

But we talked about Clay’s six books as an entrepreneur, you have to read, you have to read. And I brought in a bonus seventh because that’s my move.

That’s what I do. It’s what I do. Can I add a little value to the situation? Right?

Speaker 4:

Sizzle.

Dr. Z:

And so the book that I brought in was The Art of War-

Speaker 4:

Which I love.

Dr. Z:

Dun dun Dun, the Art of War.

Speaker 4:

Art of War for thousands of years.

Dr. Z:

For thousands of years-

Speaker 4:

This has been The Art in a World (laughter) By Sun Tzu.

Dr. Z:

And it’s an old Chinese war book about the 13 principles on going to war and winning. And tell you what the Purple Cow concept, is so awesome if you could drive by field after field after field. And I promise you, if you spray paint a cow purple put out there, Pete, if you’re listening, I think that’s okay. It’s organic purple paint that will wash off in the rain-

Speaker 4:

It’s from plum juice.

Dr. Z:

-Toxic about it. By the way, Wes, will you verify that for me? Thank you.

No harm to the making a purple cow.

Speaker 4:

The outside of a cow, not the inside of its body.

Dr. Z:

It stands out though.

Speaker 4:

That’s your first mistake.

Dr. Z:

And so many times we’re taught in life, and we have this culture now of not standing out of, “Hey, we all blend in, we’re all-”

Speaker 4:

Bro, bro. The thing is-

Dr. Z:

You’re not a boy, you’re not a girl.

Speaker 4:

Thing about the millennial movement, bro, is that we’re all different, which is why we all dress the same.

Dr. Z:

We all drink coffee, man. It’s all good and ambiguous.

Speaker 4:

Would you mind if I recycle that scarf, bro?

Dr. Z:

We can all have a hair bun. It’s all good, man. It’s just the way it is.

Speaker 4:

So Spotify login.

Dr. Z:

And so we have-

Speaker 4:

Share a Car for Life.

Dr. Z:

We’ve dumbed kids down. We said “Don’t stand down, don’t stand out, don’t be this, don’t be that.”

We just conform, conform, conform. Right? And so the Purple Cow concept is just the opposite. You want to make yourself so crazy out there that people can’t stand but look at you-

Speaker 4:

And literally you didn’t know what to do. If you’re listening right now and you own a restaurant you don’t know what to do, talk to Wes Carter to make sure you can do it. But just go with a purple cow theme like Purple Cow hamburgers. People will drive by your store and be like, what the heck’s with the purple cow? Purple cow print purple cow sign.

Dr. Z:

Actually buy a cow and paint it purple. Put it out in front of your store and say-

Speaker 4:

Dye it purple. Dye it.

Dr. Z:

We got the best purple meat steak. We-

Speaker 4:

Taxidermy a live cow and then dye its body purple. (Laughter) It needs to be dead first.

Dr. Z:

Yeah, well we do have to kill it first.

But the point is, the point is, and listen, everybody says, “Okay, I read Seth Grogan’s book, I’ve listened to some of your videos. I get it, I need a purple cow. But I don’t know what to do.” And that’s the fun thing about being the profession that we are, because we have people from every business come in here and we have guys that train dogs, we have attorneys, we have accountants, we have-

Speaker 4:

Marinas.

Dr. Z:

I mean people that sell cookies. I mean, you name it. We deal with the businesses-

Speaker 4:

Professional hockey teams.

Dr. Z:

And we sit down with them and we help them come up with their purple cows.

Speaker 4:

And then once we do that, you make an offer so sweet that it generates leads. If you missed how to do that, we have a podcast about it. Now here is where the fun begins.

Dr. Z:

Oh, the fun.

Speaker 4:

When somebody fills out that form. Any form for any business, you filled a form, an elephant in the room today. Let me tell you what’s going to happen. First off, we’re going to give you a nice call. One call. We’re going to send you one text.

Dr. Z:

How does that call, how does go? You call me. I’m just serious. Let’s you go. Let’s, let’s paint. Let’s do that for the.

Speaker 4:

Hey, is this Robert?

Dr. Z:

Oh yeah, yeah. This is Robert.

Speaker 4:

Robert, hey, this is Clay Clark at Elephant in the Room Men’s Grooming Lounge. How’s it going?

Dr. Z:

It’s going great, clay. Hey, I saw you filled out a form. I guess you wanted to schedule your first haircut.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I was real. I drove by and saw a sign out that was stuck in the road that said First haircut $1 to kind of intrigue me and I thought I’d check it out.

Dr. Z:

So you heard about us from the signs? Yeah, I saw a sign there on. Okay, they went over there in Broken Arrow. Yeah.

Speaker 4:

Have you had friends come into the shop before?

Dr. Z:

No. I asked a couple of my buddies and no one’s. No one’s used it out. So.

Speaker 4:

Well, here’s the deal. We have an experience where everybody says, oh my gosh, that haircut experience was awesome, but we don’t want you to take our word for it. So what we do is we bring in the first haircuts just a dollar. For some reason you’re not happy, you get the dollar back and there’s no catch, there’s no upsell. And then we have a membership model. So if you like it, you can reserve your spot. We’re typically booked out every hour of every day though. So as far as times I could get you in, I could do today at four or Friday at two.

But we don’t take walk-ins because we are always booked out. So what time?

Dr. Z:

I could do the Friday. I can do the Friday at two matter of fact, and-

Speaker 4:

I’ll put you down on that and I’ll text you Confirmation. What store do you want to go to? Broken Arrow, Cell-

Dr. Z:

Broken. The one Broken Arrow.

Speaker 4:

Okay, it’s by six. It’s near Louis’s at 65th and Lin Lane.

Dr. Z:

Yeah, yeah. Drive by there every day.

Speaker 4:

I’ll text you a confirmation with an address.

Dr. Z:

Okay.

Speaker 4:

And we’ll look forward to seeing you.

Dr. Z:

All right, man. Thanks for the call.

Speaker 4:

Boom, that’s it. Click. But if you don’t answer the phone, we send you a text going, Hey Robert, this is Clay with Elephant in the room. When’s a good time to reach you? And if you don’t answer the text, then we send you an email and we do it all at one time and then we do not stop calling until we cry, buy or die. We being the consumer.

Dr. Z:

What do you mean by that, cry? Here’s the deal. You get a hot lead. And now the only difference between me coming in is just getting into my schedule. Right? And so the work’s already done. The fish is jumping into the boat. You just need to not make sure and steer the boat out of the way.

Speaker 4:

You want to make sure not to hit it with a paddle right back out into the water.

Dr. Z:

Exactly. Yeah. There’s car now that are testing the river’s jumping the right,

Speaker 4:

Break it down. This happens all the time. Well, I don’t want to bother him on, come on. What happens is, and I try to write it down articulately for you, but without sales, your business along with your high virtues, and your high ethic mindset of not wanting to annoy the buyer will go to hell.

Dr. Z:

You said he a double H ox hockey stick. I’m just saying.

Speaker 4:

You realize like it doesn’t… I don’t want to offend people. I don’t want to bother them. I’m just telling you, your competition doesn’t mind doing it. I can’t- this past workshop, Abby, one of our coaches said this at the workshop, ’cause I asked, I said, “What’s the most number of times you’ve called somebody who’s attended this workshop?” And she said, “52”. And in the break the guy comes up to me and says, “You guys did call me, I didn’t know that many times. Probably 52 times.” Yeah. So there is no limit, man. If you fill out that form, we’re going to call you like a machine gun.

We’re not going to stop until we reach you.

Speaker 18:

And when we work with clients and we get them over this kind of fear or whatever this thing is, this block that’s stopping them from doing that blockage almost every, almost every time they realize that the client goes, oh my God, I’m so sorry. I totally wanted to hear from you guys. I just didn’t recognize your number. I didn’t know who you were.

Speaker 4:

People do not respond to voicemails anymore. If people don’t recognize the number, they don’t answer the phone.

Speaker 18:

And you can’t just do one of the three. You got to do all three, all the trifecta.

Speaker 4:

The wolf,

Speaker 18:

The wolf, the wolf,

Dr. Z:

Wolf, the wolf.

Speaker 18:

The call, the text, the email, the fax, the Facebook. Just send them everything.

Speaker 4:

Yes, you have to.

Speaker 18:

Now Thrive Nation. On our next podcast, we’re going to be talking about Small Business Finance 101 and refusing to look at your numbers will not help you. Small Business Finance 101, refusing to look at your numbers will not help you. We’re going to have Ryan Wimpy with Tiptop Canine Hop on this show with us. I’m excited now that any further ado, three, two, one.

Speaker 9:

Bird, they said it couldn’t be done. They said you couldn’t fill up to be okay soon. They said it wasn’t possible, but yet if you look, it appears to be full. Oh, we’re making America boom again. Very full, very oh, very full. Lots of marketing courtesy of John Kelly and Devin and Darling and this mind and this mind and this hat. So there it is Willers, sold out baby. Oh, oh.

Speaker 10:

My name is Taylor Hall. I’m the general manager of the Tulsa Oilers Professional Hockey team. Our goal every night here at the BOK Center is to try to fill the seats with lots of people and create an exciting environment so when somebody comes to a game, they want to come back.

Working with Clay and the staff at Thrive, they’ve really helped us in many, many ways. Website and graphic design and video production and a lot of things that go along and a lot of businesses, including ours, doesn’t have a staff or a full-time videographer or a graphic designer. But the biggest thing that we noticed was the needle mover: more sales, more attendance, more successes in business. We had a record year last season working with Clay for the first time. Our average attendance is higher than it’s ever been, so there was a lot of really cool things that we did, and they worked. That’s the nice thing about working with Clay and the team over there. It’s just not one person. You get the entire team. If you need video design, and editing, and production, they’ve got that. If you need graphic design, if you need some coaching, your sales people and call scripts, PR, they offer all that. Clay was instrumental in helping guiding us and getting us on the right track so that we could really raise the bar and become ultra successful. So it’s been an amazing experience for us.

Charles Cholo:

Hello, my name is Charles Cholo with Cholo Fitness. Today I want to tell you a little bit about Clay Clarke and how I know Clay Clarke. Clay Clarke has been my business coach since 2017. He’s helped us grow from two locations to now six locations. We’re planning to do seven locations in seven years and then franchise and Clay has done a great job of helping us navigate anything that has to do with running the business, building the systems, the checklists, the workflows, the audits, how to navigate lease agreements, how to buy property, how to work with brokers and builders. This guy’s just amazing, he’s key. This is the kind of guy, he’s worked in every single industry. He’s written books with Lee Crockwell, head of Disney with the 40,000 cast members. He’s friends with Mike Lindell. He does Reawaken America tours where he does these tours all across the country where 10,000 or more people show up to some of these tours.

On the day-to-day he does anywhere from about 160 companies. He’s at the top. He has a team of business coaches, videographers, and graphic designers, and web developers, and they run 160 companies every single week. So think of this guy, with a team of business coaches running 160 companies. So in the weekly, he’s running 160 companies. Every six to eight weeks, he’s doing Reawaken America tours. Every six to eight weeks, he’s also doing business conferences where 200 people show up and he teaches people a 13 step proven system that he’s done and worked with billionaires, helping them grow their companies. So he’s seen guys from startups go from startup to being multimillionaires, teaching people how to get time freedom and financial freedom through the system. Critical thinking, document creation, making it, putting it into, or organizing everything in their head, to building it into a franchisable scalable business.

One of his businesses has 500 franchises. That’s just one of the companies or brands that he works with. So amazing guy, Elon Musk kind of like smart guy. He kind of comes off sometimes a socially awkward, but he’s so brilliant and he’s taught me so much. When I say that Clay, he doesn’t care what people think when you’re talking to him. He cares about where you’re going in your life, and where he can get you to go. And that’s what I like him most about. He’s a good coach. A coach isn’t just making you feel good all the time. A coach is actually helping you get to the best you, and Clay has been a amazing business coach. Through the course of that, we became friends. I was really most impressed with him when I was shadowing him one time, we went into a business deal and listened to it.

I got to shadow and listen to it, and when we walked out, I knew that he could make millions on the deal and they were super excited about working with him. And he told me, he’s like, “I’m not going to touch it. I’m going to turn it down.” Because he knew it was going to harm the common good of people in the long run. And the guy’s integrity just really wowed me. It brought tears to my eyes to see that this guy, his highest desire was to do what’s right and anyways, just an amazing man. So anyways, impacted me a lot. He’s helped navigate anytime I’ve gotten nervous or worried about how to run the company or navigating competition and an economy that’s, I remember we got closed down for three months. He helped us navigate on how to stay open, how to get back open, how to just survive through all the COVID shutdowns, lockdowns because our clubs were all closed for three months, and you have $350,000 of bills you’ve got to pay and we have no accounts receivable.

He helped us navigate that, and of course we were conservative enough that we could afford to take that on for a period of time, but he was anyways, great man. I’m very impressed with him. So Clay, thank you for everything you’re doing and I encourage you, if you haven’t ever worked with Clay, work with Clay, he’s going to help magnify you. And there’s nobody I have ever met that has the ability to work as hard as he does. He probably sleeps four, maybe six hours a day and literally the rest of the time he’s working and he can outwork everybody in the room every single day and he loves it. So anyways, this is Charles Cholo with Cholo Fitness. Thank you Clay. And anybody out there that’s wanting to work with Clay, it’s a great, great opportunity to ever work with him. So you guys have a blessed one. This is Charles Cholo. We’ll see you guys. Bye-bye.

Aaron Anis:

Hi, I’m Aaron Anis with Shaw Holmes. I first heard about clay through mortgage lender here in town who had told me what a great job he had been doing for them and I actually noticed he was driving a Lamborghini all of a sudden, so I was willing to listen. In my career, I’ve sold a little over 800 million dollars in real estate. So honestly, I thought I kind of knew everything about marketing and homes, and then I met Clay and my perception of what I knew and what I could do definitely changed. After doing 800 million in sales over a 15-year career, I really thought I knew what I was doing. I’ve been managing a large team of salespeople for the last 10 years here with Shaw Holmes, and I mean we’ve been a company that’s been in business for 35 years. We’ve become one of the largest builders in the Tulsa area, and that was without Clay.

So when I came to know Clay, I really thought, “Man, there’s not much more I need to know, but I’m willing to listen.” The interesting thing is our internet leads from our website, has actually in a four-month period of time has gone from somewhere around 10 to 15 leads in a month to 180 internet leads in a month. Just from the few things that he’s shown us how to implement that I honestly probably never would’ve come up with on my own. So I got a lot of good things to say about the system that Clay put in place with us and it’s just been an incredible experience. I am very glad that we met and had the opportunity to work with Clay. So the interaction with the team and with Clay on a weekly basis is honestly very enlightening. One of the things that I love about Clay’s perspective on things is that he doesn’t come from my industry.

He’s not somebody who’s in the home building industry. I’ve listened to all the experts in my field. Our company has paid for me to go to seminars, international builders shows, all kinds of places where I’ve had the opportunity to learn from the experts in my industry. But the thing that I’ve found working with Clay is that he comes from such a broad spectrum of working with so many different types of businesses that he has a perspective that’s difficult for me to gain, because I get so entrenched in what I do. I’m not paying attention to what other leading industry experts are doing, and Clay really brings that perspective for me. It is very valuable time every week when I get that hour with him.

From my perspective, the reason that any business owner who’s thinking about hooking up with Thrive needs to definitely consider it, is because the results that we’ve gotten in a very short period of time are honestly monumental. It has really exceeded my wildest expectation of what he might be able to do. I came in skeptical because I’m very pragmatic and as I’ve gone through the process over just a few months, I’ve realized it’s probably one of the best moves we’ve ever made.

I think a lot of people probably feel like they don’t need a business or marketing consultant because they maybe are a little bit prideful and like to think they know everything. I know that’s how I felt coming in. I mean, we’re a big company that’s definitely one of the largest in town, and so we kind of felt like we knew what we were doing and I think for a lot of people, they let their ego get in the way of listening to somebody that might have a better or different perspective than theirs. I would just really encourage you, if you’re thinking about working with Clay, the thing is its month to month.

Go give it a try and see what happens. I think in the 35-year history of Shaw Holmes, this is probably the best thing that’s happened to us, and I know if you give him a shot, I think you’ll feel the same way. I know for me, the thing I would’ve missed out on if I didn’t work with Clay is I would’ve missed out on literally an 1800% increase in our internet leads going from 10 a month to 180 a month. That would’ve been a huge financial decision to just decide not to give it a shot. I would absolutely recommend Clay Clark to anybody who’s thinking about working with somebody in marketing. I would skip over anybody else you were thinking about and I would go straight to Clay and his team. I guarantee you’re not going to regret it because we sure haven’t.

Danielle Sprick:

My name is Danielle Sprick, and I am the founder of D. Sprick Realty Group here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After being a stay-at-home mom for 12 years, and my three kids started school, and they were in school, I was at a crossroads and trying to decide, what do I want to do? My degree and my background is in education, but after being a mom, and staying home, and all of that, I just didn’t have a passion toward it like I once did.

My husband suggested real estate. He’s a home builder, so real estate and home building go hand in hand and we just rolled with it. I love people. I love working with people. I love building relationships, but one thing that was really difficult for me was the business side of things: the processes and the advertising and marketing. I knew that I did not have what I needed to make that what it should be. So I reached out to Clay at that time, and he and his team have been extremely instrumental in helping us build our brand, help market our business, our agents, the homes that we represent. Everything that we do is a direct line from Clay and his team and all that they’ve done for us.

We launched our brokerage, our real estate brokerage eight months ago, and in that time we’ve gone from myself and one other agent to just this week, we signed on our 16th agent. We have been blessed with the fact that we right now have just over 10 million in pending transactions. Three years ago, I never would have even imagined that I would be in this role that I’m in today, building a business, having 16 agents. But I have to give credit where credit’s due, and Clay and his team and the business coaching that they’ve offered us has been huge. It’s been instrumental in what we’re doing. Don’t ever limit your vision. When you dream big, big things happen.

Chad Edwards:

I started a business because I couldn’t work for anyone else. I do things my way. I do what I think is in the best interest of the patient. I don’t answer in insurance companies. I don’t answer to large corporate organizations. I answer to my patient and that’s it.

My thought when I opened my clinic was, “I can do this all myself. I don’t need additional outside help in many ways. I mean, I went to medical school, I can figure this out.” but it was a very, very steep learning curve. Within the first six months of opening my clinic, I had a $63,000 embezzlement. I lost multiple employees. Clay helped us weather the storm of some of the things that a lot of people experienced, especially in the medical world. He was instrumental in helping with the specific written business plan. He’s been instrumental in hiring good quality employees using the processes that he outlines for getting in good talent, which is extremely difficult. He helped me in securing the business loans. He helped me with web development and search engine optimization.

We’ve been able to really keep a steady stream of clients coming in because they found us on the web. With everything that I encountered. Everything that I experienced, I quickly learned it is worth every penny to have someone in your team that can walk you through and even avoid some of the pitfalls that are almost invariable in starting your own business.

I’m Dr. Chad Edwards and I own Revolution Health and Wellness Clinic.

Speaker 4:

You can learn the proven 13 point business system that Dr. Zellner and I have used over and over to start and grow successful companies. When we get into the specifics, the specific steps on what you need to do to optimize your website. We’re going to teach you how to fix your conversion rate. Now we’re going to teach you how to do a social media marketing campaign that works. How do you raise capital, how to get a small business loan. We teach you everything you need to know here during a two day 15 hour workshop. It’s all here for you. You work every day in your business, but for two days you can escape and work on your business and build these proven systems. So now you can have a successful company that will produce both the time freedom and the financial freedom that you deserve.

You’re going to leave energized, motivated, but you’re also going to leave empowered. The reason why I’ve built these workshops is because as an entrepreneur, I always wish that I had this, and because there wasn’t anything like this, I would go to these motivational seminars, no money down real estate Ponzi scheme, get motivated seminars, and they would never teach me anything. It was like you went there and you paid for the big chocolate Easter Bunny, but inside of it was a hollow nothingness, and I wanted the knowledge and they’re like, “Oh, but we’ll teach you the knowledge after our next workshop.” And the great thing is we have nothing to upsell. At every workshop, we teach you what you need to know. There’s no one in the back of the room trying to sell you some next big get rich quick walk on Hot Coals product.

It’s literally, we teach you the brass tacks, the specific stuff that you need to know to learn how to start and grow a business. And I encourage you to not believe what I’m saying and I want you to Google the Z 66 auto auction. I want you to Google Elephant in the Room. Look at Robert Zellner and Associates. Look them up and say, are they successful because they’re geniuses? Or are they successful because they have a proven system? When you do that research, you will discover that the same system that we use in our own business can be used in your business. Come to Tulsa, book a ticket, and I guarantee you it’s going to be the best business workshop ever and we’ll even give you your money back if you don’t love it. We’ve built this facility for you and we’re excited to see you.
