(Speaker 2)
I know that when I came to you, it was just me and the person who answers my phone. Now there’s six of us and I just hired another one that’s going to open a new location not too far from us. And so I think the increase has been about probably 60 new client load since I brought you on. I’ve been doing counseling since 2008, but in my practice, it’s been 10 years this past January. So I’m approaching 11 years January 2nd. I started looking at all of your business videos and then I started like really watching your business videos and paying attention to those others that you were giving, they had testimonials.

(Speaker 2)
So that’s where I learned about you and I decided to come to March 2025 Business Conference and kind of step up and be a little bit more brave and ask for help. Well, you know, I have always been a person that I want to be a good steward of what God’s given me. And so I know I don’t want to take out a loan for my business. But when I took the faith to come to the business conference and took the courage to come up and ask you if you’d be willing to help me. I’m trusting with the Lord. It’s God’s economy that’s taking care of it. Nothing makes sense right now.

(Speaker 2)
It’s just amazing. And so I would say jump in. Jump in. I have no regrets, right? And it’s been amazing. I never would have dreamed that just in, what, no matter what, seven months, that I went from just one therapist to six, hiring another and getting ready to open two different offices aside from this one.

(Speaker 2)
So I would say if you really want to grow and you really feel that this is the dream that God has for you or whoever, whatever that is that you believe in. But if you believe that that’s what you want to do, we live in America. It’s been amazing. And so I would say you can hire whoever you want. But if you want the best growth, I would suggest Thrive Time Show. I feel I feel very comforted knowing that what you tell me to do

(Speaker 2)
and then I go do it, and then the results are right there. It’s not like I’m waiting. It’s pretty instant. And I mean, give it, I understand there’s days that we implement these things, but I’m not waiting a month down the road. Within the week, the things that we talk about, the things that I’m told to do, then I give it back to you, and you do it, it’s done within the week. and it’s pretty awesome.

(Speaker 2)
So I’ve been to two now, one in March and then one just recently, September I believe. And so my favorite was the Clean While You Whistle.

(Speaker 1)
Whistle while you clean, Karime the mother and Sophia the 15 year old girl.

(Speaker 2)
Yes, the 15 year old girl, Well, her mom too. They’re both beautiful people, but I tell you what, that 15 -year -old just lit a fire inside of me and said just the things. She was so mature and so and just bright, like, and she thought about things and she just was able to answer your questions right on the spot. And I’m like, it was phenomenal, but they were pretty inspiring knowing that just how quickly that was the results of what they’ve been doing to as a mother and daughter. And so that was pretty cool. But I really believe that there was so many stories that you were able to bring up and people were able to share.

(Speaker 2)
I think that was pretty awesome. I like the Q &A. that Q &A was pretty good. But then I have to admit, you know, having Eric Trump just three rows in front of me, that had to have been pretty awesome. Whatever you tell me to do, I do. That’s the mindset.

(Speaker 2)
So you say this is going to help me grow, then I go do that, even if I’ve never done it before. It’s a huge learning curve on some of those things, but it’s worth everything because I have decided that if I’m going to develop into this amazing practice, you have the experience, you’re teaching,

(Speaker 7)
me.

(Speaker 2)
The mindset had to change though, because I’m not a young dog, I’m an old dog, and so I’m looking at how to do new things for the first time. I didn’t even have social media until after I hired you.

(Speaker 1)
What’s it like knowing that you have a team where you’re paying $1 ,700 a month for our services? It is month to month. But what’s it like knowing that, hey, for $1 ,700 a month, I have a team that’s actually going to implement? I have a coach that’s going to tell me what to do, and I have an actual team that’s going to implement. What does that mean for you in terms of maybe mind freedom? Or just what’s your mindset to having a team now that does this stuff?

(Speaker 2)
Initially it was overwhelming because I didn’t have anybody in my corner and knowing that I have someone in my corner and then holding me accountable every week I had a phone call and then any other time through the week I could talk to Carter. Carter is been an amazing partnership for sure, so thank you for that. But I know that if I have a question or if I have a need, he’s there. He can answer that question or help me kind of when my mind gets kind of in a frozen spot, he helps me shake that out. So I feel like knowing that you’re there, knowing that like, I can see on my like, I hear from other people saying, I used to never even know you existed. And now when I type in something, I see you.

(Speaker 2)
I didn’t even know you were there. I wish I would have found you a year ago. And so and so or I’m thankful that I found you now because a year ago, you weren’t even anywhere I could see. So that’s been really kind of interesting. So I know that you and your team that are helping Illuminated Pathways, you’re making that happen. So I I’m very grateful for that.

(Speaker 2)
The dream is happening. So for a few years, I’ve been I’ve developed myself out there. So I think that was the biggest piece of that. Now my dream that God has laid in front of me and told me, you know, that this is what I want for you. I’m going to expand your territory.

(Speaker 2)
I’m like, I don’t know how to do that. And so that’s how I ended up with you. Like I came to you because of that dream that God gave me.

(Speaker 12)
Huge.

(Speaker 2)
I know that I will ask now, not only did they just go to Google to find me, what did you type in the search bar? to find me? What were the actual words that you used to find me? Or the pictures, they love the dogs, right? So we have therapy dogs. Or just different, different things that are going on around here.

(Speaker 2)
So I know that I had to become creative in the industry for HIPAA compliance stuff to figure out how can I do those video reviews and how can I, but once I found that groove, it’s been sweet. And so I would say it’s been very impactful for the way that people are able to find me. Because then they’ll say, I read your reviews. And then I’ve read so many, like they’re all so great. So we have to try you all out. So not only are there reviews, used to be reviews just for me, now they’re reviews for the other ones that work here.

(Speaker 2)
So that’s been really beautiful too, is so that now everybody’s getting recognized also in that. And so now they know that we have a great team of people ready to serve the community.

(Speaker 1)
Rive Nation, on today’s show, I’m very excited for you to meet today’s guest. She is a, I would call her an overwhelming, massive amount of joy. This is a person who is just contagious with sharing the joy and enthusiasm with the world. She also happens to work with people in the therapeutic space, and I’ll let her share her story, but this is a woman who has nothing but a big burning desire to make the world a better place. Rhonda, welcome onto The Thrive Time Show.

(Speaker 1)
How are you?

(Speaker 2)
I’m doing great. Thank you so much for having me, Clay.

(Speaker 1)
So I have to ask you, people want to know, what is it that you do for a living?

(Speaker 2)
I am a mental health provider, and in that scope of that, I also teach upcoming counselors that are in the master’s level to also be good counselors. So not only do I help people in the community, I help those in ending their program, getting ready to graduate, to help them become better therapists so they know what to look forward to in the field.

(Speaker 1)
So for anybody out there that wants to check out your business to verify it’s real, that’s IlluminatedPathways -Therapy .

(Speaker 33)
net.

(Speaker 1)
IlluminatedPathways, again, that’s IlluminatedPathways -Therapy . net. IlluminatedPathways -Therapy . net.

(Speaker 2)
How long have you been in this industry or in this profession? I’ve been doing counseling since 2008. But in my practice, it’s been 10 years this past January.

(Speaker 1)
So I’m approaching 11 years January 2nd. And I could say that you are an expert in your field.

(Speaker 32)
Would you agree with that, that you’re an expert or you’re a leader in your industry?

(Speaker 1)
Yes. Yes, sir. And I just remember talking to you the first time, and I was thinking, wow, we could really help you grow your practice quickly, because you are really great at what you do. And all you needed to do was to get in front of more people.

(Speaker 2)
That’s why I was so excited to help you. Could you share with the listeners, how did you initially hear about us? I heard about you, actually, through the Reawaken tour. And so and then I started looking at all your business videos. And then I started like really watching your business videos and paying attention to those others that you were given, they had testimonials. So that’s where I learned about you.

(Speaker 2)
And I decided to come to March 2025 business conference, and kind of step up

(Speaker 1)
and be a little bit more brave and ask for help. And that’s how I met you.

(Speaker 2)
Now, Carter and the team are always bragging about you, but could you share what kind of growth have you had since we connected in terms of maybe inbound leads or new patients or new clients? What kind of growth have you experienced? I know that when I came to you, it was just me and the person who answers my phone.

(Speaker 1)
Now there’s six of us, and I just hired another one that’s going to open a new location not too far from us. And so I think the increase has been about probably 60 new client load since I brought you on.

(Speaker 2)
Is that like a six times increase, or a five times, or a seven times? Or if you were looking at it in terms of like, wow, that’s six times bigger or two times bigger, how would you describe that?

(Speaker 26)
I would say that right now it’s doubled.

(Speaker 13)
It’s doubled.

(Speaker 10)
That’s wild.

(Speaker 1)
So it’s doubled. Yes. Now, one of the things that’s been great about working with you is that you are really great with your patients. So your patients love you. That’s not a problem. The issue is, how do we get in front of more patients?

(Speaker 1)
How do we help more people quickly? Can I ask you, what’s been your mindset going through the program?

(Speaker 2)
Because Carter and the team say you’ve been awesome to work with. What’s been your mindset when we’ve introduced you to A Proven Path? Whatever you tell me to do, I do. That’s the mindset. So you say this is going to help me grow, then I go do that, even if I’ve never done it before. It’s a huge learning curve on some of those things, but it’s worth everything because I have decided that if I’m going to develop into this amazing practice, You have the experience you’re teaching me the mindset had to change though because I’m like, I’m not a young dog I’m an old dog.

(Speaker 2)
And so I I’m looking at looking at how to do that

(Speaker 1)
things for the first time. I didn’t even have social media until after I hired you. And I’ll say this, probably the only time in the interview I’ll disagree with you. You’re certainly not old and you’re certainly not a dog. You are a young woman who’s doing a great thing. So first thing, I want to talk about the wins.

(Speaker 1)
I want to go through my stack of wins here. First off, you have gone through the process of optimizing your website. What’s it like knowing that you have a team where you’re paying $1 ,700 a month for our services? It is month to month. But what’s it like knowing that Hey, for $1 ,700 a month, I have a team that’s actually going to implement.

(Speaker 2)
I have a coach that’s going to tell me what to do, and I have an actual team that’s going to implement. What does that mean for you in terms of maybe mind freedom, or just what’s your mindset to having a team now that does this stuff? Initially it was overwhelming because I didn’t have anybody in my corner and knowing that I have someone in my corner and then holding me accountable every week I had a phone call and then any other time through the week I could talk to Carter. Carter is been an amazing partnership for sure, so thank you for that. But I know that if I have a question or if I have a need, he’s there. He can answer that question or help me kind of when my mind gets kind of in a frozen spot, he helps me shake that out.

(Speaker 2)
So I feel like knowing that you’re there, knowing that like, I can see on my like, I hear from other people saying, I used to never even know you existed. And now when I type in something, I see you. I didn’t even know you were there. I wish I would have found you a year ago. And so or I’m thankful that I found you now because a year ago you weren’t even anywhere I could see. So that’s been really kind of interesting.

(Speaker 31)
So I know that you and your team that are helping Illuminated Pathways, you’re making that happen.

(Speaker 1)
So I’m very grateful for that.

(Speaker 21)
that.

(Speaker 2)
How would you describe the impact it’s made on your life, having new patients find your practice? Oh, wow. The dream is happening. So for a few years, I’ve developed from a sole proprietor into an S -corp, did all the other things that I needed to do. The thing that was lacking is the know -how to get myself out there. So I think that was the biggest piece of that.

(Speaker 2)
Now, my dream that God has laid in front of me and told me, you know, that this is what I want for you and expand your territory. I’m like, I don’t know how to do that.

(Speaker 1)
And so that’s how I ended up with you. Like I came to you because of that dream that God gave me. Now, I don’t care what kind of business somebody has, everybody watching this show, everybody, we all have to do, and there’s, by the way, there’s many steps we’ll get into, but everybody watching this video, if you have a business on the planet Earth today, you got to master VISM, V -I -S -M. What does that mean? Video testimonials. You just have to get video testimonials from real customers.

(Speaker 1)
I, you have to have compelling images on your website. You just have to have, whether you’re building houses, or you’re a mental health professional, or you’re a dentist, you’ve got to have images. S, search engine relevancy. You’ve got to be top of those search engines. M, more Google reviews. You’ve got to get them.

(Speaker 30)
Can you talk about maybe the simplicity or knowing that there’s that simple system you have to do every week as it relates to marketing, the videos, the images, the search engine, the more Google reviews?

(Speaker 2)
What kind of impact has that made on your business? Huge. I know that I will ask now, not only did they just go to Google to find me, what did you type in the search bar to find me? What were the actual words that you used to find me? Or the pictures. They love the dogs, right?

(Speaker 2)
So we have therapy dogs. Or just different things that are going on around here. So I know that I had to become creative in the industry for Hippocampus. stuff to figure out how can I do those video reviews and how can I, but once I found that groove, it’s been sweet. And so I would say it’s been very impactful for the way that people are able to find me, because then they’ll say, I’ve read your reviews. And then I’ve read so many, like they’re all so great.

(Speaker 2)
So we have to try you all out. So not only are there reviews, used to be reviews just for me, now they’re reviews for the other ones that work here.

(Speaker 1)
So that’s been really beautiful too, is so that now everybody’s getting recognized also in that. And so now they know that we have a great team of people ready to serve the community. And again, I want to make sure I’m getting this right.

(Speaker 18)
I’m taking notes.

(Speaker 2)
I believe you said you’ve grown from one therapist to six, is that right? Correct. And then I just hired one. That’s going to be in about an hour from here. I’m going to be expanding to different locations, one in Sugar Land. So I’m in NASA Bay.

(Speaker 2)
down by the Johnson Space Center of Houston. And so I’m going to be opening a location in Sugar Land. And so that’s where my new counselor, she just signed on with us. And then I have found office space in Conroe, which is another hour and some minutes away from me.

(Speaker 1)
And so we just found office space. So now I just got to put the ad out and get ready to hire.

(Speaker 2)
And again, you’re in the mental health space. Is that how you describe what you do, the mental health space? Yes. Okay, so we’re biblically based.

(Speaker 1)
So we want to bring back the the original design that God created and bring that back to that. So whatever comes through the door, so whether that’s individual couples, family, help provide a structure and give people tools in their tool belt, if you will, to help them achieve the goals or the successes they’re looking for. Now, I’m going to pull up your website here, because again, I want people to see this is a real world You’re really growing it. This is real stuff here. For people out there that are in all 50 states, I mean, we have listeners that watch this show from Minnesota, people from Texas, people from all over the country, California.

(Speaker 1)
I mean, I’m just thinking of people I talked to today in Nashville, all over the place.

(Speaker 2)
Do you provide solutions for people all over the country? And if you do or you don’t, can you tell us what kind of solutions that you provide? So I’m kind of specific to Texas right now. However, I know that starting businesses across the country does not require me to have to be licensed in those states to do business in those states. So that’s something else that Carter is teaching me as well.

(Speaker 1)
I know that I have to kind of stay in my lane in Texas where my license is. However, there are people that do reach out to us from outside of our state and then we’ll provide them a venue of how to get help in their areas maybe with people that we might know or we might be able to feel like we could trust in those areas, especially if they’re looking for a specific type of counseling. Now when you grow a business, now anybody out there that’s growing a business, there’s a lot of nitty gritty stuff. Whenever you’re growing a business, there’s a lot of nitty gritty stuff that’s probably not the most exciting, but we have to master. And I’m going to keep going through that. Part of it is accountability.

(Speaker 1)
Um, a goal is a dream with a deadline. You know, Napoleon Hill once said a goal is a dream with a deadline. And I find that a lot of times business owners that we work with, you know, our average client is with us for six years or longer. It’s usually until they sell the business, but we work with a business owner.

(Speaker 25)
I find that most business owners respond well to having a to -do list and and things they need to get done by a specific date, like having a specific item they need to get done and having a to -do date in which to get it done.

(Speaker 2)
How has having a weekly meeting with a coach who’s providing you with specific action items that you need to get done and specific deadlines, how has that impacted your business? Huge. It’s huge. Although I was already a list taker already, I’m pretty OCD. So I really kind of need that structure anyhow.

(Speaker 2)
But having somebody also with me in that arena and holding me accountable to getting those things done and helping me jump through the hoops when I don’t see the hoop yet. It’s really nice to kind of know the tasks that are at hand. In addition, because I can get lost in my own thing that I need to do here with the patients and the different people that in the staff. Now that that’s new to me, he keeps me on track for the things that are yet to come. So it’s the here here we are doing this stuff and then now we’re going to reach this part.

(Speaker 1)
So it’s kind of bringing that bridge together to do all those things. It’s been huge. Now I’m going to pull this up so everybody can follow along if they want to. And for anybody, if you’re watching today’s show, you can go to Thrivetimeshow . com forward slash free dash resources. Thrivetimeshow .

(Speaker 1)
com forward slash free dash resources. And you can download the book here, How to Build a Successful Business for Free. You can download it 100 % for free right here. It’s the orange covered book. When you download the book, you can join us on page five if you’d like to. But what you have to do is you have to master all 13 aspects of growing a company.

(Speaker 1)
So I’m going to go lightning round with you, and I want to get kind of your 30 -second reaction to each box. So here we go. Box number one, you have to know your revenue goals. I don’t care how much you’re trying to do what you’re doing for the benefit of humanity. In your case, you really want to help people get their lives together to be well. I know that’s why you do it.

(Speaker 1)
You’re passionate about it.

(Speaker 2)
But at the end of the day, you have to know your revenue goals. How has that impacted you, knowing your revenue goals? I think it’s been really good. I know that being held accountable to that for every week and looking at that and and knowing what that looks like. We are now we have different systems put in place that are on the Google sheets where now we have a payment tracker what’s expected every day.

(Speaker 1)
up through the week. So having everything every week has been huge. Next area, folks, next area. This is box number two coming in hot. You have to know your break -even numbers.

(Speaker 2)
I mean, you have to know if you’re going to expand from one therapist to six, or in this case, you’re adding another one, you have to know, OK, how many patients does this therapist need to see to pay for themselves. And I’m not asking you to share that number, but how has that impacted you knowing how many patients a therapist needs to see before they break even for you? I think that’s been valuable so that I would understand like if some therapists only want to work two days a week, what that’s going to look like to get the biggest bang for the buck, if you will.

(Speaker 1)
And then those that want to work a little bit more. So I think that that’s been pretty spectacular and understanding what that’s going to look like based on how we’ve hired them on as a contract employee. Okay, moving on to box number three, coming in hot. Define the number of hours per week you’re willing to work. Now, in my case, I like to work six days, rest on the seventh. Somebody else watching this, you like to work five days.

(Speaker 1)
Somebody else watching this wants to work four days a week, whatever.

(Speaker 2)
But you have to know how many hours per week that you’re going to work, and you have to create some kind of accountability for your team, some sort of cadence, some sort of rhythm, some sort of routine. How important is it for you and your team knowing the hours of operation and just kind of having a schedule for the team? I think it’s pretty critical. I know that in general, I’ve had to learn not only to work in my business, I had to learn how to set boundaries so I can work on my business. So that was a big transition piece for me. So I know how to do really good inside the room with the client.

(Speaker 2)
But now I had to learn how to do things on my business. So I had to take time to do that.

(Speaker 1)
So I work about six days a week. I have to be pretty careful because I could be a workaholic if I’m not careful. Now we move on here to the next box, box number four. Define your unique value proposition.

(Speaker 2)
I guess this is the part that might sound like a commercial for your business, but what is it that you do differently over at your company, IlluminatedPathways -Therapy . net, than maybe a different traditional mental health professional? Number one, we have a therapy dog. We’re training a number two therapy dog.

(Speaker 1)
And we are in a residential housing. So it’s very, uh cozy and uh and then we also go for walks in nature so the very things that we preach we also walk and teach at the same time folks it’s powerful folks and and we’re biblically big biblically counseling based right so we we really want god’s foundational pieces so i guess that’s the that’s but i’ve already kind of said that sorry No, you’re great. Now, I just want people to understand like you’re able to rattle this off and we haven’t like pre -scripted this out or anything. I want people to know it’s because this is the kind of stuff that, you know, a lot of people you ask them, what do you do differently than your competition? They would struggle with that answer. But you know about the therapy dog, the biblically based, you have a system for it.

(Speaker 1)
Box number five, your branding. You just have to have first class website, first class print pieces, anything you do. You just have to have a great digital presence.

(Speaker 2)
How has that helped you, Ron, to knowing that, wow, $1 ,700 a month, you guys do all that for me. because I know so many consulting services will tell clients what to do but then every time that the client has to go do homework it involves the client paying more money to some other vendor to do more things. How has it helped you knowing that well all this happens under one roof? I feel I feel very comforted knowing that what you tell me to do And then I go do it and then the results are right there. It’s not like I’m waiting. It’s pretty instant.

(Speaker 1)
And I mean, give it, I understand there’s days that we implement these things, but I’m not waiting a month down the road. Within the week, the things that we talk about, the things that I’m told to do, then I give it back to you, and you do it, it’s done within the week, and it’s pretty awesome. Amen to that. All right, so box number six, a turnkey three -legged marketing system. What am I saying? A three -legged marketing stool.

(Speaker 2)
If you’re out there and you own a business and you don’t have a systematic turnkey way to generate leads from your ideal and likely buyers, if you don’t have a way to generate new prospects, new lifeblood into the business, new buyers, that could be a really weird place to be. How much has it helped you knowing that, wow, my phone is going to ring with new people reaching out? Pretty pretty awesome. I know that just this week honestly today and then over the week there was two different booths across the state of Texas that illuminated pathways participated in.

(Speaker 1)
So we were the purple cow table with the yellow covering where everybody else’s table was black and ours was purple. yellow and we had different little brains all over it and just different fun stuff and So I know that having what you all do for us, too And I wouldn’t have known about the purple cow idea without Carter either So I think that a little bit of everything that marketing piece Teaching me teaching me to go to Amazon figure out what to buy to have fun with that purple cow idea and then go and do that and implement That’s been pretty fun Amen. Now again, folks, on part two of today’s show, I’m going to share with you a story about a pest control company in sunny San Diego that is implementing these systems, and they have 300 competitors. So we have a client who has 300 competitors in San Diego. And by the way, he’s competing against huge companies and he’s winning. How’s he winning?

(Speaker 1)
The same system that Rhonda’s doing. So if you’re watching today’s show and you have a real product, a real solution for real people that really does solve real problems, we can help you. Box number seven, you got to have a sales system. You got to have recorded calls and sales calls. and processes. And as you’re growing your practice, those are going to become a bigger and bigger part of the practice is sales scripts and sales systems and pre -written emails and a customer relationship management system.

(Speaker 1)
And we’re building all that stuff. Box number eight, you’ve got to figure out how much does it cost me to get a new customer? And we’ll talk more about that, folks, on future shows. How much does it cost you to get a new customer? You have to document that number somewhere. How much does it cost you to get a new customer?

(Speaker 1)
Box number nine, you have to create repeatable systems. And one thing I love about Rhonda is Rhonda. is the gold standard. She’s the prototype. You do very well with patients in a room. If you have a patient, you sit down with them, they love you, but you had to teach other people who are not you how to do what you do.

(Speaker 2)
How gratifying has it been for you to now get positive reviews and feedback from other people, from other therapists, from your employees, you have people that work for you, and now you’re getting great feedback about the results they’re generating and it’s not you. How much does that, how’s it, how’s that, I guess, how’s it felt to go to grow from me to we. And well, you know, as a therapist, you know, I can say, Oh, it’s very emotional, right? But it is, you know, because it’s been beautiful, because I’ve had to really, really trust the Lord in that process. And believing that just letting them know what I’ve taught them how I did orientation with them, teaching them the very tools, having them shadow for a few days to know exactly what this looks like and then setting them free and then allowing that to happen. The feedback’s been phenomenal.

(Speaker 2)
I’m really, really proud of my staff and I look forward to even like what that growth will even look like down the road. And so I really believe that the process that we do here, the scripts that we use, the actual paperwork, the routine pieces of paperwork, we don’t stray off. We just stay If it’s not broke, we don’t fix it.

(Speaker 1)
And that’s working. So that’s the telltale sign for what we do here. Now, box number nine, again, we have to have repeatable systems. That’s checklists and processes. Box number 10, you have to learn how to manage people. This just in, folks, we’ll teach you how to hire, how to inspire, how to train, how to retain good people, how to hire, inspire, train, retain.

(Speaker 1)
There’s a whole system for hiring people we can teach you. Box number 11, you have to have a repeatable system, a repeatable system for your schedule. You have to create a sustainable and repeatable schedule. so that your team can operate in a sustainable pace where everyone’s not operating at burnout mode all the time. Box number 12, you have to create a system for onboarding new employees, those human resources, creating human resources and recruitment systems. How do you hire and train and retain high -quality people?

(Speaker 1)
Box 13, it’s not about how much money you make. It’s about how much money you keep. So you have to have a system for tracking your numbers. We’ll help you on that, how to track your numbers. It’s not about how much money you make. It’s about how much money you keep.

(Speaker 1)
And box 14, we got to make sure that you know you as the owner of the company are having a good time because what’s the purpose of growing a business if you hate your life and so we want to help you do that and that’s where you sit down and you make a list of your goals for your faith and your family and your finances and your fitness and your Friendship, someone’s trying to write that down. You make your goals for your faith and your family and your finances and your fitness and your friendship and hopefully your business. The goal is for your business to be able to financially provide you the resources needed to achieve those goals.

(Speaker 2)
Rhonda, what do you say to somebody out there that’s on the fence, they’re thinking about going to thrivetimeshow . com and scheduling a free 13 -point assessment with myself, or they’re thinking about coming to a two -day interactive business workshop? Well, you know, I have always been a person that I want to be a good steward of what God’s given me. And so I know I don’t want to take out a loan for my business. But when I took the faith to come to the business conference, and took the courage to come up and ask you a few questions, to help me. I’m trusting with the Lord.

(Speaker 2)
It’s God’s economy that’s taking care of it. Nothing makes sense right now. It’s just amazing. And so I would say jump in. Jump in and don’t know. I have no regrets, right?

(Speaker 2)
And it’s been amazing. I never would have dreamed that just in what no matter what seven months that I went from just one therapist to six hiring another and getting ready to open two different offices aside from this one. So I would say if you really want to grow and you really feel that this is the dream that God has for you or whoever, wherever that is that you believe in. But if you believe that that’s what you want to do. We live in America. It’s been amazing.

(Speaker 1)
And so I would say you can hire whoever you want. But if you want the best growth, I would suggest Thrive Time Show.

(Speaker 2)
Now, uh, you know, what we do is month to month and I do it because I don’t want to lock people into a contract, which I find typically not always, but typically people get locked into a contract as a result of it starts with a con and then they’re stuck in a weird track. How much did it mean to you knowing that there wasn’t a contract that it was month to month when you started working with our team seven months ago? I think it gives me the leverage to say when I don’t want to do something. But what I’m finding is that I don’t want to do it more, right? And so and just to know how much more I value I get from something.

(Speaker 1)
But just the idea of like, you know, just saying I can’t, I can’t do no more, right? But the word can’t is it my vocabulary, so I’m going to keep going. Now, you’ve been to the workshop. How would you describe the workshops? I’m sure you’ve met some people at the workshops.

(Speaker 2)
You’ve attended the workshops. How would you describe the workshops themselves?

(Speaker 1)
So I’ve been to two now, one in March and then one just recently, September, I believe.

(Speaker 2)
And so my favorite was the clean while you whistle or whistle Whistle while you clean, Karime the mother and Sophia the 15 -year -old girl. Yes, the 15 -year -old girl, well her mom too, they’re both beautiful people but I tell you what that 15 -year -old just lit a fire inside of me and said just the things she was so mature and so and just bright, like, and she thought about things and she just was able to answer your questions right on the spot. And I’m like, it was phenomenal. But they were pretty inspiring, knowing that just how quickly that was the results of what they’ve been doing to as a mother and daughter. And so that was pretty cool.

(Speaker 2)
But I really believe that there was so many stories that you were able to bring up and people were able to share. I think that was pretty awesome. I like the Q &A.

(Speaker 1)
that Q &A was pretty good. But then I have to admit, having Eric Trump just three rows in front of me, that had to have been pretty awesome. Amen to that.

(Speaker 2)
Now, final question for you, final 30 seconds here. For anybody who’s looking for the solutions that you provide, could you tell us one more time, what are the solutions you provide, and who maybe is a good fit for your program over there at illuminatedpathways -therapy . net? So we take care of children starting at ages four and up, all the way to whatever age. And so we take care of anyone who has needs for a career, marriage work, family structure. parent coaching.

(Speaker 2)
We also do a Simbus assessment, save your marriage before it starts. It’s kind of, I really like it because it’s biblically based. We really do work hard at restoring families back to God’s original design. And we just really encourage people. We give them tools. Nobody’s broken.

(Speaker 2)
God created you okay. You know, you’re perfect just the way. But sometimes we need a little bit of help and assistance. And then I really am holistic. So I don’t really like the medication piece of that. That’s great.

(Speaker 1)
Go somewhere you want to do that, but I’m going to teach you how to holistically God created. our bodies to heal. And that’s what I really believe we can teach everyone to do. Rhonda, thank you so much for your time. I really do appreciate you joining the show today.

(Speaker 2)
Again, that’s Rhonda K. Velders.

(Speaker 1)
Thank you so much there, ma ‘am.

(Speaker 3)
And we’ll talk to you soon. OK, thank you. Bye bye. So we’ve almost doubled. We went from 50 leads to 85 leads on average a week that we’re seeing. But I’ll tell you what, mentioning the branding and the website, I like that you pulled up at the beginning, Clay, our first suncoastpestmanagement .

(Speaker 3)
com and then the ca . com because that was our first website and there was no traffic. Things weren’t happening. And we left that up while we transitioned over to the Thrive Time team and the website. And it’s been unbelievable the amount of traffic that we’re seeing in the digital between the two that we’re going live. So now we’re taking that website down this month and pointing that website to our new website.

(Speaker 3)
But what we’re finding is it’s a vism. I know if anyone doesn’t know what the vism is, it’s the video imaging, images, search engine optimization, and then the more reviews. What we focus on is the video testimonies, the images, and the reviews. We let you guys take care of the search engine stuff. But seeing the difference in the website, we know it’s working. We know the pages and the content on the back end is working.

(Speaker 3)
You gotta take the step. You gotta step out there and experience it for yourself. That’s $1 ,700, it’s nothing. I mean, that’s a no -brainer deal, to be honest with you, Clay. I mean, the $1 ,700 that we pay from the coaching that I’ve got, the system implementation, things that work from group interviewing and getting the right people on our team, you can’t put a price on it. You just really can’t.

(Speaker 3)
I know what we paid for our website before, we’re paying less now than what we were paying before, and we’re getting better results now, so it really is just a no -brainer for us. that’s really looking to grow their business.

(Speaker 1)
I’m telling you, call me, I’ll tell you. Give my number. You call me and I’ll tell you, you’re making the right decision. Okay, folks, on today’s edition of The Thrive Time Show, we’re interviewing a real person. I think so many people say, I want to become successful, but can I do it? I think that’s something that lingers in the minds of some people is, can I do it?

(Speaker 3)
So what I try to do on The Thrive Time Show is I try to bridge the gap from where you are to where you want to be and to show you that it’s 100 % possible, that it’s 100 % doable by introducing you to real clients that are really implementing the real systems that really work. And with that being said, Sean, welcome onto The Thrive Time Show. How are you, sir?

(Speaker 1)
Doing good. Thanks, Clay.

(Speaker 3)
Thanks for having me.

(Speaker 1)
Now, for anybody who might think that you’re a hologram or just a male model, tell us your first and last name.

(Speaker 3)
And what’s the name of your company?

(Speaker 1)
Sean McGough, and it’s Suncoast Pest Management. And for people who want to visit your website, where’s the best place people can go to find your website? It’s suncoastpestmanagementca . com. OK, so suncoastpestmanagement . com.

(Speaker 1)
Is that you right there, sir? It’s ca .

(Speaker 3)
com. So SuncoastPestManagementCA .

(Speaker 1)
com. Sean, tell us about your company there. What exactly do you do at SuncoastPestManagementCA .

(Speaker 3)
com? Yeah, we take care of all pest control, from rodents to wildlife to termites to just general pests, from ants to roaches. And we take care of commercial, residential. And we take care of San Diego, Riverside, and the Orange County area. Now, for anybody out there that is watching this show, people hear about this show from a variety of sources, some from their friends, some from family, some from Spotify. How did you originally come in contact with The Thrive Time Show?

(Speaker 3)
That’s a good question, Clay. You know, I was invited by a friend of mine. He had joined with you guys and had a drywall business. And he said, you got to come out here. And I was skeptical at first.

(Speaker 3)
I said, you know, I’ll go, but I’m just going to tell you, I’m not doing anything. I’m not joining anything. I’ll go and check it out. He said, well, come on.

(Speaker 1)
Oh, now I knew within the first three hours I was looking for you guys. I was like, I got to join this. I got to join this. I want to belong to this. The excitement, the energy was just next level. And I just really knew that this was something that would benefit our company.

(Speaker 1)
Now, the thing I try to do, and I think you’ve been a great fit for our organization, it’s really a win -win, but I always tell great people like you, I say, listen, we want to have a shalom relationship with you. We want to have a win -win.

(Speaker 3)
A lot of relationships start with a weird contract. Somebody gives you a con, and they lock you on a weird track. How would you describe the nature of our relationship? It is month to month. We do charge you $1 ,700 a month. But how would you describe, as a business owner, what it’s like entering into a relationship with a business coach platform when you know it’s month to month.

(Speaker 3)
You know, it’s been awesome because I meet with Sean Lohman. He’s my business coach. And we look forward to it. It’s been exciting. He holds me accountable.

(Speaker 1)
It’s been fun. I know every week that he’s going to be wanting to better my business and helps me to better my business. And I just, again, just the excitement, the energy around it and the wanting to track the results, be on top of the numbers and to show the wins every week. I look forward to it. Let’s win. We got to win.

(Speaker 1)
Now, I’m going to pull up these steps that we teach. And for anybody out there who wants to follow along, you can go to thrivetimeshow . com forward slash free resources. Let me point that out again, folks. That’s thrivetimeshow . com forward slash free dash resources.

(Speaker 1)
So once you go to thrivetimeshow . com forward slash free dash resources, you can click on the book here, How to Build a Successful Business. It’s the orange covered book, How to Build a Successful Business. can download and read along. But if you haven’t downloaded the book yet, here we go. And we’re getting into page five.

(Speaker 1)
To grow a successful company, Sean, so many people say, how do I grow a successful company? And I tell them, well, you have to implement all 13 of these steps. And a lot of people say, yeah, yeah, yeah.

(Speaker 3)
I just want to focus on accounting. Or I just want to focus on marketing. Or I just want to focus on sales. So I want to go through each box on today’s show, rapid fire. 13 boxes, 20 minutes, want to get your reaction to it.

(Speaker 1)
So box number one, how has knowing your revenue goals, how has knowing your revenue goals, again, step number one is establish your revenue goals, how has having a clarity about your revenue goals impacted your business? You know, that’s another good question, Clay. Even coming into the business and being in the management industry and restaurant for so long and being new to, I mean, a business owner, it’s been seven years, but really trying to be successful running it as a manager and not really knowing and tracking where my break -even number was and what our revenue goals, what we really need to hit. every week. So that’s just been fun, exciting with the team, because everyone in our team now, the culture’s changed. Everyone knows what our breakeven number is.

(Speaker 1)
Everyone knows and is thriving to get those numbers each week so we can continue to grow the business. I just, again, folks, you talk about who’s a good fit. It’s anybody out there willing to put in the work. And Sean and his team do a great job. And I encourage everyone to check out their website. Box number two, you have to determine the breakeven numbers.

(Speaker 1)
That’s how much stuff do you have to sell Just to break even, as you mentioned, you have to know that number. Box number three, you have to define how many hours per week you’re willing to work. And I know business owners out there, Sean, that aren’t frankly willing to work more than 40 hours a week. I also know business owners out there that aren’t willing to work 30 hours a week. I also know business owners out there that aren’t willing to work 20 hours a week.

(Speaker 3)
And you do have to put forth a certain amount of effort. I recommend working six days, resting on the seventh. And some of you watching this show, maybe your day off is a Thursday, your day off is a Saturday, your day off is a Sunday. But I recommend that people have to be really honest with themselves that they’re willing to put in the work. Could you talk about that, just the willingness you have to put in the work?

(Speaker 3)
Yeah, and you know, if it’s a willingness to put in the work, I was always put in the work. I would work six to seven days. The difference now is I’m working on the business and not in the business. You could I would work around the clock and be willing to work around the clock. The difference is now is that I’ve stepped back. I’m looking at the business from a different perspective than just in the day to day grind.

(Speaker 3)
So, yes, I’m working the hours, but it’s it’s and I’ve always I’ve always been one to work. I love to work. I enjoy working.

(Speaker 1)
I’m still doing the same amount of hours. I’m still doing six six -day work weeks. I rest on the seventh, like you mentioned. But it’s just different now, because we’re seeing results. So the excitement and the energy is just fun. It’s just a good time.

(Speaker 1)
Let’s talk about that for a second.

(Speaker 3)
What kind of results have you seen?

(Speaker 1)
Again, most of the people we interview on this show, when I ask them how long they’ve worked with us, the clients will say, I’ve worked with you guys for 10 years, or eight years, or seven years. You’re kind of newer to the program.

(Speaker 3)
You’re somewhat newer to the program. So approximately how long have you worked with our team? And just what kind of results have you seen so far? It’s been amazing. It’s been three months now, and I’ll tell you what, just things like my business coach reaching out to me for the weekend saying, hey, have you listened to your phone calls? Have you listened to your recordings?

(Speaker 3)
No, not really. I think it’d be a good idea. And we had this auto receptionist answering, if you’d like to select this, press one. If you want a movie with your pest control, press two. I mean, really, I thought that was legit. I thought, hey, this is a way to show we’re bigger, even bigger than what we are.

(Speaker 3)
And so I thought, to get it into the right hands, but we were watching the calls just rotate, rolling and rolling where it’s like, it’s like, go here and then go here and then. it got, the call center would take in and say, well, let me try to get ahold of this sales guy. Let me try. And it just was moving all over.

(Speaker 1)
We got rid of this auto receptionist deal and we got people answering the phones. We’re getting great feedback and our leads are converting. It’s just, I mean, I’m telling you, it’s simple stuff, but it’s things that I need to see for myself. And it’s just exciting to see those things actually unfold now. You probably can hear the excitement in my voice, Clay. I’m just excited.

(Speaker 7)
This is a good time.

(Speaker 1)
You’re implementing everything, and I love it. Now, box number four, you have to figure out what makes you different. In this world, this clutter of commerce, there’s so many great businesses out there. Again, I’ll pull up your web address, suncoastpetmanagementca . com, suncoastpetmanagementca .

(Speaker 3)
com. What is it that really sets you apart in the San Diego market? For anybody out there that doesn’t know, San Diego is a gorgeous area. The cost of living can be punishingly high. There are many service providers out there, and you are servicing really some of the nicest communities in San Diego. What is it that separates Suncoast Pet Management CA .

(Speaker 3)
com from the competition?

(Speaker 1)
Good question Clay. Really it’s a one -stop shop for everything. A lot of pest control companies will sell you on one thing but they can’t do another thing and so people and customers have to get multiple different companies to do different things. We do rodent proofing, we do termite tanning, we do just a general pest day -to -day stuff. We do wildlife trapping and removal.

(Speaker 3)
So there’s that.

(Speaker 1)
And then we have a same -day free inspection. We want people to see the Suncoast different. We want them to see our staff and the culture that we’ve created and the quality of our work we stand by. So when we get out there, there’s nothing to lose. It’s a same -day free inspection. And then that first service, we’re offering an 80 % off that first service.

(Speaker 1)
Now, folks, we move on here to the next box. Again, these are all the steps we need to implement here. There’s a lot of details that go into these steps, but I just want to give you a nice overview, folks, of the kind of impact you can truly have on your business if you’re willing to schedule a free consultation and implement the moves. Box number five, branding. You’ve got to nail down your branding, folks. On a scale of 1 to 10, you’ve got to be honest.

(Speaker 1)
If 10 is the best and 1 is the worst, how highly is the branding of your business? How high quality is the branding of your company? If 10 is like Tiffany, the Tiffany Jewelry Company, and 10 is Nike and then one is, I don’t know, maybe a disgruntled Kearney who’s pitching port -a -potties at the State Fair. That’s on a scale of 1 to 10. Where do you fall into that? And if you feel like you need to optimize your website, your print pieces, your branding, I encourage you to take action in that regard.

(Speaker 3)
Box number six, you have to create a sustainable three -legged marketing stool. You have to create a turnkey way, Sean, to generate leads. In so many businesses, they’re excited, they’ve got great branding, but they have no leads. They’ve got a million followers on TikTok, but they have no leads. They’ve got a lot of people that follow him on Instagram, but they have no leads. Could you talk about the increase you’ve seen on the actual amount of leads that you’re now seeing of new customers, new lifeblood entering into your company?

(Speaker 3)
Yeah, so we’ve almost doubled. We went from 50 leads to 85 leads on average a week that we’re seeing. But I’ll tell you what, mentioning the branding and the website, I like that you pulled up at the beginning, Clay, our first suncoastpestmanagement . com and then the ca . com because that was our first website and there was no traffic. Things weren’t happening.

(Speaker 3)
And we left that up while we transitioned over to the Thrive Time team and the website. And it’s been unbelievable the amount of traffic that we’re seeing. and the difference between the two that we’re going live. So now we’re taking that website down this month and pointing that website to our new website.

(Speaker 1)
But what we’re finding is it’s abysm. I know it’s doesn’t know what the vism is, it’s the video imaging, images, search engine optimization, and then the more reviews. What we focus on is the video testimonies, the images, and the reviews. We let you guys take care of the search engine stuff. But seeing the difference in the website, we know it’s working.

(Speaker 1)
We know the pages and the content on the back end is working. This is what someone’s saying.

(Speaker 3)
Someone’s saying, all right, come on, let’s be real. You’re paying this guy, you’re paying Clay’s team, you’re paying the Thrive Time Show $1 ,700 a month, $1 ,700 per month, $1 ,700 per month. And we know it’s month to month, you claim, and we know that it’s less money than it would be to hire a minimum wage employee. But how could you describe the return on investment? Or how could you describe the value you’re getting? How would you say to Sean, anybody out there who says, how would you describe the value or the return on investment that you’re experiencing as a newer Thrive Time Show business coaching client?

(Speaker 3)
You gotta take the step. You gotta step out there and experience it for yourself. That $1 ,700 is nothing. That’s a no -brainer deal, to be honest with you, Clay. The $1 ,700 that we pay from the coaching that I’ve got, the system implementation, things that work from group interviewing and getting the right people on our team.

(Speaker 1)
You can’t put a price on it, you just really can’t. I know what we paid for our website before, we’re paying less now than what we were paying before and we’re getting better results now. So it really is just a no brainer for anyone that’s really looking to grow their business. I’m telling you, call me, I’ll tell you. Give them my number. You call me and I’ll tell you, you’re making the right decision.

(Speaker 1)
Now, you came to our workshop. And when you came to the workshop, it was so great to have you come to this most recent workshop. You know, Eric Tromberg. there. We often have Tim Tebow at our conferences and Eric Trump. And you’re at the conference.

(Speaker 1)
And I just can’t tell you how encouraging your words were for the attendees.

(Speaker 3)
I ran into probably, let’s say, a half dozen people that came up to me personally and said, thank you for bringing up Mr. San Diego, Captain San Diego. People would say, thanks for bringing that bug guy up there. Thanks for bringing that pest control guy up there. Thanks for bringing that guy. They’re like, he actually Really encouraged me. How would you describe the in -person two -day interactive business workshops?

(Speaker 3)
They encouraged me the same. I had people tell me the same thing. I’d be in line getting a coffee and people say, hey, you really encouraged me. Does this stuff really work? I said, I’m telling you, give it a shot, do it.

(Speaker 1)
It worked. But just being around other successful people in businesses, you can’t put a price on that. Just being able to interact with these people. There’s good people there and there’s a lot of people that have done it and they’re successful. And to mingle with that, to touch shoulders with people like that, again, you can’t describe it. There’s so much you get out of it.

(Speaker 1)
Somebody is starting to not believe what you’re saying because it’s too good.

(Speaker 10)
What’s your first and last name one more time?

(Speaker 3)
Someone’s going to look you up real quick. They’re going to look up your website.

(Speaker 7)
Is this guy real?

(Speaker 1)
One more time. What’s your first and last name and what’s the name of your website? Someone’s looking at you now. It’s Sean McGough. It’s SuncoastPestManagementCA . com.

(Speaker 1)
All right, again, folks, not a hologram, not a male model. He could be, but he’s not. So we continue.

(Speaker 29)
Box number seven, you’ve got to create a sales conversion system.

(Speaker 3)
The sales scripts you touched on earlier, call recording, one sheets, pre -written emails, lead trackers. Every time I’ve worked with a client, every single time I work with a client, and they install call scripts and call recording, the moment they put in call recording, call scripts, and tracking, a series of very uncomfortable epiphanies occurs when people recognize how much money is being repelled by dysfunctional phone answering services, dysfunctional phone answering people, poorly written scripts, not tracking. What kind of epiphanies did you have the moment you started installing call tracking, call scripts, recording? What kind of epiphanies did you discover? Oh, my goodness.

(Speaker 3)
It was sad. It was sad. As it is, I’m a person that I just don’t have very much patience. And a lot of us don’t. And as entrepreneurs, we want to get things done and move on. And there’s so, I mean, there’s 300 and some pest control companies in San Diego.

(Speaker 3)
It’s not hard to find somebody else. You don’t have time to be waiting two minutes to try to go through all this process of getting to the someone and moving around. It was so bad. And I just won’t forget, Sean’s like, hey, have you listened to your calls yet? and my business coach, and I said, no, I haven’t. Because Haibu, well, it was a website that we had before.

(Speaker 3)
They had it where you could hear some calls, but they would come through a tracker. And so we didn’t hear all calls. Now we’re with Clarity Voice, so we hear all calls. But just he said, are you listening to him? And I said, no, I haven’t. He goes, it’s painful.

(Speaker 3)
And that’s the honesty I love. I want to hear that. And so I took that night and listened to the calls. I said, oh, my goodness, why would anybody want to book with this?

(Speaker 1)
Yeah, it was. It definitely was a wake -up call to see and know. And now we got scripts in place, and we’ve coached and taught that. We listen to the calls, and we’re teaching the people. And we’re only three months, Clay. I can’t wait to tell you what it looks like in another three months and in a year.

(Speaker 1)
I just couldn’t be more excited for you and for the people out there that are meeting you at the conferences, because you’re encouraging so many people. And it really is contagious. Success is contagious. So is poverty, by the way. If you’ve ever grown up poor, poverty is contagious. I encourage everybody out there to run from poverty, to fight poverty, to become an enemy of average.

(Speaker 1)
Box number eight, feeling great. Determine sustainable customer acquisition costs. You have to know how much money does it cost you. How much money does it cost you to acquire a new customer? As an example. if you’re paying my team $1 ,700 a month and you’re saying you’ve almost doubled your amount of leads, you can track it and go, OK, this is how much I’m paying.

(Speaker 1)
This is what kind of lead flow I’m seeing.

(Speaker 3)
You need to know that number. You need to know how much does it cost you to acquire a new customer. Sean, Dr. Zellner has an entire podcast he’s recorded with me about this idea. And it’s so important to know how much money it costs you to acquire a new customer. Why is that empowering for you? for you to know how much it costs you to gain one new customer.

(Speaker 3)
That goes back to the breaking even number. Us knowing that has really helped us even to look at our pricing and where we’re at with the rates and our guys and going out there and managing that, because we know that now. We know exactly on the dollar what we need to make and what it’s going to cost us, $0 .38 per dollar. I can tell you, I didn’t know that before.

(Speaker 1)
But that’s what it takes us. It takes us $38 on $100. $38 on 100. And so now we know what we need to do. That’s our conversion for our customers. In order to make profit on that, on the hour, that’s what we need to make.

(Speaker 1)
Folks, this is real stuff. This is real stuff. This is the stuff behind the stuff. This is how you grow a successful company. Beyond the motivation, folks, this is the activation that’s required. Box number eight.

(Speaker 1)
I mean, after you’re motivated, that’s great. After you’re caffeinated, that’s exciting. But what you have to do is you have to implement these systems. So box number nine, you’ve got to create repeatable systems and processes and checklists.

(Speaker 3)
So that way, you can scale your business.

(Speaker 28)
You’ve got to work on the business, not just in your business.

(Speaker 1)
Could you talk about how important it has been to begin to really take the time away from actually killing bugs, working in the business, and to focus on killing repetitive issues by building checklists, processes, workflows? Could you talk about the impact that that kind of thing has made on your business? Oh, yeah, it’s been it’s been unbelievable, even just like we implemented a system for backing up. We do group interviews now once a week, and we were not doing that. So I would imagine. time.

(Speaker 1)
And we all know, you sit down with somebody, and you know within the first 10 seconds, like this guy or lady isn’t the right fit. They’re not going to fit my team. And now I got to feel like I’m almost obligated to waste more time with them. And so our group interviews, we get it out there. We do it every Wednesday. And at first, it was like, well, we didn’t need anybody.

(Speaker 1)
So what are we doing? But we realized that, you know, that bringing these people in we started it had to be a hell yeah we had to know we had the right people and so when we got this we just hired four people and I’m telling you that the rest of the team, it’s almost like I got to step up or get out because the culture is changing, but we’ve implemented systems now. where we have simple checklist, we have the management checklist when they’re out in the field coaching the team. We’ve got performance based pay now systems that we’ve put in place, but we’ve structured the phone calls and we’re coming in. So we just put all these different things in place are simple. We like simple, simple, simple is easy.

(Speaker 1)
We don’t want to complicate it. So we put one page systems in place to help everyone. Final two questions I have for you with the limited time we have. Again, folks, for anybody out there, if you want to know these systems, this is what we do. We do a free 13 -point assessment. And then if you want to become a client, our average client is with us for years and years.

(Speaker 1)
But what we do is we guide you down this proven path on a month -to -month basis. So box number 10, we’re going to teach you how to manage people effectively. You have to create effective management systems. Box number 11, you have to create a repetitive weekly schedule, kind of a theme, an anthem, a routine, a tradition, a way in which you work. Your team needs to know when they’re the staff meetings are going to be, and how you follow up, and how you name things, the nomenclature, the language, the common culture, all that matters. Box 12, create human resources systems.

(Speaker 1)
It’s all about hiring, inspiring, training, and retaining. How do you do that? Hiring, inspiring, training, and retaining. We have entire shows dedicated to that. We’ll help you through every aspect of your company. And then box 13, it’s all about accounting, all right?

(Speaker 1)
It’s not about how much money you make, it’s about how much you spend. you keep. I repeat, it’s not about how much money you make. It’s about how much money you keep. And we do work on that as well. Box 13, you might say, well, what’s the point of growing a successful company?

(Speaker 1)
The point of growing a successful company is so you can do what you believe God has called you to do. And so then you have the financial freedom to pursue goals for your faith and your family and your finances and your fitness and your friendship and your fun and all those things cost money. So again, with a little bit of money, you have the money available. to pursue your goals for your faith, your family, your finance, your fitness, your friendship, and your fun. Final two questions I have for you, Sean. One, for anybody out there watching this show right now, they’re thinking about going to thrivetimeshow .

(Speaker 1)
com. They’re thinking about scheduling a 13 -point assessment.

(Speaker 3)
They’re thinking about coming to an in -person workshop. They’re on the fence. They say, I know I can pay $250 or whatever price I want to pay for a conference ticket. I know that I get a free consultation, a free 13 -point assessment. But I don’t know. What do you say to them, Sean?

(Speaker 3)
What are you waiting for? We literally have our conversion, our percent conversion has gone up on our lead conversions. We were only converting 38%. We’re converting almost 70 % now of our leads. And it’s all proven systems that are in place. I’m telling you, it doesn’t make any sense not to do it.

(Speaker 3)
You’re investing in your business and the $1 ,700 is fair in all honesty to what we’re getting as a result in value. in return.

(Speaker 1)
So it really is, Clay.

(Speaker 3)
I know you didn’t put me up to that, but what are we waiting for? What are you waiting for? Make the call, fix it, get it done. It works. They’re proven systems.

(Speaker 1)
They work. You probably hear the excitement in my voice, Clay. It’s just, I can’t tell you. I’ve never experienced anything like this. It’s just, it’s like unreal. You can’t fathom.

(Speaker 1)
You’ve got to get out there and do it and feel it for yourself. Well, the final question I have for you is, you know, I designed Thrivetimeshow . com to be for me. You know, I designed what I do I I designed the business coaching services that I’ve done for 20 years for myself.

(Speaker 1)
Because I had companies, and I thought, man, if, because people kept telling me, Clay, your businesses are rocking and rolling. Could you help me grow my company? They said, man, your company, djconnection . com, it’s rocking. Man, your company, Epic Photos is rocking. Man, your party rental company, Party Perfect, it is rocking.

(Speaker 1)
Man, that dentistry you work with, that thing is rocking. Man, the businesses that you touch are working.

(Speaker 3)
You guys have the Midas touch over there.

(Speaker 1)
Could you help me? And I always would tell people, well, I’d like to, but you’re going to need a photographer, videographer, web developer, search engine team, a coach, an implementer, someone to follow up. You’re going to need to have a conference you come to. to stay supercharged, you’re going to need to have best practice systems for everything. And there wasn’t anything out there like it. What’s it like knowing that you have a flat monthly rate that you’re paying and you get all that support included with the program?

(Speaker 1)
Again, now my business is rocking, let’s just say that. I’ve watched it, I’ve seen and I’ve heard in these meetings and the conference, other people talking about their business and the success and seeing it and feeling it for myself now, it’s incredible. Sean, thank you so much for your time. I really do appreciate you. I encourage everyone to check out that website. Let’s bring some clarity to that website again here.

(Speaker 1)
I’m going to pull up one more time.

(Speaker 3)
Everybody out there, if you enjoyed this show, maybe you said, this show, Clay, I liked the guest, but I didn’t like you.

(Speaker 27)
And that’s fine.

(Speaker 11)
But I would encourage you to check out suncoastpestmanagementca .

(Speaker 4)
com. I’ll put a link on the show notes so you can get there easily. And again, folks, we really do appreciate you taking time to enjoy today’s show. And Sean, thank you so much for encouraging our listeners. And we’ll talk to you soon. Oh, thanks for having me, Clay.

(Speaker 4)
Good time.

(Speaker 11)
Appreciate it.

(Speaker 16)
Take care.

(Speaker 5)
Bye -bye. My name is Kevin Thomas and the name of our company is MultiClean. We are a commercial janitorial service and we serve the entire state of Oklahoma and Kansas and soon to be Arkansas. We have probably grown probably five times. I think when we first started with you, we had 60 to 65 employees, and now we have a little over 300 employees.

(Speaker 26)
Before we got involved with Thrive Time, we didn’t really have any systems or processes in place.

(Speaker 25)
In six, seven years, I’ve probably been to 12 to 13 business conferences and Amazingly, each time I go, I learn something new and I’m so excited to bring it back and show the team about marketing and how to implement.

(Speaker 5)
Clay Clark is here somewhere. Where’s my buddy Clay?

(Speaker 1)
Clay’s the greatest.

(Speaker 12)
I met his goats today.

(Speaker 7)
I met his dogs. I met his chickens.

(Speaker 1)
I saw his compound. He’s like the greatest guy. I ran from his goats, his chickens, his dogs. So this guy’s like the greatest marketer you’ve ever seen, right? His entire life, Clay Clark, his entire life is marketing. OK, Aaron Antis, guess who’s joining us for the December 4th and 5th, 2025 Thrive Time Show Business Growth Workshop?

(Speaker 1)
Whoa. Ooh. Santa Claus? No, we will not be joined by Santa Claus, but we will be joined by Eric Trump, the son of the 45th and now 47th president of these United States. And yes, Amanda Grace will be in the place. And yes, Dr. Stella Manuel will be there, so you know it will go well.

(Speaker 1)
Yes, we have Mel Kaye in the house. Pastor Phil and Tammy Hodson -Piller will be hosting this event at their beautiful church right there in sunny Anaheim, California.

(Speaker 13)
Yes, folks, make this a December to remember.

(Speaker 1)
Make this a December to remember and join us at the two day interactive business growth workshops. For over 20 years, folks, I’ve been hosting business growth workshops, where we’re going to teach you marketing, sales systems, human resources, accounting, social media marketing, branding, sales training, search engine optimization, accounting, workflow development, financial management, all this and more. How do you get tickets?

(Speaker 24)
Go to Thrivetimeshow .

(Speaker 1)
com. Again, how do you get tickets? Go to Thrivetimeshow . com and request tickets today. Trump. People don’t know this, but the Trump Organization has thousands of employees.

(Speaker 1)
There’s not 50 employees. The Trump Organization, again, most people don’t know this, but the Trump Organization has thousands of employees. And while Donald J. Trump was the 45th president of these United States, and this just in from our home office, President Donald J. Trump is now the 47th president of these United States as well. I’m Ron Burgundy. he needed someone to run the companies for him and so the man that runs the trump organization for donald j trump as he was the 45th president of the united states and now the 47th president of the united states is eric trump so eric trump is here to talk about time management Promoting from within, marketing, branding, quality control, sales systems, workflow design, workflow mapping, how to build.

(Speaker 6)
I mean, everything that you see, the Trump hotels, the Trump golf courses, all their products, the man who manages them. Billions of dollars of real estate and thousands of employees is here to teach us how to do it. You are talking about one of the greatest brands on the planet from a business standpoint.

(Speaker 23)
I mean, who else has been able to create a brand like the Trump brand?

(Speaker 22)
I mean, look at it.

(Speaker 21)
And this is the man behind the business for the last, pretty much since 2015.

(Speaker 1)
He’s been the man behind it. So you’re talking, we’re into nine going into 10 years of him running it. And we get to tap into that knowledge. That’s going to be amazing. Now think about this for a second. Nothing is over until we decide it is.

(Speaker 1)
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? German? Forget it. Eddie! The lineup continues to grow, and this is how we do our tickets here at the Thrive Time Show. If you want to get a VIP ticket, you can absolutely do it.

(Speaker 1)
It’s $500 for a VIP ticket. We’ve always done it that way. Now, if you want to take a general admission ticket, it’s $250 or whatever price you want to pay. And the reason why I do that and the reason why we do that is because we want to make our events affordable for everybody. I grew up without money. I totally understand what it’s like to be in a tight spot.

(Speaker 1)
So if you want to attend, it’s $250 or whatever price you want to pay.

(Speaker 20)
That’s how I do it.

(Speaker 1)
And it’s $500 for a VIP ticket. have limited seating here with there’s a lot of togetherness and closeness camaraderie so again if you want to get tickets for this event all you have to do is go to thrive timeshow .

(Speaker 7)
com go to thrive timeshow .

(Speaker 8)
com when you go to thrive timeshow .

(Speaker 1)
com you’ll go there you’ll request a ticket boom or if you want to text me if you want a little bit faster service you say i want you to call me right now i just texted my number it’s my cell phone number my personal cell phone number we’ll keep that private between you, between you, me, everybody. We’ll keep that private. And anybody, don’t share that with anybody except for everybody. That’s my private cell phone number. It’s 918 -851 -0102. 918 -851 -0102.

(Speaker 1)
I know we have a lot of Spanish speaking people that attend these conferences. And so to be bilingually sensitive, my cell phone number is 918 -851 -0102. That is not actually bilingual.

(Speaker 19)
That’s just saying Juan for a Juan.

(Speaker 1)
It’s not the same thing. I think you’re attacking me. Now, let’s talk about this. Now, what kind of stuff will you learn at the Thrive Time Show Workshop? So, Aaron, you’ve been to many of these over the past seven, eight years. So let’s talk about it.

(Speaker 1)
I’ll tee up the thing and then you tell me what you’re going to learn here, OK? OK. You’re going to learn marketing, marketing and branding. What are we going to learn about marketing and branding? Oh, yeah.

(Speaker 18)
We’re going to dive into, you know, so many people say, oh, you know, I got to get my brand known out there like the Trump brand.

(Speaker 1)
Right. You want to get that brand out there. It’s like, how do I get that brand out there? know what my business is and make it a household name? You’re going to learn some intricacies of how you can do that. You’re going to learn sales.

(Speaker 1)
So many people struggle to sell something. This just in, your business will go to hell if you can’t sell. So we’re going to teach you sales. We’re going to teach you search engine optimization, how to come up top in the search engine results. We’re going to teach you how to manage, how to manage people. Aaron, you used to be a salesman.

(Speaker 1)
I mean, you have managed, no exaggeration, hundreds of people throughout your career and thousands of contractors. And most people struggle with managing people. Why does everybody have to learn how to manage people? Well, because, first of all, people are, you either have great people or you have people who suck. So it can be a challenge. You know, learning how to work with a large group of people and get everybody pulling in the same direction can be a challenge.

(Speaker 1)
If you have the right systems, you have the right processes, and you’re really good at selecting great ones. And we have a process we teach about how to find great people. When you start with the people who have a great attitude, they’re teachable, they’re driven, all of those things, then you can get those people all pulling in the same direction. So we’re going to teach you branding, marketing, sales, search engine optimization. We’re going to teach you accounting. We’re going to teach you personal finance, how to manage your finance.

(Speaker 1)
We’re going to teach you time management? How do you manage your time? How do you get more done during a typical day? How do you build an organization if you’re not organized? How do you do organization? How do you build an org chart?

(Speaker 1)
Everything that you need to know to start and grow a business will be taught during this two -day interactive business workshop. But let me tell you how the format is set up here. And again, folks, this is a two -day interactive 15. Think about this, folks. It’s two days. Each day, it starts at 7 AM, and it goes until 5 PM.

(Speaker 1)
So from 7 AM to 5 PM, two days. It’s a two -day interactive workshop. The way we do it is we do a 30 -minute teaching session. and then we break for 15 minutes for a question -and -answer session. So, Aaron, So, Aaron, what kind of great stuff happens during that 15 -minute question -and -answer session after every teaching session?

(Speaker 17)
I actually think it’s the best part about the workshops, because here’s what happens.

(Speaker 1)
I’ve been to lots of these things over the years. I’ve paid many thousands of dollars to go to them, and you go in there, and they talk in vague generalities, and they’re constantly upselling you for something, to get you to buy this thing or that thing or this program or this membership. And you leave not getting your very specific questions answered about your business or your employees or what you’re doing on your marketing. And what’s awesome about this is we literally answer every single question that any person asks. And it’s very specific to what your business is.

(Speaker 17)
And what we do is we allow you as the attendee to write your questions on the whiteboard.

(Speaker 1)
And then we literally, as you mentioned, we answer every single question on the whiteboard. And then we take a 15 -minute break to stretch and to make it entertaining when you’re stretching. That’s a true story. When you get up and stretch, you’ll be greeted by mariachis. There’s going to probably be alpaca here, llamas, helicopter rides, a coffee bar, a snow cone.

(Speaker 16)
I mean, there’s just…

(Speaker 1)
You had a crocodile one time. That was pretty interesting. I should write that down. Sorry for that one guy that we lost.

(Speaker 15)
The crocodile, we duct taped its face so that, right?

(Speaker 1)
We duct taped. It was a baby crocodile. And we duct taped. Yeah, duct taped around the mouth so it didn’t bite anybody. But it was really cool passing that thing around. I should do that.

(Speaker 1)
It’s a good idea. It’s going to be great. And then you’re in the company of hundreds of entrepreneurs. So there’s not a lot of people in America today. In fact, there’s less than 10 million people today, according to U . S.

(Speaker 1)
debt clock that identifies being self -employed. So if you have a country with 350 million people, that means you have less than 3 percent of our population that’s even self -employed.

(Speaker 14)
So it’s you only have three out of every 100 people in America that are self -employed.

(Speaker 1)
-employed to begin with and when Inc magazine reports that 96 % of businesses fail by default By default, you have a 1 out of 1 ,000 chance of succeeding in the game of business. But yet, the average client that you and I work with, we can typically double this. No hyperbole, no exaggeration. And I have thousands of testimonials to back this up. We have thousands of testimonials to back it up. But when you work with a home builder, when I work with a business owner, we can typically double the size of the company within 24 months.

(Speaker 1)
And you say, double? Yeah, there’s businesses that we have tripled. There’s businesses we’ve grown 8x. There’s so many examples you can see.

(Speaker 6)
see it thrivetimeshow .

(Speaker 13)
com.

(Speaker 1)
But again, this is the most interactive best business workshop on the planet. This is objectively the highest rated and most reviewed business workshop on the planet. Add to that Eric Trump, the man that runs the Trump organization. You say, Clay, I still I’m not going to get a ticket unless you give me more. Okay, fine. We’re going to serve you the same meal both days.

(Speaker 1)
True story. We have we cater food. And because simple, I keep it simple. I literally bring in the same food both days for lunch. Who’s with me? Let’s go!

(Speaker 1)
Incredible Mexican restaurant. That’s going to happen. Someone says, I want more. This is not enough. Give me more. OK. I’m not going to mention their names right now because I’m working on it behind the scenes here.

(Speaker 1)
But we just continue to add more and more success stories. So if you’re out there today and you want to change your life, you want to give yourself an incredible gift, You want a life -changing experience. You want to learn how to start and grow a company. Go to Thrivetimeshow . com.

(Speaker 12)

(Speaker 11)
Again, the event’s going to be on December 4th and 5th in sunny Anaheim, California.

(Speaker 1)
Great weather makes this a December to remember. Eric Trump, the man who leads the Trump Organization. It’s going to be a blasty blast. There’s no other way.

(Speaker 3)
Aaron, I could not be more excited about this event.

(Speaker 10)
I think it is incredible.

(Speaker 9)
And there’s somebody out there right now you’re watching and you’re like, but I already signed up for this incredible other program called Smoke Your Way to Thin.

(Speaker 1)
I think that’s going to change your life.

(Speaker 8)
I promise you this will be 10 times better than that.

(Speaker 1)
It’s like I picked the wrong week to quit smoking. Don’t do the smoke your way to thin conference. That is it. I’ve tried it. Don’t do it. Chain smoking is not a viable.

(Speaker 7)
I mean, it is life changing. It is life -changing. If you become a jade smoker, it is life -changing. Not the best weight loss program, though. Right. Not really.

So if you’re looking to have life -changing results in a way that won’t cause you to have a stoma, get your tickets at Thrivetimeshow . com. Again, that’s Aaron Antis. I’m Clay Clark.
