Which wasn’t nearly as much fun, all right? Don’s like the second child. The impact that these two guys had on the political landscape in this country, I cannot tell you how meaningful it was. That much I can promise you. I tried to sell, I called Laura, I said, Laura, you haven’t really lived until you’ve driven from Oklahoma to Portland in a white van. It’s got 150, great thing out of it. He got an unbelievable friendship out of me and he got an unbelievable respect out of so much of the country who loves him.

But these were the most well-attended events. But they sucked the blood and life out. They went after these guys and he never, ever stopped because he really believed. And honestly, it cost him much more than he made from it. This wasn’t a money-making venture. I mean, Clay really believed he wanted to see this country saved, and he just was relentless in this pursuit. And Vanessa was the same way, I mean, relentless in this pursuit.
