Some shows don’t need a celebrity narrator to introduce the show, but this show does. In a world filled with endless opportunities, why would two men who have built 13 multi -million dollar businesses altruistically invest five hours per day to teach you the best practice business systems and moves that you can use? Because they believe in you, and they have a lot of time on their hands. This started from the bottom, Now they’re here. It’s the Thrive Time Show, starring the former U . S.
Small Business Administration’s Entrepreneur of the Year, Clay Clark, and the entrepreneur trapped inside an optometrist’s body, Dr. Robert Zunder. Two men, eight kids, co -created by two different women, 13 multi -million dollar businesses. Want to give you guys a lot of tools and we’re gonna go fast because we got about 45 minutes before we transition into the meet -and -greet And then that’ll be a great time for all and we’ll have a band jamming out. We have a lot of fun So we’re gonna go 90 miles an hour our final session here. So if you go to thrivetimeshow .
com forward slash resources, as of right now, I’ve written, we’ll call it. 41 books 42 books. I’m editing another one right now, but it’s basically every six months I’m finishing something that I’m proud of and if you want to download all those for free you can you just go to thrive timeshare . com forward slash free dash resources and As an example like I wrote a book last year because people keep how many of you have kids? So what’s happening is right now, I don’t know exactly what’s happening, but a lot of my friends are all getting divorced simultaneously or have been divorced. And they’re all coming to me and they’re like, oh, you know, marital wizard, oh, marital wizard, could you teach me marital things?
And I’m like, why are you coming to me? They’re like, you’re the only guy I know that’s still married. And I’m like, what? So that book is really about, the dad book, if you scroll up there, I think at the top you’ll see the dad book. It’s a book about what the Bible says about being a good dad. You know, and so I think the Bible has a lot to say about being a good dad.
I can’t say I’m the world’s best dad, but I think if you read the Bible, there’s a lot of the Bible that talks about the characteristics of being a father and how we should raise our kids. And so that’s what that’s about. But if you say, I just want to learn about precious metals and how that works and why I and many other informed investors buy precious metals, you can. Get the book on precious metals. If you want to learn how to optimize a website, you can do that. So there’s all these different books.
They’re all free. You can download thrivetimeshow . com forward slash free dash resources. Um, if you go to YouTube, we’ll go to YouTube real quick. And then type in on YouTube, Thrive Time Show Conference. I have a playlist that this gentleman was asking me about the music and the playlist.
I write a lot of music, so about half the songs you’ve been hearing are songs I’ve written. And then the other half are songs that, for the love of all that is holy, I didn’t write. So then you go, those are the ones I like. But you were asking me about a song I wrote. And so if you go to thrivetimeshow . com, look at conferences, that’s the playlist there.
And then about half of those are songs I’ve written. Or if you go to Spotify, and you look for my name, Clay Clark, you’ll find, we’ll call it 100 plus songs I’ve written over the years. And they’re songs that make sense to me, and they’re R &B, okay? Songs that make sense to me, and they’re R &B. So there’s one song I mentioned, if you go to YouTube and type in Can’t Take It With Me, Clay Clark, you’ll see it.
YouTube, Clay Clark, Can’t Take It With Me. This is a song that I wrote when I was doing my litigation. You know, I told you guys about the lawsuit, So I wrote this in the bathroom. So if you hit play on that, here’s just a sample of those kind of things you crank it up Crank it up crank it up Pause anyway, that’s the kind of stuff that I write. So that’s what I do So if you want to hear more of that stuff, so song you were asked me about that’s on that playlist You can find it. That’s what I kind of stuff.
I write so anyway, so that’s what that is So thrive timeshow . com forward slash free rope resources. If you go to thrive timeshow . com forward slash downloadables Downloadables there’s a test. There’s a system and a template for everything So how many of you bake things you have like a recipe book or recipes? These are like recipes for business success, and they’re all available to download I’ve been doing this for 21 years and Kind of a fun thing and one of our listeners pointed out a few months ago if you go to thrive timeshow .
com again forward slash downloadables you can download all those for free but if you go to Thrivetimeshow .com and com and you click on the testimonials button you could literally watch a new client testimonial every day for 2 ,000 consecutive days and not see the same one twice so it’s like 2 ,000 people that had a business that was stuck that’s now not stuck and it’s a two -part thing so it’s what I do is like a personal trainer for fitness you know so there’s been times in my life where I’ve really really dialed into the fitness thing and I’ll explain to you how it works right who’s done that you’ve dialed into fitness before you have to do your own push -ups right no one can do your push -ups for you right I mean and we have kind of a culture where we want to get educated there’s a place for that but then we need to get activated So you can’t blame your trainer if they don’t do your push -ups for you. Make sense? So in our consulting program, I pick on John Hendricks. The mover does a phenomenal job.
John knocks out his homework and then he wows his customers and so it works. But if you’re not willing to put in the work, it doesn’t work. But I want to transition real quick into ethical selling because it’s so important that we do that, okay? And then I like, who here has something you like doing that doesn’t make you money? Okay, so go to YouTube and type in End Times Love, Clay Clark. I love R &B, like I love, who loves Babyface?
Anybody else love Babyface? I love Babyface, I love R &B. We got one guy, I love Babyface. I love Babyface, so End Times Love, yeah. So what I like doing is writing songs that are about love, R &B, my wife, kids, and I mix in sprinklings of biblical whatnot, okay? So hit play on this one real quick.
You might not like it, it’s okay, but I do, here we go. I think this is the song you were talking about with the mushroom cloud. It’s a love song about the end times. Crank it up, Sean. These guys are great, by the way. If you go out and want to hang out with these, they’re kind of like a dog behavior.
They’ll let you pet them. They want to talk to you. They like to hang out. They eat all vegetation, though. They’re soul -sucking. They ate all my pine trees last week, these sickos, you know?
But they’ll get up high, too. They’ll do what they have to do. Who knows about goats? They’re crafty. They’re clever. And if they know you’re watching, they’ll put on a show.
They like to do, like, a laser kick, like a kung fu kick they want to do. They’re like, oh, people are watching. Let’s do some kicks. They jump around. When you’re watching, they just kind of lay around.
But if they see you, they’re like, oh, now it’s time to do a drop kick. Watch this move. And they’re running around. They headbutt each other for applause. I mean, these guys, they put on a show. But I like that.
But it doesn’t make any money. So I want to make sure we’re getting this idea. The business is just a vehicle to get you where you want to go. It’s not the end goal, if that makes any sense. Are we on the same page? So let’s talk about ethical selling.
So James, are you on a mic? Are you on a mic, James? This is James. Who’s ever talked to James on the phone? This is James. Yay!
So, James, make sure you eat that mic, okay? Got it. So if someone buys a ticket to anything ever, what percentage do you make? Six percent. Maybe it’s too high, maybe it’s too low. I don’t know.
Have you ever had weeks where the sales were not good? They’re the worst. Have you ever had weeks where the sales were good? Yep, those were the best. Now, Keith is a friend of yours. And if we go to Rumble real quick, and we pull it up, go to Rumble real quick, guys, and then look for, go to our channel, and then within our channel, look for Keith.
Keith owns a restaurant in Visalia, California. Who was at the Visalia Reawaken? And Devin Nunes says, you gotta go here for dinner. So we go there for dinner, and Keith tells me, hey, I stayed open during the lockdowns, my business went through hell, I got really bad reviews, and now I’m having a harder time getting new customers. as a result of doing the right thing, Matthew 5, 10, blessed are ye who are persecuted for righteousness sake. And you’re going to scroll down here, guys.
Keep scrolling until you find it, because it’s not an old show. It’s a pretty newer show. Keep going. We’re going to see Keith. There he is. Hit play here.
So Keith, from the time that he scheduled a consultation with me to now, he’s almost doubled his profits. Why? Am I a genius? No. No one can do your push -ups for you. I know the system.
He’s willing to do it for you. And this guy is the guy who made the connection. So this crazy guy, James, is like, bro, unless you hate yourself, sign up, man. And Keith is like, man, your guy’s really laying it on pretty thick. And I’m like, don’t worry about him. He’s getting paid commission.
Get out of here. But James is like, no, I’m telling you, it changes his life. Hit play. We just recorded this last week. Hit play. Here we go.
Crank it up. If it’s Cajun cuisine and live music you seek, boy, do we have the place. And in tonight’s Dine and Dish, Dale here hit the South Valley staple known for its food and fun entertainment. Yeah, Margot and Warren, for two decades, this Visalia hotspot has been serving up everything from seafood to steaks from Harris Ranch. Okay, scroll through a little bit, scroll through, scroll through a little more, scroll through. Let’s see Keith.
We’re looking for Keith. Keith, Keith, Keith, Keith, more Keith. Keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going You constantly pushing me has inspired me to continue to work, work, work, and the results will be there. Just keep hanging in there, keep working hard. All right, folks, for today’s show, I’ve made a visual aid. I’ve put it in what I like to call 60 -point font.
Crank it up. You’ll notice here I’ve spent a lot of time on this graphic. I can make it green. I can make it teal. Who knows? I can make it orange.
But I want you to focus in on this, folks. This is not a magic trick. A real thing. You see, in May of last year, a business did $165 ,000. of sales, and then this May, that same business did $215 ,000 of sales. Now, folks, see if you can follow along with me here.
If you take $165 ,000.. . Now, pause. I don’t want to bore you with the details here, but I just want to tell you, how many of you know your hard costs of opening a restaurant don’t double just because your sales doubled? You get this idea? Like, his overhead’s the same, but his revenue went up.
Okay. And so Keith came to this conference, his guitar, by the way, is in the top right. We have his guitar. When you walk in, his guitar is hanging up. I said, dude, if you hit those goals, I’ll buy you a freaking guitar. We’re going to celebrate your awesomeness.
And I think he’s going to come to the November event. But Keith loves James. But James, tell me about that interaction. When did you guys first start talking? Well, we met at the Reawaken tour and it was just, it was almost love at first sight. in a non -weird way, I gotta say that.
Now what we’re trying to achieve is, and I think you meant it in a weird way, and I’m gonna go with that. But what we’re looking for is shalom. And so I’ve made a diagram for you, but I want you to write the word shalom. And go to the very back of the book and write the word shalom, okay? The word shalom, look at the definition there, Jackie, pull that up there. The word shalom means a win -win.
That’s the way your marriage should be, come on! A win -win. I love my wife. She’s awesome. She’s great. Every once in a while, like Eric Trump, I remember the first time I met Eric Trump, Eric goes, is that your wife?
And he’s like, I don’t get it. And then over time, he’s always like, how’s your wife doing? How’s she doing? We were at his property for the first time. There was a family. We were in New York visiting him.
And Eric was giving us a tour. And Eric is like, can I ask you? What is your strategy towards raising these five kids? This is awesome. And Eric is really, we don’t agree on everything, I don’t agree with you on everything, you don’t agree with me on everything. But Eric really loves good moms.
Like he’s really into it. So like in the way you might be interested to meet like your favorite NBA player or favorite actor or favorite musician, he is like, I don’t exist. And he’s like, how are you doing it? He’s like, you got five? Wow, wow, they’re all great. I mean, these kids, I made them at the events.
They’re well behaved. What’s your strategy? What books are you reading? Did you homeschool? Did Clay say you homeschool? Wow, you’re a saint.
This guy calls me. He has Eric talk. He kind of talks in an aggressive, imagine his father slightly toned down. And he’s like, bro, you better treat that woman right. She is special. What a great wife you have.
Oh my God. And he’s very curious about how that works, because having a marriage and sustaining it requires work. Does it not? And it’s got to be a shalom, a win -win. It’s got to be a win for her and a win for me, right? So I’ve got to put her first.
She puts me first. It’s a win -win. So back into ethical selling, OK? On the left column is why someone will buy, and on the right column is why they won’t. This is sort of a trial scenario, okay? Like a trial legal system, okay?
The balances, the scales of the balances, right? So the solution, if you can clearly present the solution, then people will want to buy. So let’s go back to Keith’s business, okay? So why do you always tell people about how good the lobster was at his business? It was the biggest lobster tail I’ve ever had. It was like 24 ounces of the best thing I’ve ever ate.
And we don’t get paid a commission to pitch it, but every time I can, anytime I hear anybody who’s near Vasilia, I’m going, get out to that restaurant. It is so phenomenal. They’ve got a bar kind of atmosphere. It feels kind of like this on the first level. The second level is fine dining. Who’s been there before?
Okay, yeah, it’s awesome. But I don’t mind that it’s not cheap, and I’m okay that he makes a profit because it’s a win -win. Are we on the same page? So I went there on the, again, by show of hands, who was in Visalia at that event? Okay, so I heard that his sales went down because he stood up and kept his business open during the lockdowns. And so I talked to Flynn, General Flynn, I said, sir, backstage.
This is the kind of crap. Judy sees this kind of stuff. This is the kind of crap that happens backstage. I said, hey, what if we invite all 5 ,600 and whatever people to a meet and greet tonight at his restaurant? And Flynn’s like, what? I mean, can he handle it?
And I go, I’m not going to ask him. Let’s do it. So we get up on the mic and I’m like, ladies and gentlemen, I mean, some of you were there, you saw it. I’m like, ladies and gentlemen, tonight we’re doing a meet and greet. He doesn’t know this. And we’ve talked to the restaurant owner, what a great guy he is, right?
And we believe he’s agreed. You see what I did? We believe he’s agreed to host a meet and greet tonight. We agree, we believe that he’s agreed. We agree that he believes that we might, it’s a very like, What is he saying? It’s like when Trump says, they told me not to talk about Hillary, so I won’t talk about her.
They tell me, don’t say it, so I won’t say it. I’m not going to say she’s a horrible person. I wouldn’t do it. Not going to do it. I will not say she’s a horrible wretch. It’s like that weird apophysis thing.
We believe that he would like to host a meet and greet. And Keith’s over there on the stage like, I don’t know. So everybody who’s here, how many of you want to go to the meet and greet? So people are like, how big is this restaurant? And we show up, and you remember this. Yeah.
It was so packed that I’m upstairs and a VIP asked me, can you go down there and get me a beverage? So I take a $20 bill, and the guy who’s with me is trying to order a beverage. So I couldn’t get me a beverage. so I had to hand up $20 of cash to a guy who hands it to a guy who hands it to a guy who gets it to the guy and the bartender’s like what do you want and I’m trying to yell for this is one of our speakers I’m like he wants a cranberry vodka and he’s like what does he want it’s like passing down the message I get back a beverage that is no way shape or form has cranberry or vodka That’ll do! But it was this crazy atmosphere and he said he had the most sales he’s ever had ever and then it was just relentless. Who was at the meet and greet?
You were there. It was a relentless wave. It got so crazy he ran out of food. He ran out of food. They were buying drinks from around the corner. They were going to the bar next door to buy drinks from them to bring back to resale.
I mean, it was like a wild energy. I mean, they were out of food. People were like, I’ll just order bread. Let me get some bread. And the energy was awesome. The band was hype.
It was great. But the solution was they provided great food and entertainment. So I don’t feel bad. Does that make sense? Now, the no solution, white people don’t buy. If they don’t see a solution, they won’t buy.
So I’m asking you right now on your website, on your print pieces, are you being clear about the solution? Because there’s a lot of problems, is there not? We’ve got to find a solution, OK? So problems. The next, testimonials. Testimonials.
The guy, were you here when Ronnie became a client, the contractor? That was probably before your time. But Ronnie, I’m on the phone with Ronnie during my 13 -point assessment. I said, Ronnie, how long have you listened to our show? He goes, uh, I’ve watched every testimonial on your site, which isn’t possible, I think. And I’m like, what?
Are you okay, bro? Are you good, bro? And he’s like, no, I just, I mean, I just would listen to him and I just would watch him all and I’ve been doing that. a couple of years. Like how many couple of years? Nine years, he says.
Nine years? He’s like, I remember you on 1170. That got rebroadcast by Scripps Radio down to Texas. And I live in Texas and I found your show. So you heard a show that was rebroadcast on the, I love it. I listen to a new one every day.
It keeps me encouraged. I’m going, wow. But testimonials, for some reason, some people have to hear 1, 10, 50, 30, I don’t know. So I remember the first time that, as an example, how many of you remember hearing the first time that COVID, or whatever that was, that we maybe never even isolated? How many of you remember when you heard the first time that COVID was treatable with budesonide? And you’re like, I don’t know.
I remember Dr. Bartlett was like, no, budesonide, ivermectin, and hydroxychloroquine. And all these people I know are like, I don’t know. I don’t know. And we had a lady who worked here at the time named Gina. You guys remember Gina? Yeah, Gina.
And Gina goes, Clay, I’ve got COVID. I said, if we test anybody with a PCR test, eventually you will get COVID. You know this, right? And she was like, I know, but I have it. I’m like, what is it? She’s like, I tested positive.
I’m like, who remembers that? We’re like, people are almost denying their sight. I’m like, you don’t look sick. And she’s like, but I have it. What do you have? COVID.
How do you know? I took a test. Do you feel sick? No, but I have it. I went to the doctor. He said, I got to get on remdesivir before it gets bad.
I go, that causes renal failure. She’s like, I know, but I have it. Gina, do you feel bad? No, but I tested positive. For a virus that I don’t feel, I’m asymptomatic. It may be growing.
I’m like, if you take remdesivir, it’ll kill you. It causes renal failure. Midazolam is a breath suppressant. And she’s going, so should I take nothing? I’m going, if you want to take something, take hydroxychloroquine, and you won’t die. And I remember just all day looking at her, and I was trying to break the ice with her.
She’s a nurse. nice lady, and we just got to know each other. She’d worked in my office. She was at the first one we did in Tulsa. And her desk was here, and mine’s here. And I’m like, hey, are you dead yet?
She’s like, stop it. I’m like, are you dead now? And throughout the day, are you dead? Are you dying? Because if you’re dying, I’ve got to figure out who’s going to make these calls. So I need to know.
She’s like, stop it. It’s all throughout the day. I just keep, that’s how I am. I’m very repetitive. I’m like, how are you? You good?
You making it’s like an hour later. You’re, you’re not looking so bad. What? You’re not looking so bad. You’re looking like you’re getting good. Are you okay?
But it was like, even though the facts were, who remembers what I’m talking about? The facts, people still kept getting tested. They kept testing themselves to see it. And people wanted to have their own COVID story. So in my office, we have hairdressers. And tell me what’s wrong with this story, James, because you are not a doctor, but you have a common sense.
One of our employees called me. She says, I’ve got COVID real bad, boss. I go, really? She goes, I’ve got diarrhea everywhere. Now, I’m thinking if you have an upper respiratory infection and you’ve got diarrhea everywhere, perhaps your body works differently than mine. Or you’ve got a unique way of manifesting and projecting the virus.
Who remembers that? People ran out of toilet paper. Remember this? And you’re like, it’s upper respiratory infection. Gotta buy that toilet paper. Why?
Because I breathe out of my ass. What? My head is in my ass, so I need toilet paper for an upper respiratory infection. Huh? Listen, my head is so far in my ass, I need toilet paper. You thought through that?
I’m in my living room laughing. I can’t stop laughing. I’m like wheezing at everyone I know. And no one gets the joke, because it’s too soon. Still too soon now. I’m in my living room like.
people are so stupid it’s all stupid oh they’re buying toilet paper for an upper respiratory infection bunch of jackasses what the hell’s going on I remember my wife’s like why is this funny to you people are dying I’m like no upper respiratory infection how could this possibly affect ones anyway problems solutions testimonials So she, Gina said, that Richard Bartlett testimonial you did, that’s what did it for me. He’ll be here tomorrow. And I said, why him? She goes, he’s credible. And I’m like, so I’m not credible. She’s like, no, you’re not a doctor.
I’m like, I don’t know. I feel like I’m more credible because I’m not one. I don’t know. But you know, she needed to hear it from an expert, a testimonial. So on your website, I’m asking, do you have testimonials? Someone right now, circle it if you don’t.
You need them. You need them. There’s a guy, a ministry guy, I won’t mention his name, but you’ll think about it and you’ll go, is that the guy he’s talking about? I bet you he’s talking. I’m just sowing the seed, you think about it. And we’re going through some stuff.
How many of you know a lot of ministries are going through some stuff this week? And I’m going, bro, bro, bro, get it together, man. You know, get it together. And then said person who’s not associated with this event, but I know through these events, he says, we’ve faked a lot of healings over the years though. And I’m going, we? He’s like, well, it’s a thing, you know, and so like you have to have a certain number of healings or people won’t give.
And so we kind of have like a thing, you know, we have people in the audience that are planted and then they say they were healed and then someone else, then it gets a momentum. So people believe and I go, you are sick. He’s like, but I just, I think it’s going to get really bad because if the things are said get out, it’s gonna be like a cascade. Who knows what I’m talking about? You’ve seen this.
It’s imploding for a lot of ministries. So people do not want fake claims. Are we past the point of fake claims? Are we done with fake claims? Are we done now? What about those big pharma commercials?
May help you improve your health, but it may cause retinal bleeding, suicidal thoughts. You will stab yourself in the eye and quickly die. Try it out today. Have you seen these drug addicts? Are we done with the claims? So with Keith, what kind of questions did Keith ask you about us?
He just asked about our friendship, really. I met Keith and we started talking about stocks and different things like that and we hit it off. Has it affected your relationship with him since he’s become a client of ours? Is it weird? It’s better. Yes!
Do you see? Because it’s a shalom! Chrissy, has our relationship taken a toxic turn since you became a client? It’s a big family, it’s a win -win. I’m not hiding the fact. You shouldn’t hide the fact.
If you’re a dentist or a doctor, I’m asking you to write this down. Don’t hide the fact that you make a profit. Don’t feel bad about it, Mr. Christian business owner. Tell people, say, hey look, if we build you your house, one of the home builders I work with, we helped him grow from 13 million to 140 million in under 48 months. Shawhomes . com, from 13 million.
They’ve been in business for 30 plus years, always stuck at 13 million. They got to 141 million, and we did it in under five years, folks. And the big issue is you have to get people to buy something, right? And I go, just tell the customer. When we build your house, we don’t apologize. We make a 12 % profit margin.
So if we build you a $300 ,000 house, we make 12%. So this is how much we make as a profit after paying all the contractors and all the subs. This is how much is profit. And the customers will say, OK, but if you hire me, the number, who knows what I’m talking about? If you hide the numbers, people are like, what’s going on?
What is it? And it feels weird. How many of you ever got your cell phone bill and you’re like, what happened to four lines for $100? What happened? They’re like, oh, you wanted to use it. We had an activation fee.
Oh, your texting fee, you wanted to receive a text. Oh, it’s a text. Who’s looked at your phone bill and you’re like, what in the world? A universal coverage fee. So people don’t want, so one, you gotta have examples, okay, of your project. If you’re watching right now online, or you’re here right now, get examples of your work, show examples.
If you sell food, do food samples. Why do food samples go so well for a guy like Keith, food samples? Because they’re so good, everyone eats them, and they wanna eat more after. So I’m talking to Keith, and it’s like, dude, type in Vasellia Seafood real quick. So go to Google, type in Vasellia Seafood. And Keith’s business is rocking, guys.
He’s… And this video testimonial is about, you know, a couple weeks old. So it’s just… So you scroll down here. Do you see crawdaddies? There he is.
You see crawdaddies? He’s got a 4 .5. Back when he had a 3 .8. Why don’t you want to go to a 3 .8 for dinner tonight? 3 .8 in seafood is not good. I wouldn’t…
Honey, let’s go to a 2 .2 tonight. How are you feeling? Our marriage is going well. Let’s do a 2 .2. You know, so… I’m going, bro, you’ve got to give out samples and examples and get those reviews up and get there.
Because I know people, all the reviews he had that were bad were all political. They’re all like, this guy puts profits over people. This guy hates people. This guy’s spreading the virus. But they weren’t about the food. But you’ve got to do examples, OK?
If you’re watching this right now, if you’re here, you’ve got to do examples, OK? Transparency. People will buy if there’s a transparent thing. So let’s talk about Keith’s business. Are the prices on the menu? Yes.
he’s not hiding it okay it’s not like man, I wonder what I’m gonna get charged. Who’s ever dealt with a contractor where that happened to you? Where they, don’t you hate that? Where you pay someone and then they hit you with a last minute fee you didn’t expect. Don’t we hate that?
Do we not? Transparency is big, okay? So Keith has his prices on his menus, okay? For our haircut chain, I’m trying to give you examples. We charge a dollar for the first haircut, and then there’s a menu board that’s about the size of this board that has the prices. So no one’s going, I wonder what it’s going to cost if I come back.
It’s not a weird… How many of you have ever been a part of a charlatan system or some kind of get -rich -quick thing that you got roped into? You went in with the best of intentions, but somehow they roped you into something. Or how many of you ever hired a contractor where they hit you with all these fees or you got screwed over on a rental of some… Who’s ever been screwed? You don’t want to get screwed.
You recoil from that stuff. So for our haircut place, we tell you the prices for a consulting company. We tell people, it’s $1 ,700 a month. That’s what we charge. And we make a 20 % profit. So just to be clear, I make $340 a month per month that I have a client.
And our average client is with us for six years. So you kind of do the math. There it is. But if you make it hidden and weird, it gets weird. Are we on the same page? Okay, so transparency, hidden fees.
Next, the no -brainer. James, the no -brainer, the no -brainer. When we told people, come out to Crawdaddies and check it out for the meet and greet, no cover charge, come out. Why did that work when we said, no cover charge, come see General Flynn? Because it’s a no -brainer. You don’t have to think about it.
You know that you could go there for free and meet General Flynn. Now, the reverse of that, there’s a pool company in Florida I used to work with back in the day before he sold his business, and this was his no -brainer. Your first consultation is $500. That’s a brainer, and it doesn’t even make sense. The more you think about it, it doesn’t make sense. And I’m like, why would you charge $500?
He says, and it goes towards the cost of the pool. Why would you not pay $500 to a pool company you’ve never heard of just for a first consultation? It just sounds like a waste of money. They’re just going to come and go and get $500. His logic was, I don’t want to waste my time with tire kickers. But how many of you by show of hands would meet with a pool contractor that you’ve never met for $500 up front?
It’s the reverse of a no -brainer. It requires significant amounts of concentration to understand the jackassery involved in that idea. And then I said, can I ask you where you came up with this idea? Greg, you know people that do this kind of thing, because you’re in the contracting world. He goes, well, I don’t want to cheapen my brand. So by charging $500, I come across as exclusive.
And I’m going, the best way to cheapen your brand is to go into bankruptcy, which you’ve already done once before. Have a no -brainer. Clay, tire kickers, I don’t want to be doing free pool quotes for yahoos. That’s currently not a problem for you. You have no customers. So you have to have a no -brainer.
You getting this idea? The no -brainer, it’s so important in ministry. How many of you have gone to the same church for a long time? There’s one pastor I worked with for many, many years. I still work with him, by the way. And he said to me, Clay, I’m having a hard time getting people to give.
And I go, fair, Mr. Pastor. He’s still a client. I work with him. He’s in Texas. I said, you know why people don’t want to give? Because there’s always ministry scandals, and I don’t want to give to one, and no one does either.
So why don’t you just ask people to do like $10 a month or some reasonable small offer, just something, and then just say, I’m going to post online our church expenses. Isn’t this a revolutionary idea? He’s like, what do you mean? I’m like, you know, like the income and the expenses. And he’s like, on our website? So if you go to EOfire .
com, this is a podcaster who I took that idea from. I did not come up with this idea. EOfire . com, he’s a podcaster and he’s a long time, a sponsor of what we do. We team up with him a lot and he tracks on his website. Look at the word income.
He literally tracks his income per month on his website and he is a for profit podcast. Look at this. Scroll down. He tracks his actual revenue. I go, why do you do that, John? He says, well, I think it’s helpful for people to know how my podcast works, you know?
And you pay money to advertise on his show, but it’s transparent. But how many of you, if you went to a ministry, and you knew where the money went, that would help you? Honestly, how many of you would help your, and I don’t have a ministry, and I’m not asking you to donate, but how many of you, honestly, if you saw where the money went, that would help you? What happens when you don’t know, and the pastor drives a Maserati, and you don’t? You start to think, like, where is this money going? So this pastor’s like, okay, I’ll do it, I’ll put on there, okay, I’ll do it.
So pastor puts his salary, pastoral salary, it’s like 62 ,000 a year in Texas, you know? And it’s like pastoral car, he’s driving a nice car, not like a luxury car, but it’s a decent car, pastor’s SUV, Honda, whatever it is, and he puts it all there, and giving starts going up, because people are like, this makes sense. This guy’s not living a bougie lifestyle on my dime. but you’re gonna have to like somehow create an aura of transparency with your customer, or it’s a weird tension. Are we on the same page? You wanna create some kind of a, I don’t know, you wanna create some kind, how many of you laugh when you hear about government accountability?
It just makes you laugh. Ha ha ha ha, ha ha ha. You know, I got hired during 2008 by John Truby, you can look it up, type in Clay Clark, John Truby, Government Accountability Office. I got hired by the Government Accountability Office in 2008 to help manage members of the Government Accountability Office on how to deal with TARP funding. You remember TARP, the bailouts?
You remember this? There it is. Yeah, John Truby, T -R -U -B -E -Y. You can still find it if it’s online. I spoke at the Anatole Hotel, Anatole. You remember TARP, the bailout money?
The banks are too big to fail. And first off, this event is at the Anatole Hotel. And it’s at the peak of the financial collapse when the world is supposed to be ending. And we’re at the nicest hotel in Dallas to talk about how not to waste taxpayers’ money. And it’s like a shrimp dinner and a unlimited prime rib. And it’s like, and I’m going, I’m supposed to do what now?
Because I got booked by a speaking agency. You’re supposed to talk to our government employees about the importance of managing America’s tax dollars in a prudent way. And I’m like, with the backdrop of shrimp and lobster at the Anatole Hotel, what? So you want to make sure with your business there’s a transparency so people know that you actually make money doing what you do, but you’re not gouging them. Are we on the same page? Okay.
And then the final area is you’re going to have to do your call to action three times. Minimum three times. Okay. So James, when someone fills out the form and requests a ticket to attend these events, how often do you have to call someone typically before you reach them? Eight to 10 times. Why?
Because they’re eating breakfast, eating dinner, walking their dog, at the gym, at work. How many of you talked to James at some point? How many of you, you know, you missed him, he missed you, you missed him, and it happened more than twice? There it is. Yeah, so it’s this thing of like the level of persistence needed. You’re going to have to be consistent with your call to action.
You’re going to have to be consistent with your call. Hopefully this makes sense. It’s got to be a consistent thing. So when you meet, whether you’re selling metal buildings, or you’re settling underground, or you’re selling skincare, or selling whatever you’re selling, you’re going to have to be consistent with the call to action. So, you know, Chris, you’ve been around me long enough to know what I do.
I don’t hide what I do. I don’t browbeat you over the head what I do, but people know what I do. It’s just a clear thing, you know? And every time I’m on a podcast, whether it’s His Glory or Mel K or some great podcast partners, I have to mention, hey, go here, get your tickets. Go here, get your tickets. You know, as a good example would be, if you go to Thrivetimeshow .
com right now, Eric Trump and I were doing our business conference in November. And I mentioned it once this morning, I’m mentioning it once now, and I’ll mention it again, three times, here we go. You know, it’s like, okay, I mentioned it earlier this morning, I mentioned it before lunch, I mentioned it again. Thrivetimeshow . com, Eric Trump and I, business conference in November. Now, I can’t help whether you receive that or not, or whether you want to go, or whether, I can’t say, we only have one ticket left, and if you buy in the next two seconds, my head will not explode.
Have you ever been to a conference like that? No one wants that, so you don’t need to browbeat people and manipulate them, but you gotta get people to buy something. I don’t know if that makes any sense. I hope I’m connecting with you, okay? Another, I’m just trying to help you. For those of you, how many of you are struggling to get reviews for your business?
You need to get reviews, and you know you need to, but you’re struggling to get them. Okay, so, like right now, if you Google search Thrive Time Show and the word Jinx, I could ask you to leave a review, and I could say, you don’t have to leave a good one, but it’d be great if you left a review, because people that come to these conferences wanna know, you know, was it a shameless upselling thing, or was it, did I learn something, was it terrible, was it good? But I could ask someone to leave a review, but the reality is that most people won’t the first time I ask, you know? And then, if I ask again, they’re like, I hate him, I hate him. And if I ask again, they’re like, I either have to resolve this tension by killing him, or I have to leave a review. I’ll say, I’m gonna leave a one star.
But it’s like… a certain persistence, OK? And all of this is wrapped in, and I’m giving you this. I want you to write this down somewhere. If you believe you’re helping your fellow man or woman in improving their life, you shouldn’t feel bad about sales. If you feel like you’re helping your fellow man or woman improve their life, like you’re solving a problem for them, if you’re helping them, you shouldn’t feel bad.
If you had a cure for a disease and you knew the solution to it, I would hope you’d be passionate about sharing it, you know? But if you feel like you’re selling something that manipulates and takes advantage of people, you shouldn’t want to sell it, you know? So let me do another example. The gospel. Let’s open to Luke chapter 9, verse 5. Look that up real quick, Jackie.
Type in Luke chapter 9. The Bible, powerful book. You know, Jesus told his apostles, he said, look, don’t have a lot of stuff of the world. Don’t let it weigh you down. But your job is to go house to house. Type in Luke chapter nine, and we’re gonna read from verse, I’ll go through the context.
So Luke chapter nine, King James, and we’ll just read five verses so you can get it. But James, I’m gonna have you read this, because you’re the best Bible reader I’ve ever met, James. Okay, let’s read. You have a book of the Bible named after yourself, go for it. Then he called his 12 disciples together and gave them power and authority over all devils and to cure diseases. How many disciples do we have?
Okay, keep going, you’re on fire. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. And he said unto them, take nothing for your journey. Pause. He said to them, take what? Nothing.
Take what? Nothing. Take what? Nothing. OK, keep going. Neither staves nor scrip, neither bread, neither money, neither have two coats apiece.
And whatsoever house you enter in, there abide, and thence depart, and then depart. And whosoever will not receive you when you go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them what we’re saying is if you get rejected don’t worry about it shake the dust off your sandals go to the next one but what’s happening is is i think a lot of us avoid confrontation or we don’t want to get rejected or we don’t want to get we don’t like the feeling of the rejection we don’t like the feeling of the no we don’t want to get someone to tell us no or be mean to us. Who knows what I’m talking about? You don’t want that and so we don’t aggressively share what we have. However, for every nine people, let’s say there’s a hundred Christians in a group that I’m teaching sales to, 95 of them struggle with not being aggressive enough.
But then there’s the other side of it where if somebody doesn’t have an interest in what you’re selling, and they don’t see a solution that you can solve, leave them alone. You don’t need to browbeat people, you know? So, I love Chrissy, Chrissy loves me, we have a good thing going, it’s a win -win, I really care about her and her business, it’s great. But I don’t wanna fix my brows. I kinda like my crazy, I feel like I’m eventually gonna mature into an Andy Rooney style look. If you could look up Andy Rooney, Jackie, you don’t know who Andy Rooney is, but type in, this is the look I’m going for, Andy Rooney.
I kinda wanna be the guy with the brows someday, where you’re like, that guy. Something happened to him. He really fell off there, that guy. Yeah, Andy Rooney. He didn’t know how to spell it. Look at him.
Look at him. Look at the images. Remember this guy, Andy Rooney? Tonight on 60 Minutes, we talk about the color ball, ball, ball. Remember this guy? You know, Jane Ruby used to date his son.
Dr. Jane Ruby? She used to date this guy’s son. Click on images. Yeah, click on those eyebrows. Look at those things. Idolize those things.
Look at those. I mean, you’re not supposed to have false eyebrows. but that would be my temptation. Look at that. I mean, could you imagine how memorable that is from a marketing perspective? You walk into a room, people would go, holy moly, look at that.
What does he feed those things? That’s impressive. That’s great marketing. Look at that. That takes over a room. You talk about great marketing.
You could have 100 speakers in a row. You’ll remember that guy. Look at that. James, look at those eyebrows. Look at that. Are you impressed by those eyebrows?
They’re good things. Look up a young Andy Rooney. He didn’t have the sauce back then. He was just a normal guy. Look at him. Look at him.
Young Andy Rooney. You see him in the bottom right? Can you type that in real quick, Jackie? Jackie, young Andy Rooney. Put in young. He didn’t have it then.
He didn’t have what I’m looking for. Look at him. He’s just a normal guy. But then he devolved into those eyebrows. And that’s what I want out of my life, Chrissy. You can’t stop me.
All right. But there are people that do want nice eyebrows. So sell to them, OK? There are people, Scott, that want to build a metal building. They want to. Let’s go sell to them.
Other people don’t. And you know that. You’re not browbeating people that don’t want to buy it. But there’s somebody out there that wants what you’re selling. And you want to focus your energy on marketing to those people. but don’t waste your time teaching pigs to sing, right?
Because the pigs, they won’t learn to sing, right? They won’t learn to sing and you’re gonna annoy the pigs. We know this idea, okay? So it’s really important that we dial in on that. So some homework and some call to action today and then I’ll be done harassing you guys. One, is everybody here?
We should have our overview of thrivetemption . com forward slash downloadables and that’s where you can find this happy hoper diagram I promised and everything else, it’s all right there. 2. You’ve got a workflow document. We’ve all got that. Does everyone feel good about the workflow? Got this?
Okay. 3. The to -do list example. We’ve got that. Everybody got that? 4. Everybody who wants a copy of Ending Plague. Did everybody get that?
Yeah? Okay. Got it. Thank you, Dr. Judy. Really appreciate that. Ending Plague.
Okay. Tomorrow, housekeeping notes. Tomorrow morning, we’re going to be starting at 7 a .m. m. is when it kicks off and so 6 a .
m. doors open at Sheridan Church that’s the venue Sheridan Church Sheridan Church is where we’re gonna be and then someone asked me so I’m gonna address it once and then probably 75 times tomorrow the host pastor of who remembers Rhema Church where we were at he has been removed from that church and is no longer involved So that’s not necessarily the most positive thing in the world, but we’re praying for him, but he’s not there. And then the host pastor of the church that we’re going to tomorrow, he has now removed himself from his own church. So we’re down two pastors, and the event hasn’t started yet, but we’re working on it. But I know this is, because it’s headline news right now, because the media does their thing, we’re having the venue, but the two people in question, when you Google them, and I think it’s top story today on, what’s Ben Shapiro’s site? Daily Wire.
Daily Wire, yeah. So it’s top story in a lot of news articles. So we’re 0 for 2 so far on that, but I think we’ll have better odds tomorrow. But anyway, so we’re going to host the event tomorrow, but the two people in question will not be there. And I don’t want that to be a distraction, nor do I wish ill on people that make mistakes. Everybody here has made mistakes, and I think you throw the first stone if you haven’t made one.
So with love, but I also don’t want to be a distraction, so I contacted the two dudes in question, and I said, hey, Is it possible you can sit this one out? And they go, yeah. So the people in question won’t be there. But that just means more speaking time for Dr. Judy Machovitz. OK, so it’s going to be a lot of fun. So anyway, so we’re going to go ahead and answer any final questions that you guys have.
And if you want to schedule a 13 -point with me, great. If you don’t, that’s fine. If you do, that’s James. And he handles all that. And then what we do in my world is I work with 160 clients. And I do that because I get to know everybody.
So I really know Scott. There he is. I like him so much, we hired his daughter. I like Chrissy so much, we can like her friends. You know what I’m saying? But if you join us, you’re not joining a cult, but you are joining a culture. And I don’t ever want it to be where there’s like 10 ,000 clients running around and I don’t know everybody.
And so I’m very much, I wanna make sure I’m a good fit, you’re a good fit. But if you wanna schedule a free consultation, if nothing else, just to complain, you could schedule that with James right there. And then we’re gonna have the meet and greet tonight. That’s gonna go from five o ‘clock to about 6 .30. General Flynn will be here. It’s gonna be a great time.
You don’t have to buy anything. We’re gonna serve you great food tonight. And then tomorrow, tomorrow we’re going to be having the doors open up at six. There’ll be food trucks, coffee trucks, all those kind of things. And they’re back -to -back speakers from like seven o ‘clock until five. And then there’ll be a VIP meet and greet over here at this venue again tomorrow.
It’s two action -packed days. And there’s really no breaks because that’s the kind of way my mind operates. And also it’s the only way to fit in 70 speakers and do a great event. So there are gonna be speakers throughout the day. And someone says, why don’t you publish what time they speak? Well, I’ll tell you why.
Dr. Artis just called me like a half hour ago and said, could I move my time from here to here because of my flight? No problem. And so the schedule Tetris continues. And if I were to give you a schedule, I’d have to update it every five minutes. So I’ll just say, I’ll be there. You’ll be there.
We’re going to have a great time. And then final call to action before I’ll be done harassing you guys. Please change what you feed your mind. because it will change the way you think about everything. So if you choose to listen to our podcast, you can. If there’s another podcast you’d like to listen to, you can as well.
But if you go to Rumble and you go to The Thrive Time Show, you’re going to find the things we talk about at the Reawaken tour. And I think there’s a place for that, and a lot of people like that. But if you say, I only want to learn about business, if you go to Spotify and you go to The Thrive Time Show, you’ll find my podcast that I’ve put out there for over a decade. And it’s just great. business so if you’re like i just want to know business i don’t want to know geopolitical stuff please don’t make me know about geopolitical things i don’t want to know uh business only Spotify.
And if you want to learn about all things geopolitical and business, you can learn about that by going to rumble . com and searching for The Thrive Time Show. And if you could leave us an objective review, that would mean the world to us. I think the band is ready. Is the band ready? Is the band ready?
The band? We got Charlie. Is he here? Is he around? Is Charlie here? Okay.
Charlie, he’s here? Okay, Charlie, can you come up here real quick here? And before we disperse and take a break, I want you guys to, I want to kind of introduce Charlie. I’ve known Charlie for 20 almost 25 years at this point and when I was building America’s largest wedding entertainment company I kept getting booked at events where he was the headline band and Charlie is probably the most skilled musician that I know of. He’s got a great falsetto. He also can sing nice and low.
He can play the bass all over the place. I’m sure there’s other instruments he can play. And he’s got this Charlie Redd and the Full Flava Kings. And so Charlie, I’ll let you kind of introduce yourself a little bit here and maybe tell people where they can find. This is Charlie. He’s a beautiful man.
Charlie, tell people about yourself and where they can learn more. Hey, folks, how you doing today? All right. All right. Well, today I got the trio. Bobby Black Keys Moffett Jr.
He’s one of the baddest cats in town. Looks like a teenager, this bad guy right here. And then I got Isaiah Sullivan on the drums. He’s a monster as well. All of us, we play at different churches every Sunday morning. Isaiah and I, we’re in a few different projects.
We got the Full Flavor Kings. This is the Charlie Red Trio. Charlie Red Trio. Right, right. We do everything from Eurythmics. to Barry White.
You’re going to love his stuff. And if people want to… Bob Marley. If people want to hire you, where’s the website or where can they go to find you? They want to pay you money. The full Flavor King Facebook page.
So Facebook, look up Full Flava Kings and it’s F -L -A -V -A. F -L -A -V -A. Okay, Full Flava Kings. All right, let’s hear it for Charlie Redd, the Charlie Redd Trio. All right, I think we’re ready. You guys ready?
Okay. And then again, folks, we’re going to start the meet and greet in a little bit. So feel free to stretch. Feel free to meet someone you don’t know. And the general will be here soon. Food will be here soon as well.
And if you want to schedule a 13 -point assessment, go see James. And if you could leave us an objective review, that would mean the world to us. And you can do so by typing Thrive Time Show, and the word Jinx finding us on Google, and you can leave a review right there. And so that being said, one more time, let’s hear it for Charlie Redd and the Charlie Redd Trio. And I’ll be here with you guys tonight. All right.
So thanks again, folks. And we’ll look forward to seeing you tomorrow morning. And I’m sure I’ll see you tonight. All right. Are you looking to start or grow a super successful business? Join Eric Trump, the New York Times bestselling author of The Carnivore Diet, Sean Baker.

This place rocks. It’s invigorating. The walls are super, it’s just very cool. The atmosphere is cool. The people are nice. It’s a pretty cool place to be.
Very good learning atmosphere. I literally want to model it and steal everything that’s here at this facility and basically create it just on our business side. Hilarious. I literally laughed so hard that I started having tears yesterday And we’ve been learning a lot which you know, we’ve been sitting here We’ve been learning a lot and so the humor definitely definitely helps it breaks it up But the content is awesome off the charts and it’s very interactive. Clay Clark is here somewhere. Where’s my buddy Clay? Clay’s the greatest.
I met his goats today. I met his dogs. I met his chickens. I saw his compound. He’s like the greatest guy. I ran from his goats, his chickens, his dogs.
so this guy’s like the greatest marketer you’ve ever seen right his entire life clay clark his entire life is is marketing people don’t know this but the trump organization has thousands of employees there’s not 50 employees the trump organization again most people don’t know this For Donald J. Trump, as he was the 45th president of the United States, and now the 47th president of the United States, is Eric Trump. So Eric Trump is here to talk about time management, promoting from within, marketing, branding, quality control, sales systems, workflow design, workflow mapping, how to build. I mean, everything that you see, the Trump hotels, the Trump golf courses, all their products, the man who manages Billions of dollars of real estate and thousands of employees is here to teach us how to do it. You are talking about one of the greatest brands on the planet from a business standpoint. I mean, who else has been able to create a brand like the Trump brand?
I mean, look at it. And this is the man behind the business for the last pretty much since 2015. He’s been the man behind it. So you’re talking, we’re into nine going into 10 years of him running it. And we get to tap into that knowledge. That’s going to be amazing.
Now think about this for a second, play Clark, man. He is one character. It’s a good word for him character. Yeah, that is it driven, smart. And, uh, I’ve never met a guy who was so hyper all the time is doing so much good. And then I met his mother and she just says.
She just lets him be Clay Clark. He’s endorsed by his mother and he’s doing magnificent work. So it was great meeting you out there and all the people that he surrounds himself with. Clay Clark starts his days at five o ‘clock in the morning. It’s incredible. Yeah, he’s he’s like, he’s a machine.
He’s a machine. But his you know, I could I have problems with my company starting at nine o ‘clock. Yes. Hundreds of people showing up at 5am in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Man, he’s a leader of a leader. He’s fantastic.
Yeah, man. No, he is. The lineup continues to grow. And this is how we do our tickets here at the Thrive Time Show. If you want to get a VIP ticket, you can absolutely do it. It’s $500 for a VIP ticket.
We’ve always done it that way. Now, if you want to take a general admission ticket, it’s $250 or whatever price you want to pay. And the reason why I do that and the reason why we do that is because we want to make our events affordable for everybody. I grew up without money. I totally understand what it’s like to be the tight spot. So if you want to attend, it’s $250 or whatever price you want to pay.
That’s how I do it. And it’s $500 for a VIP ticket. Now, we only have limited seating here. The most people we’ve ever had in this building was for the Jim Brewer presentation. Jim Brewer came here, the legendary comedian Jim Brewer came to Tulsa, and we had 718 people. 718 people.
And I thought to myself, there’s no more room. I felt kind of bad that a couple people had VIP seats in the men’s restroom. No, I’m just kidding. So I thought, you know what, we should probably add on. So again, if you want to get tickets for this event, all you have to do is go to Thrivetimeshow . com.
Go to Thrivetimeshow . com. When you go to Thrivetimeshow . com, you’ll go there, you’ll request a ticket, boom. Or if you want to text me, if you want a little bit faster service, you say, I want you to call me right now. Just text my number.
It’s my cell phone number, my personal cell phone number. We’ll keep that. private between you, between you, me, everybody. We’ll keep that private. And anybody, don’t share that with anybody except for everybody. That’s my private cell phone number.
It’s 918 -851 -0102. 918 -851 -0102. I know we have a lot of Spanish -speaking people that attend these conferences. And so to be bilingually sensitive, my cell phone number is 918 -851 -0102. That is not actually bilingual.
That’s just saying Juan for a Juan. It’s not the same thing. I think you’re attacking me. Now, let’s talk about this. Now, what kind of stuff will you learn at the Thrive Time Show workshop? So Aaron, you’ve been to many of these over the past seven, eight years.
So let’s talk about it. I’ll tee up the thing and then you tell me what you’re going to learn here, OK? OK. You’re going to learn marketing. marketing and branding. What are we going to learn about marketing and branding?
Oh, yeah. We’re going to dive into, you know, so many people say, oh, you know, I got to get my brand known out there like the Trump brand. You want to get that brand out there. It’s like, how do I actually make people know what my business is and make it a household name? You’re going to learn some intricacies of how you can do that. You’re going to learn sales.
So many people struggle to sell something. This just in your business will go to hell if you can’t sell. So we’re going to teach you sales. We’re going to teach you search engine And the search engine results were going to teach you how to manage how to manage people. pulling in the same direction can be a challenge. But if you have the right systems, you have the right processes, and you’re really good at selecting great ones.
And we have a process we teach about how to find great people. When you start with the people who have a great attitude, they’re teachable, they’re driven, all of those things, then you can get those people all pulling in the same direction. So we’re going to teach you branding, marketing, sales, search engine optimization. We’re going to teach you accounting. We’re going to teach you personal finance. Finance had a man.
your finance. We’re going to teach you time management. How do you manage your time? How do you get more done during a typical day? How do you build an organization if you’re not organized? How do you do organization?
How do you build an org chart? Everything that you need to know to start and grow a business will be taught during this two -day interactive business workshop. Now, let me tell you how the format is set up here. And again, folks, this is a two -day interactive 15. Think about this, folks. It’s two days.
Each day, it starts at 7 AM, and it goes until 5 PM. So from 7 AM to 5 PM, two days. It’s a two -day interactive workshop. The way we do it is we do a 30 -minute teaching session, and then we break for 15 minutes for a question and answer session. So Aaron, what kind of great stuff stuff happens during that 15 minute question and answer session after every teaching session? I actually think it’s the best part about the workshops, because here’s what happens.
I’ve been to lots of these things over the years, I’ve paid many thousands of dollars to go to them. And you go in there and they talk in vague generalities. And they’re constantly upselling you for something trying to get you to buy this thing or that thing or this program or this membership. And you don’t, you leave not getting your very specific questions answered about your business or your employees or what you’re doing on your marketing. And what’s awesome about this is we literally answer every single question that any person asks. And it’s very specific to what your business is.
And what we do is we, we allow you as the attendee to write your questions on the whiteboard. And then we literally, as you mentioned, we answer every single question on the whiteboard and then we take a 15 minute break to, to stretch and to make it entertaining when you’re stretching. It’s a true story. When you get up and stretch, you’ll be greeted by mariachis. There’s going to probably be alpaca here, llamas, helicopter rides, a coffee bar, a snow cone. I mean, there’s just…
You had a crocodile one time. That was pretty interesting. You know, I should write that down. Sorry for that one guy. that we lost the crocodile. We duct taped its face.
So that’s right. We duct taped a baby crocodile tape. Yeah. Duct tape around the mouse. It didn’t bite anybody, but it was really cool. Passing that thing around.
And I should, I should do that. I should, we have a small petting zoo that will be assembled. It’s going to be great. And then you’re in the company of hundreds of entrepreneurs. So there’s not a lot of people in America today. In fact, there’s less than 10 million people today, according to us debt clock that identifies being self -employed.
So if you have a country with 350 million people, that means you have less than 3 % of our population that’s even self -employed. So you only have three out of every 100 people in America that are self -employed to begin with. And when Inc. Magazine reports that 96 % of businesses fail by default, By default, you have a one out of a thousand chance of succeeding in the game of business. But yet the average client that you and I work with, we can typically double this. I’m just no, no, no hyperbole, no exaggeration.
I have thousands of testimonials to back this up. We have thousands of testimonials to back it up. But when you work with a home builder, when I work with a business owner, we can typically double the size of the company within 24 months. Yeah, double. And you say double. Yeah, there’s businesses that we have tripled.
There’s businesses we’ve grown eight X. There’s so many examples you can see. see it thrivetimeshow . com. But again, this is the most interactive best business workshop on the planet. This is objectively the highest rated and most reviewed business workshop on the planet. I was looking to learn how to take my business, like they’ve said today, from being very successful to being systematic.
I’ve got a very successful practice in three different cities, make good money. I just want to take it to the next level with systems and processes to where I can drive my cars more. Paul Hood. I’ve been a CPA for 33 years. And what kind of growth have you and your great team had here over the past, let’s say, five, six years? The last five, when I met you five years ago, we were doing three million.
This year we’ll be, we’ll do 24 million. And you say, Clay, I still, I’m not going to get a ticket unless you give me more. Okay, fine. We’re going to serve you the same meal both days. True story. We have, we cater in the food and because, I keep it simple.
I literally bring in the same food both days for lunch. It’s Ted Esconcitos, an incredible Mexican restaurant. That’s going to happen. And someone says, I want more. This is not enough. Give me more.
OK, I’m not going to mention their names right now because I’m working on it behind the scenes here. But we’ve got one guy who’s given me a verbal to be here. And this is a guy who’s one of the wealthiest people in Oklahoma. And nobody really knows who he is because he’s built systems that are very utilitarian that offer a lot of value. He’s made a lot of money in the it’s the it’s where you rent. It’s short.
It’s where you’re renting storage spaces. He’s a storage space guy. He owns this. What do you call that? The rental, the storage space, storage units. This guy owns storage units.
He owns railroad cars. He owns a lot of assets that make money on a daily basis. But they’re not like customer facing. Most people don’t know who owns the many storage facility or most people don’t know who owns the warehouse that’s passively making money. Most people don’t know who owns the railroad cars. But this guy, he’s giving me a verbal that he will be here.
And we just continue to add more and more success stories. So if you’re out there today and you want to change your life, you want to give yourself an incredible gift, you want a life -changing experience, you want to learn how to start and grow a company, go to Thrivetimeshow . com. Go there right now. Thrivetimeshow . com.

I’ve been a coaching client with Clay Clark since the beginning of our business. We started about a year ago, August of last year. I had no clients, no idea what we were doing, no clue really what was going on.
And now we’ve grown to where we’ve got six photographers, we’ve got office space here. I have an admin sales person that works for us full time. Developing an online system and a lot of that growth we attribute to clay helping us and there’s so many things that nope I mean his stuff is not you know revolutionary it’s not this crazy walk on hot coals and all this stuff uh it’s just real Real stuff. It’s like I picked the wrong week to quit smoking. It is life -changing. If you become a jade smoker, it is life -changing.

I got those stats before I got on here.
So you’ve grown by 3 .45 million? Yeah, 3 ,450 ,000. Would that be like if you took the combined revenue and maybe doubled it? Have we gone up by a half? About almost three, not quite. Whoa.
