If you’re out there today and you’re an entrepreneur and you feel like you’re falling, today’s show is dedicated to you. On today’s show, I’m going to share with you multiple success stories, and I’m going to walk you through how to achieve massive success. And I’m going to walk you through what you need to know to grow. Here we go. Some shows don’t need a celebrity narrator to introduce the show. But this show does. In a world filled with endless opportunities, why would two men who have built 13 multimillion dollar businesses altruistically invest five hours per day to teach you the best practice business systems and moves that you can use. Because they believe in you. And they have a lot of time on their hands. They started from the bottom. Now they’re here. It’s the Thrive Time Show starring the former U.S. Small Business Administration’s Entrepreneur of the Year, Clay Clark, and the entrepreneur trapped inside an optometrist’s body. Dr. Robert Zunich. Two men, eight kids co-created by two different women. Thirteen multi-million dollar businesses. Started from the bottom, now we’re at the top Teaching you the systems to get what we got Colton Dixon’s on the hoops, I break down the books See, bringing some wisdom and the good looks As the father of five, that’s why I’m alive So if you see my wife and kids, please tell them hi It’s the C and T up on your radio And now, 3, 2, 1, here we go! We started from the bottom, now we’re here Started from the bottom, and we’ll show you how to get there Alright Thrive Nation, on today’s show I’m going to walk you through specifically what you need to know to grow and to build a business, if you want to. If you want to create a time, freedom, and financially freedom creating business. I’m going to walk you through how to do it. Specifically, I’m going to walk you through all 14 steps. And then on part two of today’s show, I’m gonna introduce you to two client success stories that are actually implementing these proven systems. So here we go. Step number one, if you want to achieve massive success, box number one in my newest book. And again, if you want to follow along, you want to download the book, and that way you can join the conversation in maybe a more profound way where you can have a book in front of you filled with illustrations, you just go to thrivetimeshow.com forward slash millionaire. So you go to thrivetimeshow.com forward slash millionaire. And once you go there, you just scroll down. You can click on my newest book, A Millionaire’s Guide How to Become Sustainably Rich. And you can download the free book. And when you download the free book, you can follow along. And so today we are on page number five, page number five of my newest book, A Millionaire’s Guide How to Become Sustainably Rich. So here we go. Box number one. To achieve massive success, you got to figure out what your yearly revenue goals are. And you got to figure out how much, what are your total weekly gross revenue goals? You got to figure it out. You just got to write it down. What are your total weekly gross revenue goals? So I’m going to participate in this activity with you. And hopefully this is helpful for you to see somebody else doing it because this is how I actually do it in the businesses that I grow. So right here, I type it in, I go, okay, let’s just say that we’re talking about dog training. Let’s just use that as an example, all right? So if the goal, we’ll put today’s date was 3-24. And let’s say, we’ll put the grid lines in here. I’m gonna left justify this so my head doesn’t explode. Okay, here we go. All right. So if our total weekly gross revenue goals were for this particular business, and we’re gonna focus in on a brand that I have built called makeyourdogepic.com. So if we focus in on makeyourdogepic.com and let’s say our total gross revenue goals were $20,000 per week. All right, so this is our total weekly gross revenue goals. If our total gross weekly, or total weekly gross revenue goals were $20,000 per week, then we look at our actual sales. So let’s say that this week we actually did $23,000. And then what we want to do is we want to figure out, okay, how much profit do we make per dog that we train? So we’re going to talk about our actual profit. So here’s the actual profit, and we’re going to take that total of 23,000 and let’s say we operated a margin of 30% per dog we train. Alright, so that means we make a total of, whoa that’s a big number, so that means we have a total, wow that’s a big number, so let’s say we make a total of $6,900 per week of actual profit. So over here you want to make your total weekly gross revenue goals, write it down, right? And over here, you want to have your actual sales and your actual profit. And you’ll want to track the things that matter, right? So as we’re going through this exercise together, I don’t know if they teach this at college or not. I typically find people that go to college, don’t know these things, but this is how you do it. So you want to figure out, okay, what’s today’s date? Got it, boom. What’s the total gross, weekly gross revenue goals I have? Boom. What were my actual sales? Boom. What was my actual profit? Then you track, how many leads did you get, total leads this week, all right? So let’s say our total leads that we got this week, I’ll put in a real number for this real company. It’s, we had this week, we had 21 real leads that came in. All right, so we had 21 leads. So how many leads? 21. And it’s very important when you make this diagram so that you don’t skip anything that matters to you, that you keep the fields as narrow as possible. And that way you’re not tempted, you’re not to a spot where by default, you don’t look at all the numbers. So you had 21 total leads this week. And let’s say how many leads came from Google? And I’m just trying to put in the numbers here to give you an example. So the total number of Google leads this week was 12. All right, I’m just looking at my data here. And then the total number of weekly leads that came in this week from Facebook was one. All right, and the total number of leads that came in from word of mouth, that’s where someone refers you, all right, word of mouth was a total of eight. Great. And then we go in here and we track, you just want to track what matters. When you run a business, you only need to measure what you treasure. There’s no need to to measure anything you don’t treasure. There’s no need to keep stats about things that don’t matter. And I see so many people that have a big goal, but for whatever reason, they don’t break it down to this level of specificity. I don’t get it, but here we go. So again, I’m walking you through today’s training, today’s lesson. I wanna make sure we get this. Box number one, you have to figure out what are your yearly gross revenue goals? And you say, what? So the yearly gross revenue goals for this particular business would be 1 million a year. And there are a total of 52 weeks in a year, right? Assuming that you’re working every week, then your total gross revenue goals would be 19,230. So we’ll say our goals were 19,230 per week and our total yearly gross revenue goals are a million. Okay. Then this is what we need to know to grow. And so it becomes very clear and very easy to start and grow a successful business when you know your numbers. If you don’t know your numbers, that’s a bad look for you. And I would encourage you to only not know your numbers in the weeks that you hate yourself. Okay, so box number two, you gotta determine the break-even numbers. All right, so I’m just being very clear with this particular business laying it out here for you. Because we have a facility and we have certain overhead, and again, if you’re out there listening today, you need to know your actual break-even number. You want to put this somewhere where you can see it. So this is our weekly break-even point. What does that mean? It’s the weekly number we need to get to just to break even. Not to make a profit, but just to break even. Not to make a profit, just to break even. So how many sales do we have to do just to break even? And so for this particular company, okay, our weekly break even point is just over 10,000. Now for sake of time, I’m just putting an even number, but you’d want to put the specific numbers in for your company. So you want to know your weekly break even point. Why? Because you’re not doing anything. You’re not surviving if you’re not breaking even. So you got to figure that out. What is your weekly gross break even point? All right, so we’ll continue. So box number three, how many hours per week are you willing to work? And I would put it on here. I would personally. So I’d say number of hours willing to work. Now for me, I’m not saying you should do this, but for me, I’m willing to go. And I’m not saying you should do this, this is just what I do. I like to work every single day, at least 12 hours a day, six days a week. So basically from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m., that’s 13 hours a day minimum, times six days a week. This is how many hours a week I’m willing to work. And I’m not saying that’s how many hours you should work, but you gotta put how many hours per week are you willing to work? So, and that’s not a dollar amount, so we’ll go ahead and we’ll change this field one second here. We’re gonna change this field so we don’t wanna have, okay, boom. So total hours per week willing to work. And you should put this down, it’s big. Because if you don’t, you’re gonna drift and drifting will cause you to fail. And then you start, once you get in your head, you’re dead. All right, so then we move on here to box number, again, this is all box number three. This is all just page five of my book, A Millionaire’s Guide to Becoming Sustainably Rich. You can read the other pages of the book too for free, but I’m just diving into page number five here. Page number six, what is your unique value proposition? What is it that sets you apart from other companies? So in our business, Make Your Dog Epic, we have a unique value proposition. In your business, you wanna have a unique value proposition. What is it that makes you unique from your competition? What is it that sets you apart? What is it that you do that nobody else in your industry does or is willing to do? So I’ll just tell you what we do. We have the fastest turn around time, right? We have, we’ll beat any competitor’s price. Any competitors price we are the highest rated and most reviewed dog training business In America We have a money-back Guarantee All right. Again. What is it that we do that? Nobody else is willing to do. 50 cents for the first lesson. And we have a positive based, this is, it’s a, it’s a focus based, focus based, positive re it’s focus based, positive reinforcement training. Now, what does that mean? It just means that that’s what we do. That’s our, that’s our, our, our approach to training. I’m involved in multiple companies, so I apologize if it took me a minute to come up with my to write down and declare what it is that makes us unique. I’m just trying to make sure that you, if you’re listening today, you want to figure out what is it that you’re willing to do that makes you unique for your premier competition. And again, if you’re in your head, you’re dead. So don’t overthink this, but don’t underthink it Come up with an answer. Next, your branding. You’ve got to make sure that your branding is as good or better than your competition. So in this case, if we type in, make your dog, make your God, not make your God, make your dog Epic Tulsa, and you type it into the search results, I mean, who is our competition? Okay. And we would begin to look for other dog trainers, and we’d look at their websites and figure out what is it that they do that makes them unique, and what do we do that makes us unique, and then how do we uniquely compete? So let me just show you an example. One of my longtime clients is called scorebball.com. He’s not the only basketball trainer in America, but he happens to be my client, and he decided to put his differentiator of how he competes versus his competition on his website. I like that move. It’s a great move. It’s pretty bold that he’s willing to put specifically how he competes with his competition right there on his website. Now, so far, everything we’ve gone over so far, hopefully isn’t emotional for anybody. Hopefully everything we’ve gone over today so far isn’t emotional. Another client we have is Sierra Pools. This is a pool building company right here in Tulsa, SierraPoolsAndSpas.com. And all the people that I’m referencing on today’s show are going to somehow make their way into the show. So on today’s show, I’m just gonna go over here and we’re gonna put in Sierra Pools on today’s show. We’re gonna feature Don Calvert with Score Basketball on today’s show. That way you can see these are real people. But if you get this idea again, Sierra Pools, you scroll down, they clearly show how they compete versus their competition on their website. And that is what they do. And I just encourage you if you’re out there today and you want to become self-employed, this is how you do it. This is how you dominate. This is the process. And hopefully nothing on here is emotional. Now box number six, you have to develop a three-legged marketing tool. What are the three best ways that you can reach your ideal and likely buyer? The three best ways that you can reach your ideal and likely buyers. Now a lot of people it turns out they use Google to find the products and services they’re looking for. So if you do a search for Paul Simmons haircuts, the reason why we come up top in the search results isn’t because I’m a good guy, it’s because I know how search engine optimization works. Another example is if you look for Joplin gyms, another one of my clients, why do they come up top? It’s because they have the most reviews and the most original search engine optimization content. That’s why CoLaw Fitness comes up top. So like number one, Avenue number one for. For them to create or to develop more leads, more customers is search engine optimization. All right. So I would, if it, if it was me, it’s my business, I’m going to put my whole plan on one document. Well, why would I do that? So that I can keep it all straight and then it becomes very easy to manage. So I’m just going to type here. Okay. My three legged marketing, three legged marketing stool for this particular company. Okay. For the dog business, we’re going to say Google. We’ll call it Search Engine Optimization. We’re going to call it Social Media Marketing. And then we’re going to call it Dream 100. Now someone says, what are these three things? OK, one is Search Engine Optimization. How do you come up top in the search engine results? And we can teach you that in our workshops. Two, social media optimization. How do we make sure that the people in Oklahoma who are looking for dog training, the ideal and likely buyers who are looking for dog training, how can we make sure that they can find our company when they’re looking on social media, Facebook, Instagram, et cetera? And then Dream 100, how do we make sure that all of the places that our ideal and likely buyers shop at are likely to refer us? How do we make sure that all the veterinarians, all the dog groomers, all the pet groomers, anybody in the dog space, how do we make sure that those companies recommend us to our ideal and likely buyers? And again, hopefully we’re getting all this. I’m just putting all this here. This is my entire business plan all on one spreadsheet. And I get I see so many people that are smart people and they overthink everything, everything is complicated, nothing gets done, and I tell people all the time once you’re in your head you’re dead. So let’s let’s talk about the things that could cause you to get in your head. So for me today I happen to have a person in my life, shocking, this just in, a nefarious person who’s decided to not honor their agreements with me and thus not pay me commissions for things they owe me money for. And so therefore that’s something that I’m dealing with is somebody screwing me out of commissions. So it’s a nefarious partner. I also have an employee that’s underperforming. Okay, have that going on. You know, so I have somebody screw me out of commissions. I have a per employee that’s underperforming. And I also happen to have a just a very emotional, an emotional client I’m dealing with is making a series of stupid decisions. Is any of that on my business plan? No. So what percentage of my day do I spend thinking about those things? I try to spend less than 1% of my day thinking about the stupid things because they’re just a waste of my time. If they’re not related to the action steps that I need to take, they’re a distraction. So I wanna focus on taking big, massive action and not on mindless distractions. And I think that’s where a lot of business owners get stuck. They spend 90% of their time thinking about the emotional issues. But again, emotion, if you look at the word emotional, you look at the word emotion the word emotion e Typically gets in in the way of the motion of the motion So you want to focus on the motion not the emotion? So examples of this is if you’re gonna get organized you need to make it to-do lists If you’re gonna become hold people accountable You’re gonna irritate people if you’re gonna find time to read more you’re gonna lose some sleep If you’re going to increase your sales, you’re gonna increase the amount of rejections You’re getting if you’re going to increase the time freedom that you have, you’re gonna have to get good at saying no. If you’re going to invest your time mentoring people, you’re going to be screwed. If you are focused on saving money, you’re going to have to delay gratification. And if you wanna become a master of time management, you’re gonna have to become good at managing a calendar. So you see a duck, we all see a duck swimming calmly across the water, but underneath the water, you and I might not see the duck paddling quickly underneath the water. Above the water, the duck seems like it’s a very calm animal, but below the water, the duck may be moving 90 miles an hour. That’s a lot like running a company. We just want to focus on implementing the proven steps needed to grow a company. As far as the emotional stuff, I just try to gather it all up, get it off my schedule and keep going, because I’m not going to spend my day focused on emotions. Box number seven, you have to create a sales conversion system that works. You have to have recorded sales scripts, recorded calls, one sheets, pre-written emails, lead trackers. You got to have it, right? Because when your lead, when your phone begins to ring you have to have a proven system in place with which you answer the phone. I recommend you use a call recording system called clarityvoice.com. It’s called clarityvoice.com. And what they do is they have a wonderful call recording system in place, so that way your calls can be recorded for quality assurance and you can analyze the calls to make sure that your team is answering the phone correctly. A sales script, you have to have a sales script in place and that sales script that you have in place will make sure that your team is following the proven systems. And again, getting the emotion out of the way, if somebody will not follow the scripts that have been proven to work, you either have to fire them, right? Or inspire them, it’s A or B, very binary. What you don’t do is emotionalize it. If you don’t have call recording, what do you do? You install a call recording, you don’t emotionalize it. If you don’t have a one sheet in place, someone says, what’s a one sheet? A one sheet is a way that you clearly explain all the services and products that you provide by showing them an overview of the brand and how you compete versus your competition or how your service value proposition, how it stacks up. So again, if you want to see an example of a one sheet, this is a particular client. It’s kind of a unique thing, but this is Redmond Growth. This is a long time client of mine and he essentially just copied my one sheet verbatim. So my one sheet that I use for my companies, Tim essentially just copied the same layout for his businesses as well. That’s an example. And again, if you get screwed by somebody, if an employee steals money from you, if just a few weeks ago in one of my businesses, true story, we had one of our employees who was acting oddly. And so I asked her, what is wrong? Why are you acting oddly? Why are you not on time? Why are you not following the systems, et cetera? And she said, oh, well, it’s because I’m dating one of the other employees. And I thought, well, it’s violation of the handbook, but I don’t know how you can stop that necessarily. So I have one employee who’s acting oddly and he happens to be in a management position, and he then tells me he’s dating a female employee. And I said, well, that’s kind of weird. And I said, okay, so can we try to keep it private? Is it possible that we keep this situation private so that way it’s not a big issue? Can you not bring your love life into the workplace? And he says, well, yeah, but the issue is, is that my girlfriend’s really mad because she thinks I’m cheating on her, and her girlfriend is mad because she thinks that she’s being cheated on. I said, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, the motion. And so whenever I discover that, I mean, those kind of Maury Povich, Ricky Lake situations, they’re not on my workflow or my turnkey proven business growth system, but they do happen. And so your superpower you have to develop is you have to just keep on going. You have to push through the jackassery called humanity. So let me give you an example. If you type into, right now, if you type this into Google, 75% of employees steal from the workplace according to the US Chamber of Commerce. Now, this is according to the US Chamber of Commerce. Now, somebody might say, well, I don’t like the US Chamber of Commerce. Okay, fine. There are other studies that you can research and you can read, but they all essentially say the same thing, that 75%, this is according to Forbes now, 75% of employees in the American workforce today admit to often stealing from the workplace, 75%. That’s a real thing. Did you know this according to Inc Magazine that 85% of employees lie on resumes? I did know that. And you know how I know that? I know that because I’ve been self-employed for a long time. And maybe you’re out there listening today and you’re not self-employed or you’re new to becoming self-employed. That’s okay. All I can say is whenever you become self-employed, you’ll discover how life is, and it will be very different from how you wish life to be. And you must face reality as it is. Jack Welch, this is the famous CEO who grew GE by 4,000%, he says that we must face reality as it is, not as it was, or as you wish it to be. And that is so powerful. This is the CEO who grew GE by 4,000%. You got to face reality as it is, not as it was, or as you wish it to be. So again, as you’re implementing the workflow, you’re going to run into jackassery. You’re going to have employees that refuse to follow the sales scripts. And I would tell you this, try to hire great people, train them, but if they won’t do it, fire them. Just like if you have a football team and you have a guy on your team who aspires to be a quarterback, but he can’t throw the ball, get him off your team, keep moving. Box number eight, you have to determine a sustainable customer acquisition cost. What does it cost you to get a new customer? We go back to our tracking sheet, okay? So cost to acquire a new customer. This is why I love the Make Your Dog Epic brand so much because we’ve really refined the system. But for every 300, this is just a real story here, for every $300 that we spend on advertising, so I’m just going to put here for the week, I’ll put total advertising costs. So for every $300 that we spend on advertising, we generate approximately 21 leads. So if you say 300 divided by 21, what’s our cost per lead? It’s $14.28. $14.28. That is great. That means for every $14.28 we spend, we have an opportunity to pick up a new customer, and that is so powerful knowing that number, and again, you put this on the tracking sheet. Box number nine, you’ve got to create daily core repeatable actionable processes and you got to document those all into scripts and checklists. So I’d ask you today, what processes and systems do you have in place that need to be documented? What systems do you have in your head that need to get out of your head and document it. So if you go to eitrlounge.com forward slash staff, that’s eitrlounge.com forward slash staff. That’s, it stands for elephant in the room. That’s one of my company’s elephant in the room. It’s a men’s haircut chain. If you go there and you have the password, you log in and we have every single checklist process and system all documented. So our team can easily find what they’re looking for. And again, don’t make this an emotional thing. If you feel stuck, you feel like your world is falling, again, this is why I have a coaching program. I coach people through the process of building these systems quickly. And that’s why on today’s show, when you see these success stories and testimonials, you’re going to see clients that are having massive success, and they’re having massive success in a world where most people are not having massive success. If you go to usdebtclock.org, I highly recommend that you don’t go there too often or you might get depressed, but in America today we only have 9 million self-employed people out of a population of 336 million. So we have less than 3% of our population that is even self-employed. And of those that are self-employed, 96% of businesses fail fail according to Inc. Magazine. What? Yes, 96% of businesses fail within 10 years according to Inc. Magazine. So you have a, it’s like a one out of a thousand shot to be successful by default, which is why I’m very passionate about teaching wonderful entrepreneurs like you how to implement the proven systems. Box number 10. What, this is your management box. What people on your team will not do their jobs. If somebody won’t do their job, hold them accountable. If they won’t do it, fire them. And then you have to have a merit-based pay program in place. Now a merit-based pay program means that you will pay people based upon the value and the results that they generate, not based upon strictly the hours they work. The moment that you put somebody on a flat salary, you’re going to find that the employees begin to perform less and less well, the more and more salary you give them. So you want to have merit-based pay in place so that the employees get paid based upon that which they do not based upon which they say they’re going to do. Box number 11, you want to create a sustainable and repetitive weekly schedule. So it’s really important that you design a schedule that works for you, your spouse, your family. I’m pulling up my calendar right now. I’m going to click on the calendar for Monday. This is my calendar for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. If you’ll notice, I block out time in my schedule for everything that matters to me. I don’t block out time for things that don’t matter to me. It’s not emotional. It’s logical. It’s literal. This is how you do it. Now, again, if something about the time management or blocking out of time for what matters is emotional. That’s not what I do. I focus on motion, not emotion, because emotion, E, gets in the way of motion. Emotion, the E gets in the way of motion. Be emotional, but not emotional. If you wanna grow your company, if you wanna have massive success, if you wanna have time freedom and financial freedom, you must become emotional, not emotional. And I find that for me, it is very easy to teach how to grow a successful company. And my clients find it’s very easy to implement the proven systems as long as you get the emotion out of the way. But if you put the emotion in the way, you will not do well. Box number 11, you have to create a sustainable weekly schedule as we talked about. But in that schedule, you have to block out time every single week to interview job candidates. I interview all my job candidates on Wednesday at 5.30. And during busy seasons, I also block out time to interview candidates on Monday. You can see it in my schedule. It’s already there. It’s already prepared because I blocked out time in my schedule for that, which matters to me. Box number 12. And by the way, box number 11, I also block out time every single morning for what’s called a daily huddle. A daily huddle is the time where we gather with our team each and every morning, and we go over that which needs to be done for the day. And to give you a little context, one of my companies has 47 employees. Another company has 47 employees. Then I have different brands I’m involved in. And so between all the different brands, there are hundreds and hundreds of employees, but you have to do this. And now box 12, you create a human resources and recruitment system. You create human resources and recruitment systems. So you just get out a spreadsheet and you document who are your A players. Those are people that get to work early and stay till the job’s done. Who are your B players? That’s the people that get there barely on time and get their work done barely on time. Who are the C players? These are the people that always show up late and who always get their work done half the time. B players get there right on time, leave right on time, get their work done right on time. A players get there early, they stay until the work is done. A players, B players, C players. A players bring great energy every day. B players bring mediocre energy half the time. C players are negative all the time. And then you have to schedule here a weekly staff meeting, and you have to schedule a weekly group interview. And if you do those systems, which we can coach you down that proven path, you’re going to have massive success. Now, box 13, final box, final box, final, well, it’s a final box related to business, and the 14th box is related to your life. Box number 13, you’ve got to create accounting, you have to create your accounting systems and automate the earning of millions. So should you create your accounting and automate the earning of millions? What am I saying? You want to create a system where every time that you sell something, you pay yourself a set percentage. So we’ll go back to our tracking sheet. So I’m going to say ownership, let’s say this is the profits right here, this is it right here, and then we’ll call this payment to the owner. And so I would just encourage everybody out there, for this particular brand called Make Your Dog Epic, I pay myself 15%. So if we have $19,000 of sales this week and I pay myself 15%, that means I make $2,884.50. So I’m just gonna put in here, 2884, what? Let me put it in here, 2884.5. And I just pay myself off the top. And if you’re a home remodeler, a doctor, a dentist, a lawyer, anything, you wanna factor that into the price quotes that you’re giving your customers so that you are paying yourself. Because if you don’t automate the paying of yourself, your business will drift into a dystopian nightmare where you somehow work all the time and you don’t make any money. Now box number 14, this is the final box and I’ll let you guys get back to watching some incredible testimonials from some great clients that are having massive success. Box one, you got to make a, make your, you got to block, you got to write it down, determine it, annotate it, document. What are your goals for your faith? What are your goals for your family? I played basketball at the University of Oklahoma, and my father was a high school coach. When I got out of college, what I wanted to do was coach. I coached in college for about four years and then I had my son and life changed. And my son was terminally ill. He had muscular dystrophy, what’s called Duchenne’s. At the time I was working for school. I needed to make more money because of all doctor bills, all that kind of stuff you got to buy and everything. And so I started doing just a side program with score, just doing a few basketball lessons. My schedule filled up. At the time, you know, my son was in a wheelchair. It got to be quite a struggle with him. And so it was a constant fight every day of, do I work? Do I spend my time with him? How much time do I spend with working? But what I learned from all of it is you still got to get your job done. Well, I’m not a business owner. And I’m probably a terrible business owner. Back a couple years ago. Because I had parents tell me all the time, well, I wish I’d have known about you three years ago. Well, I’ve never heard a score. We get that all the time. And then doing the finance and doing the, just everything that I had to do was just eating me alive. It would take hours every day. And so I needed to get smart about doing my business. All of us need a game plan. And Thrive 15 has helped me tremendously with that game plan. We changed how it was charging. We changed the programs we were doing. We changed the advertisement we were doing. We started doing everything smart. We’re the largest basketball facility in this three or four state area. We have people that call us from all over Oklahoma because of our website. My time has been freed up tremendously because I’m not involved in all the little things. It’s just streamlining your business so it’s not taking just all of your time away from your family because I my wife’s very important to me, my kids, you know, I got to have some of that as well and as a business owner if you allow your business to eat you up when it’s not really worth it. You got to have a value of life as well. We wouldn’t be where we’re at today without Thrive 15. My name is Danielle Sprick and I am the founder of D. Sprick Realty Group here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After being a stay-at-home mom for 12 years and my three kids started school and they were in school full time. I was at a crossroads and trying to decide what do I want to do? My degree and my background is in education, but after being a mom and staying home and all of that, I just didn’t have a passion for it like I once did. My husband suggested real estate. He’s a home builder, so real estate and home building go hand in hand, and we just rolled with it. I love people. I love working with people. I love building relationships. But one thing that was really difficult for me was the business side of things. The processes and the advertising and marketing. I knew that I did not have what I needed to make that what it should be. So I reached out to Clay at that time and he and his team have been extremely instrumental in helping us build our brand, help market our business, our agents, the homes that we represent. Everything that we do is a direct line from Clay and his team and all that they’ve done for us. We launched our brokerage, our real estate brokerage, eight months ago. And in that time, we’ve gone from myself and one other agent to just this week, we signed on our 16th agent. We have been blessed with the fact that we right now have just over 10 million in pending transactions. Three years ago, I never would have even imagined that I would be in this role that I’m in today, building a business, having 16 agents, but I have to give credit where credit’s due. And Clay and his team and the business coaching that they’ve offered us has been huge. It’s been instrumental in what we’re doing. Don’t ever limit your vision. When you dream big, big things happen. I started a business because I couldn’t work for anyone else. I do things my way. I do what I think is in the best interest of the patient. I don’t answer to insurance companies. I don’t answer to large corporate organizations. I answer to my patient and that’s it. My thought when I opened my clinic was I can do this all myself. I don’t need additional outside help in many ways. I mean, I went to medical school, I can figure this out. But it was a very, very steep learning curve. Within the first six months of opening my clinic, I had a $63,000 embezzlement. I lost multiple employees. Clay helped us weather the storm of some of the things that are just a lot of people experience, especially in the medical world. He was instrumental in helping with the specific written business plan. He’s been instrumental in hiring good quality employees, using the processes that he outlines for getting in good talent, which is extremely difficult. He helped me in securing the business loans. He helped me with web development and search engine optimization. We’ve been able to really keep a steady stream of clients coming in because they found us on the web. With everything that I encountered, everything that I experienced I quickly learned it is worth every penny to have someone in your team that can walk you through and even avoid some of the pitfalls that are almost invariable in starting your own business. I’m Dr. Chad Edwards and I own Revolution Health and Wellness Clinic. My name is Cody Albright and this is my wife Rachel Albright and we are from I’m Nola, Oklahoma We don’t actually own a business yet. We’re starting a business with my father-in-law her dad Sierra pools and spas We actually heard about it from my dad who listens to the Thrivetime show 1170 and he’s an entrepreneur so he recommended this conference to us. I have learned really just the skills to get started with the business. I kind of came in like not knowing even where to start, where to begin, just feeling a little bit overwhelmed with the whole process. I feel like Clay really gave us the information to not only get started, but once we do get started, to get moving with the business and actually get things rolling. Being in the beginning process, I don’t know much. I didn’t, coming into this conference, I didn’t know much about sales, business, marketing, and nothing I learned in high school. And so I feel like I learned actually tremendous amounts of things, practical things I could put to use. I would describe it very welcoming, atmospheric, warm, is that a word? Yeah, it’s very relaxed. Clay is a very great speaker. He made it really fun. Lots of energy. I’d say it was a great experience. Very homey. It’s awesome. It’s a little bit eclectic, but you definitely get a sense of what they believe in and their energy here and their purpose here. You can definitely see it all over the walls and everywhere. I would describe him as a very well communicator, very funny, very energetic, very passionate, very knowledgeable, and just fun to listen to. He’s very interactive. He was there to answer any questions that we have at any point. We could ask any questions and he was very willing to answer them. And even in between, he’s very approachable, talk to him about anything. I would say they’re missing just the jump start to get their business to a place where it’s serving them and where it’s really making the profit that they want to see. It’s accomplishing the goals that they have in their mind. I’d say they’re missing the practical skills to make that happen. Clay does not try to upsell you on anything. He’s definitely here to just help you out. He wants to give you all the skills that you need to get your business where you want it to be. So there’s no pressure. It’s totally relaxed. Yes, I would say, I describe it no pressure and I’m a people pleaser so I would fall into those sort of things. But yeah, I would say it’s very relaxed, very non-pushy. It’s definitely worth your time. It’s definitely worth the money because all the things he’s going to teach you, you learn them in a very quick amount of time, but they’re all very applicable if you actually put in the time to use them. Hey there, Cody with Sierra Pools and Spas. Just a few system wins that I’ve had that Marshall and Thrive 15 has really helped me with. One thing in construction, my construction manager, he used to call me all the time. One thing that Marshall implemented that that are recommended that that we have a set time that he calls me every day. He’d call me constantly and I never gave him a time like hey this is when you can call me kind of thing so he’s probably afraid to call me but I set a time every day at 11 a.m. that he calls me with all the updates and stuff like that so that’s really helped so far he doesn’t call me as much anymore. I made a joke out of it you know that’s kind of like our time that we spend together at 11 a.m. every day that he gives me on the updates. Another system win that I just dreaded was calling the clients every day to give them an update on their pull process. I don’t like being called every day but some so I really didn’t like this this idea at first but I have to say at the end of it it’s really helped it’s it’s really helped me feel better about the process and definitely helps them see the vision of the project and they they’re always in the know they always know what’s happening so at first I was real hesitant of it but now they I see the benefit of it it’s really helped help it’s really helped our process and I don’t have to feel stressed about, you know, the clients are going to be angry at me. They always know what’s going on, so it’s really helped them a lot. We do the hiring process too, every Wednesdays, the group interviews. This is another thing we were real hesitant on doing. I just thought it was going to take a lot of time out of our week, but really it’s really been really good, you know, just kind of winging out the people that we know that we aren’t going to hire, you know, we can’t even show up to a meeting, but it’s really helped us instead of, I would have been at first, if I didn’t know about this system, I would have been frustrated and real stressed out, trying to find time for people that say they can’t make it at a certain time, but we just come, they say, hey man, we just do interviews Wednesday at 5 p.m. and just kind of leave it at that. Another thing we use that’s been really helpful is just putting everything on a calendar. We put all our, I just put everything that I’m doing for the week or the next week or so, I just put it all on a calendar so I could see everything on there. I wasn’t really an organized person, I didn’t ever use a planner in school, so this has really helped, really helped kind of seeing the whole vision of it. I know that was longer than 30 seconds, but that’s two and a half minutes of me complimenting all the good systems and stuff that I’ve been putting into play that’s been really helping us out a lot. So, thanks. 4,000% from February to February. Now I can better that. Okay, Clay, I don’t think you know this. I don’t think you know this. I’m pinching myself and if I cry, forgive me. In the last two and a half days, we have bettered our entire month of February in the last two and a half days. And the phone’s blowing up. Everything’s just blowing up. You’re right. It is like a rocket ship. So we’re pinching ourselves, actually. I learned at the Academy at Kings Point in New York, acta non verba. Watch what a person does, not what they say. Devin, we often times at Thrivetimeshow.com, we interact with some really great people. In fact, if anybody goes to Thrivetimeshow.com and they schedule that first free 13-point assessment with me, you’re sort of like the filter. I mean, you talk to people every day, and certain people are not a good fit. We call these people happy hopers, and certain people are a good fit. We call these people diligent doers. What’s the difference? A diligent doer has an actual product or service that makes sense. They have a prototype or an actual product or service. They have an actual viable plan where they can sell a real product or service to real people. And a happy hoper is somebody that doesn’t have a real product or service. And a while back, these wonderful people, they reached out to us and we scheduled a 13-point assessment. And I knew that they would be successful for two reasons. One, they are diligent doers. And the second is they had an actual product that they could sell to real people on the real planet earth. And they gave a sample to my wife. They gave a sample of their product to my wife. And my wife, Devin, who doesn’t coach clients, doesn’t mentor clients, doesn’t, you know, she stays out of that. She works on the accounting side. She tells me, this stuff is incredible. This is incredible stuff. And so at that point, I recognized, uh-oh, we’re going to have a business that’s going to blow up. And so I wanted to get them on the show while the business is actually taking off. They’re actually currently joining us from a figurative rocket ship. Their business is taking off next level. I’m excited to have them on. This is the founders of Give a Derm. Ladies, welcome on to the Thrive Time Show. How are you? It’s such an honor. Thank you so much for having us on. We’re having so much fun right now. It’s unbelievable. We are fencing ourselves. So first off, for people out there that don’t know who you two are, I’m going to let you two introduce yourselves and introduce your products so people can Google you and verify you’re not a hologram. Absolutely. So we are a toxin-free skin care company, and we’re really trying to bring the words luxury and zero toxicity together. And it’s just been a wild ride. Honestly, my mom had a crazy health scare. Hi, I’m Debra. And, sorry, I’m Juliana, I’m the co-founder. And I’m her daughter. And so, it’s just, you know what, it’s just been a wild ride. And honestly, we were pretty, we knew we had something. We knew we had something that was incredible. And, but then, honestly, we were pretty stagnant. We didn’t really know what direction to go. And then all of a sudden, on one of our super late nights my mom looked at me and she goes, you know, we’ve heard a lot about clay and I think we’re supposed to go out and maybe get that assessment. And I was like, within like five seconds I launched that form over to you guys. Yeah, it was a holy moment actually because I’m a major introvert and she’s like, I never thought for a minute you’d do that, but I honestly felt like the Lord said, do this. So we did, we did. And I think we shared yesterday, not yesterday, at the conference last weekend, that February, in February, this February, from last February, we were up 4,000% in our business. Can you repeat that? How much have you grown as a person? 4,000% from February to February. Now I can better that. Okay, Clay, I don’t think you know this. I don’t think you know this. I’m pinching myself and if I cry, forgive me. In the last two and a half days. So, and the phone’s blowing up. Everything’s just blowing up. Blowing. You’re right. It is like a rocket ship. So we’re pinching ourselves. Well, and I mean this sincerely and I wanted to get Devin on the show because she talks to so many wonderful people that go to thrive timeshow.com and the challenge we have is that we’re sort of like an incubator, and I can only work with 160 clients. So it’s like a football team, and you only have 52 roster spots. We only have 160. And the reason why is, you know, Devin, with your clients, you meet with your clients once a week. But a client, you might talk to them three times during the week. Because we’re doing the photography, the videography, the web, the search engine, coaching them, guiding them, mentoring them. And I really wanted to drill down into the successes that your business has experienced as a result of you two diligent doers putting in the work there. So first is you guys are doing the Dream 100. Now the Dream 100 is a system that I don’t know why, I don’t know why, and Deborah I’m going to ask you the question, so I don’t know why, and I’m not attacking you, this is not a passive aggressive attack, I don’t know why people are reluctant to do it, I don’t know. So, you know, in my life, anytime I want to get, for example, Tim Tebow to speak at our upcoming business conference, I’m going to pick up the phone and I’m going to call. And then if I get rejected, which I often do, I will then email. And if I get rejected via email, I will then text. And if I get rejected and Devin, you have worked here for about a year ish, almost two, two years. And on the agenda, did I not put on the agenda book Tim Tebow for June conference? Did I not put it on there for like, it seemed like maybe six consecutive months? Yes, you did have it on there. And I’ve been chasing that reality, turning that into a tab, Tim Tebow, speak at our events for 10 consecutive years. So from the age of 33 to the age of 43, I’ve had the same action item on my to-do list. And the reason why is because my literary agent, Esther Federkevich, she represents Tim Tebow and myself. And a lot of people in our orbits kept saying, Tim should speak at your conferences. And so, you have to reach out to people you don’t know because this just in, people don’t wake up with a burning desire to pay you and the product is good as it is. It’s not gonna sell itself. So even though my wife is saying, Givaderm is hot sauce. It is the best skincare product I’ve ever seen. Everybody should buy this. That doesn’t mean people are gonna buy it unless they know about you. So I wanna ask you that specifically, Deborah, the Dream 100, making a list of 100 people that you do not know and reaching out to them to offer them free samples. What was the challenging part about doing that? We had to identify our audience first because you have to, your Dream 100 can go everywhere, but you have to specifically identify your audience. And then it is work because you’re kind of intimidated and you’re like, is this real? Is this really going to work? And so you just have to press into that and keep pressing into that and you just do what you’re told to do. I know that sounds basic, but that’s why we have hired you to tell us what to do. And so that’s, we just had to keep at it and keep at it. Now, Devin, you work with very reasonable clients. None of our clients are unreasonable, of course not. What is the hard part that people have when you tell them to do the Dream 100? Because these two are doing it. This is something that Juliana and Debra, they’re doing it. What is the, what is the issue? As I’m trying to help somebody out that it’s stuck. Dealing with rejection. There it is. Now, I used to stutter as a kid. I used to stutter as a kid. So let me just walk you through how that works. If you can’t speak well and you get mocked at a young age, at a certain point you just quit caring what people think. So at a certain point you just quit caring what people think. So you see this, Devin, in our office, we have a lot of employees. There’s gossip, there’s rumors, there’s jackassery, whatever. Yesterday I was dealing with a situation, so I just called a person involved, asked them directly, called both people, wrap it up. I don’t know if that upsets people, I don’t know, but I don’t think about it. I just want to solve the problem and I think we’ve solved the problem. But if you’re avoiding conflict or rejection, you’re just not going to have success. So pro tip number one is you could stutter a lot and then get to a point where you no longer care. That’s option number one. Option number two is you just become numb. You just get to a point where you say Matthew 5, 10 through 11, blessed are ye who are persecuted for righteousness sake for ye shan’t have the kingdom of heaven So you just say I’m not worried about people think or you just run around like you’re dumb I don’t know if you go dumb or numb Juliana I want to ask you what’s your approach? Do you try to go dumb? Do you try to go numb? Do you try to pray your way through it? How do you all of the above? Actually all of the above I it just depends on how it hits me dumb numb and pray through it. All of those are true. Absolutely. Absolutely. Just so we’re clear about what I mean by this. This is some strategic stuff here. Being dumb, it is a move that I use often. So yesterday, I was, and I’ll be very vague, yesterday I was looking at buying a particular property for a thing I’m working on. And I just began breaking all the boundaries. I don’t mind knocking on a door and talking to somebody. I don’t mind calling a property that’s not for sale and asking, will you sell it? I don’t mind talking to the neighbor and saying, what do you know about this property? I don’t mind. And I just sort of go in like I’m dumb, you know, like, hey, everybody, is this property for sale? I mean, that’s just sort of the mindset. And certain people go, I can’t believe you just did that, but okay, that works. Or you can get numb, but you got to do it. Okay, so you made the dream 100 of these influencers, people that have access to your ideal and likely buyers. You’ve given them samples. That’s working. Second, is you have to optimize the pricing. Now the pricing is a thing, Devon, and I’m sure you’ve never dealt with this. Your clients haven’t either. I’m sure the Give and Earn folks haven’t either. But I find a lot of people are afraid to charge what something’s worth. So let me start with an example that doesn’t relate to anybody I’ve ever met before. And this would be the entrepreneur that has a great product but is afraid to charge what they should charge because they don’t want to offend, they don’t want to overcharge, they don’t want to take advantage of. And so they actually create an unprofitable business. So the more they sell, the more they create a daily hell. What am I saying? The more they sell, the more they create this perpetual hell because they actually are selling something at a loss or they’re barely breaking even. I talked to, just the other day I was talking to a home remodeler who was telling me that the busier he gets, the more money he loses. He was at our conference. And I go, how does that work? And he’s like, well, I don’t want to gouge people. And I said, so what? And so this guy, he’s not a client, but he came to our conference and he was telling me that his business, he listens to our show and he’s been implementing the things he can without being a client. And he said, but the problem is the more business I get, the more I lose money. And I go, how is that possible? And he was actually charging people what it costs him to provide the service or he’s doing at a loss. And I just, I couldn’t understand it. I want to ask you to now going back to Debra here on the pricing thing. Has that been something that we’ve worked through together? Or maybe what’s your, how have we kind of coached you or worked with you on the pricing? Yeah, well, Andrew, our coach has worked with us because I am one of those people that as a consumer, I’ve watched the budget. And so at the same time, our products have incredible ingredients and they are all natural. So we have to cover our expenses. And so you guys have worked with us to watch our margins, to be able to know what our margins are and know what we have to price or we’re not going to be able to make this company available. We won’t make it. And so you guys have been incredible, an incredible asset helping us do that. I want to ask your thoughts here, Juliana. Talk to me about that, the pricing thing. Have we helped you through the pricing or what would be your comments on that? A hundred percent. Actually, it is interesting because when you set your prices where they need to be, that it actually attracts the customers that you want. And although it’s been hard to consider pricing and hard to consider what we need to make, like as far as just covering the costs and then what we need to make on top of that to just continue to be sustainable, you know, it, it is incredible because it’s been, um, I feel like, like I said, it’s just, it’s, it’s attracting your ideal and likely buyers. So it’s beautiful. How has coaching, I will get into more details, but how has coaching Juliana, how has that impacted your business? If you had to describe it to somebody or sitting next to someone at a conference and they’re like, okay, so you’ve worked with, you know, like Clark’s coaching system or with, you know, you’ve worked with Devin or you’ve worked with Andrew, you, because you’ve probably interacted with our whole team at this point. I mean, you’ve probably talked to Devin on the phone. You’ve probably been to a conference. You’ve probably interacted with Andrew every week on the phone. You’ve, you’ve probably interacted with our whole team at this point. And someone says to you, how has it impacted your life? What would you say? I would say, I’ve never seen the show, but I’ve heard of the show Naked and Afraid, where you’re dumped in the middle of God only knows where, and it’s like, you know what, I have this great idea, I want to be dumped in the middle of God only knows where, and I have a product that will help people, but I don’t know how to actually make a way, and it’s literally like hiring a guide that is experienced, that knows what they’re doing, and that can really, just absolutely, even when we, literally there have been times when I’m like, I don’t even know where we are. I feel like I’m totally blind, even in the initial coaching process. And it was like, okay, but great news, we’ve got our coach call tomorrow. It’s going to be great. And so it’s just this incredible feeling of knowing that somebody has our back and knowing that they know what to do. And then also knowing that, and honestly, I would be a little bit disappointed if I hired a business coach that wasn’t a multimillionaire. And so, you know, I’m just super grateful that you’re successful. And so we wanted to go, you know, he must know if he, he must know if he thinks a few fingers are right. Yeah. I, you know, what’s interesting about what we do is, you know, last night, um, I’ll be very vague cause I don’t know when the show’s coming out. I don’t want to date the show that way, but you know last night my wife and I were talking about some things and She said to me she was I’m so glad That I’m aware of how to achieve success because when our daughter asks It’s great to be able to tell where the answers Yeah And it was she was just you know just kind of reflecting because our daughter’s you know 20 years old and she’s asking questions about Buying her first property and my wife is like well you want to think about it. And my wife started talking about generating revenue streams, like you want to have a property where you could maybe rent out an extra room to someone you can trust, or maybe you can rent it out in the future, or maybe you buy it low, you add value to it. And my wife was really getting into like a home flipping seminar. But it was the thing where we’ve just done it so much that we forgot that that is a question that a 19 year old has or a 20 year old has. People have never bought a house before. My wife was putting on this like home flipping seminar of what makes a home more valuable. You know, the moves you can do that are inexpensive, add a lot of life to the property. And again, if you’ve never flipped a house before, it could be overwhelming. But in our case, we’ve done it so much. The other day, someone was asking us, I think my wife and I have lived in 15 separate houses. It could be 16, because we just were buying, renovating, moving, and we’re just doing it. And so it’s kind of become normal. Growing a business is kind of normal. So if you’re out there watching today and you feel overwhelmed, you feel stuck, these are two great examples of people that are real people we’ve actually worked with, we are working with. They are currently in the figurative rocket ship. The figurative rocket ship. They’re blasting off. Sales are happening nonstop. I appreciate them taking some time to talk to us about this. The next is we got to track. We have to track. And people always tell me I’m so busy I don’t have time to track. Now Devin, your clients have never told you that. No. But can you walk me through why other people who don’t listen to our show and are not your clients, why people might not track? They’re scared to look at the numbers. There’s a thing there. The other thing I would say is people like to always delegate to their spouse. What? To their partner. So the alpha, if it’s a female-owned business and the woman is the founder, she will usually delegate the finances to the person that joined. So the founder usually likes to delegate the finances to somebody else. That’s usually what happens. Or if it’s a male, he’ll delegate it to his wife. Or if it’s the wife who started, she’ll delegate it to her husband. Or if it’s a sister, she’ll delegate it to her brother. It seems like in a family-owned business, the founder always delegates the tracking to somebody else. I just see that as a pattern. And it seems like if they’re not related, it just seems like they’ll delegate it to whoever they just hired. So imagine you go to work for someone, you’re 25 years old, you just got hired by a 40-year-old, and they go, hey, by the way, you’re in charge of tracking. And I see that. And then the person who’s in charge of tracking, they may be not, they might not be diligent, they might be, they might be disorganized, they might be organized, I don’t know. But what happens is then they sort of now have removed themselves from direct responsibility. I wanted to ask you, Debra, on the tracking, how do you two track? Because it is really depressing when you’re tracking 100% of zero sales this week. I mean, that can be depressing. And it can seem like a waste of time. But now as you’re actually selling, it becomes increasingly important. So start with you there, Debra. The tracking thing, how do you guys handle that? Well, we have our tracking sheet that Andrew helped us put together. And you’re right, it’s absolutely mandatory. And because we have a product that has to be manufactured, you have to know how much every item costs down to the packing tape, the fragile stickers, and all this kind of stuff. So it’s imperative that you know what’s happening. And that’s what, like I said, Andrew’s helped. We do that together, we kind of stay in it. I tend to lean into the manufacturing part of it, where I needed to know exactly how much that shipper cost, exactly how much that void fill cost, exactly how much the decoration on our bottles, all that, you have to know it, otherwise you’ll wake up one day and you’re consumed, you’re done. So you have to know it. Give me thoughts on that, because again, you two are working as a business where you’re doing the marketing, the sales, the hiring, the firing, they’re shipping things. How would you describe your tracking process? You know what, we had an approximate idea before we started working with you, but then getting the specifics has been incredible. And it’s not hard, it’s just anything that goes out, you track, and then anything that comes in, you track. But it does take effort. You have to put a little bit of effort into it. I would just say it’s invaluable. It’s one of those things that if you don’t understand potentially where there’s a leak in the boat, then you just have to. It’s basically constant- Constant to-do’s as well. Yeah, like constant weekly inspections of the boat, if you will. It’s really good. It is. Again, this is so big. Constant inspections. I think that a lot of people struggle with boredom, but the great clients I’ve had, they bore down. So you have to do the same thing every day. Devon, have you ever worked at a restaurant? I haven’t. You haven’t? No. Oh, man. You probably never will then. But have you two ever worked at a restaurant? Julianne, have you ever worked at a restaurant? No. No. Ever have you? Well, let me walk you through. Let me just walk you through my experience at Applebee’s. No. I’ll walk you through Applebee’s. I worked at Applebee’s and our job is every single day you have, when I worked there 20 something years ago, you have to have out the fresh salad. So you open up that walk-in freezer and a guy from Cisco or whoever delivers the salad, he’s going to deliver the fresh salad and you have to throw away the bad salad every single day. You know, you bring in the fresh meat, you throw out the bad meat. Every single day, then you prepare your, they call it the house salad prep. So you basically make the house salads and you put them in this room. And so when somebody orders it, they’re ready to go, you know, and you just, you have, there’s like a process. Every day you clean the bathrooms, every single day you wipe off all the tables, every single day you dust every single window, every single day you wipe off the glass, and it’s a checklist every day. And I found that the top waiters of which I was not one, I had a good attitude, but I wasn’t nearly as skilled as other people who’d been doing it a long time. They would come in to work right away and they would wipe down the windows, mop the floor, get everything ready to go. And they were ready to go before the first customer walked in. But I found that the bad ones would always say things like, all we ever do is do the same thing every day. And then my boss, Ian, would go, yeah, because it’s a restaurant. And all we ever do is serve food to great people. That’s what we do. So I think certain people get bored with that monotonous stuff. And you guys do a really good job of nailing that. The next is the website creation. We’ve been at the website. It’s not a it’s not a one and done. It is a process of continual improvement. There’s endless iterations. We’re always updating. I’m never happy with the website. I’m happy today, but if I look at it too long I go, I kind of want to tweak that. We always want to make a small little enhancement. We always want to add a new testimonial. We always want to add a new endorsement. As I look at it right now, just my pro tip, and I’ll tell Andrew, but maybe you can tell him that I told you this before you talked to Andrew. Any of the bigger names that are starting to endorse you. You know, we get the as seen on, like endorsed by. So when you click on testimonials, it’s like endorsed by, and you start to get more and more big names. So I look at one of my clients called Moms on a Mission. What a great job she does. And as she’s booking bigger and bigger guests, we keep adding the as seen on. Now you don’t want it to get in the way of the product, but you got to make sure we get, because you’re starting to have some big-time names that endorse your product. Could you share with the listeners, what’s it been like having a consultant that also does the web development? Because we do the photography, the video, the web, the search engine, all of that is all one-stop shop. What’s that been like there, Debra, having just a one-stop shop for everything? There are really no words because whenever you’re trying to start a business, you’re so overwhelmed. You’re watching everything, you know, this is new territory for you. So you’re having to learn Everything the best you can so to have someone come in that is an expert in this field and can say this is what you Need to do. This is what you need to do. This is what you need to do And this is what you need to do. It’s like done. I mean that the also the pricing as I’ve heard But thank God we didn’t go there, but to have someone develop your website is astoundingly outrageous. So to be able to have that incorporated in the coaching has been such a blessing. It’s just, there are really few words, without a website, we’re sunk. Devin, I wanna tell you a story that’s gonna depress you, okay? Okay. How old are you right now, how old are you? 23. Okay, so when you were not born yet. Not yet born. Seriously, when you were not born yet, I started this, your mom and dad are probably on a date. I started this company called DJ Connection, right? And I thought, well, I’m gonna do is I’m gonna work at Applebee’s, Target and DirecTV, that’s a true story. So 1998, 1997, I’m growing this business, 1999, I’m growing it. And I got this website, I needed a website, needed to have a website. So I went to a web guy, I won’t mention the guy’s name, although I want to. Well, I know, I will mention it. I will mention the website, because it’s not a bad thing, it’s just a fact. So I hired a company called Creative State to build my website for me. It’s called Creative State. And Brent Wallace was in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is his company, Creative State, web developers. Boom. And I paid him to build my website for me. And, you know, it was at that time, I look back and I go, wow. But we’re talking about thousands of dollars was spent to build said website and thousands and thousands. And so I was paying unbelievable amounts of money. You know, we’re talking thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars to build a website. And then every time I wanted to make a change, there were certain costs to it. Now, he’s gone on to build website products and promotion for Taylor Swift. He’s done stuff for Garth Brooks. And he’s really kind of a household name boutique in the web space. He’s done a great job. But my thought was, if I’m gonna build a website, I wanna have the guy who built Garth Brooks’ website. Because at that time, Garth Brooks was like the number one music star in the world, I’m going to hire that guy. And I’m glad I did, but if I were to tell you that it was $1,700 a month, because we charge our clients $1,700 a month, it’s a flat rate, $1,700 per month, and that includes the coaching, the mentorship, the conferences, everything, all the introductions, all the PR, all the marketing, the video, the photography, the web, the accounting. But this guy, he didn’t apologize for the price, you can imagine, because the guy built the website for Taylor Swift and Garth Brooks, you can imagine. So it’s more like, well, you know, $15,000, we’ll get a conversation started. And I’m going, I just remember him saying to me, I remember people telling me, well, you need to get a video on your website. I thought, I do need to get a video on my website. So what I’ll do is I’ll get a video on my website. And I go, so do you guys do the video? He’s no, no, no, we don’t do video. But I have a guy I recommend. And the video guy says, true story, for $8,000, I could make you the promotional video. 8,000, I’m going, 8,000. Okay. And then the website’s 15. I’m up to 23. I work at Applebee’s target and direct TV. I’m making like eight 25 an hour plus tips. Sometimes at Applebee’s you don’t get tips at target. So I’m working and then I go, okay. And then I need to hire a PR person to help me do my PR to get in front of the media, to get, you know, and the PR people are like, well, it’s a retainer. Um, and it’ll be, you know, 5,000 a month for one year. So I’m out 60 grand for that. I got the website. So then I started thinking, I need to sell something. Because I’m going to need to sell something soon. So my Yellow Page ad was $2,500 a month for my Yellow Page ad on top of the other things. So I remember it was the craziest thing ever because I’m working at Applebee’s. Can you imagine, Devin, right now at your age, could you imagine you talk to your mom and dad and your mom and dad says, how are you? And you say, I’m doing great. They say, what have you been up to? You said, I agreed to pay $2,500 a month for the next year on an ad that hasn’t been proven to work. And by the way, I’m paying a PR company $4,000 a month. And by the way, Bruce Clay dot com, that’s the search engine company that is probably the highest rated, most, he writes the Search Engine for Dummies book, and you’re gonna pay about $8,000 a month for a 12-month contract. So you’re, you know, 96,000 to teach to heaven. Could you imagine explaining that to your mom or your dad? How would that go over? They would just, they would be, they’d think I’m stupid or something. If you guys were building Give a Derm today, and imagine you hopped on your coaching call with Andrew and Andrew says, what you need to do is you need to go out there and pay $2,500 a month for your advertising, pay four grand a month for PR, 18,000, actually 15,000 for the website, but every time you make a change, it’s like $1,000. And then you also, what would happen there, Juliana, if that was the recommendations he was gonna give you? What is it, fight, fight, or freeze or whatever? I don’t know, I think I would just be like, bye. Like, good luck with everything. I can’t do it. Like, it’s just not sustainable. This is what I did. I took a photo with the Yellow Page guy. I said, I’m going to pay you twenty five hundred bucks. I’m a month. I need a photo. Siri is Jeremy McCaskill. Did a photo of a Yellow Page guy. And that’s the kind of stuff I would do just to kind of capture. But I always thought to myself, at some point, I’m going to build a… When people started asking me to help them grow their company, I thought, you know what? I’m going to provide the entire coaching system for less money than it would cost to hire an hourly employee. And so now, final thing I want to ask you guys is we help you with the systems, creating the systems, the optimization, turnkey, the entire workflow, marketing, sales, branding, PR, accounting, all of it coming together as one unified song. All the different instruments put together. They make a beautiful orchestra. It all comes together. I want to ask you this, Deborah. What’s that worth to you? I know you pay $1,700 a month. I know that I make a 20% profit on every client. So we make, just to be very clear, $340 a month per client. What’s that been worth to you? Wait. Sincerely, everything. I don’t want to use cliche words, but I can’t find words that could adequately describe how you have literally changed our lives. It made it affordable. It made it affordable. Yes, yes, yes, yes. I’m not saying that, you know, I was $1,700 a month. But then when you saw everything that is included, it’s like, oh my gosh, it’s only $1,700 a month. But it has changed our life. Our company, I can say hand on heart, our company would not be where it is without you guys. Hand on heart, there’s absolutely no way. You’ve brought us the experience, the connections, the consistency, the kick in the pants when we needed it. We didn’t There’s sincerely, it’s very hard to express how amazed we are. And we do feel like God was on this from the beginning. And we just, we thank him for introducing us to you guys. And then you guys have just, we’ve literally hitched our wagon to your horses. And that’s what it’s been like. We talk about that a lot and we’re pinching ourselves. I mean how often can someone say in two and a half days we bettered a month’s worth of sales which was 4,000 percent higher than the year before? I mean and the phone’s blowing up. I mean. Now obviously you’re obviously uh Deborah is paying Devin to say that. So we’ll go to a more reasonable person. Juliana, how would you describe it? Because there’s somebody out there right now who believes that they don’t qualify for success. That’s what I hear all the time. And I grew up poor and I’ll never forget what it was like to be poor. And so I never want anybody to think they don’t qualify. We have scholarship options to make it work for people. What would you say to somebody on the outside of the website right now listening to this show? And they’re like, I don’t know if it’ll work for me. What would you say? Don’t be afraid. And don’t be afraid to admit where you are now. Because honestly, it was really, when we did our assessment with you, Clay, we were like, well, we’re doing this much a month and that’s embarrassing and we’re doing this much, you know. And we didn’t think we would qualify. I mean, we did it. And I think to really understand your heart for people and your heart for excellence for people. And like mom said, you know, I think I’ve told you this before, but it was absolutely uncanny to the point that at one point we had just like a connection, an additional connection with you and that morning. And then that afternoon, one of our biggest influencers mentioned us in her broadcast. And so literally you carry so much momentum. So I would say to anybody out there that’s considering doing this, to give it a shot, to just go for it. And honestly, just look at your budget and take out the things that are unnecessary so that you can afford to do this business coaching because what you’re getting is absolutely outrageous. And for whatever it’s worth, I was even able to text Andrew multiple times where I panicked going, ah, the website’s down or the website’s full. And he’s like, we’re on it. We’re good. We got it. We got it done, handled it. And it was just like, oh my gosh, just to feel like we could trust fall with you guys when it is not my, none of this is my skillset, none of it. It’s all uncomfortable. And to know that you have a well oiled machine that we can go, oh, can we just come, you know, come into that and, and just go, yes, I’ll take your assistance. It’s just, it’s incredible. It’s been absolutely outrageous. And we look back and we laugh, but you know, right now we’re, we are in a rocket ship and we’re just going, oh gosh, we’re going to have to, it is such a beautiful way. It’s like, I think we’re going to have to hire more people. And I think we’re going to actually have to work, like literally have crews work around the clock for fulfillment. And you know, then we’re going to do this and we’re going to do that. And then we may have to go there. We may have to get more storage units. We may have to do whatever. And it’s just, we’re to that fun part, but it’s also managing growth. But what I love is that we can still even ask you, hey, where we are right now? Is it wise to do this? Or should we stay here? And it’s incredible. It’s been wonderful. My favorite part, and then I’ll let you guys go. I love it when it’s overwhelming, you’re out of office space, and everybody’s selling something. That to me is the most exciting part where people begin to share a desk, they share a chair, it gets socially awkward because you’re desk. You recognize that a box of product has become your desk. You recognize that you’re taking notes on boxes and that’s exciting stuff. That’s where you can’t find your wallet because everything’s being shipped in and out. That’s an exciting place to be. So I encourage everybody, check out the Give a Derm product today for anybody out there and don’t not do it because I’m endorsing it. Check it out. Giveaderm.com. Go there. Giveaderm.com. Check it out there. And then the final question is how do we accurately pronounce your last name? Could you spell your last name? It’s G-R-I-M-N-E-S. So someone’s going grimnes, brims, grimes. That’s it. You got it the first time. If you have an S, you will pronounce it correctly. Yeah. So think of it. My dad would say, think of it as, like, don’t say this, dad. He’s like, think of it as like the grimness of the situation. I’m like, dad, that’s not good. Don’t say that. No. Don’t. It’s good. No. No. Ah! Like, oh, anyway. Thank you, Team Grimness. Have a great day. You guys are doing a great job. We’ll talk to you soon. Thank you. Thank you. It’s been an honor. We’ll talk to you soon. Bye-bye. Bye-bye. Bye. Hi, I’m Ryan Wimpy. And I’m Rachel Wimpy. And the name of our business is Kip Talkie Names. Our business is a dog training business. We help people with behavioral issues and teach their dog how to listen. When I was learning to become a dog trainer, we didn’t learn anything about internet marketing or advertising or anything at all. Just dog training. And that’s what’s so great about working with Clay and his team, because they do it all for us. So that we can focus on our passion, and that’s training dogs. Clay and his team here, they’re so enthusiastic. Their energy is off the charts. Never a dull moment. They’re a threat. We’ve been working with Clay and his team for the last five months, two of which have been our biggest months ever. One, our biggest gross by 35%. Clay’s helped us make anything from brochures to stickers, new business cards, new logos, scripts for phones, scripts for e-mails, scripts for text messages, scripting for everything. How I would describe the weekly meetings with Clay and his team are awesome. They’re so effective. It’s worth every minute. Things get done, we’ll ask for things like different flyers and they’re done before our hour is up. So it’s just awesome, extremely effective. If you don’t use Clay and his team, you’re probably going to be pulling your hair out or you’re going to spend half of your time trying to figure out the online marketing game and produce your own flyers and marketing materials, print materials, all the stuff like that. You’re really losing a lot as far as lost productivity and lost time. Not having a professional do it has a real sense of urgency and that actually knows what they’re doing when you already have something that’s your core focus that you already know how to do. You would also be missing out with all the time and financial freedom that you would have working with Clay and his team. We would recommend Clay and his team to other business owners because they need to be working on their business, not just trying to figure out the online game, which is complex and changing daily. So no one has a marketing team, too. Most people don’t. They can’t afford one. And their local web guy or local person that they know probably can’t do everything that a whole team and a whole floor of people can do in hours and not just weeks or months. There’s a definite sense of urgency with Clay and his team. I used to have to ride other West people, I mean really ride them to get stuff done. And stuff is done so fast here. And people, there’s a real sense of urgency to get it done. Hello, I’m Wes Carter. I’m one of the shareholders at Winters and King. My favorite thing that Thrive has helped me accomplish here in our firm is thinking a little bit outside the box. They do SEO, they do printing, they help us with a lot of things from the day-to-day marketing for the firm, but they also help us think of things that as attorneys we probably wouldn’t normally think of that help us market our services to our clients. One of the things I love about working with Thrive is that they make it enjoyable to actually do work with them. It’s not dry, it’s usually fun, but it’s always very enjoyable and practical. They give me things and ideas that I can put into place. It’s not just some theoretical spiel that they give me. We get practical steps that we work on together to do my job better. So me personally, I would easily recommend Thrive 15 services to my friends, my families, I recommend them to my clients. I think they do a good job, they’re passionate, they care about their clients, and I think it’s actually a valuable service they provide to people that are in the business world. My name is Jeff Thomas. I’m originally from Atlanta, Georgia. It’s all about getting to the grindstone. It is about putting the, it’s one thing to have a specific vision or a dream, but knowledge without application isn’t knowledge at all. That’s nothing. It’s really funny. The atmosphere is very lively. Everybody that is working for Clay is very upbeat and not tired, not sluggish, not complaining, not whining. They don’t have anything to do with those types of characteristics. It’s all about getting to the grind and having fun while you do it. I haven’t actually been to any conferences in the past, but what I will say from what I’ve seen on YouTube and what from other friends have told me is this isn’t like a motivational kind of thing to just you know, hoo-hoo, rah-rah, get you motivated, but it’s like practical steps that if you do take them, which most people aren’t willing to do, then you will grow and you will achieve the specific things that you want. Well, for one thing, I would say that this isn’t necessarily for everyone. So if you’re not willing to work, this isn’t for you. But I will say that if you are willing to work and you know you’re just getting started but you have actually taken a step in that direction, then this will actually help you grow further exponentially than you could ever imagine. My name is Taylor Hall. I’m the general manager of the Tulsa Oilers professional hockey team. Our goal every night here at the BOK Center is to try to fill the seats with lots of people and create an exciting environment so when somebody comes to a game, they want to come back. Working with Clay and the staff at Thrive, they’ve really helped us in many, many ways. Website and graphic design and video production and a lot of things that go along. And a lot of businesses, including ours, doesn’t have a staff or a full-time videographer or graphic designer. But the biggest thing that we noticed was the needle mover. More sales, more attendance, more successes in business. We had a record year last season working with Clay for the first time. Our average attendance is higher than it’s ever been. So there was a lot of really cool things that we did and they worked. That’s the nice thing about working with Clay and the team over there. It’s just not one person, you get the entire team. If you need video design and editing and production, they’ve got that. If you need graphic design, if you need some coaching, your sales people, and call scripts, PR, they offer all that. Clay was instrumental in helping guiding us and getting us on the right track so that we could really raise the bar and become ultra successful. So it’s been an amazing experience for us. My name is Kaitlin. I own a tumbling gym called Justice Tumbling Company in Tulsa. Working with Clay is so helpful. He’s being diligent with everything and making sure we execute our goals and really make things happen. It’s fun, it’s quiet, it really gets you energized and going and makes you really want to work. To get the momentum going, to really just like get that buzz, really give you the energy to get up and make it happen. I’m Bob Healy. I’m in the charcoal grilling industry and the name of my business is GrillBlazer. How will I apply what I’ve learned so far into my business? I’m actually a client that has a Friday 15th and I learned so much from what I’m learning at this conference and from my regular weekly attendance that it’s helping me establish the business and get it off the ground. Clay’s presentation style is just blatant disregard for what anybody wants. He just has fun, it’s him, everything that you see is authentically Clay. It’s a great deal of fun, everybody enjoys it. They know when you walk in they think they’re coming into a carnival, and frankly they are. It’s just great fun. There’s not another conference like it. You just don’t go to a carnival atmosphere and learn like you do here at the Thrive Conference. It’s great. The reason people should attend at least one of these conferences is because it’s common sense. And everybody’s said an entire line about the way you should run a business, but until you actually experience running a business, which is, candidly, what you learn here, how to run a business. You don’t know what you’re doing. My name is Tyler Hastings, and this is my wife, Rachel. And our company is Delrick Research out of New Orleans. During our time working with Thrive, we’ve had numerous successes. When we first started, we were working with one physician, we had one research site, and we were seeing on average, you know, between 10 and 15 patients a week. Since working with Thrive in the last 18 months, we now have four research sites. We work with over five physicians, and on average we’re now seeing over 60 patients per week. Recently we’ve been the top enroller worldwide in seven studies, which is just incredible considering where we were two years ago, 18 months ago. Thrive really differs from the other conferences that we’ve been to and the other kind of programs that we’ve been through because they actually really practice what they preach and they implement the same systems and the processes that they teach you about and they give you real life examples that really work for them and show you with the training how to implement that yourself. For example, Tyler and I actually got the opportunity to come out to Tulsa and we’re fortunate enough that the Thrive team took us out to some of the businesses that they own and we really got to see in real life, real time, some of the systems and processes and it was just incredible. A real life example of some of the businesses and the things that they’re implementing. Having a coach is important to us. They act as not only an accountability factor, but they’re someone we can talk to on a daily basis as we go through the problems of running a business that inevitably come up. They always understand what we’re going through and they’re always there to help us or guide us through the problems that we experience. The best part of our experience working with Thrive has just been seeing our relationship grow. So at each step as our business grows, they have something else to provide us with. They’ve got the resources, whether it be marketing, graphic design, website development, or even in accounting practices, maybe we need a new insurance policy. They have someone they can connect us with, or they have the direct resource we need to speak with for any of the problems we face. If someone’s thinking about signing up for the coaching program, I would highly recommend that they call in for a free 30-minute coaching session and see exactly what the team can do for you. Just speak with someone, let them know what you’re going through, and I think you’ll find that regardless of what you need, there’s someone there that can help you. Clay’s presentation style is very real and raw. It just gets real down to the bone of it and the real purpose of it. There’s no like fluffy vagueness about it, you know? So, he really gets to the point. I’m always reminded about how important it is to be intentional and to really pay attention to how you schedule your time and really honor it. Because whatever gets scheduled gets done. That’s what he said from Lee Cockrell, so just constantly hearing that and getting reminded helps me to reinforce that in my own life. It always helps to get an outside perspective, and especially from a guy that’s grown so many multi-million dollar businesses, it doesn’t hurt. My name is Nick Guajardo. I heard about the Thrive Time Show workshop through Andy Matherin. He is my, Andy Matherin and Larry Montgomery, they’re my bosses at Restore Home Health. So I work with a home health company called Restore Home Health and my role is pretty much to bring in business. So I was hoping to learn kind of the sales process on top of just kind of the responsibilities and help understand what it looks like on the SEO side and Just kind of an all-around what it looks like to own a business because that’s something I want to do in the future for sure How I would describe the atmosphere here at thrive is high energy Great professionalism great people. It’s just it’s a place you definitely want to visit and be at. Plays delivery style, humorous, professional, hilarious. I haven’t seen someone do it better. So he does a great job. Most valuable thing I’ve learned so far? A lot of it has been extremely valuable. But one thing that’s always really stuck out to me is learning the SEO stuff. I mean that is I think things you don’t really even think about and then you hear it and you think you know it but you don’t know it. So I feel like that was the most valuable. Well they’re missing out on just coming down to just basic applications to be a business owner. I mean I feel like it’s like an absolute necessity you know to come here and learn the ins and outs and maybe come here once or twice if they take good notes, that kind of thing. Why? So just it’s the experience here and what you can learn, like absolutely. So marketing and SEO seemed like something that would be very scary, but then in the way that Clay and his team described it, it became very clear and concise and something that’s very accessible to any business owner. I’ve learned a lot about marketing at this conference and a lot about business management and HR. Really everything, the key components of anybody’s business, they’re going to give you the best tools to be successful in. So most workshops or conferences can be really boring, really one-note, or they just seem so theatrical that it’s a joke and it’s not even giving you the tools that you need or that you came there for. But here it’s still high energy, it’s still fun, everything’s to the point, but it’s very professional and yeah, you’re missing out on easy steps to use in your business that are very accessible and very clear. My name is Abigail McCarter. The best thing I’ve learned so far is definitely like organization, schedule wise, always keeping a to-do list, keeping your calendar organized. I’m kind of all over the place, so that’s always good to know. So Clay’s presentation style and the atmosphere is electric. It’s so energetic, it’s so fun. Clay’s hilarious, but also knows a ton, so it’s just really great all around. This conference is much different than any other conference I’ve gone to, again, because it’s fun. A lot of other conferences, it’s really quiet, really cold, and you just kind of get bored. But this one, you’re always engaged, you’re always learning something, and the staff is amazing. They’re always super helpful. So, it’s just been really great. My name’s Clint Haller. We’re a personal training and fitness training facility. Oh, wow, I’m learning a ton. Like this morning so far, it’s been search engine optimization. So really just the importance of being at the top of Google, how Google works, and why it’s so important to go out and get video reviews and testimonials and getting Google reviews. And so all those things, we can take back and really apply that immediately. So it’s really cool to see not only how to do it, but really the relevance and importance of it in the long-term strategy of your business. Now, it’s amazing actually the way in this morning and yesterday I was videoing as I was walking in the front entrance. And actually me, I go to a lot of seminars, I go to a lot of conferences, massive ones. I’ve been doing that since I was like 22 years old, so I got to almost 20 years now. And this is by far the most entertaining, not only the content, the content is amazing, but Clay and you guys did a great job of mixing in entertainment where it’s fun, it’s fresh, it’s lively, you never get bored. And I heard a study one time that the reason that children learn so much quicker is because it’s fun, learning is fun. So obviously Clay is nailed that, where it’s very fun to be here and keeps you awake, keeps you energized, so I’m having a blast. Yeah, I think any business owner or someone that wants to own a business or considering owning and starting a business should definitely come. I know that I was referred here by friends of mine and clients of mine and I’ve referred other people. Again, just to understand what it takes to make a business successful, to have a good time, obviously, like I was just saying, have fun. And that works, there’s a lot of other people here you can learn from and there’s a lot of breaks you can talk to other people. So I think this is a must-see and great event. It owns the business, and the board wants to start this. My name is Jamie Fagel. I’m with Jameson Fine Cabinetry. I heard about the conference through Andrew. He’s the coach that I deal with here at The Thrive. The most valuable piece I found, even working with Andrew, but it’s been solidified when it came here, was you’ve got to actually do the things that they’re telling you. With no action, you’re not going to get anything from it. I would highly recommend this to almost anybody in business today. I have recommended it to some of my other business partners. It’s phenomenal. It’s really something that, if you want to start a business, the old way of doing things is gone. This is what you’ve got to do. It’s the only way it’ll work. Hey, this is Charles and Amber Kola. We’re the owners of Kola Fitness. The way we’re able to do that is working with Clay for the last three years. He has really readjusted our thinking and taught us that our business is here to serve us and by doing that we’re able to live the lifestyle we want and take off on a random vacation last minute. We had totally planned on being at the conference so wish we could be there and meet all of you. We know you’re having a great time. Yes, Clay in the last three years has helped us build all the necessary systems, checklists, workflows, task lists, time blocks, audits that are always running and the right capable lieutenants to keep track of all that so that you too can get time freedom, financial freedom and that’s what we have done and Clay has helped us do. We’ve got multiple companies in multiple states and they’re all doing very well getting ready to go to more locations in this next year and Co-op Fitness has a really big future. We’re teaming up with a couple other groups and we should scale the company here shortly. Hopefully we’ll open like 50 locations in the next 10 years. So but yeah we’re on the way. We’re gonna probably more than double our company, maybe triple our company in the next eight to nine months and it’s just awesome. God is working in our business and we’re making Jesus and changing lives. We’re a strong Christian company that focuses on making Jesus famous and changing lives in the fitness field. And this is Charles and Amber Cola. Thank you Thrive. Hit your action items. We love you guys. We wish you were there. You guys have a wonderful day. Bye-bye. My name is Jennifer Johnson. I’m in the pest control industry and also weed control fertilization and my business is Platinum Pest and Lawn. Some of the things that… I’ll be able to apply a lot of the things that I’ve learned in our business because this is not my first conference. And so a lot of the things that we learned we’ve put into place and now we’re doing the next level of refining the processes for just a different concept. And so it’s getting better and better. Things that were just big processes before, we have the foundation laid and now we’re able to make it better and better and I’m hearing different things now that we’ve implemented things and so we can just make it even better implementing it in our own business. Clay’s presentation and the atmosphere is very exciting and fun. It keeps you awake. It makes it just entertaining enough that you retain what you learn. Lots of rhyming and catchy things so that you remember stuff. What makes you unique? Something that makes this conference different than other workshops or conferences that I’ve been to is that there’s a lot of people here in my same situation. Most of us are pretty small businesses wanting to improve. And we want real-life information and something that will work and that’s attainable and not just some crazy magic formula but actual action items that we can implement in our business and actually see a difference. Everyone should attend a Thrive Type business conference whether you’re a business owner or not. applications that you can apply to so many different parts of your business and then you need to come back for more so that you can keep doing more of the wonderful things that you learn. But secondly, I am also a mom of three kids and a lot of the concepts can actually be applied to home like getting routines and getting setting systems at home has just seriously made a huge difference in my life at home. So I’ve been able to improve our business, but I’ve also been able to improve things at home. And so that’s why everyone should come, no matter what your station is in life. My name is Nolan Hugh. I’m originally from San Francisco, California. The industry that I’m in is financial services. I’ve learned a ton so far, but what I can best apply from this conference is the opportunity, that hunger to go out there and make a big difference in my district. His presentation style is amazing. He’s got an endless amount of energy. It’s contagious. And yeah, by being here, I really do want to go back and be able to face all the adversity that the industry has. Yeah, this conference, the thing that makes it different is that it’s special because it has a unique set of individuals that all share that same energy. I think he typed it as dragon energy, but yeah. Everyone should come to multiple, but their first would be very special. Yeah, you’re welcome with a lot of enthusiasm. That’ll last for a long time. My name is Gabriella Cruz. Our business is PTS Electric. My husband’s the owner, but I’m involved with that, and so we’re an electric company. Well, here at the conference, they talk a lot about consistency, and so just staying consistent with different things in the business. I feel like applying that to our business model will really help us grow. The atmosphere is very positive, uplifting, and then it’s very fun and energetic. And so it gets you pumped and it gets you excited, and it encourages you to do big things. I probably have a real they are. They tell you upfront what you need to do and what’s like a no-go and some conferences are, they kind of trigger code things. So I like how real they are here. I think it’ll definitely, if you want your business to grow, I think this would be a great, a great experience and then not only that, it’ll encourage you and inform you on so many things you don’t think about on a daily basis. Hey, I’m Ryan Wimpey. I’m originally from Tulsa, born and raised here. I’ve definitely learned a lot about life design and making sure the business serves you. The linear workflow, the linear workflow for us in getting everything out on paper and documented is really important. We have workflows that are kind of all over the place, so having linear workflow and seeing that mapped out on multiple different boards is pretty awesome. That’s really helpful for me. The atmosphere here is awesome. I definitely just stared at the walls figuring out how to make my facility look like this place. This place rocks. It’s invigorating, the walls are super, it’s just very cool. The atmosphere is cool, the people are nice, it’s a pretty cool place to be. Very good learning atmosphere. I literally want to model it and steal everything that’s here at this facility and basically create it just on our business side. The play is hilarious. I literally laughed so hard that I started having tears yesterday. And we’ve been learning a lot, which, you know, we’ve been sitting here, we’ve been learning a lot, so the humor definitely helps, it breaks it up. But the content is awesome, off the charts, and it’s very interactive, you can raise your hand, it’s not like you’re just listening to the professor speak you know the wizard teaches but the wizard interacts and he takes questions so that’s awesome. If you’re not attending the conference you’re missing about three-quarters to half of your life. You’re definitely it’s it’s probably worth a couple thousand dollars so you’re missing the thought process of someone who’s already started like nine profitable businesses. So not only is it a lot of good information, but just getting in the thought process of Clay Clark or Dr. Zellner or any of the other coaches, getting in the thought process of how they’re starting all these businesses, to me just that is priceless. That’s money. Well, we’re definitely not getting upsold here. My wife and I have attended conferences where they upsold, where it was great information and then they upsold us like half the conference, and I don’t wanna like bang my head into a wall, and she’s like banging her head into the chair in front of her. Like, it’s good information, but we’re like, oh my gosh, I wanna strangle you, shut up, and go with the presentation that we paid for, and that’s not here, there’s no upsells or anything, so that’s awesome, I hate that. Oh, it makes me angry, so, glad that’s not happening. So the cost of this conference is quite a bit cheaper than business college. I went to a small private liberal arts college and got a degree in business and I didn’t learn anything like they’re teaching here. I didn’t learn linear workflows. I learned stuff that I’m not using and I haven’t been using for the last nine years. So what they’re teaching here is actually way better than what I got at business school. And I went what was actually ranked as a very good business school. I would definitely recommend that people would check out the Thrive 15 conference. The information that you’re gonna get is just very, very beneficial, and the mindset that you’re gonna get, that you’re gonna leave with, is just absolutely worth the price of a little bit of money and a few days worth of your time. I’m Rachel with Tip Top K9, and we just wanna give a huge thank you to Clay and Vanessa Clark. Hey guys, I’m Ryan with Tip Top K9. Just want to say a big thank you to Thrive 15. Thank you to Make Your Life Epic. We love you guys. We appreciate you and really just appreciate how far you’ve taken us. So this is my old van and our old school marketing and this is our old team. And by team I mean it’s me and another guy. This is our new house with our new neighborhood. This is our new van with our new marketing and this is our new team. We went from four to fourteen and I took this beautiful photo. We worked with several different business coaches in the past, and they were all about helping Ryan sell better and just teaching sales, which is awesome, but Ryan is a really great salesman, so we didn’t need that. We needed somebody to help us get everything that was in his head out into systems, into manuals and scripts, and actually build a team. So now that we have systems in place, we’ve gone from one to 10 locations in only a year. In October 2016, we grossed 13 grand for the whole month. Right now it’s 2018, the month of October. It’s only the 22nd. We’ve already grossed a little over 50 grand for the whole month and we still have time to go. We’re just thankful for you, thankful for Thrive and your mentorship and we’re really thankful that you guys have helped us to grow a business that we run now instead of the business running us. Just thank you, thank you, thank you, times a thousand. So we really just want to thank you, Clay, and thank you, Vanessa, for everything you’ve done, everything you’ve helped us with. We love you guys. Hello, my name is Charles Colaw with Colaw Fitness. Today I want to tell you a little bit about Clay Clark and how I know Clay Clark. Clay Clark has been my business coach since 2017. He’s helped us grow from two locations to now six locations. We’re planning to do seven locations in seven years and then franchise. And Clay’s done a great job of helping us navigate anything that has to do with like running the business, building the systems, the checklists, the workflows, the audits, how to navigate lease agreements, how to buy property, how to work with brokers and builders. This guy is just amazing. This kind of guy has worked in every single industry. He’s written books with like Lee Crocker, or Head of Disney with the 40,000 cast members. He’s friends with like Mike Lindell. He does Reawaken America tours where he does these tours all across the country where 10,000 or more people show up to some of these tours. On the day-to-day, he does anywhere from about 160 companies. He’s at the top. He has a team of business coaches, videographers, and graphic designers and web developers, and they run 160 companies every single week. So think of this guy with a team of business coaches running 160 companies. So in the weekly he’s running 160 companies. Every 6-8 weeks he’s doing reawaken America tours. Every 6-8 weeks he’s also doing business conferences where 200 people show up and he teaches people a 13 step proven system that he’s done and worked with billionaires helping them grow their companies. So I’ve seen guys from startups, go from startup to being multi-millionaires, teaching people how to get time freedom and financial freedom through the system. Critical thinking, document creation, making it, putting it into, organizing everything in their head to building it into a franchisable, scalable business. Like one of his businesses has like 500 franchises. That’s just one of the companies or brands that he works with. So amazing guy, Elon Musk, kind of like smart guy. He kind of comes off sometimes as socially awkward, but he’s so brilliant and he’s taught me so much. When I say that, Clay is like, he doesn’t care what people think when you’re talking to him. He cares about where you’re going in your life and where he can get you to go. And that’s what I like him most about him. He’s like a good coach. A coach isn’t just making you feel good all the time. A coach is actually helping you get to the best you. And Clay has been an amazing business coach. Through the course of that, we became friends. My most impressed with him is when I was shadowing him one time, we went into a business deal and listened to it. I got to shadow and listen to it. And when we walked out, I knew that he could make millions on the deal and they were super excited about working with him. And he told me, he’s like, I’m not gonna touch it, I’m gonna turn it down. Because he knew it was gonna harm the common good of people in the long run and the guy’s integrity just really wowed me. It brought tears to my eyes to see that this guy, his highest desire was to do what’s right and anyways, just an amazing man. So anyways, impacted me a lot. He’s helped navigate. Anytime I’ve gotten nervous or worried about how to run the company or navigating competition and an economy that’s like, I remember we got closed down for three months. He helped us navigate on how to stay open, how to get back open, how to just survive through all the COVID shutdowns, lockdowns, because our clubs were all closed for three months and you have $350,000 of bills you’ve got to pay and we have no accounts receivable. He helped us navigate that. And of course, we were conservative enough that we could afford to take that on for a period of time. But he was a great man. I’m very impressed with him. So Clay, thank you for everything you’re doing. And I encourage you, if you haven’t ever worked with Clay, work with Clay. He’s gonna help magnify you. And there’s nobody I have ever met that has the ability to work as hard as he does. He probably sleeps four, maybe six hours a day, and literally the rest of the time he’s working and he can outwork everybody in the room every single day and and he loves it. So anyways this is Charles Kola with Kola Fitness. Thank you Clay and anybody out there that’s wanting to work with Clay it’s a great great opportunity to ever work with him. So you guys have a blessed one. This is Charles Kola. We’ll see you guys. Bye bye. Hi I’m Aaron Antus with Shaw Homes. I first heard about Clay through a mortgage lender here in town who had told me what a great job he had been doing for them. And I actually noticed he was driving a Lamborghini all of a sudden, so I was willing to listen. In my career, I’ve sold a little over $800 million in real estate. I knew everything about marketing and homes. And then I met Clay and my perception of what I knew and what I could do definitely changed. After doing 800 million in sales over a 15 year career, I really thought I knew what I was doing. I’ve been managing a large team of salespeople for the last 10 years here with Shaw Homes. And I mean, we’ve been a company that’s been in business for 35 years. We’ve become one of the largest builders in the Tulsa area and that was without Clay. So when I came to know Clay I really thought man there’s not much more I need to know but I’m willing to listen. The interesting thing is our internet leads from our website has actually in a four-month period of time has gone from somewhere around 10 to 15 leads in a month to a hundred and eighty internet leads in a month. Just from the few things that he’s shown us how to implement that I honestly probably never would have come up with on my own. So I got a lot of good things to say about the system that Clay put in place with us. And it’s just been an incredible experience. I am very glad that we met and had the opportunity to work with Clay. So the interaction with the team and with Clay on a weekly basis is honestly very enlightening. One of the things that I love about Clay’s perspective on things is that he doesn’t come from my industry. He’s not somebody who’s in the home building industry. I’ve listened to all the experts in my field. Our company has paid for me to go to seminars, international builder shows, all kinds of places where I’ve had the opportunity to learn from the experts in my industry. But the thing that I found working with Clay is that he has a perspective that’s difficult for me to gain because I get so entrenched in what I do I’m not paying attention to what other leading industry experts are doing and Clay really brings that perspective for me. It is very valuable time every week when I get that hour with him. From my perspective the reason that any business owner who’s thinking about hooking up with Thrive needs to definitely consider it is because the results that we’ve gotten in a very short period of time are honestly monumental. It has really exceeded my wildest expectation of what he might be able to do. I came in skeptical because I’m very pragmatic and as I’ve gone through the process over just a few months I’ve realized it’s probably one of the best moves we’ve ever made. I think a lot of people probably feel like they don’t need a business or marketing consultant because they maybe are a little bit prideful and like to think they know everything. I know that’s how I felt coming in. I mean we’re a big company that’s definitely one of the largest in town. And so we kind of felt like we knew what we were doing. And I think for a lot of people, they let their ego get in the way of listening to somebody that might have a better or different perspective than theirs. I would just really encourage you, if you’re thinking about working with Clay, I mean, the thing is, it’s month to month. Go give it a try and see what happens. I think in the 35 year history of Shaw Homes, this is probably the best thing that’s happened to us. And I know if you give them a shot, I think you’ll feel the same way. I know for me, the thing I would have missed out on if I didn’t work with Clay is I would have missed out on literally an 1800% increase in our internet leads. Going from 10 a month to 180 a month, that would have been a huge financial decision to just decide not to give it a shot. I would absolutely recommend Clay Clark to anybody who’s thinking about working with somebody in marketing. I would skip over anybody else you were thinking about and I would go straight to Clay and his team. I guarantee you’re not going to regret it because we sure haven’t. My name is Danielle Sprick, and I am the founder of D. Sprick Realty Group here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After being a stay-at-home mom for 12 years and my three kids started school and they were in school full time, I was at a crossroads and trying to decide, what do I want to do. The processes and the advertising and marketing, I knew that I did not have what I needed to make that what it should be. So I reached out to Clay at that time. And he and his team have been extremely instrumental in helping us build our brand, help market our business, our agents, the homes that we represent. With everything that I encountered, everything that I experienced, I quickly learned it is worth every penny to have someone in your team that can walk you through and even avoid some of the pitfalls that are almost invariable in starting your own business. I’m Dr. Chad Edwards and I own Revolution Health and Wellness Clinic. JT, do you know what time it is? 4.10. It’s TiVo time and Tocerosalum, baby. 410 it’s It’s Tivo time and talk to me from baby Tim Tebow is coming to Tulsa, Oklahoma June 27th and 28th we’ve been doing business conferences here since 2005 I’ve been hosting business conferences since 2005 what year were you born? 1995 dude I’ve been hosting business conferences since you were 10 years old But I’ve never had to the two-time Heisman Award winning Tim Tebow come present. And a lot of people, you know, have followed Tim Tebow’s football career on the field and off the field. And off the field, the guy’s been just as successful as he has been on the field. Now, the big question is, JT, how does he do it? Well, they’re going to have to come and find out because I don’t know. Well, I’m just saying Tim Tebow is going to teach us how he organizes his day, how he organizes his life, how he’s proactive with his faith, his family, his finances. He’s going to walk us through his mindset that he brings into the gym, into business. It is going to be a blasty blast in Tulsa, Russia. Also, this is the first Thrive Time Show event that we’ve had where we’re going to have a man who has built a $100 million net worth. Wow. Who’ll be presenting. Now, we’ve had a couple of presenters that have had a billion dollar net worth in some real estate sort of things. But this is the first time we’ve had a guy who’s built a service business, and he’s built over a hundred million dollar net worth in the service business. It’s the yacht driving, multi-state living guru of franchising. Peter Taunton will be in the house. This is the founder of Snap Fitness, the guy behind nine round boxing. He’s going to be here in Tulsa, Russel, Oklahoma, June 27th and 28th. JT, why should everybody want to hear what Peter Taunton has to say? Oh, because he’s incredible. He’s just a fountain of knowledge. He is awesome. He has inspired me listening to him talk. Not only that, he also has, he practices what he teaches, so he’s a real teacher. He’s not a fake teacher like business school teachers. So you’ve got to come learn from him. Also let me tell you this, folks, I don’t want to get this wrong, because if I get it wrong, someone’s going to say, you screwed that up, buddy. So Michael Levine, this is Michael Levine. He’s going to be coming. He said, who’s Michael Levine? I don’t get this wrong. This is the PR consultant of choice for Michael Jackson, Prince, for Nike, for Charlton Heston, for Nancy Kerrigan, 34 Grammy Award winners, 43 New York Times bestselling authors he’s represented, including pretty much everybody you know who’s been a super celebrity. This is Michael Levine, a good friend of mine. He’s going to come and talk to you about personal branding and the mindset needed to be super successful. The lineup will continue to grow. We have hit Christian reporting artist Colton Dixon in the house. Now people say, Colton Dixon’s in the house? Yes, Colton Dixon’s in the house. So if you like top 40 Christian music, Colton Dixon’s going to be in the house performing. The lineup will continue to grow each and every day. We’re going to add more and more speakers to this all-star lineup. But I encourage everybody out there today, get those tickets today. Go to Thrivetimeshow.com. Again, that’s Thrivetimeshow.com. And some people might be saying, well, how do I do it? What do I do? How does it work? You just go to Thrivetimeshow.com. Let’s go there now. We’re feeling the flow. We’re going to Thrivetimeshow.com. Again, you just go to Thrivetimeshow.com. You click on the Business Conferences button, and you click on the request tickets button right there. The way I do our conferences is we tell people it’s $250 to get a ticket or whatever price that you can afford. And the reason why I do that is I grew up without money. JT, you’re in the process of building a super successful company. Did you start out with a million dollars in the bank account? No, I did not. Nope, did not get any loans, nothing like that, did not get an inheritance from parents, anything like that. I had to work for it. And I am super grateful I came to a business conference. Thrive Time Show two-day interactive business workshops are the world’s highest rated and most reviewed business workshops because we teach you what you need to know to grow. You can learn the proven 13-point business system that Dr. Zellner and I have used over and over to start and grow successful companies. We get into the specifics, the specific steps on what you need to do to optimize your website. We’re going to teach you how to fix your conversion rate. We’re going to teach you how to do a social media marketing campaign that works. How do you raise capital? How do you get a small business loan? We teach you everything you need to know here during a two-day, 15-hour workshop. It’s all here for you. You work every day in your business, but for two days you can escape and work on your business and build these proven systems so now you can have a successful company that will produce both the time freedom and the financial freedom that you deserve. You’re going to leave energized, motivated, but you’re also going to leave empowered. The reason why I built these workshops is because as an entrepreneur I always wish that I had this. And because there wasn’t anything like this, I would go to these motivational seminars, and they would never teach me anything. It was like you went there and you paid for the big chocolate Easter bunny, but inside of it, it was a hollow nothingness. And I wanted the knowledge, and they’re like, oh, but we’ll teach you the knowledge after our next workshop. And the great thing is we have nothing to upsell. At every workshop, we teach you what you need to know. There’s no one in the back of the room trying to sell you some next big get rich quick, walk on hot coals product. It’s literally, we teach you the brass tacks, the specific stuff that you need to know to learn how to start and grow a business. I encourage you to not believe what I’m saying, and I want you to Google the Z66 auto auction. I want you to Google elephant in the room. Look at Robert Zellner and Associates. and associates, look them up and say, are they successful because they’re geniuses or are they successful because they have a proven system? When you do that research, you will discover that the same systems that we use in our own business can be used in your business. Come to Tulsa, book a ticket, and I guarantee you it’s gonna be the best business workshop ever and we’re gonna give you your money back if you don’t love it. We’ve built this facility for you and we’re excited to see it. And now you may be thinking, See ya. And now you may be thinking, what does it actually cost to attend an in-person, two-day interactive Thrive Time Show business workshop? Well, good news, the tickets are $250 or whatever price that you can afford. What? Yes, they’re $250 or whatever price you can afford. I grew up without money and I know what it’s like to live without money, so if you’re out there today and you want to attend our in-person, two-day interactive business workshop, all you gotta do is go to Thrivetimeshow.com to request those tickets. Watch what a person does, not what they say. Good morning, good morning, good morning. Harvard Keosak University Radio Show. Today I’m broadcasting from Phoenix, Arizona, not Scottsdale, Arizona. They’re closed, but they’re completely different worlds. And I have a special guest today. Definition of intelligence is if you agree with me, you’re intelligent. And so this gentleman is very intelligent. I’ve done this show before also, but very seldom do you find somebody who lines up on all counts as Mr. Clay Clark, he’s a friend of a good friend, Eric Trump. But we’re also talking about money, bricks, and how screwed up the world can get in a few and a half hours. So Clay Clark is a very intelligent man, and there’s so many ways we could take this thing. Since you and Eric are close, Trump, what were you saying about what Trump can’t, what Donald, who’s my age, and I can say or cannot say? What was- Well, first of all, I have to honor you, sir. I wanna show you what I did to one of your books here. There’s a guy named Jeremy Thorne, who was my boss at the time. I was 19 years old, working at Faith Highway. I had a job at Applebee’s, Target, and DirecTV. And he said, have you read this book, Rich Dad, Poor Dad? And I said, no. And my father, may he rest in peace, he didn’t know these financial principles. So I started reading all of your books and really devouring your books. And I went from being an employee to self-employed to the business owner, to the investor. And I owe a lot of that to you. And I just wanted to take a moment to tell you, thank you so much for allowing me to achieve success. And I’ll tell you all about Eric Trump. I just want to tell you, thank you, sir, for changing my life. Well, not only that, Clay, thank you, but you’ve become an influencer. More than anything else, you’ve evolved into an influencer where your word has more and more power. So that’s why I congratulate you on becoming. Because as you know, there’s a lot of fake influencers out there, or bad influencers. Yeah. So anyway, I’m glad you and I agree so much, and thanks for reading my books. Yeah. That’s the greatest thrill for me today. Not a thrill, but recognition is when people, young men especially, come up and say, I read your book, changed my life, I’m doing this, I’m doing this, I’m doing this. I learned at the Academy, Kings Point in New York, acta non verba, watch what a person does, not what they say. Whoa! Hey, I’m Ryan Wimpy. I’m originally from Tulsa, born and raised here. The linear workflow. The linear workflow for us in getting everything out on paper and documented is really important. We have workflows that are kind of all over the place. Having linear workflow and seeing that mapped out on multiple different boards is pretty awesome. That’s really helpful for me. The atmosphere here is awesome. I definitely just stared at the walls figuring out how to make my facility look like this place. This place rocks. It’s invigorating. The walls are super, it’s just very cool. The atmosphere is cool. The people are nice. It’s a pretty cool place to be. Very good learning atmosphere. I literally want to model it and steal everything that’s here at this facility and basically create it just on our business side. Once I saw what they were doing, I knew I had to get here at the conference. This is probably the best conference or seminar I’ve ever been to in over 30 years of business. You’re not bored. You’re awake and alive the whole time. It’s not pushy. They don’t try to sell you a bunch of things. I was looking to learn how to just get control of my life, my schedule, and just get control of business. Planning your time, breaking it all down, making time for the F6 in your life, and just really implementing it and sticking with the program. It’s really lively, they’re pretty friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. I attended a conference a couple months back, and it was really the best business conference I’ve ever attended. At the workshop I learned a lot about time management, really prioritizing what’s the most important. The biggest takeaways are, you know, you want to take a step-by-step approach to your business. Whether it’s marketing, you know, what are those three marketing tools that you want to use to human resources. Some of the most successful people and successful businesses in this town, their owners were here today because they wanted to know more from Clay, and I found that to be kind of fascinating. The most valuable thing that I’ve learned is diligence. That businesses don’t change overnight. It takes time and effort and you’ve got to go through the ups and downs of getting it to where you want to go. He actually gives you the road map out. I was stuck, didn’t know what to do and he gave me the road map out step by step. We’ve set up systems in the business that make my life much easier, allow me some time freedom. Here you can ask any question you want, they guarantee it will be answered. This conference motivates me and also gives me a lot of knowledge and tools. It’s up to you to do it. Everybody can do these things. There’s stuff that everybody knows, but if you don’t do it, nobody else is going to do it for you. I can see the marketing working, and it’s just an approach that makes sense. Probably the most notable thing is just the income increase that we’ve had. Everyone’s super fun and super motivating. I’ve been here before but I’m back again because it motivated me. Your competition’s going to come eventually or try to pick up these tactics. So you better, if you don’t, somebody else will. I’m Rachel with Tip Top K9 and we just want to give a huge thank you to Clay and Vanessa Clark. Hey guys, I’m Ryan with Tip Top K9. Just want to say a big thank you to Thrive 15. Thank you to Make Your Life Epic. We love you guys, we appreciate you, and really just appreciate how far you’ve taken us. This is our old house, right? This is where we used to live a few years ago. This is our old neighborhood. See? It’s nice, right? So this is my old van and our old school marketing, and this is our old team. And by team, I mean it’s me and another guy. This is our new house with our new neighborhood. This is our new van with our new marketing and this is our new team. We went from four to 14 and I took this beautiful photo. We worked with several different business coaches in the past and they were all about helping Ryan sell better and just teaching sales, which is awesome, but Ryan is a really great salesman, so we didn’t need that. We needed somebody to help us get everything that was in his head out into systems, into manuals and scripts and actually build a team. So now that we have systems in place, we’ve gone from one to ten locations in only a year. In October 2016, we grew to 13 grand for the whole month. Right now it’s 2018, the month of October. It’s only the 22nd, we’ve already grossed a little over 50 grand for the whole month and we still have time to go. If you decide to not attend the ThriveCon workshop, you’re missing out on a great opportunity. The atmosphere at Clay’s office is very lively. You can feel the energy as soon as you walk through the door. And it really got me and my team very excited. If you decide not to come, you’re missing out on an opportunity to grow your business. Bottom line. Love the environment. I love the way that Clay presents and teaches. It’s a way that not only allows me to comprehend what’s going on, but he explains it in a way to where it just makes sense. The SEO optimization, branding, marketing, I’ve learned more in the last two days than I have the entire four years of college. ♪ The most valuable thing that I’ve learned, marketing is key, marketing is everything. Making sure that you’re branded accurately and clearly. How to grow a business using Google reviews. And then just how to optimize our name through our website also. Helpful with a lot of marketing, search engine optimization, helping us really rank high in Google. The biggest thing I needed to learn was how to build my foundation, how to systemize everything and optimize everything, build my SEO. How to become more organized, more efficient. How to make sure the business is really there to serve me, as opposed to me constantly being there for the business. New ways of advertising my business, as well as recruiting new employees. Group interviews, number one. Before we felt like we were held hostage by our employees. Group interviews has completely eliminated that, because you’re able to really find the people that would really be the best fit. Hands on how to hire people, how to deal with human resources, a lot about marketing and overall just how to structure the business, how it works for me and also then how that can translate into working better for my clients. The most valuable thing I’ve learned here is time management. Life in one hour of doing your business is real critical if I’m going to grow and change. Play really teaches you how to navigate through those things and not only find freedom, but find your purpose in your business and find the purposes for all those other people that directly affect your business as well. Everybody. Everybody. Everybody. Everyone. Everyone needs to attend the conference because you get an opportunity to see that it’s real. you
