Welcome back to the thrive time show on your radio and on today’s show we’re talking about a topic that is very near and dear to my heart and we’re talking about the topic of why would anybody want to attend our thrive time show business conferences we had. I don’t know if the listeners out there in Tulsa recognizes, I’m not sure if you, if you’re aware of this or maybe if you had any idea, but the radio show you’re listening to right now, the thrive time show, we’re actually the number one or we’re the number one rated podcast in the world on on all categories, on the itunes charts. So that just happened here on the July second at a, between a six in the morning and 10 in the morning. We were on the number of all podcasts and the whole world of which there are 530,000 plus podcasts according to the Wall Street Journal.

We were the number one and uh, in the area of business and the category of business on the itunes charts were consistently in the top 10. And you might say to yourself, well, why? Well, it’s certainly not because of my talent because I don’t have very much in the form of talent. It’s because great people like you are implementing the systems that you’re learning and you are either a one on one coaching client or you’re a podcast listener or you’re a business conferences attendee, but your, you’re, uh, implementing the systems that you’re learning and you’re beginning to have a disproportionate amount of success according to a. If you look at the, the gross domestic product. If you look at the growth of the American economy, most studies you can find today showing or showing that the American economy right now is growing at about a four percent growth rate.

If you’re saying, what is the GDP for right now? We have three point six. Uh, it was according to, uh, this will be CNBC and I’ll put a link to it on the show notes here. According to CNBC right now, the, the overall GDP is growing at a current rate of three percent, three percent. So if that, if we’re growing at a percent as an economy, um, what percentage do you think our clients need to grow at? What rate of growth to our clients need to grow at, for that to be phenomenal? Or if that to be remarkable or for that to be better than average, at what point would, what would the growth of our clients be so high that you would take note of it and say, wow, those guys are. Their clients are really growing at a phenomenal rate.

I think that if our average client was growing at a rate that’s 10 times faster than the average American business, then we would have something remarkable and that’s what we have. That’s what we have, that that’s my take on it, and if you’re the listener, your job is to make sure that you don’t believe what I’m seeing. Ronald Reagan, the president, the former president of United States once said, trust but verify, uh, the former CEO of Intel once said, only the paranoid survive. So what you have to do is we’re going to build trust together by you assuming that what I’m saying is not real. So I’m going to play an audio testimonial for you from one of our long time clients. Uh, so when somebody comes to a game, they want to come back working with clay and the staff at thrive, uh, they’ve really helped us in many, many ways. Website and graphic design. And video production and a lot of things that go along in a lot of businesses, including ours, doesn’t have a staff for a full time videographer or graphic designer. But the biggest thing that we noticed was the needle mover, more sales, more attendance and more successes in business. We had a record year last season working with clay for the first time. Our average attendance is higher than it’s ever been. Uh, so there was a lot of really cool things that we did and they worked. That’s the nice thing about working with clay and the team over there, it’s just not one person. Here’s my question. If you strip away the conditioning, if you strip away the fear and you prime yourself for your true nature, gratitude, who loves strength, caring, passion, alive. This is what we’re made for. This is who we are. Everything else is just fear and conditioning and we are more than anything that could ever happen to us more than anything we could ever face.

So I’ll just use all these ideas about how I feel and go out there and pay my mortgage with these new feelings. No, our conferences are focused on teaching you the specific moves that you can use to create time freedom and financial freedom. So let’s do an example. Uh, one of the members of the thrive nation that would be a company called tip top canine based in Oklahoma City. The Guy who opened up the location, his name is seth, s e t h seth, seth and his wife have opened up tip top canine in Oklahoma City. And in their first two weeks, three weeks a business. How much have they generated in sales? How much gross revenue have they done? What, what do, what do you think? What’s a, what’s a number that’s reasonable? If you’ve been in business, you know, you’ve, you’ve started the business. He’s invested a five to six weeks into training.

I think it was six weeks into training. How to become an effective dog trainer. He’s been open there, you know, for less than a month. How much gross revenue do you think he’s done in in the first three, four weeks? Well, he did $26,000 in the first 10 days. Now his profit margin on that is about 10 percent. Nope. Twenty percent? No. Thirty percent? Yes. What are you saying that you could make over $6,000 a week. Training dogs? Yes, but that’s what we teach at our conferences. We don’t get into the smoke and mirrors and the feelings and the alignment and all these other stupid things that don’t help people. If you want to talk about your alignment and how you feel about how they feel about how you feel, go to church you or go to a Tony Robbins business workshops and then we’ll eventually see what our seminar.

When you realize that your feelings don’t matter, you can deposit your feelings at the bank. No, no. You cannot deposit your feelings at the bank. You have to deposit real money and when you discover that proverbs 13, 11 was right in that wealth wealth created through. Get quick schemes. Proverbs 1311 reads, dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow. When you discover that the tip top canine system, it took over 10 years to build a canal, be yours. If you want to invest in your own business where you say, I don’t want to do that, I want to grow my own business, my own niche, fine. When you look at barbee cookies and the growth, she said, let me just play the audio for you for a Barbie cookies so you can hear the excitement in her voice from a real business owner who really did grow her real business. That’s barbee cookies at like 95th ish and memorial in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Wait, this year’s sales for this week is the same week last year. Do you see the difference? I can’t really tell. One is Michael, can you. Can we want to get it? And on today’s show we’re answering the question that is, what is the best business workshop in the world? What is the best business conferences? This just in we at the thrive time show produced the world’s best and most humble business workshop. And after you gather your feelings and your wine, your feelings with your feelings and how you feel about how you feel and how they feel about how you feel, and you become passionate about your profits and you become passionate, you get, you get a vision for the future and you’re motivated to become the person you were meant to be. You’re not going to be held back by the belief systems that have held you back. Marsha, you’re still going to have to get to the top of Google. That’s right. Can I get passionate about this? You’re still going to have to make a performance. Can I get passionate about. They’re still going to have to know about Brandon Marshall, please. This is unbelievable because during that short clip there, at no point was there a point where this just in at no point was there a point.

Okay? And so everybody that’s listening to this, all of the business owners know that they’re all super passionate about their business. They all want their business. We’ve established that. We know they’re passionate about the profits. That’s why. That’s why we’re listening to the show. That’s why we’re getting better, that’s why we’re doing things to actually improve the business, but passion alone is not going to help you build a successful business. You’ve got to know what to do, and so you’ll go to all these other business conferences and at no point is there a point, what is their practical that I can implement into my business? And that’s what the thrive time show is all about. It’s about the specific things that you need to do once you get back to the office to begin getting to the top of Google, hiring effectively managing people. Me, give an example.

Um, I, I’m a man who’s been married for 17 years and now Darlin we were, we were Reagan Darlin Tucker on the shutter. I wonder if designers, darling, you can make fun of me, but I’m going to put my life out there for all to judge. But Darling, how are you doing my friend? I’m doing good. Thank you. Hey, welcome back onto the show. And by the way, you just have to eat that microphone like it’s your favorite bratwurst ever. That’s just the deal. So I’ve been married 17 years and it wasn’t until about 2007 when I really pushed all my wife’s buttons. I went to a mentor in my life and I said, can you tell me specifically what I need to do? I don’t care why I need to do it. I don’t care why. She feels about how I feel about how you feel.

I don’t care about the ethics of it. I don’t want to know about the love languages. I don’t want to know about the Bible verses I don’t care about Christ instructing us to love our wife the way that Christ loved the church. I don’t care about any of that. I just want to know specifically on a daily basis, give me a checklist of what to do. I don’t know if that’s now you I’m sure have never, never had those thoughts. That’s what I’ve had that thought of. So I’ll figure it out. You know what was crazy Marshall once I was given the list of what to do? Well, what was crazy about? Well first I wrote it down, so let me turn to the things that I was told to do. One, take your wife on a date every week, and so I got out my calendar and I scheduled a date with my wife, with my wife.

Every week I’m pulling up on. I’m pulling up on the big screen behind you guys, so I put it into the calendar. There is smoothing nights with my wife at Sig that smoothie nights or smooth. He notes. Oh, let me. Let me try it. That is movie night, but. No, but seriously, I have salad. I make salad with the kids. I grill on Monday. You see it Tuesday. I have this with the kids. Wednesday have smoothie nights. Thursday I’m allowed to man cave record now. Friday I take kids on a date. Saturday, Saturday I can take my wife on a date. And Sunday I went on, went on a date. So I went to see the new Mr Rogers movie on a Sunday night, uh, with the math ones, after taking my wife on kind of a, a date where we went to the store where you buy plants and things you want to plant shrubs and whiskey barrels cut in half so you can put plants in them and whatever that is. And I don’t really know why it works, but it works. But it works. Now. That might seem unethical. You mean that you are scheduling? Yes. Your family time, your personal time, just like you would all of the business items. Why do you schedule it? And I text my wife a word of encouragement every morning. Why? Because the wizard who’s been married longer than me happily told me what to do and I did those things.

There’s a phrase of a friend of mine, very, very good friend of mine, very successful entrepreneur, and he was not in shape. And so we hired a trainer and this trainer he hired. The guy says, here’s why you do it. Here’s what do you do? You feel it? Are you? Do you have the passion? Do you have the energy? Do you want to do it? Do you need to do it? What is motivating you? Why are you motivated to get in the best shape of your life? Give me your five reasons. Peel it back. You tell me I want you to, and it’s just this whole like borderline cult culture and my friends not really getting in good shit, good shape. So then he reaches out to a trainer and he says, Mr. Trainer, if you’ll make me a list of what to eat everyday specifically and what workouts to do, I will do it.

And do you know what happened to my good friend Martin? What happened? He worked out with the trainer, did the work. He did the workouts everyday and he ate the exact same diet that his trainer asked him to do and you want to have in Marshall. Educate me. He started to look like his trainer. He lost weight. Some people love the trump economy. Some people hate the trump economy. No matter what you and I think about it, the gross domestic product, the overall rate of growth of our economy is up about three percent. Some economists say two point nine, some say for, but what I’m saying is that Dr April lie and her partner, Dr Morrow, m o r r o, w with A. Again, this is moral in lie PD, morrow lie and determine pediatric dentistry.

These guys have grown their business this year by 63 point three, three percent. How they’re implementing the best practices that work well. Clay, what is your trick? There’s no trick. I teach a proven path and people that are diligent and who want to execute it, they have success. People that want to skip meetings, people that don’t want to execute their action items. People that want to oversleep, people that want to act like they’re in a 40 hour workweek employee job where you can call in sick and take days off. They don’t like the program. I almost can’t handle it, but that is what it’s what’s what’s going on in most business conferences. It’s where they try to remain. We’ll try to make a business or growing a successful business, a quasi religious activity, but I have a lot more respect for that kind of workshop that I have for a guy like Leroy Thompson who tries to make a running a business and growing a business. Frankly, just a a religious discussion. Leroy Thompson is a pastor who literally teaches that. If you just say, money cometh and stand on God’s promises that you’re going to be rich. Well, let me tell you what I grew up in. A family where my parents went to church every week. I don’t recall them missing weeks. If they did miss a week, they try to make up for going on Wednesdays and Sundays and that’s part of royal rangers and all these different things and I do believe that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior.

I do believe in the literal interpretation of the Bible, but I also do not believe that simply as a of of putting money into some offering or some kind of tie that all of a sudden I’m going to build a workflow that all of a sudden I’m going to be able to build a permalink for my website. That makes sense that all of a sudden I’m going to be able to build a pro forma that all of a sudden I’m going to be able to file my taxes strategically. All of that stuff is just tactical strategic specific line item, step by step stuff that must be done. If you want to build a successful company, you have to know the specific steps that you need to take and so I’m going to play for you a testimonial from a real thriver out there who’s implemented are real systems and let’s see if what she’s saying to you makes more sense than what we just heard at the last motivational.

Friday should, I don’t know about you, but I would rather have real money and real excitement as a result of real results then to feel motivated at the end of a workshop where somebody played upon and preyed upon my emotional weaknesses. I’m, I’m telling you, look at somebody and tell them it’s my breakthrough time. Tell him to bout to turn around for me financially.

Tell you what happened. I’m telling you that was a prophetic anointing on this and I’m telling you in bocca happen, we gonna pull this level. Heard y’all caught a level up here. I’ll pull it three times and when we put it, something going to happen to you. Look at somebody. Tell them my bills paid. the problem is after your audience sobers up from the motivational rush that they experienced as a result of you praying upon their emotions, they still don’t have any money. the best business conference and what is the path to really creating time and financial freedom with a busIness. All right, so someone says, okay, I just want to know what is the path? What is the path to creating true sustainable time and financial freedom? Oh, I thought you would never ask. Okay, so let’s walk you through the steps here. Step one, you have to find a, find a problem that you can solve for the world. Find a problem that you can solve for the world that the world is willing to pay for. What I’m writing that down, find a problem that you consult for the world that the world is willing to pay for. A lot of people get hung up on this. Well, there is one. There’s one particular. I’m just introducing you to the, uh, this is going to be a very brand tastic show. So I’m just introducing you to a business models that I know that work. One of them is, uh, was founded by my partner and friend, uh, Jonathan Barnett and that company is called oxi fresh. So what is the problem that they solve? What is the problem that they solve? It’s a deep concept. Is the problem that the oxi fresh carpet cleaning franchise solves. Ah, they help provide jobs for the community.

I don’t know. I don’t know. What they do is they help clean carpet, right? They cleaned carpet. And why is it valuable to have a company that cleans carpet? And so we’ve talked, we’ve talked about this a lot, but I think people are tuning in for the first time as we’re getting to the top of, of itunes again, here we continue to move into the top podcast in the world. What in the world’s going on, we’re in the. We’re at the top or were in the top 10 or the top 20. So this is, this is new stuff for some folks. So what you do is you find a problem that you can solve for the world that the world is willing to pay you for, right? Step two, you want to differentiate it. So imagine you could. You saw a big pasture of field out there with cows. I mean there are cows everywhere. Cow over there. Look, there’s the count when we’re driving down the road. Let’s say you’re driving down the road and in Colorado you’re going out to denver to visit the oxi fresh world headquarters, the oxi fresh franchise world headquarters. You’re driving out to denver. When you see a cow, do you pull over and say, oh my god, we got to pull over.

That’s correct. We’re a green carpet cleaning company were franchise and I love what I do and it’s been a lot of funand you’ve studied this in school, but you also used to work for a carpet cleaning service and you realize that you could do it more environmental. Yeah, I mean I grew up watching my grandpa would be an entrepreneur and he always inspired me. I remember him starting businesses and always, um, starting starting and stuff. I want to be like that. I cleaned carpet growing up and in grad school is setting franchising and wanted to start moving carpet cleaning business and so, and you put 10 grand of your own money into this.

I put, I put some money, have definitely ended in into it. And um, you know, the neat thing about service business is it’s a low overhead model so you can get started with not that much money, but I had a lot of passion and uh, you know, we’re a green business so there’s a need. there was a need for a green carpet cleaning company out there that I, that I felt. And so, you know, It’s, it’s been a lot, a lot of fun.

Tim was looking at them like, hmm, investment opportunity in. So now for your franchisees, what are the opportunities for them, do you think?

Well, you know, we’ve grown pretty fast. We have over 245 locations and around four years in 45 states and our franchisees have protected territories and say love that. And, uh, the neat thing about our franchisees, what they love is there a building lifetime customers, so it’s something that they’re all passionate about and uh, you know, oxi fresh is a, been a lot of fun for everyone involved.

Alright, but you’re only using five percent of the water that a normal carpet cleaner takes, I think is fascinating. So that was a good move on your part. It seems for this,

Like I just want to be able to retire someday or I just hope I can get health insurance. Geez, we start to have these kind of pathetic week goals. We stopped wanting to go to the game or wanting to travel or, or have the nice house or we start, we just stop having goals. I mean we stopped. I mean, maybe for you, you know, your goal is just to have all the time needed to read books or do you want to go to Israel and visit the birthplace of, of christ or I don’t know what your goals are, but all of a sudden you get to be 30 logical, quit having goals and it’s because they don’t have the time freedom or the financial freedom to achieve those goals.

So my job, my goal is to help you escape that trap of go to work, go to church, go home. Oh ride, go to work, go to church, go home, I’m 30, go to work, go to church, go home, I’m for it. Go to work, go to church, go home. I’m 50, my knee hurts. Go to work, go to church, go home, I’m 70, I stop. I don’t like the song. Okay, fine. So if you want to create the time freedom you need, what you have to do, step one is you have to find a problem that the world is willing to pay you to solve. Find a problem that you can solve for the world that the world is willing to pay you to solve. Okay? Step to differentiate your product or service in a memorable way. Again, step one, find a product that you can solve for the world that the world is willing to pay.

The world is willing to pay you to solve. Don’t skip that part, alright? Alright, don’t don’t skip that part. The world may or may not need your new app, right? step two, you want to differentiate your product or service in a way that’s memorable. step three, you want to have a turnkey marketing system. A way where you can generate leads without your direct involvement. You know a new inbound customers. Step four, you got to have a proven sales system. Now, sales sysTem is where somebody goes from, marketing generates leads, but a sales system is where someone actually pays you, right? Step five, you must have your human resources component. Figure it out. You must have your systems. You must have your systems in place and they must be repeatable. I repeat your systems. You must have your systems in place and they must be repeatable.

Why don’t you have to be repeatable? Because if you’d held company, that’s good, that’s good at marketing and good at differentiating itself and good selling something. Now someone else’s is going to have to do the work. Unless you want to do all the work. RIght? Okay. Step six, you have to have. You have to have a mastery of a county. You can’t just not pay taxes. A lot of entrepreneurs just kinda like, man, forget that will pay taxes. That’s the six steps, right? That’s how you do it. Now at our conference, we get into much more elaborate. It’s 13 step process. We get much more into the details of these things, but if you’re out there and you know you want to buy a business model that creates time freedom and financial freedom for you for less than $60,000 a well, I would recommend that you would look out and look into a buying an oxi fresh franchise.

Well, can you share with us a little bit about what is oxi fresh carpet cleaning and what is your role with our, with oxifresh carpet cleaning?

Absolutely. Absolutely. So, um, I’m matt klein. I had been with for about five years in the development role. So I take individuals through the process of knowing nothing about our business and then eventually through conversations and discovery processes, we bring them out here to become an a franchisee and really take this franchise brand to the next level. I’ve been doing that for about five years. I also have invested personally my own funds and becoming a franchisee and I’ve done that for about two years. So I do both.

And the reason I’ve been able to do that is because oxi fresh, it’s very unique ability to grow and scale without taking all the time from my day. No, this is my probably my rude question. Number one, and then dr. Z dot can, can ask his rude questions. This is mine. I, there’s so many business owners out there that I’ve met who’ve been working for over a decade trying to get their business model to be profitable. He’s on a jet with single ladies that are showing cleavage on a private jet talking about books, highly doubtful that a single man is going to be on a jet with three single women who are showing cleavage. They’re going to be talking about business books and let’s just say you’re. You say, okay, I’m not going to listen to that youtube charlatan. I’m not going to go to that conference. I’m not gonna.
