(Speaker 1)
Gentlemen, let me introduce you to the grill gun. I would have green that anyway. I need that. One of the gentlemen names Bob Healy came to our

(Speaker 2)
conference with a quasi functional prototype. He had terminal cancer. And Bob came to me and said,

(Speaker 10)
help me. Entrepreneur Clay Clark has built several multi-million dollar businesses. Now he helps budding entrepreneurs like Bob turbocharged their ideas with a 14

(Speaker 1)
step plan. And a grillblazer.com is now a massively successful company that’s becoming a household name in many American homes. In this episode we dive

(Speaker 10)
into how to rebuild American small businesses and industrial capacity.

(Speaker 2)
You never want to outsource your core competency. We have to import certain technology from countries that hate us to make military weapons to defend us. That doesn’t even make sense.

(Speaker 29)
This is American Thought Leaders, and I’m Jan Jekielek.

(Speaker 3)
Gosh, man, time flies. I’d say right around four or five years ago, I just kind of felt like we were stuck and my wheels weren’t moving and I had this goal and I just didn’t really know how to get there. So you guys actually helped me with that.

(Speaker 3)
And I reached out to you guys, we started our relationship, we started our coaching sessions and you guys helped me build a lot of the systems that we have now. But you know, Clay, had I not actually sat down and took the time and the energy to reach out to you and then set aside time every single week to actually work on the specific goal

(Speaker 3)
of scaling Window Ninjas, then it would have never happened and we wouldn’t have the, it wouldn’t have come to fruition like it is today.

(Speaker 2)
Gabe Salinas, welcome on to The Thrived Time Show. How are you, sir?

(Speaker 3)
I am wonderful, Clay. I’m glad to be here with you today.

(Speaker 2)
And just to give people a little context, how long have we worked with you in your business, sir?

(Speaker 3)
A little over three years, Clay.

(Speaker 2)
We’ve been together for a little bit of a journey now. And I think we picked the best of times and the worst of times to work together. I mean, it’s like right at the peak of the geopolitical craziness. That’s when we started working with you, but you’ve continued to grow. What kind of growth have you seen over these past three years?

(Speaker 2)
Just so the listeners know that you do have, in fact, a business that can navigate through difficult times.

(Speaker 3)
Well, we have over doubled our business here at Winter Ninja since working with you. I actually went back and looked through our numbers and I looked at some of our goals that we had set in the original conversation that I had with your team and we have surpassed my original number that I wanted to hit with you guys and I was quite shocked at how, I won’t say easy, but systematic it was for us to be able to get to where we wanted to be.

(Speaker 2)
All right Thrive Nation on today’s show I want to introduce you to a real entrepreneur. I’ve had the opportunity to work with this man for years and I’ve watched him transform, to go from an idea, to a logo, to a business, to a website, to 11 locations. His business isn’t just surviving, it is thriving.

(Speaker 2)
So much so that he’s now franchising. Gabe Salinas, welcome on to the Thrive Time Show. How are you, sir?

(Speaker 3)
I’m great, Clay. Thanks for having me.

(Speaker 2)
Good to see you. So Gabe, I want to ask you here, I got five questions for you coming in hot. First, what does it mean if somebody wants to buy a franchise? What does that mean? If someone says, I want to buy a franchise, I perceive it to mean, and I’ve worked in the franchise space for a long time, so for me it means I am going to be buying a, I’m buying into a brand.

(Speaker 2)
I’m buying a proven system, and then you, as the franchisor, you’re going to make a percentage of the growth as a result of you allowing me to use your system. That’s how I look at it, is I’m’m buying into your brand and then you are making a percentage of what I make because you’re letting me use your proven system. But how would you describe what it means to become a franchise owner?

(Speaker 3)
To become a franchise owner man it means partnership. It means a relationship. It means I’ve got your back. That’s what that’s what franchise means to relationship. It means I’ve got your back. That’s what franchise means to me. I mean, in my world, when we bring franchises on over here at Window Ninjas, it is definitely a partnership deal. I mean, we’ve got their back.

(Speaker 3)
They’ve got our back, man. It’s a win-win for us and them, which is exactly how any great franchise should be. Now, for anybody out there that says,

(Speaker 2)
what does it cost to buy a franchise? What does it cost if I want to go to windowninjas.com and buy a windowninjas.com franchise?

(Speaker 3)
Well, the costs vary. I mean, we can spend, I mean, I’ve seen guys spend as little as $150k up to almost 200k. Right on average, it’s somewhere between there. You got a franchise fee, you’ve got a truck that has to be purchased, you’ve got a build out that needs to be done, equipment, things of that nature, marketing money needs to be, you know, budgeted for. So yeah, I mean, all in, you’re less than 200K, I’d say somewhere right around 175 is typically where people typically land.

(Speaker 3)
And yeah, I mean, and you get the full system. Not only are you gonna get the awesome trucks, the awesome equipment, all the cool tools, all the cool swag, all the gear, man, you’re gonna get a territory that’s yours in an area that is hopefully in your backyard,

(Speaker 3)
or maybe you wanna go to Bahamas or something. I don’t know, we can put one there too. But you get the territory rights to your location. Like I said, you get the full system. You get our call center. You get access to myself.

(Speaker 3)
I mean, you have my whole leadership team. I mean, with us, you’re getting like the big burrito, the full big meaty burrito.

(Speaker 2)
And you already answered this a little bit, but I want to come back to it. Why would anybody want to buy a franchise from you as opposed to just opening up their own business? I mean, I think there’s so many reasons as to why somebody would want to buy a franchise from you because you have a proven system at windowninjas.com.

(Speaker 2)
But for everybody out there that’s maybe thinking about what is the value that you offer with a windowninjas.com, why would someone want to buy a windowninjas.com franchise as opposed

(Speaker 1)
to just opening their own window cleaning business?

(Speaker 3)
Mistakes, and they don’t have to. That’s the number one thing. It actually is going to save you money to pay for a franchise fee, get your territory, purchase the whole system, get the coaching, get the mentorship, get the training, get the full access to me, my leadership team, as well as the call center. We’re answering all of the phone calls for them. I mean, you just don’t have to reinvent the wheel. We just take the scalable system that we have

(Speaker 3)
and we put it in your backyard, wherever your home place may be. And you just basically turn it on like you would turn a car. You just flip that key switch over, man, and boom, you got your marketing plans already set and done. You’ve got your logos, everything’s already done.

(Speaker 3)
You’ve got all of the clothing and gear, equipment that’s tried and tested. I mean, every single thing you don’t have to reinvent and that saves a lot of time. And you know what? I’m the one that’s already spent all the money testing

(Speaker 3)
and seeing what products work well, what products didn’t work well, what marketing systems work well, what didn’t work well. So yeah, it’s just, it’s gonna save so much more money. Plus you got somebody in your corner, right? Helping you every single day. You got a problem, you can reach out directly to me

(Speaker 3)
or one of my leadership team members and we can walk you through how to do ABC or XYZ, whatever it is, or whatever issue you may be having with or you know or struggle. Maybe you’re trying to think about some different type of marketing over here. You could always ask us,

(Speaker 3)
hey, have you ever tried this? And nine times out of 10, when a franchisee asks us that, the answer has been, yes, it has, and it either worked and you should do that, or it didn’t work and you don’t need to do that. So that’s a huge benefit.

(Speaker 3)
That’s a huge benefit. That’s a huge benefit when people are looking to a franchise. They just get to save so much money and avoid all these like landmines that are out there in the business world.

(Speaker 1)
What’s the onboarding process look like if somebody is looking to become a business franchise owner, they’re looking to become a business franchise owner. What does the process look like if somebody wants to learn about teaming up with you?

(Speaker 3)
Well, if they want to learn, it’s pretty simple. You can go to our website, check everything out on our Window Ninjas franchising page. You can have one-on-ones with me, again, any of my leadership team as well. We have a couple of guys that work for us on our sales team, they’ll walk you through the whole process. And yeah, I mean, I’m always accessible to our franchisees. If they wanna have a conversation with me,

(Speaker 3)
if they wanna talk, they wanna work through any questions, even if it’s just a lead and they’re not a franchisee, as far as me, it’s just the communication that we provide our prospects as well as our franchisees and even all of our employees. It’s just true transparency.

(Speaker 3)
We just solve problems every single day for people. Maybe they’re struggling with how to do better marketing or hey, maybe the equipment just doesn’t seem to be working quite right for them or they’re running into a unique situation. And that’s the cool thing about franchising is you just have somebody in your back pocket that you can reach out to all the time and they can help you. And man, I wish I would have had that when I first started this years and years and years

(Speaker 3)
ago, Clay, because man, there was plenty of mistakes that we made because we just didn’t have anybody to help us.

(Speaker 2)
Now what’s a day look like in the life of a window ninjas dot-com franchise owner? Somebody buys a window ninjas dot-com franchise. What is it gonna, what are they signing up for? Well that’s a great

(Speaker 3)
question man because I always start off the the process of talking to somebody who wants to buy a franchise as to what exactly do they want their life to look like? What do they want their days to look like? I have some guys, Clay, that say, hey man, I wanna work half a day and only half a day, and I wanna have somebody that runs my operation for me. Okay, cool, no problem.

(Speaker 3)
We can make your life look like that. I have other guys that are like, man, I’m a go-getter. I just wanna be out there working all day long. I wanna have three trucks. I want to have six employees. I want to be the guy selling. I want to go do quotes all day long. I want to go knock on doors all day long while my guys are out there cleaning glass

(Speaker 3)
and making it shine brighter than diamonds. And I’m like, okay, cool. I can make that happen for you too. You know, and like me, I mean, I like working quite a bit, but you know, I also like to go take time with my kids. And so yeah, I schedule off probably about a week every other month or every three months to go either spend time with my kids, go take my wife out on a vacation, just me and her

(Speaker 3)
going to go hang out and do whatever. But yeah, I’ll work Monday through Saturday and I might put 10, 12 hours in a day because that’s what I want to do. But when I want to go take a vacation, I’m gonna go take my vacation. If I don’t wanna come in on Fridays, I’m not gonna come in on Fridays. But that’s the way I want my life to look like.

(Speaker 3)
So it always comes back down to what is it that that franchisee wants his life to look like? What does he want to do? Does he wanna put in the hard work in the beginning, get his business up and running It’s running with him, or does he want it running without him? And so there’s so many different options.

(Speaker 3)
And so yeah, whatever a client’s needs are and whatever their vision of what they want their life to look like, man, that’s what we’re aiming for. That’s what we want to see happen.

(Speaker 2)
And I’ve seen firsthand, having worked with you over the years from a consulting level, I’ve seen you grow this company. This is a fast growth company. I’ve watched you. You and I first connected years ago and you were looking to build out a lot of systems to scale this brand. You knew exactly where you were going. You had the name of the company. You had a vision. You knew what you were doing and you just wanted to

(Speaker 2)
build out those systems. And I’ve seen the growth. I mean you’ve grown from a location to 11 locations during a very limited time. Talk about the growth of windowninjas.com from the time you started it until now. I mean, what kind of growth have you had from the time you’ve started it to now? Has it been five years, six years?

(Speaker 2)
Walk us through that growth a little bit because this is a fast growing business.

(Speaker 3)
Yeah, I mean, Window Ninjas has been operational for I think we’re in our sixth year, seventh year now. And we’ve only been franchising for three years. So the last I’m sorry, two years, we’ve we’ve been franchising. And so over the last two years, we’ve really grown tremendously, but we definitely had some locations on we brought like, I think we had four or five

(Speaker 3)
locations when we first started. We grew pretty quickly and then we decided to get into the franchising game and grow even more. We literally just did a soft launch on our newest location, which is in Savannah, Georgia, which is a fricking big win for us.

(Speaker 3)
And we’ve got more leads in the pipeline, people that are wanting to join up and be part of our team. So yeah, I mean, yeah, we are a fast growing company. We are a very service minded company. We bring people on to work for us in our call center, in our accounting department, in our

(Speaker 3)
leadership teams. We bring people in that are just great people that really enjoy making people happy, solving customers problems. You know, typically their problems are their windows are dirty or their houses are dirty or something needs to be cleaned up

(Speaker 3)
and they just don’t have time to do it. So they call on us. And so we’re very responsive. We always answer our phone calls live. Like I said, we got a call center here that just takes all of the inbound calls

(Speaker 3)
for all of our locations. They facilitate the customer’s needs. They get the jobs on the books. And man, it’s just a win-win situation all the way around for us. And we’ve continually grown and scaled and turned this thing

(Speaker 3)
into a money-making machine that really provides great opportunities for all of our employees, all of our franchisees, and all of the customers that we serve. It’s pretty special over here, Clay. We’ve done a, I’m pretty proud of what we’ve achieved over here at Window Ninjas in the past seven years.

(Speaker 3)
And man, I really look forward to the next seven because it’s gonna, if it’s anything like the first seven, man, it’s gonna be, it’s gonna be freaking awesome.

(Speaker 1)
Now, final 60 seconds for you. mind, go on over there to window ninjas.com and look into buying a window ninjas.com franchise.

(Speaker 3)
Well, anybody with a sound mind and wants to have a business and make money is definitely going to benefit from reaching out to us over here at window ninjas. We’ve got the systems to prove it. We’ve got the franchises to prove it. We’ve got the scalability locked down. We’ve got the marketing turnkey.

(Speaker 3)
We have great vendors. we have great suppliers. We are just a great opportunity for the right person to come in, take our system, put it in their backyard and man, have the life that they, they can live the life that they want as a business owner, as a husband or a wife, got kids,

(Speaker 3)
man, it’s just a great opportunity. There’s a lot of freedom in what we do. And that’s why a lot of people have really come over to Winnow Ninjas and joined us and really wanted to be a team because they started to see

(Speaker 3)
that we have a lot of time freedom. We have a lot of financial freedom and we live the lives that we want to live in conjunction with performing these great services and making our customers super happy. So yeah, it’s a win-win all the way around.

(Speaker 3)
Our customers win, our franchisees win. Hey, I’m winning too, man, and I love it. It’s just great to be over here doing what we do.

(Speaker 2)
Gabe Salinas, windowowNinjas.com. I encourage everyone to check out the website, WindowNinjas.com. Gabe, I really do appreciate you. It’s an honor to serve you, and I can’t wait to talk to you next week.

(Speaker 17)
Thank you. This is a great show. I’m gonna be talking to you about how to get a little bit of a kick in the butt.

(Speaker 15)
I’m gonna be talking to you about This nozzle on the top you slightly turn like almost nothing so a little bit of the gas starts coming out and then you press the trigger. You can either turn the nozzle on the top to have more power and this one here is a full power trigger. Basically madness. Push it down and yeah. It is a lot of fun. Check it out!

(Speaker 28)
You’re gonna super cool that? I will.

(Speaker 16)
Oh yeah!

(Speaker 13)
I’m Bob Healy and I’m originally from Tulsa, Palm Beach. I’m in the charcoal grilling industry and the name of my business is Grillblazer. How will I apply what I’ve learned so far into my business? I’m actually a client of the Rite 15 and I learned so much from what I’m learning at this conference and from my regular weekly attendance that it’s helping me establish the business and get it off the ground. Everything that you see is authentically clay. It’s a great deal of fun.

(Speaker 13)
Everybody enjoys it. They know when you walk in they think they’re coming in to a carnival and frankly they are. It’s just great fun. There’s not another conference like it. You just don’t go to a carnival atmosphere and learn like you do here at a Thrive Conference.

(Speaker 27)
It’s great.

(Speaker 13)
The reason people should attend at least one of these conferences is because it’s common sense. And everybody’s fed an entire line about the way you should run a business, but until you actually experience running a business,

(Speaker 13)
which is, candidlyly what you learn here, how to run a business. You don’t know what you’re doing.

(Speaker 7)
I started a business because I couldn’t work for anyone else. I do things my way. I do what I think is in the best interest of the patient. I don’t answer to insurance companies. I don’t answer to large corporate organizations. I answer to my patient and that’s it. My thought when I opened my clinic was I can do this all myself. I don’t need additional outside help in many ways.

(Speaker 7)
I mean I went to medical school, I can figure this out. But it was a very, very steep learning curve. Within the first six months of opening my clinic, I had a $63,000 embezzlement. I lost multiple employees. Clay helped us weather the storm of some of the things that are just a lot of people experience, especially in the medical world.

(Speaker 7)
He was instrumental in helping with the specific written business plan. He’s been instrumental in hiring good quality employees, using the processes that he outlines for getting in good talent, which is extremely difficult. He helped me in securing the business loans. He helped me with web development and search

(Speaker 7)
engine optimization. We’ve been able to really keep a steady stream of clients coming in because they found us on the web. With everything that I encountered, everything that I experienced. I quickly learned it is worth every penny to have someone in your team that can walk you through and even avoid some of the pitfalls that are almost invariable in starting your own business. I’m Dr. Chad Edwards and I own Revolution Health and Wellness Clinic.

(Speaker 5)
Hi, my name is Tim Johnson. I’m the owner of Tuscaloosa Ophthalmology, as well as Southern Eye Consultants, two ophthalmology practices in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. And I’m a client of Clay Clark. He asked me to answer a couple of questions. The first question was, how did I hear about Clay Clark?

(Speaker 5)
I am a big fan of business podcasts and his podcast popped up as a recommended listening so I started listening to the podcast. I was a little suspicious or skeptical because I thought there was gonna be like an upcharge or an upsell but the idea of the month-to-month cancellling really appealed to me. And I kept waiting for the shoe to drop

(Speaker 5)
and for the upsell or for the scam to come in, but it never did. It’s very legitimate. Since working with Clay, I’ve gotten a much firmer grasp on how business works, even in medicine, business is business.

(Speaker 5)
I’ve learned a lot about marketing, especially how Google reviews work and how important that is. That’s very important even in medicine. At least once a week, if not every day, I get a new patient because somebody Googled eye doctor in Tuscaloosa or ophthalmologist in Tuscaloosa and you’d be amazed how many patients just look for an eye doctor that way. And so he’s really changed our business.

(Speaker 5)
Our business has grown a lot, maybe 15 to 20% this year. And so we’re really grateful for the things he’s done for our business. And the last question was, when did I perfect the laugh? I would say that you can never perfect the laugh, you just keep working at it. And it just keeps getting better and better each day, but you gotta keep working at it.

(Speaker 12)
Play, my honor, my honor to be on your show. And thank you for all you do. I hear the ripple effects from you are good

(Speaker 2)
ripple effects. You know I mean people rave about what they learn from you. So congratulations. I heard about it on the podcast.

(Speaker 8)
Started listening to the podcast became a fan and then figured out about the workshop. I own an insurance and financial services agency and I was hoping to learn from the workshop systems and processes. I’m big on systems and processes and always learning better ways to run a business more efficiently. The atmosphere is second to none. It’s a high energy, really cool atmosphere to be around. Contagious, I would say. Just something every entrepreneur, I think, would appreciate and love. I’d say humorous, high energy, and full of substance,

(Speaker 8)
which I think is the key. A lot of business coaches or seminars maybe are high on motivation and making you feel good, but don’t have a lot of substance that you can take back and implement the following Monday, where his does. Man, there’s a lot of valuable things. I’m gonna say, I came to this, this is my second workshop.

(Speaker 8)
The first workshop I took back really the importance of a group interview. I used to spend hours and hours interviewing people, screening resumes, and that saving my time on that part is valuable. It was that and then the sales scripting that have been two major things just so far. Man, I think they’re missing out on expert advice from somebody who’s been there, done

(Speaker 8)
that, built companies, has learned a lot of lessons. That’s what I’m always looking for is somebody that I can learn from that’s ahead of where I am. And I think if you choose not to come, you’re missing out on a lot of good advice that could help your business.

(Speaker 1)
Hi, I’m Aaron Antus with Shaw Homes. I first heard about Clay through a mortgage lender here in town who had told me what a great job he had been doing for them. And I actually noticed he was driving a Lamborghini all of a sudden, so I was willing to listen. In my career, I’ve sold a little over $800 million

(Speaker 1)
in real estate. So honestly I thought I kind of knew everything about marketing and homes and then I met Clay and my perception of what I knew and what I could do definitely changed. After doing 800 million in sales over a 15-year career, I really thought I knew what I was doing. I’ve been managing a large team of salespeople for the last 10 years

(Speaker 1)
here with Shaw Homes. And, I mean, we’ve been a company that’s been in business for 35 years. We’ve become one of the largest builders in the Tulsa area, and that was without Clay. So when I came to know Clay I really thought, man there’s not much more I need to know but

(Speaker 1)
I’m willing to listen. The interesting thing is our internet leads from our website has actually in a four month period of time has gone from somewhere around 10 to 15 leads in a month to 180 internet leads in a month. Just from the few things that he’s shown us how to implement that I honestly probably never would have come up with on my own. So I got a lot of good things to say about the system that Clay put in place with us

(Speaker 1)
and it’s just been an incredible experience. I am very glad that we met and had the opportunity to work with Clay. So the interaction with the team and with Clay on a weekly basis is honestly very enlightening. One of the things that I love about Clay’s perspective

(Speaker 1)
on things is that he doesn’t come from my industry. He’s not somebody who’s in the home building industry. I’ve listened to all the experts in my field. Our company has paid for me to go to seminars, international builder shows, all kinds of places where I’ve had the opportunity to learn from the experts in my industry. but the thing that I found working with Clay is that he comes from such a broad spectrum of working with so many different types of businesses that he has a perspective that’s difficult for

(Speaker 1)
me to gain because I get so entrenched in what I do I’m not paying attention to what other leading industry experts are doing and Clay really brings that perspective for me. It is very valuable time every week when I get that hour with him. From my perspective, the reason that any business owner who’s thinking about hooking up with Thrive needs to definitely consider it is because the results that we’ve gotten in a

(Speaker 1)
very short period of time are honestly monumental. It has really exceeded my wildest expectation of what he might be able to do. I came in skeptical because I’m very pragmatic, and as I’ve gone through the process over just a few months, I’ve realized it’s probably one of the best moves we’ve ever made. I think a lot of people probably feel like they don’t need a

(Speaker 1)
business or marketing consultant because they maybe are a little bit prideful and like to think they know everything. I know that’s how I felt coming in. I mean, we’re a big company. That’s definitely one of the largest in town. And so we kind of felt like we knew what we were doing.

(Speaker 1)
And I think for a lot of people, they let their ego get in the way of listening to somebody that might have a better or different perspective than theirs. I would just really encourage you, if you’re thinking about working with Clay, I mean, the thing is, it’s month to month. Go give it a try and see what happens. I think in the 35 year history of Shaw Homes, this is probably the best thing that’s happened

(Speaker 1)
to us. And I know if you give them a shot, I think you’ll feel the same way. I know for me, the thing I would have missed out on if I didn’t work with Clay is I would have missed out on literally an 1800% increase in our internet leads. Going from 10 a month to 180 a month, that would have been a huge financial decision to just decide not to give it a shot.

(Speaker 1)
I would absolutely recommend Clay Clark to anybody who’s thinking about working with somebody in marketing. I would skip over anybody else you were thinking about and I would go straight to Clay and his team. I guarantee you’re not going to regret it because we sure haven’t.

(Speaker 6)
My name is Danielle Sprick and I am the founder of D. Sprick Realty Group here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After being a stay-at-home mom for 12 years and my three kids started school and they were in school full-time, I was at a crossroads and trying to decide what do I want to do. My degree and my background is in education, but after being a mom and staying home and all of that, I just didn’t have a passion for it like I once did. My husband suggested real estate.

(Speaker 6)
He’s a home builder, so real estate and home building go hand in hand, and we just rolled with it. I love people. I love working with people. I love the building relationships. But one thing that was really difficult for me was the business side of things. The processes and the advertising and marketing. I knew that I did not have what I needed to make that what it should be. So I reached out to Clay at that time,

(Speaker 6)
and he and his team have been extremely instrumental in helping us build our brand, help market our business, our agents, the homes that we represent. Everything that we do is a direct line from Clay and his team and all that they’ve done for us.

(Speaker 6)
We launched our brokerage, our real estate brokerage, eight months ago. And in that time, we’ve gone from myself and one other agent to just this week, we signed on our 16th agent. We have been blessed with the fact that we right now have just over 10 million in pending transactions. Three years ago I never would have even imagined that I would be in this role that I’m in today building a business having 16 agents. But I have to give credit where credit’s due. And

(Speaker 6)
Clay and his team and the business coaching that they’ve offered us has been huge. It’s been instrumental in what we’re doing. Don’t ever limit your vision. When you dream big, big things happen. I started a business because I couldn’t

(Speaker 7)
work for anyone else. I do things my way. I do what I think is in the best interest of the patient. I don’t answer to insurance companies. I don’t answer to large corporate organizations. I answer to my patient, and that’s it. My thought when I opened my clinic was I can do this all myself. I don’t need additional outside help in many ways.

(Speaker 7)
I mean, I went to medical school. I can figure this out. But it was a very, very steep learning curve. Within the first six months of opening my clinic I had a $63,000 investment. I lost multiple employees. Clay helped us weather the storm of some of the things that are just a lot of people experience, especially in the medical world. He was instrumental in helping with the specific written business plan. He’s been

(Speaker 7)
instrumental in hiring good quality employees, using the processes that he outlines for getting in good talent, which is extremely difficult. He helped me in securing the business loans. He helped me with web development and search engine optimization. We’ve been able to really keep a steady stream of clients coming in

(Speaker 7)
because they found us on the web. With everything that I encountered, everything that I experienced, I quickly learned it is worth every penny to have someone in your team that can walk you through and even avoid some of the pitfalls that are almost invariable in starting your own business. I’m Dr. Chad Edwards and I own Revolution Health and Wellness Clinic.

(Speaker 12)
Clay, my honor, my honor to be on your show and thank you for all you do. I hear the ripple effects from you are good ripple effects. You know what I mean? People rave about what they learn from you. So congratulations.

(Speaker 10)
We went from expecting maybe 250,000 this year to we’re at $400,000. Hi, I’m Kelsey with K&D’s Woodfinishing. I’m a business owner at 23. So I’ve been working this K&D’s company for about five years now. And we started working with Thrive not too long ago. And we went from expecting maybe $250,000 this year to we’re at $400,000.

(Speaker 10)
That’s what we’re gonna hit or exceed. So we’re pretty excited about that. It’s been pretty much just listening to what they have to say. Their hiring process has just really been incredible as far as finding good quality help and the just the accountability of meeting up with them weekly and like such good insight the resources they have for specific business questions it’s all been really incredible it’s been a great experience

(Speaker 18)
so I’d recommend it to anybody. What I’ve seen from Clay and his group at Thrive is they’ll give you a simple system and it’s the simple systems are the ones that people can wrap their brain around. They’re the ones that people can work with on a day-to-day basis.

(Speaker 4)
Hi there my name is Stephanie Pipkin. I am 24 years old and I own Black River Falls Cleaning Services. We opened in April of 2019 and it is now mid-June of 2020. So I wanted to talk today about the success and growth I have achieved by implementing the Proven Path with Clay Clark’s team and my business coach Luke from Thrive Time. It has been insane to say the least. I started working with them in mid-February of this year, so we’re about four months in of working together and it has completely

(Speaker 4)
transformed my business in pretty much every facet. So I’m gonna check my notes here. So in four months my leads have tripled. I was getting probably like two leads a week, now I’m getting more in the like 10 to 15 leads a week. I was getting probably like two leads a week, now I’m getting more in the like 10 to 15 leads a week. I have doubled my number of employees. I’m now hitting the highest revenue weeks in the history of the company, week to week it seems like. We went from about six appointments today as our highest in

(Speaker 4)
February to now 14 to 15 appointments a day. And hiring quality employees has become much simpler and less stressful by using their systems for hiring. I typically only get maybe two complaints a month if that and everybody shows up to work. I just have really high quality employees now, especially in something people typically consider a high turnover type of work. I just have really high quality employees now, especially in something people typically consider a high turnover type of work, you know, cleaning houses, cleaning businesses. I have amazing employees now and I get rid of the ones who are not so amazing and bring on new ones because of, you know, group interviews and interviewing every single week. It’s just been

(Speaker 4)
great and I don’t waste as much time on low quality candidates anymore. Your coach will hold you accountable, which I love. Again, the tough love is really great. Luke’s like a stern father figure, but he’s also nice, but also stern when he needs to be when I’m being lazy and not doing the things that I know I need to do because I don’t want to do them.

(Speaker 4)
So that’s just great. Worth every penny. I mean, I’d pay him a million dollars a month if I can and maybe someday I’ll be able to. But I would just say go for it. If it seems like a good fit, just go for it. Do what they say, even if you think it’s stupid or ridiculous, just do what they say because it’ll work. You know, people, when they look at my business, you know, people in my town, they think I’m lucky. They think I’m just, you know, things just happen for me.

(Speaker 4)
And you know, maybe I am lucky, but it has a lot to do with hard work and, you know, perseverance and, you know, working till you cry sometimes. That’s just being an entrepreneur, which if you’re a place of, you know, of course I’m going to be successful. It’s an absolute, because I have all this stuff in the background happening. And I have Luke and Clay and everybody on their team working really hard to make sure that I’m a success. And I can tell that they are just so excited every single week when I’m having all these wins and things like that.

(Speaker 4)
They’re so excited for me So it just it’s the best thing ever and I would suggest to anybody to work with them So sorry for the long-winded reply But I just had so much to say and I could go on for hours probably about how amazing they are But thank you to clay and Luke and the entire team there everything you guys have done for me And I am so excited to continue to work with you for years to come. Thanks so much for watching.

(Speaker 12)
My saying is if it’s important to you, hire a coach. And I think that’s one of the reasons people are not successful is they, you know, they eat a cheeseburger instead of hiring a coach, you know what I mean? And so my coach pushes me, they’re younger than me they push harder they’re trained and as my rich dad always said you know amateurs don’t have a coach but professionals always have coaches so I’ve always had coaches

(Speaker 12)
for whatever is important you my rich dad was one of those persons. But Clay Clark, man, he is one character.

(Speaker 8)
That’s a good word for character. Yeah, that is it.

(Speaker 12)
Good, driven, smart. And I’ve never met a guy who was so hyper all the time. He’s doing so much good. And then I met his mother and she just says, she just lets him be Clay Clark. I mean, so he’s endorsed by his mother

(Speaker 12)
and he’s doing magnificent work. So it was great meeting you out there and all the people that he surrounds himself with. His Clay Clark starts his days at five o’clock in the morning.

(Speaker 26)
Oh, it’s incredible.

(Speaker 1)
Yeah, he’s like, he’s a machine, he’s a machine.

(Speaker 12)
But his, you know, I have problems with my company starting at nine o’clock. He has hundreds of people showing up at 5 a.m. in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Man, he’s a leader of a leader. He’s a fantastic young man.

(Speaker 9)
My name is Kevin Thomas and the name of our company is MultiClean. We are a commercial janitorial service and we serve the entire state of Oklahoma and Kansas and soon to be Arkansas. We have probably grown probably five times.

(Speaker 9)
We’ve added, I think when we first started with you, we had 60 to 65 employees, and now we have a little over 300 employees. Before we got involved with Thrive Time, we didn’t really have any systems or processes in place. I’ve probably been to, oh, in six, seven years,

(Speaker 9)
I’ve probably been to 12 to 13 business conferences. And amazingly, each time I go, I learn something new. And I’m so excited to bring it back and show the team about marketing and how to implement.

(Speaker 2)
OK, Aaron Antis, September 25 and 26, guess who’s coming back to Tulsa? I will give you a hint. His first name is Eric and his last name is Trump. And his father is the 47th president of these United States. Yes, Eric Trump is joining us once again here September 25th and 26th in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the two-day interactive Thrive Time Show Business Growth Workshop.

(Speaker 2)
But Eric Trump is bringing friends. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Alina Haba will be joining Eric Trump right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Amanda Grace will be in the place. Dr. Stella Emanuel will be here in T-Town in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Julie Green will be on the scene. Mel K will

(Speaker 2)
be here to say hey. Dave Scarlett from the His Glory team will be here. It’s going to be a blasty blast right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. If you want to start or grow a super successful company, if you want to make your wallet great again or make your wallet great for the first time, if you want to learn marketing, systems, scaling, human resources, accounting, social media, branding, search engine optimization, sales training, financial management, and more, get your tickets right now

(Speaker 2)
at thrivetimeshow.com. Once again, that’s thrivetimeshow.com. A lot of people don’t know this, but the Trump Organization has thousands of employees. There’s not 50 employees. The Trump Organization, again, most people don’t know this, but the Trump organization has thousands of employees. And while Donald J. Trump was the

(Speaker 2)
45th president of these United States, he needed a competent man to run and execute his business plans. So the man that runs the Trump organization for Donald J. Trump as he was the 45th president of the United States and now the 47th president of the United States, and now the 47th president of the United States, is Eric Trump. So Eric Trump is here to talk about time management, promoting from within, marketing, branding, quality

(Speaker 2)
control, sales systems, workflow design, workflow mapping, how to build. I mean, everything that you see, the Trump hotels, the Trump golf courses, all their products, the man who manages billions of dollars of real estate and thousands of employees is here to teach us how to do it.

(Speaker 2)
You are talking about one of the greatest brands on the planet from a business standpoint. I mean, who else has been able to create a brand like the Trump brand? I mean, look at it. And this is the man behind the business for the last,

(Speaker 2)
pretty much since 2015, he’s been the man behind it. So you’re talking, we’re into nine, going into 10 years of him running it. And we get to tap into that knowledge.

(Speaker 1)
That’s going to be amazing.

(Speaker 2)
Now think about this for a second.

(Speaker 12)
But Clay Clark, man, he is one character.

(Speaker 8)
That’s a good word for him one character. It’s a good word for a character. Yeah, that is it.

(Speaker 12)
Good, driven, smart. And I’ve never met a guy who was so hyper all the time. He’s doing so much good. And then I met his mother. And she just says, she just lets him be Clay Clark. I mean, so he’s endorsed by his mother and he’s doing magnificent work. So it was great meeting you out there and all the people that he surrounds himself with. His Clay Clark starts his days

(Speaker 12)
at five o’clock in the morning.

(Speaker 26)
Oh, it’s incredible.

(Speaker 1)
Yeah, he’s a machine, he’s a machine.

(Speaker 12)
But his, I have problems with my company starting at nine o’clock. Yes, hundreds of people showing up at 5 a.m. in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Man, he’s a leader of a leader. He’s a fantastic young man.

(Speaker 26)
No, he is.

(Speaker 2)
The lineup continues to grow and this is how we do our tickets here at the Thrive Time Show. If you wanna get a VIP ticket, you can absolutely do it. It’s $500 for a VIP ticket. We’ve always done it that way.

(Speaker 2)
Now, if you want to take a general admission ticket, it’s $250 or whatever price you want to pay. And the reason why I do that and the reason why we do that is because we want to make our events affordable for everybody. to understand what it’s like to be the tight spot. So if you want to attend, it’s $250 or whatever price you want to pay. That’s how I do it.

(Speaker 2)
And it’s $500 for a VIP ticket. Now, we only have limited seating here. The most people we’ve ever had in this building was for the Jim Brewer presentation. Jim Brewer came here. The legendary comedian Jim Brewer came to Tulsa.

(Speaker 2)
And we had 419 people that were here. 419 people. Yeah. And I thought to myself, there’s no more room. I felt kind of bad that a couple people had VIP seats in the men’s restroom. Oh, no, I’m just kidding. But I felt, so I thought, you know what? We should probably add on.

(Speaker 24)
Clay Clark is here somewhere. Where’s my buddy Clay?

(Speaker 16)
Yes, Clay Clark! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

(Speaker 24)
Yeah! Clay’s the greatest. I met his goats today, I met his dogs, I met his chickens, I saw his compound. He’s like the greatest guy.

(Speaker 25)
I ran from his goats, his chickens, his dogs.

(Speaker 24)
So this guy’s like the greatest marketer you’ve ever seen, right? His entire life, Clay Clark, his entire life is marketing.

(Speaker 1)
So again, if you want to get tickets for this event, all you have to do is go to Thrivetimeshowcom. Go to ThriveTimeShow.com. When you go to ThriveTimeShow.com, you’ll go there.

(Speaker 2)
You’ll request a ticket.

(Speaker 23)
Boom.

(Speaker 1)
Or if you want to text me, if you want a little bit faster service, you say, I want you to call me right now. Just text my number. That’s my cell phone number. My personal cell phone number it’s 9 1 8 8 5 1 0 1 0 2 9 1 8 8 5 1 0 1 0 2 I know we have a lot of the Spanish-speaking people that attend these conferences and

(Speaker 1)
so to be bilingually sensitive my cell phone number is 9 1 8 8 5 1 0 1 0 2 that’s not actually bilingual that’s just saying one’s not the same thing. I think you’re attacking me. Now, let’s talk about this. Now, what kind of stuff will you learn at the Thrive Time Show Workshop? So, Aaron, you’ve been to many of these over the past seven, eight years. So, let’s talk about it. I’ll I’ll tee up the thing and

(Speaker 1)
then you tell me what you’re gonna learn here, okay? Okay. Marketing and branding. What are we going to learn about marketing and branding? Oh, yeah. We’re going to dive into, you know, so many people say, oh, you know, I got to get my brand known out there, like the Trump brand. You want to get that brand out there. It’s like, how do I actually make people know what my business is and make it a household name?

(Speaker 1)
You’re going to learn some intricacies of how you can do that. You’re going to learn sales. So many people struggle to sell something. This just in, your business will go to hell if you can’t sell. So we’re going to teach you sales. We’re going to teach you search engine optimization, how to come up top in the search engine results.

(Speaker 1)
We’re going to teach you how to manage people. Aaron, you have managed, no exaggeration, hundreds of people throughout your career and thousands of contractors, and most people struggle with managing people. Why does everybody have to learn how to manage people? Well, because first of all, people are, you either have great people or you have people who suck. And so it can be a challenge. You know, learning how to work with a large group of people and get everybody pulling in the same

(Speaker 1)
direction can be a challenge. But if you have the right systems, you have the right processes, and you’re really good at selecting great ones, and we have a process we teach about how to find great people. When you start with the people who have a great attitude, they’re teachable, they’re driven, all of those things,

(Speaker 1)
then you can get those people

(Speaker 2)
all pulling in the same direction. So we’re gonna teach you branding, marketing,

(Speaker 1)
sales, search engine optimization. We’re going to teach you accounting. We’re going to teach you personal finance, how to manage your finance. We’re going to teach you time management.

(Speaker 1)
How do you manage your time? How do you get more done during a typical day? How do you build an organization if you’re not organized? How do you do organization? How do you build an org chart? Everything that you need to know to start and grow a business will be taught during this two-day interactive business workshop.

(Speaker 1)
Now let me tell you how the format is set up here. And again, folks, this is a two-day interactive 15, think about this, folks, it’s two days. Each day it starts at 7 a.m. and it goes until 5 p.m. So from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. two days, it’s a two-day interactive workshop. The way we do it is we do a 30-minute teaching session, and then we break for 15 minutes

(Speaker 1)
for a question and answer session. So Aaron, what kind of great stuff happens during that 15-minute question and answer session after every teaching session? I actually think it’s the best part about the workshops, because here’s what happens. I’ve been to lots of these things over the years. I’ve paid many thousands of dollars to go to them.

(Speaker 1)
And you go in there and they talk in vague generalities and they’re constantly upselling you for something, trying to get you to buy this thing or that thing or this program or this membership. And you don’t, you leave not getting your very specific questions answered about your business

(Speaker 1)
or your employees or what you’re doing on your marketing. And what’s awesome about this is we literally answer every single question that any person asks. And it’s very specific to what your business is.

(Speaker 2)
And what we do is we allow you as the attendee to write your questions on the whiteboard. And then we literally, as you mentioned, we answer every single question on the whiteboard. And then we take a 15-minute break to stretch. And to make it entertaining when you’re stretching, this is a true story.

(Speaker 2)
When you get up and stretch, you’ll be greeted by mariachis. There’s going to probably be alpaca here, llamas, helicopter rides, a coffee bar, a snow cone. I mean, there’s just you had a crocodile one time. That was pretty interesting.

(Speaker 2)
I should write that down. Sorry for that one guy that we lost.

(Speaker 1)
The crocodile, we duct taped its face.

(Speaker 2)
So that, right, we duct taped.

(Speaker 1)
It was a baby crocodile. And we duct taped. Yeah, duct taped around the mouth so it didn’t bite anybody. But it was really cool passing that thing around.

(Speaker 2)
And I should do that. I should. We have a small petting zoo that will be assembled. It’s going to be great. And then you’re in the company of hundreds of entrepreneurs. So there’s not a lot of people in America today. In fact, there’s less than 10 million people today, according to US Debt Clock, that identify as being self-employed.

(Speaker 2)
So if you have a country with 350 million people, that means you have less than 3% of our population that’s even self-employed. So you only have three out of every 100 people in America that are self-employed to begin with and when Inc magazine reports that 96% of businesses fail by default By default you have a one out of a thousand chance of succeeding in the game of business

(Speaker 2)
But yet the average client that you and I work with we can typically double this. I’m just no no no hyperbole No exaggeration. I have thousands of testimonials to back this up We have thousands of testimonials to back this up. We have thousands of testimonials to back it up. But when you work with a home builder, when I work with a business owner, we can typically double the size of the company

(Speaker 2)
within 24 months. Yeah. Double, and you say double? Yeah, there’s businesses that we have tripled, there’s businesses we’ve grown eight X, there’s so many examples you can see

(Speaker 2)
at thrivetimeshow.com. But again, this is the most interactive, best business workshop on the planet. This is objectively the highest rated and most reviewed business workshop on the planet.

(Speaker 14)
I was looking to learn how to take my business, like they’ve said today, from being very successful to being systematic. I’ve got a very successful practice in three different cities. Make good money.

(Speaker 14)
Just want to take it to the next level with systems and processes to where

(Speaker 22)
I can drive my cars more.

(Speaker 14)
Paul Hood. I’ve been a CPA for 33 years.

(Speaker 2)
And what kind of growth have you and your great team had here over the past, let’s say, five, six years?

(Speaker 14)
The last five, when I met you five years ago, we were doing $3 million. This year, we’ll do $24 million.

(Speaker 2)
And you say, Clay, I still, I’m not going to get a ticket unless you give me more. OK, fine. We’re going to serve you the same meal both days. True story. We cater in the food. And because I keep it simple, I literally bring in the same food both days for lunch.

(Speaker 2)
It’s Ted Esconzito’s, an incredible Mexican restaurant. That’s going to happen. And Jill Donovan, our good friend, who is the founder of Rustic Cuff, she started that company in her home. And now she sells millions of dollars of apparel and products.

(Speaker 2)
That’s rusticcuff.com. And someone says, I want more. This is not enough.

(Speaker 1)
Give me more. Okay. I’m not gonna mention their names right now because I’m working on it behind the scenes here. But we’ve got one guy who’s giving me a verbal to be here. And this is a guy who’s one of the wealthiest people in Oklahoma.

(Speaker 1)
And nobody really knows who he is because he’s built systems that are very utilitarian, that offer a lot of value. He’s made a lot of money in the, it’s the, it’s where you rent, it’s short term, not, it’s where you’re renting storage spaces. He’s a storage space guy. He owns the, what do you call that? The rental, the storage space, storage units. This guy owns storage units. He owns railroad cars. He owns a lot of assets that make money on

(Speaker 1)
a daily basis, but they’re not like customer facing. Most people don’t know who owns the mini storage facility or most people don’t know who owns the warehouse that’s passively making money. Most people don’t know who owns the railroad cars, but this guy, he’s giving me a verbal that he will be here and we just continue to add more and more success stories. So if you’re out there today and you want to change your life, you want to give yourself a incredible gift, you want a life-changing experience, you want to

(Speaker 1)
learn how to start and grow a company, go to Thrivetimeshow.com. Go there right

(Speaker 11)
now. Thrivetimeshow.com. Request a ticket for the two-day interactive event. Hey, how’s it going? I’m Thomas Crosson, owner and founder of Full Package Media in Dallas, Texas. I’ve been a coaching client with Clay Clark since the beginning of our business. We started about a year ago, August of last year. I had no clients, no idea what we were doing, no clue really what was going on. And now we’ve grown to where we’ve got six photographers, we’ve got office space here. I have an admin sales person that works for us full time,

(Speaker 11)
developing an online system. And a lot of that growth we attribute to Clay helping us. And there’s so many things that, no, I mean, his stuff is not revolutionary.

(Speaker 10)
It’s not this crazy walk on hot coals and all this stuff.

(Speaker 11)
It’s just real, real stuff.

(Speaker 2)
It’s gonna be a blasty blast. There’s no upsells. Aaron, I could not be more excited about this event.

(Speaker 1)
I think it is incredible. And there’s somebody out there right now, you’re watching and you’re like, but I already signed up for this incredible other program called Smoke Your Way to Thin. I think that’s going to change your life? I promise you, this will be 10 times better than that.

(Speaker 21)
It’s like I picked the wrong week to quit smoking.

(Speaker 1)
Don’t do the Smoke Your Way to Thin conference. That is, I’ve tried it.

(Speaker 20)
Don’t do it.

(Speaker 2)
Yeah, chain smoking is not a viable, I mean, it is life-changing. It is life-changing. If you become a chain smoker, it is life-changing. Not the best weight loss program to fight. Right. Not really. So if you’re looking to have life-changing results in a way that won’t cause you to have a stoma, get your tickets at Thrivetimeshow.com.

(Speaker 2)
Again that’s Aaron Antis. I’m Clay Clark. And reminding you and inviting you to come out to the two-day interactive Thrivetimeshow workshop right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I promise you, it will be a life-changing experience. We can’t wait to see you right here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. What kind of growth have you had since you and I’ve been working together over these past few years?

(Speaker 19)
3.45 million. I got those stats before I got on here.

(Speaker 2)
So you’ve grown by 3.45 million? Yeah got those stats before I got on here. So you’ve grown by 3.45 million?

(Speaker 8)
Yeah, 3 million 450,000.

(Speaker 2)
Would that be like if you took the combined revenue, maybe doubled it? Have we ever we’ve gone up by? Have we ever we’ve gone up by?

(Speaker 16)
About almost three, not quite. you you you you you you you you you you Whoa, man.
