They don’t even allow these today. They don’t even allow these today because they’re so dangerous. But that’s what they used when I did the film. They’re barely six ounces, they’re Reyes, and they’re literally lethal. So I still have them because it’s a time when people were tougher. Sorry, they were. Life is just getting a little easier and easier and easier and oh that’s great, it’s wonderful, but it’s not. I think when we force ourself into tough situations, that’s what the human creature is supposed to do. They’re not supposed to have wheels on their suitcases. They’re not supposed to have lawn mowers with engines that pull them along. It’s a convenience, no question, but it just makes things easier. Now with AI, you can literally put your brain in the pickle jar and have that machine do it. So I cherish these moments, I cherish hard work, even though I hate it, I know it’s like strong medicine. It tastes horrible going down, but it makes you feel better. I know that most successful people do this. I hope that you can be inspired by what I do. And I need you to understand that the bigger your dream is, the earlier you’re going to have to get up. I am quite famous in my community, at least for my commitment to my morning routine. I do not deviate, I do not deviate, I do not deviate from it for any reason. Even when I travel, even when I’m on vacation, the morning routine is preserved. And I figured this out a long time ago, realizing that as an entrepreneur working for myself, if I didn’t start the day off the way that I intended it, my day was just gonna run me over. I wake up in the morning around 6.30 without an alarm. Yep, right, you know, five, five, 10 most days, my wife and I, we work out, we eat a healthy breakfast with our children. I usually get in a good 30 to 40 minutes of reading. And this is all before I get on my email or anything else, right? This is all quiet time. There’s a lot less distractions in the morning. Oftentimes I’ll get up about 5.45. I start to rock into my day, and oftentimes by about eight o’clock, I’ve got some phone calls set up. And I always try and get a workout in there, because if I’m not working out, then I’m not creative. I have routines that I like to place in there where they fit, but I never compromise. The latest I’ll get up at 6.30. Sometimes I’ll be in the office as early as maybe 5. The first three hours of the day, what I try to do is get to the office as fast as I can. So I try to spend the earliest part of the morning before other people get in doing study time because the office heats up around 8.30 or 9. And so I’m most creative in the morning, and that’s when I’m knocking out the kind of stuff that I study. I just want to be the hardest worker in the room. Like, I refuse for anybody to outwork me. So, I get up at 4 right away, then I focus on one thing that I’m really proud of yesterday. Just a little thing that I was really proud of yesterday, get that dopamine hit of success right away. Get up at 6 a.m. every day. Just do it now. Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! Wake! Wake! Wake up! Out of your sleep, wake up. So I get up at six, but from six to 7.30 is sort of my private time. Wake up. I get ready, I get all prepped to do my day, and I don’t really get onto anything like emails or anything else until I’ve had at least an hour and a half to acclimate for the day, set out my goals, I look at my calendar, what have I got to do today, check it out, but kind of prepave the day. As opposed to when you have to jump out of bed and run straight screaming into the office, I will always make sure I have time in the morning. Get up at 6 a.m. every day. Get up at 6. 6.30 without an alarm. I get up at 4. I get up at 6.30. I usually get up around 6 in the morning. I’m at work usually around 7.30, and that gives me about an hour before most people show up, so I have some time to prepare even ahead of the day starting. I try to wake up early, usually before 6 o’clock, and that always gives me a chance to clear my head. I usually came in very early at 5. I get up early. This morning I got up at 3 o’clock and I don’t always get up at 3 but I typically get up at 4, 30 or 5 and I do that because that’s the only part of the day you really control. Usually I get up at 5 a.m. Every once in a while I’ll go to 5, 30, 5, 40. Anywhere between 4, 30 and 5 every single morning. Between 4 o’clock and 6 o’clock I have my morning routine. Like most great truths in life, that seems counterintuitive. But the reality is, if you want to get more done… Wake up! I’m usually up between 6 and 6.30. Getting up at 6, that’s the ideal time for me to wake up. I get up like at 6 in the morning. I wake up at 5 every day. I actually find that it really works for me because my brain is clear and I can go to the most important things right away. I wake up around 5. I think it was an effective way to live. Plan your day before your day. I get up around 4.30. I wake up at about 5, 5.30. I’ll be up at 4.30 in the morning, every single morning. We’re usually up by 5.30. My early rise is about 6. I get up at 5.55 AM. I know it’s very precise and strange, but it’s just my time to get up an hour before my world starts to get busy, and I focus on myself. Wake up before 6. Just do it now. So I’m up at 5. I look forward to it. Those 4 hours are crucial for me. This sort of sets up my day, my mental space. I’m up at 4.30. So I use this strategy because I had to get up at 4.30 in the morning. Just took a page out of the wealthy people, the self-made millionaires in my study. That morning routine been paying off like crazy for me and I think that’s why wealthy people do it. And I wake up every day around 6.30 during the season you know it’s usually 435. 530 I’m getting up in the morning. It’s a way to win the day before the day starts. I’m up every morning at about 430. The first hour is for me. Why did I make it 430? Because nobody else is awake. Nobody’s gonna bother me. That time belongs to me. I’ve never woken up on the morning of a speech any later than 2 a.m. But I’ll wake up at 3 and I’ll look at the clock and I’ll say you’ve got to be kidding it’s 3 a.m. And then I’ll say to myself, look, you’re not going to sleep anyway, so you might as well just get up and go in. Walked in my office at 6.15, I spent, I took that time to plan my day, answer all my emails, hour and 40, boy, just get myself set up, know exactly where I’m going to spend the day, what I’m going to do, what I’m not going to do, answer people, and it’s chaos for the rest of the day. What if you’re not the only one that wants what you want? What if there are thousands of other people who want what you want? You have to outwork them. You gotta outbind them. You gotta get up earlier. When you hit the snooze, you lose, and now the rest of the day, you just kinda feel bad. I know you gonna dig this. Let’s go, let’s go. Broadcasting live from the center of the universe, it’s Business School Without the BS. Featuring optometrist turned entrepreneur dr. Robert Zellner with USSBA entrepreneur of the year clay Clark welcome to the drive time show on talk radio 1170 Yes it’s Z and Clay, broadcasting from the box in the 918 Business school in the top 8 today Check this to the bus it’s getting you paid Making a business boom is what we do You can do it let us show you It’s the Thrive Time Show on your radio. It’s the Thrive Time Show and away we go. It’s the Thrive Time Show on your radio. In 3, 2, 1, here we go. Let’s go! Let’s go! Let’s go! Let’s go! Alright, Thrive Nation, welcome back into conversation. back of the conversation that was Tom Brady from the New England Patriots yelling let’s go and Tom Brady if you were to bring him into a typical typical office environment and if he brought that kind of enthusiasm to your office many people would say that Tom Brady is irrational many people would say that Tom Brady’s too intense many people would say that Tom Brady is is successful. And so today’s topic, today’s entire focus is living a countercultural existence is absolutely a prerequisite to having success. I repeat, living a countercultural existence is absolutely required to produce success. Well, what do I mean by that? Well, okay, if you’re listening right now and you’re a self-employed person, I want you to ask yourself, what time did you wake up today? I mean, what was your time? What would you wake up? Four? Five? I’ll tell you what, if you will email me right now, info at thrive15.com. If you’ll email me, info at thrive15.com. The first 10 people to email me the time you woke up, I will give you a copy of my most, one of my most recent books called Thrive. I encourage you to email me right now. Info at thrive15.com. Email me what time did you wake up today? What time did you wake up today? Because I will encourage you to think about this. Most self-employed people wake up previous to 6 AM. Most successful self-employed people wake up previous to 6 AM. If you want to read Ben Franklin and study his mindset on this, I’m paraphrasing, but he says the person who is early to bed and early to rise will always be what? Wise, healthy and wise. The point is you’re going to be successful if you get up and you schedule meta-time to design the life that you want to live instead of reacting to the life you don’t want to live. Now what is meta-time? Well, meta-time is the time that you use to work above your normal day-to-day. Meta, from the Greek word meaning above. So if you want to work above the reactionary day-to-day life that most people just choose to accept, then you have to have meta-time. I get up every single day and ordain my destiny because I choose to believe that this is the day the Lord has made and what? I’m going to rejoice and be glad in it. I’m not sure where I can find this in the Bible but this is the day that the Lord has made and I shall rejoice and plan it. I only plan the days that I want to have a good day which is this just in. Every day you should plan your day. So what I encourage you to do today is first embrace this concept that if you’re going to be successful you must live a counter cultural existence a counter cultural Existence but number two I want to put this in the oil and put this thought into your head John Maxwell the best-selling author of the book 21 irrefutable laws of leadership the guy who’s studied leaders and successful people for Nearly half of his life. He once wrote in his book the 21 irrefutable laws of leadership. You will never change your life until you change something you do daily. Daily? Yes, you will never change your life until you change something that you do daily. Daily? The secret of your success is found in your routine. What? What was that? He said the secret of your success is found in your daily routine. Well, let’s look at what the average American is doing. If you want to be centric, if you want to be cultural, if you just want to be a person who goes with the flow, you want to do what everybody else is doing. Well, here’s how it’s working for these people. 63% of Americans don’t have enough savings to cover a $500 emergency, according to Forbes. 63% of Americans do not have $500 available to cover an emergency according to Forbes do that according to Forbes 70% of people hate their jobs hate hate is a strong word I mean hate was a word the Emperor the Emperor from Star Wars He was kind of obsessed with teaching hate to a Darth Vader and such before Darth Vader It was Anakin Skywalker, but the point is the point is I’ve watched a little too much Star Wars and hate the my friends, the concept of hate. 70% of people hate their jobs. I mean, it means that they are working 5 7ths of their week, 5 out of 7 days, to what? Get to the weekend. They don’t like the other 5 days of the week. They love the weekend. The week is a grind, but the weekend, oh, they love the weekend. That’s the majority of people. Now, for me as an entrepreneur, I’ve got to be honest with you. I’ve got to be candid with you. I’ve got to be real with you on every show. I love every day of my work week. I love it. I love what I do. A-A-A. I’m on vacation every single day because I love my occupation. A-A-A. I’m on vacation every single day because I love my occupation. If you’ve even heard that song, you should Google that thing and check it out. I love my job. I love what I do every single day. Did you know that 8 out of 10 people that start a business fail, according to Forbes? So if you want to be centric, again, well if you’re an employee, 70% of employees hate their jobs. And if you want to be an employer, 8 out of 10 businesses fail. And you know, to this day, as I’ve met people at workshops and in-person conferences all around the world, I have yet to meet a non-cult member, a non-cult member or non-actively, intentionally Colorado-ish homeless person. I’m not sure if you’re aware of this, but there’s a lot of people in their early 20s in Colorado who choose to be homeless. If you go downtown, you’re going to see these people, they’re choosing to be homeless. Outside of those people and the people who are choosing to live in a cult, I have yet to meet somebody who says, I don’t want to be successful. I just don’t want to be successful. I just want to be a pathetic loser. No, most people say they want to be successful. So why is it that if most people want to be successful, that they do not actually become successful. I mean, we’re talking again, 70% of employees hate their jobs, and 8 out of 10 entrepreneurs fail. So why is it then that most people do not have any success in the world of business? Well, I’ll explain this to you. It is because they do not want to change their routine. I know you want to change your routine. I know you are a committed listener who is focused on having a solution-minded, proactive, and positive mindset. But most people just don’t want to change their routine. They want to keep doing the same thing over and over again, hoping at some point that things are going to change. And they think people like Ray Lewis, the NFL Hall of Fame linebacker, he’s a little too intense. They think that Kobe Bryant, the NBA Hall of Fame basketball player, you know, he’s a little too intense. They think that Elon Musk, the wealthiest man in Los Angeles right now, he’s a little intense. Let me tell you what Elon Musk has to say about acronyms. Just acronyms and the importance of saving a file in a way that another human could understand what it is, what the file means, where to find stuff so that other employees could find things. This is what Elon Musk says about acronyms. He says, individually, a few acronyms here and there may not seem so bad, but if a few thousand people are making these up, over time, the result will be a glossary that we have to issue to new employees. Musk wrote, no one can actually remember all these acronyms and people don’t want to seem dumb in a meeting, so they just sit there in ignorance. This is particularly tough to new employees and this needs to stop immediately or I will take drastic action. Unless an acronym is approved by me, it should not enter the SpaceX glossary. If there is an existing acronym that cannot be reasonably justified, it should be eliminated. As I have requested in the past. Elon Musk, guys, this is the guy who is the guy behind PayPal, the guy behind Tesla, the guy behind SolarCity, the guy behind a lot of things. He is freaking out about acronyms. I’m asking you right now, are you willing to change your schedule? Because if you want to have exceptional success, you would have any success. I mean success is not normal. Most people go through life and never have success financially. Most people never have success in their marriages. Whoa, whoa, whoa! You’re talking about marriages now? Most people never have success in any area of their lives. And so if you want to have success in the F6 life, which we define as faith, family, finances, I’ll give you a moment if you’re new to this concept. You want to have success in the F6 life of faith, family, finances, fitness, fun, fun? We get to have fun? Yeah, great. Faith, family, finances, friendship, fun. If you want to have success in these areas, then you’re going to have to, what? You’re going to have to change your schedule. And again, John Maxwell, best-selling author of 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership. By the way, be mad at him, don’t be mad at me if you don’t like this notable quote. Well, he says again, you will never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine. My friends, you’ve got to change your routine. So here’s what I’m going to encourage you to do. During the break, write down anything you’re not happy about with your current life trajectory. Write down any area of your life where you’re not happy with where you’re going. And when we come back, let’s work together on trying to get you from where you are to where you want to be. However, it is very hard to help you if I don’t get a chance to meet you and to help you on a one-on-one or small group level. The dynamics of our workshop is entirely different from that of a radio show because we can show you visual examples, we can shake your hands, we can go out to lunch with you, we can teach you all of the moves that Dr. Zeller and I have each used to build 13 multi-million dollar businesses. If you feel like you’re falling, if you feel like you’re stuck, if you feel like you’re just not getting to where you want to go, stay tuned because today we’re teaching you specifically what you need to do to live a counter cultural success intercultural success mindset life. Because success is not normal, my friend. Success is not normal at all. Most people never have success, and we’re teaching you specifically what you need to do to experience success in this world where most people, frankly, never get to where they want to go. Sorry, it’s kind of a down. Stay tuned. Well, all right. Oh, oh, Lord. Well, all right. Oh, oh, Lord. Well, all right. Oh, oh Lord, well alright Oh, oh Lord, well alright Drive your high heel into my heart I don’t even care, cause my pride is worth much more than yours, your stupid little love Every word that you say keeps on bouncing around in my head When all my delusions that grabbed you have turned into bad jokes instead instead. You’ll be there pointing and laughing to prove you were wiser than I. Well I’m just pretending perfection I’m flying uncomfortably high. It feels like I’m falling. Welcome to the Thrivetime Show on Talk Radio 1170. Everybody’s sour like a lemon tree. I’m just smiling down at former enemies. Do they love it on a daily. Say you hate your job, but you’ll never leave, never leave. But that ain’t gonna be me, that ain’t gonna be me. My brother called me upset, he saw me on TV. I said it wasn’t easy, but right now I’m living free. Build this engine from the ground up, now my hands, they ain’t so greasy. Feel me? Ay, I’m on vacation every single day, cause I love my occupation. All right, Thrive Nation, welcome back to the conversation. Today we are talking about the news. We are talking about the news. We are talking about the news. We are talking about the news. Every single day, because I love my occupation. Alright Thrive Nation, welcome back to the conversation. Today we are talking specifically about living a countercultural existence to produce success. You know, most people today never experience success in their careers. And they have sort of a false, pious, pro-family narrative, they like to say. an example. I’m talking about most people, not talking about you. I’m talking about most people. So according to Forbes, 70% of employees hate their jobs. They don’t like them. So people who hate their jobs typically will say, well I just care about my family. I care more about my family. My family is more important to me than my job.” Okay, let’s just say that that is your mindset. Well then, the statistics from, and I encourage you to Google these, by the way. Check these out. CBS News teamed up with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to do a little study, and they found that 75% of employees are stealing from the workplace, and most do so repeatedly. So most people say, you know, I don’t like my job. Seventy percent of people, according to Forbes, hate their jobs, which by the way, is kind of a strong statement. And 75 percent of people are stealing, according to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and CBS News. That’s a lot of not good things going on. So, concept number one I want to put in your head today is success is not normal. If you’re going to have success, be ready to be called OCD, obsessive compulsive disorder, to be called a workaholic, to be called anything under the sun so that people who are not working as hard as you don’t feel bad. People who are not grinding, people who are not waking up at 5 a.m. every day to get their job done. People who do not understand what it’s like to work on their feet every day. People who do not understand what it’s like to be a roofer in Oklahoma when it’s 90 degrees, 100 degrees outside. People who do not understand what it’s like to be a freaking dentist, leaned over every day cleaning teeth, may have with your back hurting. People who do not understand what it’s like to work with people who get mandated time off and who can’t work more than 40 hours and who can file freaking unemployment for any small grievance at all, but while you slave away at your business. People who don’t understand what it’s like to be an entrepreneur, they will call you a workaholic, OCD, anything that they can possibly call you so that they feel less bad, that they can’t pay their bills as a result of going to Mexico on vacations whenever possible, as a result of taking time off whenever possible, as a result of trying to rebuke the biblical law from Proverbs 10, 4 from the Bible. Proverbs 10, 4, controversial book there, buddy. Proverbs 10, 4 states, God blesses the hand of the diligent. You should look that up. It blesses the hand of the diligent and it punishes the slackered. And so people who are not able to achieve success as a result of not working hard love to tell you that you’re a workaholic. And so our whole vision here at the Thrive Time Show is to help you get where you want to go specifically in a very practical way. We want to help you do that. And so occasionally, I really, really need help growing my business. And when we talk to these people, it’s amazing how quickly we can make huge impacts and changes in their business. If you’re an existing business owner, it’s amazing how quickly we can turn things around for you. So I want to play an audio clip from an attorney who’s been an attorney for over 20 years in New Orleans. And we’ve only worked with the guy for like a month. I think we’ve worked with the guy three weeks from the point this video was shot. Hear what he has to say about the Thrive Time Business Coach Program. My name is Christopher Schwartz. I’m an attorney from New Orleans and I’ve been a client here for three weeks. I’ve heard of Thrive15.com through the web. I was searching for management companies and I first came across Tony Robbins and I wasn’t really too sold on what he had to offer and I just searched some more and I saw Clay’s podcast and it looked somewhat interesting. For years I have worked with a marketing company, about four years now, and I have spent thousands and thousands monthly and they could never get me on the Google Maps. And now, I’ve only been a client here for three weeks now, and you have me on the Google Maps for New Orleans and Baton Rouge, and it’s huge because I’m even getting more phone calls. I had my first consultation was a one-hour phone call with Clay, and he told me some sales tips that I could immediately use on the phone to have clients come into the office. And then I was sent over and assigned to Marshall as my management consultant. And he speaks to me Wednesday at 3 p.m. and we have covered so many topics. We have covered personnel questions. We have personnel manuals. We have talked about, you know, marketing and how to use the web and how to increase worker productivity at the office. So we’ve only, you know, I could never see where they had their headquarters. I’m actually here at their headquarters three weeks from being a client. You know, it’s huge. I’m excited about the marketing measurements and how to set up systems to increase productivity. I have no systems and I really don’t control my marketing at all. So I’m excited about the future. I would definitely recommend Thrive. I have seen immediate results and I’m a small business owner, so I can see how even non-lawyers would use these same kind of services. I think that business owners should see this as a one-stop shop. This is huge. I mean, you have your marketing, your management, your accounting. It’s just completely all-inclusive. The fees, $1,500 a month. I don’t have to hire a personnel company to draft me an employment manual and job descriptions. I don’t have to hire a web designer. I don’t have to hire a CPA to set up accounting systems. This is like I have a weekly coaching session. So it keeps this all in my head fresh still. So I am excited. Thrivers, you heard it right there direct from an attorney in New Orleans. You can absolutely have success in business this year. It’s not like setting fire to the rain. Stay tuned. My name is Clay Clark. You’re listening to the Thrive Time Radio Show on 1170 Talk Radio. I cried cause I heard his scream and now tell me Get ready to enter the Thrive Time Show on Talk Radio 1170. Incredible wife, kids, gather around the kitchen table. I’ve got two weeks of vacation coming. And we could go anywhere. We could go to Disney World. We could go to Niagara Falls. We could go to Tulsa. Home of the blue whale? Home of the Josh’s snow cones? The snow cone stand? Kids, get in the van! We gotta get in the van! We’re going to Tulsa! I want to welcome everybody to the 918. Place known for sod farms and tornadoes, it’s great. Belt buckle of the Bible Belt and the home of QT. Home of Garth Brooks and Dr. Z. Birthplace of Gary Underwood and ORU where people love Jesus and the handguns too If you like the barbecue, then we like you buy your ticket short trip is long overdue Tulsa tourism there’s a wild pot the following message was brought to you by the International Tulsa Slide Farm Tourism Bureau Committed to bringing green side up tours to people like you. Oh, wow. Wow thrivers Hopefully you appreciated my shameless attempt to bring tourism to Tulsa and in many ways we’re actually doing that. You know, our in-person workshops are being attended by people who live in California, people who live in Toronto, people who live in Florida. We’ve had Phoenix, Arizona, Tucson, Arizona. I think I just said Las Vegas. We’ve had Missouri, a lot of people from Missouri, a lot of people from Texas attend the workshops, Tennessee. The Thrive World Headquarters is becoming a destination for entrepreneurs all around the world just like you because they’re beginning to spread the word that Dr. Z and I have been able to build 13 multi-million dollar businesses, not because we’re geniuses, but because we understand the proven path. Not only do we understand the proven path, we’ve actually distilled it into a 13-point, step-by-step system that you can actually apply in your life. And today we’re talking about living a counter-cultural existence to produce success. Concept number one you must embrace is that success is not normal. If you want to have success, be ready for everybody around you to say that you’re a workaholic. Be ready for them to say, all you do is work, all you’re focused on is just growing your business, but what about your family? Be ready for them to attack your diligence, your sincerity, your focus, your purpose. Be ready for them to attack anything that allows you to become successful. Be ready for them to attack you waking up early. Be ready for them to attack you firing people that do a horrible job at their job. Be ready for them to attack you for not allowing family members to be your marketing team. Just be ready for people to attack you for anything because success is not normal. Concept number two, saying yes to positive people requires you to say no to negative people. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. That was such a negative statement there. You’re talking about positive things and then you’re saying negative things. So saying yes to positive people requires you to say no to negative people. Someone should say that back one more time. Saying yes to positive people requires you to say no to negative people. You should probably tweet that to somebody, Facebook that to somebody. You should probably share that with somebody. And I will just tell you, as an entrepreneur, you cannot have thermometer partners. You cannot be a partner, you can’t have partners that are thermometer partners to grow something big. Thermometer partners are people that just tell you what’s going on, what’s going wrong, but not providing you any solutions. A thermostat has the ability to change the temperature of any given temperature in a room. You know, a thermostat, you go into an apartment, I remember when my wife and I used to live in an apartment complex over there at 67th and Lewis, and it was right behind the Marriott Hotel in that area, and we couldn’t afford air conditioning, you know? And so if we adjusted that thermostat, if we tried to make it colder, it wouldn’t get colder because we didn’t pay the bill. We didn’t set it up, you know? And so we were sweating all the time. Here we were in August, in July, in June, sweating because we took the money that we were going to spend on our Yellow Page ads and we spent that, sorry, we took the money we were going to spend on our air conditioning, we took the money we were going to spend on our air conditioning and we put that into our Yellow Pages. So we decided to market, take the money we could have taken for comfort and to put that in, to sow those seeds into the Yellow Page advertisements, which at the time were kind of a big deal if you’re old enough to remember such time in American history. And so we had a vision of what our life was going to be, not what it was. But if you’re surrounded by people that just say to you, well, we don’t have enough momentum. The sales aren’t going very good right now. Looks like the sales aren’t good at all. That’s not what you need to build a successful company. You need people that are going to breathe faith into your business, faith, because faith cannot coexist with doubt. Faith and doubt are opposites. They cannot coexist together. So if you need someone to breathe faith into your business, you are not alone. In fact, you do need people. You need to surround yourself with people that can breathe faith and life into your business. Your network absolutely is your net worth, because the people around you, man, if they start to say negative things to you, Carlton Pearson, one of my mentors and a former televangelist, obviously, he and I do not agree religiously anymore, but he once told me, he says, you don’t spell words. Words cast a spell on you. If you’re surrounded by people in your office who consistently talk about how your business does not have momentum, but yet they’re unwilling to do anything needed to create the momentum, they’re part of the problem. So you’ve got to surround yourself with positive people. So saying yes to positive people requires you to say no to negative people. You cannot be around negative people if you’re going to have success. I promise you they will take you down. They will suck your energy. They will suck your joy. They will kill your faith. And you will find yourself trying to lift them up, but you can’t. You’ve got to surround yourself with positive people that lift you up. Now Thrivers, we have a little audio clip I want to play from a Thriver out there just like you who shared with us his recent experience with the Thrive Time Business Coach Program and how much it’s been able to help lift him up and to help him get to where he wants to go with his life and his business. What I’ve learned so far is practical steps to set my business apart from other businesses in the same industry, in this case legal services. And I’m getting practical steps on how to do that. It’s really casual, yet professional, and it’s kind of entertaining, but gives you some practical ideas and steps on what to do. It really helps navigate you on propelling yourself to the next level. Clay’s presentation is great. It’s captivating, it’s entertaining, but practical, and it’s just really a lot of good information. It’s a great atmosphere. You have a lot of people that really want to succeed. They want to see you succeed as well. So it’s a really great company to be in. With this conference, there’s no staleness. It’s really exciting and it really gives you some practical ideas on how to make yourself a better business person and how to create other businesses. If you decide not to attend this conference, I think you’re missing out on success. You need a plan on how to succeed and attending this conference will help get you there. But today we’re talking about how to live a counter-cultural existence to produce success bottom line? If you want to have success in your life, you’re going to have to live a countercultural existence because according to Forbes 70% of people hate their jobs Guys, I’m not making this up. You should Google this 70% check it out on Google research it find the facts find where they cited it 70% of employees hate their jobs. That’s crazy. Crazy. Eight out of ten entrepreneurs are going to go out of business, according to Forbes. Eight out of ten businesses are going to go out of business. So if you’re going to change your life, you have to change your schedule. You’ve got to change what you put in your schedule. And according to John Maxwell, the best-selling author of 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, irrefutable laws of leadership. He says, you will never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine. Someone wants us to bring that back. Someone wants us to replay that real quick. So here we go. Pick a pick a John Maxwell. You will never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success, bring it back, success is found in your daily routine. So concept number one, understand success is not normal. Surround yourself with people that understand that concept. Concept number two, saying yes to positive people requires you to say no to negative people. It’s just something you have to do. You cannot surround yourself with negative people that do not understand what it takes to be successful and win. You’ve got to part ways, part company, get out of the partnership, get them out of your office, get them out of your life, get them out of your cell phone, quit seeing them at church, do whatever you have to do to get negative people out of your life. You’ve got to do it. Concept number three, most people hate their jobs and live for the weekend, but most entrepreneurs who are successful love their jobs so much, they don’t really look forward to the weekend. Most entrepreneurs that I know, most top-level successful entrepreneurs love their jobs. They have found a way to weave in their family and their kids and their business and their life all into one awesome week. They love every day. They wake up on Monday excited to go to work. They’re pumped up to go to work. Because of this, they love what they do. But the average person lives for the weekend. They don’t like their week and they just wait for the weekend. And this is unfortunately why 70% of people, according to Forbes, hate their jobs. And so if you like your job and you love what you do and you’re passionate about growing growing your business and earning more, learning more, figuring out how to provide more for your family, most people say, what’s your problem? Why are you obsessed about your business? You’re a workaholic, Greg. All you ever do is work all the time. How come you’re always obsessed about your business? It’s because you freaking care, right? You really care. But most people don’t understand what it’s like to care about their job because their job is just one compartment of their life that they’re not passionate about. And so if you’re going to become successful just understand that most people around you don’t like their jobs. In fact, according to Forbes, 70% of them hate their job. I know you’re going to dig this. Let’s go, let’s go! Broadcasting live from the center of the universe, it’s Business School without the BS. Featuring optometrist turned entrepreneur, Dr. Robert Zellner, with USSBA Entrepreneur of the Year, Clay Clark. Welcome to the Thrive Time Show on Talk Radio 1170. Oh, don’t die! Yes, it’s Z and Clay, broadcasting from the box in the 918. 918. Business school in the topic today. Chickens to the bus, it’s getting you paid. Making a business boom is what we do. You can do it, let us show you. It’s the Thrive Time Show on your radio. It’s the Thrive Time Show and away we go. It’s the Thrive Time Show on your radio. In three, two, one, here we go. Let’s go! Let’s go! Let’s go! Let’s go! Let’s go! Alright, Thrive Nation, welcome back to the conversation. That was Tom Brady from the New England Patriots yelling, let’s go. And Tom Brady, if you were to bring him into a typical office environment and if he brought that kind of enthusiasm to your office, many people would say that Tom Brady is irrational. Many people would say that Tom Brady is too intense. Many people would say that Tom Brady is successful. And so today’s topic, today’s entire focus is living a countercultural existence is absolutely a prerequisite to having success. I repeat, living a countercultural existence is absolutely required to produce success. Well what do I mean by that? Well okay, if you’re listening right now and you’re a self-employed person, I want you to ask yourself, what time did you wake up today? I mean, what was your time? What would you wake up? Four? Five? I’ll tell you what, if you will email me right now, info at thrive15.com. If you’ll email me, info at thrive15.com. The first 10 people to email me the time you woke up, I will give you a copy of my most, one of my most recent books called Thrive. I encourage you to email me right now. Info at thrive15.com. Email me, what time did you wake up today? What time did you wake up today? Because I will encourage you to think about this. Most self-employed people wake up previous to 6 a.m. Most successful self-employed people wake up previous to 6 a.m.. If you read Ben Franklin and study his Mindset on this I’m paraphrasing, but he says the person who is early to bed and early to rise will always be what wise Healthy and wise the point is you’re going to be successful If you get up and you schedule metatime to design the life that you want to live Instead of reacting to the life. You don’t want to live. I’m not sure where I can find this in the Bible, but this is the day that the Lord has made and I shall rejoice and plan it. I only plan the days that I want to have a good day, which is this just in. Every day you should plan your day. So what I encourage you to do today is first embrace this concept that if you’re going to be successful, you must live a counter-cultural existence. But number two, I want to put this thought into your head. John Maxwell, the best-selling author of the book, 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, the guy who’s studied leaders and successful people for nearly half of his life, he once wrote in his book, The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, you will never change your life until you change something you do daily. Daily? Yes, you will never change your life until you change something that you do daily. Daily? The secret of your success is found in your routine. What? What was that? He said the secret of your success is found in your daily routine. Well let’s look at what the average American is doing. If you want to be centric, if you want to be cultural, if you just want to be a person who goes with the flow, you want to do what everybody else is doing. Well, here’s how it’s working for these people. 63% of Americans don’t have enough savings to cover a $500 emergency, according to Forbes. 63% of Americans do not have $500 available to cover an emergency according to Forbes. Do you know that according to Forbes, 70% of people hate their jobs. Hate. Hate is a strong word. I mean, hate was a word the emperor, the emperor from Star Wars, he was kind of obsessed with teaching hate to Darth Vader and such. Before Darth Vader, it was Anakin Skywalker. But the point is, the point is, I’ve watched a little too much Star Wars and hate the my friends that the concept of hate 70% of people hate their jobs. I mean it means that they are working five sevenths of their week five out of seven days To what get to the weekend? They don’t like the other five days of the week They love the weekend the return of the week is a grind, but the weekend. Oh, they love they love the weekend That’s the majority of people. Now, for me as an entrepreneur, I’ve got to be honest with you. I’ve got to be candid with you. I’ve got to be real with you on every show. I love every day of my work week. I love it. I love what I do. Eh, eh, eh. I’m on vacation every single day because I love my occupation. Eh, eh, eh. I’m on vacation every single day because I love my occupation. If you’ve even heard that song, you should Google that thing and check it out. I love my job. I love what I do every single day. Did you know that 8 out of 10 people that start a business fail according to Forbes? So if you want to be centric, again, well if you’re an employee, 70% of employees hate their jobs. And if you want to be an employer, 8 out of 10 businesses fail. And you know, to this day, as I’ve met people at workshops and in-person conferences all around the world, I have yet to meet a non-cult member, a quick disclaimer, a non-cult member or non-actively, intentionally Colorado-ish homeless person. I’m not sure if you’re aware of this, but there’s a lot of people in their early 20s in Colorado who choose to be homeless. If you go downtown you’re going to see these people they’re choosing to be homeless. Outside of those people and the people who are choosing to live in a cult, I have yet to meet somebody who says, I don’t want to be successful. I just I don’t want to be successful. I just want to be a pathetic loser. No, most people say they want to be successful. So why is it that if most people want to be successful that they do not actually become successful. I mean, we’re talking again, 70% of employees hate their jobs and eight out of 10 entrepreneurs fail. So why is it then that most people do not have any success in the world of business? Well, I’ll explain this to you. It is because they do not want to change their routine. I know you want to change your routine. I know you are a committed listener who is focused on having a solution-minded, proactive, and positive mindset, but most people just don’t want to change their routine. They want to keep doing the same thing over and over again, hoping at some point that things are going to change. They think people like Ray Lewis, the NFL Hall of Fame basketball player, you know, he’s a little too intense. They think that Elon Musk, the wealthiest man in Los Angeles right now, he’s a little intense. Let me tell you what Elon Musk has to say about acronyms. Just acronyms. Just abbreviating words and saving them in a way where no one else can decipher what the heck you’re talking about? I mean, if you just want to hear what Elon Musk has to say about acronyms and the importance of saving a file in a way that another human could understand what it is, what the file means, where to find stuff so that other employees could find things. Unless an acronym is approved by me, it should be eliminated. It should be eliminated, as I have requested in the past. Elon Musk, guys, this is the guy who is the guy behind PayPal, the guy behind Tesla, the guy behind SolarCity, the guy behind a lot of things. He is freaking out about acronyms. So I’m asking you right now, are you willing to change your routine? Are you willing to change your schedule? Because if you want to have exceptional success, you can have any success. I mean, success is not normal. If you want to have success in the F6 life of faith, family, finances, fitness, fun, fun, we get to have fun, yeah, great. Faith, family, finances, friendship, fun. If you want to have success in these areas, then you’re going to have to what you’re going to have to change your schedule. And again, John Maxwell, bestselling author of 21 irrefutable laws of leadership, by the way, be mad at him. Don’t be mad at me. If you don’t like this, this notable quote, he says again, you will never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine. My friends, you’ve got to change your routine. So here’s what I’m going to encourage you to do. During the break, write down anything that you’re not happy about with your current life trajectory. Write down any area of your life where you’re not happy with where you’re going, and when we come back, let’s work together on trying to get you from where you are to where you want to be. If you feel like you’re falling, if you feel like you’re stuck, if you feel like you’re just not getting to where you want to go, stay tuned because today we’re teaching you specifically what you need to do to live a countercultural success mindset life. Because success is not normal, my friend. Success is not normal at all. Most people never have success. And we’re teaching you specifically what you need to do to experience success in this world where, you know, most people, frankly, never get to where they want to go. Sorry, that’s kind of a down. Stay tuned. ♪ Well, all right, oh, oh oh Lord Well alright, oh oh heart Well alright, oh oh Lord Well alright, oh oh Lord Drive your high heel into my heart heart I don’t even care cuz my pride is worth much more than your stupid little love every word that you say keeps on bouncing around in my head when all my delusions of grandeur have turned into bad jokes instead. You’ll be there pointing and laughing to prove you were wiser than I. Well, I’m just pretending perfection. I’m flying uncomfortably high. It feels like I’m falling. Welcome to the Thrivetime Show on Talk Radio 1170. Everybody’s sour like a lemon tree. I’m just smiling down upon my enemies Do it, do it, love it on a daily Say you hate your job, but you’ll never leave Never leave, but that ain’t gonna be me That ain’t gonna be me My brother called me upset, he saw me on TV I said it wasn’t easy, but right now I’m living freezy Build this engine from the ground up, now my hands, they ain’t so greasy Feel me? Ayy, I’m on vacation Every single day, cause I love my occupation. Alright, Thrive Nation, welcome back to the conversation. Today we are talking specifically about living a counter-cultural existence to produce success. You know, most people today never experience success in their careers, and they have sort of a false, pious, pro-family narrative, they like to say. So here’s an example, let me just give you an example. I’m talking about most people, not talking about you, I’m talking about most people. So according to Forbes, 70% of employees hate their jobs. They don’t like them. So people who hate their jobs typically will say, well, I just care about my family. I care more about my family. My family is more important to me than my job.” Okay, let’s just say that that is your mindset. Well then, the statistics from, and I encourage you to Google these, by the way. Check these out. CBS News teamed up with the US Chamber of Commerce to do a little study, and they found employees are stealing from the workplace and most do so repeatedly. So most people say, you know, I don’t like my job. Seventy percent of people, according to Forbes, hate their jobs, which by the way is kind of a strong statement. And 75 percent of people are stealing, according to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and CBS News. That’s a lot of not good things going on. And so, concept number one I want to put in your head today is success is not normal. If you’re going to have success, be ready to be called OCD, you know, obsessive compulsive disorder, to be called a workaholic, to be called anything under the sun so that people who are not working as hard as you don’t feel bad. People who are not grinding, people who are not waking up at 5 a.m. every day to get their job done, people who do not understand what it’s like to work on their feet every day, people who do not understand what it’s like to be a roofer in Oklahoma when it’s 90 degrees, 100 degrees outside, people who do not understand what it’s like to be a freaking dentist, leaned over every day, cleaning teeth, may have with your back hurting, people who do not understand what it’s like to work with people who get mandated time off and who can’t work more than 40 hours, and who can file freaking unemployment for any small grievance at all, but while you slave away at your business. People who don’t understand what it’s like to be an entrepreneur, they will call you a workaholic, OCD, anything that they can’t pay their bills as a result of going to Mexico on vacations whenever possible, as a result of taking time off whenever possible, as a result of trying to rebuke the biblical law from Proverbs 10, 4 from the Bible. And so occasionally, I say occasionally, about twice a day we have a thriver from somewhere in the world who will reach out to us and say, hey, I really, really need help growing my business. And when we talk to these people, it’s amazing how quickly we can make huge impacts and changes in their business. If you’re an existing business owner, it’s amazing how quickly we can turn things around for you. So I’m going to play an audio clip from an attorney who’s been an attorney for over 20 years in New Orleans. And we’ve only worked with the guy for like a month. I think we’ve worked with the guy three weeks from the point this video was shot. Hear what he has to say about the Thrive Time Business Coach Program. My name is Christopher Schwartz. I’m an attorney from New Orleans, and I’ve been a client here for three weeks. I’ve heard of Thrive15.com through the web. I was searching for management companies, and I first came across Tony Robbins and I wasn’t really too sold on what he had to offer and I just searched some more and I saw Clay’s podcast and it looked somewhat interesting. For years I have worked with a marketing company, about four years now, and I have spent thousands monthly and they could never get me on the Google Maps. And then I was sent over and assigned to Marshall as my management consultant and he speaks to me Wednesday at 3 p.m. and we’ve covered so many topics. We have covered personnel questions, we have personnel manuals, we have talked about, you know, marketing and how to use the web and how to increase worker productivity at the office. So we’ve only, you know, I’ve had three sessions and I’ve already have shaken up things at my office. I’ve had zero success with prior companies. I could never speak to them. I could never see where they had their headquarters. I’m actually here at their headquarters for three weeks from being a client. You know, it’s huge. I’m excited about the marketing measurements and how to set up systems to increase productivity. I really have no systems and I really don’t control my marketing at all. So I’m excited about the future. I would definitely recommend Thrive. I have seen immediate results, and I’m a small business owner, Even non-lawyers would use these same kind of services. I think that business owners should see this as a one-stop shop. This is huge. I mean, you have your marketing, your management, your accounting. It’s just completely all-inclusive. The fees, $1,500 a month. have to hire a personnel company to draft me an employment manual and job descriptions. I don’t have to hire a web designer. I don’t have to hire a CPA to set up accounting systems. This is like I have a weekly coaching session. So it keeps this all in my head fresh still. So I am excited. Thrivers, you heard it right there, direct from an attorney in New Orleans. You can absolutely have success in business this year. It’s not like setting fire to the rain. Stay tuned. My name is Clay Clark. You’re listening to the Thrive Time Show on Talk Radio 1170. Incredible wife, kids, gather around the kitchen table. I’ve got two weeks of vacation coming. And we can go anywhere. We can go to Disney World. We can go to Tulsa! Home of the blue whale? Home of the Josh’s snow cones? The snow cone stand? Kids, get in the van! We gotta get in the van! We’re going to Tulsa! I want to welcome everybody to the 918 Place known for soft farms and tornadoes, it’s great! Belt buckle up the Bible Belt and the home of QT. Home of Garth Brooks and Dr. Z. Birthplace of Carrie Underwood and ORU. Where people love Jesus and the handguns too. If you like the barbecue, then we like you. Buy a ticket, short trip is long overdue. Tulsa tourism, there’s a wild pot. The following message was brought to you by the International Tulsa Spot Farm Tourism Bureau. Committed to bringing green side up tours to people like you. Oh wow, wow. Thrivers, hopefully you appreciated my shameless attempt to bring tourism to Tulsa. And in many ways, we’re actually doing that. Our in-person workshops are being attended by people who live in California, people who live in Toronto, people who live in Florida. We’ve had Phoenix, Arizona, Tucson, Arizona. I think I just said Las Vegas. We’ve had Missouri. A lot of people from Missouri. A lot of people from Texas attend the workshops. Tennessee. workshops, Tennessee, the Thrive World Headquarters is becoming a destination for entrepreneurs all around the world just like you. Because they’re beginning to spread the word that Dr. Z and I have been able to build 13 multi-million dollar businesses, not because we’re geniuses, but because we understand the proven path. And not only do we understand the proven path, we’ve actually distilled it into a 13-point, step-by-step system that you can actually apply in your life. And today we’re talking about living a counter-cultural existence to produce success. Concept number one you must embrace is that success is not normal. If you want to have success, be ready for everybody around you to say that you’re a workaholic. Be ready for them to say, All you do is work. All youre focused on is just growing your business, but what about your family? Be ready for them to attack your diligence, your sincerity, your focus, your purpose. Be ready for them to attack anything that allows you to become successful. Be ready for them to attack you waking up early. Be ready for them to attack you firing people that do a horrible job at their job. Be ready for them to attack you for raising prices. Be ready for them to attack you for not allowing family members to be your marketing team. Just be ready for people to attack you for anything because success is not normal. Concept number two, saying yes to positive people requires you to say no to negative people. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. That was such a negative statement there. You’re talking about positive figs and then you’re saying negative figs. So saying yes to positive people requires you to say no to negative people. Someone should say that back one more time. Saying yes to positive people requires you to say no to negative people. You should probably tweet that to somebody, Facebook that to somebody. You should probably share that with somebody. I will just tell you as an entrepreneur, you cannot have thermometer partners. You cannot be a partner, you can’t have partners that are thermometer partners to grow something big. Thermometer partners are people that just tell you what’s going on, what’s going wrong, but not providing you any solutions. A thermostat has the ability to change the temperature of any given temperature in a room. A thermostat, you go into an apartment. I remember when my wife and I used to live in an apartment complex over there at 67th and Lewis. It was right behind the Marriott Hotel in that area. We couldn’t afford air conditioning. If we adjusted that thermostat, if we tried to make it colder, it wouldn’t get colder because we didn’t pay the bill. We didn’t set it up. You know, and so we were sweating all the time. Here we were in August, in July, in June, sweating because we took the money that we were going to spend on our yellow page ads and we spent that, um, I’m sorry, we took the money we were going to spend on our air conditioning. We took the money we were going to spend on our, on our air conditioning and we put that into our yellow pages. You know, the sales aren’t going very good right now. Your network absolutely is your net worth. Because the people around you, man, if they start to say negative things to you, Carlton Pearson, one of my mentors and a former televangelist, obviously he and I do not agree religiously anymore, but he once told me, he says, you don’t spell words. I promise you they will take you down, they will suck your energy, they will suck your joy, they will kill your faith, and you will find yourself trying to lift them up, but you can’t. So without any further ado, I’m going to cue up the audio clip, but I want you to listen to his experience of his in-person Thrive Time workshop. My name is Stephen Koehl. I’m from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Right now, I have a law practice, and so that’s my area of business. I heard about the Thrive Time conference through a radio program here locally. I was looking forward to learning about how can I propel my business to set my businesses apart from other law practices, other businesses in the same industry. What I’ve learned so far is practical steps to set my business apart from other businesses in the same industry, in this case legal services, and I’m getting practical steps on how to do that. The workshop is just really casual yet professional and it’s kind of entertaining but gives you some practical ideas and steps on what to do. Really helps navigate you on propelling yourself to the next level. The presentation is great, it’s captivating, it’s entertaining, it’s practical and it’s just really a lot of good information. It’s a great atmosphere, you have a lot of people that really want to succeed. They want to see you succeed as well. So it’s a really great company to be in. With this conference, there’s no staleness. It’s really exciting and it really gives you some practical ideas on how to make yourself a better business person and how to create other businesses. If you decide not to attend this conference, I think you’re missing out on success. You need a plan on how to succeed, and attending this conference will help get you there. But today we’re talking about how to live a countercultural existence to produce success. Bottom line, if you want to have success in your life, you’re going to have to live a countercultural existence. Because according to Forbes, 70% of people hate their jobs. Guys, I’m not making this up. You should Google this. 70%. Check it out on Google. Research it. Find the facts. Find where they cited it. 70% of employees hate their jobs. That’s crazy, crazy. Eight out of 10 entrepreneurs are gonna go out of business, according to Forbes. Eight out of 10 businesses are going to go out of business. So if you’re going to change your life, you have to change your schedule. You gotta change what you put in your schedule. And according to John Maxwell, He says, you will never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine. Someone wants us to bring that back. Someone wants us to replay that real quick. So here we go. Pick it, pick it, John Maxwell. Concept number three, most people hate their jobs so much, they don’t really look forward to the weekend. Most entrepreneurs that I know, most top-level successful entrepreneurs love their jobs. They have found a way to weave in their family and their kids and their business and their life all into one awesome week. They love every day. They wake up on Monday excited to go to work. They’re pumped up to go to work and because of this they love what they do. But the average person lives for the weekend. They don’t like their week and they just wait for the weekend. And this is unfortunately why 70% of people, according to Forbes, hate their jobs. And so if you like your job and you love what you do and you’re passionate about growing your business and earning more, learning more, figuring out how to provide more for your family, most people say, what’s your problem? Why are you obsessed about your business? You’re a workaholic, Greg. All you ever do is work all the time. How come you’re always obsessed about your business? It’s because you freaking care, right? You really care. But most people don’t understand what it’s like to care about their job because their job is just one compartment of their life that they’re not passionate about. And so if you’re going to become successful just understand that most people around you don’t like their jobs. In fact, according to Forbes, 70% of them hate their jobs. And so if you are currently an employer, get ready for this hot take, this notable quotable coming at you hot from Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple Computers. He says, be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren’t used to an environment where excellence is expected. In fact, I would argue that most people aren’t used to an environment where excellence is expected. However, occasionally we have some people who attend our in-person Thrive Time workshops who will tell us, they say, it’s crazy, but like everyone at the workshop was kind of like me. I feel like I’ve found my tribe. I feel like I’m surrounded by people that actually get what it’s like to wake up at 5 a.m. every day. I finally feel like I’m surrounded by people that understand my daily work ethic, my daily grind, what it takes for me to become successful. I finally feel like I’m meeting a peer group of other entrepreneurs, of like-minded entrepreneurs, people that share my values, my faith, and my goals. I’m going to play you an audio clip from a Thriver who recently attended our August workshop. You can hear his experience at our workshop. If you’ve not booked your tickets yet for our September event, go to Thrivetimeshow.com right now to book those tickets. Thrivetimeshow.com. We’ve still got about 50 tickets left. We would love to meet you, love to see you, and I know it’s going to sell out and just this is your time my friend. This is your time to change your life. We can’t help you if we don’t see you at our workshop. Without any further ado, here’s an audio clip from a Thrive Time Show workshop attendee. My name is Paul Mignot. I’m originally from Northern California. Currently, I live here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I own a construction company. Specifically, we provide reinforcing steel placement for concrete companies. What I love most about this workshop is the high energy, the fun atmosphere. It’s both laid back and serious at the same time. I just really enjoyed it. I would describe this atmosphere as my tribe. It’s a bunch of like-minded individuals, entrepreneurs, future entrepreneurs, just all around a great environment. The Thrive Time Show conference is different than any other conference I’ve been to. It’s very unique, very laid back, funny, fun, high energy, fast paced. I just really enjoy it. Oh, he said he had fun, it was funny, it was fast paced. What? Thrive Nation, this is the kind of conversations that we’re having with real thrivers after each and every workshop. And it’s because people are coming to these workshops and finding a tribe of people just like them who share their values, their goals, and this life as an entrepreneur. Because if you are going to be successful as an entrepreneur, you have to understand that you are living a counter-cultural existence. We move on to concept number four. The world is going to label you a workaholic. If you are successful as an entrepreneur, get ready for the world to call you an alcoholic. You know that Bill Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft, he was once interviewed and the question was asked, what are your keys to success? What did you do that allowed you to have a disproportionate amount of success when most people never have success? What’s your tip? What’s your secret? Just give us the move, Mr. Bill Gates.” This is what Bill Gates said to a group of people. This is fairly profound. He says, I never took a day off in my 20s, not one. And I’m still fanatical, but now I’m a little less fanatical. Now compare this to Inc. Magazine’s study, Inc. magazine, studied that the average American employee wastes two hours of every work day. So Inc. magazine is saying that the average person is wasting two hours a day, which comes out to basically one full day a week, whereas Bill Gates said, I never took a day off in my 20s, not one. And I’m still fanatical, but now I’m a little less fanatical. Thrivers, we do this radio show, this radio show every single day. We have notable quotables, we’ve got downloadables. By the way, if you go to thrivetimeshow.com and you click on the podcast button, when you go up there, you’re going to see that we have show notes now for all of the different shows we do. It just takes a second and it’ll change your whole game. But the Thrivetimeshow, all the notes are up there on the podcast player there at Thrivetimeshow.com. Well they don’t just get there, right? I mean the show notes don’t just appear. Somebody has to research each and every show and that somebody would be myself and my team I’m not sure if you’re aware of this, but for every hour that we’re on the air We spend about two hours of show prep so I Personally in prepping for almost two hours per hour of recorded content So the show’s a two-hour show so we’re doing almost four hours of prep. I’m personally doing four hours of prep for every show that we have. Well, if you realize that we do two hours live every day, that’s six hours that I’m committing to this show every single day. And I do that because you deserve audio excellence, you deserve specific practical training, and you deserve to have the best radio show experience on the planet. There’s no shortcuts. And so people might say I’m a workaholic, but I’m committed to you, and I know you’re committed to me. And I ask you one favor. Go to Thrivetimeshow.com today and sign up for our podcast. That way you will never miss an archived broadcast. I’m telling you what, my friends. You need to sign up for the Thrivetimeshow podcast today. Stay tuned. My name is Clay Clark. You’re listening to the Thrivetimeshow Business Coach Radio Show. In my heart I just believe that there’s no proof I think about the chorus, the melody’s important But nothing sounds sweeter than the truth Yeah, I’m a shy young man with a real big heart I still haven’t found where I belong. But you know, my sweet Lord, give me just one thing, darling. I know how to write one hell of a song. I know how to write one hell of a song. Alright, Thrive Nation, welcome back into the conversation. My name is Clay Clark, and you have found your new favorite radio show. If you’re listening to us for the first time, it is the Thrive Time Business Coach Radio Show where essentially Dr. Zellner and I, between the two of us, we have built 13 multi-million dollar businesses. And what we do is we take a time out from running our normal businesses during the work day and we hop on the radio for two hours a day to really just harass you, but also to teach you the proven path that we have learned and have gone through to build our successful companies. Because success is really not a matter of luck. It’s a matter of two things. One, do you know the proven path? I mean, if you’re doing the wrong path and you’re working diligently and persistently and you have the right mindset and you have all that going for you, but you’re doing a path that won’t get you there, that’s not going to ever produce fruit in your life. That’s sowing the wrong kind of seeds that are not on fertile ground. That’s like you sowing apple seeds on concrete. However, if you know the proven path, but you don’t implement the diligence needed to sow the seeds, then that also won’t work. So you have to know the path, and you have to have the diligence needed to implement what you’re learning. And today we’re talking about how success is really learning to live a counter-cultural existence. In order for you to produce success in your life, you really have to have a counter-cultural mindset or approach to your day. Because according to John Maxwell, the best-selling author, he once wrote here, and I want to read this to you. This is from 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership. He says, you will never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine. Well, okay, so if you know what to do but you don’t schedule it into your day timer, then you probably won’t have success. So again, we’re recapping the moves. Concept number one is success is not normal. According to Forbes, eight out of ten entrepreneurs are going to fail, according to Gallup and Forbes teaming up there. 70% of your employees hate their jobs. So if you are listening right now and you have a job, chances are, I know everyone listening to this show loves their jobs, but other people, 70% of people hate their jobs and 8 out of 10 businesses fail. 63% of Americans, according to Forbes, don’t have enough money saved to cover an emergency. So what you have to realize today is that success is absolutely not normal. Concept number two, you must say yes to positive people, and that’s going to require you to say no to negative people. If you are not comfortable with changing the people that you’re around, then it is going to be tough for you to have success. It’s just going to be tough. And Benjamin Franklin, you’re like, Benjamin Franklin? Are you really referencing Benjamin Franklin? Yeah, Benjamin Franklin, he was sort of a big deal. Maybe you’re not familiar with Benjamin Franklin. Some of you maybe are. You say, isn’t that the guy who invented the skullet, where it’s kind of like having a mullet, but you have no hair on top? True, but let me give you some Benjamin Franklin factoids. Benjamin Franklin was born in 1706 and he passed away in 1790. But he’s also the guy who introduced the Franklin stove. You’re saying, no, I’m not impressed. Okay. The poor Richard’s Almanac, not impressed. Really one of the first functional libraries, not impressed. The Philadelphia’s Union Fire Company, still not impressed. Okay. He went over to do a little negotiations and if it weren’t for his negotiations that he did with the French, we probably would have not had the money and the resources needed to have won the war. You know, the war versus the British. I’m kind of impressed. Okay, well he at age 42 retired from business. He was able to work on other things at the age of 42. Okay, I’m a little more impressed. Okay, and he actually helped to draft the Declaration of Independence. Okay, fine. I’m impressed So what does he have to say? Benjamin Franklin says this he says he that lies down with dogs. So rise shall rise up with fleas He that lies down with dogs shall rise up with fleas. Is this an anti dog book? Is this what he’s saying? No, check it out back when I was building my DJ company, DJConnection.com. I really, really wanted to help people. I still do want to help people, but I have a little different philosophy. But I wanted to help everybody. Every employee was like a mission field. Man, I wanted to help them become the next entrepreneur. I wanted to help them get their life together. I actually would sit down with these guys for coffee, for lunch, investing into their lives, trying to help them become a successful human, trying to teach them the moves. And occasionally, you know, it would actually happen. Someone would say that their life was changed as a result of working there. The problem was, though, I was taking time that I could have been spending with my wife and my kids, and I was investing it into the lives of young men, most of which who grew up to screw me and to start a company that directly competed with me as a way of saying thank you. Apparently they’re from a different culture where what you do is to thank somebody. What you want to do is you want to basically try to take all their customers. Now in all cases, I want you to know Thrive Nation, they’re all failing financially. They’re all having bad things happen in their personal lives. I can’t say I’m happy about it. But I can say that the vengeance that the Lord rains down is always a little more intense than anything I could have come up with. Have you ever thought about that concept before, Thrivers? The vengeance of the Lord? A lot of times people want to take justice into their own hands and they want to fight and they want to try to right all the wrongs. Well, if you try to do that, the problem with that is that you end up getting to a place in your life where you’ve spent all of your time running around trying to right the wrongs of the world and you find that you can’t do it and you expend a lot of energy. I think you’re going to like this song it’s called Rise and Grind. I wrote it for myself for my 37th birthday as a way to encourage myself to keep doing that which has made me successful and uh sometimes you need to sometimes you need to encourage yourself don’t you right so here we go 3, 2, 1, BOOM! Frick! What time is it? Where are my pants? Blah! Aw yes! It’s time to rise and grind! Aw yes! Before the rooster crows! Aw yes! It’s time to rise and grind! Aw yes! I wake up at 3 to get it all done! Money on my mind and my watch number one! Count the cultural cause I am a Christian In it for the ball game or nothing Get rich quick nah, I don’t do it But if you got a real good I’ll help you pursue it Like Bobby Snyder I’ll be saying you can do it You can do it, you can do it You have to seize the day, Carpe Diem son You ever wanna make them Benjamin Success requires self discipline Self discipline, self discipline I just said it three times in a row Cause if you’re looking for a real hero You gotta look into me and my bro Will you be a victim or a victor? I think we’re missing it all, how bizarre The resources you need aren’t there involved You gotta get three jobs like I once did Target Applebee’s and direct TV Which meant I never watched TV Cause I was on my grind like a 2-3 Or like that 12 to the TB Do you feel man, like a pet? Ain’t as dude, stick to your goals like glue Like 80 hours per week? Pursue, and I am straight to the serious Because I ain’t smoking delirious I’m aware of cause and effect, and I know that your life could be wrecked Or your life could be good and great, so what will you do today? Will you fill the schedule with nothingness, or the middle with somethingness? What you’re waiting for, Santa and an elf, this just in You could be hoping you’re safe, say no to the handouts, cause they hurt your pride Or you could be out working the other guy, what? Or you could be out working the other guy, who? Or you could be out working the other guy. Yes, oh yes, it’s time to rise and grind. Oh yes, before the rooster crows. Oh yes, it’s time to rise and grind. Oh yes, everybody sing it now. Oh yes, oh yes, it’s time to rise and grind. Oh yes, before the rooster crows. Oh yes, it’s time to rise and grind. Oh yes. Uh, uh, uh. First two get short and life is two. We better get started cause there’s no redo. 38, 80, great, I’m half dead, dude. I’m half dead, dude. Well, hell’s bells. I’m going to go take a nap. Hey, Clay Clark and my Thrive peeps. Steve Carrington, as you can tell. Although I’m not wearing my signature green shirt, as usual, but I am riding in my signature green Lamborghini and I just wanted to say how appreciative I am of Thrive and all the guys at Thrive Time and the show and everything that you guys have done. At Total Ending Concepts we have had tremendous growth and a lot of things changing, especially on the marketing front and from a coaching perspective and from a web presence and branding and our our internet leads are up, everything is hammering on all cylinders and really we’re just trying to figure out how we can leverage the systems and the processes that we’re learning at Thrive more in our business. So now we’re setting up a lead tracking system that has been long overdue and we’re doing lots of stuff but I want to take a minute and say thank you, thank you, thank you to Thrive and Clay Clark and Dr. Z and everybody for all the help in helping us grow our business and hopefully buy more Lamborghinis like this the more we sell. So appreciate it guys. See ya. Hello, my name is Charles Colaw with Colaw Fitness. Today I want to tell you a little bit about Clay Clark and how I know Clay Clark. Clay Clark has been my business coach since 2017. He’s helped us grow from two locations to now six locations. We’re planning to do seven locations in seven years and then franchise. Clay has done a great job of helping us navigate anything that has to do with running the business, building the systems, the checklists, the workflows, the audits, how to navigate lease agreements, how to buy property, how to work with brokers and builders. This guy is just amazing. He’s, this kind of guy has worked in every single industry. He’s written books with like Lee Crockrell, head of Disney with the 40,000 cast members. He’s friends with like Mike Lindell. He does Reawaken America tours where he does these tours all across the country where 10,000 or more people show up to some of these tours on the day-to-day. He does anywhere from about 160 companies. He’s at the top. He has a team of business coaches videographers And graphic designers and web developers and they run 160 companies every single week So think of this guy with a team of business coaches running 160 companies. So in the weekly, he’s running a hundred and sixty companies Every six to eight weeks. He’s doing reawaken America tours every six to eight weeks He’s also doing business conferences where 200 people show up and he teaches people a 13 step proven system that he’s done and worked with billionaires, helping them grow their companies. I’ve seen guys from start-ups go from start-up to being multi-millionaires, teaching people how to get time freedom and financial freedom through the system. Critical thinking, document creation, making it, putting it into, organizing everything in their head to building it into a franchisable, scalable business. One of his businesses has like 500 franchises. That’s just one of the companies or brands that he works with. So, amazing guy. Elon Musk, kind of like smart guy. He kind of comes off sometimes as socially awkward, but he’s so brilliant and he’s taught me so much. When I say that, Clay is like, he doesn’t care what people think when you’re talking to him. He cares about where you’re going in your life and where he can get you to go. That’s what I like him most about him. He’s like a good coach. A coach isn’t just making you feel good all the time. A coach is actually helping you get to the best you. Clay has been an amazing business coach. Through the course of that, we became friends. I was really most impressed with him is when I was shadowing him one time. We went into a business deal and listened to it. I got to shadow and listen to it. When we walked out, I knew that he could make millions on the deal. And they were super excited about working with him. And he told me, he’s like, I’m not gonna touch it, I’m gonna turn it down. Because he knew it was gonna harm the common good of people in the long run. And the guy’s integrity just really wowed me. It brought tears to my eyes to see that this guy, his highest desire was to do what’s right. And anyways, just an amazing man. So anyways, impacted me a lot. He’s helped navigate any time I’ve gotten nervous or worried about how to run the company or navigating competition and an economy that’s, I remember we got closed down for three months. He helped us navigate on how to stay open, how to get back open, how to just survive through all the COVID shutdowns, lockdowns, because our clubs were all closed for three months and you have $350,000 of bills you’ve got to pay and we have no accounts receivable. He helped us navigate that. And of course we were conservative enough that we could afford to take that on for a period of time. But he was a great man. I’m very impressed with him. So Clay, thank you for everything you’re doing. And I encourage you, if you haven’t ever worked with Clay, work with Clay, he’s gonna help magnify you. And there’s nobody I have ever met that has the ability to work as hard as he does. He probably sleeps four, maybe six hours a day and literally the rest of the time he’s working and he can outwork everybody in the room every single day and he loves it. So anyways, this is Charles Kola with Kola Fitness. Thank you Clay and anybody out there that’s wanting to work with Clay. It’s a great, great opportunity to ever work with him. So you guys have a blessed one. This is Charles Kola. We’ll see you guys. Bye bye. Gentlemen, let me introduce you to the grill gun. Oh! Hi, I’m Bob Healy. I’m the inventor of the grill gun and the civi gun. Tim Tebow is coming to Tulsa, Oklahoma June 27th and 28th. We’ve been doing business conferences here since 2005. I’ve been hosting business conferences since 2005. And a lot of people, you know, have followed Tim Tebow’s football career on the field and off the field. And off the field, the guy’s been just as successful as he has been on the field. Now, the big question is, JT, how does he do it? Well, they’re going to have to come and find out, because I don’t know. Well, I’m just saying, Tim Tebow’s going to teach us how he organizes his day, how he organizes his life, how he’s proactive with his faith, his family, his finances. He’s going to walk us through his mindset that he brings into the gym, into business. It is going to be a blasty blast in Tulsa, Russia. Also, this is the first Thrive Time Show event that we’ve had where we’re going to have a man who has built a $100 million net worth. Wow. Who’ll be presenting. Now, we’ve had a couple of presenters that have had a billion dollar net worth in some real estate sort of things. But this is the first time we’ve had a guy who’s built a service business, and he’s built over $100 million net worth in the service business. It’s the yacht-driving, multi-state living guru of franchising. Peter Taunton will be in the house. This is the founder of Snap Fitness, the guy behind Nine Round Boxing. He’s going to be here in Tulsa, Russia, Oklahoma, June 27 and 28. JT, why should everybody want to hear what Peter Tauton has to say? Because he’s incredible. He’s just a fountain of knowledge. He is awesome. He has inspired me listening to him talk. And not only that, he also has, he practices what he teaches. So he’s a real teacher. He’s not a fake teacher like business school teachers. So you’ve got to come learn from him. And now the best-selling author of The Carnivore Diet and the multiple-time Joe Rogan guest, Dr. Sean Baker, joins our two day interactive business growth and life optimization workshop. Also, let me tell you this, folks. I don’t get this wrong, because if I get it wrong, someone’s going to say, you screwed that up, buddy. So Michael Levine, this is Michael Levine. He’s going to be coming. He said, who’s Michael Levine? I don’t get this wrong. This is the PR consultant of choice for Michael Jackson, for Prince, for Nike, for Charlton Heston, for Nancy Kerrigan, 34 Grammy Award winners, 43 New York Times bestselling authors he’s represented, including pretty much everybody you know who’s been a super celebrity. This is Michael Levine, a good friend of mine. He’s going to come and talk to you about personal branding and the mindset needed to be super successful. The lineup will continue to grow. We have hit Christian reporting artist Colton Dixon in the house. Now people say, Colton Dixon’s in the house? Yes, Colton Dixon’s in the house. So if you like top 40 Christian music, Colton Dixon’s gonna be in the house performing. The lineup will continue to grow each and every day. We’re gonna add more and more speakers to this all-star lineup, but I encourage everybody out there today, get those tickets today. Go to thrivetimeshow.com. Again, that’s thrivetimeshow.com. And some people might be saying, well, how do I do it? I don’t know what I do. How does it work? You just go to thrivetimeshow.com. Let’s go there now. We’re feeling the flow. We’re going to thrivetimeshow.com. Thrive is cool. And you just go to thrivetimeshow.com. You click on the Business Conferences button, and you click on the Request Tickets button right there. The way I do our conferences is we tell people it’s $250 to get a ticket or whatever price that you can afford. And the reason why I do that is I grew up without money. You can learn the proven 13 point business system that Dr. Zellner and I have used over and over to start and grow successful companies. We get into the specifics, the specific steps on what you need to do to optimize your website. We’re going to teach you how to fix your conversion rate. We’re going to teach you how to do a social media marketing campaign that works. How do you raise capital? How do you get a small business loan? We teach you everything you need to know here during a two-day 15-hour workshop. It’s all here for you. You work every day in your business, but for two days you can escape and work on your business and build these proven systems so now you can have a successful company that will produce both the time freedom and the financial freedom that you deserve. You’re gonna leave energized, motivated, but you’re also gonna leave empowered. The reason why I built these workshops is because as an entrepreneur I always wish that I had this. And because there wasn’t anything like this, I would go to these motivational seminars, no money down, real estate, Ponzi scheme, get motivated seminars, and they would never teach me anything. It was like you went there and you paid for the Edith Bick chocolate Easter bunny, but inside of it, it was a hollow nothingness. And I wanted the knowledge, and they’re like, oh, but we’ll teach you the knowledge after our next workshop. And the great thing is we have nothing to upsell. At every workshop, we teach you what you need to know. There’s no one in the back of the room trying to sell you some next big get-rich-quick, walk-on hot coals product. It’s literally, we teach you the brass tacks, the specific stuff that you need to know to learn how to start and grow a business. I encourage you to not believe what I’m saying. I want you to Google the Z66 auto auction. I want you to Google elephant in the room. Look at Robert Zellner and Associates. Look them up and say, are they successful because they’re geniuses? Or are they successful because they have a proven system? When you do that research, you will discover that the same systems that we use in our own business can be used in your business. Come to Tulsa, book a ticket, and I guarantee you it’s going to be the best business workshop ever, and we’re going to give you your money back if you don’t love it. We’ve built this facility for you, and we’re excited to see it. And now you may be thinking, what does it actually cost to attend an in-person, two-day, interactive, Thrive Time Show business workshop? Well, good news, the tickets are $250 or whatever price that you can afford. What? Yes, they’re $250 or whatever price you can afford. I grew up without money and I know what it’s like to live without money. So if you’re out there today and you want to attend our in-person two-day interactive business workshop, all you got to do is go to Thrivetimeshow.com to request those tickets. And if you can’t afford $250, we have scholarship pricing available to make it affordable for you. I learned at the Academy at King’s Point in New York, acta non verba. Watch what a person does, not what they say. Good morning, good morning, good morning. Harvard Kiyosaki, The Rich Dad Radio Show. Today I’m broadcasting from Phoenix, Arizona, not Scottsdale, Arizona. They’re close, but they’re completely different worlds. And I have a special guest today. Definition of intelligence is if you agree with me, you’re intelligent. And so this gentleman is very intelligent. I’ve done this show before also, but very seldom do you find somebody who lines up on all counts. And so Mr. Clay Clark is a friend of a good friend, Eric Trump. But we’re also talking about money, bricks, and how screwed up the world can get in a few and a half hour. So Clay Clark is a very intelligent man, and there’s so many ways we could take this thing. But I thought, since you and Eric are close, Trump, what were you saying about what Trump can’t, what Donald, who’s my age, and I can say or cannot say? Well, I have to, first of all, I have to honor you, sir. I want to show you what I did to one of your books here. There’s a guy named Jeremy Thorne who was my boss at the time. I was 19 years old working at Faith Highway. I had a job at Applebee’s Target and Direct TV. He said, have you read this book Rich Dad Poor Dad? I said no. My father, may he rest in peace, he didn’t know these financial principles. I started reading all of your books and really devouring your books. I went from being an employee to self-employed to the business owner to the investor. I owe a lot of that to you. And I just wanted to take a moment to tell you, thank you so much for allowing me to achieve success. And I’ll tell you all about Eric Trump. I just want to tell you, thank you, sir, for changing my life. Well, not only that, Clay, you know, thank you, but you’ve become an influencer. You know, more than anything else, you’ve evolved into an influencer where your word has more and more power. So that’s why I congratulate you on becoming. Because as you know, there’s a lot of fake influencers out there, or bad influencers. Yeah. Anyway, I’m glad you and I agree so much, and thanks for reading my books. Yeah. That’s the greatest thrill for me today. Not thrill, but recognition is when people, young men especially, come up and say, I read your book, changed my life, I’m doing this, I’m doing this, I’m doing this. I learned at the Academy at Kings Point in New York, acta non verba. Watch what a person does, not what they say. Whoa! Hey, I’m Ryan Wimpey. I’m originally from Tulsa, born and raised here. I went to a small private liberal arts college and got a degree in business and I didn’t learn anything like they’re teaching here. I didn’t learn linear workflows. I learned stuff that I’m not using and I haven’t been using for the last nine years. So, what they’re teaching here is actually way better than what I got at business school. And I went what was actually ranked as a very good business school. The linear workflow. The linear workflow for us in getting everything out on paper and documented is really important. We have workflows that are kind of all over the place, so having linear workflow and seeing that mapped out on multiple different boards is pretty awesome. That’s really helpful for me. The atmosphere here is awesome. I definitely just stared at the walls figuring out how to make my facility look like this place. This place rocks. It’s invigorating. The walls are super, it’s just very cool. The atmosphere is cool. The people are nice. It’s a pretty cool place to be. Very good learning atmosphere. I literally want to model it and steal everything that’s here at this facility and basically create it just on our business side. Once I saw what they were doing I knew I had to get here at the conference. This is probably the best conference or seminar I’ve ever been to in over 30 years of business. You’re not bored, you’re awake, you’re alive the whole time. It’s not pushy, they don’t try to sell you a bunch of things. I was looking to learn how to just get control of my life, my schedule, and just get control of business. Planning your time, breaking it all down, making time for the F6 in your life, and just really implementing it and sticking with the program. It’s really lively, they’re pretty friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. I attended a conference a couple months back, and it was really the best business conference I’ve ever attended. At the workshop, I learned a lot about time management, really prioritizing what’s the most important. Biggest takeaways are you want to take a step-by-step approach to your business, whether it’s marketing, what are those three marketing tools that you want to use, to human resources. Some of the most successful people and successful businesses in this town, their owners were here today because they wanted to know more from Clay and I found that to be kind of fascinating. The most valuable thing that I’ve learned is diligence. That businesses don’t change overnight. It takes time and effort and you’ve got to go through the ups and downs of getting it to where you want to go. He actually gives you the road map out. I was stuck, didn’t know what to do and he gave me the roadmap out step by step. We’ve set up systems in the business that make my life much easier, allow me some time freedom. Here you can ask any question you want, they guarantee it will be answered. This conference motivates me and also gives me a lot of knowledge and tools. Everybody can do these things. There’s stuff that everybody knows, but if you don’t do it, nobody else is going to do it for you. I can see the marketing working. It’s just an approach that makes sense. Probably the most notable thing is just the income increase that we’ve had. Everyone’s super fun and super motivating. I’ve been here before, but I’m back again because it motivates me. Your competition’s going to come eventually, or try to pick up these tactics. So you better, if you don’t, somebody else will. I’m Rachel with Tip Top K9, and we just want to give a huge thank you to Clay and Vanessa Clark. Hey guys, I’m Ryan with Tip Top K9. Just want to say a big thank you to Thrive 15. Thank you to Make Your Life Epic. We love you guys, we appreciate you, and really just appreciate how far you’ve taken us. This is our old house. Right, this is where we used to live two years ago. This is our old neighborhood. See? Nice, right? So this is my old van and our old school marketing. And this is our old team. And by team, I mean it’s me and another guy. This is our new house with our new neighborhood. This is our new van with our new marketing and this is our new team. We went from four to fourteen and I took this beautiful photo. We worked with several different business coaches in the past and they were all about helping Ryan sell better and just teaching sales, which is awesome, but Ryan is a really great salesman, so we didn’t need that. We needed somebody to help us get everything that was in his head out into systems, into manuals and scripts and actually build a team. So now that we have systems in place, we’ve gone from one to 10 locations in only a year. In October 2016, we grossed 13 grand for the whole month. Right now it’s 2018, the month of October. It’s only the 22nd, we’ve already grossed a little over 50 grand for the whole month and we still have time to go. We’re just thankful for you, thankful for Thrive and your mentorship, and we’re really thankful that you guys have helped us to grow a business that we run now instead of the business running us. Just thank you, thank you, thank you, times a thousand. So we really just want to thank you, Clay, and thank you, Vanessa, for everything you’ve done, everything you’ve helped us with. We love you guys. If you decide to not attend the ThriveCon workshop, you’re missing out on a great opportunity. The Atmosphere plays office is very lively. You can feel the energy as soon as you walk through the door, and it really got me and my team very excited. If you decide not to come, you’re missing out on an opportunity to grow your business, bottom line. Love the environment. I love the way that Clay presents and teaches. It’s a way that not only allows me to comprehend what’s going on, but he explains it in a way to where it just makes sense. The SEO optimization, branding, marketing. I’ve learned more in the last two days than I have the entire four years of college. The most valuable thing that I’ve learned, marketing is key, marketing is everything. Making sure that you’re branded accurately and clearly. How to grow a business using Google reviews and then just how to optimize our name through our website also. Helpful with a lot of marketing, search engine optimization, helping us really rank high in Google. The biggest thing I needed to learn was how to build my foundation, how to systemize everything and optimize everything, build my SEO. How to become more organized, more efficient. How to make sure the business is really there to serve me, as opposed to me constantly being there for the business. New ways of advertising my business, as well as recruiting new employees. Group interviews, number one. Before, we felt like we were held hostage by our employees. Group interviews has completely eliminated that, because you’re able to really find the people that would really be the best fit. Hands-on, how to hire people, how to deal with human resources, a lot about marketing, and overall, just how to structure the business, how it works for me, and also then how that can translate into working better for my clients. The most valuable thing I’ve learned here is time management. I like the one hour of doing your business is real critical if I’m going to grow and change. Play really teaches you how to navigate through those things and not only find freedom, but find your purpose in your business and find the purposes for all those other people that directly affect your business as well. Everybody. Everybody. Everyone. Everyone needs to attend the conference because you get an opportunity to see that it’s real. Hey, Flyover family, come join us June the 27th and 28th, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We’re going to be there with Clay Clark, an amazing group of individuals that have made such a difference in so many people’s lives. Do you want to increase your production in a job? Do you want to make more sales? Do you want to own your own business? Do you want to have breakthroughs financially? The key to that is knowledge. Clay Clark is anointed to help people in business. We’ve watched him over the last couple of years and we’ve been blown away. He’s part owner of over 160 businesses, $2.4 billion in sales. Before politics and the great reset came into Clay’s life, he had the number one rated Apple podcast. And he interviewed people like Anthony Robbins, Seth Godin, the top authors, the top business minds in the world. At this specific event, there was an interesting cast of characters that come from gangs to American Idol. Some of the guests that are going to be there, Michael Levine, Colton Dixon, Peter Taunton, John Lee Dumas, Mando De La Viga. And Tim Tebow. They’re there to share what they’ve done and their breakthroughs and what their story is. And then Clay lays his map of business success, calls the path for every person to follow. So you may be sitting there thinking, okay, okay, I get it, I get it, what do I have to go to thrive timeshow.com. When you get there, the tickets are $250 or whatever you can afford. Yes, you got that right. $250 or whatever you can afford. You can name your price. So there are no excuses. You have to join us there. There are only a few VIP tickets left, like David said, special dinner and special time with the speakers. That is $500 why they last. So $500 only a few left if you want a VIP ticket. We want to meet these speakers as well. So we got VIP. I want to meet Tim Tebow. I do too. The date is June the 27th and 28th, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Go to thrive timeshow.com to get your ticket. No more noise. Hey guys, Luke Erickson here with the Thrive Time Show. As you can see behind me, we’ve got all kinds of energy going on. People are starting to show up for the conference and it is hot in this place. We’ve got grill guns over here, we’ve got people playing the drums, we’ve got a fire breather, and man, people are so excited as they come in. We’ve got Eric Anzis, the shop owner, up there. We’ve got Steve Curry, Tim, the total entity concept’s up there. Talking about what is possible when you just implement, when you implement, when you do the improvements. It’s so exciting. People are going crazy. Now Michael Levine, writer of many, many PR books, a man who represented people like Michael Jackson, Arbor Street, George Bush, Stanley Pines, speaking to people here at our conference, talking about branding. One of the greatest branding experts alive today is here at our conference, talking to entrepreneurs. We just wrapped up day one. It was incredible. We had some remarkable speakers. Michael Levine. We just finished with a lady named Jill Donovan who owns a company called Rusted Cuff talking about the power of the Dream 100. I cannot wait to see what tomorrow holds. Hey guys, Luke Harrison with the Thrive Time Show here with you. It is day two and the energy is high. People are so excited to be showing up. The team is ready. Come on, let’s see what it’s like to go on in for day two. Follow me. I’ll tell you what, people are so excited to be here for day two. It is going to be incredible. Cannot wait to see what today has in store. Right now, here at the conference, we’ve broken into groups going over search engine optimization. I know for most of us, myself included, if you hear that term, you go, what is that? What does that mean? That’s too techy for me. Well, our experts are breaking it down for people so that you can clearly understand how to come up top in Google. It’s doable, it’s possible. Now we’re in the middle of a break and what we like to do is we like to give you as much tangible and relevant information from about the start of the hour for 45 minutes. Then we take approximately a 15 minute break to allow people to connect with other entrepreneurs around them, bathroom break, and also use this time to just really digest all of the good information that you’re receiving the whole time. Right behind me, we’ve got Bob with his grill gun melting an ice sculpture. It is awesome. The ice sculpture represents our life, right? It’s here for a time, but we all need to have the sense of urgency to implement the things that we’re learning so that we can make the most of the time that we have. We are outside, you can see a line behind me. What’s going on is that we partner with different companies to help them implement the proven systems over and over and over again. And one of those companies is Master Machine. And so what we like to do is partner with these companies to also help them give samples to other people as they come to the conference and truly get their name out. I just wanted to recap some of the amazing things that have happened today. We’ve had entrepreneurs like Paul Hood, the good CPAs. We’ve had Jill Donovan and Michael Levine come up. It just imparts so much wisdom and knowledge. We’ve got an incredible giveaway for one of the things that we love most about our business conferences is that we want every entrepreneur to leave with their questions answered. So what we do is we let them put the questions up on the board here so that they can ask their question is answered. Behind us, Clay Kilar is answering all the different questions that entrepreneurs have brought to the conference. Whenever someone comes here and starts to hear this information, especially for the first time, it just brings about so much anticipation of wanting to actually implement the proven systems and processes. And so Clay always wants to make sure that he answers all of their questions so that they’re the most set up to be able to go home and start an all-new life. And so Clay is a very good example of that. And so Clay is a very good example of that. And so Clay is a very good example of that. and they can answer all of your questions so that they’re the most set up business to be able to go home and start implementing. If you have any questions, email us at info at thrivetimeshare.com. Hello, I’m Wes Carter. I’m one of the shareholders at Winters and King. My favorite thing that Thrive has helped me accomplish here in our firm is thinking a little bit outside the box. They do SEO, they do printing, they help us with a lot of things from the day-to-day marketing for the firm, but they also help us think of things that as attorneys we probably wouldn’t normally think of that help us market our services to our clients. One of the things I love about working with Thrive is that they make it enjoyable to actually do work with them. It’s not dry, it’s usually fun, but it’s always very enjoyable and practical. They give me things and ideas that I can put into place. It’s not just some theoretical spiel that they give me. We get practical steps that we work on together to do my job better. So me personally, I would easily recommend Thrive 15 services to my friends, my families. I recommend them to my clients. I think they do a good job, they’re passionate, they care about their clients, and I think it’s actually a valuable service they provide to people that are in the business world. My name is Jeff Thomas. I’m originally from Atlanta, Georgia. It’s all about getting to the grindstone. It is about putting the, it’s one thing to have a specific vision or a dream, but knowledge without application isn’t knowledge at all. So that’s nothing. It’s really funny. The atmosphere is very lively. Everybody that is working for Clay is very upbeat and not tired, not sluggish, not complaining, not whining. They don’t have anything to do with those types of characteristics. It’s all about getting to the grind and having fun while you do it. I haven’t actually been to any conferences in the past, but what I will say from what I’ve seen on YouTube and what from other friends have told me is this isn’t like a motivational kind of thing such as, you know, hoo-hoo, rah-rah, it gets you motivated, but it’s like practical steps that if you do take them, which most people aren’t willing to do, then you will grow and you will achieve the specific things that you want. Well, for one thing, I will say that this isn’t necessarily for everyone. So if you’re not willing to work, this isn’t for you. But I will say that if you are willing to work and you’re just getting started but you have actually taken a step in that direction, then this will actually help you grow further exponentially than you could ever imagine. My name is Taylor Hall. I’m the general manager of the Tulsa Oilers professional hockey team. You know, our goal every night here at the BOK Center is to try to fill the seats with lots of people and create an exciting environment so when somebody comes to a game, they’ve really helped us in many, many ways. Website and graphic design and video production and a lot of things that go along. And a lot of businesses, including ours, doesn’t have a staff or a full-time videographer or graphic designer. But the biggest thing that we noticed was the needle mover. More sales, more attendance, more successes in business. We had a record year last season working with Clay for the first time. Our average attendance is higher than it’s ever been. So there was a lot of really cool things that we did and they worked. That’s the nice thing about working with Clay and the team over there. It’s just not one person you get the entire team. If you need video design and editing and production, they’ve got that. If you need graphic design, if you need some coaching, your sales people and call scripts, PR, they offer all that. Clay was instrumental in helping guiding us and getting us on the right track so that we could really raise the bar and become ultra successful. So it’s been an amazing experience for us. My name is Kaitlin. I own a tumbling gym called Justice Tumbling Company. Working with Clay is so helpful. Just being diligent with everything and making sure we execute our goals and really make things happen. It’s fun, it’s tight, it really gets you energized and going and just makes you really want to work. To get the momentum going, to really just get that buzz, really give you the energy to get up and make it happen. I’m Bob Healy. I’m in the charcoal grilling industry and the name of my business is Grillblazer. How will I apply what I’ve learned so far into my business? I’m actually a client that has a Tri15 and I learned so much from what I’m learning at this conference and my regular weekly attendance that it’s helping me establish the business and get it off the ground. Clay’s presentation style is just blatant disregard for what anybody wants. He just has fun. It’s him. Everything that you see is authentically Clay. It’s a great deal of fun. Everybody enjoys it. They know when you walk in, they think they’re coming into a carnival, and frankly they are. It’s just great fun. There’s not another conference like it. You don’t go to a carnival atmosphere and learn what they do here at the Pride Park. It’s great. The reason people should attend at least one of these conferences is because it’s common sense. And everybody’s fed an entire line about the way you should run a business, but until you actually experience running a business, which is, candidly, what you learn here, how to run a business, you don’t know what you’re doing. My name is Tyler Hastings, and this is my wife, Rachel. And our company is Delricht Research out of New Orleans. During our time working with Thrive, we’ve had numerous successes. When we first started, we were working with one physician. We had one research site. And we were seeing, on average, between 10 and 15 patients a week. Since working with Thrive in the last 18 months, we now have four research sites. We work with over five physicians, and on average we’re now seeing over 60 patients per week. Recently, we’ve been the top enroller worldwide in seven studies, which is just incredible considering where we were two years ago, 18 months ago. Thrive really differs from the other conferences that we’ve been to and the other kind of programs that we’ve been through because they actually really practice what they preach and they implement the same systems and the processes that they teach you about and they give you real-life examples that really work for them and show you with the training how to implement that yourself. For example, Tyler and I actually got the opportunity to come out to Tulsa and we’re fortunate enough that the Thrive team took us out to some of the businesses that they own and we really got to see in real life, real time, some of the systems and processes and it was just incredible. A real life example of some of the businesses and the things that they’re implementing. Having a coach is important to us. They act as not only an accountability factor, but they’re someone we can talk to on a daily basis as we go through the problems of running a business that inevitably come up. They always understand what we’re going through and they’re always there to help us or guide us through the problems that we experience. The best part of our experience working with Thrive has just been seeing our relationship grow. So at each step as our business grows, we know that they have something else to provide us with. They’ve got the resources, whether it be marketing, graphic design, website development, or even in accounting practices, maybe we need a new insurance policy. If they have someone they can connect us with or they have the direct resource we need to speak with for any of the problems we face. Someone’s thinking about signing up for the coaching program, I would highly recommend that they call in for a free 30-minute coaching session and see exactly what the team can do for you to speak with someone and let them know what you’re going through and I think you’ll find that regardless of what you need there’s someone there that can help you. Clay’s presentation style is very real and raw. It just gets real down to the bone of it and the real purpose of it. There’s no like fluffy vagueness about it, you know. So, he really gets to the point. I’m always reminded about how important it is to be intentional and to really, really pay attention to how you schedule your time and really honor it. Because whatever gets scheduled gets done. That’s what he said from Lee Copperl. So, just constantly Just constantly hearing that and getting reminded helps me to reinforce that in my own life. It always helps to get an outside perspective, and especially from a guy that’s run so many multi-million dollar businesses, it doesn’t hurt. My name is Nick Guajardo. I heard about the Thrive Time Show workshop through Andy Mathren. He is my, Andy Mathren and Larry Montgomery, they’re my bosses at Restore Home Health. So I work with a home health company called Restore Home Health and my role is pretty much to bring in business. So I was hoping to learn kind of the sales process on top of just kind of the responsibilities and help understand what it looks like on the SEO side and just kind of an all-around what it looks like to own a business because that’s something I want to do in the future for sure. How I would describe the atmosphere here at Thrive is high energy, great professionalism, great people. It’s just it’s a place you definitely want to visit and Be at plays delivery style humorous professional Hilarious just he does it. I haven’t seen someone do it better. So he does he does a great job Most valuable thing I’ve learned so far a lot of it has been extremely valuable So but one one thing that was really stuck out to me is the s learning the SEO stuff I mean that is I think things you don’t really even think about, and then you hear it and you think you know it, but you don’t know it. So I feel like that was the most valuable. Well, they’re missing out on just coming down to just basic applications to be a business owner. I mean, I feel like it’s like an absolute necessity, you know, to come here and learn the ins and outs, and maybe come here once and twice or twice if they you know take good notes that kind of thing Why to just did it’s the experience here and what you can learn like absolutely So marketing and SEO seems like something that would be very scary But then in the way that clay and his team described it became very clear and concise and something that’s very accessible to any business I’ve learned a lot about marketing at this conference and a lot about business management and HR. Really everything, the key components of anybody’s business, they’re going to give you the best tools to be successful at it. So most workshops or conferences can be really boring, really one note, or they just seem so theatrical that it’s a joke and it’s not even giving you the tools that you need or that you came there for. But here, it’s still high energy, it’s still fun, everything’s to the point, but it’s very professional. And yeah, you’re missing out on easy steps to use in your business that are very accessible and very clear. My name is Abigail McCarter. The best thing I’ve learned so far is definitely organization, schedule wise, always keeping a to-do list keeping your calendar organized I’m kind of all over the place. So that’s always good to know so clay’s presentation style and the atmosphere is Electric it’s so energetic. It’s so fun Plays hilarious, but also knows a ton. So it’s just really great all around This conference is much different than any other conference I’ve gone to. Again, because it’s fun. A lot of other conferences, it’s really quiet, really cold, and you just kind of get bored. But this one, you’re always engaged, you’re always learning something, and the staff is amazing. They’re always super helpful. So it’s just been really great. My name is Clint Howard. We’re a personal training and fitness training facility. Oh, wow. I’m learning a ton. So really just the importance of being at the top of Google, how Google works, and why it’s so important to go out and get video reviews and testimonials and getting Google reviews. And so all those things we can take back and really apply that like immediately. So it’s really cool to see not only how to do it, but really the relevance and importance of it in your long-term strategy of your business. Now, it’s amazing actually the way in this morning, and yesterday, I was videoing as I was walking in the front entrance. And actually me, I go to a lot of seminars, I go to a lot of conferences, massive ones. I’ve been doing that since I was like 22 years old, so gosh, almost 20 years now. And this is by far the most entertaining, not only the content, the content is amazing, but Clay and you guys too, it’s just amazing. I mean, I’m not going to lie, I’m not going to lie. I’m not going to lie. I’m not going to lie. I’m not going to lie. the most entertaining, not only the content, the content is amazing, but Clay and you guys do a great job of mixing in entertainment where it’s fun, it’s fresh, it’s lively, you never get bored. I heard a study one time that the reason that children learn so much quicker is because it’s fun, learning is fun, and so obviously Clay is nailed after it. Yeah, I think any business owner or someone that wants to own a business or considering owning and starting a business should definitely come. I know that I was referred here by friends of mine and clients of mine and I’ve referred other people. Again, just to understand what it takes to make a business successful, to have a good time, obviously, you know, like I was just saying, have fun. And that works. There’s a lot of other people here you can learn from and there’s a lot of breaks you can talk to other people. So I think this is a must-attend free debate. It holds the business, and everyone should start this. My name’s Jamie Fagel. I’m with Jameson Fine Cabinetry. I heard about the conference through Andrew. He’s the coach that I deal with here at The Thrive. The most valuable piece I found, even working with Andrew, but it’s been solidified when it came here, was you gotta actually do the things that they’re telling you. With no action, you’re not going to get anything from it. I would highly recommend this to almost anybody in business today. I have recommended to some of my other business partners. It’s phenomenal. It’s really something that if you want to start a business, the only way of doing things is done. This is what you got to do. It’s the only way it’ll work. Hey, this is Charles and Amber Kola. We’re the owners of Kola Fitness. The way we’re able to do that is working with Clay for the last three years. He has really readjusted our thinking and taught us that our business is here to serve us. And by doing that we’re able to live the lifestyle we want and take off on a random vacation last minute. We had totally planned on being at the conference. So wish we could be there and meet all of you. We know you’re having a great time. Yes, Clay in the last three years has helped us build all the necessary systems, checklists, workflows, task lists, time blocks, audits that are always running and the right capable lieutenants to keep track of all that so that you too can get time freedom, financial freedom and that’s what we have done and Clay has helped us do. We’ve got multiple companies in multiple states and they’re all doing very well getting ready to go to more locations in this next year and Cola Fitness has a really big future. We’re teaming up with a couple other groups and we should scale the company here shortly. Hopefully we’ll open like 50 locations in the next 10 years. So but yeah we’re on the way we’re gonna probably more than double our company, maybe triple our company in the next eight to nine months and it’s just awesome. God is working in our business and we’re making Jesus and changing lives. We’re a strong Christian company that focuses on making Jesus famous and changing lives in the fitness field and this is Charles and Hammer Cola thank you thrive hit your action items we love you guys we wish we were there you guys have a wonderful day bye bye I’ll be able to apply a lot of the things that I’ve learned in our business because this is not my first conference. And so a lot of the things that we learned we’ve put into place and now we’re doing the next level of refining the processes for just a different concept. And so it’s getting better and better. Things that were just big processes before, we have the foundation laid and now we’re able to make it better and better. hearing different things now that we’ve implemented things and so we can just make it even better implementing it in our own business. Clay’s presentation and the atmosphere is very exciting and fun. It keeps you awake. It makes it interesting. You have a lot of information, but if it’s not going to be entertaining, your brain is going to tune it out. But Clay makes it just entertaining enough that you retain what you learn? Lots of rhyming and catchy things so that you remember stuff. What makes this conference different than other workshops or conferences that I’ve been to is that there’s a lot of people here in my safe situation. Most of us are pretty small businesses wanting to improve. And we want real life information and something that will work and that’s attainable and not just some crazy magic formula but actual action items that we can implement in our business and actually see a difference. Everyone should attend a ThriveType business conference whether you’re a business owner or not. A, if you’re a business owner it has practical applications that you can apply to so many different parts of your business and then you need to come back for more, so that you can keep doing more of the wonderful things that you learn. But secondly, I am also a mom of three kids. And a lot of the concepts can actually be applied to home. Like getting routines and getting, setting systems at home has just seriously made a huge difference in my life at home. So I’ve been able to improve our business, but I’ve also been able to improve things at home. And so, that’s why everyone should come, no matter what your station is in life. My name is Nolan Kew, I’m originally from San Francisco, California. The industry that I’m in is financial services. I’ve learned a ton so far, but what I can best apply from this conference is the opportunity, that hunger to go out there and make a big difference in my district. Clay’s presentation style is amazing. He’s got an endless amount of energy. It’s contagious. And yeah, by being here, I really do want to go back and be able to face all the adversity that the industry has. Yeah, this conference, the thing that makes it different is that it’s special because it has a unique set of individuals that all share that same energy. I think he takes it as dragon energy, but yeah, that’s what we do. Everyone should come to multiple, but their first would be very special. Yeah, you’re welcome with a lot of enthusiasm. That’ll last for a long time. My name is Gabriella Cruz. Our business is PCS Electric. My husband’s the owner, but I’m involved with that, and so we’re an electric company. Well, here at the conference, they talk a lot about consistency, and so just staying consistent with different things in the business, and I feel like applying that to our business model will really help us grow. The atmosphere is very positive, uplifting, and it’s very fun and energetic, and so it gets you pumped and it gets you excited, and it encourages you to do big things. I probably how real they are. And so conferences are, they kind of sugar coat things, so I like how real they are here. I think it’ll definitely, if you want your business to grow, I think this will be a great, a great experience. And then not only that, it’ll encourage you and inform you on so many things you don’t think about on a daily basis. Hey, I’m Ryan Wimpey. I’m originally from Tulsa, born and raised here. I’ve definitely learned a lot about life here. I’ve learned a lot about the culture here. I’ve learned a lot about the people here. I’ve learned a lot about the people that I’ve met here. I’ve learned a lot about the people that I’ve met here. I’ve learned a lot about the people that I’ve met here. I’ve definitely learned a lot about life design and making sure the business serves you. The linear workflow, the linear workflow for us in getting everything out on paper and documented is really important. We have workflows that are kind of all over the place. Having linear workflow and seeing that mapped out on multiple different boards is pretty awesome. Play is hilarious. I literally laughed so hard that I started having tears yesterday. And we’ve been learning a lot, which, you know, we’ve been sitting here, we’ve been learning a lot, and so the humor definitely helps. It breaks it up. But the content is awesome, off the charts, and it’s very interactive. You can raise your hand. It’s not like you’re just listening to the professor speak. The wizard teaches, but the wizard interacts and he takes questions, so that’s awesome. If you’re not attending the conference, you’re missing about three quarters to half of your life. You’re definitely, it’s probably worth a couple thousand dollars. So you’re missing the thought process of someone that’s already started like nine profitable businesses. So not only is it a lot of good information, but just getting in the thought process of Clay Clark or Dr. Zellner or any of the other coaches, getting in the thought process of how they’re starting all these businesses, to me, just that is priceless. That’s money. Well, we’re definitely not getting upsold here. My wife and I have attended conferences where they upsold, where it was great information and then they upsold us like half the conference and I want to like bang my head into a wall and she’s like banging her head into the chair in front of her. Like it’s good information but we’re like oh my gosh I want to strangle you shut up and go with the presentation that we paid for and that’s not here. There’s no upsells or anything so that’s awesome I hate that. Oh it makes me angry so glad that’s not happening. So the cost of this conference is quite a bit cheaper than business college. I went to a small private liberal arts college and got a degree in business and I didn’t learn anything like they’re teaching here. I didn’t learn linear workflows. I learned stuff that I’m not using and I haven’t been using for the last nine years. So what they’re teaching here is actually way better than what I got at business school. And I went what was actually ranked as a very good business school. I would definitely recommend that people would check out the Thrive 15 conference. The information that you’re going to get is just very, very beneficial and the mindset that you’re going to get, that you’re going to leave with, is just absolutely worth the price of a little bit of money and a few days worth of your time. I’m Rachel with Tip Top K9 and we just want to give a huge thank you to Clay and Vanessa Clark. Hey guys, I’m Ryan with Tip Top K9. Just want to say a big thank you to Thrive 15. Thank you to Make Your Life Epic. We love you guys, we appreciate you, and really just appreciate how far you’ve taken us. This is our old house, right? This is where we used to live two years ago. This is our old neighborhood. See, it’s nice, right? So this is my old van and our old school marketing. And this is our old team. And by team, I mean it’s me and another guy. This is our new house with our new neighborhood. This is our new van with our new marketing. And this is our new team. We went from four to 14. And I took this beautiful photo. We worked with several different business coaches in the past and they were all about helping Ryan sell better and Just teaching sales, which is awesome. But Ryan is a really great salesman. So we didn’t need that We needed somebody to help us get everything that was in his head out Into systems into manuals and scripts and actually build a team So now that we have systems in place, we’ve gone from one to ten locations in only a year. In October 2016, we grossed 13 grand for the whole month. Right now it’s 2018, the month of October. It’s only the 22nd, we’ve already grossed a little over 50 grand for the whole month, and we still have time to go. We’re just thankful for you, thankful for Thrive and your mentorship, and we’re really thankful that you guys have helped us to grow a business that we run now instead of the business running us. Just thank you, thank you, thank you times a thousand. So we really just want to thank you Clay and thank you Vanessa for everything you’ve done, everything you’ve helped us with. We love you guys. And Clay’s done a great job of helping us navigate anything that has to do with like running the business, building the systems, the checklists, the workflows, the audits, how to navigate lease agreements, how to buy property, how to work with brokers and builders. This guy is just amazing. This kind of guy has worked in every single industry. He’s written books with like Lee Crocker, head of Disney with the 40,000 cast members. He’s friends with like Mike Lindell. He does Reawaken America tours where he does these tours all across the country where 10,000 or more people show up to some of these tours. On the day-to-day he does anywhere from about 160 companies. He’s at the top. He has a team of business coaches, videographers, and graphic designers, and web developers and they run 160 companies every single week. So think of this guy with a team of business coaches running 160 companies. So in the weekly, he’s running 160 companies. Every six to eight weeks, he’s doing Reawaken America tours. Every six to eight weeks, he’s also doing business conferences where 200 people show up and he teaches people a 13-step proven system that he’s done and worked with billionaires, helping them grow their companies. I’ve seen guys from start-ups go from start-up to being multi-millionaires, teaching people how to get time freedom and financial freedom through the system. Critical thinking, document creation, organizing everything in their head to building it into a franchisable, scalable business. One of his businesses has like 500 franchises. That’s just one of the companies or brands that he works with. Amazing guy. And that’s what I like him most about him. He’s like a good coach. A coach isn’t just making you feel good all the time. A coach is actually helping you get to the best you. Clay has been an amazing business coach. Through the course of that we became friends. My most impressive thing was when I was shadowing him one time. We went into a business deal and listened to it. I got to shadow and listen to it. When we walked out I knew that he could make millions on the deal and they were super excited about working with him. He told me, he’s like, I’m not going to touch it. I’m going to turn it down because he knew it was going to harm the common good of people in the long run. The guy’s integrity just really wowed me. It brought tears to my eyes to see that this guy, his highest desire was to do what’s right. Anyways, just an amazing man. Anyways, impacted me a lot. He’s helped navigate. Anytime I’ve gotten nervous or worried about how to run the company or navigating competition and an economy that’s like, I remember we got closed down for three months. He was a great man. I’m very impressed with him. So Clay, thank you for everything you’re doing. I encourage you, if you haven’t ever worked with Clay, work with Clay. He’s going to help magnify you. There’s nobody I have ever met that has the ability to work as hard as he does. He probably sleeps four, maybe six hours a day and literally the rest of the time he’s working and he can outwork everybody in the room every single day and and he loves it. So anyways this is Charles Kola with Kola Fitness. Thank You Clay and anybody out there that’s wanting to work with Clay it’s a great great opportunity to ever work with him. So you guys have a blessed one. This is Charles Kola. We’ll see you guys. Bye bye. Hi I’m Aaron Antus with Shaw Homes. I first heard about Clay through a mortgage lender here in town who had told me what a great job he had been doing for them. And I actually noticed he was driving a Lamborghini all of a sudden, so I was willing to listen. In my career, I’ve sold a little over $800 million in real estate. So honestly, I thought I kind of knew everything about marketing and homes. And then I met Clay, and my perception of what I knew and what I could do definitely changed. After doing 800 million in sales over a 15 year career, I really thought I knew what I was doing. I’ve been managing a large team of salespeople for the last 10 years here with Shaw Homes. And I mean, we’ve been a company that’s been in business for 35 years. We’ve become one of the largest builders in the Tulsa area, and that was without Clay. So when I came to know Clay, I really thought, man, there’s not much more I need to know, but I’m willing to listen. The interesting thing is our internet leads from our website has actually in a four month period of time has gone from somewhere around 10 to 15 leads in a month to 180 internet leads in a month. Just from the few things that he’s shown us how to implement that I honestly probably never would have come up with on my own. So I got a lot of good things to say about the system that Clay put in place with us. And it’s just been an incredible experience. I am very glad that we met and had the opportunity to work with Clay. So the interaction with the team and with Clay on a weekly basis is honestly very enlightening. One of the things that I love about Clay’s perspective on things is that he doesn’t come from my industry. He’s not somebody who’s in the home building industry. I’ve listened to all the experts in my field. Our company has paid for me to go to seminars, international builder shows, all kinds of places where I’ve had the opportunity to learn from the experts in my industry. But the thing that I’ve found working with Clay is that he comes from such a broad spectrum of working with so many different types of businesses that he has a perspective that’s difficult for me to gain because I get so entrenched in what I do I’m not paying attention to what other leading industry experts are doing and Clay really brings that perspective for me. It is very valuable time every week when I get that hour with him. From my perspective the reason that any business owner who’s thinking about hooking up with Thrive needs to definitely consider it is because the results that we’ve gotten in a very short period of time are honestly monumental. It has really exceeded my wildest expectation of what he might be able to do. I came in skeptical because I’m very pragmatic and as I’ve gone through the process over just a few months I’ve realized it’s probably one of the best moves we’ve ever made. I think a lot of people probably feel like they don’t need a business or marketing consultant because they maybe are a little bit prideful and like to think they know everything. I know that’s how I felt coming in. I mean we’re a big company that’s definitely one of the largest in town. And so we kind of felt like we knew what we were doing. And I think for a lot of people, they let their ego get in the way of listening to somebody that might have a better or different perspective than theirs. I would just really encourage you, if you’re thinking about working with Clay, I mean, the thing is, it’s month to month. Go give it a try and see what happens. I think in the 35-year history of Shaw Homes, this is probably the best thing that’s happened to us and I know if you give them a shot I think you’ll feel the same way. I know for me the thing I would have missed out on if I didn’t work with Clay is I would have missed out on literally an 1800 percent increase in our internet leads. Going from 10 a month to 180 a month, that would have been a huge financial decision to just decide not to give it a shot. I would absolutely recommend Clay Clark to anybody who’s thinking about working with somebody in marketing. I would skip over anybody else you were thinking about and I would go straight to Clay and his team. I guarantee you’re not going to regret it because we sure haven’t. My name is Danielle Sprick and I am the founder of D. Sprick Realty Group here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After being a stay-at-home mom for 12 years and my three kids started school and they were in school full-time, I was at a crossroads and trying to decide what do I want to do. My degree and my background is in education, but after being a mom and staying home and all of that, I just didn’t have a passion for it like I once did. My husband suggested real estate. He’s a home builder, so real estate and home building go hand in hand, and we just rolled with it. I love people. I love working with people, I love building relationships, but one thing that was really difficult for me was the business side of things. The processes and the advertising and marketing, I knew that I did not have what I needed to make that what it should be. So I reached out to Clay at that time, and he and his team have been extremely instrumental in helping us build our brand, help market our business, our agents, the homes that we represent. Everything that we do is a direct line from Clay and his team and all that they’ve done for us. We launched our brokerage, our real estate brokerage, eight months ago and in that time we’ve gone from myself and one other agent to just this week, we signed on our 16th agent. We have been blessed with the fact that we right now have just over 10 million in pending transactions. Three years ago, I never would have even imagined that I would be in this role that I’m in today, building a business, having 16 agents, but I have to give credit where credit’s due. And Clay and his team and the business coaching that they’ve offered us has been huge. It’s been instrumental in what we’re doing. Don’t ever limit your vision. When you dream big, big things happen. I started a business because I couldn’t work for anyone else. I do things my way. I do what I think is in the best interest of the patient. I don’t answer to insurance companies. I don’t answer to large corporate organizations. I answer to my patient and that’s it. My thought when I opened my clinic was I can do this all myself. I don’t need additional outside help in many ways. I mean, I went to medical school. I can figure this out. But it was a very, very steep learning curve. Within the first six months of opening my clinic, I had a $63,000 embezzlement. I lost multiple employees. Clay helped us weather the storm of some of the things that are just a lot of people experience, especially in the medical world. He was instrumental in helping with the specific written business plan. He’s been instrumental in hiring good quality employees, using the processes that he outlines for getting in good talent, which is extremely difficult. He helped me in securing the business loans. He helped me with web development and search engine optimization. We’ve been able to really keep a steady stream of clients coming in because they found us on the web. With everything that I encountered, everything that I experienced, I quickly learned it is worth every penny to have someone in your team that can walk you through and even avoid some of the pitfalls that are almost invariable in starting your own business.
