Business Coach | Ask Clay & Z Anything

Audio Transcription

My saying is, if it’s important to you, hire a coach. And I think that’s one of the reasons people are not successful is they, you know, they eat a cheeseburger instead of hiring a coach, you know what I mean? And so my coach pushes me, they’re younger than me, they push harder, they’re trained. And as my rich dad always said, you know, amateurs don’t have a coach, but professionals always have coaches. So I’ve always had coaches for whatever is important. You know, my rich dad was one of those persons. I wanted to learn how to play Monopoly in real life. So he was my coach. Well, Carter, you know, we have an opportunity here at the Thrivetime Show to work with some really great business owners, people that are actually serious about growing their company. They go to thrivetimeshow.com and they reach out to schedule a free 13 point assessment. And oftentimes I hop on the phone with these folks and we figure out if they’re a good fit. And once we start working with a client, our goal is to help the client to actually grow their actual business. And on today’s show, we’re joined with a man who we’ve had the opportunity to work with. The company’s called NWA Gutter Perfection. And my understanding Carter is that they’re up over 60%. Is that right? I would say that’s correct, yes. DJ, welcome on to the Thrive Time Show. How are you, sir? Good, how you doing, Clay? I’m doing great. So for anybody out there who is doubting whether you’re a hologram or not, what’s the name of your company, sir? Gutter Perfection. How did you guys first hear about us? Do you know? It’s actually a friend of mine found out about your business conferences there and then we went there and I guess I was sold the first conference we went to. And you know as far as working with us, could you tell everybody out there what are the services that you guys provide? What are the products and services that your company provides? And then we can talk about how we’ve been able to help you grow there. We do everything gut related from gutter installation to cleanings, leaf guard installation, French drains. And so your business, how long have you guys been in business there at NWA Gutter Perfection? About three years now, just tipping over three years. And why did you guys originally reach out for help? I mean, do you remember kind of where you felt stuck or where you needed the most help? I mean, I think one of the partners has a business mind. I do not have a business mind at all. So really, I’ve learned a lot from everything, not just one aspect, it was the total package, I guess. Now, Carter, you’ve had the opportunity to work with DJ and you’re always telling me great things about working with him. What makes DJ a great person to work with? Like what makes him a great client to work with? So diligent doers, but one of the big things they do really well is tracking their leads. And that’s one that gets lost on some people. There is a statistic in this office where it’s like things from Forbes, 35 to 64% of leads never get called at all. And so having that lead tracker, you can see if there’s any drifted leads on there and it is really, really effective. So basically what we do is leads that are booked are green, leads that are no’s are red, and then leads that are like drifted are yellow. And we don’t have any yellows. It’s kind of the idea behind it. So let’s just talk about the business and what we’ve been able to work on together to help them grow. And then we’ll get into the lead tracking here. So first thing, hypothetically, it’s hard to track leads if you don’t have any leads. It’s true. And so we’ve worked with the folks at Gutter Perfection to help increase the number of leads. DJ, do you know, has the number of leads gone up since you started working with us there, sir? I would say yes. I think we were already ranking in Google, I think, when we started working with you. But the help of the reviews, that really skyrocketed the leads that we’ve been getting. So the number of leads has gone up. Yes. And then when people fill out the form on the website, let’s talk about the systems we put in place there. Do you guys have a call script in place now for calling the leads there, DJ? We do have a call script. We’re still working on a bunch of the other scripts that we have in place, but for the most part, my wife does all of the handling of the calls. So she and Carter have worked, and I know a lot of the stuff she didn’t like to do, but she also sees that it’s not set up for her to do that long-term. It’s for somebody else to do that. But obviously, she cares about the company. So if she writes the script, then the people need to follow that script. Got it. And I’m going to pull this up on the screen so people can kind of follow along and see this process. Because growing a company isn’t an event. It’s actually a process. So step one, establishing the revenue goals. I’m not asking you for your revenue goals on today’s show, but do you have in your mind the revenue goals that you guys, do you guys have clear revenue goals for your business there, sir? Yes, and they change probably every year. OK, now, as far as the break even numbers, we want all of our clients to know how many sales they need to break even. Do you feel like you have a pretty good grasp of that at this point as far as how many deals you need to break even? Yes. Okay. Now, this third box we work with our clients on is making sure we define how many hours per week they’re willing to work, kind of build a sustainable schedule. And for every client, this is a different number, but at this point, are you in a rhythm there with the business where you guys have a schedule that works for you guys? I have a schedule that works for me. I don’t know how much that works for my wife, but my schedule works for me. So yes, individually, we each have our own, our own jobs. Now, this next area is we have to determine the unique value proposition. What is it that makes you guys different from the competition? Well, I mean, right there at the beginning of the website, it shows Coma the 10-year no-leak guarantee. That’s, I’m not sure where our competition is with that, but that’s the best around that I know of. And then just the taking care of the customers and making sure that they are the priority. We moved down from Minnesota and that’s a lot different here than it is in Minnesota. How is it different in Arkansas than Minnesota? I mean, first off, the weather, like you sweat to death here compared to Minnesota, but I think it’s just different. It’s just different. Okay. I actually grew up in Minnesota, so I know a little bit about rhubarb and Minnesota and operating in sub-zero temperatures most of the time. Okay, now improving the branding. I know we’ve worked with you on the website, enhancing the website. Since those website enhancements have been made, the amount of leads has gone up. Now the next area we work on, this next box, is creating a three-legged marketing tool. Carter, what are the three areas that you guys right now at NWA, Gutter Perfection, are implementing to generate leads? Yeah, so we’re working on some Dream 100 marketing right now, currently. But the Google reviews definitely have gone up. The Google leads have gone up as a result of that. And then just getting some video testimonials as well. And then on that lead tracker, they do a great job of writing notes in there. I would say, and DJ, you can tell me if I’m wrong, but somewhere between like 70% of people that book with them mention something about like reviews or testimonials or something of that sort too. Are you hearing that DJ? Are people referencing that they’ve read the reviews or they’ve watched the testimonials? Yeah, I would say, yeah, definitely, probably 70%, if not higher, like 10%. Got it. And let me pull this up real quick so people can see this. One thing we look at when we’re growing a business is we want to establish a three-legged marketing tool, as I mentioned. So leg number one is we want to dominate the search engine results. And so that’s one thing we’re doing right there at NWA Gutter Perfection is we’re generating, we’re dominating the search engine results. The second we’re doing is we’re making sure we’re focused on the online reputation, making sure we’re gathering objective Google and video reviews. And then the third thing that you guys are doing, it appears as though you guys are doing a Dream 100 marketing campaign. Have you gone into that in full force yet? Is that something you’re still working on, Carter? Or where are we at on the Dream 100 system? We’re kind of broaching it right now, right at the beginning, seeing what works and what doesn’t. So right at the beginning of that right now. Okay. And for everybody out there that doesn’t know, Dream 100 is where you make the list of the 100 ideal and likely referral sources that you want to refer your business. DJ, in your world, who would be likely to refer you guys’ business as a roofer? Or I’m sorry, as a gutter perfection business. Who would be likely to refer your business? Roofers, of course, they go kind of hand in hand. Property managers, real estate people, anybody in real estate, pretty much anybody that has anything to do with houses. Got it, and you guys are just now getting started on that. Now, the next box is you have to have sales scripts, recorded calls, one sheets, pre-written emails, and lead tracking. It sounds like you’re nailing the lead tracking right now. Are you implementing recorded calls yet? Have you started that process yet? I know we looked into that. That’s another thing with my wife handling all the calls. She’s like, I don’t want to be recorded. But ultimately, she says that that’s going to be the benefit for the company. So I know she’s checked into that. We’re just finalizing some of that stuff. And I just want people to know this. If you’re looking to grow a business and you’re stuck, the purpose of coaching is it’s not a one-time event. It’s not like we hop on a call and we make all the solutions on one phone call. I tell people, if you want to grow your business every week, we’re going to make about a 2% improvement. So at the end of the year, we’ve improved every aspect of the company. And so each week, DJ, you and Carter meet. What’s the value in your mind, DJ, to having a weekly meeting with Carter where you’re chipping away at the changes as opposed to meeting with somebody quarterly or meeting with somebody monthly? What’s the big benefit you see of meeting weekly? I think just to keep it at top of mind because after running a business, there’s a lot of noise that can get in the way to keep you from ultimately reaching those little goals, which are key to growing the business, I think. So if you met Quarterly, I mean, I don’t know if they’d ever get done, to be honest with you. Now, again, you had a friend of yours that was working with us, is that right? Or a friend of yours had come to our conference? Is that initially how you, you said a friend of yours referred you to us? Yeah, it was actually my brother and I went to one of the Reawaken America tours. Awesome, awesome. Now I’m going to go back here to this again, folks, if you’re out there today and you have a business and you feel stuck, there’s a 14-point system. We’ll walk you through the whole thing, but this I’m just giving you an example or examples of the kinds of improvements we’ll make for you. Now, box eight, you got to determine your sustainable customer acquisition cost. You know, what does it cost to obtain each customer? Are you to a point now where you know how much it costs you guys to gather a new customer? Yeah, I think we got it pretty much nailed down on that part. A lot of the numbers are somebody else’s deal, but we talked about them with Carter. So if I’m paying attention during those meetings, then I know what that answer is. Got it. And then as far as creating systems and processes, are you to a point now where you’re creating checklists and processes for the actual work that you’re doing? Are you to a place now where you’re doing that or where are you at on creating the systems? Yeah, we’re, we started the checklists. Like I said, Sarah had the call scripts done, which I guess would basically be a checklist for the call script part. And we’ve had – yeah, I mean, we still got a ways to go on the checklist, but we’re knocking them out. Now on this next box here is managing people. Carter’s been bragging on you. He says you guys call your leads faithfully, you follow up on your leads and you’re actually converting leads into customers. Any thoughts on the management of people? Has that been a challenge for you to learn how to do that or do you feel like that’s been something you’ve always been pretty good at, DJ? Managing of customers or employees? Employees. I mean, I feel I could definitely learn some more there. I feel sometimes that they push me around a little bit, but after coming to your conferences and listening to you, I mean, there’s definitely room for me to grow in that area. Now, just a fun story, because I manage employees as well, and I just encourage everybody out there, if you have employees in your business and you’re not learning how to, if you don’t know how to effectively manage them, that is one of the things that we’re going to teach you. And that’s something that you and Carter work on every week. Now, as far as the next area here, human resources, finding people, finding quality employees. Have you started the group interview process yet, or have you started the process of hiring people or where are you at right now on the hiring process? Yeah, we haven’t started the group interview yet. We just got a new office location. So hopefully that’ll be, you know, doing that group interview is going to help get that going early this this 24. And I’m sure that it’ll be fine with your guys’ help with the group interview thing. Right now I’m still up in, I’m at a loss for how that’s going to look and what to do with that right now, but. Now, how much are your sales up this year versus last year? That’s a good question. Carter, how much are they up? So last I looked at the tracking sheet, we’re up 60%. 60%. So, what would you say, DJ, for anybody out there that’s thinking about going to thrivetimeshow.com and scheduling a free assessment, we call it a 13-point assessment, but what would you say to anybody out there who’s thinking about scheduling a 13-point assessment with our business coaching team? I mean, I would say to just do it and then go to one of your conferences. Once you’re at the conference, you’re gonna see what these guys are all about. I mean, it’s intense. Like I’ve gone to, I think I’ve been to three of the business conferences now and I learned something every time because there’s so much packed in to those two days that it’s hard to keep track of everything. Even if you take notes, it’s hard to keep it all under control on what’s coming at you. But I mean, I was thinking about that a lot during, I knew that this was coming up. And I think, you know, you could, I think anybody can grow a business to a certain point, but then to actually grow it further than that, like everybody has a cap somewhere. And what is that cap? I think we reached our cap when we reached out to you guys. And now we’ve exceeded that cap, obviously, with the 60% growth over last year. But I mean, I don’t regret joining up. You know, what I find for a lot of people, and Carter, I’d love to get your thoughts on this, is in business ownership, there’s three aspects of business coaching that we work with owners on. One is knowing what to do. I think a lot of business owners just don’t know what to do. They just want to know, tell me specifically what works and I’ll do it. And they want to know the literal plan of what to do. The second is they need somebody to kind of hold them accountable a little bit to make sure that it gets done. And then third is it’s like kind of there’s that, I don’t know if it’s the emotional aspect of it or how you would describe it, but you know, the first time you have to fire somebody, how does that go? The first time you start tracking leads, how does that go? And I feel like those are the three things we’re working on with our clients is, one, what’s the literal path someone needs to go down to to build a multimillion-dollar company? But then the second is the accountability. Is somebody actually going to implement the plan? And then third is the emotional application of those things. And you’re always bragging on DJ and saying that he’s a great client to work with. What makes him, I know I asked you earlier, but what makes him great to work with from your perspective? It’s the day-to-day stuff. Like, you know, the lead tracking is something that gets lost in a lot of people. And it’s like, and you said, you gotta improve 2% every day, and it makes a massive improvement at the end of the year. Well, guess what? If you follow up on leads, it’s gonna make a massive improvement because you’re gonna close that many more deals at the end of the year. And they do a great job of just relentlessly following up on those leads. I like that. I like that mentality, that sales mentality. But just getting stuff done. We’ve got a couple more things to implement, but they just get stuff done. I’m going to pull this up real quick here. Final note here, folks. If you go to nwagutterperfection.com, you can see they’re a real company, they’re a real business, they really are growing. What markets do you service there, DJ, for people out there that might be looking for your services, what’s the market area that you service? Pretty much all of Northwest Arkansas, Bentonville, Springdale, Fayetteville, Rogers, the little surrounding towns there too. And again, if you go to the website here, folks, nwagutterperfection.com, you can see there are real business, real people having real success. DJ, I really do appreciate your time today, sir. And we’ll talk to you soon. All right, thank you. See ya. Take care, bye. I learned at the Academy at Kings Point in New York, acta non verba. Watch what a person does, not what they say. All right, Thrive Nation, on today’s show, we’re gonna be breaking down what Robert Kiyosaki has recently been talking about. Robert Kiyosaki, the best-selling author, the New York Times best-selling author and real estate investment guru, has recently been talking more and more about acta non verba. You say, what’s acta non verba? Well, one, it’s Latin, so don’t get too concerned there, but it’s acta, again, it’s acta non verba. What it means is, what it means is, is action. You need to watch what people do and not what they say. That’s the idea. Watch what somebody does. Ladies and gentlemen, a lot of people talk about having success, a lot of people want to have success, but you know there is a proven path to achieve success. And about four years ago I had the opportunity to connect with somebody by the name of Dr. Mark Sherwood. My good friend Aaron Antus swore by the results of Dr. Sherwood. And we had a chance to team up, and it’s been an honor to team up with his practice and to help him grow his medical practice. And if you’re out there today and you want to grow your business, on today’s show, we’re going to talk about growing your business and what happens when you diligently implement a proven plan. And here to talk about it is Dr. Sherwood. Welcome onto the Thrive Time Show. How are you, sir? Yeah, I’m doing well, Clay. Thanks for having me. And it has been an honor, hasn’t it? What a ride and what a journey it’s been. Now, without getting into the specific financial numbers, you and I were talking offline, and I believe since you and I first talked on the phone to today, I believe you’re about seven times larger. Is that an accurate number? Am I getting that number wrong in some capacity? No, it’s at least seven, closer to eight, yeah. And that’s, so many people talk about growing their business by 2% or 5% or 12%. I want to give people some real facts here. We’re going to go here to Inc. I’m going to do a search right now on Google. I want everyone to do it with me. Assume I’m making this up. Inc. Magazine reports that 96% of businesses fail. That’s according to Inc. Magazine. That’s not clayclark.com. 96%. Now, if you go to usdebtclock.com, which is, by the way, a great way to get depressed. If you go to usdebtclock.org, you’ll see that in America today we only have 9 million, 9.3 million self-employed people, and a country of 336 million. So just if even 10% of our country was self-employed, that would be 36 million self-employed people. But we only have 9 million self-employed people. So we’re talking about it’s like less than 3% of our population is even self-employed to begin with. And so if less than 3% of our population is self-employed and 96% of businesses fail, by default, folks, you’ve got, you know, I mean, it’s a very, very small percentage chance of being successful by default. And so what I want to focus on is implementing a proven path and a proven system. So step number one, since you and I have connected, I didn’t teach this to you, but you do it. You diligently implement a plan. Can you talk about that? Because every week you and I, we connect every week, you know, in this case, there’s a plan that you do, and I won’t get into all the details, but you do it every single week. You do it in the gym, you do it in your business. Talk about implementing a proven routine every day? Well, I think the end of the story of a routine is it produces predictability. And so I look at it like this, good habits done consistently over time provides reliability, which gives you consistency, which gives you faithfulness, which gives you trust. Now, trust is a big deal. Does that trust mean you trust yourself? I hope so. Does it trust mean that your customers or clientele trust you? They do, because it’s predictable. The thing that people can’t stand, Clay, is unpredictability or chaos or just anxiety distributed in businesses. So we facilitate that culture from the top down to the bottom up. As you mentioned, every day I get up and I’m very routine and so are you. We started working together. I remember you telling me you get up at three o’clock in the morning blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I probably like about an hour after you boom, boom, boom, but it’s very predictable. People know where we are, what we’re going to do, what we’re about, and it creates an expectation. I think that among other things has been a key element to experiencing the 800% growth we’ve had, which is, to me, it wasn’t that hard because it’s a process that works. Now, the next question I want to ask you is focus on what you need to do, but then say no to the things you don’t need to do. Again, you have to say no to grow. So, yes, you’re diligent and you’re consistent, but you’re also saying no to grow. And now there are billboards, there are magazines, there are yellow pages. Yes, there are still a few yellow pages. There are billboards, there’s magazines, there’s local cable TV. There’s so many different ways that you could be marketing your business, but you’ve had to say no to grow. You’ve had to focus on, and you and your wife, you guys do books, you do documentaries, you do podcast interviews. You have a proven path, a proven trajectory that you’re on, but you do have to say no to grow. And sometimes you have to say no to good things in order to say yes to great things. Can you talk about the importance of saying no to grow? Yeah, specifically in our job, what we do, which is a kind of a wellness-based optimization of health practice, right? So the bottom line is I run everything through that filter. And our filter is does it bring healing to the person? Does it bring betterment to the person? And there’s all kinds of procedures, gizmos, gadgets, and whatnots out here that we can get involved in. But I always look at it from this standpoint. It’s got to run through that filter and it’s got to pass the test. Is it going to take us more time? Is it going to take us more labor? What’s the expense of it going to be originally? And what’s it going to take for us to recoup the expense, if any? And so I run it through that filter every single time, and if it doesn’t hash out, it may be a good thing, but it’s not a good thing for us. And people don’t understand that, but sometimes the greatest answer is no, because it’s a no that protects you from getting hurt. You mentioned all the advertising mess out there. Clay, we’ve been approached by, as you know, many, many people to advertise in all kinds of markets. If you don’t know what kind of person that you’re after, what is your target demographic, then you can’t just throw spitballs out there at the different sources because you will waste your time and money. And again, in that area, advertising, no, to grow is critical. Now, the next area I want to focus on is having a linear workflow or a mapped out workflow or a written down process. So many business owners don’t have a written down process. So let me just give people an example. I’m going to go up to my website and then I’ll go to your website so people can see this. Very predictable, if people go to thrivetimeshow.com, which by the way, folks, we have about five to 10 people a day that often reach out looking for help growing their company. Now, I only take on 160 clients. That’s not a spiritual number. That’s not a reason, I don’t do that for any spiritual reason. It’s just, I have found that with my team, I like to not have more than 160 clients so that I can meet all my clients. And those clients, they schedule a free consultation. And in order to do that, I have a kind of a call screener that sets up an appointment. They hop on the phone, they find out if they’re a good fit for a free consultation. Then my team books the free consultation for me. And because our average client is with us for six years or longer, if you do the math, we have an opening for a new client about every month or so. So if you look at TWA photos, this is one of my longtime clients based in Chicago, him, and we’re going to hear his success story on part two of today’s show. He reached out, he filled out the form, a member of my team called him to see if he was a good fit. I then coached Tim on the first call, found out he’s a good fit, did my assessment, thought he’s a good fit, coached him through what we’re going to do, laid out the proven plan. True story, and you’re going to hear it on part two of today’s show. Tim went on to build a very, very successful company, and he sold his business. Well, when he sold his business for a big-time exit, guess what that did? That created an opening for another client. And so the process we have over and over and over is you go to thrivetimeshow.com, you can schedule a free consultation. My call screener vets that person to see if they’re a good fit. If they are a good fit, they do an onboarding with myself. Also, we have conference tickets. We do a conference every two months. And I’ve been doing this since 2005. So since 2005, I’ve been essentially doing the same process over and over and over. That’s why when you click on testimonials, you will literally see thousands of client success stories, just thousands, not 100, not 50, but thousands. So I want to see if you can walk us through what does the workflow look like when people go to SureWood.tv? What does that workflow look like? It’s fascinating. And again, you know, you and I just kind of hit it off because we think the same way. So we have, you know, we have an opportunity to visit our website and we get, you know, hundreds of visitors every day. And people can fill out a little questionnaire. It’s like a health assessment question, it’s free. And they get put through a series of funnel emails to sort of qualify what they want to do and sort of kind of vet them at the outset. But if they want to work with us, just like yourself, we have a free webinar that they can go to. At that point, after attending the webinar, Clay, they then have the opportunity at that point to schedule a one-on-one assessment intake appointment with my wife and myself. At that appointment, we determine whether or not they’re a good fit. If they’re a good fit, we develop a plan for those and execute the same plan with the same full minutes. We’re personalized for their lives, much like you personalize that plan with the same general processes for that business, we personalize that plan of the same general processes for their life. Now, when people work with me, with my business, and I’m not a medical business, I have a proven process and a proven system. And so when people go and they go to thrivetimeshare.com and they look at the different success stories, we have companies like oxyfresh.com. We’ve helped them to grow now to 570 locations, 570. And I could go on just listing examples all day. We take companies like Shaw Homes, help them grow from 15 million to $150 million of revenue. And we just have so many success stories. It truly is epic. And that’s why my parent company is called Make Your Life Epic. That is what we do, Make Your Life Epic. Dr. Sherwood, I would say what he does is very analogous to what we do for business, he does for your body. And so, again, I believe what he does, Dr. Sherwood, Sherwood.tv, what he does for your body is very analogous to what we do for business. We guide people down a proven path, and we actually tell people before they decide to become a client what the path is. We tell people, this is what we’re gonna do to get you from where you are to where you wanna be. Now, I know a lot of people, I would say specifically, three people that I see on a weekly basis who have lost over 40 pounds since going to Sherwood.tv. So three people that I see on a weekly basis have lost over 40 pounds as a result of going to Sherwood.tv, learning about the protocols you offer, and then following those. You tell people in advance what the protocol is going to be. That’s very different from a lot of other medical programs that kind of hide the program or the protocol from the potential customer, from the potential patient. They hide it and they say, once you sign up, then we’ll teach you the protocol. Why are you so transparent with teaching people what your protocol is going to be before they become a patient? I think it produces trustworthiness, Clay, because a lot of times with what we do, transparency is key because my wife and I do it too. And I again, I’m not knocking anybody else. I just know that what you just said is very true. It is analogous to you making someone’s company greater. I want to see their lives get greater. I want to optimize their health, give them the biological aging processes speed that’s optimal so they’re not aging too fast. And so we live it out, we do it. And then it’s no secret, man, there are some processes that work. And I tell them, you know, if you’re willing to do this, this will work. And they see us doing it every day. We don’t hide our lives and we don’t shield them, we don’t do something, tell them to do something we’re not doing ourselves. So I think it’s exactly as you said. And to your point, we deal with a lot of entrepreneurs that have worked with you and do work with you. So the interesting overlap is cool. I can think of a couple of people that we’ve worked with that also have, are your clients in their business, and I’ve watched their businesses explode as their personal lives explode. So the synergy there is just astounding to me as I think about that. Now I want to walk people through this again here, folks. Again, we’re kind of walk you through that. How is it that a doctor, a medical provider, a health facility is able to grow their revenue by eight times within a period of just a few years? How is that possible? When 96% of businesses are failing, one is you have to have a proven plan, two, you have to implement that plan each and every week, and three, you have to measure what you treasure. You just have to measure what you treasure. You have to track or it’s going to slack. And that’s true with health, and it’s true with wealth. You have to track or it’s going to slack. And so any area of our lives, if you’re listening right now, you talk about your faith, your family, your finance, your fitness, your friendship, your fun, any area where we are not achieving in our optimal performance, it’s probably because we’re not measuring what we’re treasuring. It’s probably we’re not focusing on it. And again, I’m not attacking anybody out there. There’s somebody out there listening right now. You are in phenomenal physical shape and financially you’re not in shape. There’s somebody else out there listening. You’re in great financial shape. You’re in great physical shape, but your family’s not in great shape. Somebody else out there, you say you got your family, you got your faith, you got your fitness, you got your friendship, but you’re really, really in a bad spot in another area. So whatever we measure is what we treasure. Talk about that for a second because you have a way of helping your patients and your clients to measure what they treasure and to track. And I see people all the time coming into my office of being excited. They’ve lost four pounds. They lost six pounds. They lost nine pounds. They lost 20. They lost 21 pounds. They lost 27 pounds. They lost 30. They lost 40. And you see people gaining confidence every week as they begin to take this massive goal they have and they start to see success day after day. Talk about measuring what you treasure. Yeah, one thing I forgot to add too in the process, we have quarterly events. I mean, I didn’t, you know, we have those things too, which are kind of cool. That’s kind of a culmination of stuff that people can celebrate. But when we talk about measurables, we talk about this all the time, you know, physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, financial, the five parts of a human experience. And so, and I talked to them, I don’t get into heavy dealing with their debt though, but I talked to them about eliminating debt and building equity, but I use that same terminology within health. I don’t want wellness debt, I want wellness equity. So in other words, if you can’t measure it, don’t do it. I never do a test unless I know what I’m asking, what questions I’m trying to get answered, and why I’m measuring it. I don’t do that. You mentioned weight loss. We have a unique way to measure that, not just about what the scale says, but I’m measuring their body composition, Clay. I’m measuring their percent body fat. I want to know how much muscle they’ve maintained or grown and how much fat they’ve been able to lose. I want to know their visceral fat level. I want to know their blood pressure. I want to know all their scores that I can find. We’ve even got tests that can score their biological aging processes and speeds and actualities. It quantifies that into measurable components. And so we’re actually developing right now, and I haven’t got it rolled out yet, a quotient we’re going to call the FMI age. It’s going to be a little massive thing that we’re going to put together. Because I think people are aging in a way that is probably too fast. You know, and I think we can probably age better. But to your point, I concur a thousand percent. If you can’t measure it and it’s not quantifiable, don’t do it because then it becomes a distraction. Now I want to tap into your wisdom on this, let you kind of show off what you do a little bit here. You know, one of my wonderful clients is called Koloff Fitness. Koloff Fitness and Charles Koloff started out doing personal training. He started out doing personal training. Now part two of today’s show, folks, you’re gonna hear his success story too. So you’re gonna hear the success story of TWA Photos. You’re gonna hear the success story of Koloff Fitness. He started out doing personal training. And then he decided, you know what? I wanna open up a gym. And then he said, you know what? I want to open up a second gym. And that’s where we met him is as he was scaling the business. And so what he does when people want to lose weight, I’ll tell you his secret. He tells them, here’s the deal. I need you to not eat wheat, no sweets and no alcohol. And people are like, what? He’s like, no wheat, no sweets, no alcohol. We’ll see you three days a week working out. And he starts that process, he starts small, no wheat, no sweets, no alcohol, three days a week working out. And over time they start to add maybe more detail to it, more supplementation, more detail, maybe more vigorousness to it. But they start off with no wheat, no sweets, no alcohol, three days a week working out. And then they start to build on that foundation. I want to get your, just for anybody out there that’s thinking about becoming a SureWood.tv patient or client, and they’re maybe concerned about what’s going to be required of them, what sort of life changes need to be made in the lives of people that, you know, are thinking about implementing the SureWood path? And I know there’s a lot of details, a lot of research that you do into each and every patient, but what are a couple of practical steps that every single one of your patients has to implement right away? Well, I appreciate, you know, I know Charles is one of my great people, by the way, and I concur with what he said. That’s a great start for anybody right there so at least take that. I think for us our advice would be simply put if it’s real food eat it don’t diet. If it’s an original package it’s fine. If you can imagine it being in that package in the Garden of Eden it’s fine. So I tell people typically to stay away it’s going to sound crazy anything the government subsidizes don’t do it. That’s kind of what I tell them with food. And then people can go, oh, yeah, I get that because the government subsidizes wheat, corn, soy, dairy, and that kind of mess. So I tell them stay away from that. Then I tell them that every day I want you to try to get somewhere between about seven hours give or take is probably if you can get that much. And then I tell them every day that you don’t move is a day you’re dead So I wanted to move more sit less the days you don’t move Are the day that you’re are going to be in the rigor mortis? So I make sure I tell them that and then I want them to have the last little bit Speak life over self man. Don’t speak death over self. Many times people can walk themselves into a process of Oblivion by talking themselves into death every day saying they can’t do it. Now, for anybody out there that hasn’t worked with us, I mean, you and I have had the opportunity to work together faithfully each and every week now for years. What would you say the impact has been on your business, you know, working with us, you and I working together, for anybody out there who’s maybe thinking about working with us or becoming a client of ours? Well, without question, people need guidance today, Clay. It’s like a ship without a rudder. You represent the rudder. You can teach them how to drive, but you also shift that boat in the right direction. I would recommend people do connect with you because you will do a good job, it will be consistent, it will be predictable and if people just copy these habits no matter what business you’re in You can adapt them to the business the habits work And you will see a good return on an investment and it will exponentially grow and then the last thing I’ll say with that When you connect with clay Clark you you need to set your bar high He will not let you set that bar low because he’s gonna stretch you, he’s gonna push you, and he’s gonna get the, on a set like this, people pull the potential out of you and get you believing again in a good way. So, highly recommend it. I just, working with you has been an honor. It’s a true win-win. For anybody out there that’s looking for health optimization, check it out at SureWood.tv, SureWood.tv, and again, what you do is so analogous for health to what we do for wealth. And so for anybody out there, if you’re looking to optimize your health, check out Sherwood.tv. Sherwood.tv. Dr. Sherwood, thank you so much. And again, for anybody out there that doesn’t know the story here, which should be everybody, you and I were just talking offline the other day. And you were saying, hey, Clay, I just want you to know since you and I first connected, we’re up eight times. And I just thought, well, man, there’s so much discouragement in the world we live in. We need to document this and get this on camera. So thank you for keeping us updated, sir. And I can’t wait to have you on the show next week. You’re welcome. Thanks for having me as always. Take care. Bye-bye. Okay, Thrive Nation, on part one of today’s show, we just shared about the epic growth of Sherwood.TV, long-time client of ours. He’s been able to grow his medical practice by eight times, the revenue by eight times. Now, this is, I want to see on today’s show, if today’s guest number two, if Tyler can share with us how he could save, help to save a company like Sherwood.TV copious amounts of money. Now, as a full disclosure, Sherwood.TV, this is Dr. Sherwood, he has many, many patients that pay via credit card. And again, Tyler is the credit card company that I utilize for all of our credit card transactions and processing. And so, without any further ado, Tyler, welcome on to the Thrive Time Show. How are you, sir? I’m good, Clay. How are you guys today? Brother, I’m fired up. I’m fired to talk to you here. I’m a little bit hopped up on Dayquil, so I’ve got to ask you. I’ve got a client like Sherwood, Dr. Mark Sherwood, where we’ve helped him grow by eight times. A lot of times when people think about business growth, they think about growing marketing, branding, sales, but a lot of times when they think about growing their profits, they don’t think about reducing their credit card fees. Tell us about what your company could do with a company like his, a medical practice that’s grown by eight times, to help them reduce their expenses. Sure. I mean, it’s what we do all day, every day. Whether it’s a medical practice or any other kind of business. We would look at his processing statements and we would put together the most aggressive plan in the industry to make sure that he’s taken care of for the lifetime of his account. So when we go in and do that, we price someone as low as possible right out of the gate. Now I know that to be true, but I don’t know that a lot of listeners know that to be true yet. So what you guys do, and correct me if I’m wrong, is we’ve used you forever with our credit card processing, but at the same time, we’ve used you for years and years, but at the same time, you guys offer a month-to-month agreement, and then when you guys compare rates, out of the gate, if a business is doing $8-10 million a year of revenue, I’ve seen you be able to save people thousands and thousands of dollars. Can you explain to us your philosophy on the month-to-month agreement and how much money you can typically save a business owner? Sure. The reason we do month-to-month is because we want to prove ourselves to the business owner. We want them to know that, hey, give us a chance. Let us have an opportunity. And if for whatever reason we don’t hold up our end of the agreement, then you’re free to go. But we don’t typically lose customers because we’re holding up our end of the agreement. And then how we save customers money is we start from the beginning at the lowest price that we know to go. A perfect example, I met with a business owner this week here in our city, and two restaurants he thought he was being taken care of. We’re digging into it and looking at it. At the end of the day, we were going to save him one restaurant where he doesn’t do a ton of volume was going to be $600 a month, and then his big restaurant is right at $1,800 a month. So with us, he’s going to save $2,400 a month starting today because he’s going to get installed, and that’s almost $30,000 a year back into his pocket. I watch this all the time. I watch you do it all the time and I really think the first step we need to do is just schedule that first consultation and the way you guys have set it up we built a fun landing page a page that really gets to the point quickly. It’s Thrivetimeshow.com forward slash credit card and people go there they can simply fill out the form name email phone number they put a little bit of information their message maybe the kind of business you have that sort of thing. They fill out the form and then your company, IntegratedPaymentServices.com, calls them. So again, you go to Thrivetimeshow.com forward slash credit dash card. Then a member of your team will contact them. From that point, what’s the next step? What happens next for any of the listeners out there that have a business that want to reduce their credit card fees? Someone from our team will reach out and then, you know, in that first initial call, we really want to learn about their business. We want to learn what they do, how they do it. Is there a way that maybe we can enhance what they’re doing whenever they’re taking payments or make things easier? And then from there, we, you know, we have them send us a couple of reports. We put together a comparison and then, you know, we’ll have a follow-up call if they want to move forward. All in all, it takes maybe five or 10 minutes for the initial conversation. And if they want to move forward, that next step takes about two to three minutes. So it’s not a long process. We make it as easy as possible. And again, I’ve used you guys for years. I’m super happy with the service you guys provide. I’m going to pull up that website one more time here. For anybody out there that’s thinking about working with you guys at integratedpaymentservices.com, why should everybody go to thrivetimeshow.com forward slash credit dash card. Fill out the form and compare rates there sir. Who doesn’t like to save money? There it is. Alright, if you want to save money go to Thrivetimeshow.com forward slash credit dash card. Tyler I really appreciate your time sir. We’ll talk to you next week. Alright bud, have a good week. Bye bye. Hey guys, Luke Erickson here with the Thrive Time Show. Well, they’re going to have to come and find out, because I don’t know. Well, I’m just saying, Tim Tibo’s going to teach us how he organizes his day, how he organizes his life, how he’s proactive with his faith, his family, his finances. He’s going to walk us through his mindset that he brings into the gym, into business. It is going to be a blasty blast at Tulsa Ruslim. Also, this is the first Thrive Time Show event that we’ve had where we’re going to have a man who has built a hundred million dollar net worth. Wow. Who’ll be presenting. Now we’ve had a couple presenters that have had a billion dollar net worth in some like a real estate sort of things. Yeah. But this is the first time we’ve had a guy who’s built a service business and he’s built over a hundred million dollar net worth in the service business It’s the yacht driving Multi-state living guru of franchising Peter Taunton will be in the house This is the founder of snap fitness the guy behind nine round boxing He’s gonna be here in Tulsa Russell of Tulsa, Russell of Oklahoma, June 27th and 28th JT Why should everybody want to hear what Peter Taunton has to say. Oh, because he’s incredible. He’s just a fountain of knowledge. He is awesome. He has inspired me listening to him talk. And not only that, he also has, he practices what he teaches. So he’s a real teacher. He’s not a fake teacher like business school teachers. So you got to come learn from him. And now the best-selling author of The Carnivore Diet and the multiple time Joe Rogan guest, Dr. Sean Baker, joins our two-day interactive business growth and life optimization workshop. Also, let me tell you this, folks. I don’t want to get this wrong, because if I get it wrong, someone’s going to say, you screwed that up, buddy. This is from Michael Levine. This is Michael Levine. He’s going to be coming. He’s going to say, who’s Michael Levine? I don’t want to get this wrong. JT, you’re in the process of building a super successful company. You started out with a million dollars in the bank account? No, I did not. Nope, did not get any loans, nothing like that, did not get an inheritance from parents or anything like that. I had to work for it and I’m super grateful I came to a business conference. That’s actually how I met you, met Peter Taunton, I met all these people. So if you’re out there today and you want to come to our workshop, again you just got to go to Thrivetimeshow.com. You might say, well when’s it going to be? June 27th and 28th. You might say, well who’s speaking? We already covered that. You might say, where is it going to be? It’s going to be in Tulsa, Russia, Oklahoma. It’s Tulsa, Russia. I’m really trying to rebrand Tulsa as Tulsa, Russia, sort of like the Jerusalem of America. But if you type in Thrive Time Show and Jinx, you can get a sneak peek or a look at our office facility. This is what it looks like. This is where you’re headed. It’s going to be a blasty blast. You can look inside, see the facility. We’re going to have hundreds of entrepreneurs here. It is going to be packed. Now, for this particular event, folks, the seating is always limited because my facility isn’t a limitless convention center. You’re coming to my actual home office. And so it’s going to be packed. Planning your time, breaking it all down, making time for the F6 in your life, and just really implementing it and sticking with the program. It’s really lively, they’re pretty friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. I attended a conference a couple months back, and it was really the best business conference I’ve ever attended. At the workshop I learned a lot about time management, really prioritizing what’s the most important. The biggest takeaways are you want to take a step-by-step approach to your business. Whether it’s marketing, what are those three marketing tools that you want to use, to human resources. Some of the most successful people and successful businesses in this town, their owners were here today because they wanted to know more from Clay and I found that to be kind of fascinating. The most valuable thing that I’ve learned is diligence. That businesses don’t change overnight. It takes time and effort and you’ve got to go through the ups and downs of getting it to where you want to go. He actually gives you the road map out. I was stuck, didn’t know what to do and he gave me the road map out step by step. We’ve set up systems in the business that make my life much easier, allow me some time freedom. Here you can ask any question you want, they guarantee it will be answered. This conference like motivates me and also gives me a lot of knowledge and tools. It’s up to you to do this. Everybody can do these things, there’s stuff that everybody knows, but if you don’t do it, nobody else is going to do it for you. I can see the marketing working, and it’s just an approach that makes sense. Probably the most notable thing is just the income increase that we’ve had. Everyone’s super fun and super motivating. I’ve been here before, but I’m back again because they motivated me. Your competition’s going to come eventually, or try to pick up these tactics. So you better, if you don’t, somebody else will. I’m Rachel with Tip Talk Kenai, and we just want to give a huge thank you to Clay and Vanessa Clark. Hey guys I’m Ryan with Tip Top K9 just want to say a big thank you to Thrive 15. Thank you to Make Your Life Epic. We love you guys we appreciate you and really just appreciate how far you’ve taken us. See? Looks good. Nice, right? So this is my old van and our old school marketing. And this is our old team. And by team I mean it’s me and another guy. This is our new house with our new neighborhood. This is our new van with our new marketing. And this is our new team. We went from four to 14. And I took this beautiful photo. We worked with several different business coaches in the past, and they were all about helping Ryan sell better and just teaching sales, which is awesome, but Ryan is a really great salesman. So we didn’t need that. We needed somebody to help us get everything that was in his head out into systems, into manuals and scripts, and actually build a team. So now that we have systems in place, we’ve gone from one to 10 locations in only a year. In October 2016, we grossed 13 grand for the whole month. Right now it’s 2018, the month of October. It’s only the 22nd, we’ve already grossed a little over 50 grand for the whole month and we still have time to go. We’re just thankful for you, thankful for Thrive and your mentorship and we’re really thankful that you guys have helped us to grow a business that we run now instead of the business running us. Just thank you, thank you, thank you, times a thousand. So we really just want to thank you, Clay, and thank you, Vanessa, for everything you’ve done, everything you’ve helped us with. We love you guys. If you decide to not attend the Thrive Time Workshop, you’re missing out on a great opportunity. The atmosphere at Clay’s office is very lively. You can feel the energy as soon as you walk through the door. And it really got me and my team very excited. If you decide not to come, you’re missing out on an opportunity to grow your business, bottom line. I love the environment, I love the way that Clay presents and teaches. It’s a way that not only allows me to comprehend what’s going on, but he explains it in a way to where it just makes sense. The SEO optimization, branding, marketing, I’ve learned, marketing is key, marketing is everything. Making sure that you’re branded accurately and clearly. How to grow a business using Google reviews and then just how to optimize our name through our website also. Helpful with a lot of marketing, search engine optimization, helping us really rank high in Google. The biggest thing I needed to learn was how to build my foundation, how to systemize everything and optimize everything, build my SEO. How to become more organized, more efficient. How to make sure the business is really there to serve me, as opposed to me constantly being there for the business. New ways of advertising my business, as well as recruiting new employees. Group interviews, number one. Before we felt like we were held hostage by our employees. Group interviews completely eliminates that because you’re able to really find the people that would really be the best fit. Hands-on, how to hire people, how to deal with human resources, a lot about marketing, and overall, just how to structure the business, how it works for me, and also then how that can translate into working better for my clients. The most valuable thing I’ve learned here is time management. I like the one hour of doing your business is real critical if I’m going to grow and change. Play really teaches you how to navigate through those things and not only find freedom, but find your purpose in your business and find the purpose for all those other people that directly affect your business as well. Everybody. Everybody. Everyone. Everyone needs to attend the conference because you get an opportunity to see that it’s real. Hey Flyover family, come join us June the 27th and 28th, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Do you want to make more sales? Do you want to own your own business? Do you want to have breakthroughs financially? The key to that is knowledge. Clay Clark is anointed to help people in business. We’ve watched him over the last couple of years and we’ve been blown away. He’s part owner of over 160 businesses. 2.4 billion dollars in sales. Before politics and the great reset came into Clay’s life, he had the number one rated Apple podcast and he interviewed people like Anthony Robbins, Seth Godin, the top authors, top business minds in the world. At this specific event, there was an interesting cast of characters that come from gangs to American Idol. Some of the guests that are going to be there, Michael Levine, Peter Tompkins, John Lee Dumas, Mondo De La Viga. And Tim Tebow. They’re there to share what they’ve done and their breakthroughs and what their story is. And then Clay lays his map of business success, calls the path for every person to follow. Oh my God! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey guys, Luke Erickson here with the Thrive Time Show. As you can see behind me, we’ve got all kinds of energy going on. People are starting to show up for the conference and it is hot in this place. We’ve got grill guns over here, we’ve got people playing the drums, we’ve got a fire breather, and man, people are so excited as they come in. The conference is kicked off. This house is packed. We’ve got air-conditioned shoppers up there. We’re talking about what is possible when you just implement, when you implement, when you do that, it’s so exciting, people are going crazy. We just wrapped up day one. It was incredible. We had some remarkable speakers. Michael Levine. We just finished with a lady named Jill Donovan who owns a company called Rustic Cuff. Talking about the power of the Dream 100. I cannot wait to see what tomorrow holds. Hey guys, Luke Erickson with the Thrive Time Show here with you. It is day two and the energy is high. People are so excited to be showing up. The team is ready. Come on, let’s see what it’s like to go on in for day two. All the way. I’ll tell you what, people are so excited to be here for day two. It is going to be incredible. Cannot wait to see what today has in store. Right now, here at the conference, we’ve broken into groups going over search engine optimization. I know for most of us, myself included, if you hear that term, you go, what is that? What does that mean? That’s too techy for me. Well, our experts are breaking it down for people so that you can clearly understand how to come up top in Google. It’s doable. It’s possible. Now we’re in the middle of a break and what we like to do is we like to give you as much tangible and relevant information from about the start of the hour for 45 minutes. Then we take approximately a 15 minute break to allow people to connect with other entrepreneurs around them, bathroom break, and also use this time to just really digest all of the good information that you’re receiving the whole time. Right behind me we’ve got Bob with his grill gun melting an ice sculpture. It is awesome. The ice sculpture represents our life, right? It’s here for a time, but we all need to have the sense of urgency to implement the things that we’re learning so that we can make the most of the time that we have. We are outside, you can see a line behind me. What’s going on is that we partner with different companies to help them implement the proven systems over and over and over again. And one of those companies is Master Machine. And so what we like to do is partner with these companies to also help them give samples to other people as they come to the conference and truly get their name out. I just wanted to recap some of the amazing things that have happened today. We’ve had entrepreneurs like Paul Hood, the good CPAs. We’ve had Jill Donovan and Michael Levine come up. It just imparts so much wisdom and knowledge. We’ve got an incredible giveaway for one of our TV’s. Hey there Thrive Nation, one of the things that we love most about our business conferences is that we want every entrepreneur to leave with their questions answered. So what we do is we let them put the questions up on the board here so that they can ask their specific questions and Clay will not end the conference until every question is answered. Behind this, Clay Carrard is answering all the different questions that entrepreneurs have brought to the conference. Whenever someone comes here and starts to hear this information, especially for the first time, it just brings about so much anticipation of wanting to actually implement the proven systems and processes. And so Clay always wants to make sure that he answers all of their questions, because they’re the most set up for business, to be able to go home and start implementing. If you have any questions, email us at info at thrivetimeshare.com. Hello, I’m Wes Carter. I’m one of the shareholders at Winters and King. My favorite thing that Thrive has helped me accomplish here in our firm is thinking a little bit outside of the box. They do SEO, they do printing, they help us with a lot of things from the day-to-day marketing for the firm, but they also help us think of things that as attorneys we probably wouldn’t normally think of that help us market our services to our clients. One of the things I love about working with Thrive is that they make it enjoyable to actually do work with them. It’s not dry, it’s usually fun, but it’s always very enjoyable and practical. They give me things and ideas that I can put into place. It’s not just some theoretical spiel that they give me. We get practical steps that we work on together to do my job better. So me personally, I would easily recommend Thrive 15 services to my friends, my families. I’d recommend them to my clients. I think they do a good job, they’re passionate, they care about their clients, and I think it’s actually a valuable service they provide to people that are in the business world. My name is Jeff Thomas. I’m originally from Atlanta, Georgia. It’s all about getting to the grindstone. It is about putting the… It’s one thing to have a specific vision or a dream, but knowledge without application isn’t knowledge at all. So that’s nothing. Really funny, the atmosphere is very lively. Everybody that is working for Clay is very upbeat and not tired, not sluggish, not complaining, not whining. They don’t have anything to do with those types of characteristics. It’s all about getting to the grind and having fun while you do it. I haven’t actually been to any conferences in the past, but what I will say from what I’ve seen on YouTube and what from other friends have told me is, this isn’t like a motivational kind of thing, such as, you know, hoo-hoo, rah-rah, it gets you motivated, but it’s like practical steps that if you do take them, which most people aren’t willing to do, then you will grow and you will achieve the specific things that you want. Well, for one thing, I would say that this isn’t necessarily for everyone. So if you’re not willing to work, this isn’t for you. But I will say that if you are willing to work, and you know you’re just getting started, but you have actually taken a step in that direction, then this will actually help you grow further exponentially than you could ever imagine. My name is Taylor Hall. I’m the general manager of the Tulsa Oilers professional hockey team. You know our goal every night here at the BLK Center is to try to fill the seats with with lots of people and create a you know an exciting environment so when somebody comes to a game they want to come back. Working with Clay and the staff at Thrive, they’ve really helped you know us in many many ways. Website and graphic design and video production and a lot of things that go along. And a lot of businesses, including ours, doesn’t have a staff or a full-time videographer or graphic designer. But the biggest thing that we noticed was the needle mover. More sales, more attendance, more successes in business. We had a record year last season working with Clay for the first time. Our average attendance is higher than it’s ever been. So there’s a lot of really cool things that we did and they worked. That’s the nice thing about working with Clay and the team over there. It’s just not one person, you get the entire team. If you need video design and editing and production, they’ve got that. If you need graphic design, if you need some coaching, your sales people and call scripts, PR, they offer all that. Clay was instrumental in helping guiding us and getting us on the right track so that we could really raise the bar and become ultra successful. So it’s been an amazing experience for us. My name is Kaitlin. I own a tumbling gym called Justice Tumbling Companies. Working with Clay is so helpful. Just being diligent with everything and making sure we execute our goals and really make things happen. It’s fun, it’s tight, it really gets you energized and going. It just makes you really want to work. To get the momentum going, to really just get that buzz, really give you the energy to get up and make it happen. I’m in the charcoal drilling industry and the name of my business is GrillBlazer. How will I apply what I’ve learned so far into my business? I’m actually a client of the Thrive team and I learned so much from what I’m learning at this conference and my regular weekly attendance that it’s helping me establish the business and get it off the ground. Face presentation style is just blatant disregard for what anybody wants. He just has fun, it’s him, everything that you see is authentically Clay. It’s a great deal of fun, everybody enjoys it. They know when you walk in, they think they’re coming into a carnival, and frankly they are. It’s just great fun. There’s not another conference like it. You just don’t go to a carnival atmosphere and learn like you do here at the Brighton. It’s great. The reason people should attend at least one of these conferences is because it’s common sense. And everybody’s fed an entire line about the way you should run a business, but until you actually experience running a business, which is, candidly, what you learn here, how to run a business, you don’t know what you’re doing. My name is Tyler Hastings, and this is my wife, Rachel, and our company is Delricht Research out of New Orleans. During our time working with Thrive, we’ve had numerous successes. When we first started, we were working with one physician, we had one research site, and we were seeing on average, you know, between 10 and 15 patients a week. Since working with Thrive in the last 18 months, we now have four research sites. We work with over five physicians. And on average, we’re now seeing over 60 patients per week. Recently, we’ve been the top enroller worldwide in seven studies, which is just incredible, considering where we were two years ago, 18 months ago. Thrive really differs from the other conferences that we’ve been to and the other kind of programs that we’ve been through because they actually really practice what they preach and they implement the same systems and the processes that they teach you about and they give you real life examples that really work for them and show you with the training how to implement that yourself. For example, Tyler and I actually got the opportunity to come out to Tulsa and we’re fortunate enough that the Thrive team took us out to some of the businesses that they own and we really got to see in real life, real time, some of the systems and processes and it was just incredible. A real life example of some of the businesses and the things that they’re implementing. Having a coach is important to us. They act as not only an accountability factor, but they’re someone we can talk to on a daily basis as we go through the problems of running a business that inevitably come up. They always understand what we’re going through and they’re always there to help us or guide us through the problems that we experience. The best part of our experience working with Thrive has just been seeing our relationship grow. So at each step as our business grows, they have something else to provide us with. They’ve got the resources, whether it be marketing, graphic design, website development, or even in accounting practices, maybe we need a new insurance policy. If they have someone they can connect us with or they have the direct resource we need to speak with for any of the problems we face. If someone is thinking about signing up for the coaching program, I would highly recommend that they call in for a free 30-minute coaching session and see exactly what the team can do for you. Just speak with someone and let them know what you’re going through. And I think you’ll find that, you know, regardless of what you need, there’s someone there that can help you. Clay’s presentation style, it’s very real and raw. Like it just gets real down to the bone of it and the real purpose of it. There’s no like fluffy vagueness about it, you know? So, he really gets to the point. I’m always reminded about how important it is to be intentional and to really, really pay attention to how you schedule your time and really honor it. Because whatever gets scheduled gets done. That’s what he said from Lee Copperl. So, just constantly hearing that and getting reminded helps me to reinforce that in my own life. It always helps to get an outside perspective and especially from a guy that’s grown so many multi-million dollar businesses. It doesn’t hurt. My name is Nick Guajardo. I heard about the Thrive Time Show workshop through He’s my, Andy Mathurin and Larry Montgomery. They’re my bosses at Restore Home Health. So I work with a home health company called Restore Home Health. And my role is pretty much to bring in business. So I was hoping to learn kind of the sales process on top of just kind of the responsibilities and help understand what it looks like on the SEO side and just kind of an all-around what it looks like to own a business because that’s something I want to do in the future for sure. How I would describe the atmosphere here at Thrive is high energy, great professionalism, great people. It’s just it’s a place you definitely want to visit and be at. The app. Plays delivery style, humorous, professional, hilarious. Just, he does it, I haven’t seen someone do it better. So, he does a great job. Most valuable thing I’ve learned so far? A lot of it has been extremely valuable. So, but one thing that’s always really stuck out to me is the SEO, learning the SEO stuff. I mean, that is, I think, things you don’t really even think about, and then you hear it, and you think you know it but you don’t know it so I feel like that was the most valuable. Well they’re missing out on just what comes down to just basic applications to be a business owner. I mean I feel like it’s like an absolute necessity you know to come here and learn the ins and outs and maybe come here once or twice if they you know take good notes that kind of thing. Why? So just, it’s the experience here and what you can learn, like absolutely. So marketing and SEO seemed like something that would be very scary, but then in the way that Clay and his team described it, became very clear and concise and something that’s very accessible to any business owner. I’ve learned a lot about marketing at this conference and a lot about business management and HR, really everything, the key components of anybody’s business, they’re going to give you the best tools to be successful in. So most workshops or conferences can be really boring, really one note, or they just seem so theatrical that it’s a joke and it’s not even giving you the tools that you need or that you came there for. But here, it’s still high energy, it’s still fun, everything’s to the point, but it’s very professional. And yeah, you’re missing out on easy steps to use in your business that are very accessible and very clear. My name is Abigail McCarter. The best thing I’ve learned so far is definitely organization, schedule-wise, always keeping a to-do list, keeping your calendar organized. I’m kind of all over the place, so that’s always good to know. So Clay’s presentation style and the atmosphere is electric. It’s so energetic. It’s so fun. Clay’s hilarious, but also knows a ton. So it’s just really great all around. This conference is much different than any other conference I’ve gone to, again, because it’s fun. Like a lot of other conferences, it’s really quiet, really cold, and you just kind of get bored. But this one, you’re always engaged. You’re always learning something. And the staff is amazing. They’re always super helpful. So it’s just been really great. My name’s Clay Howard. We’re a personal training and fitness training facility. Oh, wow. I’m learning a ton. This morning so far has been search engine optimization. So, really just the importance of being at the top of Google, how Google works and why it’s so important to go out and get video reviews and testimonials and getting Google reviews. And so, all those things we can take back and really apply that like immediately. So, it’s really cool to see not only how to do it, but really the relevance and importance of it in the long-term strategy of the business. Now, it’s amazing actually the way in this morning and yesterday I was videoing as I was walking in the front entrance and actually me I go to a lot of seminars I go to a lot of conferences, massive ones. I’ve been doing that since I was like 22 years old so gosh I’m almost 20 years now and this is by far the most entertaining not only the content, the content is amazing but Clay and you guys do a great job of mixing in entertainment, entertainment where it’s fun, it’s fresh, it’s lively, you never get bored and I heard a study one time that the reason that children learn so much quicker is because it’s fun, learning is fun, and so obviously Clay has nailed that, where it’s very fun to be here and keeps you awake, keeps you energized, so I’m having a blast. Yeah, I think any business owner or someone that wants to own a business or considering owning and starting a business should definitely come. I know that I was referred here by friends of mine and clients of mine and I’ve referred other people. Again, just to understand what it takes to make a business successful, to have a good time, obviously, you’re not going to stay in and have fun. And that works. There’s a lot of people here you can learn from and there’s a lot of breaks to talk to other people. So I think this is a must-do for anybody that owns a business or that wants to start a business. My name is Jamie Fagel. I’m with Jameson Fine Cabinetry. I heard about the conference through Andrew. He’s the coach that I deal with here at Thrive. The most valuable piece I found even working with Andrew, but it’s been solidified when it came here, was you’ve got to actually do the things that they’re telling you. With no action, you’re not going to get anything from it. I would highly recommend this to almost anybody in business today. I have recommended it to some of my other business partners. It’s phenomenal. It’s really something that if you want to start a business, the old way of doing things is gone. This is what you got to do. It’s the only way it will work. Hey, this is Charles and Amber Kola. We’re the owners of Kola Fitness. The way we’re able to do that is working with Clay for the last three years, he has really readjusted our thinking and taught us that our business is here to serve us. And by doing that, we’re able to live the lifestyle we want and take off on a random vacation last minute. So we had totally planned on being at the conference. So wish we could be there and meet all of you. We know you’re having a great time. So yes, Clay in the last three years has helped us build all the necessary systems, checklists, workflows, task lists, time blocks, audits that are always running and the right capable lieutenants to keep track of all that so that you too can get time freedom, financial freedom. And that’s what we have done and Clay has helped us do. We’ve got multiple companies in multiple states and they’re all doing very well, getting ready to go to more locations in this next year. And Co-op Fitness has a really big future. We’re teaming up with a couple other groups and we should scale the company here shortly. Hopefully we’ll open like 50 locations in the next 10 years. So, but yeah, we’re on the way. We’re gonna probably more than double our company, maybe triple our company in the next eight to nine months. And it’s just awesome. God is working in our business and we’re making Jesus and changing lives. We’re a strong Christian company that focuses on making Jesus famous and changing lives in the fitness field. And this is Charles and Amber Cola. Thank you Thrive. Hit your action items. We love you guys. We wish you were there. You guys have a wonderful day. Bye bye. My name is Jennifer Johnson. I’m in the pest control industry and also weed control fertilization and my business is Platinum Pest and Lawn. Some of the things that, I’ll be able to apply a lot of the things that I’ve learned in our business because this is not my first conference and so a lot of the things that we learned, we’ve put into place. And now we’re doing the next level of refining the processes for just a different concept. And so it’s getting better and better. Things that were just big processes before, we have the foundation laid, and now we’re able to make it better and better. And I’m hearing different things now that we’ve implemented things. And so we can just make it even better, implement it in our own business. Clay’s presentation and the atmosphere is very exciting and fun. It keeps you awake. It makes it interesting. You have a lot of information, but if it’s not going to be entertaining, your brain is going to tune it out. But Clay makes it just entertaining enough that you retain what you learn. Lots of rhyming and catchy things so that you remember stuff. What makes you unique? Something that makes this conference different than other workshops or conferences that I’ve been to is that there’s a lot of people here in my same situation. We’re all, most of us are pretty small businesses wanting to improve and we want real life information and something that will work and that’s attainable and not just some crazy magic formula but actual action items that we can implement in our business and actually see a difference. Everyone should attend a DriveType business conference whether you’re a business owner or not. A, if you’re a business owner it has practical applications that you can apply to so many different parts of your business and then you need to come back for more so that you can keep doing more of the wonderful things that you learn. But secondly, I am also a mom of three kids, and a lot of the concepts can actually be applied to home, like getting routines and getting, setting systems at home has just seriously made a huge difference in my life at home. So I’ve been able to improve our business, but I’ve also been able to improve things at home. And so that’s why everyone should come, no matter what your station is in life. My name is Nolan Khoo. I’m originally from San Francisco, California. The industry that I’m in is financial services. I’ve learned a ton so far, but what I can best apply from this conference is the opportunity, that hunger, to go out there and make a big difference in my district. The presentation style is amazing. You’ve got an endless amount of energy. It’s contagious. And yeah, by being here, I really do want to go back and be able to face all the adversity that the industry has. Yeah, this conference, the thing that makes it different is that it’s special because it has a unique set of individuals that all share that same energy. I think he picked it as dragon energy. But yeah, everyone should come to multiple, but their first would be very special. Yeah, you’re welcome with a lot of enthusiasm. That’ll last for a long time. My name is Gabriela Cruz. Our business is HTS Electric. My husband’s the owner, but I’m involved with that, and so we’re an electric company. Well, here at the conference, they talk a lot about consistency, and so just staying consistent with different things in the business. I feel like applying that to our business model will really help us grow. The atmosphere is very positive, uplifting, and it’s very fun and energetic. It gets you pumped and it gets you excited and it encourages you to do big things. I probably know how real they are. They tell you upfront what you need to do and what’s like a no-go. And some conferences are, they kind of trigger code things. So I like how real they are here. I think it’ll definitely, if you want your business to grow, I think this would be a great, a great experience. And then not only that, it’ll encourage you and inform you on so many things you don’t think about on a daily basis. Hey, I’m Ryan Wimpey. I’m originally from Tulsa, born and raised here. I’ve definitely learned a lot about life design and making sure the business serves you. The linear workflow, the linear workflow for us in getting everything out on paper and documented is really important. We have workflows that are kind of all over the place, so having linear workflow and seeing that mapped out on multiple different boards is pretty awesome. That’s really helpful for me. The atmosphere here is awesome. I definitely just stared at the walls figuring out how to make my facility look like this place. This place rocks. It’s invigorating. The walls are super, it’s just very cool. The atmosphere is cool. The people are nice. It’s a pretty cool place to be. Very good learning atmosphere. I literally want to model it and steal everything that’s here at this facility and basically create it just on our business side. Play is hilarious. I literally laughed so hard that I started having tears yesterday. And we’ve been learning a lot, which, you know, we’ve been sitting here, we’ve been learning a lot, and so the humor definitely helps, it breaks it up. But the content is awesome, off the charts, and it’s very interactive, you can raise your hand, it’s not like you’re just listening to the professor speak, you know. The wizard teaches, but the wizard interacts and he takes questions, so that’s awesome. If you’re not attending the conference, you’re missing about three quarters to half of your life. You’re definitely, it’s probably worth a couple thousand dollars. So you’re missing the thought process of someone that’s already started like nine profitable businesses. So not only is it a lot of good information, but just getting in the thought process of Clay Clark or Dr. Zellner or any of the other coaches, getting in the thought process of how they’re starting all these businesses, to me, just that is priceless. That’s money. Well, we’re definitely not getting upsold here. My wife and I have attended conferences where they upsold, where it was great information and then they upsold us like half the conference. Now I want to like bang my head into a wall and she’s like banging her head into the chair in front of her. Like it’s good information but we’re like oh my gosh I want to strangle you shut up and go with the presentation that we paid for and that’s not here. There’s no upsells or anything so that’s awesome I hate that. Oh it makes me angry so glad that’s not happening. So the cost of this conference is quite a bit cheaper than business college. I went to a small private liberal arts college and got a degree in business and I didn’t learn anything like they’re teaching here. I didn’t learn linear workflows. I learned stuff that I’m not using and I haven’t been using for the last nine years. So what they’re teaching here is actually way better than what I got at business school. And I went what was actually ranked as a very good business school. I would definitely recommend that people would check the Thrive 15 conference. The information that you’re going to get is just very, very beneficial. And the mindset that you’re going to get, that you’re going to leave with, is just absolutely worth the price of a little bit of money and a few days worth of your time. I’m Rachel with Tip Top K9 and we just want to give a huge thank you to Clay and Vanessa Clark. Hey guys, I’m Ryan with Tip Top K9. Just want to say a big thank you to Thrive 15. Thank you to Make Your Life Epic. We love you guys. We appreciate you and really just appreciate how far you’ve taken us. This is our old house. This is where we used to live. This is our old neighborhood. See? It’s nice, right? So this is my old van and our old school marketing. And this is our old team. And by team, I mean it’s me and another guy. This is our new house with our new neighborhood. This is our new van with our new marketing. And this is our new team. We went from four to fourteen. And I took this beautiful photo. We worked with several different business coaches in the past and they were all about helping Ryan sell better and just teaching sales, which is awesome, but Ryan is a really great salesman. So we didn’t need that. We needed somebody to help us get everything that was in his head out into systems, into manuals and scripts and actually build a team. So now that we have systems in place, we’ve gone from one to 10 locations in only a year. In October 2016, we grossed 13 grand for the whole month. Right now, it’s 2018, the month of October. It’s only the 22nd, we’ve already grossed a little over 50 grand for the whole month, and we still have time to go. We’re just thankful for you, thankful for Thrive and your mentorship, and we’re really thankful that you guys have helped us to grow a business that we run now instead of the business running us. Just thank you, thank you, thank you, times a thousand. So we really just wanna thank you, Clay, and thank you, Vanessa, for everything you’ve done, everything you’ve helped us with. We love you guys. Hello, my name is Charles Colaw with Colaw Fitness. Today I want to tell you a little bit about Clay Clark and how I know Clay Clark. Clay Clark has been my business coach since 2017. He’s helped us grow from two locations to now six locations. We’re planning to do seven locations in seven years and then franchise. Clay has done a great job of helping us navigate anything that has to do with running the business, building the systems, the checklists, the workflows, the audits, how to navigate lease agreements, how to buy property, how to work with brokers and builders. This guy is just amazing. This kind of guy has worked in every single industry. He’s written books with Lee Crocker, the head of Disney with the 40,000 cast members. He’s friends with Mike Lindell. He does Reawaken America tours where he does these tours all across the country where 10,000 or more people show up to some of these tours. On the day-to-day, he does anywhere from about 160 companies. He’s at the top, he has a team of business coaches, videographers, and graphic designers, and web developers, and they run 160 companies every single week. So think of this guy with a team of business coaches running 160 companies. So in the weekly, he’s running 160 companies. Every six to eight weeks, he’s doing reawaken America tours. Every six to eight weeks, he’s also doing business conferences where 200 people show up and he teaches people a 13 step proven system that he’s done and work with billionaires, helping them grow their companies. So I’ve seen guys from startups go from startup to being multimillionaires, teaching people how to get time freedom and financial freedom through the system. Critical thinking, document creation, making it, putting it into, organizing everything in their head to building it into a franchisable, scalable business. One of his businesses has like 500 franchises. That’s just one of the companies or brands that he works with. So, amazing guy, Elon Musk, kind of like smart guy. He kind of comes off sometimes as socially awkward, but he’s so brilliant, and he’s taught me so much. When I say that, Clay is like, he doesn’t care what people think when you’re talking to him. He cares about where you’re going in your life and where he can get you to go. And that’s what I like him most about him. He’s like a good coach. A coach isn’t just making you feel good all the time. A coach is actually helping you get to the best you, and Clay has been an amazing business coach. Through the course of that, we became friends. My most impressive thing was when I was shadowing him one time. We went into a business deal and listened to it. I got to shadow and listen to it. When we walked out, I knew that he could make millions on the deal and they were super excited about working with him. He told me, he’s like, I’m not going to touch it. I’m going to turn it down because he knew it was going to harm the common good of people in the long run. The guy’s integrity just really wowed me. It brought tears to my eyes to see that this guy, his highest desire was to do what’s right. And anyways, just an amazing man. So anyways, impacted me a lot. He’s helped navigate. Anytime I’ve gotten nervous or worried about how to run the company or navigating competition and an economy that’s like, I remember we got closed down for three months. He helped us navigate on how to stay open, how to get back open, how to just survive through all the COVID shutdowns, lockdowns, because our clubs were all closed for three months. And you have $350,000 of bills you’ve got to pay. And we have no accounts receivable. He helped us navigate that. And of course, we were conservative enough that we could afford to take it on for a period of time. But he was a great man. I’m very impressed with him. So Clay, thank you for everything you’re doing and I encourage you if you haven’t ever worked with Clay, work with Clay. He’s going to help magnify you and there’s nobody I have ever met that has the ability to work as hard as he does. He probably sleeps for maybe six hours a day and literally the rest of time he’s working and he can outwork everybody in the room every single day and he loves it. So anyways, this is Charles Kola with Kola Fitness. Thank you, Clay. And anybody out there that’s wanting to work with Clay, it’s a great, great opportunity to ever work with him. So you guys have a blessed one. This is Charles Kola. We’ll see you guys, bye-bye. Hi, I’m Aaron Antus with Shaw Homes. I first heard about Clay through a mortgage lender here in town who had told me what a great job he had been doing for them. And I actually noticed he was driving a Lamborghini all of a sudden. So I was willing to listen. Uh, in my career, I’ve sold a little over $800 million in real estate. So honestly, I thought I kind of knew everything about marketing and, um, And then I met Clay and my perception of what I knew and what I could do definitely changed. After doing $800 million in sales over a 15-year career, I really thought I knew what I was doing. I’ve been managing a large team of salespeople for the last 10 years here with Shaw Homes. And, I mean, we’ve been a company that’s been in business for 35 years. We’ve become one of the largest builders in the Tulsa area and that was without Clay. So when I came to know Clay, I really thought, man, there’s not much more I need to know, but I’m willing to listen. The interesting thing is our internet leads from our website has actually in a four month period of time has gone from somewhere around 10 to 15 leads in a month to 180 internet leads in a month. Just from the few things that he’s shown us how to implement that I honestly probably never would have come up with on my own. So I got a lot of good things to say about the system that Clay put in place with us and it’s just been an incredible experience. I am very glad that we met and had the opportunity to work with Clay. So the interaction with the team and with Clay on a weekly basis is honestly very enlightening. One of the things that I love about Clay’s perspective on things is that he doesn’t come from my industry. He’s not somebody who’s in the home building industry. I’ve listened to all the experts in my field. Our company has paid for me to go to seminars, international builder shows, all kinds of places where I’ve had the opportunity to learn from the experts in my industry. But the thing that I’ve found working with Clay is that he comes from such a broad spectrum of working with so many different types of businesses that he has a perspective that’s difficult for me to gain because I get so entrenched in what I do, I’m not paying attention to what other leading industry experts are doing. And Clay really brings that perspective for me. It is a very valuable time every week when I get that hour with him. From my perspective, the reason that any business owner who’s thinking about hooking up with Thrive needs to definitely consider it is because the results that we’ve gotten in a very short period of time are honestly monumental. It has really exceeded my wildest expectation of what he might be able to do. I came in skeptical because I’m very pragmatic and as I’ve gone through the process over just a few months I’ve realized it’s probably one of the best moves we’ve ever made. I think a lot of people probably feel like they don’t need a business or marketing consultant because they maybe are a little bit prideful and like to think they know everything. I know that’s how I felt coming in. I mean, we’re a big company that’s definitely one of the largest in town, and so we kind of felt like we knew what we were doing. And I think for a lot of people, they let their ego get in the way of listening to somebody that might have a better or different perspective than theirs. I would just really encourage you if you’re thinking about working with Clay, I mean, the thing is, it’s month to month. Go give it a try and see what happens. I think in the 35 year history of Shaw Homes, this is probably the best thing that’s happened to us. And I know if you give them a shot, I think you’ll feel the same way. I know for me, the thing I would have missed out on if I didn’t work with Clay is I would have missed out on literally an 1800% increase in our internet leads. Going from 10 a month to 180 a month, that would have been a huge financial decision to just decide not to give it a shot. I would absolutely recommend Clay Clark to anybody who’s thinking about working with somebody in marketing. I would skip over anybody else you were thinking about and I would go straight to Clay and his team. I guarantee you’re not going to regret it because we sure haven’t. My name is Danielle Sprick and I am the founder of D. Sprick Realty Group here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After being a stay-at-home mom for 12 years and my three kids started school and they were in school full-time, I just didn’t have a passion for it like I once did. My husband suggested real estate. He’s a home builder, so real estate and home building go hand in hand, and we just rolled with it. I love the building relationships. But one thing that was really difficult for me was the business side of things, the processes and the advertising and marketing. I knew that I did not have what I needed to make that what it should be. So I reached out to Clay at that time. And he and his team have been extremely instrumental in helping us build our brand, help market our business, our agents, the homes that we represent. Everything that we do is a direct line from Clay and his team and all that they’ve done for us. We launched our brokerage, our real estate brokerage, eight months ago. And in that time, we’ve gone from myself and one other agent to just this week we signed on our 16th agent. We have been blessed with the fact that we right now have just over 10 million in pending transactions. Three years ago I never would have even imagined that I would be in this role that I’m in today building a business, having 16 agents, but I have to give credit where credit’s due. And Clay and his team and the business coaching that they’ve offered us has been huge. It’s been instrumental in what we’re doing. Don’t ever limit your vision. When you dream big, big things happen. I started a business because I couldn’t work for anyone else. I do things my way. I do what I think is in the best interest of the patient. I don’t answer to insurance companies. I don’t answer to large corporate organizations. I answer to my patient, and that’s it. My thought when I opened my clinic was I can do this all myself. I don’t need additional outside help in many ways. I mean, I went to medical school. I can figure this out. But it was a very, very steep learning curve. Within the first six months of opening my clinic, I had a $63,000 embezzlement. I lost multiple employees. Clay helped us weather the storm of some of the things that are just a lot of people experience, especially in the medical world. He was instrumental in helping with the specific written business plan. He’s been instrumental in hiring good quality employees, using the processes that he outlines for getting in good talent, which is extremely difficult. He helped me in securing the business loans. He helped me with web development and search engine optimization. We’ve been able to really keep a steady stream of clients coming in because they found us on the web. With everything that I encountered, everything that I experienced, I quickly learned it is to have someone in your team that can walk you through and even avoid some of the pitfalls that are almost invariable in starting your own business. I’m Dr. Chad Edwards and I own Revolution Health and Wellness Clinic. We’ve got Steve Curry, Tim McClure, and the concepts up there, talking about what is possible when you just implement, that you implement, you do the proven system. So exciting, people are going crazy. Now Michael Levy, writer of many, many PR books, the man who represented people like Michael Jackson, Barbara Streisand, George Bush, he is standing by, speaking to people here at our conference, We just wrapped up day one. It was incredible. We had some remarkable speakers. Michael Levine. We just finished with a lady named Jill Donovan who owns a company called Rustic Cuff talking about the power of the Dream 100. I cannot wait to see what tomorrow holds. Hey guys, Luke Erickson with the Thrive Time Show here with you. It is day two and the energy is high. People are so excited to be showing up. The team is ready. Come on, let’s see what it’s like. It’s a lot of fun. I’m excited to be here. I’m excited to be here. I’m excited to be here. I’m excited to be showing up. The team is ready. Come on, let’s see what it’s like to go on in for day two. Follow me. Right behind me we’ve got Bob with his drill gun melting an ice sculpture. It is awesome. The ice sculpture represents our life, right? It’s here for a time, but we all need to have the sense of urgency to implement the things that we’re learning so that we can make the most of the time that we have. We are outside. You can see a line behind me. We’ve had entrepreneurs like Paul Hood with good CPAs. We’ve had Jill Donovan and Michael Levine come up. It just imparts so much wisdom and knowledge. We’ve got an incredible giveaway for one of our teamies. Hey there Thrive Nation. One of the things that we want every entrepreneur to leave with their questions answered. So what we do is we let them put the questions up on the board here so that they can ask their specific questions and Clay will not end the conference until every question is answered. Behind this, Clay Kilarg is answering all the different questions that entrepreneurs have brought to the conference. Whenever someone comes here and starts to hear this information, especially for the first time, it just brings about so much anticipation of wanting to actually implement the proven systems and processes. And so Clay always wants to make sure that he answers all of their questions so that they are the most set up to be able to go home and start implementing. If you have any questions, email us at info at tribe timeshare dot com. at Thrivetimeshow.com We have come to the end of the 2019 Christmas conference it was incredible These entrepreneurs have gotten so many tangible things that they can go and they can implement Check us out for more information at Thrivetimeshow.com and as we always like to do we want to end with the boom three two one 3, 2, 1, boom! Once I saw what they were doing, I knew I had to get here at the conference. This is probably the best conference or seminar I’ve ever been to in over 30 years of business. You’re not bored, you’re awake and alive the whole time. It’s not pushy, they don’t try to sell you a bunch of things. I was looking to learn how to just get control of my life, my schedule, and just get control of business. Planning your time, breaking it all down, making time for the F6 in your life, and just really implementing it and sticking with the program. It’s really lively, he’s pretty friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. I attended a conference a couple months back and it was really the best business conference I’ve ever attended. At the workshop I learned a lot about time management, really prioritizing what’s the most important. Biggest takeaways are, you know, you want to take a step-by-step approach to your business. Whether it’s marketing, you know, what are those three marketing tools that you want to use to human resources. Some of the most successful people and successful businesses in this town, their owners were here today because they wanted to know more from Clay, and I found that to be kind of fascinating. This conference motivates me and also gives me a lot of knowledge and tools. It’s up to you to do this. Everybody can do these things. There’s stuff that everybody knows, but if you don’t do it, nobody else is going to do it for you. I can see the marketing working. It’s just an approach that makes sense. Probably the most notable thing is just the income increase that we’ve had. It’s super fun, it’s super motivating. I’ve been here before, but I’m back again because it motivates me. Your competition’s going to come eventually, or try to pick up these tactics. So you better, if you don’t, somebody else will. If you decide to not attend the ThriveCon workshop, you’re missing out on a great opportunity. The atmosphere at Clay’s office is very lively. You can feel the energy as soon as you walk through the door. And it really got me and my team very excited. If you decide not to come, you’re missing out on an opportunity to grow your business, bottom line. I love the environment. I love the way that Clay presents and teaches. It’s a way that not only allows me to comprehend what’s going on, but he explains it in a way to where it just makes sense. The SEO optimization, branding, marketing. I’ve learned, marketing is key, marketing is everything. Before, we felt like we were held hostage by our employees. Group interviews completely eliminates that because you’re able to really find the people that would really be the best fit. Hands-on, how to hire people, how to deal with human resources, a lot about marketing, and overall just how to structure the business, how it works for me, and also then how that can translate into working better for my clients. The most valuable thing I’ve learned here is time management. I like the one hour of doing your business. It’s real critical if I’m gonna grow and change. Play really teaches you how to navigate through those things and not only find freedom, but find your purpose in your business and find the purpose for all those other people that directly affect your business as well. Everybody. Everybody. Everybody. Everyone needs to attend the conference Everyone needs to attend the conference because you get an opportunity to see that it’s real.
