Every Thrivetime Show 2 Day Business Conferences was another great learning experience. Not only was I able to learn more at this conference, as I do at every conference, I was also able to meet some of my great business coaching clients like Jamie Fagel with Jameson fine cabinetry and Gabe Selinas with Window Ninjas! At every conference there is always so much practical knowledge that is so applicable to every business. The great thing about business conferences are that they are always improving each and every time we hold one. You can come to 6 conferences in a year, as we have them bi-monthly, and get more and more out of each conference. It’s so great to be able to watch people from all over the world fly into Tulsa Oklahoma, learn practical knowledge, get great ideas from our incredibly decorated and efficient office space, and go home to implement everything they learned.
One of the biggest takeaways I see most people take from each and every conference is the importance of scripting and system building. When you build a script for your team to follow while on the phone or during a sales presentation, you can scale yourself and have consistent flow throughout your company. The same thing goes with checklists and other systems. When you create a checklist you are able to confirm that your team has completed their daily tasks. All of the large companies around the world have call recording, sales scripts, systems, and checklists and Clay teaches you how to implement each one of these items.
Another important thing that is taught at the business conferences is the next step to script and system building. Follow up is that next step and it is incredibly important for your company. You have to build a system that requires you to follow up with your staff to ensure that they have completed their job. You also have to follow up with your customers to ensure that they were happy with the service rendered and to ask them to leave you an objective review on Google. This allows you to correct any issues before they spread to potential customers.Â
There is an endless amount of knowledge that you will take home when you visit the 2 Day Business Conference. You will only learn practical items and you never have to worry about some looming upsell at the end of the weekend. If you’re looking for a conference simply for motivation and empty promises, this isn’t the business conference for you.
